That and the fact that I work 14 hour days and have three kids and a Mrs at home, so generally all my shows are written in the notepad on my phone at work, because when I'm home the last thing I want to be doing is sitting on the computer....the kids want to play with Daddy lol....so yeah....I'll plot a show out but by the time I write it there will generally be some changes.....which is why when I say the show had to be re-written....Goldusts injury for example.....the show actually had to be re-written lol. It works for me, plus thats where a lot of ideas come from, it's where Al Snows talking to Avatar gimmick came from for example, if I'd booked the show first it probably wouldn't have occurred to me.</p>

Michaels and The 123 Kid are wearing their respective Championship belts over their shoulders, while Hall and Nash take turns polishing the gold mockingly as the group enter the ring. Michaels pics up a mic, saying that there's KLiQ business to attend to tonight....but first of all he would just like to say...."that it's good, to be the King" as he raises the WWF Title high in the air to a chorus of boo's. He goes on to tell Jerry Lawler that "the old man put on a hell of a fight....wait....no actually he didn't....he just bled a hell of a lot hahaha." But enough about him, it's time for more important things, as tonight, the KLiQ officially welcomes its newest member....."and I say officially, because this guy has been KLiQ 4 Life.....since before any of you morons had even heard the term KLiQ.....Ladies and Gentlemen, I give to you, my good friend....your good friend.........but maybe not Chris Jericho's good friend......the WWF Light Heavyweight Champion.....The 123 K.........."</p><p> </p><p> Before HBK can finish Nash puts his hand over the mic and whispers in his ear. Shawn looks at his big buddy for a moment before raising his eyebrows at the Kid, mouthing "really?" To which The Kid nods his head.</p><p> </p><p> "Ladies and Gentlemen, I give to you.....the WWF Light Heavyweight Champion.....the Kid who last night stepped up and became the Man.....I give to you.......Sean Waltman."</p><p> </p><p> The other four men applaud as Waltman takes the mic from the WWF Champion. He says that it's nice to finally get some recognition around here.....and more importantly some respect....he says he's "sick and tired of always being thought of as the little guy.....the underdog........the Kid! I'm more of a man than any of you losers in the crowd, with your fat girlfriends and dead end jobs will ever be.....I'm a superstar for god sake....I'm the MAN your children will look up to.....and I'm a hell of a role model.....because when I want something (he pats the gold belt draped over his shoulder) I go and get it.....and more importantly, I make sure I keep it......hey Chris Jericho, how do you like that no rematch clause now? I'm Sean Waltman......I'm the WWF Light Heavyweight Champion......and if you don't like it......you can suck it."</p><p> </p><p> Vince McMahon fumbles over his words to quickly apologise on commentary, saying that we at the WWF certainly don't condone that kind of language.....but he's interrupted by Nash before he can finish, he tells the crowd not to worry, there's more, they're the KLiQ that keeps on giving....because just like the ladies know, Big Sexy can go on all night. He calls Aldo Montoya over and tells the youngster that when he first came to them and asked to join the KLiQ, Nash thought he was crazy......"this little guy that I jackknifed through a table, must have rattled his brains like Al Snow.....but you proved me wrong kid.....you're not just some scrawny little dweeb.....you're not just someone's whipping boy.....in fact, when you came flying off that top rope a few weeks back, smashing that freak Snow through that table......hell, that was just incredible."</p><p> </p><p> Scott Hall pulls out a black and white KLiQ shirt from behind his back before taking the mic from Nash, telling the youngster that "last night Chico, I told you to earn your colours.....and HBK there, the Champ.....he says that you earned them in spades" he passes over the shirt and it's quickly put on by an eager Montoya....."but Aldo Montoya? That name doesn't fly man....from now on, you're gonna be exactly what you are.....you're gonna be Justin Credible."</p><p> </p><p> Again there are four KLiQ men applauding the crowning....and christening of a new member, before Michaels again takes the microphone. He asks the crowd what's next for the KLiQ? He says they already have the top prize in the game, the WWF Championship.....Sean Waltman, he's got the top prize in the Light Heavyweight division......he turns to Hall and Nash and looks them up and down....."but I can't help but notice that you two seem to be rather bare around the waist area there.....aren't you missing something?" Nash and Hall look down confused for a second before Nash shrugs, saying "I don't know Champ.....I mean, I've got my sweet KLiQ shirt on....what else do I need?" Hall leans up and whispers in his ear and a look of mock realisation breaks out on Big Sexy's face...."Oh yeah, that's right.....Steiner Brothers....we told you that we were coming for your belts.....we beat you last night.....in three weeks time there's a little Pay Per View coming up......it's called In Your House, KLiQ Rulez.....seems as fitting place as any to take those Tag Titles from you.....so we'll see you there boys." </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="cxFuo6U.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cxFuo6U.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Ysgc13U.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Ysgc13U.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="w3aaloG.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/w3aaloG.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Just then the party is ruined by the arrival of the Hart Foundation....Bret, Owen and Davey walk out onto the entrance way and The Hitman has a mic. He tells the KLiQ that they might have screwed over Jerry Lawler last night.....they might have screwed over Chris Jericho, The Steiner's and Al Snow......but the fun times are coming to an end, because the Hart Foundation want that WWF Title.....and they want it at In Your House. HBK shakes his head, saying that what they want doesn't matter...."we're running the place now and your days of free Title shots are over.....Its like the marquee says Bretty Boy.....KLiQ Rulez.....you want a shot at this belt, you gotta earn it.....if you three no bodies can beat three of my kick ass KLiQ buddies tonight.....well then maybe......MAYBE.....I'll give you your shot. Bret agrees and we go to commercial with tonight's main event booked and ready to go.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> A*</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p></div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><div></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="e2fIJvD.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/e2fIJvD.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="cia2H1k.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cia2H1k.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> VS. <img alt="m0VMdA6.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/m0VMdA6.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="i4fICHd.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/i4fICHd.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img style="max-width:10%;</p><p> "src="<a href="https://i.imgur.com/t8T5ONR.jpg" rel="external nofollow">https://i.imgur.com/t8T5ONR.jpg"></a></p><p> </p><p> It's time for the first match up of the evening, and the Harris boys are in a bad mood following their defeat at the hands of the Legion of Doom last night. Matt and Jeff are still trying to make a name for themselves here in the WWF....in fact they have yet to pick up a win on any of the main shows so far.....it's not for lack of trying though and McMahon on commentary claims that its only going to take one win to bolster these two youngsters confidence and set them on a win streak.....unfortunately that one win isn't coming tonight, all be it not for the lack of trying. They nearly picked up the victory after Jeff nailed Don Harris with a spectacular swanton bomb but Paul Ellering was quick to place his mans foot on the ropes, saving the match for his team. Eventually the Harris Boys were able to flatten Matt with a big H-Bomb to pick up the victory. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner(s):</strong> The Harris Boys</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> C+</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="e2fIJvD.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/e2fIJvD.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="cia2H1k.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cia2H1k.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="m0VMdA6.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/m0VMdA6.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="i4fICHd.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/i4fICHd.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> The match is over....but the Harris Boys aren't....apparently they haven't inflicted enough damage for their manager, as he barks orders at ringside to make them suffer.....and they do.....as Jeff also finds himself the recipient of a H-Bomb, before Ron and Don unleash with a barrage of stomps and kicks....right up until....</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Y4PwSFN.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Y4PwSFN.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="JPWbAH1.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/JPWbAH1.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> ......The Legion of Doom run down to make the save. The youngster is sat alone on a sound equipment box, staring at the floor. Waltman comes to a halt, telling his buddies to "look at this sorry looking mess.....it's my old pal Chris Jericho.....how's that no rematch clause feeling now pal?because it's feeling pretty good to me." Jericho slowly raises his head and takes in the scene in front of him, before telling Waltman that somehow, someway, he's going to get that Championship back sooner or later.....and it won't matter how many KLiQ members he brings, next time he'll be ready. Waltman just laughs, telling him that there isn't going to be a next time genius....no rematch means exactly that.....which is why he's off to the ring now, where he can watch the crowning of a new number one contender to his title.....and spoiler alert....it's NOT Chris Jericho.</p><p> </p><p> With that the trio laughs again, before making their way out into the arena, where presumably they will be watching the next match up between Jerry Lynn, Rey Mysterio and Hakushi. They each pull up a chair at ringside and await the first participant....but who comes out? Certainly not a Light Heavyweight....