Winter8905
Have you guys ever had a jobber that you developed a connection for and maybe whilst not pushing them you give them some fun angles to be involved with? I'm considering this myself, however not like a lower card KoKo B Ware type. a pure jobber, maybe you bring them in on a one night contract a couple of times to job in a squash but you sign them to more things with? drcat123
Honestly no. In tew terms the jobber's push would have a negative on the match. I usually fire my jobbers went they want a raise. Since they have gained popularity. Ellsworth is worse than barry horowitz

K-Nection
In the C-Verse I've always had a soft spot for Ron Greenhorn. Especially in CVerse97. I'll job him out for a few years and sometimes he is actually able to move up the card. I've had the guy holding the International Championship a few games because he has developed into a solid ring worker.
Dochappy
<p>In my MAW save I have Ben Williams. He wins maybe three matches a year. I have him ina storyline where he wants to join the dominant stable in MAW Power Inc.(Lisa Bowen, The Good Ol' Boys, and Bradley Parker(a dojo graduate). Williams became a friend of Parkers' and wanted to join him in the stable but Bowen only wants to strongest of the strong in Powers Inc. </p><p> </p><p> So Williams is constantly running in and trying to help the Power Inc.members but ultimately costs them matches etc. and ends up being beatdown by the group. Williams has grown a beard and currently trying to bulk up and prove he is strong and worthy to join Power Inc.</p><p> </p><p> He will never make it though. eventually I'll splinter Parker from the group and he will team with Williams or feud with him.</p>

MJStark
In the ThunderVerse I always liked pushing Tony Chi back in the day even though my original plan was jobber every time. Winter8905
In terms of the game who could use a jobber in comedy angles with top guys without it affecting the rating too much? I assume just take the hit or use him in a not rated position? but then it's not realistic, Big Daddy Ellsworth is judged on his selling whilst having some kind of odd charisma. Rone Rivendale
That was Max Mayhem for my save. I like to have one local talent come in every 2 or 3 shows just to give low momentum guys a chance to get a win. Well, Mayhem's squashes always ended up being the best and so I signed him. He was already pretty old by then, but I got I think 3 years out of him and he ended up being a pretty decent midcard player for me.
The Swanton825
I keep trying to push Sick Mick in my Canadian T-Verse games, but he never develops quickly enough and winds up falling back down to jobber. There was also Ben Williams waaaayyy back in ye olden days of TEW 2005.

DoubleA012
I have a custom character I build for RTG that has small stats at first but great potential. He is currently my Enhancement Talent (and user character) for the company I'm running in Thunderverse. I have him as 0-78 right now, my goal is to get him to around 0-200 (or 500) over about a 5 year stretch and have it start to be his gimmick and everything (at least in my mind) like "the streak continues 0-199, will he reach 200?" and have the crowd rooting for him to keep the streak going or get his first win. All while just building up his stats right now. Then when he's ready, I flip it, and he gets like a crazy unlikely first win (maybe if im crazy enough for the World title). The crowd will think its a joke like ellsworth and then i will have him flip the streak and start to just dominate. A guy who couldn't win has finally gained his confidence and honed his abilities enough to be the top face of the company, and let him go on like a 2-5 year title run. That would be the ultimate goal. While he's losing I would want the fans rooting for him like they do Honma in NJPW! lol
Condors
if there is a guy with high selling (bob casey) i always will bring them in and let them put over a bunch of guys. What happens next depends on other factors.
jordanmason17
<p>Bob Holly was my original 'James Ellsworth' I signed up to multiple one night deals during 1987 in my AWA save and had him job in all of his appearances. In late-1988 he was finally signed and continued jobbing until getting involved with Shawn Michaels feud against Brian Pillman and then he started getting more popular so he started teaming with Pillman as the Hollywood Blonds (Austin was still a Hollywood blond too) Bob Holly was then re-packaged as Hollywood Holly.</p><p> </p><p> Then 1993 came around and Bob Holly eventually gained a simmering tension with my user character (Eric Bischoff) so he went back to his jobbing days (even losing twice on live TV to Eric Bischoff in less then a minute) Changed his ring name to BadLuck Holly, placed him in a match against Mike Awesome, Awesome injured BadLuck Holly then I fired BadLuck Holly. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Now in early 1994 in my AWA save, probably look to bring Bob Holly back later down the line, probably when I do a special gimmick battle royal with AWA alumni.</p>
