We open with a highlight video from Bash at the Beach where "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan won the title in his first WCW match.

July 17, 1994, from the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida, it's the biggest event in WCW history.

Crowd's hot and the match has a ton of energy. "The Dirtiest Player in the Game" is controlling the match and tries everything to defeat Hogan.

Nothing Flair tries seems to work to finish Hogan. Suddenly Ric Flair has some brass knuckles, and wham! Down goes Hogan, while Elizabeth distracted the referee. "The Nature Boy" goes for the pinfall. 1, 2, Hulk-Up. "Damn it!" Heenan exclaims. Flair lays into him with rights, but Hogan is shaking it all off, of course. Hogan goes on full offense and finish Flair with the Leg Drop.

In an unbelievable match, Hulk Hogan defeated Ric Flair in 22:14 by pinfall with a Leg Drop. Hulk Hogan wins the WCW World Heavyweight Championship title.

The opening video is one of those weird remixes where they say a word five times in a row before continuing the sentence.

"Stunning" Steve Austin and Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat are backstage; an argument breaks out between the two wrestlers. Austin has a new handlebar mustache and his customary “Dragon Slayer” black trunks. Austin says he doesn't wanna touch another man's -- BEEEEEEEEEP and the next 10 seconds of dialogue from Austin are beeped as "Mean" Gene Okerlund looks more and more offended. Austin calls Steamboat a -- BEEEEEEEEEP and – BEEEEEEEEEP. Steamboat smacks him in the mouth and Austin goes down. Steamboat leaves and Austin rips his shirt and throws a anger tantrum...

Lord Steven Regal goes to the floor and begins to taunt some fans at ringside. Regal is walking around the ring while Pillman stalks him, but doesn’t do anything. Pillman gets a USA chant and Regal walks up the ramp way before coming back.

Regal with a Wristlock to open up the action but Pillman counters with one of his own as Regal reaches the ropes. Regal with a Arm Lock and takes Pillman down while keeping it locked in. Regal pulls Pillman down and keeps the Arm Lock on for several moments. Pillman with a Wristlock, but Regal goes to the ropes to break up the hold. Regal goes to the floor and stalls some more. Pillman goes to the floor and gets a baby face reception.

They lock up with Regal getting a side Headlock but is taken down by Pillman. Pillman goes for a Dropkick, but its blocked by Regal. Pillman goes for a Rollup and gets a near fall. Pillman with a side Headlock and comes off the ropes with a Shoulder Block and Regal again slides to the floor.

Regal sends Pillman to the floor and sends him into the guard railing and back into the ring. Regal with several left Elbows in the corner and stomps away on Pillman. Regal continues his offense by choking Pillman in the ropes. Regal pokes Pillman in the eyes and delivers a Uppercut. Regal locks in a Arm Lock again and Pillman slowly gets to his feet. Pillman starts to fade as he is sent back down, but pulls himself up and battles out with a few Elbows and a sunset flip and gets a near fall. Regal with a Forearm Shot but is met with a Head Butt to the midsection and head. Regal gets up and kicks Pillman in the face and sends him to the floor.

Pillman with a Shoulder Block off the apron and a Cross Body for a near fall back in the ring. Regal stops Pillman with a few boots and a Uppercut for a near fall. Pillman with several Chops and right hands and takes Regal down with a Backdrop. Pillman with a Head Scissors take down and goes up top. Pillman leaps off with a Cross Body but Regal rolls through for a cover but Pillman kicks out! Pillman eats a Shoulder Block in the corner. Here comes a couple of stiff Uppercuts and Elbows. Pillman starts to fade again. Here comes the Regal Bomb for the win.

In a decent match, Lord Steven Regal defeated Brian Pillman in 14:04 by pinfall with a Regal Bomb. Lord Steven Regal makes defence number 4 of his WCW World Television Championship title.

The announcers complains about some loudmouthed fan.

"Mean Gene" brings out WCW World Champion Hulk Hogan for an interview.

During his entrance a masked man dressed entirely in black runs out and bashes the back of Hogan's leg with a steel pipe and he goes down.

Chaos ensues as Hogan writhes in pain.

Hogan says his knee really hurts. Hogan gets medical attention. Eric Bischoff breaks the fourth wall and comes out as an official, not as an announcer, and Gene Okerlund is very anxious, thinking this is the darkest day in wrestling history. Tonight’s main event is in real jeopardy. A medic places a brace upon Hogan’s left knee as Eric Bischoff looks on. EMT's place Hogan on a gurney and take him backstage.

