Let’s head to the ring for our first match.

<div style="text-align:center;">Big Kelly Kiniski takes on Chick Donovan</div>Donovan stalled by preening and posing before finally being forced by the referee to lockup with Kiniski. Both men kept to the mat and used basic moves, Kiniski’s size and weight advantage being the determining factor as he defeated Donovan with an Airplane Spin</div>

<div style="text-align:center;">Steve Stack</div><div style="text-align:center;">Right now I’m joined by a living legend and the commissioner of Southwest Championship Wrestling the great Lou Thesz. And Mr. Thesz you’ve joined us to announce the #1 contender for Tully Blanchard’s Southwest heavyweight title.</div>

<div style="text-align:center;">Lou Thesz</div><div style="text-align:center;">There are many great wrestlers here in Southwest and it wasn’t easy for the booking committee to choose just one contender but after much consideration it was narrowed down to one man. One man who despite all the great competition stood out from the rest of the choices. That man is Dick Slater, the #1 contender for the Southwest Heavyweight title.</div>

<div style="text-align:center;">Chavo Guerrero takes on the Continental Lover Eddie Mansfield.</div><div style="text-align:center;">Guerrero starting off quickly, Mansfield’s ego getting the best of him tries to keep up with Chavo only to look foolish. Guerrero added to the foolishness of Mansfield by constantly sweeping his legs out from under him and then splashing on top for an attempted pin. Mansfield had enough and took a powder to the floor to break the momentum. Mansfield returned to the ring but it was more of the same. Guerrero with a cross body block pin attempt, a Sunset flip pin attempt. All these attempts just wore Mansfield down and Guerrero finally caught Mansfield with a Crucifix roll up.

That’s right the King of the Streets is here, the streets I rule are everywhere, from Brooklyn to Boston, Green Bay to right here in San Antonio. I make the rules, I break the rules, I do what I want, when I want, like Ol’ Blue Eyes sings “I did it my way!” Now on to business, Dick Slater #1 contender, why Steve Stack? Why is Slater the top contender for what is rightfully mine, the Southwest heavyweight championship. After all I’ve done here in Southwest Wrestling, after everyone I’ve beaten. You know what Stack, I know what’s going on here.

Grapplers 1 & 2 (240 pounds each, from Parts Unknown)presented by the “Best Dressed Manager In All of Professional Wrestling” Dandy Don Carson vs Cowboy Scott Casey(240 pounds Lubbock Texas)and Al Perez (235 pounds Miami Florida)

Casey and Perez were teaming together for the first time. The Grapplers’ game plan was simple, isolate the inexperienced Perez, and keep Casey out of the ring as much as possible and it worked well. While Grappler #1 pinned Al Perez after a kick to the side of the head from that questionable orthopedic boot he wears on his right foot.

Casey protested to the referee about the boot. Carson apparently upset by this ordered the Grapplers to attack Casey. Casey fought back but eventually met the same fate as his partner being caught with a kick to the side of the head from Grappler #1. Carson stepped in the ring looked at Perez and Carson on the mat and raised the masked men’s arms in victory.

<div style="text-align:center;">Don Carson</div><div style="text-align:center;">There is nothing sinister about the Grappler’s boot, he’s had to wear a special orthopedic device since a tragic accident in his childhood. Is that something you really want to get into Steve Stack. A child’s horrific accident that he has had to deal with most of his life? I didn’t think so. </div>

<div style="text-align:center;">Hangman Bobby Jaggers vs ½ of the Kiwi Sheepherders Butch Miller accompanied by Warlord Jonathan Boyd</div><div style="text-align:center;">Jaggers had Miller on the verge of defeat after a pair of Hangman neckbreakers, when the other half of the Kiwi Sheepherders hit the ring and attacked Jaggers earning the DQ.

Boyd tossed the New Zealand flag to Williams who brought it down viciously across Jaggers back. Miller to his feet grabbed Jaggers and whipped him straight toward Williams who clothes lined him with the flag pole. The Kiwis held Jaggers up by the arms. Boyd grabbed the flag pole bringing it down across his head. Tiger Conway Jr. hit the ring with dropkicks sending Miller and Williams backwards over the top rope, Boyd tried to nail Conway with the flag, Conway used his speed to dodge the blows finally catching Boyd with a fist off the ropes sending him backwards into the arms of Miller and Williams. Jaggers bleeding from his forehead is checked on by referee Juan Reynosa.

“King of the Streets” Adrian Adonis vs Hector Guerrero

Guerrero took Adonis down with a series of arm drags before settling in to work over the arm. Adonis used the hair to back Guerrero to the corner. A knee by Adonis, a whip to the opposite corner was reversed, Hector followed with a monkey flip leaving Adonis on his back again. Adonis finally got things going after a knee to the stomach of Guerrero. Adonis with a dropkick. An elbow to the head by Adonis. Adonis sends Guerrero to the ropes, Guerrero hoping to catch Adonis by surprise tries for a Crucifix pin much like Chavo did earlier. Adonis turns it into a Samoan back drop. Adonis to the middle rope and drops another elbow to the head. Adonis whips Guerrero to the ropes catching Hector with the Goodnight Irene Sleeper for the win.</div>

<div style="text-align:center;">Post Mortem</div><div style="text-align:center;">Kelly Kiniski and Chick Donovan was fine to open a the show but not very exciting

Al Perez showed his inexperience during the tag match. Jaggers and Williams didn’t gel too well.

Slater and Adonis gave good interviews.

Adonis vs Guerrero was good though more was expected.

Overall a solid if unspectacular show(C+)</div>

<div style="text-align:center;">Chick Donovan vs Al Perez</div><div style="text-align:center;">Donovan was posing and flexing, referee Juan Reynosa started a 10 count ending Donovan’s stalling attempts. Basic moves to start. Donovan with a side headlock. Perez reversed taking Chick down with a series of armdrags. A pair of dropkicks had Donovan reeling, Perez feeling confident went for a third dropkick and missed. Donovan hit a suplex, then a lariat. Perez pushed to the ring apron by kicks. Perez to his feet on the apron, shoulder blocks to Donovan doubling him up. Perez over the top for a Sunset flip, Donovan fighting to keep his balance drops his body weight on top of Perez and grabs the ropes for extra leverage to get the pin. Winner is Chick Donovan.

Perez was upset at another another loss.</div>

<div style="text-align:center;">Pat Patterson</div><div style="text-align:center;">Al Perez is a good looking young guy, good build, seems to have some talent, he just needs to put it all together. Getting frustrated isn’t going to help.

<div style="text-align:center;">#1 Contender Dick Slater vs Kelly Kiniski </div><div style="text-align:center;">Southwest Heavyweight Champion Tully Blanchard joined the announce team for the match to watch the #1 Contender. Blanchard offered advice to Kiniski before the match and had some words for Slater. Slater pointed to the title and motioned it would be around his waist.

Ain’t happening Slater!” yelled Blanchard

Despite Kiniski’s being heavier and taller, Slater took control and never let up. Kiniski fought back but Slater was never in any real trouble.A fist to the mid-section caught Kiniski off the ropes doubling him up, Slater followed up with a side Russian leg sweep, pulled Kiniski up and got the 260 pound up and brought him down with a belly to back suplex to get the win.</div><div style="text-align:center;">Ringside Blanchard was not happy. </div><div style="text-align:center;">I’ll show you how a real champion handles business

Blanchard attempted to sneak up on Slater in the ring but was met with a series of short jabs and a big haymaker that sent the champ between the ropes and to the floor. Blanchard grabbed his belt.

Mansfield thinking a quick attack his best way to go after Fernandez attacked before the bell. Shots to the throat, raking the eyes with the boot laces, using the top rope to choke Ferenandez. All was going the Continental Lover’s way or seemed to be. Mansfield went to the second rope but was caught by Fernandez coming off with a shot to the stomach. Fernandez chopped away the chest, whipped Mansfield to the ropes, hit an elbow to the mid-section with a quick back fist to the nose. A quick whip to the ropes and Fernandez catches Mansfield with a flying double chop to the chest and Manny Fernandez defeats Mansfield.

Hector Guerrero vs Tommy Rogers

Guerrero put Rogers through his paces taking him down to the mat as they did holds and counter holds.

Guerrero went to the air with dropkicks and head scissors and Rogers kept up with him. But eventually the veteran Guerrero used Rogers inexperience against him. Rogers whipped Guerrero to the corner, charged in. Guerrero stepped aside as Rogers hit hard. Guerrero nailed Rogers with a series of forearm upper cuts. Lifting Rogers to the top Guerrero to the second rope and brings Rogers off with a suplex from the top rope. Hector Guerrero defeated young Tommy Rogers with a top rope suplex. Rogers got up slowly, Guerrero made his way over and helped the rookie up. Rogers offered Guerrero a handshake.

There’s another talented young man. The difference between the young man we saw earlier Al Perez in his loss and Rogers here just now is all about how you deal with the loss.

The Kiwi Sheepherders(Luke Williams/Butch Miller, 485 pounds combined Auckland New Zealand) accompanied by Warlord Jonathan Boyd vs The Fabulous Blondes(Eric Embry/Gentleman Ken Timbs, 455 pounds combined Hollywood Florida)

The Kiwi Sheepherders defeated the Fabulous Blondes in a bloody brutal match. Essentially a 3 on 2 match as the Sheepherders advisor Warlord Jonathan Boyd made liberal use of the New Zealand flag on both Embry and Timbs. The Blondes fought back with ferocity sending both Sheepherders into the ring posts, then grabbed the flag from Boyd and double clothes lining him with it. Sheepherder Luke Williams grabbed a chair and Timbs was cracked over the head several times leaving him out of it and a crimson mess. The Sheepherders doubled teamed Embry before finishing him off with Embry off with a stuff piledriver onto the chair. The Sheepherders urged on by Boyd continued to brutalize the Blondes until the Hangman Bobby Jaggers and Tiger Conway Jr. charged the ring attacking the Kiwis causing them to retreat.

Where you going Sheepherders?! You do this to the Blondes but run from us?! The Blondes are a helluva team but this wasn’t their type of match! But it sure as hell is our type of match! “

Everyone sees me in the ring doing all these dropkicks and arm drags all these fancy moves. Doing interviews being all polite and respectful. Sheepherders I can get as down and dirty as you want. Chairs, trashcans, tables, ropes, straps whatever you want!

After the confrontation earlier between Dick Slater and Tully Blanchard, and since the champion seems to want to get in the ring with Slater sooner rather than later the booking committee has decided that Blanchard and Slater will meet up next week in the ring in a non title match.

What we did today is nothing! This (tossing the bloody bandages to the floor)is nothing. We came all the way from New Zealand to America because we always heard how tough Americans are. We’ve been all over this country beating up Americans, they said the toughest are in Texas, Here we are in Texas and they ain’t no better than the rest of you Americans.

Post Mortem:

Rookie Tommy Rogers made his debut having a decent match against the more experienced Hector Guerrero.

Al Perez still is having issues getting it together in the ring and has chalked up another loss.

The debut of Pat Patterson as new color man seems to have gone over decently and already paying off with commentary adding to the matches.

Dick Slater and Manny Fernandez had solid television matches.

Tully Blanchard’s attempted sneak attack on Slater got the fans riled up pretty good.

Overall a slightly better show than the previous week still only garnering a C+ though</div>

Welcome to this week’s Southwest Championship Wrestling. I’m joined by Pat Patterson and Pat this week we’ve got 5 big matches including our main event in a non title bout, Dick Slater the #1 contender for the Southwest Heavyweight title takes on the champion Tully Blanchard.

Blanchard wasn’t very happy when this match was announced last week but he’s claimed to be the best here in Southwest and we will see if he can live up to those claims.

Also today a young man who impressed you in his debut last week Tommy Rogers.

A great looking young man, with a lot of potential. We’ll see how he does against the rough and tumble Adrian Adonis.

Let’s head to the ring for our first match.

Alberto Madril vs Hector Guerrero

Both men were slow to start. Madril impressed himself when he caught Guerrero with a couple of arm drags, sending the Mexican star to the mat. Guerrero came back with a couple of his own as well as a head scissors that took Madril down. Guerrero then bowed to the fans irritating Madril. Both men picked up the pace with Guerrero throwing a dropkick, catching Madril with a cross body block for a near fall and locking him up in a surf board. Madril countered with a knee drop to the chest, raking the eyes across the top rope and a school boy rollup with help from the ropes but was caught by the ref. The time wound down in the match and ended in a draw. Neither man was pleased with the outcome. Guerrero wanted the match to continue but Madril just waved him off.

Al Madril is a tough hombre, there’s no getting around that but anytime, any where Madril wants to get back in the ring and see who the better man is I’ll be there.

Cowboy Scott Casey vs Continental Lover Eddie Mansfield

Mansfield jumped Casey before the bell gaining an early advantage. Mansfield relied on repeated thumbs to the throat. Casey though was firing on all cylinders tonight and overwhelmed Mansfield. A series of rights rocked Mansfield, Casey off the ropes with a shoulder tackle. A whip to the corner followed up with a lariat. Casey finished Mansfield off with a bulldog to get the pin.

