"The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko was brought before the Wrestler's Court, accused of failing to pick up his share of the tab on the shared rental car. The judge, Vader, found him guilty and sentenced him to pay the full cost and reimburse his travel partners.

PWInsider gives a Mitsuharu Misawa vs. Stan Hansen match from All Japan Firecracker Tour the grand 5-star treatment. Misawa defeated Hansen to retain the AJPW Triple Crown Championship.

Akira Maeda joins AJPW. AJPW completed the signing of Akira Maeda last night. It is understood that he was one of the major targets for the promotion, although it is not clear if any other signings are planned. He is expected to make appearance at their next show. He is credited as the innovator of the shoot-style of professional wrestling during the late 80's.

PWInsider gives 5 stars to a Shinya Hashimoto vs. Keiji Mutoh match from New Japan during the Payback Tour. Hashimoto defeated Mutoh to retain the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.

Yoshihiro Tajiri on the rise. Tajiri has become an unlikely talking point in wrestling, after some industry veterans singled him out as a future superstar. The comments, made on a radio show yesterday, indicate that they feel that with the right handling he could go far. Tajiri originally wanted to become a kickboxer and trained kickboxing, but after watching countless wrestling matches from Mexico, he entered Animal Hamaguchi Wrestling Gym and soon won it's test match tournament, and debuted in september 1989 in IWA Japan.

Incoming For WWF. It has been reported that WWF are looking to bolster their roster, with at least one contract being offered in the last 48 hours. It is said that the management of the promotion feel they are weak in some areas, and these additions will help solve some problems.

Mark Madden may be getting a job with WCW to take over the hotline on Sundays from Bobby Heenan. The only hotline that is successful in WCW is Gene Okerlund's Saturday hotline, but even that only does about half the business that it used to do when Jim Ross ran it a few years ago. You can only give teases and trick people into calling so many times before it stops working. People want info for their dollar and Ross used to deliver it, while Okerlund is constantly hyping up that he's gonna dish some dirt on the hotline, but rarely delivers anything substantial.

Dave Hebner out of WWF? It is being rumoured that Dave Hebner is set to leave WWF, after apparently not being offered a contract extension. Insider sources say that the company has no further use for him, and once his current deal is complete he will be done with the promotion.

Ric Flair appeared on a German talk show this week, with the WCW belt and they showed a clip of him beating Hogan to win it. The hosts asked Flair about Bret Hart's comments. “I feel sorry for Bret Hart. He is a legend in his own mind. He lives in his own little world. He has the nerve to compare himself to me. Let’s get realistic. If you put Bret Hart in your left hand and me in your right hand, compare the career. Who is Bret Hart? I wrestled everybody in the business for an hour each night. I’ve been around. I know who’s been successful; I know why they’ve been successful and I know who’s good and who’s not good at what they do for a living. I’m the only guy that’s wrestled everybody. Bret Hart, he came from a very strong family that was very well recognised and very highly thought of. But here are the facts, he never wrestled anybody except in the WWF and never was a big star in Japan. When the WWF was hot he was in the Hart Foundation, he didn’t have to draw any money, he just rode around on Hogan’s coat tails. And when they made him champion he couldn’t draw a dime. Does that make him a big star? In my world he is a nobody. He is a piss-ant in the history of wrestling.” Flair welcomed him to come to WCW and challenge him for the title.

Latest on the Chris Benoit to WWF rumors: the plan was to bring him in as tag team partners with Konnan, but when Konnan turned down the offer to return to the company, that put Benoit in limbo, so for now, still nada.

WCW is attempting to get Bob Seger to sing he national anthem for the Halloween Havoc PPV in Detroit.

Royce Gracie had to pull out of the UFC 3 PPV after one fight, which led to last-minute alternate Steve Jennum stepping in to the finals and winning the whole tournament with one victory. However, Kimo Leopoldo faced Royce Gracie and gave Gracie his toughest challenge yet and came out looking like the biggest star of the event even though he lost. Gracie ended up having to forfeit and drop out of the rest of the tournament after the fight. However, after Gracie and later Shamrock both pulled out of their next fights, the whole show seemed to fall apart, with no one seeming to know what to do and led to an eternity of dead air time.

