Pretty boy Damon Stryker got whupped by "Mr Wonderful". In a squash match that had sub-par wrestling and little heat, Paul Orndorff defeated Damon Stryker in 1:52 by pinfall with a German Suplex. After winning the match Orndorff rubbed Stryker's face on the mat while taunting and insulting him. There's simply no one as beautiful as "Mr Wonderful". Some pretty boy that isn't dry behind the ears isn't stealing any spotlight from "Mr Wonderful". You got to pay your dues.

The Gambler puts in a valiant effort in the ring, but The Guardian Angel takes the win. In an extremely short match, The Guardian Angel defeated The Gambler in 5:16 by pinfall with a Spinning Swinging Side Slam. The Gambler seems to have a cult following among the fans of “Saturday Night” who’d chant for him during the match.

But Angel hulks up and fights back. The two powerhouses get into an extremely entertaining punching battle, until a host of wrestlers, road agents and staff pull them apart, before they tear the whole arena apart.

All four of the heels are all legitimately insane and they beat the hell out of the jobbers. Terry Funk chucks Zan Panzer over the top ropes and he takes a no hands free fall a good ten feet out to the aisleway. Arn beats the crap out of Sonny Rogers and finish him with the DDT to win.

The War Games Rules Are Discussed

The War Games match consist of two teams of five men each facing off with each other in staggered entry format.

The setup of the cage consists of two rings side by side with a giant ring-encompassing rectangular cage that covered both rings, but not the ringside area. Doors are placed at far corners of the rectangular cage so that the two teams can't come into contact before they are supposed to.

The War Games match consists of several periods. The first one-on-one fight in 5 minutes and all remaining competitors from both teams are each two minutes long.

The match begin with one member of each team entering the cage. After five minutes, a member from one of the teams determined by a coin toss, will enter the cage, giving his team the temporary 2-on-1 handicap advantage. After two minutes, a member from the other team would enter to even the odds and giving 2-on-2 tag team advantage fro the next 2 minutes. Entrants alternated between teams every two minutes, giving the coin toss-winning team the temporary advantage in the numbers game before giving the other team the advantage with the freshest man and even odds.

Teams continue to alternate during the 2 minutes periods until all ten men are in the ring.

Once all ten men has entered the cage, what is referred to as "The Match Beyond" begin. Both teams will brawl each other in the cage for as long as it takes until any member of either team submit, surrender, or is knocked out unconscious. There are no pinfalls, no count-outs, and no disqualifications...

Big brawl to start as expected. Brian Pillman chases Steve Austin around the ring, but runs into an Clothesline. Back in, Pillman Backdrops and Chops away in the corner. Pillman snaps off a Headscissors and Austin wants a handshake. Pillman kicks Austin in the face and they head out to the rampway.

Austin tries a Piledriver, but Pillman backdrops him and comes off the top, but Austin’s boot meets Pillman’s face on the way down. Austin shoves Pillman off the rampway into the guardrail for the chest-first bump. Austin charges at Pillman once he’s on the apron, but runs into a Slingshot Crossbody for two. Pillman charges right into a Hotshot and Austin covers for two.

Austin grabs a Half-Crab and uses the ropes for leverage. The ref finally catches him cheating and Pillman Chops back. Austin whips Pillman in the corner, but he catches himself and leaps back on Austin with a Back Elbow. Austin gets crotched up on the top turnbuckle, but throws Pillman down when he tries a Superplex. Austin flies down and Pillman catches him with a Dropkick. Cover, 1-2-NO!

Pillman Ranas out of a Piledriver for two. He tries for a Slingshot Crossbody from the apron again, but Austin catches him for a Powerslam. That gets two. Pillman hits a DDT for 1-2-NO! Pillman tries a Crucifix, but Austin falls back on him. Austin misses a Flying Splash and gets Rolled Up by Pillman for 1-2-NO! Austin reverses a Whip and tries for the Stungun, but Pillman counters and lands on the apron. He goes for a Air Pillman, but Terri grabs Pillman’s leg and sends him crashing down into the mat. Pillman is dizzy and Austin quickly nails him with a Stun Gun.

In a bout that had superb wrestling and good heat, Steve Austin defeated Brian Pillman in 16:05 by pinfall with a Stun Gun after Terri interfered.

<div style="text-align:left;">WWF spent the entire Monday Night Raw show pushing the "New Generation" catchphrase to counter WCW's signing of Hogan. Of course, it's ludicrous since the show was main evented by 38 year old Typhoon and 45 year old Bob Backlund that is even older than Hogan and the company has already brought back or is planning to bring back such "new generation" stars as King Kong Bundy, Jim Neidhart, Sgt. Slaughter, Greg Valentine, Koko B. Ware, Lanny Poffo and Nikolai Volkoff. They then interviewed Maryland's governor William Schaffer who was at the show. Schaffer mentioned that his favorite wrestler is Hulk Hogan, and Todd Pettingill nearly wet his pants and set a new record in mic-pulling-away-speed.

