The match is over, and The Immortals are left down. WaraGawa are celebrating, but then stop and see that their opponents are still on the ground. They attack, and beat both Danger Asahara and Joao Iwahara into the canvas. <strong>35</strong></p><p> </p><p> 7. <strong>Iron Cup Quarter Final</strong>: In a bout that had superb wrestling and great heat, Amado Ocampo defeated Yukio Kisanuki in a 15 Minute Iron Man match in 15:00 by two falls to one. <strong>78 </strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="42843" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Show Thoughts</strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p> Before the show started, Akira once again started screaming about how the crown jewel of IWJ is being disrespected and how Ares is afraid of facing him. He delivered an emotional rant about his affiliation for carnage which starts tonight and will continue till such time that he gets a shot at the Heavyweight title.</p><p> </p><p> Akira promised destruction and he lived his promise by taking out both the members of 4S. At start, we were treated to another stellar performance by this fast rising team and Scott Seal was on fire employing suplexes and stiff strikes to USAMI. This pegged back Akira and USAMI for some time but Akira soon employed his new violent streak that he had claimed would be on show and he went berserk finally submitting Seal with a Forget me Knot. It looked like he would break Seal’s leg until the officials interfered. 4S were given a lot of applause by the crowd after the match and it looks like we may have a new fan favorite team.</p><p> </p><p> “The Armbar King” Akihiro Soga started this match on upper hand employing lot of holds and locks trying to slap on that armbar and he was successful in winning the first pin just at the halfway mark. But Jesus was no pushover and the MMA star brought in his A game to the fold. This was a technical masterclass which was further enhanced by the great chemistry that these two had. Soon, the dangerous Triangle Choke from Rio evened out the honors and after that he raised up the bar managing to out-strike Soga before a vicious ground and pound from Rio knocked him out cold.</p><p> </p><p> Rhyno Khan, the Canadian monster had lot to prove coming into this match as he had barely managed to go past Ryder in the 1st round. Apolinario himself had a point to prove as after Soga lost his bout, S.E.A.T would look to the two Filipinos to bring them laurels. In a decent bout noted for its lack of psychology, both started slow and only took initiative when they were sure. With time running out, Apolinario tried his Volcano Driver on Rhyno but he rebuffed it and instead hit a monstrous Khanage Bomb to take the win just before the buzzer and once again Rhyno had managed to scrape through.</p><p> </p><p> The other team of Misfits, Wara-Gawa also had a chance to redeem themselves in the tag division when they took on Immortals who had been stuck in a rut for some time and it looked like they will be in this position for some while. Their timing was all over the place and the former champs had lost confidence in themselves and when you take on an established unit like Wara-Gawa, you make sure you don’t make unnecessary mistakes. Sugawara shined in the match helping his team though the pin was won by Kikugawa.</p><p> </p><p> It seemed that Akira’s mentality has rubbed off on all of his team-mates as even after winning Wara-Gawa continued attacking and were forced to let go only after officials rushed to the ring.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="42843" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">MATCH OF THE NIGHT</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i66.tinypic.com/14xktg3.jpg</span><span>http://i68.tinypic.com/30c80gp.jpg</span><span>http://i65.tinypic.com/2rgz6go.jpg</span><p> <strong>Iron Cup Quarter Final</strong>: <em>Amando Ocampo vs Yukio Kisanuki</em></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Another superb main event closed our Chugoku show as Amando and Kisanuki brought the house down. Kisanuki showed why he was once the cornerstone of the openweight division as his flurry of aerial attacks pegged back Amando and he was found playing catch up often. </p><p> </p><p> The first pin came when Kisanuki moved out of a running shoulder block attempt from Amando and on rebound hit a diving body splash before going up the turnbuckle and hit his Driving Elbow to take the fall.</p><p> </p><p> Soon, his attempts at enhancing his lead continued but was unsuccessful. Amando slowed down the bout as it was evident that he would not be able to match Kisanuki’s pace. He indulged in sprawl and brawl tactics which made his opponent impatient which led to the first mistake from Yukio as he tried a high-risk springboard Driving Elbow but a kick in the mid-rib brought him down.</p><p> </p><p> From there on, the Filipino took control getting his first pin and then continuing the same tactic to take the second and inch his way to the semis keeping S.E.A.T’s hope alive.</p></div></blockquote>