Just keep your mouth shut and hold the microphone Stack, the King of the Streets, the brawler from the Bronx demands respect. I get passed over as the #1 contender for the Southwest heavyweight title. I’m not going to be ignored any more if you people won’t give me the respect I deserve then I’m gonna take it.

King of the Streets Adrian Adonis vs Tommy Rogers

Adonis mauled Rogers from the get go, beating on him viciously. But Rogers showed resilience and fought back against Adonis with everything he had surprising Adonis. Slaps across the face by Adonis, Rogers slapping the King of Streets back stunning Adonis with his “lack of respect”. Rogers whipped Adonis to the corner, monkey flip on Adonis. Rogers tries for another and Adonis pushed him off sending him to the mat. Adonis grabbed Rogers in a front face lock, lifted him up and dropped him face first into the mat. Adonis a little weary from the fight Rogers put up went to the second rope,dropping an elbow across the forehead. Adonis covered but Rogers kicked out at 2. Adonis whipped Rogers to the rope and the Good Night Irene Sleeper put an end to the match with Adonis getting the win.

<div style="text-align:center;">Jonathan Boyd</div>Jaggers and Conway! You have no idea what you’ve gotten yourself into. When I tell my Sheepherders to go they go and they don’t stop until I tell them to stop. Today I think I won’t have that inclination.

The Kiwis made their way to the ring. Their advisor Jonathan Boyd held the New Zealand flag up for the Sheepherders to salute. Rushing to the ring came Hangman Bobby Jaggers and Tiger Conway Jr. A free for all started between all four men with referee Juan Reynosa trying to gain control. Jaggers nailed Butch Miller sending him to the mat. A double team back drop on Luke Williams. A double drop kick for Butch Miller had the Sheepherders exiting the ring to consult with the Warlord while Jaggers and Conway Jr. celebrated. Finally the referee was able to get things under control and the official match was underway.

The Kiwi Sheepherders(Luke Williams/Butch Miller)with Warlord Jonathan Boyd vs Hangman Bobby Jaggers/Tiger Conway Jr.Jaggers and Conway took the fight to the Kiwis, tagging in and out quickly, giving the Sheepherders no breathing room to fight back. The Kiwis advisor Jonathan Boyd turned the tide, distracting the ref allowing the Sheepherders to get the advantage on the Hangman. Relentless and brutal were the Sheepherders, ramming Jaggers repeated into the corner, taking turns choking with the tag rope,biting at the face and forehead of Jaggers. Jaggers fought back throwing punches at both Sheepherders fighting his way out of the corner, scrambling to tag Conway Jr. Conway all over Williams/Miller. A dropkick sent Williams through the ropes to the floor. Conway hit Miller of the ropes with a flying elbow smash, a cover but Boyd from the outside grabbed Conway Jr. and pulled him off. Jaggers went after the Warlord. Conway grabbed Miller and went for a rollup, Luke Williams grabbed the New Zealand flag and nailed Conway Jr. in the head. Conway collapsed to the mat.

Jaggers hearing the bell looks in the ring to see his partner down and the Sheepherders getting their hands raised. Jaggers grabs a chair and clears the ring then checks on Tiger.

Tully Blanchard-Southwest Heavweight Champion vs #1 Contender Dick Slater

Blanchard offered a hand to Slater who turned it down. Both men went through the lockup, jockeying for position with neither getting an advantage. Blanchard got a standing arm lock on Slater, reversal, Slater took Blanchard down with a leg trip. Slater with a head scissors, Blanchard escapes, tries to grab a head lock but finds himself back in the head scissors eventually using the ropes to escape. Both men got to their feet and circled again. Blanchard got a side head lock, Slater threw him to the ropes, Blanchard catches Slater with a shoulder block knocking him to the mat. Blanchard pleased with himself struts around the ring. Blanchard again with the side headlock, this time Slater caught Blanchard off the ropes with a sleeper hold. Blanchard flailed away to get to the ropes breaking the hold. Blanchard went to the floor to get a breather.

Slater got a little too close to the ropes and had his legs pulled out from under him by Blanchard who pulled him to the floor. Blanchard with some fists to the head, Slater fired back with his own. Tully rolled in the ring, back pedaling, Slater followed, Tully headed back outside, Slater followed, Tully back in, Slater followed and got nailed by a Blanchard with a knee. Blanchard with a bodyslam, boots to the head, a whip to the corner, Blanchard measured Slater for a fist right to the nose, a snap mare out of the corner, a hard kick to the back had Slater in pain. Blanchard strutted some more feeling in total control. A suplex by Blanchard and a lazy cover got 2. Blanchard decided to try and finish Slater off with a piledriver. Slater back dropped Blanchard. Blanchard tried to throw some punches but was blocked. Slater fired off some of his own stunning the champ, a dropkick from Slater sent Blanchard to the corner. Slater tried to whip Blanchard to the opposite corner, Blanchard reversed it, charged in, Slater side stepped Blanchard who hit the corner, Slater with a rollup got 2. Atomic drop by Slater, a kick to the back of the leg of Blanchard, Slater with a spinning toe hold on Blanchard. Slater with a Figure Four leg lock on the champion. Blanchard fighting not to submit, the fans cheering loudly. Out of no where a well dress man slides in the ring and drops an elbow on Slater, Referee Juan Reynosa calls for the bell.

(The reunited Dynamic Duo tee’d off on Mr. Unpredictable taking turns beating him down in the ring . Blanchard hit Slater with a Piledriver. Slater was at the mercy of the Dynamic Duo, Hernandez held Slater up while Tully slapped him, pointed at his title and slapped him again before finally clocking him with the title. Slater was left in the ring bleeding and out of it as the Dynamic Duo was all hugs and raised arms laughing all the way over to the interview area.)

<div style="text-align:center;">Post Mortem:</div><div style="text-align:center;">A slow start this time around but really picked up at the end with the Sweetan video,Blanchard vs Slater, and especially the Handsome Half-Breed Gino Hernandez.

Adrian Adonis and Tommy Rogers matched up well and had a good match. For the second week in a row the acquisition of Pat Patterson to the announce team has made the difference for the show. Oddly even though the announcing has made most of the matches better it wasn’t up to the task of this week's main event.

Overall rating (B+)

Maybe this will keep USA Network off our backs for a bit, doubtful but hoping.</div>

He’s so dumb he gets on his horse backwards and doesn’t know if he’s coming or going. Bob Sweetan? The man who I not only beat all over Texas last year, but embarrassed so bad that he had to leave the promotion and thinks he’s just gonna stroll back in and take over.That’s not going to happen. The King of the Streets isn’t taking a backseat to anyone, put anyone in the ring across from me and I’ll show you why I am the uncrowned champion.</div>

Young tried to retaliate but there wasn’t much to it. Adonis defeated Gary Young in short order with the Good Night Irene Sleeper.</div>

The bigger Kelly Kiniski kept the Grapplers off their game a little by keeping them on the mat and under control. He and Rogers worked the arm and were doing a good job but the Grapplers patience and familiarity were ultimately the deciding factors. A double team kick to the mid-section of Rogers doubled him up, Grappler #2 nailed Kiniski with a shot knocking him from the ring apron as

Grappler #1 grabbed Rogers and hit a Russian Leg Sweep and the pinfall.</div>

<div style="text-align:center;">Last week I had Blanchard beat then out of nowhere Gino Hernandez crawled out of whatever hole he’s been hiding in and jumped me. I found out a couple things.

One, Tully Blanchard is afraid, he knows I can beat him. Two, he knows he ain’t got as tight a grip on the Southwest title as he thinks.

Now as far as Gino Hernandez goes, if I have to go through him to get to Blanchard I will.

And Tully you better keep that title close to you, treated like your best friend, you aren’t gonna have it much longer.</div></div>

<div style="text-align:center;">Gino Hernandez vs Chick Donovan</div><div style="text-align:center;">In typical Handsome Half Breed style, Hernandez berated Donovan as not being in Gino’s class, not as good looking, not as great in the ring, not as wanted outside the ring. This apparently struck a nerve with Donovan who attacked Hernandez with a flurry of forearms. Donovan nailed Hernandez off the ropes with a fist to the mid-section. Hernandez went to the floor to gather himself, Donovan followed. Hernandez high tailed back into the ring, Donovan followed and Hernandez was there and dropped an elbow on Donovan. Gino with a suplex, a body slam. Hernandez backed Donovan into the corner and nailed him with fists to the head and body, another body slam, Hernandez went to the top rope and came off with a Reverse Elbow Drop to get the pinfall.

<div style="text-align:left;">Thankfully Fernandez much like the fans was in no mood to put up with Manfield’s stalling attempts. Mansfield resorted to cheap shots at every turn to take over but Fernandez had had enough of Mansfield hitting a side suplex, a dropkick off the rope and finally a flying forearm to end the match.</div>

Boyd tried to insert himself into the match. Referee Juan Reynosa was knocked to the mat by a collision with Miller and Conway Jr. With Conway trying to revive Reynosa, Miller grabbed Conway by the arms. Jonathan Boyd entered the ring and tried to nail Tiger with the New Zealand flag. Conway broke free, the flag came down on Miller’s head, Conway nailed Boyd with a dropkick sending him out of the ring through the ropes. Conway leaped over a bent over Butch Miller into a sunset flip as the ref recovered enough to count the pinfall..</div>

<div style="text-align:center;">Post Mortem:</div><div style="text-align:center;">The crowd was not enthused by what was presented, I guess Tucson doesn’t care for our brand of wrestling.

The Grapplers were a well oiled machine having little problem with Kiniski and Rogers

The team of Steve Stack and Pat Patterson brings up every match they announce which is good.

Even the awesomeness of Gino Hernandez couldn’t do much to bring the quality up this time around.

Dick Slater and Adrian Adonis gave interviews that were the highlights of the show while Carson was all over the place and it showed.

Overall rating is a C. USA Network is not going to be happy.

Allen started off against Timbs to open the match. Allen being bigger, stronger and slightly quicker started off fast with a series of armdrags. Timbs crawled to his corner, tagged in Embry who had no better luck against Allen. Al Perez tagged in, a snap mare on Embry, a rear chin lock by Perez, Allen tagged back in, an atomic drop of Embry bounced him to his corner, tagging in Timbs who tried to slow things down. Allen got thumbed in the eye by Timbs, a choke across the top rope. Timbs flung Allen off the ropes to the mat. A tag to Embry, off the ropes, elbow drop misses, Allen rolls to his corner tags in Perez, fires away on Embry, Timbs in as well, punches for him as well. Allen in, backs Embry to the corner, Perez does the same with Timbs. Double whip sends the Blondes crashing into each other. Referee Juan Reynosa tries to get Allen out of the ring. Perez grabs Embry, whip to the ropes, abdominal stretch by Perez. Timbs to the second buckle, double ax smash to the back of Perez sends him to the mat. The Blondes with a double team elbow drop. Embry covers as the ref turns back and counts the pinfall. The Blondes get the win.</div>

(Adonis heads to the ring and removes his leather jacket. Casey removes his cowboy hat and heads to the ring.)

Adonis is all over Casey coming into the ring. Casey fights back. It’s tooth and nail between the two, fists are flying. Adonis with a knee catches Casey. Point of the elbow to the back of the head by Adonis. A front face lock by Adonis, grabs Casey’s trunks lifts him up and drops him face first to the mat. Adonis rolls Casey over, goes to the second turnbuckle, flies off with another elbow to the head.

A lazy cover gets 2 for Adonis. Adonis pulls Casey up, small package by the cowboy gets 1. Adonis with the boots to the head of Casey. Adonis pulls Casey up again. A chop across the chest by Adonis. Casey backed to the corner, another chop. Adonis sends Casey to the opposite side. Adonis grabs Casey by the hair and tries to slam his head into the turnbuckle. Casey puts his leg up blocking it, grabs Adonis and slams his head into the turnbuckle. A pair of chops to the chest of Adonis. A bulldog by Casey gets 2 on Adonis. Casey pulls Adonis up, grabs a side headlock, Adonis throws Casey off to the the ropes, Casey attempts a cross body block. Adonis catches Casey, momentum carry both men backwards over the top rope and to the floor. Both men down as the ref starts a 10 count. At 5 Adonis up slowly and tries to pull himself into the ring, Casey grabs Adonis’s leg and pulls, Adonis holding on to the bottom rope. The ref reaches 8, Adonis kicks at Casey who won’t let go the ref reaches 10 just as Adonis breaks free and slides into the ring. The referee declares the match a draw, both men counted out. Adonis is not happy and grabs referee Juan Reynosa and tosses him to the corner threatening to punch him, Scott Casey spins Adonis around and levels him sending him back out of the ring.

The ref was all over Mansfield but the jabs to the throat continued. Forearms to the back of Fernandez, rake of the eyes as Manfield bends the rules at every chance. Mansfield whips Fernandez to the ropes, a wild lariat misses, Fernandez off the ropes flying cross chop takes Mansfield down. Fernandez whips Mansfield to the ropes, an elbow to the mid-section, a back fist to the face. Mansfield grabs his face and rolls out of the ring. Mansfield yells “you see that!”. Fernandez grabs Mansfield, slams his face on the ring apron, rolls him back into the ring. Mansfield scrambles to a corner, Fernandez follows, Mansfield reaches into his tights, Fernandez pulls Mansfield around, a jab to the throat drops Fernandez, Mansfield jams back whatever it was he pulled from his trunks. Fernandez with an elbow drop and cover to get the pinfall.