UFC has been heavily criticized and the event was almost pulled from PPV at the last minute due to concerns over the brutality. CNN has criticized the UFC as "human cock fighting" and it's inevitable that there will be calls to ban it if it continues to gain popularity. There's also concern about the fighters, as it's only a matter of time before someone suffers a serious injury or worse. There are problems with the format also, since the format dictates someone has to win 3 fights in a single night to win the tournament and often, even if they win, the fighters are injured. That was the case here, where Steve Jennum stepped into the finals as an alternate, fresh as a daisy, and faced Harold Howard, who was fighting his 2nd fight of the night.

The industry in America is going through a transitional period. While WWF may have survived its largest threat ever with the steroid trial, the company has never been in worse shape than they are now. As for WCW, they practically mortgaged the whole company to get Hulk Hogan and so far, the gamble has worked out okay, but the long-term risks are still massive and Hogan doesn't seem to want to be the full-time star they need to build the company around. Filming Thunder In Paradise will take up at least 6 months of 1995 and he seems to want to be a celebrity and actor more than he wants to wrestle and only gets in the ring these days to keep his face in the public. Hogan is 41 and it's perfectly understandable that he might be wanting to transition to a new phase in life. But that puts WCW in a position of trying to build their company around a guy who doesn't see wrestling as his #1 priority anymore.

"Rowdy" Roddy Piper is currently in Toronto filming a movie called Jungleground. In an interview he gave recently, he said that his recent match against Jerry Lawler at King of the Ring was just a one-time thing and that he's retired from wrestling. "It hurt so much afterward. I think I'm getting old. A man's got to know his limitations," Piper said of the match with Lawler.

ECW announcer Joey Styles made some funny references on commentary this week. When 911 was beating up Doink (Matt Osbourne), Styles said, "One clown down, Bischoff and McMahon to follow." Later in the show, when Tommy Dreamer was screwed out of a match and commissioner Tod Gordon came out to fix it, Styles said, "We have a real justice system in ECW. This isn't Long Island," which is of course a reference to McMahon beating the steroid case.

Terry Funk showed up unannounced at an indie show in California and had a wild brawl all over the building, destroying tables and chairs. The people who run the community center where the show was held were unaware Funk was part of the show and called the police who came and dispersed the crowd, but didn't arrest anyone.

Abdullah the Butcher was badly burned in a match at a show last week when SMW wrestler Boo Bradley blew fire at him and it caught Abdullah's clothes on fire.

Boxing legend Muhammad Ali will be appearing at Halloween Havoc in exchange for WCW making a donation to his charity.

Commentator Rob Naylor says Bret Hart's comments about Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan are completely out of line. "This man's arrogance far exceeds his wrestling ability, which is saying a lot" and says Bret will have his vote for Most Obnoxious in the year end awards. Bret's bitter and jealous. "The day will come, sooner than he thinks, when Bret Hart will be rode out to pasture by younger stars like Shawn Michaels."

WWF change time slot and have confirmed that they are switching their events on Viewers Choice to now be shown in the Late Night time slot. Insiders say the move is designed to lower expectations and comes after some questions were raised by the broadcaster.

Chip Minton on the rise. Some industry veterans are reported to be very high on Nathan "Chip" Minton III. While hardly a household name at the moment, some of the biggest and most respected names in the industry have said that he is one of their picks to be a break-out star in the next few years. Chip is an American former bobsledder and professional wrestler, where he is known as "Mr. World Class and is best known for his participation in the Winter Olympics in 1994 and 1998, where he representated the United States bobsleigh team. Minton began training at the WCW Power Plant in 1994, although he has yet to make his in-ring debut.

The match is over; and Ed Leslie, Dave Sullivan and Jimmy Hart are still on the ground. Kevin Sullivan and One Man Gang decide to add insult to injury by continuing their brutal attack, and viciously doublestomp both Ed Leslie, Dave Sullivan and Jimmy Hart down into the canvas. Kevin takes Jimmy Hart's "Hulkamania" megaphone and stomps on it until it breaks.

Kevin Sullivan then proceeded to place the boa constrictor atop the stunned Jimmy Hart’s chest, his face contorted in menacing rage. Kevin Sullivan truly are "The Most Evil Man in Professional Wrestling of All Time". One Man Gang destroys Dave Sullivan with a big 747 Splash and then strangle him with the chain. Kevin Sullivan and One Man Gang then grabs Dave Sullivan by the legs and start to drag him out of the ring up the ramp towards the backstage area. The cleansing of Hulkamania has begun...