</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="YMbnf57.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/YMbnf57.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> ......it's WWF President Gorilla Monsoon. He makes his way down the aisle and into the ring. He first of all addresses the KLiQ members on the outside, stating that their actions as of late have been diabolical....unsurprisingly they don't care, they just sit their wriggling their fingers in mock fear.....Monsoon is unimpressed, telling them that they may want to listen to this, as he calls Chris Jericho to the ring. It doesn't take long for his request to be answered as Lionheart walks out with a confused look on his face. He joins Monsoon as the KLiQ look on suspiciously from the outside. Before telling the crowd that</p><p> </p><p> "Last night at In Your House, this man was robbed of the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship.....and while I COULD simply strip Mr Waltman of his ill-gotten gold, this is the WWF and our referees decisions are final.....therefore, the Light Heavyweight Title shall remain where it is......but the no rematch clause........"</p><p> </p><p> Before Monsoon can continue Waltman is up like a shot, he tells Gorilla not to get any ideas....that was an official WWF legally binding contract, that clearly states that no man named on it shall be entitled to a rematch as long as one of the other men holds the title.....and if Monsoon tries to over ride it then Waltman will sue both him AND the World Wrestling Federation for everything they have.</p><p> </p><p> Monsoon tells Waltman that he didn't let him finish......"the no rematch clause stands as well.........HOWEVER.......as you so rightly pointed out, the contract states that no man named on it will be entitled to a rematch as long as one of the other named party's are champion.......the names stated on that contract.....were Chris Jericho.....Scorpio.............and the 123 Kid.......and YOU sir.....you are not, by your own declaration.....the 123 Kid......the current Light Heavyweight Champion is Sean Waltman.....and he wasn't named ANYWHERE on that contract.......THEREFORE, the no rematch clause.......is invalid."</p><p> </p><p> Waltman is furious at this term of events, screaming that it's bull###t, to which Monsoon replies that "no....it's called a loophole....just like the KLiQ used in the WWF Title match last night......" Jericho is ecstatic at the news, shouting at Waltman that he's gonna get his belt back, when Monsoon interrupts him.....he tells Jericho "not so fast, because it IS a loop hole, the rematch isn't automatic and this next match between Jerry Lynn, Rey Mysterio and Hakushi WILL crown a new number one contender.....if you want a shot after that.....well you're going to have to earn it."</p><p> </p><p> Jericho says that he is happy to earn his shot, because he knows, not only will he earn that rematch.....he'll win back his title too. Waltman is less happy, warning Jericho that he'll never be the Champion again.....and if he gets in the KLiQs way, it'll be the last thing he does....before He, Nash and Hall storm to the back, apparently losing interest in the next match after that revelation.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B+</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="5efTwVQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/5efTwVQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> VS. <img alt="bPirxUr.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/bPirxUr.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> VS. <img alt="aj4V2Qw.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/aj4V2Qw.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Three Way Dance, Elimination match to become #1 contender to the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship</strong></p><p> </p><p> After witnessing the first three way dance featuring elimination ruled last night at In Your House, we are treated to another one here tonight. Mysterio made quite the splash in his debut a few weeks ago, where as Jerry Lynn and Hakushi have been floundering as late....not that either man is any less capable than Mysterio.....quite the opposite with Lynn, who is pound for pound one of the best workers here in the Light Heavyweight division. The three men start off fast and hard, each throwing caution to the wind due to the high stakes involved in this one. Hakushi demonstrates a particularly aggressive approach, obviously looking to finally break out and make a name for himself here in the WWF, however he gets caught with a school boy roll up by Mysterio and is the first man eliminated. </p><p> </p><p> The two remaining competitors continue battling as Hakushi rolls to the outside, slamming the ring apron in frustration....seeing the chance to finally win Gold here in the WWF slip through his fingers has obviously angered him. Back in the ring, the two competitors remaining aren't the only ones feeling the pain that such a fast pace of the match causes, as the official gets knocked down after both Mysterio and Lynn collide with him simultaneously. Rey hits a hurracanranna/pin combination, which should have been enough to secure the victory, but the official was still out of position, missing the pinfall......one man who wasn't out of position however was Hakushi, who seeing the referee down, rolled back into the ring and sprayed Mysterio in the eyes with a mouthful of green mist. Oblivious to the interference, Lynn rolls Rey up in a tight small package and with the referee finally back in action, picks up the victory....and the Number One contenders spot.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> ....and new #1 Contender to the Light Heavyweight Championship.....Jerry Lynn</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> C-</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="bPirxUr.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/bPirxUr.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="aj4V2Qw.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/aj4V2Qw.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Jerry Lynn spots the fact that Mysterio's mask is a mess of green mist and helps him to his feet, checking that he is ok. Mysterio runs at his eyes with a towel that the official provides and assures Lynn that he's fine. Satisfied with that the new number one contender heads to the back.....which is when Hakushi re-enters the ring......and again sprays mist in the face of the little luchador. He slams Rey to the mat and heads up top, delivering a big moonsault for good measure before screaming at him in Japanese and heading to the back.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> D-</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="KnKSFDq.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/KnKSFDq.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="KMJ08GR.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/KMJ08GR.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="zEp3Eup.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/zEp3Eup.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> The cameras head to the back where we see Bart Gunn walking the halls, he's clearly looking for Billy, opening doors and shouting out name. Bart shouts out to his partner, before shouting that he's been looking for him everywhere, but before he can catch up with him Perfect has placed a hand on Billy's shoulder, ushering him away and out of view. We follow Bart down the corridor but when he arrives at the corner both Billy and Perfect are nowhere to be seen. The trio climb into the ring, Cornette with his ever present microphone in hand, where he proceeds to address the crowd. He tells them that last night, his Doomsday machine Kane completed two promises.....one made to Jim Cornette and one made to himself.....for Jim Cornette, he took that smelly, sweaty, sushi eating slob Yokozuna and drove him to the mat, before almost breaking the mans giant leg......but for himself, he finally achieved the dream of a lifetime....."and I'm not talking about no story-tale Shawn Michaels boyhood dream trash....I'm talking about a LIFELONG dream....the kind of dream that shapes a mans soul and burns him from the inside out....you people come out here, week after week, night after night, and you cheer the Undertaker like he's your hero....like he deserves your admiration.....well he doesn't.....this man deserves your cheers, this man deserves all the plaudits.....this man....the man mountain Kane.....he's the real hero.....but you'll find that out for yourselves soon enough......that's IF the Undertaker ever shows his face around here again." Cornette laughs before passing the microphone to Mankind.</p><p> </p><p> "Oh, I hope he does Uncle Jimmy....see Deadman, you got just a little taste of what I have in store for you last night.....you got a little glimpse of the darkness inside me head on and it blinded you like the brightest light....that's the problem you see.....how can you face down my darkness....when you can't even accept your own.....that's the difference between you and me Undertaker.....I wear my darkness like a badge of honour, while you.....you hide yours away and hope that it stays gone......but it didn't stay gone.....it's here to stay.....and it's seven foot tall and clad in red and black......please come back Undertaker......please......we've only just begun the fun.....we'll be waiting for you.....Have a nice day."</p><p> </p><p> With that the twisted trio leave the ring and head back up the aisle way. They're just about to exit the stage when.....</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="WQovKz9.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/WQovKz9.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="0LQdZos.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/0LQdZos.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> .......two of the recipients of Kane's wrath last night come bursting out of the back dressed in street clothes. Phatu makes a beeline for Mankind, while a clearly limping Yokozuna takes out his frustrations on Kane. The element of surprise gives the pair an early advantage, as they hammer the dark duo with stiff blows, but Kane and Mankind soon fight back and before long the four men are brawling in the aisle way. Security is out to break it up.....then more security.....then even more.....all in all it takes almost a small army to keep the two pairs of men away from each other....but not before Mankind, who's no stranger to pulling his own hair out, rips a clump out of Phatu's long mane while McMahon screams that we are going to commercial.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B-</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="KMJ08GR.