Taking on Seung Zhi of S.E.A.T, he showed his full flurry of MMA techniques and didn’t give any space finishing him off with a Cyborg Takedown (over the shoulder facebuster).</p><p> </p><p> Akira continued his violent streak decimating the Canadian submission machine Keymo. Though there was poor chemistry between the two, the match was all about Akira proving a point and he did just that after slapping on his Forget Me Knot and refusing to let go even after Keymo had tapped out till such time that officials rushed in to prevent further damage.</p><p> </p><p> Next was the first ever triple threat match of the tour which gave chance to the younger members of the roster to shine. GOLD Ishihara gave in a good performance while Juki who is still hindered by the leg injury had limited participation. But undoubtedly, Ryder was the star putting in breath taking aerial attacks and winning the match with a pin over GOLD.</p><p> </p><p> Amando got a chance to get in some boost ahead of his semi-finals when he teamed up with Apolinario to take on the team of the month, 4S. Once again Scott registered a good effort but in the end, the combined might of Amando and Apolinario was too much to handle and Filipino Fire Power won the match.</p><p> </p><p> In the last quarter final, rockstar ICHIBEI took on the Wolf man and the headbanging star grabbed all the attention from his entrance to his fan interaction on his way to the ring. But Dark Wolf II took exception to his showboating ways and started attacking the moment ICHIBEI entered the ring. Even though the heavyweight star threw in lot of big hands but that could not deter the confidence of his opponent as Dark Wolf II called in the spirit of his wolf mask and made a comeback in the match. With confidence growing with every passing minute, he finally took the plunge to break the deadlock and hit Wolf’s Call to enter the semis.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="42843" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>MATCH OF THE NIGHT</strong></span></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i68.tinypic.com/2zfkb4w.jpg</span><span>http://i68.tinypic.com/2uel2z7.jpg</span><span>http://i68.tinypic.com/2ppikqh.jpg</span><span>http://i68.tinypic.com/30c80gp.jpg</span><span>http://i68.tinypic.com/2pz0eja.jpg</span><span>http://i68.tinypic.com/2yv8278.jpg</span><span>http://i63.tinypic.com/4ndrd.jpg</span><p> <strong>Outside Interference</strong><em>(Ares/Magnus Stonebreaker/Jesus Rio)</em> vs <strong>The Misfits</strong><em>(USAMI 3000/Motosugu Sugawara/Ryo Kikugawa)</em> </p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> The 3 on 3 match between the all reigning Outside Interference and the misfiring Misfits continued our good run of main events and this was an all-out war between the two units. The highlights include Kikugawa brawling toe to toe with Ares and USAMI creating problems for Magnus with his lightning kicks. With these four engaging in vicious war, it was left to Jesus and Sugawara to carry the match on their own. </p><p> </p><p> The action spread to floor as we were treated to some blood curling strikes from Ares reciprocated by crazy punches from Kikugawa. An I’m not KRZ!! attempt by Ryo was ducked which quickly transitioned into an Ares-plex but a timely USAMI interference saved the day. USAMI’s attempt at 3000 Degrees Fahrenheit was foiled by Jesus who kicked him out of the ring before Triangle Choking Sugawara to submission.</p></div></blockquote>

