AAA: The Revolution is Now

I love these lists. I love them so much, I'm just thinking about how soon I can do something similar for QAW. Good job. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<p>Cool Review.</p><p> </p><p>

There is a very important order of business, that needs to be addressed, we must find new Ring Music for Nadia Snow, to cement her spilt from Demelza, she is go to need different entrance music than Demelza.</p><p> </p><p>

The Nadia storyline with Demelza and Kathrine is another story, that I'm looking forwards to seeing play out.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Edit: Not counting Save the Last Dance, outside of the twelve regular shows. We have had 3 Midwest Mayhem(s), 2 Lass Frontier(s) and a Northbest Bash so far. So I'm guessing over the next six months, we will have another 3 Midwest Mayhem(s), 2 Lass Frontier(s) and a Northbest Bash. [i'm guessing that the Northbest Bash is based out of the North West]</p>

Simone French sat outside the gate for her flight to Seattle. Eventually, when she made her way to Spokane for Women of Wrestling, she’d be Simony Sentinel. Was there much of a difference? Not so far as she could tell. After all, she’d been working the pre-show of AAA shows for months now, so it’s not like she’d had much of an opportunity to develop a character beyond being the “Punk” half of the tag team “Princess & the Punk”. And most of the character she did have, was because of how she looked. The bubble-gum pink hair and sleeve tattoos certainly suggested things. Some of those things, Simony mused, were even true. The pink hair was becoming a little more “normal” than it might have been even five years, but it was still enough to make her stand out amongst the black and beige-clothed business travellers who were also waiting for their flight.</p><p> </p><p>

“Excuse me, miss,” said an elderly woman sitting next to her. Simony startled out of her reverie. “I wanted to tell you that I love your hair.”</p><p> </p><p>

Simony smiled. Plenty of people stared at her, especially in places like airports. At the coffee shop and at the outreach center, no one stared, because it was practically uniform standard. But places where people mingled from all kinds of places Simony didn’t go - and frankly, wasn’t welcome - she might as well set off flares, in terms of the attention she drew. Her looks, anyway. It’s not like people were actually paying attention to <em>her</em>. But it was always the little old ladies who actually said anything to her.</p><p> </p><p>

“Thank you very much,” said Simony with a smile.</p><p> </p><p>

“I had a nurse friend who dyed her hair that color,” the woman said. “She did it as part of a breast cancer awareness thing. I guess it worked, because everyone asked her about her hair, and she said why she did it, so that’s pretty good awareness, huh?” Simony nodded. “Is that why you dyed your hair pink?”</p><p> </p><p>

Simony shook her head. “No. Though I don’t know, maybe I should say I did so I can raise some awareness, too!” The old woman chuckled. “No, I dye my hair pink because...I don’t know. I think when I first did it, I was trying to be all rebellious. But now? I guess I’ve gotten used to it. I just...like it, I guess,” Simony said.</p><p> </p><p>

The old woman nodded her head. “Honey, that’s as good a reason as any. Better than a lot of reasons, you ask me,” she opined. “I lived for over thirty years with a man who made me miserable. He wasn’t abusive, I mean, like he didn’t beat me up or anything. Hit me once or twice, but that was rare. But he just made me hate myself. Made me feel so small. Like I was lucky that he ‘put up with me’ and didn’t leave me. I’m not sure why I married him. I was in love, I guess. But I think I did it as much because it was what I was <em>supposed</em> to do. Get married, have kids - I have three children. And I love them very much, but I wonder, did I do all that for me? Or did I do it for him? Or not even for him, for everyone around us?” The old woman paused. Simony waited for her to continue. “I can’t be sure any more. But my husband, he died about a year ago, and for the first time since I was a teenager, I’m single again.”</p><p> </p><p>

“I’m sorry for your loss,” said Simony, reflexively.</p><p> </p><p>

“Thank you,” said the old woman. “It was quick, but it had been coming for years. He didn’t take care of himself at all. It was very hard to deal with. After all, when you’ve lived with someone for most of your life, it’s hard to think how to live any other way. But ever since, I’ve been thinking that the only way I knew how to live was how he wanted me to live. How other people thought I should live. At first, it was scary to think about how long I had not asked how <em>I</em> wanted me to live. All the things I chose not to do, because it wasn’t what I was ‘supposed’ to do. So I’ve decided to do those things. It’s not too late to figure out who I am. Which is why I’m flying over to Japan, all by myself. My kids think I’ve gone crazy, but they’re humoring me. Think it’s my way of ‘getting over’ their father’s death. They’re wrong. I’m finally learning how to live for myself.”</p><p> </p><p>

Simony wondered what it was about airports that made people willing to talk about their personal lives with total strangers. Maybe it was the knowledge that, most likely, you would never see that person again. You could share your full and true self without the fear of repercussions from those who knew you, who expected things from you. “I think that’s wonderful,” Simony said.</p><p> </p><p>

“God, listen to me ramble on!” said the old woman, laughing. “I’m getting a connecting flight to Tokyo in Seattle. What’s there for you?”</p><p> </p><p>

“I promise you I’m not pulling your leg - I’m going to part of a big professional wrestling show. The Angel Athletic Association. We’re an all-woman pro wrestling company,” Simony explained, oddly sheepish.</p><p> </p><p>

“Really? My goodness, that sounds like fun!” exclaimed the old woman. Simony laughed. “I thought maybe you were one of those roller derby girls. They have bright hair and tattoos. I thought about joining a team, but then I remembered that I’m already facing a possible knee replacement and thought maybe not.”</p><p> </p><p>

Simony grinned. “I actually did play derby a few years. Before I decided to really go for this pro wrestling thing.”</p><p> </p><p>

The old woman looked thoughtful, then said, “Do you do shows in Boston? Or are you on TV?”</p><p> </p><p>

Simony shook her head. “No, we’re not quite that big yet. Mostly in the Pacific Northwest. A little bit in the Midwest. We put our shows on the Internet, though.”</p><p> </p><p>

“Well, then,” the old woman said, “looks like I have another reason to get better at using computers. They have everything on computers now.” The ticket agent announced pre-boarding for seniors. “Sounds like I can get on the plane. It’s hell getting old, so I’m going to take every advantage they’re willing to give me,” she said with a crooked grin. “If I don’t see you again on the plane, good luck with the wrestling. And with life! Seems to me you figured something out about life, that it took me until it was almost too late to do something about. Maybe I’ll dye my hair pink, too!” The old woman queued at the gate, and Simony smiled. <em>The world’s oldest Simony Sentinel fan</em>, she thought, and she was glad to have the woman on her side.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div class="ipsEmbeddedVideo"><div><iframe width="200" height="113" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/XFkzRNyygfk?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" title="Radiohead - Creep"></iframe></div></div>.” Karen Kallovski sighed, hoping the costumer would throw her a bone. The girl couldn’t have been more than 25 years old. Of course, anyone from ages 18 to 25 was starting to look about the same age to Kallovski. This was <em>a bad sign</em>.<p> </p><p>

“Oh, definitely!” the girl happily replied. Kallovski made an exaggerated sigh of relief. “They play it as part of the retro block on the local alternative radio station.”</p><p> </p><p>

Kallovski was glad the “Lilith” makeup was pancake white, because her face would otherwise have been beet-red. <em>Seriously, though. What am I doing here?</em> She had already been through the ringer of professional wrestling. TCW. NYCW. MAW - she’d even gotten to hold the book there. Now, AAA. <em>What a long, strange trip it’s been been.</em> And a dual life at that. Sometimes she used to be Karen Killer, the Beautiful Disaster, the mouthpiece for any number of scary-looking men who became comical the moment they opened their mouths. Sometimes she was Karen Kallovski, respected music journalist for Burning Dorothy magazine, who was on the verge of publishing her second book, that would hopefully sell better than her first one. <em>At least the reviews were pretty good</em>.</p><p> </p><p>

And sometimes - now, specifically - she was Lilith. “The Mother of Monsters”. Kallovski couldn’t help but notice the word “Mother” in the title. <em>I’ve officially hit the age where I’m the middle member of the </em><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triple_deity#Triple_goddesses" rel="external nofollow"><em>Triple Goddess</em></a><em>.</em> Back in TCW, they respected she could talk, but it was important that she be “glam-grunge-trash-hot”. It got her onto a lot more posters and DVDs. <em>And oh god, VHS tapes, I’m old enough to have been on VHS covers.</em> When Cat Quine gave her a call, talked about the idea, that wasn’t what she was looking for. One one hand, it was great not to be commoditized purely on sex appeal. On the other hand, it was mildly unflattering.</p><p> </p><p>

Of course, who was she to talk? The costumer was working on Lilith’s shapeless robes - another sign that she was sexless so far as AAA was concerned - in order to take them out a bit. When she had arrived for the photo shoot, they didn’t quite fit right. Kallovski tried to exercise and eat right, but covering concerts and flying around to different cities to talk to bands that could increasingly be made of people who could be her children was not exactly conducive to a healthy lifestyle. Even from when they first fitted her for these robes to now, she’d gotten flabbier. <em>God, I hate getting old.</em></p><p> </p><p>

“All right, Ms. Kallovski, I think that’ll work for now,” the increasingly-annoyingly perky seamstress declared. “I’ll do a new robe for you to wear later, but for today’s photo shoot, I think you’ll look okay.” <em>”Okay”? That’s the best I can do?</em> “Besides, your makeup design is <em>amazing</em>. So creepy! And I love your character! How <em>do</em> you get into character?”</p><p> </p><p>

Karen Kallovski took a deep breath, and closed her eyes. <em>Use it, Karen, use it.</em> She lifted her head and opened her eyes. When she did, the woman standing in the dark robes was no longer Karen Kallovski, but Lilith. Kallovski’s fears and doubts dissolved as if they had been immersed in acid, replaced by Lilith’s strange serenity. She slowly turned her head and fixed her gaze on the young woman, who instinctively drew back ever so slightly. “It’s easy to become Lilith, dearie. All I have to do, is think about how <em>good</em> it feels to destroy something beautiful.”</p><p> </p><p>

Steph Blake yawned. She could go in the ring all day, all night, but this? This was tiring. No, it was tire<em>some</em>. She knew being Femme Fatale champion would mean having to play a larger part in AAA marketing, but honestly. How can it take this long to get one good picture to slap on the Women of Wrestling poster?</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/mkLIQNG.jpg</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

“All right, let’s have you sling the belt over your shoulder. Hmmm. That’s maybe a bit too lackadaisical. Let’s have some intensity. Hmmm, no, not anger. Intensity. All right, angle a bit this way, aaaaaaand…” <em>click</em></p><p> </p><p>

Still, she couldn’t complain. <em>Actually</em>, she thought, <em>I absolutely can complain.</em> It might be ungrateful to do so, but staring into bright - and hot! - white lights for an hour would give anyone a headache worth complaining about. But she was the Femme Fatale champion. The highest honor in North American’s women’s wrestling. Sure, some might argue the USPW women’s champion or the NOTBPW women’s championship was more “important”, but wrestling five-minute pee-break matches for the masturbatory fantasies of ill-adjusted adolescents didn’t sound terribly important from where Steph Blake stood.</p><p> </p><p>

“Okay, if we can have you turn around...now, look over your shoulder. Toward the camera. Make eye contact with the camera. All right, perfect. Adjust the belt a little bit so it doesn’t block your face…”</p><p> </p><p>

“My face?” Steph said, in her natural, thick <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manchester_dialect" rel="external nofollow">Manchester dialect</a>. “I’m fairly certain it’s my bum you’re trying to shoot. What am I, some <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Page_3" rel="external nofollow">Page 3 girl</a>?”</p><p> </p><p>

The photographer blushed, but also looked angry. “Ms. Blake, this is a <a href="http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BoobsAndButtPose" rel="external nofollow">superheroine pose</a>. Comic book artists use it all the time. And when they make comic book movies, they reproduce this pose on the posters. It might make a good, instinctive parallel, when we’re trying to sell at a glance why people should come to your shows.”</p><p> </p><p>

“Yes, I believe what we’re saying here is, ‘Steph Blake’s ass is bloody fantastic because she does at least one hour of high-impact cardio every single day, come to our show and see the newest wonder of the world live and in person,” Blake said, utterly deadpan.</p><p> </p><p>

The photographer shrugged. “Your words, not mine, Ms. Blake. Though I appreciate the stink-eye you’re giving me.” <em>click</em> “You play a villain when you wrestle, right?” <em>click</em></p><p> </p><p>

The corner of Blake’s mouth turned up in a smirk. “Who said anything about me just <em>playing</em> like I’m a villain?” <em>click</em></p><p> </p><p>

<p>Women of Wrestling 20 Prediction Card</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>AAA Headquarters</strong></p><p><strong>

June 30, 2016</strong></p><p><strong>

Tacoma, WA</strong></p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i.imgur.com/kEkUwNO.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Cat Quine sat at her desk, in what was the foreman's office when the "famed" AAA headquarters and Cat's Lair dojo was once a factory. Sherrie "Cherry Bomb" Guthrie sat across the desk from Cat. Cat's desk was an avalanche of various papers, promo items, posters, and god only knew what else. Cherry was fairly certain Cat had slept in her office at least once or twice this week, heading into AAA's biggest show of the year, Women of Wrestling. The dark circles forming around Cat's eyes were a dead giveaway.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i.imgur.com/Dw8k489.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p>

