Ted Ross: "Two titles on the line tonight and most importantly we will see the end to the Gilbert brother's feud. It has all built up to this Manitoba Deathmatch."

Terry Smith: "Truly the most destructive and inhuman match we can have here in 4C. Both men might not survive. We are ready to kick off some action and....hey look at that."

Ted Ross: "Roxy! My love!"

Robin Newman vs Preston Fuller with Roxy and Shiva

Robin is in over his head. He is already out sized by Preston, but he also has to keep an eye on both Roxy and Shiva. Preston is all business as he takes down Robin and has his way with the small youth. Poor Robin has little chance and quickly gets taken out with Preston's North End Slam.

Winner: Preston Fuller

Rating: 24

After the match Roxy and Shiva join Preston in the ring. Roxy is all smiles and she jumps into Preston's arms and gives his cheek a lick before getting set back down. Shiva gets a microphone while she is doing this and hands it over to Roxy so she can speak.

Roxy: "I want to shake things up here and I just keep finding the right guys to do it. These two are going to get me the gold I want. These two are going to be my pretty little hurt machine."

She just grins and leads both men to the back.

Rating: 28

Ted Ross: "I need to learn to wrestle STAT. I need her to notice meeeeeeee."

Terry Smith: "Will you stop? We got a show to do and you are not cut out to be a wrestler."

Nathaniel Ca$ino vs Zak Attack

Fast paced match between the two. Ca$ino is the one looking continue to rebuild his momentum after losing the title and failing to win it back. Zak puts forth a good effort, but he is just a bit outmatched in this case. Ca$ino controls the match for the majority of it and he puts Zak away with a Double or Nothing.

Winner: Nathaniel Ca$ino

Rating: 38

Terry Smith: "Nice win there for Casino who was in bad need of it."

Ted Ross: "He had a tough start to the year, but is looking to turn it around now. A few more impressive wins like this and he might get another title shot sooner or later."

Terry Smith: "Well the plunder is being set up. It is that time, Ted. We are about to say goodbye to one of the Gilbert brothers."

Ted Ross: "I don't know if I can watch. This is going to be a mess."

http://i.imgur.com/yUpc6h6.jpg

Joe Gilbert vs Jesse Gilbert

Both men look ready to go at one another but....

http://i.imgur.com/yKUMD0o.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/OVs3kCC.jpg

Morgan Malone and Hudson Drake jump the brothers and start to beat them down. They start using whatever weapons they can get their hands on to brutalize both Joe and Jesse. They have both brothers a bloody mess in a matter of minutes and a table is set up. Malone throws Joe onto the table and Drake throws Jesse off the top rope to the outside to crash onto Joe and both men are left in a heap. The champs just high five and mock the Gilbert brothers before leaving.

Rating: 31

Terry Smith: "What the **** was that!? Morgan Malone and Hudson Drake just took out both Gilbert brothers before the match could even start!"

Ted Ross: "This was supposed to be a match to remember, but instead both Gilberts are left in a heap while medics go to check on them."

Terry Smith: "Well we wondered if either brother would survive, but I never expected things to end like this. It will be a moment as all of this is cleaned up."

Eric Blackley and Leftie Wilkes vs TJ Bailey and Clutch McKane

Pretty standard fare tag match. Eric and Leftie control it for the most part despite having less experience working together than TJ and Clutch. Clutch tags TJ in who begins to roll. Eric has enough wits about him to thumb TJ right in the eye and stall the momentum. Eric and Leftie continue to work over TJ and eventually Leftie takes Clutch out of the equation as Blackley puts TJ away to score the pin.

Winners: Eric Blackley and Leftie Wilkes

Rating: 42

Terry Smith: "A nice win there. These two could make a good tag team if they decided to stick together."

Ted Ross: "Maybe, but both men seem more hungry for singles gold. Never a bad idea to have a fall back plan I suppose."

K Strong © vs Mosher

A bit of an underwhelming bout. Mosher is perhaps not ready for a title fight like this and combined with K Strong not exactly being the hard core type this match falls a bit flat. Mosher starts out strong, but it doesn't last long. K Strong fights back and starts to demolish Mosher with some big hits. He strikes a few poses to show off his new physique then puts Mosher away with a Special K.

Winner and Still Champion: K Strong (Defenses: 3)

Rating: 37

Terry Smith: "Nice win there for the champ. K Strong remains unbeaten here in 4C."