All Stingers in the crowd goes wild and unleashes a mighty roar...

Here comes Sting to the rescue and chases off the bad guys with a explosive barrage of punches, kicks and a Stinger Splash on One Man Gang that sends the big man crashing down into the steel railing.. Kevin Sullivan, One Mang Gang and The Fall Angel quickly escapes out of the arena.

Sting deliver his "Woo!!!" taunt. Pick on someone your own size. Don't get in his way cause if you do, your gonna have to pay. He's a Man Called Sting. He big as bull, and quick as a cat. He's not like, anybody else. If his or Hulk's friends ever need him, he's there to help. All over the world, he such a smash. You know it's over when does the Stinger Splash. Leslie, Evad and Hart are barely moving so tons of officials have to come out and help Sting take Leslie, Evad and Hart to the back...

Followed by a Recap of Steve Austin attacking Jim Duggan

Austin goes nuts saying that he isn’t prepared for Duggan. Austin swearing and insulting Duggan. The next 10 seconds of dialogue from Austin are beeped as Nick Bockwinkel looks more and more offended. Austin can’t believe it and tries to get out of the match. Bockwinkel is having none of it and while Austin is busy arguing with Bockwinkel, Duggan readies.

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan takes the Three Point Stance...

Here we go...

Steve Austin turns around, Duggan charges at him. Austin immediately sidestep to avoid the Charge, which causes Duggan run his shoulder into the post with full force. OUCH!

Terri, Toni and Jeannie quickly distracts the referee and Bockwinkel by flirting and showing some cleavage, Austin quickly nails Duggan with a illegal kick in the nuts. OUCH! That's gotta hurt! Followed by a Stun Gun. The referee turns around and Steve Austin do a cocky pin with his right foot placed on Duggan's chest for 1-2-3 while making a lot of faces taunting the crowd!

In an extremely short match, Steve Austin defeated Jim Duggan in 1:02 by pinfall with a Stun Gun after a distraction from Terri, Toni and Jeannie. Steve Austin makes defence number 21 of his WCW United States Championship title.

And finally a Recap of the War Games Match between Team Rhodes and The Stud Stable

Time for the last member of Team Rhodes; here is "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes and the fans are going insane for him. Now when all ten men finally have entered the cage, what is referred to as "The Match Beyond" begin. Both teams will brawl each other in the cage for as long as it takes until any member of either team submit, surrender, or is knocked out unconscious. There is no pinfalls, no count-outs, and no disqualifications. Dustin nails Funk with a sloppy Running Bulldog OUCH with a side of YEE-OUCH! Funk is in pain and can barely walk. That move almost looked botched?

Dusty comes in and the heels have the advantage. Bunk is whipping Dustin with one of the belts. Dusty gets beat down briefly but then opens up on Arn, Buck and Slater, beating the hell out of them with Bionic Elbows. It’s Bionic Elbows galore until it comes down to Dusty and "Dirty" Dick Slater. Cactus Jack and Meng are still engaged in their brutal war, while Dustin and The Nasties have the upper hand in the fight versus Arn and Buck. Funk can barely walk and looks injured. It's a hard-hitting slugfest between Dusty and Slater. Arn gets a Nasty Clubberin' followed by a Double DDT. Knobbs nails Buck with a Splash followed by sloppy Elbow Drops from both Nasty Boys. Dustin starts whipping the heels to keep them away while, Dusty finally destroys Slater with Bionic Elbows and knocks him out with a stiff DDT. That's it! Slater is knocked out. It's All Over. “Goddammit!” Heenan exclaimed. Colonel Parker cannot believe his eyes. How could they lose?

In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Team Rhodes (Dusty Rhodes, Dustin Rhodes, Brian Knobbs, Jerry Sags and Cactus Jack) defeated The Stud Stable (Arn Anderson, Terry Funk, Bunkhouse Buck, Dick Slater and Meng) in a War Games match in 40:45 when Dusty Rhodes knocked out Dick Slater.

After the match ends, the faces embrace and leave fairly quickly, while Meng is having a explosive outburst of anger and violence trying to tear the cage apart...