"All right, Sherrie, I know we've been working on Women of Wrestling pretty much non-stop since we got back from Alaska, but I think it might be good to step back and talk a little about the world of women's wrestling outside of our AAA bubble," Cat said, grabbing the correct group of papers through some visual filing system only Cat could hope to understand.</p><p> </p><p>

"If it gets you to chill out about WoW, I'm all for it," said Cherry, in a voice not unlike that of a mother hen.</p><p> </p><p>

Cat arched an eyebrow, but let the comment pass. "Let's talk finances. We made a profit in June, but just barely - about $6,000. Overall, since January, we're down about $30,000. We've still got $220,000 left in the bank at this point, but we're still not at a point where we're consistently turning a profit." Cat sighed. "Anne made sure to let me know, before she left, that AAA had been in the black for 22 straight months. I managed to break that streak in my first month running this company.</p><p> </p><p>

Cherry scoffed. "That's because Anne took zero risks, and never developed any markets except the Pacific Northwest. We talked about this when you first took over. Expanding to a new market is an investment, and you're going to lose money before you start making money."</p><p> </p><p>

Cat considered the idea. "I just hope we start making money soon."</p><p> </p><p>

"Cat, I know it's your job to worry about things like this," Cherry said. "But we've gone from 500 in attendance to almost 1,000, in just six months. We've gone from 20% of wrestling fans in the Midwest saying they're fans to 23%...and that's only been with three shows. Things are trending upwards, Cat."</p><p> </p><p>

"Yeah, I guess you're right, Sherrie. And we're still the largest all-women's wrestling promotion in North America. That's something, right?" asked Cat, rhetorically.</p><p> </p><p>

"I think so. TEW.com ratings agree," Cherry said. "They've got 5SSW in Japan as the 13th largest company in the world, male, female, or mixed. Then we're at #18 - one spot better than CZCW, might I add."</p><p> </p><p>

"That's solid. Where's QAW at this point?" asked Cat.</p><p> </p><p>

"They're ranked #24. Respectable, coming up in the world," answered Cherry.</p><p> </p><p>

"Anne would kill me if they managed to overtake us, so I'm glad to hear there's still separation between us and them," said Cat. "Then again, us and 5SSW and QAW, we all get along pretty well. We're all-women's feds trying to survive in a male-dominated market, we've all got working agreements with each other. The real problems come from the mixed-gender companies."</p><p> </p><p>

Cherry nodded. "According to this, USPW is still considered the #1 company in the world, even if they've fallen in some respects to a cult organization. North of the Border Pro Wrestling is #8, and OLLIE is #14. Those are the organizations larger than us. Beyond that, you've got CILL at #23, EWA at #29, and that odd New Zealand promotion ZEN at #32."</p><p> </p><p>

Cat considered this for a moment. "OLLIE has a very particular style that I wouldn't expect to cause us to have a lot of concerns about poaching each other's talents. Besides, they operate on PPA contracts, same as us, and they don't seem to do many exclusive PPAs, so I'm not too concerned. No, same as always, it's USPW and NOTBPW that we have to watch out for in terms of our talent leaving. Hopefully taking Sara and J-Ro was enough for USPW. I'm still afraid for when the other shoe drops and NOTBPW comes calling."</p><p> </p><p>

"If I may change the subject," Cherry said, "can we go over the final card for WoW? We've already announced most of the big matches, but I'm sure there's a few that haven't been publicized yet."</p><p> </p><p>

"Of course," said Cat. "Now, I've tried to get every woman on the roster onto the show. It's the biggest show of the year, and I wouldn't want them to miss this opportunity. Here's what I've got."</p><p> </p><p>

The pre-show kicks off with a five-way match that could go any way. You've got the veteran high-flyer Anderson. The young and hungry Breaks. The enigmatic newcomer Calvo. The good vibrations of McGee. And the plucky Pirate Lass of Puget Sound, Silver. Five great AAA talents, but only one can win - who will it be?</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The Princess & the Punk have been the queens of the pre-show, racking up an impressive series of tag team victories. However, the powerhouse, Glorious Gloria, has found a tag partner that long-time AAA fans might recognize. Helen Earth won the AAA Tag Team title along with Cherry Bomb. Will the strength of Gloria and the veteran know-how of Earth finally put an end to Higgins and Sentinel's winning streak?</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;">Selina Svelte's tag partner, Talia Quinzel, is recovering from injury. Katherine Goodlooks' tag partner has left AAA. Sarah Taylor has been game in losing efforts against the best AAA has to offer. All three participants in this match are looking to turn their recent luck around, but only one can win.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>Ellie May Walton vs. Amber Allen</strong></span></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The Ultimate Competitor, Amber Allen, made her AAA debut two weeks ago with a decisive victory that showed Allen was not someone to take lightly. Now it's Allen's turn to make sure she doesn't underestimate her opponent. The Farmer's Daughter, Ellie May Walton, is as mean as she is strong - and she's very strong, indeed. Allen will have to show that she can defeat an opponent who's got a decided physical advantage on her, if she's going to continue to make waves in AAA.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Jaime Quine & Paige Croft won the Tag Team titles one month ago, at </div><a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2215468&postcount=127" rel="external nofollow"></a><div style="margin-left:25px;"><a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2215468&postcount=127" rel="external nofollow">Babe Blast</a></div><a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2215468&postcount=127" rel="external nofollow"></a><div style="margin-left:25px;">, from the Delicate Flowers. The four-time tag champs invoked their rematch clause for Women of Wrestling - after Quine & Croft had already been scheduled in singles matches. The Delicate Flowers are one of the very best tag teams in AAA history, and it's clear they're hoping Quine & Croft will be so focused on their singles matches that they won't be focused for this match. Quine & Croft better keep their focus against the Delicate Flowers, because if they don't, the Delicate Flowers can exit WoW as the first five-time Tag Team champions in AAA history.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Laura Flame vs. Suzanne Brazzle</span></strong></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

One woman's a long-time AAA veteran, respected in the locker room, who's been to the pinnacle of achievement in AAA and has held the Femme Fatale championship. The other woman's an AAA rookie who's been quickly rising through the ranks, who respects no one, and is hungry to make her name by defeating a former champion. Flame's willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Brazzle won't back down from a challenge. Who will win out - and with as brutal a match as a Dog Collar match, what will be left of them when the bell rings?</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Devil's Daughter vs. Golden Delicious</span></strong></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Normally, getting attention is what you </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>want</em></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> to have happen as a wrestler. But, when the attention you get is that of the Mother of Monsters, Lilith, that attention may not be the best thing. The Mother of Monsters has declared war against the Angels of AAA, starting with the Golden One. Her "child", Devil's Daughter, has gained a new vicious side since aligning with the Dark Mother. Can Golden Delicious stop this war before it begins? Or will this be the first victory in Lilith's grand scheme?</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Tracey Brendon vs. Steffi Chee</span></strong></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Tracey Brendon is a four-time Tag Team champion, already part of the AAA Hall of Fame as half of the Brendon Sisters. Steffi Chee has traveled the world and found success on multiple continents. There's more wrestling knowledge in this match than you might find in any match on the WoW card - so which woman will be able to put those years of experience to better use and walk away with a victory?</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>AAA Top Contender's Championship</strong></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>

</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Zoe Ammis vs. Foxxy LaRue</span></strong></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Zoe Ammis </div><a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2216969&postcount=142" rel="external nofollow"></a><div style="margin-left:25px;"><a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2216969&postcount=142" rel="external nofollow">"qualified"</a></div><a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2216969&postcount=142" rel="external nofollow"></a><div style="margin-left:25px;"> for this opportunity by defeating an overmatched Joanna Silver. Meanwhile, Foxxy LaRue fought an incredible match against Cherry Bomb at the same show, and might have won if it weren't for Cherry's...ethical flexibility. But don't let that fool you - Zoe Ammis combines great ring awareness and physical skills with a sadistic streak. Foxxy LaRue has proven she's a fighting champion, though, and won't back down against anyone - not even the bright-red rage of Cherry Bomb. Expect a fireworks factory in this one, folks - two of the very best up-and-comers in AAA are sure to bring everything they've got!</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Nadia Snow vs. Demelza Wade</span></strong></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

General Manager Cat Jemson put these two A-Listers in a match together after a messy and public breakup. Jemson hopes it will allow them to blow off some steam and resolve their issues. That's possible. Or this match could solidify their split. This one is personal, folks - no belt on the line, no #1 contendership. Just the opportunity to prove, once and for all, who the </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>true</em></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> A-Lister really is.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>AAA Femme Fatale Championship</strong></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>

</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Paige Croft vs. "The Queen of Mean" Steph Blake</span></strong></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Steph Blake comes into WoW as the Femme Fatale champion, having held the title since she defeated long-time AAA favorite Sara Marie York. She's taken on all comers, and defeated them all. Through questionable means? No doubt - but she's exited with the belt nevertheless. Paige Croft, the Tiny Terminator, has the biggest opportunity of her AAA career at the biggest AAA show of the year - but nothing, not even an opportunity on the grandest stage of all, is enough to rattle the Machine. That said, Paige will have already fought one match earlier in the night, and Steph Blake's conditioning is well-established. Will that be enough to tip the scales in the Queen of Mean's favor? Or will Paige Croft overcome the odds and capture the Femme Fatale championship for the very first time?</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Cage Match Main Event</strong></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>

</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Jaime Quine vs. Cherry Bomb</span></strong></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The personal animosity between these two has been growing since their first encounter at </div><a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2200904&postcount=6" rel="external nofollow"></a><div style="margin-left:25px;"><a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2200904&postcount=6" rel="external nofollow">Pretty Amazing</a></div><a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2200904&postcount=6" rel="external nofollow"></a><div style="margin-left:25px;"> in January. Since then, Jaime's continued refusal to back down in the face of the explosive fury of Cherry Bomb has only poured gasoline on an out of control fire. Now these two face each other in a cage match, hopefully to finally settle who the better woman is. There is no escape from the cage, no DQs, no countouts, no time limits. This match will go on until one woman is declared the victor. Only one woman will walk out the cage door a winner, but both women are sure to leave the cage different than when they walked in.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Bonus Questions:</strong></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

1. There are three AAA titles. How many titles will change at WoW?</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

2. A match grade of 60+ is an excellent match by AAA standards. How many matches at WoW will exceed that rating, if any?</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

3. Which matches will exceed the 60+ rating, if any?</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Tiebreaker</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> - AAA's best attendance will occur at WoW. The previous high was 3,000. The Martin Centre can hold up to 4,000. The actual attendance is somewhere between those two figures. What will be the actual attendance for WoW 20?</div><p> </p><p>

</DIV></p><p> </p><p>

<em><strong>OOC:</strong></em><em> Sorry for the delay, folks - it's been a rough physical year, and had a back spasm that put me prone for about four days. I'm starting to work my way through it. I know for a fact I will be dividing Women of Wrestling into two posts, so be on the lookout for those soon. Also, welcome aboard Sudo! Glad you worked your way through and could join right as the biggest show of the year is about to happen!</em></p>

<p>Pre-show</p><p> </p><p>

Five-Way Elimination Match</p><p>

Wendy Anderson vs. <strong>Ariel Breaks</strong> vs. Elsa Calvo vs. Bobbie McGee vs. Joanna Silver</p><p>

<em>I wonder who you're more high on. My hunch says it's Ariel Breaks, but I could easily see Elsa Calvo take this as well.</em></p><p><em>

</em></p><p>

<strong>The Princess & the Punk</strong> (Christy Higgins & Simony Sentinel) vs. Glorious Gloria & Helen Earth</p><p>

<em>I'm all in on the Princess & the Punk. Simple as that. </em><img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><em>

</em></p><p>

Three-Way Dance</p><p>

Selina Svelte vs. Sarah Taylor vs. <strong>Katherine Goodlooks</strong></p><p>

<em>I could be colored by Sincerenoble's AAA diary which seem very high on Katherine. I take a gamble and say she's coming out on top here, though I could easily see Svelte win too.</em></p><p><em>

</em></p><p>

Ellie May Walton vs. <strong>Amber Allen</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><em>Amber Allen is too good to lose here, right?</em></p><p> </p><p>

Main Card</p><p> </p><p>

AAA Tag Team Championship</p><p>

The Delicate Flowers (Kate Lilly & Debbie Rose) vs. <strong>Jaime Quine & Paige Croft</strong></p><p>

<em>I think the Delicate Flowers' scheme might have worked better if the tag team match was after the singles matches? I think the Delicate Flowers soften up Jaime and Paige, but don't get to reap the benefit themselves.</em></p><p><em>

</em></p><p>

Dog Collar Match</p><p>

<strong>Laura Flame</strong> vs. Suzanne Brazzle</p><p>

<em>The rising star of Laura Flame hits new highs? I think she's better suited to this kind of match, and it would be nice to see Laura get this kind of push. </em></p><p><em>

</em></p><p>

<strong>Devil's Daughter </strong>vs. Golden Delicious</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Not quite sure about the pacing in this story, but I don't think this is the payoff, and so let's keep building up Lilith's monster. Golden Delicious can take a loss, right?</em></p><p><em>

</em></p><p>

<strong>Tracey Brendon</strong> vs. Steffi Chee</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