It's the PG era! Due to rumors of government regulation of violence on television, the WWF will no longer show crotch shots, 2-handed choking, eye gouging, or use of foreign objects like chairs and tables. In promos, you can no longer threaten physical violence, like promising to break someone's arm or leg or something like that. Razor Ramon can no longer flick his toothpick at people. On TV a couple weeks back, Jerry Lawler attacked Duke The Dumpster Drose and beat him up with a garbage can. Lawler came up with the angle himself but didn't clear it with the right people because everyone backstage freaked out due to the new anti-violence policy. The angle took place live on Raw and they pulled the camera back immediately and showed the crowd while it was happening, otherwise it would have been edited out. After a commercial, Gorilla Monsoon apologized to viewers. The following week on Raw, Lawler was legitimately forced to give an on-screen apology.

Jake Roberts leaves WWF and AJPW. Roberts has signed a written contract with AAA and are expected to receive a major push in Mexico.

PWInsider gives 5 stars to a The Warrior & Stan Hansen vs. The Holy Demon Army match from All Japan during the Firecracker Tour. Who would've thought that The Warrior would be an success story in Japan.

Kevin Nash reportedly contacted Sid Vicious and told him to call WWF because they were interested in him, but "The Master and the Ruler of the World" never called because he's supposedly not interested in working there at the moment and would rather work in All Japan, New Japan or WCW.

Akira Maeda returns to wrestling After being AWOL for quite some time, Akira Maeda last night resurfaced to make the announcement that he is back; is looking for work; and is keen to make a huge splash on his return to wrestling. The wrestling star, who has been on hiatus, is rumoured to be in the best shape of his career.

Bret Hart was back on the same radio show in Toronto where he made waves with his comments about Ric Flair last year and decided to do it again. When one of the hosts asked Hart's opinion about Hogan signing with WCW, Hart said it was sad and said Hogan built his legacy with the WWF but couldn't bring himself to put over younger stars so now he's moved down to the minor leagues. He also called Hogan's movie career "a dud, a disaster." When talking about the current Hogan/Flair feud, Hart said, "There's a lot of talk of Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair, this great match. The greatest match-up of all-time kind of stuff. It might have been the greatest match-up in some people's minds 15 years ago, but it's a little bit like that old Sheik wrestling in Detroit. It's like Bobo Brazil wrestling The Sheik. That doesn't do anything. I think you're really going to see that Ric Flair is very limited in the ring. In my opinion, his best days were over long before he ever lost to me. And Hulk Hogan, I don't know if anyone's seen him now. I'm embarrassed for him. The guy used to be a hero to me. I'm embarrassed to see what's he's become. It's like flogging a dead horse. The WCW thing, there will be some interest initially but it'll wane fast."

Word is USWA tag team The Eliminators may be getting a shot with WWF soon. There are some rumours that the young duo might be very high on the wishlist of WWF.

A cable company in Maine accidentally aired an adult movie instead of Summerslam. It only affected about 30-40 homes, but they still got lots of calls and complaints. The newspaper article talking about the incident reported one caller who said his 8-and-11-year-old children watched the movie for 15 minutes before they realized it wasn't the wrestling show.

WCW had a November show scheduled for Madison Square Garden, but the arena canceled the show this week and gave the date to WWF instead. WWF reportedly has a contract with the Garden giving them right to first refusal for any wrestling shows in the arena and therefore, they are choosing to run a show there that night simply to keep WCW out. WCW officials are furious and are talking about filing a lawsuit, but there's also talk that they may try to book the nearby Meadowlands arena across the river and run head-to-head against WWF that night instead, doing a Hogan vs. Flair main event.

WCW and AAA held meetings with Univision and others to discuss the promotional plans for the upcoming AAA PPV that WCW is producing. WCW will promote the event on their shows and use Mike Tenay for English commentary. It will likely be held in Los Angeles since the plan is to market the PPV to the Hispanic audience in America but also run clips promoting it on WCW TV to help get the Mexican stars over to American audiences in hope of building a future relationship there. AAA is also in talks to try to put together an English-language version one-hour show to air in syndication in America.

A lot of fans are critical of WCW for bringing in Hogan and building the whole company around him and sacrificing the future of the company for him. In PWInsiders opinion there was no future for WCW and it was necessary because WCW was on life-support. The only reason they hadn't already folded was 100% because Ted Turner chose to let it live. But WCW had been losing money for years and the Hogan gamble was necessary if they ever want to be profitable or successful. It might not work in the long-term, but it's a chance they have to take. Thunder In Paradise was also renewed this week, which means Hogan won't be around full-time. WCW is pretty much entirely dependent on having Hulk Hogan right now are expected to continue build the promotion around him for the next several years.

There's been rumors of Rick Rude returning to WWF, to be managed by SSW and ECWA diva Tammy Sytch.

Hogan is already talking about starting up a Thunder In Paradise spin-off series, starring himself, Sting, Ed Leslie, Jimmy Hart, Jim Duggan, Brian Knobbs, Jerry Sags and Mr. T.

Shane Douglas cut a promo in ECW, making some bitter remarks about WCW World Heavyweight champion Ric Flair and challenging him to a shoot fight. "Kiss my @ss, Dick Flair. Come on up, the invitation's there."

New Champion in New Japan. NJPW saw a title change last night, as Jushin Thunder Liger lost the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight championship to El Samurai. This victory marks his second reign with the title. Jushin Thunder Liger managed seven successful title defenses prior to this defeat.