"The Enforcer" Arn Anderson talks about The Nasty Boys and Cactus Jack being laid up in hospital beds now and the blood is on The Rhodes' hands, and at Halloween Havoc, this thing ends one way or the other.

Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel interrupts the interview and informs Colonel Parker that because of the ambush on Cactus Jack and The Nasties post the War Games match, a request made by Dusty Rhodes has been granted to settle the score between The Rhodes and The Stud Stable.

At Halloween Havoc Col. Robert Parker will face Dusty Rhodes in an I Quit Match. Parker is very nervous and tries to talk his way out of the match. "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes will face "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson in a Grudge Match. "NO!" Parker near faints and Meng loses it, almost assaulting "Mean" Gene in the process. They're all freaking out because Col. Parker has to be in the match. By the looks Col. Robert Parker's about to have a heart attack. Meng is trying to calm him down...

The Armstrongs (Brad & Brian) vs Bunkhouse Buck & Dick Slater (w/ Col. Robert Parker)

Maybe Brad and Brian deserves a push. All Armstrongs are pretty good compared to most of the other tag teams on the roster, but Brad and Brian actually have better star quality than Scott and Steve. Brian even have good entertainment skills so i'll try to see if these guys can deliver some promos and interviews.

This was another pleasant surprise when it comes to the match rating. Maybe these two guys can form a future tag team, until it's time for Fire and Ice. Ice Train is currently in Deep South Wrestling, while Bobby Walker is in the Power Plant. I've always liked Ice Train, so i'll try to build him into something.

Bobby Eaton vs Arn Anderson (w/ Col. Robert Parker)

It feels great to have such dependable wrestlers as Eaton and Arn that always delivers when wasn't really sure how the main event would be like. Together with the right manager (or in the right stable) Eaton could probably climb the rankings and become a real legit threat to some of the titles.

Yeah me too! That's why i brought it John Tenta a bit earlier, so that Sting get something to do. It seems like an waste just to have Sting and not use him. So the main feud for Sting is now with Tenta, while Sting also has minor roles in the Hogan vs Flair feud and The Hulkamaniacs vs The Hellfire Cult feud. Tenta has been developing nicely in WCW International, UWFi and WAR. So hopefully he will deliver in a monster heel role since he has great menace.

<div style="text-align:left;">Vader is rumoured to be scheduled to work against Hulk Hogan at Starrcade. Hogan had initially refused to work with Vader because of his reputation for working stiff, but Vader has promised Eric Bischoff and Ted Turner that he'll take it easy on him, so that is now the plan. The original plans called for Hogan to drop the belt to Sting at Starrcade, but that's obviously been changed.

Brian Pillman's contract has expired and his status is up in the air right now. He's still working dates he was previously advertised for and is still negotiating with WCW on a new deal. It's also well known that WWF is interested in him.

Curt Hennig did an interview with PWInsider and said he won't be returning to WWF, because Vince McMahon won't meet the price Hennig wants to return. Hennig is in a good financial position and said he'd be glad to wrestle if Vince pays him what he's asking. It's well-known that WCW and Ric Flair specifically want Hennig to come there, but he's under contract with WWF until November.

Vader and Cactus Jack brought up the idea of Sid Vicious returning during a WCW production meeting recently and it was almost unanimously vetoed.

Scott Steiner championship win. The IWGP World Heavyweight Championship title changed hands last night, as Scott Steiner became the new champion, ending the reign of Shinya Hashimoto after ten title defences. This is the first time he has won the IWGP World Heavyweight Champonship.

WWF star Razor Ramon has told friends he plans to take some time off at the beginning of the year to spend some time with his family.

Wild Pegasus title win. Wild Pegasus (Chris Benoit) began his second reign as IWGP Jr. Heavyweight champion last night, when he took the title away from El Samurai. Disappointingly El Samurai had only managed one successful title defence prior to this defeat.

WCW Power Plant trainee Ron Reis is a legit 7'2, 370lbs and manager Jimmy Hart hasn't been shy about telling people that he will be the next Andre The Giant because of his size and athleticism.