AAA Top Contender's Championship</p><p>

<strong>Zoe Ammis</strong> vs. Foxxy LaRue</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Hard to see this being a clean finish, but I so desperately want to see Amiss with a belt.</em></p><p><em>

</em></p><p>

Nadia Snow vs. <strong>Demelza Wade</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Nadia fights clean, Demelza cheats to win, setting things up for a rematch at a later date? I might be thinking too far ahead...</em></p><p><em>

</em></p><p>

AAA Femme Fatale Championship</p><p>

Paige Croft vs. <strong>"The Queen of Mean" Steph Blake</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>While I think this is the moment to pass the title on to the next champion, narratively, it makes so much sense that Paige fails to overcome the odds, making Jaime's task look so much unachievable, which would make her win look so much more amazing. Since Blake is such a good champion, there is no hurry to transfer the belt even if the time would be perfect.</em></p><p><em>

</em></p><p>

Cage Match Main Event</p><p>

<strong>Jaime Quine</strong> vs. Cherry Bomb</p><p>

<em>I know how much you like Cherry (about as much as I do), but the point of building her up is that at the right moment, she can put someone like Jaime over. Is this the time? It might be too early, but I'll say yes anyway.</em></p><p><em>

</em></p><p>

Bonus Questions:</p><p> </p><p>

1. There are three AAA titles. How many titles will change at WoW? <strong>One. </strong><em>Could easily be all three, but let's be conservative.</em></p><p> </p><p>

2. A match grade of 60+ is an excellent match by AAA standards. How many matches at WoW will exceed that rating, if any? <em>I think this card looks excellent. It has potential to blow past events out of the water. I'll be gung ho and say</em> <strong>four.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

3. Which matches will exceed the 60+ rating, if any? I think this show has potential to blow the past out of the water. <em>I say all the last four matches:</em> <strong>Jaime Quine vs Cherry Bomb, Paige Croft vs Steph Blake, Nadia Snow vs Demelza Wade and Zoe Amiss vs Foxxy LaRue</strong>.</p><p> </p><p>

Tiebreaker - AAA's best attendance will occur at WoW. The previous high was 3,000. The Martin Centre can hold up to 4,000. The actual attendance is somewhere between those two figures. What will be the actual attendance for WoW 20? <strong>3600</strong></p>

<p>Ah, excited for this show! The card alone feels like it deserves the two-part treatment.</p><p> </p><p>

Pre-show</p><p> </p><p>

Five-Way Elimination Match</p><p>

<strong>Wendy Anderson</strong> vs. Ariel Breaks vs. Elsa Calvo vs. Bobbie McGee vs. Joanna Silver</p><p>

Comment: <em>Breaks is an interesting choice, as would Silver. If either of those two win, I can see a push coming for them. Outside of that, I think Anderson at least is serviceable, so she picks up a much needed win.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Princess & the Punk (Christy Higgins & Simony Sentinel)</strong> vs. Glorious Gloria & Helen Earth</p><p>

Comment: <em>The build of Higgins and Simony continues!</em></p><p> </p><p>

Three-Way Dance</p><p>

Selina Svelte vs. Sarah Taylor vs. <strong>Katherine Goodlooks</strong></p><p>

Comment: <em>This will probably be a lot better than anticipated. Goodlooks can go, and Selina is a nice foil for her. I could see Goodlooks moving into the Top Contender picture if Foxxy drops the belt here.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Ellie May Walton vs. <strong>Amber Allen</strong></p><p>

Comment: <em>I hope this turns out better than their encounter in DPW.</em> <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Main Card</p><p> </p><p>

AAA Tag Team Championship</p><p>

<strong>The Delicate Flowers (Kate Lilly & Debbie Rose)</strong> vs. Jaime Quine & Paige Croft</p><p>

Comment: <em>Going against the grain here, but I just feel like Quine and Paige don't need the titles. If they do retain, those would somehow have to fit into a storyline with Ammis and Blake, which I think might overcomplicate things. The belts on the Flowers also allows you to have another storyline down the card.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Dog Collar Match</p><p>

<strong>Laura Flame</strong> vs. Suzanne Brazzle</p><p>

Comment: <em>Hmmm, has Brazzle served her purpose? Did Flame get the awesome destiny roll? My instinct is to say Brazzle wins to set up a rematch, but this would be a big vote of confidence for Laura, and I think she's ready for the push.</em></p><p><em>

</em></p><p>

<strong>Devil's Daughter</strong> vs. Golden Delicious</p><p>

Comment: <em>Pretty confident in this pick, which means I'm probably wrong.</em> <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Tracey Brendon</strong> vs. Steffi Chee</p><p>

Comment: <em>Not a bad idea to keep Brendon with high momentum should you need to slide her in for an injured or poached worker.</em></p><p> </p><p>

AAA Top Contender's Championship</p><p>

Zoe Ammis vs. <strong>Foxxy LaRue</strong></p><p>

Comment: <em>Ah, I just can't see Ammis taking this. I don't think Foxxy is quite yet ready to move up to the main event scene, while Zoe will most likely be with Blake for the foreseeable future. My guess is that LaRue retains to continue her feud with Flame/Selina with Laura coming off her big win.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Nadia Snow</strong> vs. Demelza Wade</p><p>

Comment: <em>Hmmm, just personal preference here. Face wins, heel attacks post-match, feud continues?</em></p><p> </p><p>

AAA Femme Fatale Championship</p><p>

Paige Croft vs. <strong>"The Queen of Mean" Steph Blake</strong></p><p>

Comment: <em>I just...I just can't pick against Blake. As Dr_Avalanche mentioned, when Blake drops the title, it will be a big deal, and I think if Paige takes this, it gets overshadowed by Jaime's win in the main event. Of course, that might just be the plan. </em><img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Cage Match Main Event</p><p>

<strong>Jaime Quine</strong> vs. Cherry Bomb</p><p>

Comment: <em>A Quine in the main event of the biggest show of the year, go figure? </em><img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><em> This feels like the proper culmination of this feud, which has been built up brilliantly. The big shows need a face win to wrap the season up on a happy note, and Jaime topping Cherry once and for all sets her up as Blake's next challenger, which should be awesome.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Bonus Questions:</p><p> </p><p>

1. There are three AAA titles. How many titles will change at WoW? <strong>One</strong></p><p> </p><p>

3. Which matches will exceed the 60+ rating, if any? <strong>Jamie Quine vs. Cherry Bomb, Steph Blake vs Paige Croft, and Zoe Ammis vs Foxxy LaRue</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Tiebreaker - Let's go a nice and round <strong>3,200</strong></p>

Five-Way Elimination Match</p><p>

<strong>Wendy Anderson</strong> vs. Ariel Breaks vs. Elsa Calvo vs. Bobbie McGee vs. Joanna Silver</p><p>

Comment: <em>She's the veteran, and she's taken a bunch of losses. She's needs to get a win to be a worthwhile gatekeeper.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Princess & the Punk (Christy Higgins & Simony Sentinel)</strong> vs. Glorious Gloria & Helen Earth</p><p>

Comment: <em> Gloria's useless and Helen's old</em></p><p> </p><p>

Three-Way Dance</p><p>

Selina Svelte vs. Sarah Taylor vs. <strong>Katherine Goodlooks</strong></p><p>

Comment: <em>Katherine can be a solid talent, and the others aren't ready.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Ellie May Walton vs. <strong>Amber Allen</strong></p><p>

Comment: <em>Ellie is useless</em></p><p> </p><p>

Main Card</p><p> </p><p>

AAA Tag Team Championship</p><p>

<strong>The Delicate Flowers (Kate Lilly & Debbie Rose) </strong>vs. Jaime Quine & Paige Croft</p><p>

Comment: <em>I think the Flowers take the belts to feud with Princess and Punk, while Jaime and Paige move on. I could even see Paige using this as a catalyst for a heel turn to serve as Jaime's next program.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Dog Collar Match</p><p>

Laura Flame vs. <strong>Suzanne Brazzle</strong></p><p>

Comment: <em>I think Brazzle takes this, and uses the "it's been seven years" as a catalyst to feud with Blake.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Devil's Daughter</strong> vs. Golden Delicious</p><p>

Comment: <em>I like GD, but she's not really good enough to be more than midcard fodder to establish DD.</em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Tracey Brendon</strong> vs. Steffi Chee</p><p>

Comment: <em> Could go either way, but I think Brendan had better long term prospects.</em></p><p> </p><p>

AAA Top Contender's Championship</p><p>

Zoe Ammis vs. <strong>Foxxy LaRue</strong></p><p>

Comment: <em>Idon't think Foxxy should be losing so quickly, and Zoe's character won't be harmed by a loss.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Nadia Snow vs. <strong>Demelza Wade</strong></p><p>

Comment: <em> This feud has legs, but I think the heel needs to take the first one so Snow can chase.</em></p><p> </p><p>

AAA Femme Fatale Championship</p><p>

Paige Croft vs. <strong>"The Queen of Mean" Steph Blake</strong></p><p>

Comment: <em>Blake makes a good champion, and I think it's be better to have Jaime be the one to take the belt off of her. Especially if my insane Croft Heel Turn Theory (or CHT Theory, for short) had any bearing.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Cage Match Main Event</p><p>

<strong>Jaime Quine</strong> vs. Cherry Bomb</p><p>

Comment: <em>Jaime is the next big star, it's been a long feud, and it's the biggest show of the year. Surely she goes over the monster, then moves on to Blake.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Bonus Questions:</p><p> </p><p>

1. There are three AAA titles. How many titles will change at WoW? 1</p><p> </p><p>

2. A match grade of 60+ is an excellent match by AAA standards. How many matches at WoW will exceed that rating, if any? 2</p><p> </p><p>

3. Which matches will exceed the 60+ rating, if any? Jamie Quine vs. Cherry Bomb</p><p>

Paige Croft vs. Stephanie Blake</p><p> </p><p>

Tiebreaker - mrwolf is right above me, and he seems confident, so I'll guess <strong>3,201</strong></p>

Spokane, WA</p><p>

July 2, 2016</p><p> </p><p>

Pre-show</p><p> </p><p>

Five-Way Elimination Match</p><p>

Wendy Anderson vs. <strong>Ariel Breaks</strong> vs. Elsa Calvo vs. Bobbie McGee vs. Joanna Silver</p><p>

Comment: <strong>this is the type of match where you try and get someone started. I say it's time for Ariel to start to do something</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Princess & the Punk</strong> (Christy Higgins & Simony Sentinel) vs. Glorious Gloria & Helen Earth</p><p>

Comment: <strong>Who in the blue hell is Helen Earth?</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Three-Way Dance</p><p>

<strong>Selina Svelte</strong> vs. Sarah Taylor vs. Katherine Goodlooks</p><p>

Comment: <strong>It's the preshow so something could change but I think Selina comes out on top</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Ellie May Walton vs. <strong>Amber Allen</strong></p><p>

Comment: <strong>Ellie May might be strong, but "you can't wrestle"</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Main Card</p><p> </p><p>

AAA Tag Team Championship</p><p>

The Delicate Flowers (Kate Lilly & Debbie Rose) vs. <strong>Jaime Quine & Paige Croft</strong></p><p>

Comment: [bMatch placement here is the key in my thinking. If this happened after the singles matches I would go with the challengers, but since it's first I'll take the current champs. In the long run it could be more interesting with Jamie and Paige being champs and then someone turning to fuel a singles feud [/b]</p><p> </p><p>

Dog Collar Match</p><p>

Laura Flame vs. <strong>Suzanne Brazzle</strong></p><p>

Comment: <strong>I would like to see youth served here but I think Brazzel will come out with the win</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Devil's Daughter</strong> vs. Golden Delicious</p><p>

Comment: <strong>Lilith's might needs the win to continue to build some mo, GD has no mo and will serve the purpose here</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Tracey Brendon</strong> vs. Steffi Chee</p><p>

Comment: <strong>Brendon has some momentum will Chee hasn't done much. It would be kind of a cold start to have Chee win at the biggest show of the year.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

AAA Top Contender's Championship</p><p>

<strong>Zoe Ammis</strong> vs. Foxxy LaRue</p><p>

Comment: <strong>I think it's time for a change and this would add a story twist</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Nadia Snow vs. <strong>Demelza Wade</strong> </p><p>

Comment: <strong>Honestly this is a toss up in my mind, but in my booking strat the heel always gets the upper hand allowing the face to chase and eventually get revenge. But who in the long run will win the feud?</strong></p><p> </p><p>

AAA Femme Fatale Championship</p><p>

Paige Croft vs. "<strong>The Queen of Mean" Steph Blake</strong></p><p>

Comment: <strong>I think it was originally thought that Steph would be a transitional champ, but I think she might have changed some minds. I believe the real money is in Steph winning and then taking on Jamie who would eventually get the title and then feud with a jealous Paige. Money!</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Cage Match Main Event</p><p>

<strong>Jaime Quine</strong> vs. Cherry Bomb</p><p>

Comment: <strong>Long build towards this match has had Cherry with the upper hand on her much younger challenger. But youth must be served and Jamie is ready to slay the monster</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Bonus Questions:</p><p> </p><p>

1. There are three AAA titles. How many titles will change at WoW? <strong>1</strong></p><p> </p><p>

2. A match grade of 60+ is an excellent match by AAA standards. How many matches at WoW will exceed that rating, if any? <strong>2</strong></p><p> </p><p>

3. Which matches will exceed the 60+ rating, if any? <strong>Jamie Quine vs. Cherry Bomb, Paige Croft vs. Steph Blake, </strong></p><p> </p><p>

Tiebreaker - AAA's best attendance will occur at WoW. The previous high was 3,000. The Martin Centre can hold up to 4,000. The actual attendance is somewhere between those two figures. What will be the actual attendance for WoW 20? <strong>3468</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Hey folks - I've not abandoned this diary. Have had both a major injury, and my work has been beyond busy. That should quiet down in two weeks or so. Sorry to leave you with such a cliffhanger - but I'll do everything I can to make Women of Wrestling worth the wait!

