to4sty
It was another good show but I have to say I was disappointed with the quality of the main event, although with the people involved I'm not sure why I was surprised. Nash has been on fire recently, and is head and shoulders the number one heel in the company......in fact he's arguably the number one guy in the company at the minute, which (considering the sorry state he was in when I started around here) I'm rather pleased with....despite all that though, he and Sid weren't exactly known for putting on stellar matches together. It was a means to an end though and helped move the story along. The question now is to where the story is moving to. I've got two distinct paths to move down in my head, one involves Mr Nash remaining with the company, the other is a contingency for should he chose to move to the competition.....and that is looking a distinct possibility, because WCW have now entered bids of their own for both Razor and Nash....high money contracts that if I match, would make these two pains in my ass, the highest paid performers here in the World Wrestling Federation, which is bound to rustle a few feathers....for now though it's hit and miss what's going to happen. One thing that didn't disappoint from Monday Night, was the performance of one Rowdy Roddy Piper. He hadn't been seen in TV for quite sometime, but when the spotlight is on him there's arguably no better talker in the business and he really delivered tonight....you can expect to see a resurgence of Pipers Pit off the back of that performance some time in the near future.....maybe even this week on Raw. Speaking of which....... Preview for Monday Night Raw, Week 2, March 1996 WWF Title (Open Challenge Match) Bret Hart © vs. ??? The Undertaker vs Tatanka #1 Contenders match for the WWF Light Heavyweight Title Hakushi vs Avatar vs Chavo Guerrero Phatu vs Jeff Jarrett The Steiner Brothers vs The Harris Boys Savio Vega vs Kama
