The Undertaker dominates the match and pins IRS after a tombstone piledriver - winning the match and the feud. Davey starts to speak when...... (86) .....They're cut off by the shrill opening to 'Sexy Boy' - as Shawn Michaels and Diesel make they're way to the ring - followed by Owen Hart to his theme. Bret, Davey and Razor then make there way out. A fantastic back-and-forth technical match which goes on for around twenty minutes before descending into a brawl - with Diesel and Razor, and Owen and Davey brawling on the outside - Bret manages to hit his five moves of doom before culminating in a Sharpshooter - which Shawn promptly taps to. Shawn, Diesel and Owen then skulk to the back - while Bret, Davey and Razor celebrate in the ring. Are the crowd really interested in PPV pushes of Dave Sullivan and Tex Slazenger? - The WWF card was better despite being a 'B' PPV. - Another issue is the ages of the performers, Tito and Tony Atlas? - Is this Pre-Wrestlemania WWF? - A massive positive for WCW is however, Regal, Austin and Booker T are all under 30, hold belts and look like they could carry the company. The main events certainly did deliver, but how much can WCW really get from Santana, Funk and Duggan? - And WCW really need to pull the trigger on Hogan / Sting. Very modest increases here - As WCW actually pull further into the lead - my guys are younger - but it's hard to see big increases until Shawn, Taker or Diesel is made 'the guy' - Or maybe if Savage is given the belt.

Feuds

Hart family feud: Bret v Owen; - 89 (89) - Momentum stayed the same - with the men squaring off on opposite sides of a six man tag - Feud likely to be put on the backburner from here.

Razor v Diesel & HBK; - 86 - (81) - Feud continues to build momentum. This feud has however been going on almost a year - again will likely need to change it up sooner rather than later.

Million of Dollars vs Hard Working Southern Race Car Driver; - 72 (new feud) - A pleasing return as Lex squashes Plugg in his singles PPV debut - Feud is over with Luger winning conclusively - one and done

Revenge of the Taker; - 72 (new) - After destroying his imposter last month, Undertaker has set his sights on those who have wronged him - starting with the Taxman, IRS's involvement is over, but who will The Undertaker set his sights on next?

Japan vs USA 90 (80) - Randy Savage (and Patriotism) are really over - Savage and Blayze are now 3-0 up over there Japanese opponents - Should probably stop this feud to stop Yoko getting totally jobbed.

Former Young Stallion Jim Powers has also been released - It's never really been acknowledged on WWF TV that this is the same men who won the Tag match at the 1987 Survivor Series. Also going is Bastion Booger - Mike Shaw has been with the Federation a little over a year and his most memorable moment was not showing up at the Royal Rumble (due to indigestion). Jacques Rougeau has now formally left after his swansong at SummerSlam as has backstage announcer Stan Lane. - It's though he was unhappy with his role at the Company and wanted to leave.</div></blockquote>

(91) Duke Droese and Bam Bam Bigelow are up next - Bam Bam comfortably defeats Duke in a basic match (61) Bret Hart and Davey Boy Smith are backstage discussing who Bret will defend his World Heavyweight Championship title against at the PPV - Bret states he's had a meeting with the WWF Board of Directors who have informed him that they will determine the #1 Contender - but have confirmed who it will not be - Owen Hart. Owen and Neidhart appear, and Owen accuses Bret of conspiring with the Board to screw him out of a title match (80) We then head to commercial and when we return, Shawn Michaels and Diesel are being interviewed - ahead of Diesel's match against 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper. Shawn informs the viewers at home - that Piper is a dinosaur, and that Shawn and Diesel are the future - and the present. (94) Piper and Diesel start off with Piper getting in an initial frenzy and taking down the big man. Diesel however cuts off Piper and begins to dominated using his massive size and power advantage. Whist WWF has signed a few women, to beef up the Women's Division. Bison Kimura is a Japanese talent. Terri Powers, who has previously wrestled in Japan, and Lisa Moretti who has wrestled in GLOW. Leilani Kai has also returned to the WWF - she appeared at Wrestlemania X - but is now back in full time - for a few months at least. Shawn Michaels is at ringside - and is his own obnoxious self - he pulls Backlund's leg as he attempts to run the rope - and Diesel hits the Jackknife for the win (82) After the match Shawn Michaels and Diesel celebrate in the ring before Shawn picks up a microphone - he talks about how Big Sexy just jackknifed a fossil back to the Jurassic era - just like how he Superkicked the dinosaur Piper last week. The 80's is over - and now it's our time to shine. Rowdy Roddy Piper storms down to the ring - and gets in Michaels face - he then grabbs the microphone off him and says that maybe his best days are behind him but he can still kick punks like Diesel and Shawn Michaels around. Backlund has now returned to the ring and is backing Piper up. When Piper rushes the ring and demands a match. Tonight! (81) - we then head to commercials... Feuds