<p><em>Primarily for variety (and giggles) I have decided to take off my promoter/booker hat for this one and just be a fan again! Please note the slightly aggrieved tone I've taken here is not a real reflection on my views of this superbly booked product.</em></p><p> </p><p>

AAA presents Women of Wrestling 20</p><p>

Charlotte Y. Martin Centre</p><p>

Spokane, WA</p><p>

July 2, 2016</p><p> </p><p>

Pre-show</p><p> </p><p>

Five-Way Elimination Match</p><p>

Wendy Anderson vs. Ariel Breaks vs. Elsa Calvo vs. Bobbie McGee vs. <strong>Joanna Silver</strong></p><p>

<em>Joanna Silver should be given whatever she wants. The AAA Femme Fatale Championship, my email address, a portable pirate ship to make her way to the ring! The head says Ariel Breaks but I am only voting with my heart today.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Princess & the Punk (Christy Higgins & Simony Sentinel)</strong> vs. Glorious Gloria & Helen Earth</p><p>

<em>Simony Sentinel could beat (not so) Glorious Gloria and Helen Earth by herself.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Three-Way Dance</p><p>

<strong>Selina Svelte</strong> vs. Sarah Taylor vs. Katherine Goodlooks</p><p>

<em>I feel as though Selina Svelte would treat me horrendously in a relationship and that a part of me (not as small as I'd like either) would like it.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Ellie May Walton vs. <strong>Amber Allen</strong></p><p>

<em>Putting Amber Allen on the pre-show is an affront not just to her but to me!</em></p><p> </p><p>

Main Card</p><p> </p><p>

AAA Tag Team Championship</p><p>

The Delicate Flowers (Kate Lilly & Debbie Rose) vs. <strong>Jaime Quine & Paige Croft</strong></p><p>

<em>I have made a conscious decision to never, ever bet against Paige Croft. This is my version of being one of those weird, creepy, internet fans.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Dog Collar Match</p><p>

<strong>Laura Flame</strong> vs. Suzanne Brazzle</p><p>

<em>Laura Flame is on the rise and Brazzle is not the woman to starve this inferno of oxygen.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Devil's Daughter</strong> vs. Golden Delicious</p><p>

<em>My inner goth has never seen much daylight (or should that be moonlight). This is his chance.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Tracey Brendon</strong> vs. Steffi Chee</p><p>

<em>I'm not super invested in this one but will cheer for Brendon.</em></p><p> </p><p>

AAA Top Contender's Championship</p><p>

<strong>Zoe Ammis</strong> vs. Foxxy LaRue</p><p>

<em>I don't like Foxxy LaRue and I hope her push ends in failure, that she's released and she winds up in a career that she hates.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Nadia Snow</strong> vs. Demelza Wade</p><p>

<em>I do like Nadia Snow and I hope her push is a raging success.</em></p><p> </p><p>

AAA Femme Fatale Championship</p><p>

<strong>Paige Croft</strong> vs. "The Queen of Mean" Steph Blake</p><p>

<em>As above, I have decided to always back Paige.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Cage Match Main Event</p><p>

Jaime Quine vs. <strong>Cherry Bomb</strong></p><p>

<em>I'm not a HUGE Cherry Bomb guy. In a cage I can see her causing carnage though and who couldn't get behind that.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Bonus Questions:</p><p> </p><p>

1. There are three AAA titles. How many titles will change at WoW?</p><p>

<em>I think I'm hoping for two.</em></p><p> </p><p>

2. A match grade of 60+ is an excellent match by AAA standards. How many matches at WoW will exceed that rating, if any?</p><p>

<em>I'm torn between 3 and 4 and will err on the side of optimism and say 4.</em></p><p> </p><p>

3. Which matches will exceed the 60+ rating, if any?</p><p>

<em>The last 4 billed.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Tiebreaker - AAA's best attendance will occur at WoW. The previous high was 3,000. The Martin Centre can hold up to 4,000. The actual attendance is somewhere between those two figures. What will be the actual attendance for WoW 20?</p><p>