Hulk Hogan was interviewed by a Florida newspaper and for the first time, he responded publicly to comments Randy Savage and Bret Hart have made about him. About Savage, Hogan had this to say: "I feel there's two kinds of people in this world, winners and losers. Whatever his personal problems were with his wife, that's his problem. He shouldn't drag other people into it. If he screwed up and can't keep his marriage together, he shouldn't blame other people for it. He should be able to handle his own problems. I considered him a friend, yes, but he was just using me. Hulk Hogan made him seven figures. If it wasn't for Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage would have never gotten to the level he did or made the money he did. Without Hulk Hogan, that doesn't happen. I thought we were friends, but it turns out he was just using me." As for Bret Hart, Hogan claimed he wasn't aware of anything Hart had said about him, so when the reporter told him that Bret had basically called him an old washed up dinosaur that had to go down to a 2nd rate company, Hogan's response was: "This dinosaur doubled his ratings on pay-per-view. He also made him seven figures. I guess it's better to be a dinosaur than a sore loser."

WWF experimented with a 30-minute live call-in show on the USA Network last Sunday night and it was a disaster. For starters, there were technical issues and pretty much every fan that called in only confirmed every negative stereotype people have about wrestling fans (aka: dumb, backwoods rednecks). PWInsider doesn't know if they screened the calls to make sure no smark fans would call in or if it was bad luck, or if the WWF fanbase is just that dopey.

Razor Ramon vs Yokozuna storyline. If rumours are to be believed, the next big WWF storyline will center around Razor Ramon going head-to-head with Yokozuna. Sources close to the booking team have indicate that the feud will be the focal foint of the promotion for somewhere between six and nine months.

In Tallahassee, FL (where Ron Simmons was a college football star) there were rumors that Simmons had died. The rumors got so big that all of the local media outlets in the area were working on stories about it until they found out it was a hoax. They had even gotten Simmons' college football coach Bobby Bowden to film a TV interview about how sad he was to learn that Simmons had passed away. A week later, an Atlanta newspaper heard about the story and joked that Simmons wasn't dead, but based on his current role in WCW, his career is.

Road Warrior Hawk plead guilty to 5th degree assault for an incident earlier this year and received a 90 day suspended sentence. Hawk was involved in a fight at a theater in Minneapolis back in March that was caught on security cameras, so he couldn't really "It wasn't me" his way out of it. As long as Hawk doesn't commit anymore crimes for the next 2 years, he won't do any jail time.

The Bushwhackers could be headed to WCW. Jimmy Hart and Jim Duggan are pushing to bring in the Bushwhackers. Nothing confirmed and Eric Bischoff isn't thrilled about the idea, but surely it's just a matter of time with Hogan being the head booker.

A recent marketing survey showed that 84.8% of Americans recognized Hulk Hogan by face, making him the 12th most recognized athlete in America. Magic Johnson, Muhammad Ali, and Michael Jordan were the top 3. Others ahead of Hogan included Mike Tyson, Arnold Palmer, Joe Namath, and others.

The plan for WCW wrestling to become a daily DisneyWorld attraction was nixed by higher ups at Turner, so that won't be happening and the headquarters will remain in Atlanta.

The latest issue of WWF magazine did an article that was a major burial of Hulk Hogan, talking about him being old and noted that he jumped ship to another promotion where most of the talent is past their prime.

WWF is airing skits where Leslie Neilsen of Naked Gun fame is playing a detective trying to get to the bottom of the Fake Undertaker story.

WWF apparently made a major play to try and steal Konnan from AAA after the success of the New York and Chicago AAA shows, but Konnan isn't jumping and plans to stay where he is.

E! Network did a feature on WCW, featuring several wrestlers. WCW United States champion "Stunning" Steve Austin in particular was great on the show.

Based on reports the "Lethal Lottery / BattleBowl" concept could return this year. The winner of the BattleBowl could be awarded a title match for the WCW World Heavyweight championship.

WWF has had serious discussion about bringing in Chris Benoit as part of a babyface tag team, no word on who the partner would be.

Paul Levesque did a radio interview where he buried WCW and said he was disgusted with all the money they spent signing Hulk Hogan. He also buried Eric Bischoff and said that he will prove him wrong and become one of the greatest superstars of all time.

PWInsider praise ECW as the most innovative wrestling in the country., The converted bingo hall is even smaller and trashier than it looks on TV and says that the company is so over with its fans that even the referees get chants. The shows are headlined every night by the best performer in the country today and we are not talking about Bret Hart or Ric Flair. We are talking about Sabu. During his latest match, he did crazy moves that blew away anything the 2 major companies have done on PPV and midway through the show, the power went out in the building and it still didn't dampen the show. Terry Funk asked the crowd for a chair and within seconds, it was raining chairs from the crowd.

With a street barrier slung over his massive shoulders, Roadblock certainly had an imposing look during his entrance.

In an extremely short match, fan favorite Sting defeated the towering 6-foot-10, 400-pounder known as Roadblock in 4:59 by submission with a Scorpion Deathlock.

Bobby Heenan was very impressed by Roadblock. Clearly this towering behemoth is one of the most talented up-and-coming wrestlers in WCW...

The War Games Rules Are Discussed

The War Games match consist of two teams of five men each facing off with each other in staggered entry format.