Ted Ross: "Mosher did better than I expected, but it shows he needs more seasoning. A veteran like K Strong was just too much for him."

http://i.imgur.com/yUpc6h6.jpg

http://i.imgur.com/uKcBn6w.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/Oo3AVvJ.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/YTGIe2a.jpg

Larry Wood vs Eric LaMonica

Eric is introduced as the newest Combat Academy graduate and he is broken in the hard way. The crowd don't seem too impressed by the rookie and instead cheer for Larry who is absolutely tossing Eric about and treating him like a ragdoll. Larry is showing some mercy at least. He seems to get bored of tossing Eric about and nails him with the Big Boot.

Winner: Larry Wood

Rating: 40

Larry Wood instantly grabs a microphone after throwing Eric out of the ring.

Larry Wood: "Chris Flynn! Me and you next month! Chaos in a Cage! I'm going to skull**** you!"

Rating: 52

Ted Ross: "Is it me or is Larry really high strung?"

Terry Smith: "Why don't you go down there and ask him?"

Ted Ross: "No...no that is okay. And I guess welcome to 4C, Eric LaMonica."

Terry Smith: "Not the debut I would have wanted, but nothing can be done about it now."

http://i.imgur.com/yUpc6h6.jpg

http://i.imgur.com/VQ8LOgQ.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/Oo3AVvJ.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/Tmpy7UX.jpg

Frankie Dee vs Rajah

A good hard hitting match between two of the bigger names of the roster. A nice back and forth match too with each man having to dig deep to keep themselves in the match. Dee relies more on his kicks and strikes, but Rajah constantly brings items from ringside into the equation to try and even things up. He bounces a toaster off of Dee's head which busts Dee open and just seems to anger the former champ. Dee just starts to lay into Rajah. Dee is relentless and a bit kick stuns Rajah long enough for Dee to follow up with the Shinanju Kick.

Winner: Frankie Dee

Rating: 56

Terry Smith: "Frankie Dee was worked into a frenzy and it pays off."

Ted Ross: "He is usually a calm and collected man, but when he snaps I think he is actually more dangerous. Rajah just found that out."

Terry Smith: "Big win after losing the title for Dee. Another win or two like that and he will be facing off with Ali soon enough."

Ted Ross: "Not sure if we can count out Too Hot. He is a former champion himself."

Terry Smith: "I'll eat Too Hot's hat if he wins."

http://i.imgur.com/yUpc6h6.jpg

http://i.imgur.com/I06uAQa.jpg

4C Championship

http://i.imgur.com/Ew2OExn.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/Oo3AVvJ.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/zfi5uSt.jpg

Sayeed Ali © vs Too Hot

Too Hot tries to get the jump on Ali and it works for a bit, but he is just overpowered and the champ starts to control. Too Hot puts forth a valiant effort and even gets a few good bouts of offense. Ali perhaps was just too cocky and he pays for it and even gets close to being pinned by a surprise roll up. Then he gets serious and he starts to really lay into Too Hot. Busts Too Hot open the hard way and once he has Too Hot in a compromising position the champ puts up a table. He powerbombs Too Hot through the table then hits the GBH Driver for extra measure.

Winner and still Champion: Sayeed Ali (Defenses: 1)

Rating: 57

Terry Smith: "He tried, but Sayeed Ali is just too much for Too Hot."

Ted Ross: "I guess you don't have to eat a hat this time around. Still a good match."

Terry Smith: "That is it for us tonight. Next month is the big one folks. Best of the Best 21! Can you believe it, Ted?"

Ted Ross: "Best of the Best is old enough to drink!"

Terry Smith: "Well...yes. Yes it is I guess. Uh...goodnight everyone!"

Final Rating: 53

http://i.imgur.com/yUpc6h6.jpg

- Referee Andy Gordy had shown up late for the show this evening. Usually a model employee it is said Larry Wood had a talk with him to make sure it never happens again.

- Seems Clutch McKane has another higher up not too impressed with him. After the show Sayeed Ali apparently told Larry Wood that it might be best to let the kid go.

- While not as good of a show overall as last month, the final two matches were still being praised by Larry Wood and he was pleased with all four men involved.