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/KMJ08GR.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> VS. <img alt="bgKzLED.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/bgKzLED.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> We are back from commercial and it's match time here on Raw, as Billy Gunn goes one on one with Justin Bradshaw, after defeating the Texas Long Rider's partner Barry Windham last week....all be it by dubious circumstances. Speaking of Windham, he's out to accompany his partner, unlike Gunn who again comes out solo. While Billy would usually have the crowd on his side in this one, it's difficult to tell who to cheer for, because Gunn is not wrestling his usual match, he's far more aggressive than usual and doesn't seem averse to....let's say "bending" the rules....but then neither does Bradshaw, and he has the advantage of having Windham at ringside. In the end though it's not Bradshaw, Windham or Billy that ushers in the finish.....it's Bart Gunn. Because after the second ref bump of the night....and after Billy has nailed Windham with a steel chair, putting him out of commission, he turns on Bradshaw to inflict the same damage. Which is when Bart comes running down the aisle....he snatches the chair from Billy's hands and tosses it to the mat, telling him that he doesn't need to do that to win....and if he hadn't been avoiding him all night then he would have already told him that. Billy shoves his partner, telling him to mind his own damn business, which is when Windham (who's finally come to his senses) drags Bart to the outside, just as Billy turns around, only to be greeted by a huge Lariat....one, two, three....this ones over.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> Justin Bradshaw</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> C+</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="KMJ08GR.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/KMJ08GR.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="zEp3Eup.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/zEp3Eup.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="KnKSFDq.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/KnKSFDq.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> The Long Riders head to the back, leaving Bart to try and rouse Billy. He succeeds and the fallen Gunn slowly regains his senses.....only to realise that it's not his music playing....and it's kind of his partners fault. He's quick to his feet and yelling at Bart, accusing him of sabotaging his career, shoving him hard in the chest. Bart has had enough of being pushed around and we have soon descended into a shoving match, which is only halted when Mr. Perfect of all people comes running down to the aisle and pulls Billy away, whispering in his ear. It's unclear what he said but it obviously did the trick, because Billy turns and heads to the back, with Perfect muttering words of wisdom all the way.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> C+</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="FOurmAt.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/FOurmAt.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="PST0d7r.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/PST0d7r.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="yiIP524.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/yiIP524.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="rHR4YiB.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rHR4YiB.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="2sHqNDo.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/2sHqNDo.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> We come back from commercial to find the entire Nation of Domination stood in the ring. Faarooq has a microphone and proceeds to tell the crowd that last night, he showed Ahmed Johnson that it doesn't pay to cross the brotherhood. He says that there is a fine line between bravery and stupidity and that an intelligent man will always beat a brave man, hands down. He tells Ahmed that he's got all the potential in the world, he just needs the correct mind to help him harness that potential....he says Faarooq is the right mind....the Nation is the right environment....so come on down and claim your spot. </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="kbzSPDo.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kbzSPDo.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Ahmed does indeed come down....but he says that the only thing he's going to claim....is that Intercontinental Championship around your waist.....he says that the Faarooq didn't beat him last night....the Nation beat him.....to which Faarooq replies "I AM THE NATION." He tells Ahmed that if he's not going to do the right thing and join the winning team....."then I'm done with your punk ass....get the hell outta here." Ahmed doesn't look like he has any intention of leaving though.....which is when....</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="rHqoB6y.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rHqoB6y.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="wG8J8D6.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/wG8J8D6.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> .....Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Sunny make their way out. He looks Ahmed up and down in disgust, before turning his attention to Faarooq, claiming that if anyone around here deserves a shot at that title, then it's Hunter Hearst Helmsley...."I've been asking for a shot at the Intercontinental Championship for months.....I'm fed up of asking......so now I'm telling.....Give. Me. A. Shot......</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="wdkMubP.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/wdkMubP.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> .....oh look, another one......this time it's Marc Mero that's out. He says that his memory might be playing tricks on him here....but as far as he know, out of himself, Ahmed and Helmsley....he's the only one to pick up a victory last night....so if anyone deserves a shot around here, it's him. Ahmed tells Mero that he's only been in the company for a heartbeat and to step back, before he's put back....that results in a shouting match between all the men....it's getting a little chaotic....</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="YMbnf57.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/YMbnf57.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> ......this ring is getting rather full.....now Monsoon is out to calm things down. He says that Ahmed has a legitimate claim to a rematch after the outside interference last night.....Helmsley, despite his attitude and defeat last night, has an impressive enough win loss record to argue that he deserves a shot......and if Helmsley deserves a shot, then surely the man who pinned him last night deserves a shot as well.....so this is what we're going to do.....Faarooq.....since you like to utilise the Nation and exploit the numbers game so much....I'm going to give you some numbers......one, two, three, four, he says, pointing to each man in turn.....In Your House, it's going to be a Fatal Four Way.....for the WWF Intercontinental Championship.....oh.....and to keep those numbers fair.....the rest of the Nation are barred from ringside.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B-</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="CFe97xQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/CFe97xQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> VS. <img alt="cH2CWBn.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cH2CWBn.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Match time.....and Tatanka is looking to pic up some momentum following his defeat at the hands of Sid last night.....while Austin.....Austin just wants to wrestle. It's a decent match, nothing special but nothing horrible either.....and despite Brian Pillmans insistence that Austin is a much better fighter than wrestler....it's the wrestling that gives him the victory, because as Tatanka comes off the top rope with a Tomahawk Chop, Austin sidesteps, spins behind.....locks in the Million Dollar Dream.....and sends Tonto to sleep.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> Steve Austin</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="SC2jCnQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/SC2jCnQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="cxFuo6U.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cxFuo6U.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> As Austin is celebrating his victory we are treated to a split screen of Austin making his way to the back.....and Brian Pillman sat with Bret Hart IN the back. We can't hear what's being said but they were obviously watching Austin's match on the monitor. McMahon questions what Pillman is doing with the Hitman but Jim Ross is quick to point out that Brian Pillman and the Hart Family go way, way back....with Pillman actually being a trainee of Stu and the rest of the Harts back in the Dungeon, before finally being given his first break in the Harts Stampede promotion. Vince says that considering that the main event is up next, Bret Hart might be better concentrating on that instead of reminiscing with Pillman...and with that we take our final commercial break of the evening. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="cxFuo6U.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cxFuo6U.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Ysgc13U.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Ysgc13U.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="w3aaloG.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/w3aaloG.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> VS.</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="7M1mABh.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/7M1mABh.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="tsQXS32.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/tsQXS32.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="pzXetTl.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/pzXetTl.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> We're back and just in time, because that screeching guitar signals the arrival of the Hart Foundation.....and more importantly it signals the first time that Bret and Owen have teamed up since their ill fated attempt to win the WWF Tag Team Title at the Royal Rumble 1994 almost two and a half years ago.....a match which kickstarted their 28 month feud....hopefully their first match back together doesn't have the same result.