The setup of the cage consists of two rings side by side with a giant ring-encompassing rectangular cage that covered both rings, but not the ringside area. Doors are placed at far corners of the rectangular cage so that the two teams can't come into contact before they are supposed to.

The War Games match consists of several periods. The first one-on-one fight in 5 minutes and all remaining competitors from both teams are each two minutes long.

The match begin with one member of each team entering the cage. After five minutes, a member from one of the teams determined by a coin toss, will enter the cage, giving his team the temporary 2-on-1 handicap advantage. After two minutes, a member from the other team would enter to even the odds and giving 2-on-2 tag team advantage fro the next 2 minutes. Entrants alternated between teams every two minutes, giving the coin toss-winning team the temporary advantage in the numbers game before giving the other team the advantage with the freshest man and even odds.

Teams continue to alternate during the 2 minutes periods until all ten men are in the ring.

Once all ten men has entered the cage, what is referred to as "The Match Beyond" begin. Both teams will brawl each other in the cage for as long as it takes until any member of either team submit, surrender, or is knocked out unconscious. There are no pinfalls, no count-outs, and no disqualifications...

The loudmouth fan is making a lot of noise with his blow horn and and insulting Dustin Rhodes, but quickly shuts up after receiving a crazy and mean stare from Cactus Jack.

All hell breaks loose...

It gets out of control and descends into a crazed arena-wide brawl, which saw fists flying and chairs used as missiles. Bunkhouse Buck's is swinging away with his Cowbell. The Nasties puts Terry Funk through a table, Dustin Rhodes nails Col. Parker with a thrash can. The unstoppable Meng and the crazy ''Mr. Bang Bang'' Cactus Jack engage in an insanely hard-hitting brawl. "The Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff and "Dirty" Dick Slater hammer away at each other with hard-hitting offense.

The hardened and feared brawlers of The Stud Stable versus "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes looking for revenge; the sloppy and stiff Nasties; and the violent madman Cactus Jack. Team Rhodes and The Stud Stable are trying to teach each other a lesson by beating the hell out of the other stable, left and right!

The entire locker room and tons of officials come out to break it up.

That's a great suggestion. Maybe a monthly review/spotlight on one promotion a month, with rankings of the most popular promotions and wrestlers in the States. ECW deserves to be first because it's the birth of Hardcore Revolution and they currently deliver the best matches in the States. When more ECW wrestlers increase their overness so they can deliver even better angles, ECW will be a real force.

Other months focus could be on WWF, SMW and maybe USWA. SMW is delivering high quality old school stuff at the moment. It might be too early to say yet, but USWA might be going in the right direction. There last weeks have delivered their best stuff. So there might be some hope for them.

I'm working on Fall Brawl and i will hopefully have the prediction card up soon. I'm really hyped for Fall Brawl and i'm having a blast rebooking it. In 1994 Fall Brawl and Lethal Lottery/BattleBowl are the two PPV:s i'm most hyped about. I don't really care for the ratings, i just want to have a fun time booking it and deliver entertaining shows. The dream matches will be in Halloween Havoc and Starrcade, but Fall Brawl and BattleBowl are still more fun for me to rebook. This is probably the first save when i'm just having a total blast booking the show and it does't end up gamey just to win.

"Mean Gene" brings out WCW World Champion Hulk Hogan for an interview.

During his entrance a masked man dressed entirely in black runs out and bashes the back of Hogan's leg with a steel pipe and he goes down.

Chaos ensues as Hogan writhes in pain.

Hogan says his knee really hurts. Hogan gets medical attention. Eric Bischoff breaks the fourth wall and comes out as an official, not as an announcer, and Gene Okerlund is very anxious, thinking this is the darkest day in wrestling history. Tonight’s main event is in real jeopardy. A medic places a brace upon Hogan’s left knee as Eric Bischoff looks on. EMT's place Hogan on a gurney and take him backstage.

Bobby "The Brain" Heenan makes a Nancy Kerrigan joke. Maybe it was Jeff Gillooly in disguise? Heenan laughs at his own joke.

”Mean” Gene Okerlund interviews Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel: If Hogan can’t make the title match, Flair will win the WCW world title belt by forfeit. Heenan seems delighted by the news.

Gene tells us that Bischoff says Hogan is on his way back to the Arena. Heenan just cannot believe it and has a great devastated reaction.

That's it! Enough is enough! WCW Security arrives and finally throws the loudmouth fan out of the arena...

Heel colour commentator Bobby "The Brain" Heenan hypes Ric Flair and keeps bashing Hogan on commentary with anti-Hogan remarks.

Ring announcer Michael Buffer is announcing the main event of the evening.

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair grabs the microphone: “Bring me the title now!”

"The Immortal" Hulk Hogan does his entrance doing a fantastic sell job limping, that is until he gets into the ring and lunges at Flair and beats him down to the mat. Hogan chases Flair around the ring with the Championship belt, looking for a chance to use the belt as a weapon. Heenan complain over Hulk's actions.

The match finally begin and Flair goes for the bad knee. Hogan kicks away the Figure-Four, so Flair goes to work on the knee some more. Now it’s Figure-Four time again. Hogan sells and then powers out. He continues to limp around while Flair kicks him in his bad knee until he points the finger. Hulk-Up. "Damn it!" Heenan exclaims. Hogan hits the Big Boot and Legdrop, but his knee gives out. No cover and Flair wakes up and grabs the Figure-Four again until Hogan reverses the hold. Crowd's hot and the match has a ton of energy.