But the dream was not hers alone. For years, women’s wrestling was ignored. Unappreciated. Or simply couldn’t be found at all. The major companies said women’s wrestling wasn’t a draw.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i.imgur.com/BeiN87e.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/31bbTV3.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/cW8ziyP.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/kEkUwNO.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Camcorder footage from the mid-1990s plays, of AAA in a clearly third-hand ring, wrestling in elementary school gymnasiums, at community fairs, in bingo halls, in VFWs, for crowds of maybe 50 people. Anne Stardust is one of the workers seen, as are Black Widow, Belle “Wanda Fish” Bryden, Farrah Heskath, and a fresh-faced Cat Quine. “Revolutions happen when people say things cannot be any way but the way they are...but other people know things not only could be different, but </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>should</em></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> be different. In 1996, Anne Stardust announced she was opening the first all-women’s promotion in North America, the Angel Athletic Association. The industry considered it a huge mistake. There weren’t even trained wrestlers who could be part of the show, much less wrestlers anyone wanted to see. It was a pipe dream. It was a publicity stunt. It wouldn’t last more than a year before going out of business.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> More camcorder footage. The crowds are now a few hundred people. “Anne Stardust and the women of AAA knew better. When the first year ended, and Women of Wrestling 2 came around, the women of AAA knew they had shown the world that the revolution was real.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Anne Stardust is in the center of the ring, at the conclusion of WoW 2. She’s sweaty, out of breath, but clearly elated. “They said...we couldn’t do it! That we...were a sideshow! Well...we showed them, huh? Each and every one of you, we all showed them that there is not only demand for women’s wrestling, but a need! And all of you, our Angels! </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>You</em></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> showed them!” The crowd of a few hundred pops and chants “A-A-A! A-A-A!”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i.imgur.com/4WuhyP5.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> The camera footage gets slightly better, though still recorded on amateur equipment. “Over the years, AAA has hosted the very best of women’s wrestling.” The screen shows an 18-year old Sara Marie York walking through a cheaply made curtain, clearly overwhelmed by the moment. “And coming to the ring, our newest Angel, she is - Sara Marie York!” </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Belle “Wanda Fish” Bryden holds the Femme Fatale title aloft. Jim Lou Freebush’s voice makes the call. “She’s done it! She’s done it! Wanda Fish is your new AAA Femme Fatale Champion!”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Cat’s voice-over continues. “The best of women’s wrestling, from all over the world.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i.imgur.com/CjtrQWG.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Another old clip, another Freebush call, this time of Crusher Ichihara winning the Femme Fatale title belt. “And what a match! Anyway, looks like we’re about to hear from AAA’s general manager, Cat Jemson. Suppose I shouldn’t be too surprised she’d want the very first spotlight tonight.”</p><p> </p><p> <div style="border: solid 5px #7A378B;"></p><p> </p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>In the ring at AAA Women of Wrestling 20</em></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i.imgur.com/2grrL5B.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Cat Jemson wears a beautiful AAA-purple gown that is enormously out of place in the center of a wrestling ring. She wears it well - there’s no doubt she was, and still occasionally is, a model. The AAA crowd, however, does not seem to appreciate Jemson’s couture - or, more likely, they do not appreciate the woman wearing the couture. Jemson gives a mocking beauty pageant wave to the booing fans.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> “Good evening, Angels,” Jemson sneers. The crowd responds with similar vitriol. “Tonight is going to be the greatest show in the 20-year history of AAA. And do you know why? </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>Moi</em></div><div style="margin-left:25px;">. Oh, boo all you want now, but at the end of the night, you’ll be thanking me for putting together this show. It’s no coincidence this show only happened once the AAA Board of Directors wisely chose to make me general manager! You know it’s true!” True or not, the fans voice their displeasure. “Anyway, let’s talk about two women who have yet to understand or appreciate how important I am to this company. Let’s talk about Jaime Quine and Paige Croft.” The crowd cheers, and Jemson rolls her eyes. “Jaime Quine and Paige Croft seem to think they get to make the rules around here. They are wrong. </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>I</em></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> make the rules around here, I decide who gets what, I decide who fights who! </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Me!</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> But Jaime and Paige, they’re ambitious. Or maybe, it’s better said, they’re glory hogs,” Jemson states, seemingly without any trace of self-awareness. “Well, ladies, you know what they say - be careful what you wish for, you might just get it.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Jemson chuckles to herself. “That’s right, Jaime! That’s right, Paige! You want to be the center of attention? Fine! You’re not just getting one match at the biggest show of the year, you’re both getting two! How do ya like that, huh?” The crowd boos the obvious unfairness. “Why are you booing me? I didn’t force Jaime and Paige to accept the Delicate Flowers’ open challenge for the Tag Team titles! They made that decision themselves, after they already had matches scheduled for Women of Wrestling! What, was I supposed to not have a Tag Team title match on our biggest show of the year? Lilly tries to match Croft in technical wrestling, but good as Lilly is, Croft may be the best mat worker in AAA. Croft ties Lilly into knots, and almost seems like she’s having fun out there. Croft doesn’t smile - it's not clear that she even knows how to smile - but she does seem to have a light in her eye as she outmaneuvers her opponent. That light is dimmed, however, when Lilly decides to simply cold-cock Croft in the jaw with a right hand, which lets Lilly take the advantage. Lilly uses her size advantage and her wealth of tag team knowledge to cut the ring in half, and the Delicate Flowers begin to take over.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Following their championship-winning blueprint of quick tags, technically legal double-teaming, and keeping spatial control of the ring, Lilly and Rose take control of the match. On several occasions, Croft seems like she’s about to make the tag to Jaime, but the Flowers manage to pull her back at the last second. Finally, after three close calls, Croft is able to reverse Debbie Rose’s attempt to hold her back with an enziguri. Rose only goes to a single knee, but it’s enough breathing room for Croft to make the tag to Jaime Quine.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> To the cheering of the crowd, Quine comes into the ring like a house on fire. She back body drops Rose, then a charging Lilly, and then armdrags them one at a time when they try to charge on her again. Lilly and Rose take a moment on the outside, trying to break Quine’s momentum, while Quine yells for them to get back into the ring. The Flowers, however, instead use the ten count to huddle together and plan strategy. On the eight count, Rose gets back into the ring, taking her sweet time to do so. Quine tries to charge when Rose gets on the apron, but the ref holds her back since Rose is in the ropes. This causes Rose to take her time even more before entering, further frustrating Quine.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Rose gets into the ring and locks up with Quine. Rose pulls Quine into the ropes, causing the ref to try and break them up. Lilly uses the distraction to loosen the top turnbuckle. Rose lets go of the clinch as soon as she sees Lilly has finished loosening the pad. Rose backs into her corner, and Quine decides to tag Croft in. Croft comes into the ring and locks up with Rose. Rose manages to back the smaller Croft into the Delicate Flowers’ corner. With the ref’s line of sight blocked, Lilly removes the turnbuckle pad. Rose thumbs Croft in the eye, and tries to ram Croft headfirst into the exposed turnbuckle. Croft, with a solid jerk of her neck, stops Rose from doing so. Croft grabs the disbelieving Lilly by the hair and slams her head into the exposed turnbuckle, sending Lilly to the arena floor. Rose tries again, but Croft drops and sweeps Rose’s legs. Dog collar matches see the two competitors chained together by the neck, and anything goes in a match like this. No disqualifications, no countouts. You can use the chain however you want, and believe me, I’ve seen some creative and devastating uses in my career. This is the kind of match you hope both competitors will be able to stand when it’s all said and done. Even more so in a situation like this, as personal as things have gotten.”</p><p> </p><p> “That’s right, Cat,” says Freebush. “This match happened as a result of a backstage altercation at our previous show, <a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2216969&postcount=142" rel="external nofollow">Lass Frontier II</a>, two weeks ago. Laura Flame demands respect, but has none for Suzanne Brazzle. Brazzle says that if Flame wants respect, she’ll have to earn it. Flame calls over to Brazzle. “This is your last chance, granny! Forfeit this one, so I don’t have to break your hip!” Brazzle doesn’t respond, keeping her eyes laser focused on Flame. Once the collars are secure, both women stalk to the middle of the ring. Referee Dwight Kumas steps between the two, separating them so he can explain the rules one last time. Both women nod their heads, never breaking eye contact. Kumas steps out of the way, the bell rings, and immediately the two women start trading blows. “This may not be the best strategy for the Miracle Blonde, Jim,” says Cat Quine. “Brazzle’s tough, but Flame’s a certified kickboxing instructor. If this becomes a striking match, Flame most likely has the advantage.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Cat’s comments prove prescient as Flame begins firing swift kicks to Brazzle’s legs, taking Brazzle to her knees as if she were felling a tree. With Brazzle down, Flame grabs a length of chain and whips it across Brazzle’s back with a sickening thud. The crowd sucks a breath of air in, while Flame takes another shot with the chain across Brazzle’s back. Brazzle winces in pain as Flame gets in Brazzle’s face. “I warned you! You should have listened to me, old woman!” But a sudden double-leg takedown from Brazzle suggests that Flame got suckered in by the wily veteran, who uses the sudden reversal to land several shots to the now-prone Laura Flame.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Flame’s able to get her hands up, and finally rolls completely out of the ring, yanking the chain to pull Brazzle out with her. Brazzle sets up into a baseball slide, turning Flame’s attempt to get the upper hand around on her. Out on the mats surrounding the ring, Brazzle sends Flame headfirst into the guardrails. Flame tries to stumble away and put some space between them, but Brazzle yanks the chain and sends Flame running back toward her - directly into a snap powerslam. Bodies hit the floor with a muffled “whomp”, and a cheer from the crowd. The powerslam seems to have taken a lot out of Brazzle, who gets up to her feet unsteadily. She tries to pull Flame up by the chain, but Flame’s dead weight at this point. Brazzle bends to pick Flame up, but it turns out Flame’s got a few tricks of her own. As soon as Brazzle bends, Flame pushes Brazzle, sending the crown of Brazzle’s head into the barricade. The sound of metal hitting skull is loud enough to be heard over the buzz of the crowd. To the booing of the crowd, Flame stands up, looking immensely pleased with herself, pointing to her head and yelling, “Two can play that game, grandma!”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Flame manages to pull Brazzle up and rolls her into the ring. Flame makes the cover and gets a 2 and a half before Brazzle’s right shoulder shoots up. Flame goes for another cover and gets only 2, and a third cover attempt gets 2 as well. After the third attempt, Flame stands up and starts arguing with the ref over his count. Brazzle, seeing an opening, grabs a length of chain and smacks Flame across the left knee. Flame, caught off guard, immediately drops to one knee, and Brazzle chop blocks Flame’s other knee to send her sprawling to the mat. Brazzle then takes the chain and lands several more chain strikes on Flame’s left knee, causing the young upstart to cry out and grab at her knee. “This is excellent strategy on Brazzle’s part,” notes Cat Quine. “Flame’s secret weapon is that Flame Fire Kick that can come out of nowhere and boom, lights out. Flame uses her right leg as the striking leg, but she has to plant with her left. If Brazzle can take out Flame’s left leg, she’ll take out Flame’s go-to match ender!”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Brazzle, veteran that she is, keeps the pressure up by putting Flame in a figure-four leg lock. Flame immediately sits up and tries desperately to punch at Brazzle’s legs to untangle the two of them, but cannot reach. She lays back and the referee gets a 1 and a half count before Flame realizes she’s in a pinning predicament and lifts her shoulders up. In desperation, Flame grabs the length of chain and slings it over the top rope. She begins pulling on the chain, which works as a kind of pulley, choking Brazzle. Brazzle, legs tied up with Flame as it is, isn’t able to release the hold quickly. Flame lets go of the chain, and both women slump to the mat, to the applause of an appreciative audience.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Flame stirs first, using the ring ropes as leverage to pull herself up. Panting, she pulls Brazzle up to her feet. Both women have wobbly legs, but Flame has enough presence of mind to taunt Brazzle once again. She yells, “Say goodnight, grandma!” and sets up for the Flame Fire Kick. However, with the damage to her legs, the kick is both wide and slow - slow enough for Brazzle to wrap a length of chain around Flame’s outstretched right leg. Flame immediately puts her hands up, hopping on one bad leg, until Brazzle kicks Flame’s leg out from under her. With Flame’s right leg still wrapped in chain, Brazzle uses the extra leverage it provides to score a three count and end the match. </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>(Suzanne Brazzle defeated Laura Flame in a Dog Collar match in 9:31 by pinfall. She’s already been in an I Quit match this year, and now, a dog collar match - and she’s won both. You can’t do that if you’re too old to still go. Suzanne proved tonight she’s still got plenty of miles left before she hangs up her boots. But let me give credit where credit’s due to Laura Flame. I think her arrogance got the best of her, and she wasn’t able to adjust to having her main weapon taken away from her. Even still, she beat the everliving heck out of Suzanne Brazzle. DD cinches in the hold, dropping GD to her knees. Lilith cackles with delight, to which GD responds by spitting at her. Lilith steps away and it misses her, but the gesture causes DD to break the hammerlock and start wildly swinging at the back of GD’s head. However, DD is too wild, which allows GD to get back to her feet and start throwing hands of her own. The two women trade blows back and forth, until DD lands a vicious knife-edge chop on GD that echoes through the Martin Centre. DD backs GD into the corner and unleashes three more chops, and then climbs the turnbuckle to rain punches down on GD. The referee orders her to do so several times, but it is not until Lilith says, “Release her,” that DD finally breaks the hold. DD kicks Golden Delicious several times as the referees pull her out of the ring, hissing at them for spoiling her fun. Lilith speaks again. “And so, the first defender falls to one of my children. Oh yes, sons and daughters of Eve. Devil’s Daughter is but one of my children. There are others. There are others who have looked into the abyss, and found themselves within it! There are other children, other rough beasts that slouch towards Bethlehem. The best part is...they are already among you. Oh, yes. There are others who are ready to move beyond good and evil! But…” Lilith draws the word out, then darkly chuckles to herself, “I won’t be telling you who they are. Suffice it to say, you do not know the day or hour when all shall be revealed. Know only this: The monsters are coming. And neither Heaven nor Hell can stop us.” With the “The Killing Moon” playing, Lilith laughs to herself before leaving the ring with what is, apparently, only the first of her children. </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>(Angle Rating - 45)</em></div></div><p> </p><p> “Cat, Lilith’s talked about her ‘other children’ before now, but now we have clear proof that Lilith does intend on adding to her, well, I suppose ‘family’.”</p><p> </p><p> “It does appear, unfortunately, that is the case,” agrees Cat. “But I think the most disturbing part, at least for me, is that Lilith claims these ‘other children’ are already amongst us. I don’t put it past Lilith to lie to us, just to watch us stew in our own paranoia and fear. But honestly? That would be the best outcome, if she were lying. The scary part for me is if she <em>is</em> telling the truth.”</p><p> </p><p> “Disturbing either way,” says Freebush. He takes a deep breath, and then continues. “Let’s move on to our next match of the evening. We’ve got AAA Hall of Famer Tracey Brendon taking on the world-travelled veteran Steffi Chee. Frankly, far as I’m concerned, it’ll be the perfect palette cleanser after Lilith’s warnings...or threats, really.”</p><p> </p><p> <div style="border: solid 5px #000000;"></p><p> </p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i.imgur.com/yitWntj.jpg</span><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>vs.</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><span>http://i.imgur.com/57sF3YA.jpg</span><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Steffi Chee vs. Tracey Brendon</strong></div></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Tracey Brendon comes out focused but aggressive in this contest, while it becomes clear that Steffi Chee’s decided to play a more defensive game. The flow of the match is such that it becomes clear that Chee’s looking for Brendon to make a mistake, allowing Chee to lock her figure-four headlock submission, the Omerta. It’s not a bad strategy, but for all the power and strength of Brendon’s attack, it’s also fairly crisp and clean. Though Chee does manage to hit a few reversals, Brendon remains in control for most of the match, ending the match with a spine-crushing </div><div class="ipsEmbeddedVideo"><div><iframe width="200" height="113" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/DGZkVZf9zfU?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" title="Running Powerslam- British Bulldog (Finisher)"></iframe></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;">. Instead, Tracey tossed her around like a sack of Idaho potatoes. Solid win for Tracey Brendon. A statement victory, and that statement was poor Steffi Chee's spine smacking the canvas.” Cat’s analysis is interrupted by the off-kilter rhythms of Zoe Ammis’ music, " </p><div class="ipsEmbeddedVideo"><div><iframe width="200" height="150" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/4602M6yj2-8?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" title="Architecture in Helsinki - Heart it Races [OFFICIAL AUDIO]"></iframe></div></div>". “That would signal Zoe Ammis’ entrance and...aw, son of a gun. Finally, she climbs onto the ring apron and looks like she’s going to get in the ring...but instead, she simply freezes, then teases getting out of/getting into the ring half a dozen times. Thoroughly pleased with herself, Ammis finally gets into the ring and sits on the top turnbuckle, on side of the ring opposite the aisleway.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> “Good evening, ladles and germs, and welcome to the biggest night of the year - the night when Zoe Ammis becomes Top Contender champion. <p>AAA Women of Wrestling, Part II - July 2, 2016</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><em>Last time on AAA Women of Wrestling 20…</em></strong></p><p> </p><p>

After a highlight video of the past 20 years of AAA, Paige Croft and Jaime Quine successfully defended their Tag Team Championships against the Delicate Flowers. Both women have a second match later in the evening and Paige Croft appears to be both kayfabe and shoot injured. Suzanne Brazzle used a bit of ingenuity and veteran smarts to overcome the fury of Laura Flame in a brutal dog collar match. A chill invaded the arena as “The Mother of Monsters”, the mysterious Lilith, led her “child” Devil’s Daughter to victory over Golden Delicious. Afterwards, Lilith promised to introduce her other children - who already walk amongst the AAA roster - soon. Tracey Brendon convincingly defeated the wily but physically overmatched veteran Steffi Chee. And Zoe Ammis was, as usual, incredibly obnoxious. And now, the conclusion of AAA’s biggest show of the year, Women of Wrestling 20…</p><p> </p><p>

Zoe Ammis' taunting of the crowd comes to an end as a familiar voice is heard over the PA system. “Spokane, Washington! What’s up? Y’all know who it is! I am your AAA Top Contender’s Champion! That’s right. It’s Foxxy, baby!”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The crowd cheers as Foxxy LaRue, AAA’s Top Contender’s Champion, has

</div><div class="ipsEmbeddedVideo"><div><iframe width="200" height="113" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/OjpRDmXoyMk?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" title="WWE:"></iframe></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> hit - particularly since it silences the Hateful Harlequin, Zoe Ammis. Foxxy, title belt around her waist, emerges to the cheers of Angels. She pauses to soak in the moment, wide smile on her face, and then speaks to the fans as she heads toward the ring.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Aww, y’all gonna make Foxxy cry! You better believe Foxxy is just a big of fan of y’all, as y’all are of Foxxy. I’ve only been here </div><a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2206353&postcount=71" rel="external nofollow"></a><div style="margin-left:25px;"><a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2206353&postcount=71" rel="external nofollow">a few months</a></div><a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2206353&postcount=71" rel="external nofollow"></a><div style="margin-left:25px;">, it’s true, but y’all have made Foxxy feel right at home. Like part of the family. I mean, not like my actual family, because y’all don’t pull my hair and make my daddy pull the car over to tell us to knock it off, but pretty close.” The crowd laughs along with Foxxy. “Speaking of people who act like children - badly behaved children - let’s talk about Zoe Ammis.” The crowd boos at the mention of her name. “Y’all ain’t wrong, y’all ain’t wrong ‘bout that. I mean, seriously, just ‘bout every girl goes through her ‘princess’ stage at some point or another, but you’re supposed to grow out of that, girl! But hey, Zoe Ammis is the poster child for arrested development, right? Here’s the problem with that - Zoe Ammis, you might act like a girl spoiled rotten, but you about to step into the ring with a </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>woman</em></div><div style="margin-left:25px;">. Playtime’s over, little girl. Time to pack your toys away, ‘cause Foxxy is gonna put you to bed. And you best believe Foxxy, </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>believe</em></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> me child - Foxxy ain’t got no problem making you do so.” </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>(Angle Rating - 64)</em></div><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">AAA Top Contender’s Championship Match</span></strong></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><span>http://i.imgur.com/ETEkY6f.jpg</span><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><span>http://i.imgur.com/RkMOrtI.jpg</span><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>vs.</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><span>http://i.imgur.com/gVkOI5G.jpg</span><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Zoe Ammis vs. Foxxy LaRue (champion)</strong></div></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The champion and the challenger meet in the center of the ring. Zoe Ammis is already running her mouth, even as referee Dwight Kumas is showing the belt to both competitors. Foxxy is more than happy to retort, which ends in Ammis slapping Foxxy across the face. Foxxy nods her head, and then punches Ammis right in the mouth, and the match is on.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Ammis’ usual technique for getting into the heads of her opponents - namely, </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>never</em></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> shutting up - appears to be backfiring against Foxxy. Particularly after the blatant disrespect shown by Ammis’ slap, Foxxy is - to put it mildly - not pleased. Foxxy fights better angry, and there’s not many people in AAA better suited to a back alley brawl than Foxxy LaRue. Foxxy starts beating the tar out of Zoe Ammis with a flurry of punches, kicks, and stomps, to the delight of the crowd. Ammis even tries to ask Foxxy for a timeout, which makes Foxxy laugh before Foxxy lands another series of punches on the Hateful Harlequin. Crumbling under the barrage, Ammis makes the smart play by rolling to the outside to regroup.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