The Blondes, the Grapplers, and finally Blanchard and Hernandez and be the Southwest tag team champions. Look at my cousins Butch Miller and Luke Williams separate they are dangerous, together they are an unstoppable beast.

A good match from Mr. Piledriver Bruiser Bob Sweetan who was looking better in the ring then when he left Southwest almost a year ago. Donovan put up a good fight but the burly Canadian overwhelmed Donovan and ended the match with a brutal piledriver to get the pinfall

Well that didn’t take long for Bruiser Bob Sweetan who’s back here in Southwest wrestling and let me be the first to say welcome back.

You know I travelled all over this country, met great fans all over but there’s no place like Texas and no fans like the fans here in San Antonio

Well the fans seem happy to see you back as well. You said you were coming back and picking up where you left off and that was Tully Blanchard and the Southwest Heavyweight title.

Bob Sweetan

I’ve held plenty of titles all over the country but the Southwest Heavyweight championship is probably the one that means the most to me. When Blanchard not only beat me in a loser leave town match last year but also took my title in the process, well that’s just some that stuck in my craw. I can take getting beaten by a better man, but to have a whiny, self-entitled brat like Tully Blanchard not even pin but win because the referee thought I was bleeding too much, that just isn’t right. I’m back and I know there’s plenty of men ahead of me for that title but that doesn’t mean I got to wait to get my hands on Blanchard. You just watch yourself Tully because Mr. Piledriver is coming for you.

Texas Tornado Match(No DQ, No Count Out)

Chaos ensued as all four men went at again before the bell even rang. Williams and Jaggers hammered away at each other in a corner, each man being rocked by the other’s shot. Butch Miller had his problems with Conway who fired off some big haymakers and then nailed a nice dropkick to send Miller through the ropes. Jaggers and Conway doubled teamed Williams with a double shoulder block off the ropes. Back and forth it went neither team gaining any real advantage. Miller pulled Jaggers down and out of the ring, slamming his head into the ring post. With Jaggers down Miller, back in the ring nailed Conway in the back of the head. The Sheepherders with a double team back breaker on Conway. The Sheepherders then took turns dropping forearm shots on Conway. Jaggers, busted open tries to climb back in the ring, Boyd is there though nailing him with the New Zealand flag. Miller drapes Conway across his knee, Williams off the turnbuckle with a forearm nails Conway. Jaggers bleeding worse now crawls back in the ring. Miller gnaws on Jaggers head, a double team suplex. Williams covers Jaggers gets two before Conway drops an elbow to break up the pinfall. Butch Miller with a boot to Conway. Boyd gives directions to Miller who grabs Conway, Boyd on the apron tries nailing Conway with the flag, Conway breaks free, Boyd nails Miller sending him down to the mat, Conway dropkicks Boyd off the apron to the floor, Luke Williams grabs Conway from behind and forcefully tosses him over the top rope to the floor. Williams turns back to Jaggers, out of nowhere the Hangman Bobby Jaggers nails Luke Williams with a Lariat and gets the pinfall.

Jaggers and Conway get the win of the Sheepherders and while officials are getting some order restored let me bring in the Southwest champion Tully Blanchard. And Tully, Bob Sweetan had some very pointed words about you.

I ran you out of here for a year, I became the Southwest heavyweight champion, I’m the Southwest tag team champions with the great Gino Hernandez. Seems like you’re nothing but a talker while Tully Blanchard is a doer.

Well we are going to see your partner Gino Hernandez take on your #1 contender Dick Slater so let’s go to the ring.

I’m just going to stand out here and observe and watch a real pro go to work in the ring.

(Gino Hernandez comes out and shakes hands with Tully then heads to the ring, Dick Slater then makes his way out and stops in front of Stack and Blanchard)

Don’t worry about Slater I wouldn’t want to ruin the nice suit I’m wearing. Besides you got enough trouble in the ring.

Hernandez got caught in an arm wringer, Hernandez again went to the ropes to break the hold. Slater slowly let go. Hernandez backed Slater to the ropes, nailed him with a cheap shot, Slater went after Gino who jumped out of the ring to safety.

With all due respect, you might want to have your eyes checked Patterson.

Back in the ring Gino got in some knees and shoulder blocks in the corner. A snap mare, a hard kick to the back of Slater. Hernandez bodyslams Slater, drops an elbow, goes for a cover and gets 1. A front face lock on Slater with Hernandez taking every opportunity to choke Slater. Hernandez lifted Slater for a suplex. Gino proud of what he’s done, Blanchard giving him an ovation. Hernandez takes a bow. Slater rolling over to the ropes pulls himself up, a kick from Hernandez, a whip to the ropes, Slater with a sunset flip. Hernandez fights to stay up, Slater pulls him by the trunks to get him down, ref counts but Hernandez kicks out and puts the boots to Slater. Punches to the head by Hernandez. Slater is staggered, Gino whips him to the opposite corner, Slater in hard,

Tully Blanchard

You got him Gino!

Hernandez with forearms to the side of the head, picks Slater up, side breaker. Hernandez dumps Slater to the mat and covers getting another 2 count. Hernandez drops another elbow. Gino motions that he’s going up, Blanchard gives him a thumbs up from the interview area. Hernandez climbs to the top turnbuckle, off he comes with his reverse elbow, Slater rolls to one side, Hernandez misses. Hernandez up, he pulls Slater up. A punch by Hernandez is blocked, Slater fires off one of his own which connects, another shot wobbles Hernandez, Slater fires away with lefts and rights. A whip to the ropes, Slater catches Hernandez with a backdrop. Slater grabs a leg, spinning toe hold, Slater locks in a figure four leg lock. Tully Blanchard hits the ring, and drops a quick succession of elbows on Slater. The referee calls for the bell Dick Slater defeated Hernandez by DQ thanks to Tully Blanchard’s interference.

The Dynamic Duo strike again beating down Slater. This time Gino whipped Slater into a waiting Blanchard who leveled Mr. Unpredictable with the Southwest title knocking him out.

With Slater knocked out, Blanchard and Hernandez are down right giddy with their handy work.

Post Mortem:

Figured I’d give Perez a different partner in a young Terry Allen Perez is trying but still ain’t clicking.

Allen carried the match for his team but the Blondes came out on top.

Adrian Adonis’s promo was a highlight this week(B rating)

Adonis vs Casey went better than expected(B-)

Bob Sweetan’s return went okay, the match getting a (C+) and the interview after getting a ( C)

Jaggers/Conway vs the Sheepherders match got a (C+) the brawl after got a (C+) as well.

Most everyone was decent to good, even Chick Donovan held his own and matched up well with Sweetan

The only downer was Al Perez again.

Crowd was pretty hot for the Hernandez/Slater match.(B+)

The beat down afterwards also was solid with a (B+)

Overall a good show, nice solid B thanks to the usual suspects, Slater, Hernandez,Blanchard and Adonis and I guess a nod to Scott Casey as well.

Let’s head to the ring for our first match of the day.

King of the Streets Adrian Adonis vs Tommy Rogers

Adrian defeated Rogers with the Good Night Irene Sleeper

A good match between the two, Rogers despite being a rookie looked good and gave Adonis a good match but the King of the Streets prevailed.

Rogers out from Adonis’s sleeper which Adonis refuses to revive him from. Referee Juan Reynosa threatens to reverse the decision. Adonis relents and revives Rogers. The ref helps Rogers to his feet as Adonis turns to exit the ring. Suddenly Adonis turns back around pushes the ref out of the way grabs Rogers in a front face lock and drops head first into the mat. Adonis looks on at Rogers in disgust before finally exiting the ring.

Was that really necessary Adonis? You had the match won and still continued to punish him.

Adrian Adonis

That is how we handle business on the lower east side. Patterson you know what I’m talking about.

Now let me get down to business. The midnight cowboy Scott Casey, last week you knew you couldn’t beat me in the ring so you took it outside the ring to the floor where I’m just as much at home as I am in the ring and I beat you down,I even put a little extra effort to keep you down, but you just wouldn’t stay down. Next time Casey, I’m gonna put you down and you will stay down and if you don’t then I might have little surprise for you, you just never know, it might be at the Junction, it might be the Hemisphere arena, it might be at the Alamo, it might be right here on the streets of San Antonio when you’re out shopping for some new boots but bad things are coming your way.

Sweetan dominated new comer Gary Young from the outset pummeling him so badly that Sweetan didn’t even need to use his deadly piledriver instead finishing Young off with a suplex.

Sweetan was good in the ring but Young’s lack of experience was glaringly apparent

Bruiser Bob Sweetan joining us now and I don’t even think you broke a sweat.

Well that young kid’s got a lot of heart, give him some time.

I know you want to get Tully Blanchard in the ring soon.

I do Steve but Blanchard ain’t going no where and neither am I. I know we got a big show at the Hemisphere Arena coming up in the next few weeks and I’ve signed an open contract, anyone wants to see if they can walk away from the piledriver sign your name on the dotted line.

<div style="text-align:center;">Terry Allen/Manny Fernandez</div><div style="text-align:center;">Mansfield and Fernandez had unfinished business from the previous show. Fernandez teamed up with fan favorite Terry Allen to face the Continental Lover Mansfield and Alberto Madril. Fernandez and Allen worked like they had been a team forever using quick tags. If Madril was in the ring with Fernandez and tried to tag Mansfield he refused, claiming he didn’t see Madril or something was in his eye. Finally Madril had Allen down on the mat, Mansfield reached in and surprised Madril with a blind tag. Mansfield came in, body slammed Allen, Mansfield made a gesture and Fernandez then dropped an elbow on Allen. Mansfield took a little too much time being arrogant giving Allen a chance to recover. Mansfield grabbed Allen sending him to the ropes, Allen reversed it and caught Mansfield coming off with a belly to belly suplex. Mansfield was stunned, Allen crawled over and tagged Fernandez who came in red hot. Mansfield seeing Fernandez scrambled for his corner and tagged in Madril who was hesitant to come in the ring. Fernandez was more than willing to help dragging Madril over the top rope and into the ring, Fernandez hit a double chop to Madril. A dropkick caught Madril flush on the chin. Fernandez with a big hip toss into the corner, Madril reached up for a tag but Mansfield was gone standing on the floor a few feet away staring at the ring before throwing his hands up and walking away. Madril was left to fight on his own, Fernandez if he couldn’t get ahold of Mansfield then Madril would have to do. Grabbing a shocked Madril he whipped him to the ropes, a flying forearm took Madril down, Fernandez tagged in Allen, who grabbed Madril for an atomic drop and covering him for the pin.

Manny Fernandez and Terry Allen getting a victory. Let me bring in man who we haven’t seen in a week thanks to Tully Blanchard and Gino Hernandez, Mr. Unpredictable Dick Slater. I have to ask how are you feeling.

Well Steve I’ve been better but thanks for asking. Seems every time I turn around the last few weeks I’ve been getting beat up no thanks to Hernandez and Blanchard, that tells me Blanchard is scared, he knows he’s living on borrowed time as Southwest champ. My problem is making sure I’m in one piece to do what Blanchard knows I can do, put his shoulders to the mat, Now I got some ideas but I’m just gonna leave it at that.

A good competitive match between the two, Kiniski relying on a ground game to keep the cowboy under control. Casey surprised Kiniski by showing some technical prowess but eventually Casey was able to take control and finish off with a bulldog

Adonis is the one that’s been running his mouth for weeks, how he gets no respect, how he should be Southwest champion, how he’s the baddest man walking the streets, he wanted someone to challenge him well I did. Now I may not have won the match but neither did Adonis and that seems to have gotten under his skin. He wants to make threats about what he’s got in store for me, well I ain’t never backed away from a fight with any man and I’m not about to start. Adonis you want me I’m not hard to find.

I have known the Guerrero family for some time. Gory Guerrero was an innovator, ahead of his time, Chavo I met in California he’s always been a gentleman out of the ring and always exciting to watch in the ring. Hector is just fantastic to watch. The whole family just has wrestling in their blood, it would be great for them to be the ones to get a chance against the champs.

Oh Patterson, listening to you go on about the Guerrero family is making me nauseous. Why don’t you just adopt them all. Carson threatened to get involved but referee Ken Farber put a stop to that. Grappler #1 tried to use that questionable boot of his while Grappler #2 held Chavo Guerrero but Chavo broke loose, Grappler #2 taking the kick from the orthopedic boot of his partner squarely to the mid section, Hector quickly went up and flew from the top rope over his brother Chavo taking out Grappler #1 leaving Chavo to take advantage of a staggered Grappler #2 with a belly to back suplex pin getting the win for the Guerreros.The Guerreros get their hands raised while Carson is livid, the Grapplers try to regroup themselves and calm their manager down.