Flair does tremendous spots with Hogan's leg and just absolutely tears at it. He drags Hogan around the outside of the ring by his leg and starts unraveling the gauze causing Hogan to hop around on one leg.

While the ref is talking to Jimmy Hart and is distracted, Elizabeth throws some Brass Knuckles to Flair. Flair quickly punches Hogan with the Brass Knuckles; before getting rid of them by throwing them back to Elizabeth. Flair gives the Figure-Four another try and this time it work's. Flair wins and is the new WCW World Heavyweight champion! YES! YES! YES! Heenan exclaims. Heenan is very happy and says "Today is one of the happiest days of my life!"

In an unbelievable match, Ric Flair defeated Hulk Hogan in 20:10 by submission with a Figure Four Leglock after interference from Elizabeth. Ric Flair wins the WCW World Heavyweight Championship title.

We’ve got a new WCW World Heavyweight Champion!

Jimmy Hart jumps around like a little runt and desperately tries tells the ref what happened, but the referee didn't see any interference.

Having picked up the victory, Ric Flair celebrates in the ring together with his valet Elizabeth, but quickly leaves the arena when Hogan wakes up...

Before the match start, "The Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart talks about Hogan and the name gets booed out of the freaking building. Hart says that Flair is a bogus champion and that Hogan is the "Real" World champion. The crowd clearly doesn't agree.

Chaos! Mayhem! Destruction! It's a wild brawl that escalates when Kevin Sullivan go berserk. In a decent match, Ed Leslie and Dave "Evad" Sullivan defeated Kevin Sullivan and One Man Gang in 9:44 when Kevin Sullivan got disqualified after going into a rage and refusing to stop assaulting Ed Leslie.

The match is over; and Ed Leslie, Dave Sullivan and Jimmy Hart are still on the ground. Kevin Sullivan and One Man Gang decide to add insult to injury by continuing their brutal attack, and viciously doublestomp both Ed Leslie, Dave Sullivan and Jimmy Hart down into the canvas. Kevin takes Jimmy Hart's "Hulkamania" megaphone and stomps on it until it breaks.

Kevin Sullivan then proceeded to place the boa constrictor atop the stunned Jimmy Hart’s chest, his face contorted in menacing rage. Kevin Sullivan truly are "The Most Evil Man in Professional Wrestling of All Time". One Man Gang destroys Dave Sullivan with a big 747 Splash and then strangle him with the chain. Kevin Sullivan and One Man Gang then grabs Dave Sullivan by the legs and start to drag him out of the ring up the ramp towards the backstage area. The cleansing of Hulkamania has begun...

All Stingers in the crowd goes wild and unleashes a mighty roar...

Here comes Sting to the rescue and chases off the bad guys with a explosive barrage of punches, kicks and a Stinger Splash on One Man Gang that sends the big man crashing down into the steel railing.. Kevin Sullivan, One Mang Gang and The Fall Angel quickly escapes out of the arena.

Sting deliver his "Woo!!!" taunt. Pick on someone your own size. Don't get in his way cause if you do, your gonna have to pay. He's a Man Called Sting. He big as bull, and quick as a cat. He's not like, anybody else. If his or Hulk's friends ever need him, he's there to help. All over the world, he such a smash. You know it's over when does the Stinger Splash. Leslie, Evad and Hart are barely moving so tons of officials have to come out and help Sting take Leslie, Evad and Hart to the back...

"There are 3 types of men: tough men, wrestler-tough men, and then there’s Meng. The Face of Fear. A man truly feared and respected for his brute strength and unprecedented intensity.

Terry Funk volunteers to go in first. He’s freaking insane and hates The Rhodes since way back. Funk calls the Rhodes’ the “F.B.I., the Fat Boys Incorporated,” and Arn talks about how toughness will be what wins this match. Arn says you’ll have to kill them to make them quit.

Terry Funk looks crazy and starts barking at the camera to end the interview...

The Crowd goes nuts when Badd fires the Badd Blaster and launches confetti everywhere...

We get a shot of a loudmouth fan with a bullhorn in the crowd screaming insults and mocking Johnny B. Badd. Tony Schiavone says this fan seems to be everywhere WCW goes...

Steven Regal's Theme Song

Here comes his Lordship in person. Steven Regal is wearing a powdered wig to the ring. Regal riles the crowd up, waving the Union Jack. The crowd responds with a massive "U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!" chant.

Tony think that the powdered wig that Regal wears a is peculiar. Bobby Heenan counters by saying that Johnny B. Badd comes down to the ring looking like a gumball machine. Heenan can't help, but laugh at his own joke...

Johnny B. Badd wrenches the arm to start, until he delivers an Airplane Spin that puts Regal out on the floor. Back in, Badd whiffs on a Crossbody and Regal starts to rearrange Badd’s face with stiff Forearms. Badd makes a comeback with a Tilt-a-Whirl Headscissors. Badd tries to chain wrestle with Regal, but Regal has a counter for every move Badd tries. Johnny shoves his hips into Regal’s crotch to break a hold.

