So it's January 1992. Tod Gordon has decided he wants to try his hand in the wrestling business after growing deluded with what the industry is offering. Eastern Championship Wrestling is born a small company running monthly shows offering wrestling fans something different. Gordon brings in a young bright minded man by the name of Paul Heyman. Together they plan to change the wrestling industry.

So my plan is to book my own style of ECW from the beginning. I am using Rising Storms 1991 mod. I just advance a year to 1992. Let's hope i can make this last and keep my interest and that you all enjoy it.

Eastern Championship Wrestling - Market Street Mayhem

Opening the Home Video Release was the owner of the company Tod Gordon. Gordon talked a little about the wrestling industry and why he decided to open Eastern Championship Wrestling. The main reason seems to be how wrestling lacks realism and neglects the 18 to 30 audience. Gordon is soon cut off by a Philly star known as The Sandman. Sandman talks about how he doesn't give a shit why Gordon opened up ECW all he wants is to beat the shit out of some people and get paid doing it. Sandman is then cut off by Cactus Jack who gets a good ovation from the 550 fans in attendance. Cactus Jack tells The Sandman that ECW id the future and that Sandman needs to get on board or get out of the company. Cactus Jack is then cut off by DC Drake another philly star. DC Drake questions who Cactus Jack even is and goes on to call him Cactus Kack!. Just as the three men look like they are going to exchange blows a legend appears! Terry Gordy is at the first ever ECW show! Gordy says he has come to leave his mark on Eastern Championship Wrestling and challenges all three men to a four way match later tonight. Tod Gordon makes the match.

It's time for ECW'S First ever match. 'Stunning' Steve Austin Vs. Rockin' Rebel Vs. Samurai Warrior. Austin is the standout in this match as he just looks and works much better then Rebel & Warrior. The match sees all three men get the share of the offence but it's mis timed & sloppy in places. Steve Austin picks up the win after hitting Rebel with a Stun Gun.

Next up is a pre taped interview with Shane Douglas. Douglas is standing in front of the Eastern Championship Wrestling logo talking up himself and how it's good to come to a place where wrestling is not a cartoon show. Douglas then talks about facing The Tazmaniac and how he will beat him.

Second Match of the night is Shane Douglas Vs. The Tazmaniac. For a company that don't want cartoon characters, The Tazmaniac is a weird choice to have on there show. The match itself was solid with both men showcasing what they could do despite been new to the business. Tazmaniac showed his wild side when he hit Douglas with a sick looking Belly To Belly Suplex at ringside. Douglas would come back and finally defeat The Tazmaniac with a Northern Lights Suplex for the win.

Pre Match and the new tag team of Tommy Dreamer & Joey Maggs known as Youthful Aggression are heading to the ring. They are then attacked by Tommy Cairo & Maxx Payne. Cairo & Payne beat the hell out of Dreamer & Maggs before the match starts.

Match Three of the night is Youthful Aggression Vs. Tommy Cairo & Maxx Payne. A pretty standard tag team match. Cairo & Payne beat down Maggs stopping him from making the tag until finally the hot tag came and Dreamer laid his opponents out. The fans didn't seem to impressed with Youthful Aggression, maybe they are to babyface for there liking. Never the less it was Dreamer that got his team the win after taking Cairo out with a DDT for the win.

Another pre taped angle that sees Cactus Jack talking about how ECW is the place to be. Cactus Jack then turns his attention to The Sandman telling him he will give him a beating.

Fourth Match of the night is The Cheetah Kid Vs. Ian Rotten. This match was more hard hitting as both men used stiff strikes & punches to take each other out. Both men brawled ringside using the guard rails as weapons. Cheetah kid got the win after hitting Rotten with a Senton from the middle rope for the win.

Another pre taped video showing the fans queing outside the buildling. Then The Sandman is seen provoking them and mocking them before Tod Gordon usher him away.

Match Five is JT Smith Vs. Brooklyn Brawler. Brawler was making his first appearance since leaving the WWF. He took to beating JT Smith while shouting 'Why Vince Why' guessing a play off him getting fired by Vince McMahon. Smith made the comeback and saw off Brawler with a Quick roll up for the shock win.

It's Main Event time. Cactus Jack Vs. DC Drake Vs. Terry Gordy Vs. The Sandman. This was by far the best match of the night as expected. It was a wild brawl from the start as all four men beat the hell out of each other with whatever weapons they could get there hands on. Cactus Jack & Sandman brawled into the crowd leaving Terry Gordy to nearly take off DC Drake's head with a sickening Lariat. Gordy picked up the win.