</p><p> </p><p> The KLiQ contingent are out next and it looks like they are sticking with a winning formula as its Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and the newly minted Justin Credible making their way to the ring....along with Sean Waltman at their side. The match gets underway and the crowd are on fire at the prospect of seeing the Harts together again, in fact when Owen tags out to Bret the roof nearly shakes the emotions are that high. </p><p> </p><p> Obviously the Harts are up for this one and they unload on the KLiQ members one by one, until Kevin Nash is able to shut down Owens offence with brute force, giving the advantage to his team. Much like at In Your House, Nash, Hall and Credible work together as a unit to isolate the younger Hart brother. At one point Hart is able to crawl over and make the tag to the British Bulldog but the official waved it off as he didn't see it due to a well timed distraction by Waltman on the outside. The KLiQ try to utilise the same tactic later in the match, as Waltman again hops onto the apron to draw the attention of the referee, this time however Owen is able to send Scott Hall crashing into him, before diving over and making the super hot tag to his big brother Bret. </p><p> </p><p> From there pandemonium breaks out and the action is everywhere as all six competitors begin to brawl. The Bulldog and Nash break off from the group and find themselves on the outside, where they proceed to beat the holy hell out of each other. The official attempts to prevent Big Sexy and Big Bulldog from killing each other. Unfortunately it also leaves the competitors in the ring without anyone to uphold the rules. This means Waltman is able to hop into the ring, this time with his Light Heavyweight Championship in hand, ready to nail Owen in the back of the head.....fortunately for the Harts....</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="cr5i0Lz.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cr5i0Lz.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> .....Al Snow is out, obviously still feeling salty from Waltmans interference in his match last night. He rolls into the ring and disposes of the former 123 Kid over the top rope. Credible charges the newly arrived wrestler, but he's caught with a kick to the gut and a Snow Plow for his troubles. In the meantime Bret slams Hall hard to the match and the two Hart Brothers exchange a look....before locking on duel Sharpshooters on both the Bad Guy and Credible. With Nash preoccupied with the Bulldog and Waltman kept at bay by Snow, Hall and Credible have little choice but to simultaneously submit giving the reunited Hart Clan the victory.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner(s):</strong> The Hart Foundation</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="bN15JFv.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/bN15JFv.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="7M1mABh.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/7M1mABh.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="tsQXS32.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/tsQXS32.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="IYJgUWD.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/IYJgUWD.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="pzXetTl.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/pzXetTl.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <img alt="cxFuo6U.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cxFuo6U.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Ysgc13U.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Ysgc13U.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="w3aaloG.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/w3aaloG.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="cr5i0Lz.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cr5i0Lz.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Owen and Bret release the holds and Hall and Credible roll to the outside, where along with Nash and Waltman the back up the aisle way, while the Hart Foundation and Al Snow celebrate in the ring. The KLiQ come to a halt at the entrance ramp and the WWF Champion Shawn Michaels joins them....but he doesn't look happy with the result. He tells Bret that "Ok Hitman.....kind of a cheap way to win with your new little buddy there interfering, but if you're happy with that sort of victory then who am I to judge......you want your rematch, that's fine, because at In Your House, KLiQ Rulez.....it'll be history repeating itself, because just like at Wrestlemania it's gonna be the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels, kicking Bret Harts Canadian ass.</p><p> </p><p> Bret picks up a microphone while Owen and Davey pat him on the back, telling him that he's gonna make Shawn scream when he locks in that patented Sharpshooter. Bret tells Shawn that they're right.....and nothing will give him greater pleasure than to hear Michaels crying out in agony, locked in the Sharpshooter.......but it won't be me that's making you scream......it's going to be my brother, Owen Hart.</p><p> </p><p> Owen doesn't register what Bret has said at first, but when he does a look of surprise breaks out in his face, that's soon replaced by a huge smile when he realises that his brother has sacrificed a shot at the World Title so that Owen can have a shot. Michaels also looks surprised for a moment, but soon composes himself and becomes his usual cocky self. He says that whether it's Bret, Owen, Bruce, Stu, Helen.....it doesn't matter....because there's not a single one of the Harts that he can't take out with one Sweet Chin Music.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> A</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Final Rating:</strong> B</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p></div><p></p>

It was a slightly disappointing show this week....not from my point of view, I thought it was great, but the feedback was definitely more split than usual, but then I guess that's the price you pay for trying to build up newer stars.....the Hardys, Rey Mysterio, Jerry Lynn, none of them carry much stock with the fans just yet.....and if I'd told you a month ago that both Avatar and Aldo Montoya would be featured predominantly in the main event of Raw, you'd probably think I'd gone mad....I just have to remind myself that with time their face value will rise...sooner or later the ends will justify the means.....I hope.

Present as ever are Vince McMahon and Jim Ross, both of whom welcome the King back, before McMahon tells us that before we go any further, they have some footage recorded earlier in the day that needs to be shown.</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Ysgc13U.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Ysgc13U.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Ip6t6qd.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Ip6t6qd.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> With that we are treated to the sight of Owen Hart arriving at the building earlier in the day. He steps out of his rental car and heads to the back to collect his bags. As he's reaching into the back seat however the door is violently slammed against him.....but not by any member of the KLiQ as you would expect....no this is Jeff Jarrett, coming out of nowhere and assaulting the man who will challenge for the WWF Title at In Your House. He pulls the unsuspecting Hart back from the car, laying a series of vicious kicks into his ribs before picking him up from the ground and driving the King of Hart hard into the side of the car. He tells Owen that he heard Bret Harts comments at the last In Your House Pay Per View and take it from him, Double J is no coward. He delivers another series of stiff kicks to the defenceless Owen, then walks away, telling Hart to let his brother know that he should be watching his back....."because that beating I just gave you? It's nothing compared to what's in store for the Hitman."</p><p> </p><p> The video ends and we go back to commentary, where Vince McMahon informs us that because of this cowardly attack, Owen Hart, against doctors recommendations has gone to WWF President Gorilla Monsoon and demanded to face Jeff Jarrett, one on one here tonight in our main event. I have just been informed that Monsoon has agreed, and he has also ordered that the four men competing for the WWF Intercontinental Championship at In Your House, that being Faarooq, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Ahmed Johnson and Marc Mero, are to pair up tonight and face each other in tag team action....and that match is indeed next.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B+</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p></div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><div></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="kbzSPDo.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kbzSPDo.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="wdkMubP.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/wdkMubP.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> VS. <img alt="FOurmAt.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/FOurmAt.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="rHqoB6y.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rHqoB6y.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> While these two teams may have to work together this evening, the same can't be said for two weeks from now when it will be everyman for himself as they fight for the right to be called Intercontinental Champion. Ahmed is out first to a good pop as always, followed by Mero, Helmsley (with the beautiful Sunny by his side) and finally Faarooq, who as usual is accompanied by the intimidating sight of the Nation of Donination. Sadly for Faarooq, the intimidation doesn't stretch as far as the official, because before his group of thugs are able to enter the ring, the referee orders all four members to leave the ringside area and go to the back.</p><p> </p><p> Faarooq is furious, telling a near by camera that this is a blatant example of the "man" trying to hold the Nation down. The match gets underway and these two mismatched teams pair off against their previous In Your House opponents, Faarooq and Ahmed in one corner, Mero and Helmsley in the other. Before long the heel contingent manage to gain the upper hand as they isolate Mero and work him over. Helmsley and Faarooq work surprisingly well as a team and Mero is in real trouble until he's finally able to make the tag to Ahmed, who comes tearing in like a man on a mission, punishing both Faarooq and Helmsley with big power moves.