Post Mortem:

The Dynamic Duo brought their usual promo awesomeness(B-)

But Tully's promo on Dick Slater went over like gangbusters(A)

Rogers and Adonis work well with each other. That kid Rogers might have a bright future in front of him.(B-)

On the other hand Adonis’s beat down afterwards didn’t go over well with the fans, apparently beating down jobbers is frowned upon(C-)

Dick Slater’s interview was off especially for him got the point across, that’s about it.(C+)

Cowboy Scott Casey is not a master of the art of the promo(C )

Don Carson and the Grapplers interview did good(C+)

The main event I hoped would do better than what it did(C+)

Hopefully the Guerreros vs the Dynamic Duo will do better.

Tully Blanchard the Southwest Heavyweight Champion and co-holder of the Southwest Tag team titles with Gorgeous Gino Hernandez takes on Hector and Chavo Guerrero for those tag team titles. Hangman Bobby Jaggers and Tiger Conway Jr. see action against the Fabulous Blondes, Flamboyant Eric Embry and Gentleman Ken Timbs. Let's go to the ring for our first match as Scott Casey gets ready for action.

The rookie Young was game to give Casey a fight but the Cowboy was not in the mood to play this week. A knee lift and lariat had the youngster stunned.

Young in the corner was caught with running lariat by Casey followed by a bulldog and the pinfall.

Let’s head to the ring for our first match

Terry Allen vs Chick Donovan

An okay match between these two young men. Allen showing improvement week after week in the ring worked over the arm of Donovan with an arm wringer, Donovan took a shot at the ribs of Allen, slams the head of Allen into the turn buckle. A couple of punches by Donovan gets Allen fired up. Donovan back pedals. Allen with a kick to the mid section, a whip to the corner slumps Donovan over. A dropkick by Allen sends Donovan down. Allen pulls him back up and to the ropes again. Allen with a belly to belly suplex takes Donovan down. Allen drops a leg across the chest of Donovan and gets the pinfall.

I'm joined by Alberto Madril, and last week you had a tag team match with Eddie Mansfield as your partner against Manny Fernandez and Terry Allen and it seemed as though Mansfield did everything he could to avoid getting in the ring with Fernandez eventually leaving ringside and you to fend for yourself.

You know Steve I've asked myself that all week, what was Mansfield thinking. The only thing I can figure is..

(Eddie Mansfield comes out and interrupts Madril)

Al, my com padre, I know things didn’t turn out well last week.

It’s because you walked away from the match.

Al, buddy, we can go back and forth all day over who is to blame.You say I walked away, I say you weren’t pulling your weight but it don’t matter.

The fact is I think we got a real chance at being the top team here in the Southwest. So why don’t both just say we’re sorry and give it another shot.

(Madril seems to mull over Mansfield’s apology as Mansfield waits)

Well what do you say Al?

First I told you don’t call me Al. And second(Madril hauls off and slaps Mansfield across the face)take your apology and shove it, you’re nothing

but a coward with a yellow streak down your back a mile long. I may not get along with Manny Fernandez but I hope he beats the hell out of you.

(Mansfield stands there stunned for a moment as Madril turns to walk away. Mansfield jumps Madril from behind running him into the ring post yelling “I ain’t no coward!” over and over. Mansfield slams Madril again into the ringpost. Mansfield rolls Madril into the ring, Madril bleeding badly from the ring post shots, eyes glazed over. Mansfield unwraps the tape around his wrist, choking Madril with it.)

Manny Fernandez hits the ring and nails Mansfield driving him from the ring. Madril slumps to the mat, Madril is being checked on my Southwest officials and Fernandez stares a hole in Mansfield as he high tails to the back.)

Seems like Eddie Mansfield is only brave when he can either attack you from behind to get the upper hand or lie and cheat.

He’s no man, a man stands up and fights not sneaking around trying ambush you like some old west movie.

I know there’s a big card coming up at the Hemisphere soon, I’m begging promoters to put me in a match against Mansfield,

a special kind of match, one where he can’t run away and hide, I want him in a strap match, one end around my wrist, the other on his wrist,

if he tries to run he'll be yanked right back.

Let’s head to the ring for our next match as Dick Slater takes on a newcomer to the area, a very mysterious individual called the Ninja Warrior who is an accomplished martial artists from the Orient.

Dick Slater vs Ninja Warrior

Before the match Tully Blanchard made his way to ringside holding the Southwest heavyweight title.

Having some words with the Ninja Warrior before the match.

Slater leans over the ropes and has some words for him “You’re going to get yours soon Blanchard!”

Blanchard told Slater"don't worry about me, you better worry about him." Slater made the cardinal mistake of turning his back

on his opponent and the Ninja took advantage with chops to the back of the neck. A snapmare and hard kick to the chest had Slater hurting early on.

The Ninja clamped on a neck nerve hold as Blanchard smiled at ringside. Slater fought to his feet, elbows to the mid-section,

Slater catches the Ninja off the ropes with a drop toe hold, Slater up quickly, a series of elbows to the back of the head

of the Ninja in quick succession stun the Warrior. Off the ropes Slater with an back elbow to the chest of the Ninja, swinging neckbreaker follows.

Blanchard slaps the ring motivating the Ninja. Slater reaches through the ropes grasping at Blanchard who stays just out of reach,

Slater turns back around, Ninja catches him with a round house kick dropping Slater to a knee. The Ninja drapes Slater over the middle rope choking him,

Blanchard stands in front of Slater taunting him Tully Blanchard pointing to his title"This is as close as your going to get!”

The Ninja off the ropes tries to land on Slater who moves out of the way. The Ninja catches himself in the ropes.

Slater with a side Russian leg sweep, a cover gets 2 but Slater pulls him up, looks at Blanchard lifts the Ninja up for a pile driver.

Blanchard slaps the ring apron and walks off as Slater gets the pinfall.

Dick Slater joins Steve Stack after the match

Blanchard, you’ve tried everything, you and your buddy Hernandez beat me down week after week, you try and get guys like this do your dirty work.

Keep sending these hit men after me and I’ll keep knocking them down until there’s no one left but me and you.

The Fabulous Blondes(Flamboyant Eric Embry/Gentleman Ken Timbs)

vs

Hangman Bobby Jaggers/Tiger Conway Jr.

Conway got his team off to a quick start with a series of successive arm drags that had Embry looking for advice from his partner. Timbs tagged in and met much the same fate as Embry. Jaggers tagged in slowed things down with a side head lock on Timbs. Timbs backed Jaggers into the corner, tried to throw a haymake, Jaggers blocked and leveled Timbs who crawled over to his corner holding his jaw. Embry checked on his partner then tagged in. Embry with some shots to the ribs, Jaggers off the ropes gets a knee to the mid section by Embry sending him to the mat. A knee drop stuns the Hangman, Timbs tags in, drops an elbow, showing their tag team expertise with quick tags and double teams, Embry back in and drops a fist onto Jaggers head. Embry with a whip to the ropes, flying back elbow smash sends Jaggers back down. Embry tags Timbs, holds Jaggers arms back, Timbs with a double ax handle to the top of the head. Timbs drives a knee to the lower back, Timbs on Jaggers, grabs him by the chin and rears back. The ref asks Jaggers if he wants to give up. Jaggers got to his feet and rammed Timbs into the corner, Jaggers crawled to his corner, Conway Jr. in, nails Timbs with a dropkick, one for Embry as well. Conway off the second rope with a splash covers Timbs, gets a two count. Timbs tags Embry in, fists fly between Conway and Embry. Conway off the ropes with a flying tackle nails Embry. Jaggers tagged back in, whip to the ropes, big lariat by the Hangman. Cover by Jaggers, Timbs in drops an elbow to the back of the head, Conway in, catches Timbs with some forearm shots staggering him. Referee Ken Farber gets pushes Conway out of the ring, with the distractions Embry and Timbs double teamed Jaggers nailing him with a double clothesline. Embry grabs Jaggers up, Timbs to the second turnbuckle, a double stuff pile driver on Jaggers. Embry covers Jaggers, the ref turns and counts the pinfall.

The Fabulous Blondes getting their arms raised and the Sheepherders hit the ring with the Warlord Jonathan Boyd. Boyd nails Conway with the New Zealand Flag repeatedly. The Sheepherders attack the Blonds, Miller nails Timbs with a battering ram head butt to the mid-section. Luke Miller pummels Embry down to the mat, Boyd nails Timbs with the flag as well. Miller and Williams lift Embry up and drop him across their knees in a modified gut buster. Williams grabs Jaggers and pile drives him yet again. Miller tosses Conway over the top rope to the floor. Boyd and Miller hold the New Zealand flag horizontally. Luke Williams whips Embry at them, Boyd and Miller clothesline Embry with the flag. Miller goes outside the ring and throws Conway Jr back in the ring, he grabs a grocery bag from the floor at ringside. He pulls out a can, Boyd takes the can, opens it up and begins pouring it all over the Blondes ,Jaggers and Conway. It's some sort of black goo that has an awful stench. Miller and Williams grab two bags out of the bigger grocery bag and begin dumping feathers all over the prone teams. The Blondes and Jaggers and Conway Jr. have just been tarred and feathered. Boyd holds the New Zealand flag up as the Sheepherders stand at attention and salute the flag surrounded by the chaos before they all begin laughing and giving some parting kicks.

Chavo/Hector Guerrero

Blanchard and Hernandez, arrogant as ever mock and make jokes at the Guerreros expense.

Blanchard and Chavo started out. Blanchard and Hernandez tried to establish control but quickly found out that the Guerreros were not to be taken lightly. Blanchard tried a rear arm bar but found himself on that mat repeatedly thanks to some snap arm drags from Chavo. Hernandez tagged in, arm drag by Gino has him very proud of himself. Hector in now, tie up, Hector with a pair of snap arm drags has Gino re-thinking things. Tully tags in, struts around the ring, ties up with Hector. In the corner, Blanchard nails Hector with repeated elbows to the back of head. A whip, Hector reverses, Tully in hard, Hector with a head scissors out of the corner, Blanchard stunned, Hector with a flying head scissors takes Blanchard down. Tully rolls out of the ring,slaps the apron. Both of the Dynamic Duo are getting frustrated early on. A conversation between the two and Blanchard back in the ring. Knees to the mid-section double up Hector. More elbow shots to the back of the head, Gino in, continues the elbow shots to the head. Hernandez nails Hector off the ropes with an elbow smash. Tully in, kicks to Guerrero, a suplex by Tully and more kicks. Gino in grabs a side head lock and nails Hector with a fist out of view of the ref. An elbow to the top of Guererro’s head sends him down to one knee. Gino runs Hector head first to the turn buckle. A slam by Hernandez, Tully in now, a suplex followed by an elbow drop on Hector. Blanchard covers for a 1. Gino in, grabs Hector, a small package rollup by Hector surprises Gino and gets a 2 count.

(Dandy Don Carson comes to the floor with his Grapplers. The masked men seem to want to get involved but Carson holds them back observing the match.)

A whip to the ropes by Hernandez, Hector over with a sunset flip again getting a 2 count. Blanchard in, measures Guerrero, a fist straight to the nose, Guerrero fires back with slaps to the chest backing Blanchard up, a series of forearm uppercuts rocks Blanchard. A back breaker by Guerrero, a cover gets 2 but Hernandez is there to break it up. Finally a tag to Chavo, whips Blanchard to the ropes, Guerrero leaps up nailing Blanchard with his posterior sending Blanchard to the floor. Guerrero over springs over the top rope with splash on to Blanchard sending him sprawling to the floor. Chavo rolls Blanchard back into the ring. Chavo drops a knee on Blanchard and covers, Hernandez in drops an elbow to the back of Chavo, a body slam. Hernandez turns right into a dropkick from Hector sending Gino through the ropes to the ring apron. The ref tries to get Hector out of the ring, Chavo with slaps to the chest of Blanchard, a whip to the ropes

reversed by Blanchard, Chavo rebounds off, Blanchard uses Chavo’s momentum to send him over the top to the floor. Chavo is down.

(Grappler #1 taps his orthapedic boot)

The referee reprimands Blanchard, with the referee’s back turned Grappler #1 runs over and levels Guerrero with a kick to the head from that boot. The Grapplers roll Chavo back into the ring. Hector runs along the ring apron and dives on both masked men all three crash to the floor. Blanchard picks Guerrero up and body slams him. Hernandez to the top rope and comes off with a reverse elbow getting the 3 count.

Hector checks on Chavo as referee Ken Farber hands the titles back to the Dynamic Duo who raise them over their heads.

Post Mortem

A big resounding thud of a show(C rating)

Had high hopes for the main event but it garnered a C+. Everything else was mediocre at best. Tiger Conway Jr. and Bobby Jaggers don't work together at all. Even the usual shining stars Slater, Blanchard, Fernandez and Hernandez brought nothing to the table this week.

Well at least USA hasn't cancelled us yet, thankfully we have the syndicated show soon.</div>

Steve, when I came to Southwest wrestling it wasn’t just to be an announcer, it was also to go out and scout the best talent I could find and bring that talent here to Texas to go with the already outstanding group of wrestlers we have. For a week I was up in Kansas City and St. Louis looking for good, young talent to build a future on. I found 2 such young men who impressed me a great deal and you will be seeing them today.