Running elbow drop by Badd missed. Badd tries with a boxing combination of punches. Regal battles a Sunset Flip for 1-2-NO! Regal fires back with hard-hitting Forearms and attempt a European Uppercut, but Badd sidesteps and turns it into a Rollup for the pin. 1-2-3! We’ve got a new WCW World Television Champion.

In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Johnny B. Badd defeated Lord Steven Regal in 14:26 by pinfall with a roll up. Johnny B. Badd wins the WCW World Television Championship title.

His Lordship just cannot believe his eyes. He just lost to an inferior American that has the looks of a transvestite. The devastated look on Regal's face is priceless. A British Lord losing to a American crossdesser, it's unbelievable. Badd celebrates with his WCW World Television title belt, while the crowd chant "U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!"

Don King is puffing a cuban cigar that probably costed him a small fortune. Nothing but the best is good enough for King.

Stevie Ray shuts up Marcus Alexander Bagwell with a knee to the gut, following by a Leaping Clothesline and a Bicycle Kick. Aggressive start by Stevie Ray on Bagwell, who responds with a Crossbody for a 2 count. Armlock and a twist by Bagwell who tags in The Patriot. Stevie Ray escapes and tags in Booker T who goes up top with no luck. Bagwell is back in with a Wristlock on Booker T. Another crossbody from Bagwell and Patriot gets one as well both on Booker T.

Double Hip Toss on Stevie Ray for a 2 count and Booker T grabs Bagwell from the outside giving Harlem Heat the advantage. Stevie Ray with a High Knee and a Inverted Atomic Drop brings in Booker T with his Flying forearm smash that sends Bagwell down into the mat. Booker T for a 2 count on Bagwell. Bagwell really needs the tag. Collar-and-elbow tie-up followed by multiple knee lifts to Bagwell's face

Booker T with a Dropkick to Bagwell and Booker T jumps to the second rope nailing an Harlem Hangover for a 2 count. Bagwell gets thrown over the top rope to the floor which, the ref doesn’t see. Stevie Ray uses this to his advantage beating up Bagwell on the outside. Bobby Heenan has a drinks cooler next to him at the announcer’s desk which Stevie Ray uses driving Bagwell’s head on to it and then pours the contents of that cooler ice and all, over Bagwell. Bagwell is soaked.

Back in the ring Stevie Ray goes for a High Knee followed by a Military Press Slam, but Bagwell counters. Bagwell makes the tag to Patriot. Patriot cleans house with Clotheslines, but gets a illegal low blow, a High Knee, a Bicycle kick and a Slapjack. Stevie Ray covers him for the 3 count.

In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Harlem Heat defeated Stars 'n' Stripes in 14:50 when Stevie Ray defeated The Patriot pinfall with a Slapjack. Harlem Heat make defence number 7 of their WCW World Tag Team Championship titles.

Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel is in the ring, and the reigning WCW United States champion "Stunning" Steve Austin is on his way to the ring. Austin is wearing his customary “Dragon Slayer” black trunks and his handlebar moustache.

Bockwinkel tells Austin he’s defending the United States championship tonight. Austin loudly refuses, but Bockwinkel over rules him. Bockwinkel makes it simple, either Austin will face the mystery opponent or he will be stripped of his title. Before Austin can leave, Bockwinkel stops him. Bockwinkel calls for the announcer to announce his surprise opponent.

Austin goes nuts saying that he isn’t prepared for Duggan. Austin swearing and insulting Duggan. The next 10 seconds of dialogue from Austin are beeped as Nick Bockwinkel looks more and more offended. Austin can’t believe it and tries to get out of the match. Bockwinkel is having none of it and while Austin is busy arguing with Bockwinkel, Duggan readies.

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan takes the Three Point Stance...

Here we go...

Steve Austin turns around, Duggan charges at him. Austin immediately sidestep to avoid the Charge, which causes Duggan run his shoulder into the post with full force. OUCH!

Terri, Toni and Jeannie quickly distracts the referee and Bockwinkel by flirting and showing some cleavage, Austin quickly nails Duggan with a illegal kick in the nuts. OUCH! That's gotta hurt! Followed by a Stun Gun. The referee turns around and Steve Austin do a cocky pin with his right foot placed on Duggan's chest for 1-2-3 while making a lot of faces taunting the crowd!

In an extremely short match, Steve Austin defeated Jim Duggan in 1:02 by pinfall with a Stun Gun after a distraction from Terri, Toni and Jeannie. Steve Austin makes defence number 21 of his WCW United States Championship title.

The crowd erupted in thunderous boos and the fans started throwing trash in the ring...

Austin takes some of the trash and force it into Duggan's mouth...

Angel finally avoids a Big corner Splash and School Boys Vader up for 1-2-NO! He takes Vader down with a Crossbody for another nearfall. Angel Clotheslined Vader over the top rope to the floor. They head out to the floor and engage in a hard-hitting punching battle, where Vader punches Harley Race by accident. Great selling by Race that crashes down into the steel railing. OUCH!

Back in, a stiff Cactus Clothesline from Angel. Angel tries to Slam Vader and does! The Angel connects with a stiff Uppercut. Angel gave Vader a Head Butt. Vader fights back with a brutal barrage of clubbering Punches. Vader nails Angel with a punishing Avalanche. OUCH! Vader tried another Avalanche, but Angel moved and Vader hit the ring post. OUCH! A stiff Enziguri by Angel. A powerful Guillotine by Angel followed by the Sliding Right Hand.