After sliding back into the ring - keeping a very careful eye on Foxxy as she does - Ammis seems to have decided trying to throw hands with Foxxy LaRue is a losing strategy. Instead, Ammis starts relying on her agility to keep out of Foxxy’s range, waiting for Foxxy to overcommit. The moment Foxxy does, Ammis springs on the opening, turning the tide of the battle. Foxxy’s irrepressible fighting spirit, however, means that Ammis has to keep the pressure up or risk Foxxy coming right back. Ammis, to her credit, strings together a series of chain wrestling moves designed to keep Foxxy off her feet, robbing Foxxy of her vertical base and taking away the ferocious brawling that helped Foxxy win the Top Contender’s belt on her very first night in AAA. But as soon as Ammis slackens the pace just a little bit, Foxxy regains the momentum.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Foxxy shows off a few power moves, clearly rattling Ammis. With Ammis slowly stirring, Foxxy sets up for her Flash Head Kick sick kick. As the crowd cheers, Foxxy gestures for Ammis to sit up. The moment Ammis is in position, Foxxy launches herself across the ring. It turns out, however, that Ammis was playing possum. When Foxxy goes for the kick, Ammis falls to the ground, ducking under it. Quickly, Ammis reaches up and goes for a schoolgirl pin. With the referee focused on Foxxy’s shoulders, Ammis grabs a huge handful of Foxxy’s tights. Foxxy manages to break the pin, but a moment too late. The referee signals for the bell, declaring Zoe Ammis the winner. </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>(Zoe Ammis defeated Foxxy LaRue in 9:27 by pinfall with a handful of tights. Zoe Ammis wins the AAA Top Contender's title. Match rating - 60.)</em></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">WINNER, BY PINFALL, AND NEW AAA TOP CONTENDER’S CHAMPION: ZOE AMMIS</span></strong></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i.imgur.com/RkMOrtI.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

When the bell rings, Zoe Ammis immediately starts jumping for joy and literally squeeing with delight as

</div><div class="ipsEmbeddedVideo"><div><iframe width="200" height="150" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/4602M6yj2-8?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" title="Architecture in Helsinki - Heart it Races [OFFICIAL AUDIO]"></iframe></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> plays. The crowd, aware of the underhanded means by which Ammis took the victory, is heavily booing Ammis. Ammis, of course, either does not know or - more likely - does not care what the crowd thinks. The referee hands her the Top Contender’s title belt, which Ammis hugs while continuing to jump up and down. “For the love of…” Cat Quine trails off, before resuming with indignation in her voice. “There was no question, absolutely no question whatsoever, that Zoe Ammis had a handful of tights there. She’s acting like she earned this victory, when all she did was cheat and not get caught!”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“That may be true,” Freebush notes, “but since the referee didn’t see it, that means Zoe Ammis is the new AAA Top Contender’s champion. This begins Zoe Ammis’ third reign as Top Contender champion, tying an AAA record number of reigns as Top Contender. The other three-time champion is, of course, your sister Jaime Quine.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i.imgur.com/gVkOI5G.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Ugh,” Cat responds. “I would say I hope Zoe Ammis feels proud of herself, but I don’t think there’s any doubt that she is, in actual fact, incredibly proud of herself. Oh, now, wait a minute here,” Cat says as a furious Foxxy LaRue gets to her feet behind the oblivious Zoe Ammis. Foxxy taps Ammis on the shoulder, and Ammis turns around, clearly not thinking through the implications. As soon as Ammis turns to face Foxxy, Foxxy lands a straight right hand on Ammis' jaw. Ammis crumples to the ground. Ammis’ music stops as Foxxy LaRue picks up the Top Contender title belt from the laid-out Zoe Ammis. Foxxy holds the Top Contender title belt aloft, and the crowd cheers who they believe should still be the rightful champion. Foxxy drapes the belt over the still-stunned Ammis, and Foxxy’s music plays as she leaves the ring with a moral victory, but not the belt. </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>(Angle Rating - 38)</em></div></div><p> </p><p>

“It couldn’t have happened to a nicer person,” Cat says as Zoe Ammis gets up on wobbly legs, far less happy than she was before getting flattened. Ammis leaves with her arms in the air - when she’s not stumbling for balance. “You have to imagine that Foxxy LaRue is going to invoke her rematch clause as soon as possible. And she has every right to do so, especially considering the unfair circumstances under which the belt was taken.”</p><p> </p><p>

“To segue,” says Freebush, “we’ve got a camera backstage, and Jaime Quine has a few things she’d like to say about Cherry Bomb. We’ll take you back there now.”</p><p> </p><p>

<div style="border: solid 5px #7A378B;"></p><p>

</p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>In a locker room backstage at Women of Wrestling 20</em></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i.imgur.com/5Auj7Hh.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Jaime Quine sits on a bench, deep in thought. She looks to the camera, and speaks. “My sister, Cat Quine, wrestled at the very first Women of Wrestling. For 20 years, there’s been a Quine at this show. I don’t take that for granted. I don’t take the legacy my sister trail blazed - not only for me, but for every woman competing tonight. And it’s not just Cat’s legacy. Not even just the women in the AAA Hall of Fame. </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>Every</em></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> woman that has stepped between the ropes and competed, they’ve all lead us to this day. To be part of that legacy? It’s an incredible honor, and I thank every woman who came before me, and those continue to get into the ring to be my co-workers, be my friends...and be my rivals. Yes, even those who I disagree with, who rub me the wrong way, I’m thankful for them. I’m thankful for the opportunity to learn from defeat, to grow, and - if I work hard and have a little bit of luck - to overcome their challenges.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Cherry Bomb is a part of that legacy, and I respect that. Cherry claims I don’t respect her. Nothing could be further from the truth. I respect what she’s done. But respect is different than deference. Respect is different than cowering in fear. Respect does not mean laying down for someone. In fact, </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>because</em></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> I respect you, Cherry, I will </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>never</em></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> back down. “You and me, Cherry. In that cage tonight, it’s just you and me. There’s only room for the two of us. No room for excuses. No disqualifications. No count outs. “I gotta say, I’m really proud of her,” says Cat Quine, with a smile.</p><p> </p><p>

“Jaime Quine faces the fury of Cherry Bomb in a cage later tonight, and that should be amazing,” shills Freebush. “But speaking of respect, or the lack thereof, our next match is what happens when two best friends become bitter enemies. For 7 years, the A-List proved to be the most enduring power duo in AAA. This year, however, showed the foundation of that friendship was weaker than we thought. Tonight, Nadia Snow and Demelza Wade face off, each woman intending to prove that they are the true A-Lister in AAA. If you haven’t been watching - and if not, we’re glad you’re with us now - here’s a video to get you up to speed.”</p><p> </p><p>

A video package edits a history of the A-List, starting with their haughty AAA debut in 2009, declaring they were the only “true celebrities” in AAA. The clips then cut between the A-List in action, emphasizing their impeccable, almost psychic, synchronization, showing the A-List’s ability to cheat without getting caught, and the A-List - with manager Cat Jemson - holding championship gold aloft. The video then shows Snow and Wade </div><a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2202937&postcount=31" rel="external nofollow"></a><div style="margin-left:25px;"><a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2202937&postcount=31" rel="external nofollow">arguing about</a></div><a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2202937&postcount=31" rel="external nofollow"></a><div style="margin-left:25px;"> who gets to pin J-Ro and win the Femme Fatale title, Jemson being named General Manager, the A-List suddenly becoming secondary in Jemson’s eyes compared to Blake and Ammis, and finally Jemson only letting one of the two get a title shot. Demelza Wade, ring gear on and ready to go, has a few words left to say before the match begins. “Nadia, Nadia, Nadia. What </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>have</em></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> you done? I’ll tell you what you’ve done - you’ve lost your meal ticket! Come on, Nadia, let’s be real here. You’ve been riding on my coattails for 7 long years. Let’s face it. I’ve always been the real superstar. You’ve been - at best - a supporting actress. You don’t even deserve billing in the opening credits. For way too long, I’ve let you have all of the perks of being an A-Lister, without you contributing like an A-Lister. Face facts, Nadia. I’ve been a Femme Fatale champion, and you haven’t. You know why? </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>You’re simply not good enough.</em></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> When you decided to stick up for that no-name Katherine Goodlooks, when you decided you could sneak attack me? You sealed your own fate. You took the first step to being completely and totally irrelevant, forgotten when you’re no longer near the glow that surrounds me, </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>the</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> A-Lister, Demelza Wade. I hope you enjoy tonight, Nadia. Because once I beat you, when I make clear just how much of a background player you are, it’s all downhill from here. </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>(Angle Rating - 56)</em></div></div><p> </p><p>

“Some tough talk from Demelza Wade,” Freebush says.</p><p> </p><p>

“And don’t think she isn’t able to back it up, Jim,” Cat replies. “But Wade had better not take this match lightly. As a competitor, Nadia Snow is just as much a threat as Wade is. I think this match is a toss-up, Jim, but it’ll be one heck of a match no matter who comes out on top.”</p><p> </p><p>

Instead of Wade’s usual preening, she walks to the ring focused and determined. She waits in the ring for the arrival of her former partner, Nadia Snow. For 7 years, Nadia Snow has come out to that familiar drumroll. But not tonight.<p> </p><p>

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="<a href="https://www.youtube.com/embed/OUpP02enWgU" rel="external nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/embed/OUpP02enWgU"</a> frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></p><p> </p><p>

The crowd pops, realizing that Snow has decided to make an ever greater break from Wade with her new entrance music. Nadia Snow lets the music go for a while before emerging from the back. She stops in the entranceway, and looks out on the cheering fans - something new to her after the last 7 years. She takes the moment in before heading to the ring herself.</p><p> </p><p>

<div style="border: solid 5px #000000;"></p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i.imgur.com/VcZ3dx5.jpg</span><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>vs.</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><span>http://i.imgur.com/AWOWtpe.jpg</span><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Demelza Wade vs. Nadia Snow</strong></div></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Wade and Snow start the match with a staredown. Both come in closer, to the point where their forehead to forehead. Finally, Wade shoves Snow. Snow shakes her head, laughs, and then shoves Wade right back. Wade responds with another shove, but is unprepared for Snow tackling her. The two women trade punches back and forth, rolling around the ring, even trying to choke each other. Referee Dwight Kumas struggles to separate the two women, while the crowd cheers this display of unbridled aggression. Snow looks around at the crowd, who acknowledge this with a louder cheer. Snow gives Wade a mocking bow, which sets off another series of aggressive, malicious attacks.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The match continues forward with the same kind of brutal, un-pretty brawling that makes the match look more like an actual fight than a wrestling match. Unsurprisingly, Wade is more than willing to go for cheap shots, but Snow shows she’s willing to fight fire with fire, and 7 years of dirty tactics didn’t just disappear into the ether. The crowd is clearly willing to forgive Snow’s lack of sportsmanship, given the circumstances, but referee Kumas is less accepting of both women using such tactics. Several times during the bout, Kumas pulls the women apart and gives out stern warnings to fight clean before he disqualifies one or both of them.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The ref’s warnings go mostly unheeded, and soon the melee spills out onto the floor. Both women use the environment to their advantage. Kumas is so busy trying to keep the women in check that he doesn’t even begin a ten-count. Wade eventually tosses Snow into a corner of the barricade. Completely disregarding any semblance of the rules at this point, Wade pulls a folding chair out from under someone in the front row. The ref repeatedly tells Wade to put the chair down, under threat of disqualification, but Wade is so intent on harming Snow that even if she </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>hears</em></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Kumas, she’s not </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>listening</em></div><div style="margin-left:25px;">. Snow begins to stir and Wade sets up, ready to swing for the fences. As Snow turns around, Wade unleashes a titanic swing of the chair...only to be met by Nadia Snow also swinging a chair she had grabbed from the timekeeper she had been thrown into. The chairs clang against each other, and Kumas decides he’s seen enough. Kumas calls for the bell, declaring both women disqualified. </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>(Nadia Snow drew with Demelza Wade in 15:51 following a double disqualification. </p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>Ringside at AAA Women of Wrestling 20</em></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The bell may have rung, but neither Snow nor Wade are ready for this fight to end. Both yell at each other, daring the other one to make a move. Dwight Kumas hops out of the ring to get in between them, which is, however well-meaning, a mistake. Neither woman seems particularly deterred by the man in the middle, and finally Nadia Snow pulls Kumas out of the way. Wade uses the opening to try and connect with a chair shot, but Snow dodges the attempt. Snow punches Wade, and with them this close to one another, they both drop their chairs and begin brawling again. The fighting spills over to the announce table, and Cat Quine gets out of her chair to try and help the ref get some control over this situation. With Cat holding Nadia and Dwight getting between Wade and the restrained Snow, enough space is created to stop the brawling. The referee points at Wade and tells her in no uncertain terms to return to the back. Cat suggests that Nadia go through the crowd, in the opposite direction. Nadia does, surrounded by event security staff. </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>(Angle Rating - 48)</em></div></div><p> </p><p>

“Well, Angels, that one got out of control quickly, didn’t it?” asks Jim, covering for Cat Quine until Cat returns to her seat. “I’ll be honest with you all - I’m glad Cat decided to get in between that one, because I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have been able to keep those two separated!”</p><p> </p><p>