Best of the Best 21

http://i.imgur.com/WJ5aNfa.jpg

Every June 4C holds what is probably their biggest event every year. Best of the Best is a long running staple that will be celebrating its 21st year. Due to budget concerns and overall a bad year for Canadian wrestling it is saying that perhaps this show might not have as many guest stars as it normally would. It has been confirmed Larry Wood is using the COTT to bring in some talents and will also have Thunder & Lightning defend their COTT tag team titles. As of right now Thunder & Lightning have only one defense so far which was at a CZCW show last month. Rumor has it that they will defend against a team from NYCW, but no team name has been confirmed. It seems Air Attack Weasel from CZCW will be visiting and taking on K Strong for the 4C Hardcore title as well. Best of the Best will also feature Larry Wood facing off with Chris Flynn in Chaos in a Cage and Sayeed Ali defending his 4C Championship.

http://i.imgur.com/yUpc6h6.jpg

The Newest Graduate

http://i.imgur.com/YTGIe2a.jpg

Eric LaMonica is the newest graduate from the 4C Combat Academy and made his debut by getting clobbered by Larry Wood. It is said the fan base wasn't very impressed, but given he is still very green it is expected he will get plenty of time to find a place on the roster. Eric is a small and agile cruiserweight that needs to work on the basics and doesn't seem to have much of a personality. It is unknown how long he is signed for, but the standard for most rookies is a one year deal.

http://i.imgur.com/yUpc6h6.jpg

New Team on the Block

http://i.imgur.com/FWrpuEW.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/6KwDkRa.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/VTuRJAB.jpg

It looks like Roxy Kitten has found herself another client in Preston Fuller. Much like Shiva he is a young talent that apparently Larry Wood is a fan of and he felt perhaps the best thing for both men is to work as a tag team for the time being. Roxy will continue to also be a good mouthpiece for both men who are a bit lacking in the personality department despite being rather solid, even if a bit stiff, in the ring. It is unknown if Roxy will continue to acquire new talent or just stick with her new team which she has dubbed 'Pretty Hurt Machine'.

It isn't much of a match. If anything more of a showcase to the newest tag team to join the ranks. It also seems the fans still aren't too sold on LaMonica. Shiva and Preston work well enough together and will only get better with more experience. They mostly bully their smaller opponents and eventually Shiva takes out Eric LaMonica with a Executioner's Kick.

Winners: Pretty Hurt Machine

Rating: 28

After the match Roxy joins her boys in the ring and seems more than pleased. She kicks a bit at the downed LaMonica then speaks into the microphone given to her.

Roxy: "The first of many victims to fall to my boys. I will continue to shake up 4C and they will get me the gold I want."

She kisses each man who somehow manage to remain stonefaced. Ted Ross is losing his damn mind in the process.

Roxy: "My lovely boys. They do love to hurt people and please me. Could a girl ask for anything more? Come now. We have work to do."

Rating: 26

Ted Ross: "That tears it! I am becoming a wrestler! Fetch me some tights!"

Terry Smith: "You sit right there. Besides you would aren't her type."

Ted Ross: "I could learn to be."

Terry Smith: "*Sigh* Just.....just get a hold of yourself. This is going to be another long night. DON'T HOLD YOURSELF LIKE THAT!"

Nathaniel Ca$ino vs Clutch McKane

Seems like another match to help rebuild Ca$ino after those back to back losses. It is sometimes easy to forget how smooth he is in the ring and even manages to get a pretty decent match out of Clutch (At least as far as Clutch standards go). A faster paced match than the last one with Ca$ino showing off his offense which ends with him putting Clutch away with the Double or Nothing.

Winner: Nathaniel Ca$ino

Rating: 38

Terry Smith: "Another nice win by Casino. He might be back in the title hunt sooner than later at this rate."

Ted Ross: "He seems to have K Strong in his sights. Or perhaps he is going to look to try and move up and challenge Ali?"

Terry Smith: "Maybe so. At the same time I don't know if anyone with some sense of sanity wants to take on Ali."

Thunder & Lightning © vs The Boys From the Yukon

It is speed vs size with the champs fighting an uphill battle most of the match. T&L's experience might be the saving grace that keeps them in the match and they begin to wear down the much bigger opponents and start to take advantage. T&L are finally getting the momentum they need when Isabella Encanta comes out and starts to cause a distraction.

http://i.imgur.com/OVs3kCC.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/yKUMD0o.jpg

Andy Gordy is trying to deal with Isabella when Drake and Malone strike. Malone pulls Lomas off the apron and tosses him hard into the post while Drake slips in the ring and hits Thunder from behind gets a few licks in to slip out and escape through the crowd with his partner. Isabella finally leaves and Andy turns about to see the challengers putting Thunder away with their finishing maneuver TIIIIIIIIMBER!