FOX Network's new deal with the NFL is looking to be a big threat to pro wrestling and the WWF in particular. Both WWF and WCW have had syndicated TV time slots moved in markets all over the country, or in some cases, dropped completely. The WWF Superstars show in particular took a huge hit in major cities around the country. Weakened or lost time slots in certain cities just makes it that much harder for them to draw crowds to live shows in those cities, which couldn't come at a worse time considering both WWF and WCW are in the midst of drawing record low house show crowds. The NFL deal isn't the only reason though. Falling ratings and advertisers not wanting to be associated with the product due to negative publicity have also led to many TV stations distancing themselves from wrestling. As a result, expect WWF to stop running shows in cities where they took the biggest hits. Luckily for WWF, they still have the successful Monday Night Raw show and the PPVs still generate big bucks.

PWInsider gives a Mitsuharu Misawa vs. Kenta Kobashi match from All Japan the grand 5-star treatment. Mitsuharu Misawa defeated Kenta Kobashi to retain the AJPW Triple Crown Champonship at AJPW Firecracker Tour.

There's a American wrestler touring in Japan under the name Rio Lord of Jungle, who is basically a carbon copy of Ultimate Warrior.

WCW last night revealed in a short press release that Terri had left the company. According to our sources, the split was because of a heated rivalry with Dusty Rhodes in which Dusty managed to turn half the locker room against Terri.

UFC 3's PPV buyrate is in and it did a 0.65, which is better than every WWF PPV in the last two months. And considering they did this without any television promotion (whereas WWF and WCW have hours of TV each week to promote) and without any household name stars, this can only be considered a monster success and everyone expects UFC 4, in December, to do even bigger numbers. The big question of UFC that everyone wants to know is, "Is it really a shoot?" Which will then lead to PPV distributors getting squeamish about carrying it and UFC can't survive without PPV.

Indie wrestlers Bill DeMott and Perry Saturn both received tryouts at the WWF tapings, but didn't get much reaction.

The biggest news coming out of Fall Brawl is that Ricky Steamboat had to pull out of his match with Steve Austin due to a legit back injury. Steamboat injured his back in one of his recent matches with Steve Austin last month. Steamboat isn't expected back until at least January, but there's real concern that the injury might be career-ending.

WCW held a press conference in Detroit to officially announce the Halloween Havoc PPV, featuring appearances by Muhammad Ali and Mr. T as the special referee. Earlier in the week, negotiations with Mr. T over money caused him to pull out of the show and they were going to drop the special ref gimmick, but they worked it out so he came back on board at the last minute. Because of Muhammad Ali, the story got a lot of mainstream coverage and WCW sold $40,000 worth of tickets the first day they went on sale, which is their biggest first-day sales in years.

FMW had to cancel 2 recent shows because they were outdoor events and the cities had just been hit by a typhoon.

Mike Tenay and Mark Madden will both be doing the 900 Hotline for WCW, alternating days.

In Michinoku Pro, they did an angle where Shiryu, Sato, and Terry Boy formed a stable called Kaientai.

The story of Jim Cornette's arrest made several local and national newspapers. Jim Cornette changed his answering machine message to say, "Hi, this is Richard Kimball and I swear it was a one-armed man with that baseball bat. If you've got a message about Smoky Mountain Wrestling, leave it. If you've got a message about my new paint, body and auto glass shop, leave that too." Cornette has agreed to pay for the damage to the car if O'Connor returns his video camera.

There's rumors that Roddy Piper will be starting a Portland wrestling promotion in the next few months. The business plan is to use local talent, but to also set up a working deal with WWF.

Chris Jericho's broken arm has apparently spelled the end of he and Lance Storm's tag team in SMW. Cornette was paying them each a $900 a week guarantee, which is more than anyone else in the company is making, because he expected the team to turn the promotion around. But the Thrillseekers didn't get over as well as Cornette hoped and with the promotion struggling, they can't justify the price tag, especially with Jericho on the shelf, so they're gone.

Missy Hyatt appeared on the Sally Jessy Raphael talk show in what appeared to be a fictional role, playing a woman who was mistreated by her boyfriend.

Jim Crockett held his second TV taping for his new NWA promotion and it was a total bust. All no-name wrestlers, no continuity from the previous TV taping, very few wrestlers who worked the first show returned because they were unhappy with their pay, and the show only drew about 300 fans to a building that holds 2,500.

Sabu and Tazmaniac had a hardcore match at an indie show in Michigan that included the following foreign objects: A car radiator, a television, a radio, a VCR, a freezer door, a baseball bat, a fan, a toaster, a vacuum cleaner, a pool cue and more.

