The Road To the Empire

The Story

2016 was a big year for the WWE. the company was once again split into brands Raw, Smackdown NXT and 205 Live. The Cruiserweights made there return to WWE Television on RAW and very very own show 205 Live.

We are wrestlers Like AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson come onto WWE tv. Finn Balor Became the first Universal Champion.

But Vince McMahon was still not happy with the product. He was down on 205 live, wants a 50 year old as Universal Champion and hates the fact that the fans will not accept Roman Reigns as the face of the company.

After the latest Monday Night Raw Vince McMahon was rumored to have a big blowout with the creative team and called an emergency meeting for the following morning.

The meeting involved the WWE Creative and the board Of Directors and was all about what they are going to do to get a better product.

Here is the main Notes of what they all agreed.

The Creative team requested that Paul Levesque is given the chance to oversee them like he does with NXT. Vince Agreed to give him 6 months.
Monday Night raw will go back to 2 Hours Live.
The Cruiserweights will no longer be part of raw. They will be Exclusive to 205 Live.
PPV's will be cut back giving story lines chance to develop.
Roman Reigns will turn heel sometime in 2017

Smackdown Started off with all participants of the elimination Chamber match in the ring all proclaiming they will win on Sunday.

Daniel Bryan comes out and books John Cena vs Randy Orton in the main event and Baron Corbin vs Dean Ambrose which will be next.

Baron Corbin Defeated Dean Ambrose in a hard hitting match after interference from The Miz. Hitting the End Of Days for the pinfall

After the break Dean Ambrose storms into Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon seeking revenge on the Miz, Bryan Then Books The Miz against Bray Wyatt for later on.

Becky Lynch defeated Mickie James via DQ when Alexa Bliss got involved and both women took out the former Smackdown Women's Champion.

Backstage Apollo Crews cuts a promo on how he aims to beat Dolph Ziggler later tonight.

Team team action next as we had Heath Slater and Rhyno beat the Vaudevillains When Ryhno hit the gore in Simon Gotch for the 3 count.

A music Video showing the recent events of Dolph Ziggler airs. He is done showing Off!!!

after the break Apollo Crews got a big win over Dolph Ziggler. after the match Apollo got jumped by Zigger in a fit of rage.

Bray Wyatt Defeated The Miz via pinfall after a sister Abigail.

We have a music Vidoe of the history between Randy Orton and John Cena which leads us to the main event.

John Cena vs Randy Orton ended in a no contest after 14 minutes when AJ Styles, The Miz, Baron Corbin, Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt started to brawl to end the show.

Randy Orton Defeated Luke Harper after hitting an RKO for the pinfall. after the match Bray Wyatt Hits Luke Harper with the Sister Abigail.

We cut backstage to were Nikki Bella is getting ready for her match. Maryse Enters to scene and tells Nikki she is past it before Nikki tells Marye to stop hiding behind The Miz.

We are informed that after an altercation between The uso's and Slater and Rhyno both teams have been removed from the tag Title match.

American Alpha Retained their tag team Championships over Breezango, The Ascension and The Vaudevillains.

We then have a Promo Video airs, Several Voices that are blurred talk about how they were overlooked for years, soon they will make their mark like never before in the WWE.

Natalya defeated Nikki Bella Via Pin fall after Maryse came down and distracted Nikki Bella.

Dolph Ziggler cuts a promo before he match, he says that Apollos win was a fluke and he will prove that tonight.

Dolph Zigger Defeated Apollo Crews Via Pin fall when Ziggler Hit a low blow on Apollo and the the Zig Zag for the win.

Before the main Event AJ Styles is backstage and hyping that he is going to reclaim his title tonight.

In the Main Event Bray Wyatt became the new WWE Champion, Pinning John Cena for his 1st Title reign.

Order of Eliminations was The Miz, Ambrose, Corbin, Styles then Cena.

Backstage Best Friends Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho are bragging about they are the best, Foley enters and books them in Title matches tonight.

Chris Jericho Defeated Curtis Axel with the US Title on the line with the codebreaker.

Backstage Bayley Approaching Sasha Banks Regarding Charlotte and Nia Jax's Challenge. Sasha Tells Baylay not to worry because at Fast Lane, She will be ready!!

Charlotte Flair defeated Alicia Fox by submission with a Figure 8 Leg Lock.

Sami Zayn defeated Kevin Owens when Kevin Owens intentionally got disqualified.

Chris Jericho attacks Kevin Owens in the ring, and leaves him down and out.

Sheamus and Cesaro come out and demand that the 4 men who took them out show up. 4 men in the same Vince McMahon masks walk down the ramp, as they get towards the ring the original 4 men attack Sheamus and Cesaro from behind.

One of them gets a mic and Says they are the hottest free agents in Wrestling and have been given a free pass from someone to make a name for themselves.

Rusev defeated Darren Young by pinfall with a BulPlex.

Rusev cuts a promo after the match saying at wrestlemainia he will make a name for himself.

After the break Roman Reigns Comes out and talks about his upcoming match with The Undertaker in 2 weeks then Braun Strowman comes down and says he is still not finished with Reigns. Next week they will battle one last time in Last man Standing.

Finn Bálor and Seth Rollins defeated Gallows & Anderson when Finn Bálor defeated Karl Anderson by submission with a Fujiwara Armbar.

Triple H and Joe attack Finn Bálor and Rollins backstage, and leave them down and out.

Shane McMahon is backstage, with Naomi, Becky Lynch, Natalya and Mickie James all trying to talk him into giving them a title shot. He finally decides that he's heard enough, and that as they can't all have a title shot, they'll face each other in a four way match to win the right to a title shot.

Gallows & Anderson defeated Enzo & Cass when Karl Anderson defeated Big Cass by pinfall with a Magic Killer. Gallows and Anderson retain the Raw Tag Team Titles.

Up Next was the the US Slobber Knocker. Basic to keep his title Sami would have to defend the title in four matches.

Rollins is in ths ring talking about his win over the game Triple H Last night. he is then joined by Samoe Joe and Kevin Owen's and then Finn Balor. they all agree to tag match later on.

A music video is shown to promote the group of Drew Mcintyre, Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes. The Empire has arrived and are doing things their way!!!

Drew Mcintyre defeated Sami Zayn by pinfall with a Future Shock.

The announcers put over the fact that we'll be seeing Sasha Banks make an appearance later on regarding what happened at Wrestlemainia.

New Day defeated The Shining Stars when Big E defeated Primo by pinfall with a Midnight Hour,.

Sasha Banks comes off to huge boo's from the crowed. She said at Wrestlemainia she showed hat there are no friends in wrestling. It's alll about the spotlight and the Raw Women's Championship. Bayley has her title and Spotlight and she wants it back. No More nice Sasha....The Boss is coming Back!!!

Bayley's music hits and as the Champ makes her way in the ring Sasha leaves.

Curtis Axel defeated Rusev 9:43 by pinfall with a Perfect-Plex in the shock of the night

The match is over, and Curtis Axel is celebrating. Rusev looks angry, and jumps him from behind, beating him down.

Charlotte Flair defeated Alicia Fox by submission with a Figure 8 Leg Lock.

Mr. McMahon comes out and then Stephanie McMahon. Mr. McMahon says he has two announcements, the first is that next week on RAW will be the first Superstar Shake up.

It will see superstars move shows. On Raw will will find out who will go to Smackdown and On Tuesday we will see who will be going to Raw!!

He then spoke about how Stephanie McMahon treated her former GM Mick Foley and said that he has found her a new GM who will be here next week and she wont be able to treat him that way. His name?

Kurt Angle!!!!