Winner and NEW Champions: They Boys from the Yukon (1st Reign)

Rating:43

T&L are still recovering when Drake and Malone reappear and stand alongside their manager with microphones in hand.

Hudson Drake: "Well that takes care of the undeserving champions. We couldn't have you continue to be an embarrassment to both 4C and the alliance."

Morgan Malone: "Oh what is the matter? You two look upset. I'll tell you what. Me and my partner here are in a giving mood. How about next month you face us and we will put the titles on the line?"

Thunder & Lightning are still hurting, but they seem to converse between one another and just start nodding. That only elicits a grin from the champs.

Hudson Drake: "Oh, and one other thing. You want the titles? We want something from you."

Morgan Malone: "See if you win you get the titles. If we win you two go packing and never come back. You can go hang out in a place like Pittsburg or something for all I care."

T&L do hesitate for a moment, but then the seem to agree as they shout 'You got it!' to the champs.

Rating: 44

Terry Smith: "Did I just hear that right? Thunder and Lightning are putting their careers on the line next month!?"

Ted Ross: "The champs have been a thorn in their side and I guess desperate times call for desperate measure, but they have never beaten Drake and Malone."

Terry Smith: "Emotions might have gotten the better of them."

Ted Ross: "But also the champs might just be getting too cocky."

Too Hot vs Eric Blackley

An even and competitive match where Eric spends the early parts trying to throw Too Hot off his game with strange antics. Too Hot is a veteran and it just doesn't really affect him like Eric was hoping. Good back and forth action some some nice high flying combined with good mat work. It could have perhaps been better, but Too Hot also seems to not be too much of a risk taker and it at times slows the match down just as the crowd was getting into things. Eric gets close a few times, but Too Hot comes out on top in the end with a Heat Seeking Missile.

Winner: Too Hot

Rating: 46

Ted Ross: "Too Hot picks up a nice victory there."

Terry Smith: "He hesitated a few times. I think this is why he is sort of where he is in the pecking order. Good enough to get through some guys, but seems to lack the drive to come out on top when facing the likes of Frankie Dee or Sayeed Ali."

Ted Ross: "It is a bit harsh, but a good point."

K Strong © vs Air Attack Weasel

It is another match marred a bit by K Strong seeming to hold back at times. Despite that AAW is just so crisp in the ring the match turns out well. It is more traditional style wrestling against the high flying of AAW and the fans seem to actually be more behind the visiting challenger. It does look like AAW might come out on top several times, but K Strong manages to kick out and hang in the match until he finds his chance. AAW just takes one too many risky chances and he comes off the top rope only to be met with a Special K kick right to the face.

Winner and Still Champion: K Strong (Defenses: 4)

Rating: 46

http://i.imgur.com/LJ4ThP7.jpg

K Strong doesn't even get a moment to celebrate his hard fought victory. Leftie Wilkes just blindsides him and beats him down in the ring. He then holds up the 4C Hardcore championship high in the air as if he just won it before dropping it on K Strong's prone body.

Rating: 28

Terry Smith: "What the hell? K Strong just barely survived by the skin of his teeth and Leftie Wilkes comes in to pick the bones."

Ted Ross: "It seems someone doesn't like K Strong's bravado and posing."

Terry Smith: "Well I think K Strong has a new threat to worry about and it isn't going to be a walk in the park. Leftie Wilkes is a dangerous individual."

Mosher vs Frankie Dee

Mosher has a long way to go, but matches like this will only help him. He starts off looking good due to getting the jump on Dee, but it doesn't last. Dee is just too tough and starts to fight back. Not a pretty much by most standards. It is just a hard hitting brawl with Frankie doing well to carry the match and make Mosher look better. It is no surprise when Dee wins though and he puts Mosher away with the Shinanju Kick.

Winner: Frankie Dee

Rating: 46

http://i.imgur.com/Tmpy7UX.jpg

Frankie Dee almost suffers the same fate as K Strong, but he catches Rajah trying to slip in and the veteran quickly decides to stay outside and instead gives a bit of a sarcastic clap while smirking. He gets a microphone and addresses Dee, but keeps his distance.

Rajah: "I admit it. You got me last month, but I also know you can't do it again. You consider yourself a honorable fighter? And not just any match. Next month is Iron Man Challenge so you know what I want."

Dee's gaze remains focused on Rajah. He just nods. Rajah seems pleased by the response and leaves without things breaking down into a fight.

Rating: 45

Terry Smith: "A good victory for Dee, but there is no rest for the former champ."