Speaking of Sabu, he's apparently talking about going to WWF in a few months.

Road Warrior Animal is telling people he plans to return to the ring in early 1995 and reform the tag team with Hawk in New Japan and probably WCW. Animal reportedly looks enormous lately.

The AAA show being produced by WCW is called "When Worlds Collide." However, ECW is throwing a fit because ECW recently released a video with the same name. Paul Heyman has gotten lawyers involved and the two sides are discussing a settlement. Heyman is willing to drop the issue if Ric Flair would come work a 60-minute draw at the ECW Arena against Shane Douglas. Flair was approached about the idea and flat out refused. There's been talk about WCW allowing Ron Simmons to work ECW's upcoming Florida show, but that's up in the air also. For now, latest word is WCW is planning to go ahead and use the "When Worlds Collide" name anyway and just take their chances against ECW.

WCW has found themselves in the midst of a bit of a bidding war. UWFI in Japan was wanting to sign a deal with WCW to exchange talent, but when New Japan heard about it, they offered WCW more money for a similar deal. NJPW want to sign the WCW deal in order to keep UWFI from getting it because if they could get Hogan or Flair to come work UWFI shows, that would be a pretty big deal for them.

"Superstar" Billy Graham's long-standing lawsuit against WWF was partially settled and then dropped this week due to a statute of limitations issue. Graham had sued WWF, Dr. Zahorian, and the makers of several different brands of steroids. The steroid companies settled and Graham will receive around $30,000 total, but it is believed the entire amount will go to his lawyers because his legal costs exceed that amount. Meanwhile, WWF and Zahorian both refused to settle and then the suit was dropped because there's a 2-year statute of limitations and since Graham waited many years before filing the suit, a judge would have tossed the case out anyway if it had gone to trial.

Needless to say, he's probably going to get fired.

Sparky Plugg's name has been changed to Bob "Spark Plugg" Holly.

A recent TV Guide article listed WWF as one of the magazine's favorite guilty pleasure shows, but also mentioned the steroid scandal. Linda McMahon wrote a letter to the magazine that they printed, saying she was glad they liked the show, but argued that they have been testing for steroids since 1991 and that they were cleared of any wrongdoing in the trial.

ECW takes wrestling to the extreme!

In an effort to distance itself from the traditional wrestling showcased by the NWA, the small indie promotion from Philadelphia; Eastern Championship Wrestling changed their name to Extreme Championship Wrestling and began promoting their own World Champion during an ECW Hardcore TV show in August 1994. ECW World Heavyweight champion Too Cold Scorpio defeated former champion Shane Douglas to retain the title. In the same episode ECW World Television champion Mike Awesome defeated Raven and Tazmaniac to retain his title. Paul Heyman declared this as the birth of Hardcore Revolution.

A recent match between Ron Simmons and Terry Funk brawling all over the building went to a no contest in what has been called a great match. Both wrestlers got a standing ovation after the match. Despite being a regional promotion with limited financial assets, ECW regularly deliver high quality matches.

"The Enforcer" Arn Anderson talks about The Nasty Boys and Cactus Jack being laid up in hospital beds now and the blood is on The Rhodes' hands, and at Halloween Havoc, this thing ends one way or the other.

Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel interrupts the interview and informs Colonel Parker that because of the ambush on Cactus Jack and The Nasties post the War Games match, a request made by Dusty Rhodes has been granted to settle the score between The Rhodes and The Stud Stable.

At Halloween Havoc Col. Robert Parker will face Dusty Rhodes in an I Quit Match. Parker is very nervous and tries to talk his way out of the match. "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes will face "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson in a Grudge Match. "NO!" Parker near faints and Meng loses it, almost assaulting "Mean" Gene in the process. They're all freaking out...

The Warlord, Sgt. Slaughter, and Tito Santana were all backstage at the latest WCW tapings, looking for work. The Warlord was telling people he'd been off steroids for the last 18 months, but everyone who saw him felt he was insulting their intelligence. The Warlord currently works for AAA, UWA, WAR, MEWF and UWF; while Tito Santana works for IWCCW and IWF.

Sabu has talked about going to WWF next year, but reportedly ECW has offered "The Homicidal Suicidal Genocidal Death-Defying Maniac" big money to stay with them instead.