Scott continued to shine bright with his performance but in the end the size and the might of Dmitri was too much to overcome and he fell prey to a Cyborg Takedown.</p><p> </p><p> Akira took things to an extreme level when he attacked GOLD even before he could enter the ring. Perhaps, somebody challenging him made his ego worse and he inflicted maximum damage to the youngster again holding on to his Forget Me Knot submission even after Ishihara had tapped which forced the officials to run in once again to put an end to the misery.</p><p> </p><p> Ares had enough and he rushed to the ring before getting hold of a mic and saying that he is ashamed at the actions of Akira and it is not expected from a sensible person to act like this. Further, he added that he would love to show him his place and accepted Akira’s challenge. But he added a stipulation that if he loses, he will not get another chance at Ares title.</p><p> </p><p> Jesus Rio started the 1st semifinal on backfoot as Rhyno was much more aggressive and repeatedly drove his boot to the face of Rio scarring him up. With the Bolivian trying to get back, a spine-breaking Rhyno Charge on the turnbuckles at the 8-minute mark brought in 1st pin for the Canadian. He started upping his aggression and almost obliterated Jesus with a lariat but somehow the pinfall eluded him. Getting frustrated, he went for a Khanage Bomb but Jesus countered with a DDT before slapping his Triangle Choke and Rhyno was forced to tap. With the clock running down, Rio didn’t waste his time and he went for another Choke almost drawing the life out of the monster and cemented his place in the finals.</p><p> </p><p> The tag contendership was a pretty fast paced affair and was complemented beautifully by the contrasting styles of the three teams though a lack of flow was noticed. Yukio was a cut above everyone and he justified his stature by hitting a Driving Elbow to both the members of Immortals before pinning Asahara for the win.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="42843" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>MATCH OF THE NIGHT</strong></span></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i66.tinypic.com/14xktg3.jpg</span><span>http://i68.tinypic.com/30c80gp.jpg</span><span>http://i66.tinypic.com/2ug2j5e.jpg</span><p> <strong>Iron Cup Semi Finals</strong>: <em>Amado Ocampo vs Dark Wolf II</em></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Once again the main event stole the show and these two had a superb match. Amado started in his usual fashion catching hold of Dark Wolf amidst his aerial attacks and executing a swift Greetings From The Islands. To make sure, he followed it up with a body splash from the ropes to get the 1st pin.</p><p> </p><p> Dark Wolf though was not a man to be kept down and he made a comeback kicking the hell out of Amado and making him go limp. A springboard shoulder block gave Wolf back the advantage and he soon hit Wolf’s Call to even the honors.</p><p> </p><p> With both men not trying to make a mistake, the bout got slowed a bit but all the signature moves were on display like the springboard moves from Dark Wolf and the slams and suplexes from Amado.</p><p> </p><p> Finally an attempt by Dark Wolf for a Wolf’s Call was stopped by Amado as he delivered a powerslam before another Greetings from Islands sent the Filipino to finals.</p></div></blockquote>

I was there at Katsura-san's house for our monthly review meeting. I loved coming to these meetings as it meant some gorgeous home-made Japanese food along with a plethora of beauties roaming around.</p><p> </p><p>

Yes, Kadonomaro Kastsura had a liking for good looking girl with assets and he would often splash his cash bringing them home. In fact, he also ran a sushi bar where the chef was a lady who doubled up as his playmate in his home.</p><p> </p><p>

Hell, even i enjoyed her once or twice when i was offered her services after winning the regional battles. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />:D</p><p> </p><p>

I was enjoying the sake when the man himself entered the room.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Katsura</strong>: <span style="color:#A0522D;">Ares-san. Welcome.!! Enjoying your drink.!!</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Ares</strong>: <span style="color:#006400;">Yes, Katsura-san. Thanks!! Your thoughts on last night's show??</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Katsura</strong>: <span style="color:#A0522D;">It was good. Perhaps one of the finest we have had this year, maybe only brought down by your match with Akira. Now, run me down through your decisions. Why did you drop your title?? Why Amado won the Iron Cup?? Why was Dark Wolf not on the event??</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Ares</strong>: <em>(He seems serious)</em> <span style="color:#006400;">Uhhh...Well ok let me break down for you. I dropped the title because i had been holding it for a long time and shouts of plagiarism started to emerge from the locker room and yesterday was the right moment to drop it and Dark Wolf was busy with the Fire Kingdom show so he could not appear for us.</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Katsura</strong>: <span style="color:#A0522D;">If you had to drop your title, why let Amado win the Iron Cup?? You should have let Jesus win. That would have ensured a new OI-Misfits rivalry</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Ares</strong>: <span style="color:#006400;">Well, we needed a big name to win the 1st Iron Cup to raise the prestige and Amado fits the bill perfectly. Also, Ares-Amado feud has been run several times and a feud between Misfits and S.E.A.T would be fresh. </span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Katsura</strong>: <span style="color:#A0522D;">What to do with Magnus..?? What next for Jesus..?? Will Dmitri be able to get over?? Where will Rhyno go next?? So, many questions i will go mad. </span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Ares</strong>: <em>(The spirit has gone clearly into his head)</em><span style="color:#006400;">I have a plan for everyone. See...</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Katsura</strong>: <span style="color:#A0522D;">I need bosoms...</span></p><p> </p><p>

and he went off after that chef-cum-playmate...</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Ares</strong>: <span style="color:#006400;">WTF....??????.</span></p>

<p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i66.tinypic.com/rwkuww.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

IWJ has always strived to put on fair competition in their ring. For this purpose, a new system has been devised, The Power List which gives rankings to all the contenders of the division. Belonging to The Power List means you have a better chance of earning a title shot. </p><p> </p><p>