Muffled sounds are heard as Cat puts her headset back on. “Holy moley. We knew those two both had a lot of bad feelings to get out, but even I wasn’t prepared for how badly these two wanted to tear into each other. I’ll be honest Jim - with the way this match ended, I don’t think <em>anything</em> was resolved. In fact, I suspect instead of ending the animosity between these two, we’ve seen only the beginning.”</p><p> </p><p>

“I got to believe you’re right, Cat. Angels, it’s already been an exciting night of action here at Women of Wrestling 20, but we’ve still got two more matches for you. Next up is the Femme Fatale title match between Paige Croft, who’s already wrestled once tonight, and the champion, AAA’s Queen of Mean, Steph Blake.”</p><p> </p><p>

Camera footage shows Jaime Quine psyching Paige Croft up for their fight. Paige is clearly listening, but just as clearly holding her neck, in obvious pain. The crowd cheers the sight of Paige Croft. </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>(Angle Rating - 64)</em></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The cheers quickly turn to jeers as the camera cuts to Steph Blake, in her ring gear, ready to go. “All right, you miserable toerag, do your job and focus on us.” The camera steadies as Blake clears her throat and puts on a large and obviously fake grin. “Good evening to all of our loyal, simple subjects. Tonight, your Queen takes on Paige Croft, who is called ‘The Tiny Terminator’ by the jesters who provide what passes for commentary in this promotion. How utterly ferocious </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>that</em></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> sounds. We are not exactly fans of modern cinema, but even we know about those movies. And as we recall, every Terminator film end with the destruction of the Terminator, does it not? I do not suspect the fools who gave her the moniker took that into account, but nevertheless. How terribly appropriate. Because tonight, your Queen is going to do the very same thing and destroy this ‘Tiny Terminator’. Paige Croft, they call you a machine. But every machine can be broken. We are the spanner in your works, Paige. And when a machine has such an obvious flaw - for example, an injured neck? </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>Well</em></div><div style="margin-left:25px;">. One does not need to be a mechanic to know just how to shatter that machine.” </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>(Angle Rating - 58)</em></div></div><p> </p><p>

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Paige Croft vs. Steph Blake (champion)</strong></div></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Paige Croft, even on the way to the ring, holds her neck on a few occasions, trying to sell both that she’s in pain, and that she’s trying to not show just how much pain she’s in. The malicious smile on Steph Blake’s face makes clear to pretty much everyone in the area what her game plan will be. In the early going, the two competitors feel each other out. Croft seems to be slightly more hesitant than normal, lacking at least some of the killer instinct she normally show. Blake, for her part, does not seem to mind the slower pace, even if a slightly faster pace might be an advantage with her vaunted stamina. Given the caution on both sides, it becomes clear that Blake is aware one misstep against Croft could result in having one’s limbs twisted into a pretzel and tapping out.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

As the match continues, Blake continues to look for opportunities to target Croft’s head and neck. When Blake is able to land a hammering forearm blow to the back of Croft’s neck, Croft actually lets out a yelp of pain - an almost unprecedented reaction of any kind from Croft - and drops to her knees. Referee Dwight Kumas goes down to check on Croft, but Blake pushes him out of the way to put Croft in a sleeper hold. Even though Blake doesn’t get her arm fully under Croft’s chin, just trying to move her neck in an attempt to avoid getting knocked out is causing Croft obvious pain. In a desperation move, Croft falls into a seated position, basically resulting in a reverse jawbreaker that breaks the sleeper, but possibly injures Croft as bad - if not worse - than Blake.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

With Croft struggling as she uses the ropes to get up, Blake comes in far too cocky and pays for it. Croft immediately hits a double-leg takedown and transitions into a Memphis Deathlock. Blake looks like she’s going to tap, but then notices she’s within a few steps of the ropes. In serious pain, Blake is still able to pull Croft towards the ropes. With a final, desperate reach, Blake grabs the bottom rope. Croft is forced to let go of the hold. Even still, Blake paid for her overconfidence and the two competitors both find themselves not quite at 100 percent as the match continues.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Blake’s distress seems to summon her friend/lackey Zoe Ammis from the back. The crowd immediately boos the appearance of the Hateful Harlequin, particularly after her underhanded win against Foxxy LaRue in her Top Contender’s match earlier in the night. As if to rub it in, Ammis comes to the ring with the belt around her waist. However, as soon as Ammis hops onto the ring apron, Croft hits her with a running forearm, knocking Ammis off the apron to the delight of the crowd. Blake uses the moment to get a roll-up pin, and a one...two...and </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>not</em></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> a three count. Blake is livid, but not for too long, as Croft immediately goes to work on her. A stiff kick to the gut has enough force to send Blake to the outside in a heap. As Blake gets to her feet, she pulls a chair out from under the ring. The referee immediately goes to the ring ropes to tell her to drop it - especially after how out of hand Snow vs. Wade got.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

It is at this moment that the plan becomes clear. Ammis, unseen on the outside, has a chair. She hops up on the ring apron again, and when Croft tries to clear Ammis again, Ammis delivers a stiff chair thrust to Croft’s stomach. The shot appears to knock the wind out of Croft, and Ammis “falls” back to the outside. Blake - who’s been arguing with the referee while all this is happening, keeping an eye on Ammis all the while - immediately tosses the chair aside, runs to the side of the ring with the gasping Croft, and hits a wicked </div><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAqCVv0N_8o" rel="external nofollow"></a><div style="margin-left:25px;"><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAqCVv0N_8o" rel="external nofollow">slingshot DDT</a></div><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAqCVv0N_8o" rel="external nofollow"></a><div style="margin-left:25px;"> that looks like it wrenches Croft’s already-injured neck with whiplash-like force. Blake makes the cover, hooking the leg just in case even that wasn’t enough to put Croft down. In any event, it is enough, and Steph Blake retains her championship at the biggest show of the year. </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>(Steph Blake defeated Paige Croft in 20:13 by pinfall with a Slingshot DDT following interference from Zoe Ammis. </div><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">WINNER, BY PINFALL, AND STILL FEMME FATALE CHAMPION: STEPH BLAKE</span></strong></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Of course she would! Of course she would cheat, even in a showcase match at the biggest show of the year. Why wouldn’t she do that?” asks Cat Quine, outraged despite her acknowledgement that it was likely inevitable.</p><p> </p><p>

“Not that I’m condoning it in any way, Cat,” ventures Freebush, “But a prize as prestigious as the Femme Fatale championship, the premier women’s championship on this continent? You have to think Steph Blake has become accustomed to her position as the top woman in AAA, and she’ll hold onto it by whatever underhanded means are necessary.”</p><p> </p><p>

“You’re right, Jim,” sighs Cat. “But what Steph Blake fails to realize is that by cheating her way to victory, by taking these shortcuts, she’s really only devaluing herself. Like I said earlier, to be Femme Fatale champion - no matter the circumstances - you have to be one of the best wrestlers on the planet. Steph Blake <em>is</em> a great wrestler. But so long as she continues to cut corners like this, no one will ever see her as the unquestionable best. There will always be doubts - and though she’d never admit it, it means that she herself doubts it too. Cheaters may win, but those nagging doubts in the back of your mind are why cheaters never truly prosper.”</p><p> </p><p>

“I could not agree with you more Cat,” replies Freebush, “but nevertheless, in the history books it will read that Steph Blake retained her Femme Fatale title here at Women of Wrestling 20. As for you Angels out there, don’t click away yet! A match like that would be a main event any company in the world would have been proud to present. But we’ve got one more match for you tonight. Six months of warfare comes to a head tonight, as the Vanguard of the Future Jaime Quine faces a legend of women’s wrestling, the explosive Cherry Bomb. We’ll send you to the back, as we understand Cherry has a few words to say before our main event.”</p><p> </p><p>

Cherry Bomb paces back and forth, a caged tigress, radiating intensity. She turns to look at the camera, as if she’s spotted prey. “Jaime Quine. The future of AAA. Hah! To be the future of AAA, you’d have to HAVE a future! The only thing in your future is pain, failure, and regret! The moment you thought you were in my league, Jaime, the moment you decided to </div><a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2200904&postcount=6" rel="external nofollow"></a><div style="margin-left:25px;"><a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2200904&postcount=6" rel="external nofollow">step up to me</a></div><a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2200904&postcount=6" rel="external nofollow"></a><div style="margin-left:25px;">? That was the moment you sealed your fate. I’ll give you credit for one thing, Jaime. You’re like a cockroach. No matter how many times I try to crush you under my heel, you still find a way to skitter away. But we’re in cage tonight, Jaime. We step in there, they put a lock on the door, and they don’t open it again until one woman wins. And there is no doubt, no doubt! That Cherry Bomb will be that woman. Victory for you tonight will be if you’re still able to walk once I’m done with you!” Cherry looks past the camera, directly at the operator. “Get that out of my face. The time for talking is over.” Cherry strides out of frame, ready for a fight. </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>(Angle Rating - 67)</em></div></div><p> </p><p>

Cutting back to the ring,

As if she had not even broken her stride, Cherry comes down the aisle. She looks stern and severe, not even acknowledging the audience as she approaches the cage surrounding the ring. Cherry pulls on the cage, as if to see how much give it has - or if she can rip it apart with her bare hands. Seemingly satisfied, Cherry enters the cage, and continues pacing. Cherry’s music stops, and after letting the atmosphere hang for a moment, Jaime Quine’s entrance music,

<div class="ipsEmbeddedVideo"><div><iframe width="200" height="150" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/jfmCeD4A42g?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" title="Metric - Stadium Love [LYRICS]"></iframe></div></div>, erupts over the loudspeaker. The crowd likewise erupts in cheers. Quine looks serious herself, briefly acknowledging the crowd, but fully aware of the gravity of the situation. She enters the cage, followed by referee Dwight Kumas. Once they enter the cage, the cage door is shut and padlocked. Both women go to their corners, while the crowd chants. The vast majority chant “Let’s go Jaime!”, though there is a vocal minority that can be heard to reply with “Cher-ry Bomb!” The ref calls for the bell, and the main event of Women of Wrestling 20 is on.<p> </p><p>

<div style="border: solid 5px #000000;"></p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Cage Match</span></strong></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><span>http://i.imgur.com/Dw8k489.jpg</span><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>vs.</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><span>http://i.imgur.com/5Auj7Hh.jpg</span><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Cherry Bomb vs. Jaime Quine</strong></div></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The crowd is electric, despite being vocal and enthusiastic the entire night. The women circle each other, territorial animals forced into the same space. Each time they circle, they draw in closer to each other. Finally, Cherry Bomb makes the first move, landing a thunderous right that is seemingly intended as a one-hit KO. Jaime blocks most of the blow, and fires back with a stiff left kick to the side of Cherry’s torso, which Cherry manages to block. The two women trade stiff punches and kicks in the early going, but neither woman manages to land a serious shot on the other in the early going.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Jaime, being younger and less densely built than Cherry, decides to pick up the pace. Jaime uses her agility advantage to slip behind Cherry, getting her into rear waistlocks. But the technique is only mildly effective, as the sheer mass and muscle of Cherry Bomb prevents Jaime from being able to take Cherry down as well as she likes. Attempts to transition into a headlock result in Cherry pushing Jaime off. A sleeper attempt ends with Cherry tossing Jaime forward. Seizing the opportunity, Cherry grabs Jaime by the hair and slams her face-first into the cage. The cage does not have much give, and several members of the audience wince as metal meets flesh. Cherry follows up with a hanging vertical suplex, keeping Jaime aloft for at least a count of five before sending her crashing to the mat. Cherry, having slowed the pace down to her preferred level, lands crushing body slams, and goes for the first pin of the evening off a sidewalk slam that seems to shake the entire ring. Jaime kicks out, convincingly, at 2.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Cherry doesn’t mind the kick out. If anything, she seems happy that she gets to continue her assault. Cherry sets Jaime up on her shoulder, clearly intending to throw Jaime like a spear into the cage. Cherry gets a running start...but Jaime slips off her shoulder, and pushes Cherry such that Cherry can’t stop her momentum and hits the cage instead. When Cherry turns around, she’s met with a flurry of kicks to both legs, causing the Cherry to lose her footing. With Cherry kneeling, Jaime unleashes a huge roundhouse kick that hits Cherry right in the head with sickening force. The crowd gasps as Cherry crumples to the ground. Even still, the pinfall attempt only gets two before Cherry kicks out with authority.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The match continues, with Jaime getting in most of the offense, but Cherry keeps on coming. It is unclear what Jaime would have to do to keep Cherry down for three seconds, much less pin her for a three count. For her part, Cherry absorbs the punishment, but manages to break Jaime’s momentum any time it seems like Jaime’s getting somewhere with a huge power move that stops Jaime in her tracks. A spinning back elbow from Jaime drops Cherry to one knee, the point of Jaime’s elbow connecting with enough force to open a cut above Cherry’s left eyebrow. Referee Dwight Kumas immediately pulls a pair of gloves from his back pocket and forces both women into their respective corners. Cherry vociferously argues with the referee, that she’s perfectly able to continue competing. The cut is not very deep, and the match continues.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Getting cut open seems to reinvigorate Cherry Bomb. She uses her size advantage to force Jaime Quine into the corners, putting Jaime Quine on her heels. Huge, clubbing forearms crumple Jaime, and a cannonball into the corner seems to crush the remaining life out of Jaime Quine. Cherry pulls Jaime out of the corner and into the center of the ring. She puts Jaime in a double underhook and drops her with a

The crowd boos as Cherry gets the 1, 2 - and not 3! At the very last moment, Jaime’s shoulder lifts off the mat.For the first time all year, someone kicked out of the Cherry Bomb! Cherry immediately begins arguing with the ref that his count must have been wrong, a poor tactical choice as the jawing with the referee allows Jaime Quine to stir, and then crawl to the ropes. Cherry finally stops screaming at the ref as Jaime pulls herself to her feet. Cherry barrels toward Jaime - and eats a

Jaime sways and finally drops onto Cherry Bomb for one, two…</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

And not three as Cherry Bomb now lifts her shoulder off the canvas at the last possible moment. The crowd letdown is audible. The women are slow to get up, both on unsteady legs. They trade blows, wild sweeping haymakers that have everything each woman has left behind them - which may not be much at this point. Cherry gives Jaime a stiff kick to the gut, setting her up for another Cherry Bomb. Jaime blocks the lift, though, and pushes Cherry towards the cage wall. Cherry smacks into the wall, hurt but not downed. Jaime grabs Cherry by the hair and smashes her face first into each cage wall, but Cherry will not go down. Shaking her head in disbelief, Jaime goes for another K.O. Kick, which Cherry dodges. Cherry goes for another kick to the gut to set up a Cherry Bomb, but Jaime catches Cherry’s leg. Jaime pulls Cherry in, and with the last of her strength, executes a picture-perfect

Jaime’s bridge is textbook, and with the crowd popping louder than ever before, the referee counts to three. </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>(Jaime Quine defeated Cherry Bomb in a Cage match in 27:53 by pinfall with a Cat’s Cradle. </div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i.imgur.com/5Auj7Hh.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

As soon as the three count happens, Jaime collapses out of the bridge. The center of the ring is a tangled mess of limbs.