Rumour has it that Eric Bischoff, Ric Flair and Kevin Sullivan have suggested that Hulk Hogan should face Sting in a Face vs Face "Dream Match" at Starrcade. But Hogan decided to reject this idea and countered by suggesting it makes better sense for him to face his best friend Ed Leslie turned heel, "giving the rub" to his friend. Latest WWF House Shows have been "like attending a funeral" because the atmosphere was so depressing. Other than Shawn Michaels, who has been great, the shows were awful and the crowds were dead. Bret Hart headlined against Jim Neidhart, who has been awful and Bret hasn't even tried to carry him to a decent match. A lot of people have been saying that Bret has a lot of nerve to say the things he said about "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair while going out on house shows and giving lackluster performances like the ones he's been doing.

Hulk Hogan is rumored to be close to signing a deal to star in a sequel of the movie Delta Force, called Delta Force 4: Eye of the Hurricane. Hogan is lobbying for Ed Leslie, Jeep Swenson, Tiny Lister and El Gigante to receive minor roles.

After the current Ric Flair vs Hulk Hogan feud, Elizabeth is rumoured to start managing Steve Austin, who will be getting a gimmick makeover and will receive his long-awaited main event push that everybody can see he deserves. But in the World of Hulk Hogan vs. Monster Heels, there are some who believe Austin will just tread water and won't be able to crack the main event scene.

Bob Backlund's heel character is getting a huge push, but doesn't seem to be getting over that much.

Is WCW looking for a new giant? According to a inside source, Hulk Hogan has let Eric Bischoff know that he would very much like to work with a "giant" after his current storyline with Ric Flair ends. Is Hogan trying to avoid facing off with Vader? Who is this "giant"? El Gigante? Giant Haystacks?

Hulk Hogan is scheduled to face Vader at an upcoming WCW house show in November, which leads to an interesting political situation. Vader is still the WCW International World Heavyweight champion and the promotion isn't going to want Vader to do a job to any other wrestler, especially Hulk Hogan. So you can expect Vader to either lose the WCW International title before then, or expect them to do a screwjob finish to protect Vader because he's probably not going to agree to job to Hogan while he's still got the WCW International World Heavyweight title.

Indie wrestler John Kronus has become an unlikely talking point in wrestling, after some industry veterans singled him out as a future superstar. The comments, made on a radio show yesterday, indicate that they feel that with the right handling he could go far.

WCW has decided to remove Jesse Ventura from TV with 5 months remaining on his contract. Ventura has had a tumultuous tenure in WCW. He was demoted to commentate on the B-level shows when Bobby Heenan was brought in and made no secret about being unhappy about it. Ever since, he's been openly half-assing his commentary duties and sometimes no-showed appointments to go to Atlanta and record voice-overs, which upset many in the company because Ventura is one of the highest paid employees in WCW. Ventura will sit out the remainder of his contract and will be paid for it, but WCW is no longer going to use him. There are rumors that this could lead to Ventura returning to WWF to do commentary on Monday Night Raw, but he can't even legally talk to them until March 1st when his contract expires. If Ventura did return to WWF, it would be interesting given all the recent legal issues between Ventura and McMahon, but people in this business often find ways to bury the bad blood if they can make money together.

Koko B. Ware gone from WWF. In a short statement on their web site, WWF last night revealed that they had parted ways with Koko B. Ware after his contract had expired. No further information was given, other than them wishing him well.

New Japan has officially announced that Antonio Inoki will face George Foreman in a match in Korea in April. Inoki also said he wants to face Hulk Hogan at the Jan. 4 Tokyo Dome show and would like to have a match with Ric Flair as well.

5 Star Match. Last night was AJPW Strenght Fire 10 1994, an event that saw one of the best matches in recent memory as Toshiaki Kawada defeated The Warrior. The bout is bound to be a top contender for the coveted Match Of The Year award.

There are rumors going around about Sid Vicious returning to WWF to once more "Rule the World".

In NJPW, there's a lot of talk that Power Warrior will go back to using the name Kensuke Sasaki and that will spell the end of The Hell Raisers tag team with Hawk. It's expected that Road Warrior Animal will return to the ring in early 95 to reform the Road Warriors team.