Ted Ross: "Rajah was looking to get revenge, but didn't work out. On the plus side the fans win because they get Dee and Rajah in an Iron Man Match."

Terry Smith: "For thirty minutes those two will do battle. I can't wait. And here we go, Ted. The cage is being put together."

Ted Ross: "Oh goody."

CHAOS IN A CAGE

http://i.imgur.com/XzD9jAC.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/Oo3AVvJ.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/uKcBn6w.jpg

Chris Flynn vs Larry Wood

This match gets brutal fast and Chris is opened up early due to Wood repeatedly ramming him head first into the cage. It might not be the most heroic way to slow the wild man down, but Flynn resorts to a low blow so he has a moment to recover and try to get some offense in. They start exchanging some heavy hits and they start to bring out the plunder. A stiff chair shot opens up Larry, but only seems to enrage him. Chris is able to endure the assault and Larry seems to start wearing down. Chris capitalizes and starts to go on the attack. Some big chair shots that finally fell the big man and a tired, bloody Chris Flynn makes the cover.

Winner: Chris Flynn

Rating: 49

Terry Smith: "Not sure how he did it, but Chris Flynn has defeated Larry Wood once again."

Ted Ross: "He took a hell of a beating. I thought him getting opened up so early was going to be the beginning of the end."

Terry Smith: "Chris has proven to be a tough, resilient individual. And beating someone like Larry Wood twice is no easy feat."

Ted Ross: "Speaking of no easy feat. It is time for our main event. Hugh de Aske faces off with the champ, Sayeed Ali."

Sayeed Ali © vs Hugh de Aske with Katie Cameron

It isn't in a cage, but the match is brutal in its own right. Sayeed Ali is just a vicious man and he even goes after Katie twice at the start of the match which has Hugh send her to the back to be safe. Hugh puts up a good fight, but it just seems he can't do enough to slow Ali and just when it seems he might finally have an advantage Ali seems to find some untapped energy and just keeps going. He looks like he is just trying to end Hugh's career at points the way he is picking apart his opponent. Hugh is defiant though and he doesn't go down easy. Sadly there isn't much he can do once he eats a GBH driver onto a chair.

Winner and Still Champion: Sayeed Ali (Defenses: 2)

Rating: 57

Terry Smith: "A nice try, but Ali just seems unstoppable right now."

Ted Ross: "It might take a rematch with Frankie Dee for there to even be a chance for the title to be taken off of him right now."

Terry Smith: "We'll see. Next month is the Iron Man Challenge. I am sure the champ will be defending his title in a 30 minute Iron Man match like usual."

Ted Ross: "So we will have two of those next month. Been a long while since that happened."

Terry Smith: "A few years from what I can remember. You won't want to miss it folks."

Final Rating: 52

http://i.imgur.com/yUpc6h6.jpg

- While not a horrible show, it was felt for a Best of the Best show things were rather lackluster. A bad year for both Canada's economy and wrestling industry probably played a big part as bigger names were not brought in to cut expenses.

- With that being said the main event did deliver in the eyes of Larry Wood and he was proud of both men. He was also very pleased to see how well Frankie Dee carried Mosher in their match. Even if it was filler it still ended up being on par with many of the other undercard matches.

- Eric Blackley's loss may have come from an incident before the show. He apparently was very unprofessional and insulted the visiting Howling Mad Mort. Larry issued a very stern warning and let everyone know that kind of attitude will not be tolerated. It is unsure if this will hinder Eric in the long run.

- It seems Lightning Lomas had something to say about Preston Fuller to Larry Wood too. Lomas watched the new team closely during their match and believes Preston should be held back until he learns to sell better. Larry will probably take that opinion with a grain of salt as he is a fan of Fuller.

Over the past few months fans may have noticed Larry Wood looking less and less bulky while Shiva has been putting serious work in the Jim to add muscle. It seems it was a deal made between both booker and talent in order to try and improve themselves over the course of a few months. For Larry it was weight loss to see if it helps him further prolong his already incredibly long career and reach his goal of wrestling into his fifties. For Shiva it was motivation to get the young talent to improve his look. It seems maybe some of the other members of the locker room have been motivated by these two since Lightning Lomas has also been working on his physique and becoming more muscular as well.

Hudson Drake and Morgan Malone have been rolling since capturing the 4C Tag Team championship for the second time. Through underhanded tactics and wrestling skill they have defeated any team that has come before them and it seems they have grown very confident. Of course maybe they should be in this case. Thunder and Lightning have agreed to put their careers on the line in an attempt to become a six time champions. Thunder and Lightning is easily the best of the best when it comes to the tag division, but the champs have been the one team they can not beat. This is an obstacle they must overcome or else we will never see them in a 4C ring again.