Tag (67) - The MVC eventually took on the Naturnal Disasters which ended with a tainted win as Dangerous Dan Spivey aligned himself with The MVC. A way of prolonging the feud and trying to build a decent tag division. This has seen Headshrinkers, MOM, Smoking Gunns, and the Heavanly Bodies pushed to the periphery of the division.

The New Generation vs The Old (95) - A very successful feud - which could hopefully push Shawn and Diesel up as genuine main eventers. Piper is also doing very well. Then again who thinks 'Main Event' Bob Backlund is a good idea in 1994?

The first elimination however is a big surprise Jarrett and Savage are the legal men, and a brawl breaks out on the outside of the ring - between all of the other competitors distracting all teammates and officials - allowing Van Hammer to sneak down to the ring - he clocks Savage with Jarrett's guitar before quickly leaving - Jarrett makes the cover and gets the referee's attention - Savage is eliminated - Jim Ross mentions he recognises the man as Van Hammer (from a 'previous company') - Vince wonders what business Van Hammer has here? Jarrett is next to go - clean - as Bret locks him in the sharpshooter - to even it up at 3 men each - Jeff Jarrett is eliminated. The next elimination takes place after a ref bump - Shawn Michaels takes advantage and returns to ringside - he means to hit the Superkick on Bret Hart but misses and catches Diesel - Piper returns and fights off Michaels - but the damage is done and Bret makes the cover - just as the referee awakens. - Diesel is eliminated For the first time in the match Bret's team have a man advantage - this is however short lived as Sid enters (for the first time in the match) and immediately hits a Release Powerbomb on Bob Backlund and covers him - Bob Backlund is eliminated Bret goes over to Backlund to help him leave the ring - but as Hart picks up Backlund - Backlund grabs in Hart and locks in the Crossface-Chickenwing and shouts like a maniac - and only releases it once Bulldog physically separates Backlund - Backlund stares at his hands in disbelief before heading to the back. Razor Ramon then casually strolls down to the ring - Hey yo - he suggests that why don't Tatanka and Crush go one on one next week - and he'll defend the Intercontinental Championship against the winner at at In Your House. (89) Sid Vicious fresh off his big win at Survivor Series - destroys Scott Taylor in a squash (66) Gorilla Monsoon is now in the back - he announces that WWF is the number one wrestling promotion - and always will be because of the great innovation. He then announces the next great innovation - the WWF Light Heavyweight Tournament - where 8 world class Light Heavyweights will compete for the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship. The New Generation, will be faster, funner and more dynamic and this will be the next step of the evolution. He then reveals the tournament brackets - current WWF Superstars - 123 Kid, Aldo Montoya, Johnny Polo will be joined by New Superstars - Eddie Gilbert, Ricky Morton, Robert Gibson, Dean Malenko and Joe Malenko (58) And the tournament will start... now; 123 Kid who starts the tournament defeats Joe Malenko - the action is noticeably faster, and uses elements of Lucha and Japanese wrestling - with more focus on quick pinfalls and clever counters. 123 Kid wins with a sunset flip. (38) Next an in ring segment with Bob Backlund and Bret Hart - Backlund turned on Bret Hart last night - locking Hart in the crossface chickenwing - and causing him to be pinned. The normally mild mannered Backlund is unhinged - he insists he's still the WWWF Champion. He was never pinned, he never submitted, Bret Hart is a phony Champion. Vince and JR on commentary point out this is in reference to Backlund losing the belt, when his manager Arnold Skaaland threw in the towel while Backlund was locked in the Camel Clutch against The Iron Sheik. Bret Hart is furious - he says that he's a fighting Champion - who has defeated the best in the business to win this belt. This feud started last month at the Survivor Series - when Backlund turned on Hart and locked him in the Crossface Chickenwing - Backlund's attitude has since changed from mild mannered to crazy - with Backlund rambling incoherently about being the 'real world champion' - and insisting he never lost the WWF Title in the first place. Hart agreed to the match to prove he is the undisputed Champion.