Angel inadvertently whips Vader into the referee. He still manages the Spinning Swinging Side Slam, and as Angel covers; Harley Race sneaks in and zaps him with a electric stun gun. That sets him up for brutal Triple Powerbomb from Vader for the 1-2-3. The thunderous Triple Powerbomb ended Angel’s evening. Wow! What a match! Great big man versus big man dynamic.

In a bout that had superb wrestling and great heat, Vader defeated The Guardian Angel in a Taped Fist match in 17:50 by pinfall with a Triple Powerbomb after Harley Race interfered.

This is a tremendous match! Explosive strength and power from Sting mixed with incredible selling from Ric Flair. Absolutely brilliant stuff by two guys who should be main eventing shows all the time. The crowd are completely nuts.

Sting knocks Flair off his feet, but Flair also knocks down the referee by accident. Elizabeth is distracting the dizzy referee. Before Sting can apply the Scorpion Deathlock the Masked Man comes out and hits Sting in the leg with a pipe! Sting falls to the mat and Flair gets up and applies the Figure Four Leglock. The Masked Man quickly leaves before the referee turns around. Sting taps out and the referee declares Flair the winner.

In an unbelievable match, Ric Flair defeated Sting in 29:25 by submission with a Figure Four Leglock after interference from the Masked Man. Ric Flair makes defence number 1 of his WCW World Heavyweight Championship title.

The match begin with one member of each team entering the cage. "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson start us off as Dustin climbs the cage to jump onto Arn. Wow! Dustin launched into Arn with a Flying Lariat from ring one to ring two. Arn tries to fight back, but Dustin Slams his back into the cage. Dustin rammed the back of Arn’s head into the cage three times. A stiff kick to Arn sends him in between both rings as Dustin picks Arn up vertically and tries to twist his head in between the rings. Arn escapes, but gets a Back Body Drop into the other ring and Dustin hits an amazing No Hands Plancha from ring one to ring two to take Arn out.

This has been all Dustin so far. Low Blow to Arn and a Clothesline puts Arn down. Dustin starts to work the arm, but Arn responds with a perfectly-executed DDT. He starts to violently choke Dustin with his wrist tape and but gets a 360 Clothesline. Dustin with an Dropkick in an attempt to fight back and gets a Half Boston Crab on Arn as we get told the 5 minute period is over and the next participant can enter.

End of 5 minute period

Buck made Dustin eat the cage several times. Ouch that's gotta hurt! Buck and Arn beat the crap out of Dustin with punches, stomps and kicks. Then they start to take Dustin’s arm out and then turn the focus to the knees with a Double Boston Crab.

The countdown is on and next in is Jerry Sags for Team Rhodes. This even the odds for the next 2 minutes. Time for a Nasty Clubberin'. Sags batters all of the heels to a huge pop. A lot of hard-hitting strikes from Sags that makes the match more like a shootfight than a pro wrestling match. Body Slam to Arn. Sags then slammed Buck back-first into the cage and then made Arn eat the cage which turns the table for Team Rhodes. A stiff and sloppy Piledriver from Sags on Buck and now it’s all Team Rhodes. OUCH! That Piledriver looked Nasty. Dustin traps Arn in a Sleeper Hold, while Sags applies a Chokehold on Buck, but the countdown is on...

"The Hardcore Icon" Terry Funk is on the outside and tries to throw a chair into the ring, but the cage has a roof on it so that isn’t going to work. What the hell was he thinking? Instead he picks up his left cowboy boot. Terry Funk gets inside the cage and he is nailing everyone with the cowboy boot. Buck and Arn double team Sags as Funk beats up Dustin right in front of Dusty. Arn holds Dustin so Funk can punch him in the chest. Funk is really enjoying to torture Dustin in front of Dusty. Heels get the big advantage and totally dismantle Sags and Dustin limb from limb. Funk climbs the cage, but gets caught up on the ropes and yet again the countdown is on. Arn and Buck beat down Dustin. Sags manages to out brawl Funk and hits a super botched Piledriver on Funk in between the rings and Funk falls underneath the rings. It looked real sloppy and super dangerous. YEE-OUCH! Sags practically killed Funk with that Piledriver.

Next in is Brian Knobbs. It was obvious from the crowd reaction that they really like The Nasty Boys. They´re stiff, sloppy and brutish in the ring. Time again for a Nasty Clubberin'. The heels immediately gang up on Knobbs, but he goes all firery babyface on them and starts chucking them one by one into seperate sections of the cage. Sags is back up and The Nasties are cleaning house, and sending the members of the Stud Stable to the cage. Knobbs then raked Arn’s face against the steel, making "The Enforcer" bleed. Whenever the numbers are evened up, the faces control the ring. The Nasty Boys destroyed The Stud Stable with some of the most vicious, brutish and stiffest strikes ever seen. They may be sloppy as hell, and more than a little dangerous, but they sure know how to brawl. Their ‘garbage’ brawl-style are very successful in these type of matches.