Post match and a wild brawl erupts as Cactus Jack & The Sandman brawl around the arena until the video fades to black.

Final Thoughts: A good first show for Eastern Championship Wrestling as they look to find there footing and get some of there wrestlers over.

Eastern Championship Wrestling - Feburary Fight Night - Philadelphia

Gordon talks about how The Tazmaniac has decided to no show tonight so he has had to find a replacement. Paul Roma will be making his ECW debut tonight. The Sandman shows up and tells Tod Gordon he wants a rematch after getting screwed over at the last show. Gordon refuses which brings out Cactus Jack. Jack tells Gordon to team him up with Terry Gordy and let them take on The Sandman and DC Drake. Gordon accepts the offer and makes the match.

ECW Singles Match

JT Smith defeated Ian Rotten by pinfall with a Moonsault.(48)

Smith was over with the fans on the night. Ian Rotten however didn't seem to be very liked and was booed heavily throughout the match.

Post Match and JT Smith is celebrating when Brooklyn Brawler hits the ring and begisn to beat down JT Smith. Ian Rotten stops Brawler before they both start to lay the boots on JT Smith.

ECW Four Way Match

Shane Douglas defeated Glen Osbourne, Samurai Warrior and Steve Austin when Shane Douglas defeated Glen Osbourne by pinfall with The Pittsburgh Plunge.(46)

Glen Osbourne debuted his new Extremist gimmick it well over well with the fans. The fans didn't seem happy with seeing Samurai Warrior.

Backstage we see Cactus Jack talking with Terry Gordy. Cactus Jack talks about how he has nothing but respect for Gordy but tonight he better be on the same page as him. Gordy tells Jack not to worry.

ECW Tag Team Match

The Fabulous Ones defeated Youthful Aggression when Steve Keirn defeated Joey Maggs by pinfall with a Gatorbreaker.(52)

The Fabulous Ones were making there ECW debuts and went over pretty well with the fans. Youthful Aggression still seem to be stuggling to get the fans behind them.

Post Match and out come Tommy Cairo & Maxx Payne. They go to attack Youthful Aggression but Dreamer & Maggs turn the tide and send Cairo & Payne into retreat.

ECW Singles Match

Paul Roma defeated The Cheetah Kid by pinfall with a Missile Dropkick.(62)

Good solid match. Paul Roma went over well with the fans. Cheetah Boy seems to be a fan favourite.

Backstage we see DC Drake getting ready. Sandman walks past him, Drake stops Sandman and tells him to wait up he will come to the ring with him. Sandman looks at him and askes who he is. Drake tells him he is his partner tonight. Sandman laughs and walks away.

ECW Main Event

DC Drake and The Sandman defeated Cactus Jack and Terry Gordy when The Sandman defeated Cactus Jack by pinfall with a White Russian Legsweep.(67)

A really good match with Sandman standing out. The crowd really don't like seeing DC Drake in the main event or ECW for that matter.

The home release ends with The Sandman and DC Drake getting there hands raised. Sandman then takes out DC Drake before leaving shouting he is ECW.

Final Thoughts: Another solid show with the ECW faithful coming out to show there support. ECW continues to impress.

ECW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION QUITS FOR CAREER IN JAPAN

That's right Terry Gordy the first ever ECW World Heavyweight Champion handed in his noticed and vacated his Championship. Gordy has decided to go full time in Japan with All Japan Pro Wrestling.

WHAT IS NEXT FOR THE ECW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP?

Tod Gordon is left without a champion but announced at the next show there will be a Triple Threat Match to crown the new ECW Heavyweight Champion. Cactus Jack, Kevin Sullivan & The Sandman will battle for the Championship.

ECW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS TO DEFEND AT THE NEXT SHOW

The ECW tag team champions The Fablous One's will be putting the belts on the line against rivals The Pitbulls.

This is really a toss up here. Sandman was one of my favorite, original ECW members. But, I won't be mad if Kevin or Cactus win.

ECW Tag Team Championship Match

Loving how you're booking the tag divison. I don't see the Fablous ones losing their titles, so quickly after winning them.