A Recap of the Rhodes vs Stud Stable feud. Gene Okerlund interviews The Rhodes in a pre-tape. "Mean" Gene mentions the long-standing rivalry between the Funks and the Rhodes, as well as Arn's past problems with Dusty, but that Dustin was really counting on "The Enforcer" to help overcome Col. Robert Parker and the Stud Stable.

Dusty is tired of seeing his son being backstabbed seemingly every time he wants a tag partner, so now he’s here to get revenge on the most recent offender: Arn Anderson. Plus, he just plain doesn’t like Terry Funk for reasons that go way back to the ’70s; and Bunkhouse Buck and "Dirty" Dick Slater are…just a couple of dirty rotten scoundrels.

Dusty is talking about evening the odds by asking his foe-turned-friend "The Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff to cover their backs...

They keep us tuned in to what is going on with Hogan in the back. He’s heading to the hospital via ambulance. A stage hand tells Bobby Heenan that Hogan’s injury may be fatal, resulting in a big grin on Heenan's face.

A loudmouth fan with a blow horn is making a lot of noise and berating The Rhodes.

Dusty Rhodes & Dustin Rhodes w/ Nikita Koloff vs Bunkhouse Buck & Terry Funk w/ Col. Robert Parker and Meng

It’s a big brawl to start with the Rhodes boys ruling and cleaning house on the Stud Stable. Terry Funk brings in a chair, but eats an Bionic Elbow before he can use it. Dusty Rhodes speaks with Dustin in the ring; he refers to Colonel Parker and his men as “Chicken Feed.”

Once the action settles down into a tag match, Rhodes avoids a surprising Monkey Flip from Buck and stomps him square on the face. Dustin gets cornered by the Stud Stable, but he fights out and cleans house again. Now Dusty tags in and delivers Bionic Elbows to Buck and taunts Funk a little bit. When Dusty tagged in the crowd erupted. Buck takes over on Dusty and whips him into the corner, but Dustin shoots up on the top turnbuckle to save his daddy from the impact. Bionic Elbow to Buck! Bionic Elbow to Funk! Double Bionic Elbows! He whips the Stud Stable into each other down in the corner for a good ol’ time.

Dustin tags back in and takes a cowboy boot to the head behind the ref’s back. Buck removed his boot and nailed Dustin in the head. False tag spot comes about and the Stud Stable encounter some miscommunication problems as Buck nails Funk with the same boot by accident. Dusty tags and goes to work on Buck, until Buck reaches the corner and manages to tag Funk. Terry Funk is crazy and goes on full offense. Dusty eats a stiff Lariat and Funk starts stomping Dusty’s arm looking to possibly to break it. Dusty wises up and dives for a hot tag to Dustin. Lariat to Funk! Lariat to Buck! Dusty delivers a pair of Bionic Elbows to the heels as Dustin hits Buck with the Bulldog!

Now Arn Anderson and "Dirty" Dick Slater comes running down to ringside and attacks Dustin. Arn gets into the ring and on top of Dustin for the DQ.

In a bout that had great wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, The Rhodes defeated Bunkhouse Buck & Terry Funk in a tag team match in 10:05 when Dustin Rhodes defeated Bunkhouse Buck when The Stud Stable were disqualified when Arn Anderson ran in and attacked Dustin Rhodes.

</a>Post Match Brawl

After the match Arn Anderson gives Dustin a DDT, then eats a Bionic Elbow from Dusty. A wild out-of-control-brawl erupts between the two sides. "The Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff goes berzerk in the ring and starts hammering away with stiff punches, clotheslines and kicks. But Terry Funk, Bunkhouse Buck and Dick Slater manages to corner and overpowered him. Bunkhouse Buck nails him with a cowbell and the trio begin to beat the crap out of Koloff.

Meanwhile Meng gets in the ring and he dares Dusty to take a shot at him. Dusty decides it’s best to leave…and grab a wooden chair. Dusty busts the chair over Meng’s head, but that has no effect. Yikes! Meng kicks Dusty down with a stiff Savate Kick and applies a Nerve Hold! The Nerve Hold left Dusty in a twitching puddle of jelly. Jobber Frankie Lancaster dressed in regular clothes comes to Dusty’s aid, but Meng dispatches him. The Stud Stable are loudly booed by the fans.

Col. Parker struts around like a rooster in a hen house puffing his cigar, with a big grin on his face. Various wrestlers from backstage tried to pull Meng off of Dusty and felt Meng's wrath as a result, and nobody could stop Meng until Col. Parker himself got Meng to release Dusty.

The Stud Stable finally leaves, so that The Rhodes and Koloff can get medical treatment.

Heenan is very pleased. This is hopefully the end of The Rhodes. Heenan says that he is a big fan of The Stud Stable.