The rules are as follows:</p><p> </p><p>

1. Any member outside The Power List can get a chance to go inside the list if he makes a succesful challenge to the person last on the Power List. If he loses, he goes one place down.</p><p> </p><p>

2. The champions automatically holds the top division of every Power List. Only the second ranked member or members can challenge him to a championship match. If he fails to win the title, the next rankers all move up a place each.</p><p> </p><p>

3. The Heavyweight Power List members can only fight for the heavyweight title. The members outside the list have a choice to go for the Openweight or the Heavyweight title.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

With the above set of rules, we present to you The Power List:</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Heavyweight Power List</strong></p><p>

<strong>#1</strong> - Akira Taguchi - <em>Heavyweight Champ</em></p><p>

<strong>#2</strong> - Amado Ocampo - <em>Iron Cup Winner</em></p><p>

<strong>#3</strong> - Ares</p><p>

<strong>#4</strong> - Jesus Rio/Rhyno Khan/ICHIBEI</p><p>

<strong>#5</strong> - </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Openweight Power List</strong></p><p>

<strong>#1</strong> - Magnus Stonebreaker - <em>Openweight Champ</em></p><p>

<strong>#2</strong> - El Fenix </p><p>

<strong>#3</strong> - Tigre De Plata/Dark Wolf II/USAMI 3000</p><p>

<strong>#4</strong> - Apolinario</p><p>

<strong>#5</strong> - </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Tag Power List</strong></p><p>

<strong>#1</strong> - Masked Mayhem 2.0 - <em>Tag Champ</em></p><p>

<strong>#2</strong> - SpaceWolf/Y2 </p><p>

<strong>#3</strong> - Wara-Gawa/4S</p><p>

<strong>#4</strong> - World's Most Wanted/Immortals</p><p>

<strong>#5</strong> -</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

The rankings will be updated after every show based on the results.</p>

Fighting at a pace which defied his age, he went extra mile to win the title but Magnus was not willing to give even an inch and it made for an awkward bout as these two did not had any chemistry. But both are good wrestlers and they managed to hold their own against one another and a Fenix Splash was dodged before Magnus managed to tap Fenix to his Olympic Stretch to chalk up another defense.</p><p> </p><p> The three-way elimination main event was a decent affair, not anything extraordinary. Akira tried to get the advantage by kicking Amado on the guts and tried a running clothesline but Amado had the same plan and both laid out each other .With all the 8 men out of the ring and in no position to return, referee had to declare this a draw.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Heavyweight Power List</strong></p><p> #1 - Akira Taguchi - Heavyweight Champ</p><p> #2 - Amado Ocampo - Iron Cup Winner</p><p> #3 - Ares</p><p> #4 - ICHIBEI</p><p> #5 - Jesus Rio</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Openweight Power List</strong></p><p> #1 - Magnus Stonebreaker - Openweight Champ</p><p> #2 - Tigre De Plata/Dark Wolf II/USAMI 3000</p><p> #3 - </p><p> #4 - Apolinario</p><p> #5 - El Fenix</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Tag Power List</strong></p><p> #1 - Masked Mayhem 2.0 - Tag Champ</p><p> #2 - SpaceWolf/Y2 </p><p> #3 - Wara-Gawa</p><p> #4 - Immortals</p><p> #5 - 4S</p></div><p></p><p></p>