Despite losses each month so far this year it seems Larry Wood is reviewing tapes and checking out talent to bring in to compete in a 4C ring. His hope is to find young, hungry talents that can start to fill out a rather weak tag division as they work their way up the card and improve their skills. No names have come up so far, but apparently one signing was done just days ago. In this case it seems to be a talent that can make an instant impact and Larry Wood is said to be very excited. This talent may debut soon and could even make an appearance at the upcoming Iron Man Challenge while any other new signings probably won't be seen until August or September.

Even if the outcome is pretty much a give me the pair give an entertaining opening bout. Eric won't be climbing up the card anytime soon, but the fans seem less vocal about him this time around. It is mostly a showcase for Leftie who spends almost as much time trash talking to the fans than he does wrestling. One Boston Whiplash later and he picks up the win.

Mosher vs Zak Attack

A bit lackluster, but it is allowing two of 4C's younger homegrown talents to have a go at it in the ring. And while both men are about the same size it is a battle between two contrasting styles with Mosher being a brawler and Zak being a cruiserweight. It is a short back and forth contest with Zak being the lucky one to get the upper hand in the end. He hefts up Mosher and plants him with the Z-Bomb to get the victory.

Too Hot and Hugh de Aske with Katie Cameron vs Pretty Hurt Machine with Roxy

Pretty Hurt Machine are put to the test against two of 4C's best. They manage to do quite well even if for the most part is underhanded tactics that allow them to have the advantage through most of the match. Too Hot and Hugh end up being a bit more than the fledgling team can handle though in the end. The pair start to make a comeback and the always tough Shiva is disposed of by throwing him outside the ring and through a table that was set up during the course of the match. Preston then falls victim to a Heat Seeking Missile first then put away for good by a Cut Throat Driver.

Nathaniel Ca$ino vs Cal Sanders

More than likely not the surprise opponent people in the audience expected. Even so Cal seems to be making the most of his opportunity and shows off a slick technical style to try and keep his opponent grounded. Ca$ino is just too slick and fast though. The former 4C Hardcore champ gains the advantage after some time and never relents. Cal tries to fight back, but in the end he eats a Double Down and gets pinned.

Drake and Malone © with Isabella Encanta vs Thunder & Lightning

It starts off as a slow paced match. T&L are being cautious at the start and not wanting to make early mistakes. They do switch gears eventually and the sudden change of pace does throw the champs off their game. Several times T&L come close, but the champs either kick out at the last second or Isabella does her best to cause interference. In fact Isabella is the undoing of T&L. Lomas is going up top when Isabella jumps up on the ring and shoves him off. She quickly throws one of her heels to Drake who clobbers Lomas with it and scores the pin while Malone keeps Thunder from getting in the ring.

The champs celebrate in the ring as the crowd boos. Thunder & Lightning look dejected as they realize their 4C careers are over. They slowly start to walk up the ramp as the champs annoying sing 'Na na na na! Na na na naaaaa! HEY HEY HEY! GOOOOODBYE!'.

Ted Ross: "And who is left to take on the champs now? They look set to rule the tag division for a long time."

Terry Smith: "Well all I can say about this in the end is thank you. Thank you for all you have done for 4C, Thunder and Lightning."

Ted Ross: "I know it might be hard, but it is time to refocus. We got two big Iron Man matches now."

30 Minute Iron Man: Rajah vs Frankie Dee

Rajah quickly jumps Dee as he is coming out and starts taking a chair to him. The veteran is quick to capitalize and roll him into the ring to get the first pinfall rather quickly. He doesn't relent either and is quickly back on top of the still dazed Dee and continues to beat him down and tosses Dee to the outside where he delivers a VIP Pass onto the steps. It is only six minutes in when Rajah goes up 2-0 on Frankie Dee.

It is about that points where Rajah is getting cocky. He is giving Dee a moment to recover and then looks to go on the attack once more. Only this time he eats a stiff kick. Dee starts to fight back and get a second wind. Rajah is sent reeling and eats a Shinanju kick that puts him down long enough for Dee to make the match 2-1 at about the ten minute mark. The momentum shifts back and forth with Rajah using an eye rake to finally start to regain the momentum he had had at the start of the match. It all comes falling about the moment Dee catches him with a surprise inside cradle and ties the match at 2-2 at the halfway point.

