mwalter
When you are recruiting corners or safeties, how do you know which type is which? Some corners are cover, some are zone, some are balanced, but I don't think we see that designation when we recruit, unless I'm missing it. Arlie Rahn
You have to look at their 40 times, scouting report, leaping and strength (in addition to their overall potential rating). A faster corner is usually better suited for man, while leaping ability may help a zone corner. Agility is also important for both and can be sometimes found in the Potential scouting report. Look at their HS stats too, a corner who had a lot of PDs should be solid at man (when combined with other attributes). For safety, strength is more important for a box safety and instincts/speed/agility for a cover guy. The potential scouting report can tell a lot too.