In addition to these new comers to the area, Cowboy Scott Casey will take on the King of the Streets Adrian Adonis, popular Terry Allen will be here as well as our main event as Bruiser Bob Sweetan, Mr.Piledriver himself will take on the Handsome Half-Breed Gino Hernandez.

Later tonight the Handsome Half Breed Gorgeous Gino Hernandez is going to step in the ring and face the man, the myth, the legend Bob Sweetan. Mr. Piledriver himself.

One of the most brutal, vicious men to ever step foot in the ring. His pile driver ranks right up as one of the deadliest moves in the wrestling.

But tonight it’s not any nine to fiver step in the ring Sweetan.

It’s Gino Hernandez, the Handsome Half-Breed, the man all the women want and all the men want to be.

Tonight I am going to destroy the myth of Mr. Piledriver. Sweetan you’ve got people believing everywhere you’ve gone that you’re some unstoppable force.

When I’m done with you you’re going to be nothing more than a broken, beaten, shattered lie.

Flamboyant Eric Embry vs Bobby Fulton

Embry took on Fulton, a newcomer to the area who has a lot of people in the business seeing big things in his future.

Fulton showed why many people are very high on him holding his own against Embry.

But the Flamboyant one took some short cuts and pinned Fulton with a piledriver.

Eric Embry

How observant of you Stack. See it doesn’t matter if I’m in the ring as part of the best tag team in the country, the uncrowned champions of Southwest wrestling or in the ring as a singles competitor I will always come out a winner. And Mr. Patterson if that’s the best you could find then the future ain’t gonna be too bright.

Embry shouldn’t be so arrogant or he may find himself staring at the lights because of a young man like Fulton.

Let’s got to the ring as the King of the Streets Adrian Adonis takes on the Cowboy Scott Casey.

Adrian Adonis vs Cowboy Scott Casey

Casey was angry and aggressive going after Adonis who didn’t back down from the fight. Going at each tooth and nail. This was not wrestling but a down and dirty fight. Referee Ken Farber got pushed away on several occasions and would have been perfectly within his power to disqualify both men but didn’t. Casey seemed to get the upper hand as he drove Adonis to the corner. Casey charged from the opposite corner looking to nail Adonis with a lariat.The cagey Adonis pulled the ref into the path of Casey, the referee dropped to the mat. With the referee down and disoriented, Casey went after Adonis with kicks, with Adonis softened up Casey with bulldog and cover. The referee still down couldn’t count the fall. Casey tried to get the ref up. With Casey distracted, Adonis pulled a chain from his tights, Casey turned around and was dropped by Adonis. Adonis covered Casey as the ref came to and counted the fall to get the pin.

Adonis shoved the chain in his mouth as Casey argued with the referee about Adonis using a foreign object.

Referee Ken Farber demanded to search Adonis. Adonis assumed the position and was frisked by Farber who found nothing.

Adonis took the chain from his mouth and tucked it back in his trunks.

Adonis went to exit the ring, Casey pushed Farber out of the way and spun Adonis flattening him with a right.

Killer Brooks came from out of nowhere and hit the ring,nailing Casey from behind with big forearm shots Adonis grabbed Casey in a front face lock and dropped him head first into the mat.

Boots from both Adonis and Brooks. Killer Brooks went to the second rope and dropped a leg across the chest of Scott Casey.

Adonis and Brooks raised their arms and spat on Casey as they left the ring.

Things have taken a turn for the worst for Casey with the addition of Killer Brooks to things.

That is one rough, surly looking individual.

Patterson, you have not clue how right you are. Casey I promised you a surprise and boy did you looked surprised (laughs). The most dangerous man next to myself is right here, Killer Brooks, this man’s reputation in Texas speaks for itself from Galveston to Dallas, from Houston to San Antonio everyone knows who and what this man is capable of, and he’s on my side.

I’m here for one thing and one thing only, money. Adonis is paying me a lot of money to hurt you Casey and that’s exactly what I’m gonna do.

(Adonis/Brooks walk off leaving Pat and Steve to reach the conclusion that)

Adonis is dangerous enough on his own but with this Brooks by his side there may be no telling what kind of damage they could do.

Kiniski tried to attack Allen before the bell. Allen with some punches backed Kiniski off. Kiniski bulled Allen to the corner and buried some shoulder blocks into Allen’s mid section. Kiniski tried to whip him to the opposite corner, Allen reversed it catching Kiniski wobbling out of the corner with a Belly-To-Belly Suplex to get the win.

Last week the Southwest tag team champions Tully Blanchard and Gino Hernandez defeated Hector/Chavo Guerrero. Let’s take a look at the closing moments of the match.

(A replay of Chavo outside the ring, Grappler #1 using that questionable orthopedic boot to deliver a devastating kick which led to Chavo getting pinned by Gino Hernandez.)

Before their match I’m joined by Dandy Don Carson and his masked Grapplers. Why did your man interfere in the title match?

Don Carson

You forgot to mention “Best Dressed Man in Wrestling” for 5 consecutive years. It’s simple really,we weren’t there to help Blanchard and Hernandez we were there to stop the Guerreros. If my Grapplers aren’t going to get the titles then no one will, not the Guerreros, not the Blonds, not even the Sheepherders. There are lots of tag teams that claim to be the best there is but you and all these idiots know when I say my Grapplers are the best, I’m speaking the truth. These men work in unison like no other team is this sport. Name any team, the Fabulous Ones, the Samoans, the Andersons even the tag team champions, the supposed Dynamic Duo can’t hold a candle to the Grapplers.

The Grapplers perhaps trying to prove all of Carson’s earlier statements out wrestled and outclassed Perez and Jannetty at every turn. Grappler #1 pinned Jannetty with a Grappler Arm Breaker(body splash on the arm).Carson was good outside the ring goading and distracting the youngsters,Perez and Jannetty easily.

They are an impressive teambut they don’t have what we have which is blood, we are family and no amount of chemistry can top that.

We had the titles right here, right in our hands but the Grapplers denied us what was rightfully ours. So we’re here today to ask Commissioner Thesz to to come out

(Thesz appears the Guerreros plead their case for wanting a match against the Grapplers,)

Mr. Thesz you saw what happened last week as did everyone else watching. Me and Chavo were raised in wrestling things like that happen. We can’t change it and neither can you. But what we do want is the Grapplers in the ring.

We are asking you to let us have the Grapplers in a match.

(Thesz is sympathetic)

I understand your disappointment from last week. It was a big opportunity that was ruined by the Grapplers.And will take your request to matchmakers for their consideration and will let you know next week.

Southwest Heavyweight Champion Tully Blanchard vs Tommy Rogers

Rogers showed why he’s a top prospect in any territory going hold for hold, move for move with the champion which was frustrating for the champion. Blanchard’s skill and experience was the deciding factor though as he finished Rogers off with a Brain Buster.

With Rogers slow to recover, Blanchard being ever the opportunist, lays the boots into Rogers, perhaps because he gave Blanchard more of a match than he should have.

Mr. Unpredictable Dick Slater charges to the ring, spins Blanchard around and fires away with jabs, Blanchard into the ropes as Slater rears back for a big right, Blanchard holds on to the ropes,drops to the mat and rolls from the ring, grabbing his title he smiles at Slater as he heads back to the locker room.

I’m getting sick and tired of this Blanchard! You always got some plan, some scheme to stay on top, to keep those titles around your waist, to inflict as much damage as you can. You beat up some kid who just gave it everything he had and you just couldn’t stand that could you. And when you can’t get the job done against me you try and get that Ninja to do your dirty work, and when all else fails you got your buddy Hernandez to save your skin. You refuse to sign a contract against me for the Southwest title. You can only dodge and hide for so long!

Manny Fernandez is up next.

Manny Fernandez vs Ninja Warrior

Fernandez’s fiery temper carried him through this match as the Ninja Warrior’s lethal martial arts skills had little effect. Fernandez seemed

to get more fired up with each kick and chop from the Ninja.

An elbow, a dropkick, a back fist all lead to Fernandez catching the Ninja off the ropes with a flying forearm to get the win.

Steve Stack talked to Manny Fernandez after the match about Eddie Mansfield

It’s been a week Mansfield and still you haven’t said a word. Are you afraid of me or afraid of 15 ft. of rawhide leather?

Of it slapping against your skin and tearing it apart, of the welts and bruises that are going to be all over your body, the pain that’s going to be so bad you won’t be able to walk for a week.

Or maybe it’s both, me and the strap that sends that shiver down that yellow spine of yours.

Mr. Piledriver Bob Sweetan vs Gorgeous Gino Hernandez

Sweetan took offense to Hernandez’s comments earlier brutalizing the Handsome Half-Breed. To his credit Gino fought back hard against the relentlessness of Mr. Piledriver.

Things got out of hand and the match turned into a full on pier 6 brawl, spilling to the floor and earning neither man a victory as the referee counted them out.

With Hernandez heading back to the locker room Steve Stack got a quick in ring interview from

Sweetan”Any time Hernandez you want to see how much truth there is to this myth, I’ll be waiting!”

Gino Hernandez was the highlight with his promo on Bob Sweetan(B- rating)

Most of the matches were okay with ratings being between C+ and C-

The worst of the night was Terry Allen’s match along with his interview(E for the match/D for the interview)but he’ll come along I’m sure.

Bobby Fulton’s debut went okay. Marty Jannetty’s not so much, must be the albatross of Al Perez around his neck, he just stinks the joint up.

Tully Blanchard and Tommy Rogers work well together(is there anybody Rogers doesn’t gel with? First Adonis, now Blanchard)

The attack on Rogers afterwards failed(D rating),Slater chasing Blanchard off wasn’t much better(C- rating)

Don Carson and the Grapplers were better this week in their interview(C+)

The Guerreros appealing to Lou Thesz came off better than I expected(C rating), this was unexpected

because Thesz sucks the life out of things anytime he’s in front of a mic.

Overall show got a C+ rating, yaa! Better than last week, can we make it 2 in row?

Al Perez vs Marty Jannetty

Jannetty wanted to go full speed and Perez wanted to keep it slow and on the mat. This led to an awkward and difficult to watch match.

The hapless Perez got caught by Jannetty off the ropes with a thrust kick to the chin and Jannetty got the pinfall. Perez stands in the ring, head hung low, dejected at yet another loss.

Steve Stack started to talk about the Hemisphere card but stopped when Pat Patterson walked over to the ring and started talking to Perez. After a minute or two, Patterson patted Perez on the back and returned to rejoin Stack

I’m sorry for walking off like that Steve I just really hate seeing any kid who seems to have potential get so down himself. I told Al if he wanted some advice all he has to do is ask.

And that goes for any of the young guys in back too.

The Ninja Warrior vs Bobby Fulton

Fulton gave it his all in this match standing toe to toe with the martial arts expert. Fulton missed a dropkick and took some punishment, fought back

valiantly but a thrust to the throat put him down and the Japanese Sleeper put him out for the submission.</div>

Terry Allen vs Chick Donovan

Allen looks all business in the ring as Donovan poses a bit trying to impress the fans.

The lock up, Donovan hammers away, driving Allen to the ropes. A whip is reversed and Donovan is sent high in the air with a backdrop. Allen pulls Donovan up, Belly to Belly Suplex ends this quick giving Allen the pinfall.

That is one of the quickest wins I’ve seen. I don’t know what Allen has been doing or how he’s been training but he’s been impressive lately.

I only have one question, how many times do we have to beat up and embarrass you bloody Yanks. We’ve hurt them, made them bleed, good god we’ve tarred, feathered and made them look like big ugly emus. And yet here we go again, Jaggers and Conway, Conway and Jaggers. At some point boys this is not amusing any more. Your just an obstacle to what my cousins want the tag team titles. I’ve told Butch and Luke if we are going to get those belts then the road blocks have to go. I’m actually quite sorry for what’s going to happen to you tonight but as you Yanks say, those are the breaks.

The Sheepherders vs Bobby Jaggers/Tiger Conway Jr.

The Sheepherders were especially vicious this time. Conway and Jaggers put up a good fight still angry over being made to look like fools. Conway went after Boyd leaving Jaggers at the mercy of the Kiwis who brutalized the Hangman. Miller and Williams eventually lifted a beaten Hangman up and dropped him across their knees stomach first to get the pin and the win.

(While things were being cleared up in the ring Steve gave a run down of the card for the Hemisphere Arena)

Terry Allen takes on the dangerous Ninja Warrior. After Commissioner Thesz’s announcement

Hector and Chavo Guerrero will face The Grapplers with their manager Don Carson at ringside and King of the Streets Adrian Adonis and Killer Tim Brooks will face Cowboy Scott Casey and a partner of his choosing who is not already a part of the Southwest roster in a tag team battle. And now we seem to be ready for our main event so let's head to the ring.

Manny Fernandez vs Gorgeous Gino Hernandez

Fernandez came to the ring with that 15 foot leather strap that he wants to use on Eddie Mansfield but Mansfield has yet to respond to the challenge. The Handsome Half-Breed stayed clear of the ring as long as that strap was present. Eventually referee Ken Farber had Manny set the strap down in the corner. Gino still cautious slowly made his way into the ring.

