I actually wish TEW2016 had the same "reality show" feature that is in WMMA4. That would be so sick. I could then run more reality programming on the WWE Network. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I've actually wished you could sign charismatic talent to "network" deals that could help boost subscriptions / revenue. I like the above idea too, it could all tie into revenue for the network. Also, it could generate new rookies that get guaranteed contracts for your company.</p><p> </p><p> To answer the original question, you can't unless you run a B show with a whole bunch of freestyle angles with some matches in between, using descriptions as the segment title for angles. I only say B show since I assume your contestants will have little popularity if any.</p><p> </p><p> I used to run the original NXT competition as a B show back in TEW10. Picked 8 workers from development and 8 pro's from the main roster and had singles and tag matches, some rookie vs rookie or pro vs rookie. I wouldn't put booker notes so the auto-booker determined wins and loses and I kept a tally in the notepad and I eliminated the bottom person every other week. Once there was a winner I'd recycle it and pick the next 8.</p>

Wouldn't it be more interesting to set up the show yourself? Something along the lines of angles (like promos and vignettes) to get the guys over. I guess the training thing would be the only downfall so you could have an NXT/Tough Enough hybrid with the competitors actually having to compete with one another on the show... maybe sign them for 3 month written contracts and see who is doing well and then sign the best couple to a deal... it would take some work but still could be what you're looking for.

So I have an idea...

it might require a bit of tweaking and some work, but could be fun:

Make a 'minor' brand or developmental company [you could even simply create a 'b' show (but you'll have one of these with the other two options as well).

What you will do is basically sign however many workers you want for the Tough Enough brand (or company), and they will all be 3 month to 1 year contracts for as cheap as possible. (I know the show that finally makes it to TV only has like 8-12 people. But they also have tryouts, and a bunch of other stuff.

-I would personally hire around 20-40 people, and slowly weed them out throughout the year.

-Then you will also sign 5-10 Veterans who are either Semi-active, Retired, or at the end of their career (guys who are active or retired you may have to change to full time and make sure they are in ring eligible [if they get hurt during the year, oh well]).

-You will want vets with good psychology, basics, safey.

-You might also want some vets that have good mic and entertainment skills.

-Then you will hold an event every week, 1 hour long, and you will put on however many matches (recommend 3 regular show, 2 pre show) and the length you want(recommend 30 min, 1 hr or 1 hr & 30 min.) (depends how much money you're willing to lose as well, attendance will be low, these wont make money).

-During these you will have your 'competitors' involved in matches mostly with veterans and once in awhile with each other (the more 'over' competitors, and mostly pre-matches I would suggest).

-You will also have them cut promo's with the vets rated on mic and entertainment.

-After roughly 8-9 months you will start your "B Show" (or possibly upgrade to an A if you have been running B shows the entire year). This will be the "Final competitors" the people you see on TV, the reality portion for TV. But yours is slightly different because its a game that uses a lot of imagination.

-From here you have a 3 month show, eliminate people each week (just stop showing them on TV if you plan to sign them to your company, or release them if you're done with them, or let their contract just expire)

-Try to run the 1 hr long show in a semi same format as the events, except less veteran presence and more competitor on competitor promos and matches.

By the end you will have a winner, and if you want it true to form you can sign them to a contract for a Written contract of (minimum: 8,333 per month = $100,000 a year, which equals 1 "6 figure contract" as advertised on TV).

On top of that, if you were lucky you found some good talents, or developed some up and coming stars. You may have even found people in the "try outs" that were too good, so you took them out and signed them to your roster? Idk. Just an idea that came to me as I saw this question, what do you think?

Not bad, couple of points tho.

Why hire vets, simply use your current roster of older stars to make cameo appearances/matches.

I would potentially look at using existing preshows for 8-9month period,

I would then activate a new B show and use the remaining competitors for that for the scheduled 3months (in my case it would lead up to wrestlemania where the final would be on WM, im playing the COTT mod) once done, I would deactivate the B Show and then potentially start the whole process again