After a commercial break Okerlund describes the attack on Hogan from earlier in the show. As he details the story, Heenan pantomimes playing a violin.

Meanwhile in the front row, some fan gets all rowdy yelling at the Nasties with TV-Y7 insults and honking an air horn. Maybe not the smartest thing to do...

Cause they are the Boys! They got a bad reputation! If you mess with the boys! Get ready for Pity City!

The Nasty Boys and the loudmouth fan is ready to go, but a number of officials and road agents pull them apart before they start swinging at each other...

Since the last time we saw the Nasties, they have become lovable brawlers again after being WCW’s top heel team for the last year. Lots of stiff clubberin in this match. The Referee barely has control of this which leads to all four brawling and a double disqualification after a wild-out-of-control-brawl.

In a decent match, The Nasty Boys drew with Harlem Heat in 11:33 following a double disqualification as a result of a wild-out-of-control-brawl. The match also had a lot of interference: with loudmouth Don King constantly trying to distracting Knobbs and Sags. It was obvious from the crowd reaction that they really liked the Nasty Boys.

Schiavone, Mean Gene & Heenan talk about Hogan's injury. They send it to LIVE footage of Hogan on a gourney being escorted into the hospital with Jimmy Hart and Ed Leslie by his side. Bischoff gets on the mic and says that Hogan claims he saw nothing he just felt a pop in his leg when he was attacked and he'll be back with more information.

Heenan couldn’t be happier.

Gene Okerlund is interviewing Vader and Harley Race. Harley says that Vader is unstoppable. Vader fears no man and he feels no pain! Vader is one of the toughest and most hard hitting wrestlers in the history of the industry.

"Hey Hacksaw do you think that some second rate loser buddy of Hogan can stop Vader?"

"The only man to hold versions of the World Title on four Continents, making him the closest thing professional wrestling has ever had to a true world champion."

"Vader; the current WCW International World Heavyweight champion that just destroyed Sting?"

Harley Race also reminds everyone that Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair can't keep running away and avoiding Vader. Vader will get his title rematch. Vader will take care of the Jim Duggan and then claim his title shot.

Jim Duggan vs Vader w/ Harley Race

Vader brawls with Duggan in the ring. Duggan delivers a Crossbody Block for two. He follows up with a Slam and some Clotheslines. Duggan misses an Elbow Drop, for Vader to take over with punishing Jabs. Brutal offense from Vader. Vader floors Duggan with a powerful Short Clothesline. A Pump Splash gets two. Duggan avoids a second Pump Splash, but goes down to a another body attack. Duggan eats a combo a stiff Jabs. Vader delivers a devastating Release Powerbomb and gets the three-count.

In a wild brawl that had great hard-hitting wrestling and good heat, Vader defeated "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan in a Short Leash match in 5:38 when Jim Duggan was knocked out with a Release Powerbomb.

Rating: 75 B-

Heenan is in a good mood. He seems very happy with Vader beating the crap out of Hacksaw. Heenan doesn't like Duggan and calls him an idiot.

”Mean” Gene Okerlund interviews Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel: If Hogan can’t make the title match, Flair will win the WCW world title belt by forfeit. Heenan seems delighted by the news.

The DQ rule has been waived for this match; meaning if Austin loses by disqualification, Steamboat wins the belt. Steamboat controls early with a Headlock and changes over to an Armbar. Austin shoves out and starts up a series of nearfalls between the two. Back to the Armbar. Austin breaks free by throwing Steamboat out to the floor. On the floor, Steamboat chases Austin around the ring for a Double-Chop. Back in the ring, they exchange Sleeper Holds, but Austin gets the best of that with a Jawbreaker.

Steamboat avoids a Corner Charge which causes Austin run his shoulder into the post. Steamboat walks the ropes and drops Austin’s arm down hard across the top rope before nailing him with a Flying Judo Chop. That gets two.

The loudmouth fan starts barking at Steamboat, and Austin breaks free from an Armbar and starts slapping Steamboat around. Steamboat escapes a Chinlock, but a Splash off the ropes hits knees. Austin covers for two. He follows up with a Vertical Flying Elbow Drop for another nearfall. Steamboat puts the brakes on a Suplex and decides to take it to that next level by placing Austin in the corner for a Superplex. Austin shoves him down awkwardly on his tailbone.Austin gets crotched all the same, but still manages to block the Superplex!

Now he gets caught coming down on Steamboat, but Slams him down face-first during a Flying Bodypress attempt. Austin starts slapping the challenger around. Steamboat gets "Fired Up" and Double-Chops the crap out of Austin. Steamboat delivers an awesome "Arn Anderson" Spinebuster.