A good back and forth between these two evenly match individuals. Hernandez seemed to get the upper hand on Manny when he locked on a sleeper hold Fernandez dropped to one knee but before any thing else could happen the Continental Lover Eddie Mansfield jumped in the ring and started kicking Fernandez in the mid-section. The ref called for the bell disqualifying a shocked Gino Hernandez for interference.

Mansfield beat Fernandez down and tried to get Hernandez to help but Gino still upset about Mansfield costing him the match just backed away. Mansfield continued pounding away at Manny. Mansfield grabbed that 15 foot leather strap Manny has been carrying around, dragged Fernandez to the middle of the ring, hog tying Manny with it. Fernandez dazed and tied was at Mansfield’s mercy. Mansfield pulled out the same pair of scissors he had used on Alberto Madril and started cutting away at Fernandez’s hair. A few clumps of black hair was all Mansfield was able to manage before Terry Allen, Tommy Rogers and Alberto Madril charged the ring and drove Mansfield off.

to stop us from really doing some damage.

Guerreros? You’re welcome. If I had let these two men do what they really wanted to, you wouldn’t be able to walk

much less make it into a wrestling ring so again you are welcome.

As the Grapplers head to the ring for our first match, let me just quickly say that on today’s show you will all see the deadly and mysterious Ninja Warrior take on an exciting young man to the area Joe Savoldi, as well as the team of Adrian Adonis and Killer Brooks take on Tommy Rogers and Bobby Fulton. Terry Allen will take on ½ of the Fabulous Blondes Gentleman Ken Timbs. Let’s head to the ring as the action gets started.

The Grapplers w/Dandy Don Carson vs Al Perez/Kelly Kiniski

Carson made some comments directed at Al Perez about his less than stellar win/loss record. Perez went after Carson but was attacked by the Grapplers to get the bout underway. Grappler #1 held Perez in a front face lock, Perez more fired up than usual bulled the masked man to the corner. Some shoulder blocks, Perez sent Grappler #1 to the ropes and nailed a nice looking dropkick. Kiniski came in motivated by Perez’s success caught the Grappler #1 with a body slam, a knee drop, and tried for a back body drop but was caught with a kick by Grappler #1. Dragging Kiniski to the corner, both Grapplers double teamed him. Grapple #2 caught Kiniski with a knee off the ropes, an elbow drop missed, Perez tagged in, came in a house of fire. Fists to Grappler #2, a dropkick sends him reeling, Grappler #1 charged in, getting a dropkick as well. Kiniski came in grabbed Grappler #2, Perez had Grappler #1, Double whip sends the masked men crashing into each other. Perez picks up Grappler #2, a powerslam and cover gets 2. Kiniski throws Grappler #1 through the ropes to the apron. The ref tries to get Kiniski out of the ring. Grappler #2 whips Perez into the ropes, Perez up and over for a sunset flip. Grappler #1 kicks the toe of his orthepedic boot against the apron, comes in the ring and quickly gives Perez a boot to the head, Perez flops over to the mat. With Kiniski finally out of the ring, the ref turns back around to see one of the Grappler’s cover Perez and counts 3 to give the masked men the win.

Oh no, Carson isn’t getting away with this!

(Patterson heads to ringside and calls over referee Juan Reynosa and explains what the Grapplers did including the

questionable boot and the wrong man getting the pin. Reynosa reverses the decision and awards the match to Perez and Kiniski.

Carson and the Grapplers throw a fit. Carson grabs Patterson, spins him around and begins berating him yelling “what do you think you’re doing Patterson!”

Patterson yells back “Not letting you get away with cheating these two men out of a match they had won!”

Carson keeps poking Patterson with an accusing finger as the Grapplers close in. Finally Patterson has had enough

and decks Carson sending him to the floor. The Grapplers start to go after Patterson but stop suddenly

when Hector and Chavo Guerrero make their way out and flank Patterson. Carson is helped up by his men and all 3 slowly walk off

with Carson yelling “you’ll pay! All of you will pay! No one puts their grubby mitts on me!”

Terry Allen vs Gentleman Ken Timbs w/Eric Embry at ringside.

Allen on a bit of a winning streak had his work cut out for him this week. Allen started out quick with a series of arm drags that had the Gentleman seeking solace from his partner at ringside. Embry gave Timbs a quick pep talk before sending him back into the ring. Timbs played fast and loose with the rules to keep Allen from mounting any offense. Embry applauded his partner after a nice fist drop got a 2 count. Timbs yelled to Embry “Watch this”. Timbs went to the 2nd rope, looked down at Allen still on the mat and with encouragement from Embry went to the top rope. Timbs talking a little too long to get up there gave Allen enough time to get to his feet. Timbs came off the top rope right into the arms of Allen and the Belly to Belly Suplex for the pin as the Eric Embry tripped over himself trying to get in the ring and stop the fall.

Adrian Adonis/Killer Brooks vs Bobby Fulton/Tommy Rogers

First time Rogers and Fulton have teamed up. Fulton frustrated Adonis with his quickness.

Brooks came in as did Rogers, Brooks used hammering forearms to soften up Rogers.

Adonis wanted back in taking Rogers down with a drop toe hold, Adonis worked the leg driving the knee into the mat.

Brooks came back in, dropped an elbow to the back of Rogers head. Brooks rammed Rogers into the corner. Adonis came back in, tried for a back drop. Rogers leaped over, a dropkick sent Adonis to the ropes. Rogers got to his corner, Fulton in and a flurry of rights and lefts rocked the self proclaimed King of the Streets. Brooks in and is caught with a knee sending him outside to the apron. Rogers/Fulton double teamed Adonis with a suplex. Adonis sent to the corner, Rogers with a monkey flip. Adonis reversed an irish whip to the ropes, Brooks from the apron caught Rogers with a lariat to the back of the head. Rogers walked right into a front face lock by Adonis who then dropped Roger’s head straight into the mat to get the pinfall.

Ninja Warrior vs Jumping Joe Savoldi

Savoldi making his debut in Southwest. The Ninja Warrior’s unorthodox style facing off against Savoldi’s more high flying style didn’t mesh well, there were some rough spots here and there. Savoldi having not had much experience with wrestlers from the Far East ended up being caught with a round house kick to the head dazing him enough for the Ninja Warrior to lock on his Japanese Sleeper and get the submission.

Eddie Mansfield has some words with Steve Stack.

Fernandez wants me to get in the ring and put 15 feet of tanned cowhide around my wrist, get beat so badly that he can drag me around that ring and touch all four corners. Mansfield hit the ring and was all over Young before he even knew what was going on. Mansfield slammed Young into every corner of the ring. Choked him with the top rope. Threw him outside the ring, slammed him on the floor, dragged him back in the ring, slammed him there. Mansfield stomped, punched, gouged and gnawed on Young, finally bringing it to a merciful end with a knee lift to get the pinfall.

You want a strap match against me after what I’ve done to you Manny Fernandez? I’ll tell you what I’ll put that miserable, skin tearing hide around my wrist but you gotta sweeten the deal for me,make it worth my while. You gotta put your hair on the line,If...ha when I beat you, you’ll sit in the middle of the ring like the supposed big man you are and let me shave you bald as the day you were born!

Dick Slater vs Chick Donovan

Tully Blanchard came out not to wrestle but to observe as he watched from ringside. The sight of Blanchard riled the #1 contender up. Slater took it out on Donovan, rubbing his face into the mat. Slater had Donovan down a few times where he could of pinned him but pulled him up at the 2 count while staring holes at Blanchard. Slater seemed to be done punishing Donovan after hitting a Russian leg sweep which could have easily gotten the pin but Slater decided to show Blanchard what might possibly be in store for him, picking Donovan up and dropping him squarely on his head with a pile driver right in front of Blanchard.

Immediately after the ref’s hand slaps the mat for the third time, Blanchard jumps in the ring and attacks Slater. Slater fires away backing Blanchard up. Elbows from Blanchard, right and left jabs from Slater, Blanchard takes Slater to the mat, they roll around trying to pound away at each other as wrestlers from the back come out and try to break up the brawl.

Also today Terry Allen is taking on the Continental Lover Eddie Mansfield and Terry has been on quite a winning streak lately.

Yes he has but Mansfield is so cagey, he might just put an end to it and if he does, Allen better hope it doesn’t cost him some hair.

Also today the Hangman Bobby Jaggers/Tiger Conway Jr. take on the Fabulous Blondes the Gentlemen Ken Timbs and the Flamboyant Eric Embry and the winner of that match has to be considered to be a top contender for the Southwest titles at some point.

Both teams have had their problems with another team that is in the discussion when talking about the tag titles and that’s the Kiwi Sheepherders.

Cowboy Steve Casey takes on Adrian Adonis’s hired gun or mercenary, what ever you want to call him today, Killer Brooks.

He’s Adonis’s goon, that’s about the only word that fits. This match is a possible preview of the tag team match between Adonis, Brooks, Casey and his as yet unknown partner.

And finally our main event as the Dynamic Duo, Tully Blanchard, who is also the Southwest heavyweight champion and Gorgeous Gino Hernandez step into the ring to defend those tag team titles against Alberto Madril and Mr. Piledriver Bruiser Bob Sweetan.

This is going to be a very exciting match that could headline any arena in the country yet it’s right here on television.

(Casey walks off, grinning like the cat that ate the canary. Adonis is stumbling over his words as Pat Patterson chuckles, Brooks just has a blank look on his face)

What? Somebody? Who? What are you laughing at Patterson? You know who it is don’t you!?

(After Adonis composes himself a little)

It doesn’t matter who it is Casey because the result is gonna be the same, You’re going to lose to the Killer Brooks and the King of the Streets.

The Ninja Warrior vs Marty Jannetty

Jannetty was slow to move against the master of the martial arts. An attempt to lock up was met with a short jab to the throat by the Ninja. From there Jannetty had no chance against the man from Japan. Hard kicks to the chest left Jannetty red. Jannetty slammed into the turnbuckle. A whip to the corner reversed sends Ninja in hard. Jannetty charged leaping at the Ninja Warrior who side stepped and Jannetty hit face first in the turnbuckle sending him tumbling back to the mat.

With thrusts,kicks and chops, Jannetty was just pummeled into submission. Ninja nailed Jannetty with a double thrust to the throat that got the pinfall.

We are the best looking, best dressed, best tag team to ever walk God’s green earth so why are we having a match with Jaggers and Conway when everyone knows we should be wrestling the Duo for the tag titles?

I’ll tell you why, we’re not some muscle bound freaks who spend every minute of their life in the gym. We’re not some flavor of the month with bad hair cuts and rags wrapped around our legs. We are the Fabulous Blondes, we’re the team everyone is afraid of. Not because we are the biggest or the baddest, it’s because we are relentless. Kick us in gut, we’ll punch you in the nose, bust us open, we’ll break your leg and the whole time we’ll look good doing it.

The Fabulous Blondes vs Hangman Bobby Jaggers/Tiger Conway Jr.

Jaggers and Conway never seemed to get on the same page during the match and the Blondes took advantage of that. Embry worked over Conway’s leg with kicks to the hamstring. Timbs came in and continued with a spinning toe hold. Embry tagged in and dropped his full body weight across the leg. An Indian death lock had Conway in a bad way but he managed to get free. Favoring the leg, Conway hammered away at Embry. A backdrop had Embry down, Conway struggled to his corner, Jaggers came in with a few short jabs to Embry, then tagged Conway back in. Conway got back in, sent Embry to the ropes, nailed a dropkick. Conway was slow to get to his feet but got Embry,trying for a bodyslam the leg gave way and Embry got a 2 count. Conway rolled to his corner tagged Jaggers again. A couple half hearted punches and a bodyslam and Conway was tagged back in. Conway looked at Jaggers confused, Jaggers motioned for him to get in the ring, Conway again back in, Embry kicked the leg , Conway crumbled to the mat. Embry tagged in Timbs, an elbow drop by Timbs and a cover. Jaggers in pulls Timbs off. The ref reprimands Jaggers, Embry in and a double team suplex by the Blondes. Again a cover gets 2 with Jaggers making the save. Embry and Timbs try for a double team clothesline, Conway leaps and comes across both their arms causing them to collide. Conway hobbles over, tags in Jaggers jumps in the ring all fired up, fists ready to take out the Blondes, without warning he levels Conway as the Blondes sit on the mat stunned. Jaggers with a Hangman neckbreaker on Conway followed by a big Lariat. Conway is on the mat, Jaggers motions for the Blondes to cover him. Embry scrambles over and gets the 3 count. The Blondes get their hands raised as Jaggers stands on the floor watching. The fans are shocked and booing at Jaggers turn. Jaggers gets back in the ring as the Blondes cautiously back away. Jaggers pulls Conway up slaps him in the face a few times, then levels him with another lariat. Jaggers pulls Conway up who can barely stand and one final Hangman’s Neckbreaker. Jaggers walks away leaving Conway down. Al Perez, Terry Allen and Bob Sweetan come down to the ring to check on Conway.