A perfect Spinebuster by Arn on Knobbs. The action is now in both rings as Buck starts to take his belt off. The time is up and next up is "Dirty" Dick Slater a dangerous badass and one of the most feared men in the business. Slater goes in and Dustin goes after him, but Slater beats up Dustin. Slater is a grizzled brawler and start to dishing out a punishing offense on the youngster Dustin.

In the meantime Buck and Funk have belts and are whipping the members of Team Rhodes. The heels have gone back in control. Knobbs gets the cowboy boot, starts swinging and nails Buck right in the head. Funk whips Sags with his belt. Dustin steals a belt and starts whipping Arn with it.

The last member of The Stud Stable is "The Face of Fear" Meng. Meng enters the ring and is enraged. Meng destroys Team Rhodes with some of the most vicious and stiffest strikes ever seen. A stiff Savate Kick and then a Headbutt on Cactus Jack. Meng beats the shit out of Cactus more, throwing him a bunch of times in the steel cage! Sick bumps by Cactus Jack. Cactus Jack takes an inhuman amount of punishment. Meng works on Cactus Jack mangled ear for a while and this only enrages Jack who hammer away on Meng's face with hard-hitting punches followed by a Cactus Clothesline. He beats the crap out of Meng for a while until Meng low blows him. Cactus, to his credit, matched Meng with shots of his own, to go along with his usual style of "I'll hurt myself if it means hurting you". A completely insane brawl with two of wrestling's toughest men beating each other up with a sickening thuds. What a brutal, bloody, and violent War Games match.

In the meantime Arn, Buck, Funk and Slater are dishing out a hell of a beating to Dustin and The Nasties. Team Rhodes are in need of a fresh man to even odds. Blood is staining the ring, the ropes, as well as the cage, making for great visuals as the match continues on. Crowd goes crazy with chants of “DUSTY! DUSTY! DUSTY! DUSTY! DUSTY!”

Time for the last member of Team Rhodes; here is "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes and the fans are going insane for him. Now when all ten men finally have entered the cage, what is referred to as "The Match Beyond" begin. Both teams will brawl each other in the cage for as long as it takes until any member of either team submit, surrender, or is knocked out unconscious. There is no pinfalls, no count-outs, and no disqualifications. Dustin nails Funk with a sloppy Running Bulldog OUCH with a side of YEE-OUCH! Funk is in pain and can barely walk. That move almost looked botched?

Dusty comes in and the heels have the advantage. Bunk is whipping Dustin with one of the belts. Dusty gets beat down briefly but then opens up on Arn, Buck and Slater, beating the hell out of them with Bionic Elbows. It’s Bionic Elbows galore until it comes down to Dusty and "Dirty" Dick Slater. Cactus Jack and Meng are still engaged in their brutal war, while Dustin and The Nasties have the upper hand in the fight versus Arn and Buck. Funk can barely walk and looks injured. It's a hard-hitting slugfest between Dusty and Slater. Arn gets a Nasty Clubberin' followed by a Double DDT. Knobbs nails Buck with a Splash followed by sloppy Elbow Drops from both Nasty Boys. Dustin starts whipping the heels to keep them away while, Dusty finally destroys Slater with Bionic Elbows and knocks him out with a stiff DDT. That's it! Slater is knocked out. It's All Over. “Goddammit!” Heenan exclaimed. Colonel Parker cannot believe his eyes. How could they lose?

In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Team Rhodes (Dusty Rhodes, Dustin Rhodes, Brian Knobbs, Jerry Sags and Cactus Jack) defeated The Stud Stable (Arn Anderson, Terry Funk, Bunkhouse Buck, Dick Slater and Meng) in a War Games match in 40:45 when Dusty Rhodes knocked out Dick Slater.

After the match ends, the faces embrace and leave fairly quickly, while Meng is having a explosive outburst of anger and violence trying to tear the cage apart...

Mean Gene is on the entrance way and claims Hogan vs Flair is one of the greatest rivalry of all times. Gene cuts to a feed to Hulk Hogan on the big screen and the crowd are actually booing him, really booing him. Hogan’s working out at his home in Florida together with Mr. T, the Best Streetfighter in the World.

“Well let me tell you something, brother!”

Hogan ignores the crowd reaction.

"Listen to 'em, Mean Gene!"

It’s deafening. The crowd continue booing him.

"Those Hulkamaniacs, they're goin' crazy, brother!"

Plenty of boos from the Charlottesville crowd.

Hogan says that he wants a piece of Flair, and the fans boo the heck out of Hogan and cheer Flair to no end. Hogan and Flair have a verbal confrontation. Hogan then announces that he will invoke his rematch clause. Then he poses and nobody really cares.

Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel is with Gene and he asks him about the demand for a rematch from Hogan. Bockwinkel says Flair has signed a verbal contract so the match will happen. He sets the match for Halloween Havoc and puts the WCW World Heavyweight Championship on the line. He also claims that Hogan and Flair don’t know this yet, but the match will be inside a Steel Cage because of the Masked Assailant. Gene’s word for word response: “What are you smoking man???” Bockwinkel sticks to his decision.

Tony, Bobby and Gene talk about Hogan’s challenge to Flair and Tony breaks it up saying Meng is kicking off backstage about what happened in the War Games Match.

We receive a huge “We Want Flair” chant from the crowd as Tony and Bobby review the Hogan situation.

Tony finishes with wondering who is the Masked Man that attacked Hogan and Sting...