</p><p> </p><p> The end of the match brings a surprising twist, as after taking one big bump to many from Ahmed, Helmsley rolls out of the ring and waves off his partner. Sunny takes Hunter by the arm and leads him to the back, telling him that he can't risk injury this close to his big title match. Faarooq screams up the aisle way at the disappearing Hunter, but he should have kept his attention on his opponents, because he turns around into a quick left jab from Mero, that leaves him open for Johnson's Pearl River Plunge....and just like that, the Intercontinental Champion has been pinned.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner(s):</strong> Ahmed Johnson & Marc Mero</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="Rc3NoDZ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Rc3NoDZ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <img alt="Y4PwSFN.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Y4PwSFN.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="JPWbAH1.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/JPWbAH1.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="e2fIJvD.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/e2fIJvD.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="cia2H1k.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cia2H1k.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Following that cowardly retreat by Hunter Hearst Helmsley, we head to the back, where Dok Hendrix is standing by with the Legion of Doom and the Hardy Boys. Dok remarks that the Hardys were only a rope break away from securing their first major win here in the WWF last week against the Harris Boys....and to add insult to injury, they were both the recipient of a H-Bomb a piece. Matt says that the time has come for the world to sit up and take notice of the Hardy Boys, he says that they have been here in the WWF, floating under the radar for almost three years....at first just making it to the World Wrestling Federation was a dream come true....but that's not enough anymore. Jeff says that they have paid their dues here in the WWF and they are fed up with being looked at as the whipping boys, it's time to make a stand and it starts with the Harris Boys. </p><p> </p><p> Dok turns to the Legion of Doom, asking them why they came down to make the save last week. Animal screams that as long as the Harris Boys are walking around with that slime bag Paul Ellering, the Legion of Doom will always be there to take them out.....</p><p> </p><p> ".....AND AS FAR AS THESE TWO HARDY BOYS HERE GO.....THEY'VE GOT MORE HEART IN THEIR LITTLE FINGERS, THAN THE HARRIS BOYS HAVE IN THEIR WHOLE STINKING BODIES....TAKE A LOOK AT THE FUTURE, BECAUSE HARRIS BOYS....MATT AND JEFF ARE IN YOURS, TELL EM HAWK!"</p><p> </p><p> "WELLLLLL......IT SEEMS TO ME, LIKE SO FAR, THE HARDY BOYS HAVE BEEN THE LITTLE ENGINE THAT COULDN'T.....ALL ABILITY, NO KILLER INSTINCT.....ALL FLASH, NO FINISH.....WELL ME AND ANIMAL, WE KNOW A THING OR TWO ABOUT KILLER INSTINCT.....AND WE CERTAINLY KNOW A THING OR TWO ABOUT FINISHING.....AND BY THE TIME WE'RE DONE WITH MATT AND JEFF.....THEY'RE GOING TO BE LEAVING THE HARRIS BOYS FLAT....AND DEAF.....CRUSHED TO THE MAT LIKE BUGS WITH THEIR EARDRUMS HANGING OUT OF THEIR HEADS.......UHHHHHHHH....WHAT A RUSHHHHHHHHH!"</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B-</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="bN15JFv.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/bN15JFv.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="7M1mABh.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/7M1mABh.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="tsQXS32.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/tsQXS32.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="IYJgUWD.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/IYJgUWD.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="pzXetTl.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/pzXetTl.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> We stay backstage, this time in the locker room of the KLiQ, where WWF Champion Shawn Michaels is gathered with the rest of his brethren around a monitor. We can't see what they are watching past the sea of bodies, but they are clearly enjoying it. There are "ooh's" and "ahh's" aplenty, before all five men erupt into laughter, with Shawn telling Credible to rewind it, he wants to watch it again. Credible moves towards the video player, and through the gap that he leaves we see that they are watching a replay of Jeff Jarrett's vicious assault of Owen Hart from earlier in the evening. The part where Double J slams the car door into Hart plays and again the KLiQ erupt in laughter, with Hall remarking that "and he's gonna fight Jarrett tonight after that beatdown? He's even dumber than his brother, he probably won't even make it to In Your House."</p><p> </p><p> Shawn says that he hopes he does make it, because if there's one thing sure to put the Heartbreak Kid in a good mood.....its beating up on a Hart brother.....Nash pipes in that it's almost as good as beating on a Steiner Brother. Again the KLiQ erupts in laughter like the obnoxious group that they are before Michaels suggests that they should mosey on down to the ring during the main event...."just to make sure that Jarrett doesn't do too much damage to little Owen obviously....wouldn't want my Title defence to be put at risk now would we boys......ok, ok.....rewind it again so I can hear that crunch."</p><p> </p><p> Again Credible rewinds the tape to fits of laughter from the KLiQ as we go back to the arena.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B+</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="bPirxUr.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/bPirxUr.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> VS. <img alt="uQZlsIM.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/uQZlsIM.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> It's time for Light Heavyweight action here, and following the disappointment of missing out on the number one contenders shot last week, Rey Mysterio will be looking to pick up a victory here to ensure he's not lost in the rankings shuffle. Young Chavo could equally do with picking up some momentum however, so this should be a closely fought battle. Chavo shows a lot of that fiery Guerrero offence that ensured his family legendary status back in Mexico but Rey is a man on a mission, flying around and throwing caution to the wind, he won't be stopped......except he is stopped.....but not by Guerrero, by this man.....</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="aj4V2Qw.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/aj4V2Qw.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> .....Hakushi makes his way down the aisle, causing a distracted Mysterio to get crotched on the top rope by a charging Chavo. He climbs into the ring behind Rey, biding his time until the dazed Mysterio pulls himself to his feet. Rey turns around.....and catches a face full of green mist from the dastardly man of the orient. Rey drops to the mat in agony, desperately rubbing his eyes, but Hakushi isn't finished. He whips his victim into the corner, connecting with a hard hamstring elbow, punctuated with a moonsault from the top for good measure. Only when Mysterio is motionless on the mat is the man finally satisfied, heading to the back leaving the medical personnel to attend to Rey.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> C-</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="zEp3Eup.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/zEp3Eup.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> We come back from a quick commercial to find Bart Gunn stood alone in the centre of the ring. He tells the crowd that he's not usually one to be out here with a microphone in his hand, he's always been happier to let his fists do the talking....but for the last few weeks he's been walking around these arenas like and idiot, trying to talk man to man with his partner Billy...but he says that just recently, everywhere Billy is, Mr. Perfect is never far behind. He says that he's sick of looking.....and he's sick of being ignored.....so if Billy Gunn is half the man that Bart used to think he was, he'll walk his ass down that aisle right now, because we need to talk.</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="KnKSFDq.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/KnKSFDq.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="KMJ08GR.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/KMJ08GR.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> It takes a few moments, but Billy does indeed make his way to the ring....much as has been the case recently though he has Mr. Perfect by his side, whispering in his ear the whole way down the aisle. The two climbs into the ring and Billy looks as though he's going to get in Bart's face, but Perfect places his hand on his chest, again whispering instructions in his ear. Bart looks at the pair for a moment before saying that this is exactly his point.....wherever Billy is, Perfect is never far behind. Bart says he doesn't know what's gotten into his partner recently, bending the rules, looking for a win anywhere it will come.....he says that's not the Smoking Gunn way....that's not how they became Champions. Billy interrupts him, telling him "that's exactly the problem.....we're not Champions.....and at Wrestlemania, the biggest event of the year.....we didn't even challenge for those titles....we were in a bullrope match with the Texas Long Riders.....which HAD we have won, may well have put us up there as the next contenders.....but we didn't win.....because when I was millimetres away from victory, I had to throw it all away to save your sorry ass.....there's a reason that the Steiner Brothers are walking around with MY tag team titles.....and that's because you (prodding Bart in the chest) are holding the team back.....and more importantly YOU (again prodding Bart's chest) are holding ME back."</p><p> </p><p> Bart looks visibly annoyed by Billy's words.....and even more annoyed when he pokes him in the chest. Bart says that he's never done anything during their career, that wasn't for the good of the team.....and the only one that's holding Billy back, is the man by his side right now. Perfect doesn't like that, but he's not one to easily lose his cool. He tells Bart that all of this can be resolved in two simple moves.....move one, beat the Texas Long Riders.....move two....take back the WWF Tag Team titles.....he says that as an Executive Consultant, he can arrange for both of these matches to happen.....in fact, he's already spoken to Gorilla Monsoon, pulled a few strings.....and if they want it, the Texas Long Riders are theirs at In Your House. Perfect steps towards Bart and outstretches his hand with a huge grin on his face. Bart looks at his partner, who tells him to "shake his hand and take the damn match." Reluctantly Bart takes Perfects hand in his own, telling him that they will take the match......and they will win.........fairly. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> C+</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="nNLeDLe.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/nNLeDLe.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> VS. <img alt="x7S7R0g.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/x7S7R0g.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> It's match time again, this time it's the former Racing Car driver vs. the former Roadie......or Bob Holly vs Jesse James to everyone else. This is a return to the WWF for James, who left after a semi successful run as Jeff Jarrett's lackey in early to mid 95....after that he had a few......let's call them "wellness problems." Hopefully he's put all that behind him now, but after the Mart Jannetty debacle from a few weeks back, it's fair to say he's going to have to prove himself before he gets any meaningful kind of push.....Holly on the other hand has had very little success other than his brief Tag Team Title win back in January of 95....tonight though, proving that anything can indeed happen here in the WWF, Holly finally picks up a TV victory, pinning Jesse James after a particularly aggressive Alabama Slam.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> Bob Holly</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> D+</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> Following that barn burner of an encounter, we are treated to some new music that is unfamiliar to us, it begins with a brief oriental sounding riff, that soon gets drowned out by some very "Island" sounding tunes. They climb into the ring and Phatu picks up a microphone to address the crowd. He says that things are changing here in the WWF.....and if you don't change with it then you're going to be left behind.....but he says that sometimes to move forward, you need to honour your past.....your heritage....your blood. He stops and looks at Yoko for a minute before carrying on. He says that for over a year now he's been coming out here, trying to make a difference....trying to be a role model for all the kids around the world....but he's realised that to be the best role model he can be, he needs to be himself....not some streetwise leather jacket wearing preacher.....but the island boy he's always been in his heart. He rubs his hand over his head, saying that while thanks to Mankind giving him an impromptu hair cut last week when he ripped it straight from his head....his style may have changed, but his attitude didn't....he is Rikishi....and he's a Son of Samoa.</p><p> </p><p> Yokozuna takes the microphone, and the man who's never said anything other than "Banzai" starts to speak. He says that what Rikishi says is true....and heritage....and blood....is something that he sadly forgot about. He says that when he first came to the WWF, it was Jim Cornette and Mr. Fuji that told him that the WWF audience were sick of Samoans, that the WWF audience needed something more.....so they made me turn my back on my heritage....my blood.....for money and for titles....and for that I'm deeply sorry. He says he's no more Japanese than Jim Cornette.....he says that his name is Kokina....and he's a Son of Samoa.</p><p> </p><p> Rikishi takes back the mic and tells Jim Cornette to get ready, because when you messed with Rikishi and Kokina, you messed with the wrong island boys.....bring your Monster and your freak to In Your House.....bring Kane, bring Mankind.....because the Son's of Samoa.....we're gonna kick their ass.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> C+</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="Rc3NoDZ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Rc3NoDZ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="cr5i0Lz.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cr5i0Lz.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="5efTwVQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/5efTwVQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Following that announcement we head to the back, where an apprehensive looking Dok Hendrix is getting ready to interview his guests, the man who will challenge for the Light Heavyweight Title at In Your House, Jerry Lynn.....and his partner for tonight........Al Snow. As usual Snow is deep in conversation with his demons, seemingly oblivious to the fact that anyone else is even around, Dok looks at him and sighs, shaking his head before turning his attention to Lynn. He asks Lynn what he thinks his chances are tonight.....especially with a partner as......unpredictable, as Al Snow. Before Lynn can answer however, Snow interrupts.</p><p> </p><p> "......Betty?.......Betty, did you know about this?....."</p><p> </p><p> Dok asks Snow what the problem is, to which Snow replies "this" indicating to his right, where presumably "Avatar" is telling Dok exactly what the problem is. Waltman and Credible mesh surprisingly well as a team.....and I only say surprisingly because this is their first outing as partners. Lynn and Waltman have an upcoming Championship bout to think about, while Snow and Credible certainly have unresolved issues.....although to be fair, Al has issues in general. When Waltman and Lynn are in their together, the action is remarkably fluid, but Jim Ross informs us that in fact, these two are no strangers to each other, having fought each other all over the country before they ended up here in the WWF. The end comes as a result of Snows delusions, because with Lynn looking for a hot tag, Al is too busy arguing with himself to notice, meaning Waltman is able to roll his challenger up, grab a handful of tights for the extra leverage.....and pick up the victory ahead of their Championship bout.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner(s):</strong> Sean Waltman & Justin Credible</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B-</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="cH2CWBn.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cH2CWBn.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> We come back from commercial break just in time to witness the entrance of Steve Austin, ready for his upcoming match with the British Bulldog. He's yet to debut any new music since his split from Ted DiBiase and the Million Dollar Corporation, so he walks to the ring to the sounds of nothing but the boo's of the crowd. He climbs between the ropes and waits for the arrival of his opponent. Rule Britannia blares over the sound system and the British Bulldog does indeed come out.....he's not alone though..... </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="w3aaloG.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/w3aaloG.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="cxFuo6U.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cxFuo6U.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="SC2jCnQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/SC2jCnQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> .....he's accompanied by The Hitman....and inexplicably, Brian Pillman. The three men walk the aisle, before climbing into the ring with Austin, microphone in hand for both Pillman and Bret. Austin tells the official to get them out of the ring, stating that it's "not a damn handicap match" but Pillman tells him to relax, no ones here to fight.....well, the Bulldog is.....but not just yet. The Hitman addresses the cameras, but more importantly addresses Jeff Jarrett directly, telling him that what he did earlier tonight, just highlights how much of a coward he really is.....blindsiding Owen when his back was turned and then running away like a thief in the night....just like he ran last week when the KLiQ arrived. "Jarrett.....you got a problem with the things I have to say about you.....but you don't have the guts to say it to my face, instead you lurk about in the back like a coward, attacking innocent bystanders....well know this, sooner or later, you're not going to be able to run, because The Hitman has you in his sights." Pillman interrupts Bret and asks him.....</p><p> </p><p> "How about at the Pay Per View? in Your House is coming up."</p><p> </p><p> "No, I have other plans for In Your House."</p><p> </p><p> "Oh yes, that's right" rasps Pillman, who turns to address Austin. "You see Steve, you come out here week after week, night after night, claiming to be such a great "wrestler"....some weeks it works, some weeks it doesn't work....but you stick to it....you walk down to this ring and wrestle.....when you know damn well that in a fight, you could kick the ass of most people here.....but you don't....you wrestle.....because just like Jeff Jarrett, yore nothing but a coward......too scared to break out of the box that you were forced into when you started here in the WWF......I told you Steve....I warned you......I AM going to get the real Steve Austin out.....one way or another.....tonight (he pats the Bulldog on his big beefy shoulder) tonight, you go ahead and see how that wrestling works for you against the big guy here......but the test.....the real test....that comes at In Your House.......see you claim, to be the greatest wrestler in the WWF........the ringmaster (Pillman almost spits the word out).....you claim that you're the greatest.....let's see how you do against the best......that's the best pure wrestler that there is......the best pure wrestler there was.....and the best pure wrestler that there ever will be.....Bret "The Hitman" Hart."</p><p> </p><p> With that Pillman and Hart leave the ring and join the commentary team, much to the chagrin of Jerry Lawler, who despite recent events, still can't stand the Hitman.....Austin is still reeling from the news that he has a meeting with the Bret Hart at In Your House, so much so that the Bulldog is able to run through him with a clothesline to get this one underway. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> A</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="w3aaloG.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/w3aaloG.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> VS. <img alt="cH2CWBn.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cH2CWBn.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> With that initial clothesline to start, The Bulldog goes straight on the offence. He utilises his power, whipping Austin into the ropes and catching him in a big press slam. This is a good match, but Austin's insistence on using his grappling skills slows it down in places.....fortunately never for long though, because for every Abdominal Stretch that Austin applies, he gets hip tossed....head locks are turned into side slams and an arm bar attempt is reversed into a one armed Powerbomb. Pillman is screaming on commentary that this is exactly what he's been trying to stop.....telling Vince that he's looking like a damn idiot out there. McMahon remarks that Austin is simply going with what he knows best, to which Pillman retorts that "you would say that though wouldn't you......boss man."