And that’s what the Guerreros are, a greasy, nasty, bad burrito but these men are like a giant dose of Pepto and are gonna get rid of those two bad burritos in the Hemisfair.

Guerreros, in the Hemisfair there is going to be no holding us back, no reprieve, no mercy. You’re going down and staying down.

Continental Lover Eddie Mansfield vs Terry Allen

Mansfield had his barber shears and threatened to cut Allen’s hair when the match was over. Allen was steely eyed as he watch Mansfield rant to the camera about Manny Fernandez and how good he’s gonna look shaved like Mr.Clean.The match got under way, Mansfield went after Allen with forearm shots to the chest,a side headlock turned away from the ref allowed Mansfield to jab repeated thumbs to the throat that hat Allen gasping for breath. Mansfield off the ropes nails Allen with fist. To the top rope, Mansfield off with an elbow to the head sends Allen down.

(Manny Fernandez makes his way to ringside carrying that 15 foot leather strap smacking it against the bare floor which gets Mansfield’s attention)

Mansfield’s jaw drops to the mat as he turns his attention from Allen to Fernandez just feet away,the leather strap snapping against the hard floor of the Junction. Mansfield realizing he still has a match going on turns back around walking right into the waiting arms of Terry Allen who hits a Belly-To Belly Suplex,hooking the leg Allen gets the 3 count. Mansfield can’t believe he got pinned, kicking the ropes as Allen goes to the floor and referee Ken Farber and Manny Fernandez raise the young man’s hand.

Mansfield rips the turnbuckle apart, goes to the outside, grabs an empty ringside chair and bashes against the ring post. With Fernandez and Allen gone, Mansfield rants at Steve Stack.

I’m gonna take that strap and whip you like your daddy should of and teach you some manners and then haha, then(Mansfield pulls out his barber shears from a pouch)I’m gonna cut all that hair off of you, but that ain’t all.(Mansfield reaches into the bag and pulls out a disposable razor)Once I’m done cutting that hair off, I’m gonna shave that mustache off and turn the Raging Bull into a castrated steer! And that punk Terry Allen, once I’m done with Fernandez, I’ll open up a seat for your at the Continental Lover’s barber shop and do the same thing to you. You won’t have all these women screaming for you anymore when you don’t look like Magnum P.I,

(Mansfield stalks off still screaming and yelling at the crowd)

Well it should be quite the match in the Hemisfair when Eddie Mansfield has to stand across the ring from Manny Fernandez, a 15 foot leather strap between them. The loser of the match gets his head shaved.

This is a very violent match. You can use that leather strap to beat a man, tear his flesh from his body, you can tie a man up, wrap it around the throat, all sorts of nasty things.

Fans let’s head to the ring as our next match is about ready to get under way.

Cowboy Scott Casey vs Killer Brooks w/Adrian Adonis

Adrian Adonis accompanied Killer Tim Brooks to the ring. Brooks anxious to go after Casey jumped him before the bell landing big hammering shots

to the back and neck. Brooks backs Casey to the corner. Some stiff shots to the side of the head by Brooks as Adonis looks pleased at ringside.

Brooks whips Casey to the corner, Casey reverses, Brooks hits hard, Casey with a hip toss. A forearm to the head of Brooks backs him to the ropes. Casey sends Brooks to the ropes, buries a knee in the mid-section, Brooks doubled up, a knee lift by the Cowboy. Brooks rakes the eyes, slams Casey into the turnbuckle. Picks Casey up, shoulder breaker gets a 1 count. Brooks slams Casey to the mat, off the ropes with a leg drop across the throat gets 2. Adonis slaps the apron in frustration. Brooks goes to the second rope, jumps off with another leg drop. Casey rolls out of the way. Brooks lands hard on his rear end. Casey up, grabs Brooks, a flurry of punches backs Brooks to the ropes. Whip to the ropes, Casey nails Brooks in the chest with an elbow. Casey grabs Brooks in a side headlock, backs into the corner, comes out with a Bulldog. Adonis throws his hands up in the air. Casey rolls Brooks over for the cover, the ref counts 2 but Adonis comes in a drops an elbow across Casey’s back earning the disqualification for Brooks.

Adonis stomps all over Casey, Brooks and Adonis drop elbows on a prone Casey. Adonis picks Casey up in a front face lock looking for that devastating maneuver of his where he drops the man head first into the mat. From the locker room another wrestler hits the ring surprising Brooks and Adonis. Chops fly.

That’s Jay Youngblood in the ring!

Youngblood chops away at Adonis who falls through the ropes to the floor leaving Brooks to fend for himself. Casey up now grabs Brooks by the arms as Youngblood goes to the top rope, comes off nailing Brooks with a big chop to the top of the head. Brooks sprawls to the mat and is pulled out by Adonis.

Casey and Youngblood shake hands as the fans cheer.

I know who it is Stack! Quit trying to be cute! Casey you think you’re being smart now?

Well, you wanted to know who Casey’s partner was and you found out.

Shut up! No, no, no way this is happening!

(Adonis grabs Brooks and they leave)

Looks like you’ve found yourself a partner and Adonis is not very happy about it.

Scott Casey

You know Steve I gotta admit something. Truth is there’s a million guys who’d like to get their hands on Adonis but I called just one. I called Jay up in Charlotte and all I said was I need partner. He didn’t ask against who or anything else just asked when and where.

Jay Youngblood

I’ve know Scott a long time, he’s been a good friend, always there when I needed him, it was time for me to return the favor.

Scott Casey

This Cowboy and Indian are gonna send Adonis packing back to New York City!

Alberto Madril/Mr. Piledriver Bob Sweetan

All four men started brawling with each other, Madril and Hernandez exchanged blows, Sweetan had Blanchard back pedaling around the ring. Tully manged to draw Sweetan in, a swift kick to the mid-section gave Blanchard an opening and he went to work on Mr. Pilerdriver with hard fists to the head. Tough as nails Sweetan took the blows, then bulled Blanchard to the corner and rained down some heavy shots of his own. Blanchard staggered to his corner, arm out stretched to the Handsome Half-Breed who was hesitant to say the least tag in but Sweetan was there to help him, dragging him over the top rope and into the ring. Hernandez on his knees begging, a hard kick was Sweetan’s response. Dragged to the corner, Sweetan tagged in Madril, giving Gino a parting shot to the jaw before stepping out.

Madril with a snapmare into a rear chinlock on Hernandez. Up to his feet Hernandez with an elbow to weaken Madril’s grip. Thrown of to the ropes Madril hits a cross body block that gets 1. Madril grabs Hernandez up, Abdominal Stretch on Gino. Blanchard rushes in a clocks Madril to the back of the head bringing in Sweetan sending Blanchard to the safety of the floor. Gino lifts Madril up and drops him across the knee with a back breaker. Hernandez poses for the camera before kicking Madril in the chest. Hernandez lifts Madril up for a suplex and goes for a lazy cover getting 2. Hernandez argues with referee Ken Farber about a slow count. Hernandez turns back to Madril who throws a punch to the mid-section. Hernandez drives a knee to the temple, drags Madril to the corner and brings in Blanchard. Kicks, kicks and more kicks from Tully. A body slam has Madril down, Sweetan tries to rally his partner. Blanchard pulls down his knee pad down and drives the knee into Madril’s head. Blanchard then goads Sweetan taking a few swipes at him. Sweetan steps in but is immediately stopped by the ref. Blanchard drags Madril to the corner and he and Hernandez take advantage beating down Alberto. Hernandez takes over, drops an elbow, a cover gets 2. Hernandez whips Madril to the corner, Madril reveres, Hernandez hits hard. Madril with a dropkick sends Gino back into the corner again. Madril fires away with rights and lefts to the mid-section. A hip toss out of the corner by Madril. A whip to the ropes, Gino reverses, goes for a backdrop. Madril leaps over, sunset flip gets 2 . Hernandez wobbles to his corner tag in Blanchard. Madril scrambles for his corner and tags in Sweetan.

Blanchard and Sweetan with punch after punch to each other in the center of the ring. Sweetan getting the better of the exchange causes Blanchard to drive a knee to mid-section doubling up Sweetan. Tully looks for a pile driver. Sweetan back drops out of it. Blanchard into the corner, Sweetan follows with a clothesline dazing Tully. Sweetan using those big forearms of his pounds on Blanchard in the corner, Hernandez comes in and tries to save his partner. Sweetan gives Gino a beating, and tosses him through the ropes to the floor. Sweetan grabs a side headlock, Blanchard pushes him off right into referee Ken Farber. Farber is down on mat, Blanchard hammers away at Sweetan, Sweetan fires back, Blanchard is staggered again. Sweetan grabs Tully, looks for a pile driver, lifts Tully up, and down he goes. Sweetan covers, the ref still down. Hernandez in, kicks Sweetan in the back of the head. Madril charges in at Hernandez, momentum carries both over the top rope to the floor. Sweetan grabs Blanchard up for another pile driver. Hernandez rams Madril into the ring post sending him sprawling to the floor busted open. Hernandez grabs one of the title belts, rushes in the ring while Sweetan has Tully up and nails him in the back of the head with the belt. Sweetan lets Blanchard go and slumps to the mat. Tully grabs Sweetan up and with help from Gino they pile drive Sweetan. Referee Ken Farber comes around and sees the pin and counts 3 giving the Dynamic Duo the win and retain their tag team titles.

With Madril still down, the Dynamic Duo start to zero in on Sweetan, Blanchard perhaps looking to eliminate a future challenger to his title. Blanchard grabs Sweetan up for another pile driver, Hernandez goes to the second turnbuckle as they are about to attempt a stuff pile driver, Dick Slater hits the ring and nails Blanchard in the back of the head sending him to the mat. Hernandez tries to come off the buckle at Slater but gets nailed in the mid-section with a fist sending him to the mat. Blanchard is up and Slater fires away at him with punches, Hernandez tries to help but Sweetan is up and nails him with punches as well. Blanchard is sent tumbling to the floor and pulls Hernandez from the ring, Sweetan though dazed stands with Slater ready to dish out more to the Dynamic Duo as the ref checks on Alberto Madril.

<div style="text-align:center;">Ninja Warrior vs “Magnum” Terry Allen</div>The Ninja Warrior comes to the ring wielding nunchukus in an impressive display of the weapon.

Allen watches without flinching.

Ninja Warrior immediately went to his martial arts training to try and put a quick end to Allen’s hot winning streak. Karate chops to the neck and back, Allen fired back with forearms and punches of his own. Both men just seemed to shake off each others attack. Allen grabbed a side headlock, was thrown to the ropes, Ninja tried a round house kick that Allen ducked, Allen hit a dropkick, the Ninja popped back up and another stalemate. Ninja wanted a test of strength, Allen went to lock up but got poked in the eye instead. A thrust to the throat,a chop to the head, and a chop to the chest backed Allen to the corner. A whip was reversed sending the Ninja in, Allen nailed another dropkick which seemed to be a little more effective. Allen charged in with a clothesline, a bulldog followed up but only got 2. Allen tried whipping the Ninja Warrior to the ropes, it was reversed, Ninja tried for a backdrop, leap frog over by Allen, Ninja tries for a spinning heel kick, Allen ducks it, grabs Ninja up for the Belly-to-Belly Suplex and got the pinfall

Hector/Chavo Guerrero</div>Don Carson brought his masked men to the ring. They had some altercations with fans at ringside before stepping in to the ring. Jogging down to the ring came the Guerreros. The referee is Ken Farber who the Guerreros make a point of telling to check Grappler 1’s orthopedic boot. Farber checks Grappler 2, he checks Grappler 1 but when he comes close to the questionable boot, the Grappler pulls away. Don Carson tries to explain but referee Farber is adamant to check the boot or he will disqualify the Grapplers. Carson motions for Grappler 1 to let him check. The ref tells the Guerreros there is nothing there. A last minute conference between Dandy Don and his men before the match starts. Grappler 1 and Chavo start for their teams. Chavo chose to keep things basic and on the mat. Grappler 1 tried to gain an advantage by bending the rules but the ref was having none of that. Chavo and Grappler 1 exchanged arm twists in the center of the ring. An elbow took Guerrero down. Grappler 2 came in, missed an elbow drop. Guerrero went to the legs tagged in Hector. A springboard splash on to Grappler 2’s outstretched legs. Hector went with a faster paced, high flying style. Grappler 2 tried to match Guerrero move for move and surprisingly kept pace for at least a few seconds. Guerrero caught Grappler 2 with a cross body that got a 1. A quick pair of dropkicks had Grappler 2 scrambling for his corner. Grappler 1 came in and slowed Hector down with some kicks that backed him to the corner and pounded away. A snap mare and Grappler 1 worked over the leg. Quick tags and continuous punishment to the left leg kept Guerrero down. Carson did his part distracting the referee for his men to take advantage, also riling up fans at ringside. Hector got a second wind catching Grappler 1 with a crucifix rollup that got a quick 2. Guerrero rolled away from the Grappler’s attempted attack and tagged in Chavo who went after Grappler 1 with everything he had, forearm upper cuts had the masked man on rubber legs. Backed to the corner, Chavo fired away with chops. Grappler 1 raked the eyes, went to the turnbuckle and tried dropping an elbow but got a fist buried to the gut. Snap mare by Guerrero, a dropkick to the back of the head. Grappler 2 came in and got a dropkick to the jaw for his trouble. Chavo hit a belly to back suplex on Grappler 1 bridging for the pin but only got a 2 when Grappler 2 laid the boots to him.