He dominated the small wrestler and beat him pillar to post before claiming him via the dreaded Cyborg Takedown. He takes Kikugawa next and Wara-Gawa will be hoping for a better result.</p><p> </p><p> The 2nd round of the Round Robin Challenge pitted Ryder against Juki. Though it was competitive, <strong>Juki got himself injured when he suffered a ruptured supraspinatus</strong>. The match had a foregone conclusion at this point as Ryder capitalized with an Invasion From 13th Planet.</p><p> </p><p> Before his final round robin match against Dark Wolf, Kisanuki decided to make a bold move challenging Fenix for the #5 position. Though he fought valiantly, years of experience of El Fenix held him in good steady and he could overcome his younger foe with a well-timed Fenix Splash.</p><p> </p><p> ICHIBEI came out to the sounds of heavy guitar riffs doing his usual head banging routine and then performed a song which the crowd sang along before he announced that for long, these place had been long held down by the shameless manipulative idiots and it’s time that a true rockstar takes his place at the top of the mountain and since all the manipulators are clogging the top of the rankings, it’s time to take them down one by one and it begins with Ares. Jesus Rio comes down and says that before he can challenge Ares, he must go through Rio who wants his ranking in the Power List.</p><p> </p><p> After that charismatic promo from ICHIBEI, crowd was fully behind the rockstar and he had an extra edge in his performance and he managed to tackle the MMA skills of Rio blocking his takedowns, dodging his strikes before breaking out barrage of punches of his own. Dark Wolf waited for his chance at the spotlight and he grabbed it when he landed a diving knee on the back of Tigre before a short arm clothesline forced him out of the ring for a breather. </p><p> </p><p> USAMI hanged on in the middle and despite on the receiving end of offenses from both of his competitors, he slowly gained momentum when he dodged a clothesline from Dark Wolf, no sold a chop and then delivered a standing dropkick. Scott again carried the match and it remains to be seen how long he carries his team.</p><p> </p><p> Last show, it was Sugawara who fell to Dmitri and this week he faced the crazy Kikugawa. Even though he was in trouble tackling the crazed brawling style, eventually he countered and finished the match. The Ukrainian keeps going up the ladder and it will be interesting to see if he challenges any Power Lister soon.</p><p> </p><p> With USAMI and El Fenix tied at the 5th position, this match was a tiebreaker. USAMI dominated the entire match using his age factor as an advantage against the much older and broken down Fenix putting him away on multiple occasions with aerial attacks. But just when he was looking to hit 3000 Degrees Fahrenheit, out came Seung Zhi to distract the ref and with his attention all on Zhi, Apolinario once again sneaked through to hit another Volcano Driver and then laid Fenix on top of USAMI for the win.</p><p> </p><p> A video was shown hyping up the duo of Ares and Stonebreaker playing them as formidable opponents.</p><p> </p><p> ICHIBEI and Rhyno Khan were the opponents for the OI duo and considering the talent involved, Rhyno’s weakness was masked pretty well. Stonebreaker and Rhyno once again exchanged the spots that they had done in their last month’s title clash with Rhyno using power moves while Magnus using all kinds of painful holds to tie the monster up. ICHIBEI and Ares came face to face before their upcoming match and they started exchanging big hands. A haymaker from the rockstar startled Ares before he took advantage and Heavy Metal Hangover brought a shock upset for ICHIBEI.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="42843" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">MATCH OF THE NIGHT</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i66.tinypic.com/2ug2j5e.jpg</span><span>http://i68.tinypic.com/30c80gp.jpg</span><span>http://i65.tinypic.com/2rgz6go.jpg</span><p> <strong>Dark Wolf II</strong> vs <strong>Yukio Kisanuki</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Kisanuki knowing fully well that he was out of reckoning for a tag title shot due to his partner being out injured came into this match trying to upset the momentum of Dark Wolf.</p><p> </p><p> Wolf was a little complacent knowing he had the title shot in his bags and he took the match lightly but was punished for the same as Kisanuki was in no mood to let go. A corkscrew moonsault started the proceedings before a frog splash earned a 2.9 count for Kisanuki.</p><p> </p><p> He kept the pressure up and despite Wolf’s attempts at countering with a frankensteiner and a springboard body drop, Kisanuki would always kick out.</p><p> </p><p> A Wolf’s Call attempt was dodged when Kisanuki slammed down Wolf from the air borne position and then hit his own Driving Elbow for the win and it was bittersweet as though he would not be fighting for the tag title, he replaced Wolf as the new #3 in the Openweight Power List.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Heavyweight Power List</strong></p><p> #1 - Akira Taguchi - Heavyweight Champ</p><p> #2 - Amado Ocampo - Iron Cup Winner</p><p> #3 - Ares</p><p> #4 - ICHIBEI</p><p> #5 - Jesus Rio</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Openweight Power List</strong></p><p> #1 - Magnus Stonebreaker - Openweight Champ</p><p> #2 - Tigre De Plata</p><p> #3 - Yukio Kisanuki</p><p> #4 - Apolinario</p><p> #5 - El Fenix</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Tag Power List</strong></p><p> #1 - Masked Mayhem 2.0 - Tag Champ</p><p> #2 - SpaceWolf</p><p> #3 - Wara-Gawa</p><p> #4 - Immortals</p><p> #5 - 4S</p>