</p><p> </p><p> McMahon lets out one of his nervous chuckle, telling Pillman that he doesn't know what he means.....and anyway they should be focusing on the action in the ring, because the Bulldog looks like he's going to finish off his opponent with that patented running Powerslam.....Austin however is able to wriggle out of it and send Davey Boy running into the referee....not enough to knock him down, but enough to distract from the fact that Austin kicked the Bulldog square in his Crown Jewels immediately after. With Davey doubled over, Austin applies a sitout 3/4 face lock jawbreaker.....a move we haven't seen him use before, but it looks damned effective. Instead of going for the cover however, Austin turns the Bulldog so that he's facing the Hitman and locks in the Million Dollar Dream......it's redundant though, Bulldog is out cold from the previous move and the official calls the match.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> Steve Austin</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="cH2CWBn.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cH2CWBn.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="cxFuo6U.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cxFuo6U.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="SC2jCnQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/SC2jCnQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> With the victory in the bag, Austin leans over the top rope, yelling down at Hart and Pillman that he's going to take The Hitman to school, just like he did his meathead brother in-law. The Hitman argues back, saying he never out wrestled Davey, he just cheated like the lowlife that he is. The two continue bickering until the video screen at the top of the entrance suddenly flickers to life......</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="bN15JFv.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/bN15JFv.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="7M1mABh.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/7M1mABh.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="tsQXS32.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/tsQXS32.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="IYJgUWD.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/IYJgUWD.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="pzXetTl.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/pzXetTl.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> .....it shows the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels tapping at the lens of the camera, saying "is this thing on?" Pillman pauses for a minute, telling Austin to "grow a set of balls and come fight." Which Austin waves off......"ain't my fight son." Not wanting to waste anymore time, the Loose Cannon leaves Austin standing and runs to the back, as Vince McMahon warns us that our main event is in all likelihood, not going to happen, before sending us to commercial.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B+</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> We're back.....and we are treated to a replay of events that transpired during the commercial break....mainly a video featuring Owen being attended to by medical personnel, as Bret, Davey and Brian Pillman stand around looking concerned.</p><p> </p><p> Back live and the announcers tell us that Owen Hart is still being treated in the back following the heinous attack by the KLiQ.....and that's exactly when this mans music starts to play....</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Ip6t6qd.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Ip6t6qd.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> ......he walks down to the ring and grabs a mic, telling the audience that it just goes to show who the real cowards here in the WWF are....because me....old Double J.....I'm stood here ready to fight, and there's not a Hart to be seen for miles. Owen is having none of it though, pushing his way past his family and Pillman. His left arm and shoulder area are heavily taped and he's definitely got a slight limp....but he's here and he's clearly here to fight as he rolls gingerly into the ring. Two brutal attacks in one night have left him battered, bruised......and possibly a little bit broken.....but living up to his nickname, the King of Hearts isn't going to let Jarrett's attack earlier slide and even with only one arm he is able to punish Double J early on....granted it's mainly kick and punch (with his one good arm) offence....but it's offence non the less. He even manages to connect with an enzuguri kick to the back of Jarrett's head, after Jeff caught one of his kicks......unfortunately it wasn't a good landing as he landed square on that bad shoulder.....and Double J went to work.</p><p> </p><p> Jarrett rips off the protective tape from around Owens injured extremity, briefly choking him with it, while badmouthing the Hitman at ringside, breaking at a count of four before the ref can disqualify him. Eventually after a period of dominance, Jeff takes hold of Owens injured arm, sits down with it between his legs, places one foot against Harts skull, the other against his rib cage......and pulls back with all his might. McMahon on commentary is screaming that Jarrett is going to rip the arm right out of its socket. Owen is able to fight back into a standing position, leaving Jarrett's shoulders on the mat and as the official counts two, Jeff has little choice but to break the hold.....and the second he does, Owen hooks the two free legs, quick as a flash and turns his opponent into the Sharpshooter.....and Jarrett quits in record time.....almost before the hold is even locked in, clearly trying to save himself for the Hitman, Lawler quips on commentary. This one is over and Owen Hart is your winner, one arm and all.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> Owen Hart (via submission)</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="cxFuo6U.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cxFuo6U.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Ysgc13U.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Ysgc13U.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="w3aaloG.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/w3aaloG.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="SC2jCnQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/SC2jCnQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <img alt="bN15JFv.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/bN15JFv.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="7M1mABh.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/7M1mABh.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="tsQXS32.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/tsQXS32.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="IYJgUWD.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/IYJgUWD.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="pzXetTl.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/pzXetTl.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Owen barely has time to celebrate....in fact his music doesn't even play.....as the second the bell rings, the now familiar music of the KLiQ kicks in and all five men walk out from the back. They collide with Hall and Nash from behind, beating the holy hell out of the two men that will be challenging for their titles at In Your House. Seeing their opening, the Harts and Pillman quickly join the fray, and before long, all out war has broken out at ringside. It's absolute carnage as body's fly everywhere, but for once the numbers are not on the KLiQ's side, and Owen, Bret, Davey, Brian, Rick and Scott manage to send the black and white shirt wearing group scrambling to the back, before standing arms raised in victory in the middle of the ring to close the show.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B+</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Final Rating:</strong> B</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p></div><p></p>

<p>It's been a pretty quiet week to be fair, the show went off without a hitch (which is always a bonus) and even with the newer faces being heavily focused we didn't take too much of a hit. The new gimmicks for Phatu and Yoko went down pretty well. Rikishi was floundering a little bit in the midcard and I hated that "making a difference" garbage that he was doing.....and as for Yoko, while he still sees himself as main event caliber, I don't....he does still have some value though, so I'm hoping that this Sons of Samoa team takes off. One team that is definitely taking off didn't even feature on the show, nor are they a team.....but Kane and Mankind teamed up in a dark match before the show, just too see how they meshed ahead of the PPV.....their chemistry as a team was through the roof. Everything that they did just flowed like they had been teaming for years, I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty happy with that......the same can be said for Steve Austin and The Bulldog, they were another pair who just clicked when they faced off against each other. To be honest it was a bit of a throwaway match used to build heat towards the Bret and Austin match, but Steve and Davey might end up working a programme if their future matches flow like this one......the same however can not be said for Bob Holly and Jesse James. Their match was a mess, missed spots, timing all over the place, miscommunication.....it's safe to say that they don't have a future as opponents. I'm hoping that for James it's just a case of ring rust and not being chemically impaired.....as for Holly, I'm at a loss with what to do with him.</p><p> </p><p> As for comings and goings, obviously everyone saw the debut of the former Hugh Morris. He was pretty much floundering down in WCW so jumped at the chance to move here.....I'm hoping to utilise him because for a big guy, he's got a hell of a moonsault. Goings? Duke Droese's contract came up.....I didn't offer him an extension....WCW came in with an offer though, there welcome to him....he's now left the company.</p><p> </p><p> I don't know if it's the fact that the KLiQ are behaving so well (probably due to being pushed to the moon at the minute) but the backstage atmosphere has really improved recently. The boys have been bonding over video game tournaments, playing ribs on each other.....Marc Mero and Rey Mysterio have struck up a friendship after they both found out that the other was a big fan of practical jokes....so we can probably expect more ribs in the future.....all in all, this is a pretty good place to work at the minute, long may it continue.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p> </p><p> <strong>Preview for Monday Night Raw, Week 3, May 1996</strong></p><p> </p><p> Owen Hart & The Steiner Brothers vs. The KLiQ (Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash & Scott Hall)</p><p> Comments:</p><p> </p><p> Ahmed Johnson vs. Marc Mero</p><p> Comments:</p><p> </p><p> Rey Mysterio vs. Scorpio</p><p> Comments:</p><p> </p><p> Chris Jericho vs. Justin Credible</p><p> Comments:</p><p> </p><p> The Hardy Boys vs. The Nation of Domination (Nelson and Bobby Knight)</p><p> Comments:</p><p> </p><p> Faarooq vs. Hunter Hearst Helmsley</p><p> Comments:</p><p> </p><p> </p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote>