Both Grapplers doubled teamed Chavo, whipping him to the ropes, a double clothesline Chavo ducked it and came off catching both masked men with a dropkick. Hector in, forearm uppercuts to Grappler 1, Chavo with chops to Grappler 2. The Guerreros send both masked men colliding into each other. Don Carson is a picture of frustration as his well oiled machine seems to have a monkey wrench in it.

Chavo grabs Grappler 2 up, Avalanche Suplex. Referee Juan Reynosa gets Hector out of the ring turns to count the pin, Grappler 1 with a boot to the back of Guerrero breaks it up. Hector runs back in dives at Grappler 1, both go tumbling over the top rope to the floor. Grappler 2 whips Chavo to the ropes, a clothesline misses, Guerrero with a jumping kick to the back of the head drops the masked man to the mat. Guerrero covers, Grappler 1 slides in the ring and puts the boots to Chavo breaking up the pin. Carson hops on the apron distracting the ref. Grappler 2 grabs Chavo by the arms as Grappler 1 taps the toe of that orthopedic boot. Grappler 1 charges and kicks at Guerrero, Guerrero breaks free, Grappler 2 takes the full force of the boot blast from Grappler 1. Chavo covers Grappler 2, Hector flies from the top rope hitting a stunned Grappler 1 with a missile dropkick sending him through the ropes and back to the floor. Referee Juan Reynosa turns and counts 3 giving the Guerreros the win.

<div style="text-align:center;">Carson can’t believe his Grapplers have lost, he jumps in the ring and pushes referee Juan Reynosa who is having none of it and pushes Carson back. Dandy Don looks around but his men are in no shape to help. Carson stunned cautiously backs out of the ring and hides behind his still weary and dazed team as the Guerreros get their hands raised.</div>

Gorgeous Gino Hernandez vs Alberto Madril

Madril sporting a new hair cut to compensate for the hack job of Eddie Mansfield a few weeks earlier waited for his opponenet the Handsome Half Breed. "Bad To the Bone"by George Throughgood played as the Gorgeous one made his way to the ring, his face, attitude and body language showing his utter disdain for the fans at the Hemisfair Arena many didn't care and still cheeered Hernandez.

Hernandez yelled "I am your hero! And you all know it!" Madril was not impressed by all of Gino's pre match antics. Referee Juan Reynosa demanded the match get under way. Hernandez was in rare form even for him on this night. Everytime Madril got some sort of advantage however minor, Hernandez would go to the ropes to break the hold never allowing Madril to get any sort of momentum. Constant cheap shots and shortcuts gave Hernandez the upper hand for the majority of the match.

Hernandez entered this match seemingly with something to prove going right after Madril a kick, a slam of the head to the turnbuckle, some punches and thrown out of the ring, Madril showing some resilience quickly climbing back in the ring but Hernndez was there to meet Madril and tossed him back to the floor again. Hernandez strutted around the ring proud his handiwork.

Madril was angry though and charged back in, Hernandez back pedalled around the ring, only a ploy to sucker Madril in, Hernandez caught Madril with another kick. Hernandez sent Madil into the corner,charged in, Madril side stepped and Hernandez went shoulder first into the ring post. Madril fired away with rights showing his boxing background from his days in the Golden Gloves. Hernandez was rocked by blow after blow from Madril. A big haymaker sent Hernandez to the ropes, wrapped up between the top and middle. Madril didn't hesitate to take advantage of the situation burying a boot into the Gorgeous one's mid-section. Freed from the ropes Madril sent Hernandez to the ropes, a big back drop sent Gino high in the air landing hard. Hernandez tried to escape from Madril but was caught by the back the trunks and pulled back to the center of the ring. Atomic drop sends Hernandez to the corner Madril follows up with a quick jab, a whip sends Hernandez to the opposite corner. Madril listening to the

cheers moves in another whip back to the opposite corner. Gino slumps a little, Madril charges in, Hernandez side steps Madril who hits the corner hard, Hernandez rolls Madrill up using a handful of tights and gets the 3 count. Hernandez rolls out of the ring raising his hands in victory as Madril argues about the use of the trunks.

Raging Bull Manny Fernandez vs Continental Lover Eddie Mansfield

Fernandez came to the ring carrying the 15 foot leather strap. Mansfield came out smug and self assured, that attitude quickly disappeared once he got a look at the leather strap that he would have around his wrist. It didn’t help matters that Fernandez in a bit of psychological warfare snapped the

strap against the mat repeatedly that seemed to freak Mansfield out. After much stalling, Mansfield finally, slowly,hesitantly entered the ring. Referee Ken Farber held a bag up for the crowd to see, then pulled the contents from the bag, a large pair of scissors, a pair of electric clippers and a disposable razor. Mansfield points at the razor and points at Fernandez’s mustache yelling “that’s especially for you!”. The bag was set at ringside next to a chair that waited for the loser.

Fernandez slid the strap on to his wrist. The ref brought the other end to Mansfield who couldn’t bring himself to slide the strap on until the ref threatened to give the match to Fernandez. Barely getting the strap around his wrist, Fernandez with a hard tug. Mansfield took the strap off and threw it to the ground and exiting the ring. The ref demanded the Continental Lover get back in the ring and get the match underway, Mansfield shook his head no. The ref pointed at the chair and barber tools, Mansfield paused, ran his hand through his bleached hair, looked at Fernandez, turned his back, folded his arms and refused to get back in the ring.

Enough was enough, Fernandez went out to the floor and grabbed Mansfield,dragging him back into the ring. Fernandez stomped on Mansfield enough to slide the strap of Mansfield’s wrist. The ref called for the bell. Fernandez grabbed some of the excess trap and began whipping Mansfield across the back repeatedly, Mansfield’s arched back, pain across his face, yelps with each snap of the leather across his skin. Mansfield crawled to the corner trying to get some relief from the pain. Fernandez was relentless though,wrapping the strap around his fist and pounding away at Mansfield’s head. A snap mare by Fernandez, he then wrapped the strap around Mansfield’s throat, planted a foot in the lower back and pulled choking Mansfield.

Mansfield fought with all he had to get to his feet, elbows to Fernandez mid-section backed him to a corner. Mansfield with a mule kick doubled up Fernandez. Now Mansfield used the strap to choke the Raging Bull. Wrapping the strap around Fernandez’s neck Mansfield sent him to the opposite corner,yanked on the strap, snapping Fernandez to the mat. Mansfield went to the second turnbuckle, wrapped some of the strap around his fist and come off with flying fist drop to the head. Mansfield laughed with some maniacal glee as he pulled Fernandez up to his knees, blood starting to trickle down his face. Mansfield took the strap and rubbed the raw leather across the wound opening it up even more. Wrapping it around Fernandez’s eyes, Mansfield sat on Fernandez’s back and pulled on the strap for all he’s worth. inflicting as much punishment as he can. Fernandez down on the mat, Mansfield doubled up the strap and whipped the Raging Bull, each crack against the skin had Mansfield cackling.

Mansfield took the excess strap and wrapped Fernandez's hands up. The Continental Lover dragged the Raging Bull to one corner and slapped the turnbuckle, on to the second turnbuckle and a slap, but that was all Mansfield was going to get. Fernandez hooked his feet around the bottom rope to stop Mansfield’s progress. Stomps to Fernandez’s head as his face is covered in more and more of his own blood. Mansfield slams Fernandez to the mat. Up to the top rope goes Mansfield he looks around at the crowd at the Hemisfair.

This hesitation gave Fernandez an opening. He yanked with whatever strength he had left bringing Mansfield tumbling down to the mat. Fernandez got to his feet, wiped the blood from his face. A whip to the ropes,Fernandez clothesline’s Mansfield with the strap. Fernandez measures and drops a fist on Mansfield’s head. Mansfield tries to escape Fernandez’s fury only to get the strap yanked between his legs by the Raging Bull. Mansfield leans over the top rope, Fernandez grabs Mansfield whips him to the ropes, flying forearm. Fernandez wraps the strap around his fist again and pummels Mansfield into a blood pulp, his blonde hair sopped with crimson. Fernandez off the ropes with a chop to the bloody mane of Mansfield. Mansfield fired a few desperate shots at the head of the Raging Bull, whipped him to the ropes, Mansfield misses a clothesline, Fernandez clamps on a sleeper hold.

With little fight left, Mansfield drops to one knee, then the other. The ref checks Mansfield lifting the arm once, twice and finally a third time. Mansfield is out. Fernandez drained himself from the match summons what he has left and drags the un-moving Continental Lover to one corner and slaps the turnbuckle, the second corner, slaps the turnbuckle, the third turnbuckle and finally to the forth and slaps it. Winner of the strap match Raging Bull Manny Fernandez.

Fernandez slumps in the corner as Mansfield lays on the mat. Referee Ken Farber removes the strap from Fernandez’s wrist and then from Mansfield’s. The ringside chair is brought in the ring as is the bag containing the hair cutting tools. Fernandez lifts a still unconscious Eddie Mansfield into the chair with some help. Fernandez still caked in his own blood takes the large scissors and cuts away at the blood soaked hair throwing it the air.Fernandez then demanded the electric clippers and asked the ref to hold Mansfield’s head up began shaving what was left of the Continental Lover’s hair.After a minute or so, Mansfield was as bald as a cue ball.Fernandez then “woke” Mansfield who still woozy looked around the ring at all the hair laying about.

Realizing what has happened Mansfield demanded the ref get mirror.Mansfield saw his new look and screamed scrambling to find something to cover his head. With no towels available he ripped the shirt right off of referee Ken Farber, covered his head and ran from the ring hearing only the laughs of the crowd. Fernandez stood in the ring exhausted, bloody but feeling a sense of satisfaction gets cheers from the fans before finally heading to the back with help from the ref.

Jay Youngblood/Cowboy Scott Casey

Brooks and Casey started out for their respective teams. Casey took Brooks down to the mat and worked to keep him there. Quick tags between Youngblood and Casey kept Brooks on the defensive. Youngblood hit some chops to the chest that backed Brooks to the ropes. A hip toss, a body slam and another chop to the chest had Brooks rolling to the floor. Adonis dropped down to give some advice. Brooks rolled back in, rake of the eyes of Youngblood.

Brooks worked over Youngblood’s arm draping it over the top rope and pulling on it. Adonis came in and continued to work over Youngblood’s arm with a hammer lock. Brooks back in stomped the shoulder of Youngblood. A bodyslam by Brooks, Adonis in now heads to the second rope and comes off with an elbow. Youngblood rolls away and Adonis hits the mat. Casey tags in.

Casey grabs Adonis buries a fist tot he mid-section. A suplex by Casey. Off the ropes with a lariat takes Adonis down. A cover get 1 only. Casey tags in Youngblood who goes to the second rope and hits another tomahawk chop to the head of Adonis. Youngblood whipped Adonis to the corner and a barrage of chops to the head and chest.

A snapmare and standing leg drop by Youngblood gets a 2 count. Adonis with some back handed shots of his own. slams Youngblood’s head into Killer Brooks waiting knee. Brooks in, headbutt dazes Youngblood. Brooks lifts Youngblood up, rams him into the corner, dumps him to the mat. Brooks winds up the arm and drops it across the throat. Adonis back in, grabs Youngblood in a front face lock, drops Youngblood head first into the mat. Adonis rolls Youngblood over for a cover, Casey breaks it up at 2 ½. Adonis picks Youngblood up again in a front face lock, Youngblood fights back with fists to the ribs, Adonis is backed to a corner. Youngblood with another flurry of chops to the chest, a double chop to the sides of the neck. Youngblood whips Adonis to the ropes, dropkick, Brooks in, dropkick for Brooks, another for Adonis and another for Brooks. Youngblood grabs Adonis, a huge tomahawk chop to the nose.

Tag to Casey, running lariat to Adonis, running lariat to Brooks sends him over the top rope to the floor, Adonis comes from behind trying to smash Casey in the back. Casey buries a fist in the mid section. A hard whip to the corner, Casey grabs Adonis, Bulldog, Casey covers, ref counts 2, Brooks in to break it up, Youngblood in, more chops to Brooks causing him to fall through the ropes to the floor. Casey with a power slam. Meanwhile the referee gets Youngblood out of the ring while Casey covers. Brooks rolls in the ring pulls off his boot and nails Casey in the back of the head. Brooks quickly rolls out of the ring,slips his boot back on while Adonis rolls over and covers Casey to get the pinfall. Winners King of the Streets Adrian Adonis and Killer Brooks

Main Event for the Southwest Heavyweight Title

Tully Blanchard the spoiled brat of wrestling, Dick Slater one of the toughest, take no prisoners son of a guns in all of wrestling.On the line the Southwest Heavyweight title Blanchard being the arrogant person he is got in Slater’s face before the match telling him all the things that were going to happen to him punctuating each threat with a poke of the finger to Slater’s chest.