NWA World Women's Championship Match

Bull Nakano Vs. Luna Vachon

Paul Roma Vs. Shane Douglas

I don't see Douglas losing now, after becoming the #1 Contender for the World Title

Al Snow Vs. Steve Austin

Eastern Championship Wrestling - Fallout - July 1992

<div style="text-align:center;"><table style="border: 4px solid black; padding: 15px;" height="56" width="750"><tbody><tr><td>The Home release starts with ECW owner Tod Gordon standing in the ring with the ECW Heavyweight Championship belt over his shoulder. Gordon talks about how Terry Gordy has left ECW to go full time in Japan. Gordon tells Gordy there is no anger and bitterness towards him and that everyone at ECW wishes him the best. Gordon then talks about needing to crown a new ECW Heavyweight Champion so tonight Cactus Jack, Kevin Sullivan & The Sandman will do battle for the right to become the new ECW Heavyweight Champion. Suddenly Shane Douglas shows up. Douglas is clearly pissed and calls Gordon a liar. Douglas talks about how Gordon said this was a company where everyone gets a fair shot yet he keeps getting screwed over by Gordon. Douglas tells Gordon he should do what is right and hand him the ECW Heavyweight belt. The Sandman shows up and calls Douglas a moaning sack of shit and the reason he is not champion is because he is not good enough. Douglas and Sandman get in each others faces, Gordon attempts to spilt them but in the melee Shane Douglas hits Gordon with a wild punch laying him out. Event staff rush the ring to break the melee up and get Douglas out the ring. Gordon gets the microphone and tells Douglas he is no longer the No. 1 Contender anymore. Douglas is clearly angry as event staff drag him backstage.

ECW Singles Match (NWA World Women's Championship)

In a decent match, Luna Vachon defeated Bull Nakano in 7:49 by pinfall with a Luna Eclipse. Luna Vachon wins the NWA World Women's title.(51)

ECW Tag Team Champions The Fablous One's cut a promo on opponents The Pitbulls. They talk about how they will never lose the belts.

ECW Tag Team Match (ECW Tag Team Championships)

In a decent match, The Fabulous Ones defeated The Pitbulls in 13:22 when Stan Lane defeated Pitbull #2 by pinfall with a Savate Kick. The Fabulous Ones make defence number 1 of their ECW Tag Team titles.(57)

Post match Stan Lane & Steve Kerin decide to sneak attack The Pitbulls until Youthful Aggression show up to send them running.

Cactus Jack cuts a promo on becoming the ECW Heavyweight Champion before ripping into Sullivan & Sandman.

ECW Singles Match

In a decent match, Steve Austin defeated Al Snow in 8:24 by pinfall with a Stun Gun.(54)

The Sandman is up next to cut a promo about becoming the new ECW Heavyweight Champion. He also rips into Cactus Jack & Kevin Sullivan.

Tod Gordon is in his 'office' when Shane Douglas shows up. A heated argument ensures about Douglas losing his No. 1 COntenders spot. Paul Roma shows up and tells Douglas he wasn't good enough to be a champion. Douglas pissed challenges Roma to a match. Roma accepts.

ECW Singles Match

In a bout that had great heat and decent wrestling, Shane Douglas defeated Paul Roma in 13:27 by pinfall with a handful of tights.(51)

Post match and Douglas gets on the mic and rips into Tod Gordon & ECW. Douglas says he will get his shot at the ECW Heavyweight Championship one way or another.

Kevin Sullivan cuts a promo about becoming ECW Heavyweight Champion. Sullivan says he will take over the ECW.

ECW Main Event (ECW Heavyweight Championship)

In a bout that had fantastic heat and great wrestling, The Sandman defeated Cactus Jack and Kevin Sullivan in 18:23 when The Sandman defeated Cactus Jack by pinfall with a White Russian Legsweep. The Sandman wins the ECW Heavyweight title.(60)

Post match and Sandman is celebrating his win. Suddenly from behind Douglas takes out Sandman with a sickening steel chair shot leaving The Sandman laid out on the floor. Douglas stands over Sandman as the show ends.

The Sandman This is really a toss up here. Sandman was one of my favorite, original ECW members. But, I won't be mad if Kevin or Cactus win. ECW Tag Team Championship Match The Fablous One's (C) Vs. The Pitbulls Loving how you're booking the tag divison. I don't see the Fablous ones losing their titles, so quickly after winning them. NWA World Women's Championship Match Bull Nakano Vs. Luna Vachon Paul Roma Vs. Shane Douglas I don't see Douglas losing now, after becoming the #1 Contender for the World Title Al Snow Vs. Steve Austin Keep building up Steve. It's not a bad idea.</pre><div></div> You spot on with predictions. Sandman my choice simply he will be sticking around. Sullivan (loaned from WCW) & Cactus Jack have other commiments bigger then ECW. Also have big plans for Steve Austin (still figuring out how to set him up for the push)