Austin tries to leave by climbing the top rope apparently and gets taken down to the mat with an Electric Chair Drop for 1-2-No! Steamboat goes wild with tons of Rollups and nearfalls. Austin dumps Steamboat out of the ring, but Steamboat flips back in and rolls up Austin for 1-2-No! Steamboat blocks a Slam with a Small Package for 1-2-No! While Terri, Toni and Jeannie distracts the referee, Austin quickly nails Steamboat with a illegal low blow, followed by a Stun Gun.

In a bout that had sensational wrestling and good heat, Steve Austin defeated Ricky Steamboat in 20:30 by pinfall with a Stun Gun after Terri, Toni and Jeannie interfered. Steve Austin makes defence number 20 of his WCW United States Championship title.

We finally see this loudmouthed fan that the announcers have been complaining about all night. He has the looks of a truck driver and a bully.

Bischoff is live at the hospital and interviews Henry Holmes, Hogan’s attorney. He’s a busy man these days. He tells us that Hogan is going against his advice and everyone else’s advice and says that he will be at the Clash to face Ric Flair. Holmes wants Hogan to concede the belt in exchange for the first shot at Flair. He’ll get the first title shot in exchange. Hogan won’t listen of course so apparently he’ll try to wrestle.

Hogan's cronies the "Mouth of the South” Jimmy Hart and Ed Leslie appears and says that Hogan is going to do what he wants. Hulkamania is just too powerful and unstoppable!

"The Nature Boy" says he knows Hogan's here but says it's best that Hogan come out and just forfeit the belt to him, so he doesn’t have to get hurt anymore. WOOOOOOOO!

Here comes the champion Hulk Hogan with his manager "The Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart. Hart is shouting on the Hulkamania megaphone while jumping around. "The Hulkster Rules! He's ready for a fight! He's calling for his pythons! The Hulkster Rules!"...

The loudmouth fan manages to honk his air horn really close to Jimmy Hart's ear. Hart gets taken completely by surprise and trips to the floor. Bobby "The Brain" Heenan starts to laugh. He think this is hilarious...

That's it! Enough is enough! WCW Security arrives and finally throws the loudmouth fan out of the arena...

Heel colour commentator Bobby "The Brain" Heenan hypes Ric Flair and keeps bashing Hogan on commentary with anti-Hogan remarks.

Ring announcer Michael Buffer is announcing the main event of the evening.

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair grabs the microphone: “Bring me the title now!”

"The Immortal" Hulk Hogan does his entrance doing a fantastic sell job limping, that is until he gets into the ring and lunges at Flair and beats him down to the mat. Hogan chases Flair around the ring with the Championship belt, looking for a chance to use the belt as a weapon. Heenan complain over Hulk's actions.

The match finally begin and Flair goes for the bad knee. Hogan kicks away the Figure-Four, so Flair goes to work on the knee some more. Now it’s Figure-Four time again. Hogan sells and then powers out. He continues to limp around while Flair kicks him in his bad knee until he points the finger. Hulk-Up. "Damn it!" Heenan exclaims. Hogan hits the Big Boot and Legdrop, but his knee gives out. No cover and Flair wakes up and grabs the Figure-Four again until Hogan reverses the hold. Crowd's hot and the match has a ton of energy.

Flair does tremendous spots with Hogan's leg and just absolutely tears at it. He drags Hogan around the outside of the ring by his leg and starts unraveling the gauze causing Hogan to hop around on one leg.

While the ref is talking to Jimmy Hart and is distracted, Elizabeth throws some Brass Knuckles to Flair. Flair quickly punches Hogan with the Brass Knuckles; before getting rid of them by throwing them back to Elizabeth. Flair gives the Figure-Four another try and this time it work's. Flair wins and is the new WCW World Heavyweight champion! YES! YES! YES! Heenan exclaims. Heenan is very happy and says "Today is one of the happiest days of my life!"

In an unbelievable match, Ric Flair defeated Hulk Hogan in 20:10 by submission with a Figure Four Leglock after interference from Elizabeth. Ric Flair wins the WCW World Heavyweight Championship title.

Having picked up the victory, Ric Flair celebrates in the ring together with his valet Elizabeth, but quickly leaves the arena when Hogan wakes up...

The Masked Man comes out again and whacks Hogan in the back of the leg with a lead pipe. The Masked Man continue to punishing Hogan’s bad knee.

Sting bolts out to help his new best friend Hulk Hogan, but the Masked Man quickly disappears before Sting can catch him.

Sting and Jimmy Hart help Hogan to the back. Hogan is taken back to the hospital to end the show...

Who is the Masked Assailant? Hogan has unquestionably made his fair share of enemies since making his WCW debut. Or is the Masked Man someone from Hogan's past?