Speaking of Hawk, he threw a little bit of a fit about putting over Masahiro Chono in Japan. He refused to do a submission to the STF and finally agreed to allow himself to be pinned by a roll-up, but he still kicked out right at 3 and jumped up to keep fighting and sell it as if he just barely failed to kick out in time. Scott Norton also refused to put over Chono and they ended up doing a DQ finish.

FMW held a "No-Rope Barbed Wire Electrified Explosive Double Hell Death Match in a Pool" last week. Barbed wire around 2 sides of the ring, no ropes on the other side, and explosives in the water surrounding the ring that exploded every time they hit it.

Road Warrior Hawk sidelined. It looks like Road Warrior Hawk will not be wrestling for a while, as the grappler picked up a Torn Pectoral during a match last night, and early reports are that it will sideline him from active competion for at least two months.

Jim Ross will officially become the new announcer for IWA-CA and CWA NE. Ross has also been in negotiations with UFC about announcing the UFC 4 PPV in December.

Injury sidelines veteran Steve Keirn. It looks like Steve Keirn will not be wrestling for a while, as the grappler picked up a Torn Meniscus during a match last night, and early reports are that it will sideline him from active competition for at least 11 months. WCW last night revealed in a short press release that Steve Keirn has left the company.

The big Sid Vicious vs. Jerry Lawler matches in USWA haven't been drawing well in Memphis, but it led to double the usual crowd for their Nashville show.

Herb Abrams tried to run a 3-hour show that aired nationwide on satellite. It was a money-losing disaster. The arena held 17,000 people but only drew 600. And of those 600, more than half were freebies. To Herb's credit, the show was well promoted but it just flopped. Several known names worked the show like Steve Williams, Johnny Ace, Dan Spivey, Missy Hyatt, Ludvig Borga, Warlord, Cactus Jack, Jimmy Snuka and Sid Vicious, etc.

Vader broke his nose. Injured wrestler Vader is reported to be considering working through the pain. The grappler, who picked up a Broken Nose during a stiff squash match against jobber Reno Riggins last night, is understood to feel that the injury is not serious enough for him to take time off.

Ron Simmons and Brian Knobbs claim belts. The vacant IWGP World Tag Team Championships were claimed last night, as Ron Simmons and Brian Knobbs became the new champions. This victory marks their first reign with the belts.

PWInsider gives 5 stars to a Stan Hansen vs. Mitsuharu Misawa match from All Japan. Stan "The Lariat" Hansen defeated Mitsuharu Misawa at AJPW Firecracker Tour.

UFC has reportedly offered Meng (Haku) a spot in the next UFC event. Meng has the reputation of being the Toughest of all Pro Wrestlers. WCW has reportedly told him that if he wants to do it, they will give him two months off to train to get ready.

Thunder In Paradise is in limbo again. It had initially been renewed for a 22-episode second season, but then the network decided to cut it down to 10 episodes. Hogan is still trying to figure out a way to get a second season, but as of right now, the show is cancelled.

Kiyoshi Tamura has publicly revealed that he has accepted an offer for an MMA fight in a few month's time. It is expected that he will start his camp in eight weeks, and will be away from wrestling for several months in total. Kiyoshi Tamura is currently working for UWFi, Pancrase and PWFG.

Latest word on the AAA/WCW PPV is that WCW is going ahead and using the name When Worlds Collide and basically telling ECW to suck it. If this goes well, the plan is to run two more AAA/WCW-produced PPV:s in 1995.

Jesse Ventura is still facing controversy over his mayoral position in Brooklyn Park, MN. His political opponents are arguing that, since Ventura moved out of the city a few months ago, he is no longer eligible to be mayor and any legally binding things that he has signed since moving should not be valid. There was a hearing where Ventura acted as his own lawyer to defend himself. He acknowledged buying a new house in Maple Grove, MN in June but says he still lives at the Brooklyn Park house. Ventura is finishing up his term in a few months and isn't running for re-election, and claims that his political enemies are just trying to embarrass him before he leaves office. A decision is expected to be made in a few weeks.

Veteran Greg "The Hammer" Valentine could soon be returning to the spotlight. Valentine are said to be high on the shortlists of WCW and WWF. "The Hammer" currently works for NWA Dallas, IWCCW and NWA FL.

In ECW, they did an angle between Tommy Dreamer and Sandman where Dreamer took a cigarette and burned Sandman's eye with it.
