During July 1994 the fans have been blessed with WWF Monday Night Raw main events featuring The Barbarian vs The Undertaker; Razor Ramon vs Jim Neidhart; Yokuzuna vs Bob Backlund; and The Hart Foundation vs Shawn Michaels & Bob Backlund: and a WWF In Your House featuring a main event between Bret Hart vs Bob Backlund.

The creative geniuses of WWF have blessed the fans with a booger man; two sheepherders; a clown; a midget clown; a garbage man; a sparky plugg; a jobber named Powers as European champion and several other brilliant gimmicks. You could say that WWF is the place where legitimate tough guys becomes enhancement talents, while talentless bums with stupid names and gimmicks are pushed to the top.

Meanwhile in the World Championship Wrestling, the Bash Of The Beach in July 1994 was headlined by "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan vs "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair.

This way i can keep the "WCW International" theme and showcase stars from all over the world challenging for the WCW Int. World Heavyweight title. So i will try to really use the working agreements with NJPW and AAA. The other alteration is that i did strengthen WWF before i started the save, so when WCW did sign Hogan, WWF responded by bringing in The Warrior. I also did put British Bulldog back in WWF, with an starting absence so they can't use him until the end of august.

Its august 1994 and Hulk Hogan is the new WCW World Heavyweight champion after a epic 30 minute match against "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. After winning the epic match Hogan quoted Julius Caesar "I came, I saw, I conquered, brother!" With the red hot "Clash of the Titan" storyline, WCW are beginning to closing the ratings gap on its rival WWF.

During the Bash at the Beach PPV we also saw Sting defend his WCW International World Heavyweight title against Japanese superstar The Great Muta; Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat defeat "Stunning" Steve Austin for the WCW United States Championship, but Austin wants a rematch; The Nasty Boys defeated Cactus Jack and Kevin Sullivan in a wild and stiff Texas Tornado match, but Kevin Sullivan isn't very happy and has declared that he intends to do everything he can to get the tag team titles back; "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes defeated "Hardcore Icon" Terry Funk, but Col. Robert Parker has a suprise for Dustin, a big menacing bodyguard named Meng; and Johnny B. Badd defeated Lord Steven Regal for the TV title, but has been assaulted several times by the "Elvis Impersinator" Honky Tonk Man.

In the tag team division Bad Attitude, Harlem Heat, Stars 'n' Stripes and The Armstrongs all tries to climb to the top of the food chain for a chance at the tag team titles.

In WCW Main Event the two powerhouses Ice Train and Scott Norton have bumped into each other, resulting in a intense staredown. Is WCW big enough for two big powerhouses?

In the re-activated Light Heavyweight Divison a tournament have started to crown the next WCW World Light Heavyweight champion. In the quarter finals we saw japanese junior Jushin Thunder Liger defeat Mexican luchador Silver King; former champion Brad Armstrong defeat japanese junior El Samurai; ice man Dean Malenko defeat cruiserweighter Brady Boone, and Canadian technical wizard Chris Benoit defeat cruiserweighter Vic Steamboat! In the upcoming semi finals we have Brad Armstrong vs Chris Benoit and Jushin Thunder Liger vs Dean Malenko. Meanwhile the two "Hardcore Legend" Cactus Jack and Terry Funk argues about who is the real "Extremist" in WCW, after Cactus Jack interrupted one of "Mean" Gene Okerlunds interviews with Terry Funk. Cactus Jack vs Terry Funk a dream match for all fans of "Brawling" and "Hardcore" matches?

Hulk Hogan continues to lobby hard for his friends Ed Leslie, Mr. T, Jeep Swenson, Jim Duggan and John Tenta. But according to a inside source, WCW President Eric Bischoff isn't thrilled of the idea to sign those wrestlers to the already bloated, but talented WCW roster.

Jake "The Snake" Roberts didn't sign a new contract with Smokey Mountain Wrestling, but still works in Mexico for AAA. There are some rumours that the grizzled veteran might be very high on the wishlist of WWF or WCW.

"The Ruler of the World" Sid Vicious is rumoured to make a comeback to either WWF or WCW. Jobbers on the rosters of the two top promotions, better beware of the stiff powerhouse.

Is WCW looking for a new giant? According to a inside source, Hulk Hogan has let Eric Bischoff know that he would very much like to work with a "giant" after his current storyline with Ric Flair ends. Is Hogan trying to avoid facing off with Vader? Who is this "giant"? El Gigante? Giant Haystacks? Ron Reis? Robert Maillet?

The Steiner Brothers currently touring with NJPW are one of the best tag teams in the business. When are they returning to the United States? Will they sign for WWF or WCW? Expect The Steiner Brothers to be very high on the wishlists of the two top promotions.

Is Eric Bischoff looking for creative inspiration in Japan? WCW President Eric Bischoff seems to traveling a lot to Japan and have been spotted during various NJPW and UWFi event. Is Bischoff inspired by the Puroresu style or any particular Japanese storyline?

The WCW Power Plant wrestling school run by Buddy Lee Parker and James Earl Wright are showcasing monthly "Open Tryouts". During the tryout in July names like Billy Black, Kidman, David Jericho, Rick Michaels, Ron Reis, Jerry Tuite, Rick Williams and Terry Williams got a chance to show their skills. Except for Billy Black these workers seems to be fairly unknown for the normal wrestling fans. But of course the internet wrestling community smarks know everything about these up-and-coming wrestlers.

The WCW have made a deal with Jody Hamilton. Georgia based Deep South Wrestling is now officially a developement territory for the WCW. On the initial roster are WCW contracted wrestlers such as Maxx Muscle, Brad Anderson, CW Anderson, Van Hammer and Paul Roma. According to rumours "Pretty" Paul Roma seems to be surplus material and have been relegated to DSW after some kind of an backstage incident with WCW stars Arn Anderson and Ric Flair. Other non WCW contracted workers on the DSW roster are The Cole Twins, Tom Howard, Bobby Duncum Jr, Brian Blair, Bryant Anderson, Chris Adams, David Taylor, Horace Hogan, John Layfield, Junkyard Dog and The Texas Hangmen. With major signings like Brian Blair, Chris Adams and Junkyard Dog, Deep South Wrestling looks like a legitimate threat to existing regional promotions in the South East region.

WWF have increased their Production Values to Majestic. A counter-move are expected from WCW.

Dominant monster heel Vader and technician Joe Malenko are going to Japan to work on a couple of NJPW events. This is part of a recent talent trade between WCW and NJPW. According to inside information WCW first offered Sting to be part of the deal, but that NJPW declared that they wanted Vader instead of Sting. As part of the deal a yet unnamed Japanese wrestler is going to work on upcoming WCW events.

Rumours abound that Eddie Gilbert has been up to his tricks with WCW, using his wits to manouvre himself into some politically strong positions and connections. As usual, this has not gone well with some of his colleagues.

Jimmy Hart almost got into a fight with Jeff Farmer, after he caused some damage to Farmers rental car and refused to pay for it.

WCW has changed the days of the Saturday Night and Main Event recordings from Thursday to Wednesday, to avoid having events on the same days as NJPW. The two promotions share several wrestlers and this change of days from Thursday to Wednesday, will make it easier for the wrestlers to be able to work for both promotions.