The second half of the match is brutal and hotly contested. Both men are giving it their all and just can't seem to get the crucial fall that would allow them to win. Kendo sticks, ladders, tables, and all sorts of other things get involved and it all culminates into the final minutes with Rajah on a table in the ring and Dee perched high on the ladder. He looks to Rajah and then gives a thumbs down motion before delivering a senton. Rajah moves out of the way though and Dee crashes through the table all by himself. Rajah is still hurting, but he manages to roll over and get a pinfall to go up 3-2 with only a minute to go. Dee still isn't moving as Rajah finally gets to his feet and waits out the final minute to pick up the victory.

Winner: Rajah

Terry Smith: "Holy damn that was a match."

Ted Ross: "I was thinking it was going to end in a tie at that point. Rajah's veteran instincts kicked in there at the last moment."

Terry Smith: "And we still got one more Iron Man Match to go. Somehow it could be even more crazy."

Ted Ross: "Sayeed Ali is involved. It is going to be more crazy no matter what. That man is a messed up."

Sayeed Ali © vs Chris Flynn

There was no attempt to really clean up the mess from the last match. Both men make use of the plunder that was already left laying about and they start to go at it. Flynn does an admirable job too going up against the larger more aggressive Ali. He even bloodies Ali first when he drives him head first into the ring post. That also serves as a bad thing because it just seemed to kick Ali into gear. Ali goes on the attack and just starts flinging Flynn about outside. The crowd near ringside has to scatter too when Ali picks up Flynn and just powerbombs him into the now empty chairs. Ali rolls Flynn in and goes up 1-0 around the half way point.

The second half is mostly Ali dominating. Flynn looks all but spent, but still seems to ask for more punishment which seems to make Ali even more angry if that was possible and that might just be Flynn's plan. He isn't perhaps as hurt as he lets on and when Ali is busy getting himself a Kendo stick he turns around to be met with a stiff chair shot from Flynn. A second one finally sends Ali to a knee and a third downs him long enough for Flynn to tie it with about seven minutes to go. Flynn has momentum on his side and he starts to take it to Ali. Time is running out quick though and Ali just won't stay down. Flynn motions he is going for the Flynn Lock to try and make Ali tap, but then he turns around and is met with a big boot.

http://i.imgur.com/uKcBn6w.jpg

The monsterous Larry Wood almost takes Chris' head off with the boot and he helps Ali get to his feet. The two exchange grins and Larry slides a chair into the middle of the ring. Ali picks up Flynn in the closing moments and delivers the GBH Driver and gets the final fall. To win 2-1.

Winner and Still Champion: Sayeed Ali (Defenses: 3)

Rating: 60

It doesn't seem like the two are done either. Larry goes out to get a table and Ali makes a throat cutting motion. It looks like they are about to put Chris away for good when a unfamiliar face comes out of nowhere and spears Ali.

http://i.imgur.com/z2QWgMZ.jpg

The new face quickly turns about and ducks an attempted big boot from Larry who climbed back into the ring and delivers some big punches to him before bouncing off the ropes and spearing him too. Ali grabs his belt and for the time retreats up the ramp with a dazed Larry Wood. Chris is helped to his feet by the man that saved him who is just staring down the retreating champ.

Ted Ross: "Don't trail off like that!"

Terry Smith: "It's Lassana Makutsi, The African Assassin! What is he doing here though?"

Ted Ross: "I don't know, but I am glad he showed up when he did. We might have had to say goodbye to Chris Flynn tonight as well if not for this Lassana guy."

Terry Smith: "This has been a weird night. I need to try to take it all in. We'll see you all next month."

http://i.imgur.com/yUpc6h6.jpg

- Overall it is felt the show delivered thanks to the two solid main event matches. Larry Wood was said to be pleased how things turned out and hopes shows can continue to be up to par with this one.

- Cal Sanders was brought in for a one night appearance for the time being. It is said Larry has considered hiring Cal and since he lives nearby the arena he was invited and given a match. While he did impress for the time being it doesn't seem like he will be joining the roster full time.

- Rajah seems to be realizing he might not have many years left as an in ring competitor. It is being said he has taken Zak Attack under his wing and is going to try to at least help one of the younger guys in 4C become a better worker and performer.

- After the show Thunder & Lightning came back out and were giving a round of applause by their peers. The team thanked the fans and said they might be back one day.