</div><div class="ipsEmbeddedVideo"><div><iframe width="200" height="150" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/jfmCeD4A42g?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" title="Metric - Stadium Love [LYRICS]"></iframe></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> plays and the crowd is going absolutely wild. Cat doesn’t even try to hide her glee. “She did it! She did it! Jaime did it!”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“And not only did she do it,” adds Jim, “but she did it with </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>your</em></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> iconic Cat’s Cradle!”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“I had no idea that was in her arsenal!” Cat exclaims.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The cage door is unlocked, and Jaime leaves the ring, stumbling to one knee as she exits the cage to the floor. A trainer comes out and checks on Jaime, helping her get to her feet. The crowd cheers even louder, somehow, as Jaime raises one arm in victory. She looks around, awed by the moment. With the help of the trainer, Jaime begins to walk back down the aisle.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i.imgur.com/Dw8k489.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

In the ring, Cherry Bomb finally stirs. She looks around for a moment, trying to regain her bearings, before coming to the realization that she has lost the match. Cherry bellows in rage, slamming her fist into the canvas repeatedly, if futilely. A second trainer and the referee go to help Cherry up and check on her cut, but Cherry pushes both of them away with authority. Jaime turns around, with the trainer’s help, and Jaime and Cherry lock eyes. With a smile on her face, Jaime raises both arms in victory. Cherry begins pulling and kicking at the cage in frustration, managing to loosen the cage door from its hinges, but all the anger in the world isn’t going to change a thing. </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>(Angle Rating - 68)</em></div></div><p> </p><p>

“On behalf of the Angel Athletic Association, our competitors, the men and women who work behind the scenes and make these shows actually happen, we thank you for joining us” says Jim Lou Freebush, having to shout to be heard over the crowd. “Thank you, all you Angels, and wherever you are - the revolution continues!”</p><p> </p><p>

<p>Women of Wrestling 20 Roundup</p><p> </p><p>

Here’s the results for Women of Wrestling 20:</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Pre-show</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Five-Way Elimination Match</strong></p><p>

<strong>Wendy Anderson</strong> def. Ariel Breaks, Elsa Calvo, Bobbie McGee, & Joanna Silver</p><p> </p><p>

It was a personal goal of mine to try and get as many non-injured people on the AAA roster onto the Women of Wrestling card in one way or another. Despite her losing streak as of late, Wendy Anderson is still the most over of this bunch, and a former Top Contender champion. So, trying to equal out her momentum so that it doesn’t drop to “Major Negative” here. Anderson also has pretty decent skills, so this was in some ways an opportunity to try and teach some of the younger members of the roster. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Princess & the Punk (Christy Higgins & Simony Sentinel)</strong> def. Glorious Gloria & Helen Earth</p><p> </p><p>

There isn’t really much to say here. Helen Earth is local talent on a one-night contract. Glorious Gloria is greener than grass. And Simony & Higgins are essentially the queens of the pre-show. This match is just more momentum and potential learning for P&P.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Selina Svelte</strong> def. Sarah Taylor & Katherine Goodlooks</p><p> </p><p>

After coming up short against Foxxy LaRue a few times, this was an opportunity to get Svelte back into the win column. Being in the ring against Svelte and Goodlooks was another opportunity for Taylor to learn. Goodlooks is starting to have Sami Zayn booking - the uber-face with ethical integrity, who can lose and not look like a total loser. What I’m not sure about is whether I <em>want</em> Goodlooks to be booked like that over the long term.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Amber Allen</strong> def. Ellie May Walton</p><p> </p><p>

In a pop over performance promotion like AAA, I hoped but was not entirely certain that a technician like Amber Allen would fit in with my product. Since she hasn’t had a story - hasn’t been seen at all in AAA except for one pre-show match (which I treat as essentially non-canon) - I decided that I would leave her in the preshow. I also thought to give her an opponent that is...how do I put this delicately? <em>Not very good.</em> If Allen could drag a decent graded match out of Ellie May Walton, then she’ll be just fine here. That 40 grade is one of the best matches Walton has had to date, so I think Allen will do just fine in AAA.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Main Card</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>AAA Tag Team Championship</strong></p><p>

<strong>Jaime Quine & Paige Croft</strong> def. The Delicate Flowers (Kate Lilly & Debbie Rose)</p><p> </p><p>

I wanted to start the night off with a hot match, and Jaime, Paige, and the Flowers definitely delivered. Lilly and Rose are in the mid-30s in terms of their pop, and Jaime & Paige are in the low-to-mid 40s, so a match grade of 59 from this bunch exceeded my already high expectations. Lilly and Rose have Tag Experience of 100, which generally means their matches outperform what you’d expect from their popularity. The neck injury to Paige, by the way? It was kind of funny, in the sense that I was likely going to incorporate a kayfabe injury of that very sort into Paige’s later match with Steph Blake, in order to protect Paige since she has rarely lost up to this point. So actually getting injured? It didn’t exactly ruin my booking plans, since the injury was not so bad that Paige couldn’t compete later in the night. Still, I would rather had only had a kayfabe injury, because I believe the Femme Fatale title match would have been even a few points better without the injury.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Dog Collar Match</strong></p><p>

<strong>Suzanne Brazzle</strong> def. Laura Flame</p><p> </p><p>

Another match that exceeded fairly high expectations. Laura Flame continues to put up match grades far beyond her current popularity. I have a lot of hopes about where I can take Flame, and unless something unexpected happens, I think she’ll be rising through the AAA ranks fairly quick. Suzanne Brazzle turns in another strong performance as well. Brazzle’s had a lot of lower-key feuds going on, but she’s proving to me that she’s definitely a legitimate Femme Fatale champion, though she may be more transitional than a long-term solution. Even still, I’d like to find something more interesting to do with Brazzle moving forward. She’s earned it.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Devil's Daughter</strong> def. Golden Delicious</p><p> </p><p>

Devil’s Daughter <em>had</em> to win this one. If DD loses here, I’ve basically Wyatt’ed Lilith’s entire shtick before it’s even had a chance to find its legs. I booked this match as a breather, to bring the crowd down after two pretty hot matches, so I’m not terribly concerned about the relatively low match score.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Tracey Brendon</strong> def. Steffi Chee</p><p> </p><p>

What I said about Suzanne Brazzle goes double for Tracey Brendon. I’ve had her mostly drifting in limbo since she got out of her three-month feud with Brazzle, but she deserves better than to have an unpromoted match without any storyline at the biggest show of the year.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>AAA Top Contender's Championship</strong></p><p>

<strong>Zoe Ammis</strong> def. Foxxy LaRue</p><p> </p><p>

Welcome to the Two Woman Power Trip. Zoe’s been fun to write, and I try to find new ways for her to be unbelievably obnoxious every time I write her. Now Blake and Ammis both hold gold, and if you think those two were overbearing before, it can only get worse at this point. I did protect Foxxy somewhat with the end of this match. Foxxy did not lose clean, which I think not only advances Foxxy, but also Zoe Ammis. Foxxy gets to keep looking strong, while Zoe Ammis’ characterization as someone with “ethical flexibility” is reinforced.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Nadia Snow draws with Demelza Wade</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The build up to this match has been several months of storyline coming together, but in trying to figure out the booking for this match, I realized that I was not ready to have a blow-off match. Though the erosion of the A-List has been happening, the actual out-and-out animosity is brand-new. I feel like these two have a lot more that they can bring to the table, and keeping the heat between them going lets me have this lack of resolution simmering in their storyline, without boiling over. Also, having there be chicanery that put one over the other felt too repetitive in the booking, given the match before and the match that follows.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>AAA Femme Fatale Championship</strong></p><p>

<strong>"The Queen of Mean" Steph Blake</strong> def. Paige Croft</p><p> </p><p>

Bow down to the Queen.</p><p> </p><p>

Steph Blake’s been a revelation for me in this diary. She was meant to be a transitional champion, the belt helping her establish herself as a legitimate main eventer when I lost my two most popular workers. But the Queen of Mean gimmick has been so much fun to write, and Steph holding the belt makes her claims of being the Queen have some weight behind them. I’ve realized that I’m cribbing Steph’s character, in some respects, from early 2000s William Regal - people who hold themselves up as paragons of taste and class, whose fighting style is actually dirty as hell, betraying their anything-but-high-class background.</p><p> </p><p>

Of course, Paige Croft gets to keep looking strong because she’s got a solid kayfabe reason for the loss. Not only did she already have one match before this one, which tilts things toward Steph Blake’s famed cardiovascular superiority, but the neck injury become a perfect worked shoot reason for the loss. Basically, Paige Croft went into this match injured, and even with the injury she still fought for over 20 minutes before it finally taking outside interference to hand Paige her first loss in this diary. If I protected Paige any more, I’d have to surround her in bubble wrap.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Cage Match Main Event</strong></p><p>

<strong>Jaime Quine</strong> def. Cherry Bomb</p><p> </p><p>

Basically, this was Jaime Quine walking into the dragon’s lair and slaying the dragon. For the biggest show of the year, the 20th anniversary show, I wanted to send the crowd home happy. So my most popular face takes on my most popular heel in a 28-minute cage match, and the face finally wins after six months of chasing. No Russo swerves, no turns - just basic, old school booking.</p><p> </p><p>

Now, months ago, I had decried the number of workers in AAA using a kick finisher. I mean, yes, I get that North American women’s wrestling has been kick-heavy since Trish Stratus’ Chick Kick, at the very least. Jaime Quine had a kick, and so did Demelza Wade. If I wanted to make sure matches didn’t inadvertently become Superkick Parties, at least some people needed to change their finishers. I thiiiiiiink it was MrWolf who suggested that Jaime should start using the Cat’s Cradle as a finisher, which I loved, but I told him that I’d wait until a dramatically appropriate moment to make the change. Well, this was the most dramatic moment I could imagine. I haven’t decided whether to have Jaime keep the K.O. Kick as her primary finisher, and have the Cat’s Cradle become her version of the Burning Hammer, to be broken out only in case of emergencies, or to have the Cat’s Cradle become Jaime’s primary finisher. Opinions?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Bonus Questions:</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>1. There are three AAA titles. How many titles will change at WoW?</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>One title change</strong>, the Top Contender title. AAA’s a fairly stable organization in terms of championship changes, at least thus far. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>2. A match grade of 60+ is an excellent match by AAA standards. How many matches at WoW will exceed that rating, if any?</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>3. Which matches will exceed the 60+ rating, if any?</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Three matches</strong> managed to grade out to at least a 60 - <strong>the Ammis/LaRue Top Contender’s match, the Croft/Blake Femme Fatale match, and the Jaime/Cherry match</strong>. That last one scored an unbelievable <em>77</em>, making it by far and away the best match of the diary so far. I mean, you can talk about nepotism all you want, but Jaime Quine was half of the best match in the Cat Quine era. I’d be silly - and fiscally irresponsible - to not push her. USPW’s decision to drop Cherry Bomb continues to look more and more like a foolish decision, at least for my universe’s version of Cherry.</p><p> </p><p>

Tiebreaker - <strong>3,293</strong> attendance, which is my best house thus far, though I had hoped for a bit more - the Martin Centre can hold up to 4,000, I believe, so there would have definitely been some empty seats. Not the best look for the biggest show of the year, but what are you gonna do?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Prediction Contest Results</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Y’all made these predictions a <em>month</em> ago. Sorry to take so long to get to seeing whether you chose...wisely.</p><p> </p><p>