It almost seems strange not to think of Thunder and Lightning not being part of a 4C show. The most decorated tag team in 4C history lost in their last bid to become six time 4C Tag Team champions and in doing so it also spelled the end of their career in 4C. It seems it was a cost cutting measure on the part of Larry Wood. Jason Thunder's contract was up a few days after Iron Man Challenge and Lightning Lomas had about three months left on his own. There appears to be no animosity on either side and even a few years down the road the team could return. With their departure Thunder & Lightning have had their profile moved to the Hall of Fame section on the 4C website where they are the first team inducted with five total reigns as 4C Tag Team champions and a one time COTT Tag Team champion.

http://i.imgur.com/yUpc6h6.jpg

Cleaning House

Thunder & Lightning weren't the only ones that have been released after Iron Man Challenge. Larry Wood has made some further cuts as he looks to shift the roster and cut costs. Clutch McKane, TJ Bailey and Terry Smith all will no longer be with the company.

Clutch McKane probably saw the writing on the wall as many big names in the company had been in Larry Wood's ear. While given a chance he didn't apparently show enough promise to stick around. He is certainly young enough that if he can continue to improve we might see him back with the company in a few years.

TJ Bailey has been a long tenured member of the roster and a tag team specialest. And even a three time champion with Chris Flynn. After that team broke up TJ's stock fell. He was given Clutch McKane as a new partner, but they never really were competitive and only had one title shot since teaming together. Larry didn't see much use of him as a singles wrestler and it probably doesn't help he also has a bit of a known bad attitude. His cost was apparently the biggest factor in the end. TJ was making almost as much as some of main event stars and with his contract coming up he was seeking a raise. It is hard to say if TJ may ever return to 4C.

The surprise cut has to be Terry Smith who has been a long time announcer to the company. Apparently in this case it is Terry who has himself to blame for being released as a week before Iron Man challenge he had really started to have tension towards Frankie Dee for some reason. When Troy Winner confronted him about that it seems the two had a big argument that actually saw Larry Wood having to keep the two from coming to blows and firing Terry right on the spot. It is unknown who will be brought in to replace Terry, but Larry Wood is confident to find a replacement before the next show.

The African Assassin

http://i.imgur.com/z2QWgMZ.jpg

The end of Iron Man Challenge saw the debut of Larry Wood's newest signing, Lassana Makutsi. Larry has high hopes for Lassana who was let go of his developmental contract in RIPW about a week before Iron Man Challenge. Lassana has all the tools to be a big time player in 4C and it seems Larry is more than confident he can deliver by inserting him in a top level feud right off the bat. He has been signed for a multi year deal and will remain with the company for the foreseeable future.

The New Hires

http://i.imgur.com/1V7nfeu.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/gdqqHdM.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/vB7kpNj.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/fBBrVxw.jpg

Larry Wood has released the new signings he has made to add to the 4C roster. It looks like he went with young and exciting workers that will help fill some of the void made with some of the recent departures. Unlike Lassana Makutsi these four are more pet projects that will have to work their way up the roster through hard work and dedication.

The first two signings come from the West Coast of the United States. Bullseye works for fellow COTT member CZCW and has only been in the business for a little over a year. Cheech Kong has mostly worked for hard core fed Grimm SoCal Wrestling for the past few years. Both men look like they will be working in the tag ranks as the West Coast Boyz where they look to find success.

The third Signing is the young Kid Fantastic who was trained by Jacob Jett. With that relation it is no real surprise he has ended up on the 4C roster. Kid has been out the past few months due to a broken arm, but he has fully healed at this point and looks to make a mark in 4C. Right now it seems the plan is for him to team Zak Attack to help fill out the rather bare tag division. They will be going by the name Fantastic Attack!

The final signing is a bit out of left field. Yellow Flash has found decent fame working in South of the Border Pro Wrestling for a few years before his release a few months ago. It is a bit of a surprise to see him pop up in Canada given he could probably work for more money and have higher profile matches in his home country or even the United States. It is thought he came to Canada as a way to challenge himself and increase his name value in yet another country. Unlike most of the other signings it looks like he will be mostly used as a singles competitor.

Hugh de Aske is great, Ca$ino is also great. I prefer Aske by a small margin so he wins

LaMonica and Newman are the jobber here so WCB and PHM are the only two in contention. I go with PHM as I feel they're slightly more established

I hate Too Hot but Mosher is a jobber

I like Yellow Flash from a MHW save I did, he was never the guy, but he was a good talented competitor. I go with Flash, even if I think Blackley is a little bit more likely to win.