He says that last week, Hunter Hearst Helmsley crossed the wrong man when he left him high and dry without a partner. He points behind him to his stable mates, saying that tonight, he has people with him who have his back......so it's really quite simple.....either Hunter Hearst Helmsley walks his over privileged ass to this ring, so that The Nation can dish out their own style of justice.....or Faarooq will send the Nation to the back and they will drag him down that aisle battered and bloodied and in no condition to make it to In Your House.</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Hunter_zpscdhh4mxd.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Sunny2_zpspvxzuu3d.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Monsoon_zps1s02s6qy.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> It takes a few minutes, but eventually Mr. Helmsley does come out....obviously he's not alone, accompanied as always by the beautiful Sunny.....and SHE'S not alone either, because begrudgingly (by the look on his face) Gorilla Monsoon is with them. Hunter says that this is exactly the reason he walked out of the match last week....because just six days away from finally receiving the Intercontinental Title Shot that he's been waiting for....the WWF insists on placing him in an unsafe working environment.....because that (points at the sea of Nation members in the ring) is a direct threat to my well being.....and I expect you, Gorilla Monsoon, to do something about it.</p><p> </p><p> Monsoon looks nonplused, telling Helmsley that this is professional wrestling....it's not ballet, and he puts himself in an unsafe working environment every time he steps through those ropes, so what exactly does he expect Monsoon to do? Hunter says that Faarooq doesn't want a sanctioned match.....he wants an excuse to stand back and let his gang of thugs jump him like the street rats that they are.....and that.....is an un....safe.....working.....environment.....and I'm saying it slowly....so that even you.....can understand.</p><p> </p><p> Monsoon says that he understands....he understands fully....and it seems like the simplest solution....is for him to book a SANCTIONED match between Hunter and Faarooq right now....so "Mr. Helmsley, I hope you have you're wrestling boots on....because that match is next." Sunny interjects, telling Gorilla that she knows what he's doing....he's trying to weaken the biggest challenge for the WWF Intercontinental Championship, by making him wrestle six days before In Your House, while Ahmed Johnson and Marc Mero get the night off. Again, Gorilla has the perfect answer to that, stating that Ahmed Johnson and Marc Mero, will also square off against each other tonight....."and I'm sure that they won't complain about it as much as you pair of prima-donnas are." Helmsley and Sunny continue to protest until Monsoon has finally had enough, telling them that either Hunter wrestles tonight.....or I guarantee that he won't be placed in any more "unsafe working environments".....because he will be OUT of the fatal four way match at In Your House."</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B+</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p></div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><div></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/FaarooqNoD_zpsqa9rgpd7.jpg</span> VS. <span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Hunter_zpscdhh4mxd.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> Much to the reluctance of Helmsley, Gorilla Monsoon waves out an official and this one is underway. The crowd was a little bit thrown off by the heel vs heel dynamic.....the crowd didn't even bother trying to get behind either man, in fact is was more a case of who could get booed the most. Both competitors had their fair share of the offence....and while the Nation will be barred from ringside Sunday, they are very much a part of this one, ensuring that Faarooq is never on the defence for long.</p><p> </p><p> After managing to wriggle out of one Dominator attempt by the skin of his teeth, Helmsley rolls to the outside to the waiting arms of his manager, who can be heard telling her client to "think about the belt....this doesn't matter." Heeding the words of advice from Sunny, Hunter just throws his hands up in frustration.....and leaves.....walking straight to the back while the Official makes the ten count.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> Faarooq (via Count Out)</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/HBKKliq_zpsphlcapai.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/DieselKliq_zpsebe1dqdn.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/RazorKliq_zpsuigldmqk.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/WaltmanKliq_zpsplkqbets.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Crediblekliq_zps2cagnrfx.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> Following that we head to the back, where the KLiQ has just arrived in unison. They walk through the building and it's clear that they are still in a foul mood following the ending to last weeks show, which saw them beating a hasty retreat. They slam open a door and muscle their way through catering, until Shawn Michaels comes to a dead stop, halting his army with an out stretched hand.....</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Pillman_zpsklslzyf4.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Ringmaster_zpsgjinxsrb.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> ......pointing over to an area where Brian Pillman and Steve Austin are in the middle of a rather heated debate. When the cameras aren't directly on him, Austin is obviously a very different person, because you can see the aggression on his face as he shoves Pillman hard in the chest, telling him "for the last time, let it go....before I whip your ass right here and now.....I've told you before son, you don't want to let the damn genie outta the bottle." The two men notice first the camera, then their audience and their demeanour quickly changes as the KLiQ circle them. Michaels gets in Pillmans face, who doesn't back down an inch, instead he stares down the WWF Champion with a maniacal look in his eyes. Shawn tells Brian that he made the biggest mistake of his life when he hitched his cart to the Hart Foundation's broken down ride. He says that for a so called "Loose Cannon" you would think that he would welcome the chaos that the KLiQ brings.....but if he wants to hang with the Harts.....then we'll treat you like a Hart.</p><p> </p><p> Pillman turns to Austin, telling him that he might want to uncork that genie....but Austin holds his hands up and walks away......"ain't my damn fight son"....just as the KLiQ pounce, using their sheer force of numbers to beat Pillman to the ground. Hall drags Brian to his feet and holds him there, while HBK tunes up the band, delivering a hard Sweet Chin Music to Pillman's jaw. Even that isn't enough to placate the anger of the KLiQ, as Michaels sweeps the plates of food off a nearby table, telling Nash to "break his damn back." Always happy to inflict some damage, Nash grabs a hold of Pillman, gets him in position.....and drives him straight through the wood. Hawk and Animal being all about pure brute strength.....while Matt and Jeff like to utilise their speed and agility.....and they need every bit of that speed and agility here....well, not so much against Bobby Knight, they manage to run rings around him....but their offence comes to a screeching halt once Nelson Knight tags himself in.</p><p> </p><p> Nelson crushes the life out of Matt Hardy, as the Nation takes control....but the pair have obviously picked up that never say die attitude from the LoD, because nothing is keeping them down.....in fact they very nearly picked up the win....and probably would have done, had it not been for the emerging Harris Boys distraction. Matt is in to try and stop the attack, but he's blindsided by the Knights who go to work on him. The Harris boys whip Jeff into the ropes, looking to hit that devastating H-Bomb on the rebound, but Jeff is able to hold on to the ropes, stopping his momentum....just as Matt escapes the clutches of the Knights and the two Hardy Boys both bail to the outside. Hawk and Animal make their way to the ring all four men slide under the bottom rope together. The Legion of Doom go straight for the Nation members, leaving the Harris Boys for the Hardys. Bobby Knight is easily dispatched to the outside....and a huge double clothesline from Hawk and Animal sends Nelson Knight tumbling through the ropes. The Hardys have used the momentum of the L.o.D's arrival to gain the advantage on Ron and Don, with each of them getting whipped into an opposite corner. Matt positions himself on all fours in front of Don and Jeff runs the length of the ring, leaping off his brothers back and hitting a spinning heel kick to the prone Harris brother. They repeat the process on Ron Harris and the twins decide that enough is enough, bailing to the floor alongside the Knights.</p><p> </p><p> The retreating heels vow revenge on the Hardys and the L.o.D, but Hawk and Animal are too busy congratulating Matt and Jeff on a job well done to care.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Hendrix_zpsw5xcdjjf.jpg</span></p><p> <span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Owen%20Foundation_zpsfj2fxdgo.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Bret%20foundation_zpsfcltfqfj.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Bulldog%20Foundation_zpssd4apj29.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/SSteiner_zpsxnleaaze.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/RSteiner_zps6gylvldc.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> We head to the back now, where Dok Hendrix is standing by with the Hart Foundation and The Steiner Brothers. Dok opens by asking about the condition of Brian Pillman. Bret says that Brian is banged up and in a lot of pain thanks to the KLiQ's cowardly gang attack earlier.....and just like that coward Jeff Jarrett, Steve Austin....who USED to be one of Brian's closest friends....just stood by and let it happen.....Bret says that he will deal with Austin on Sunday, but what people don't seem to realise, is that the WWF is under attack. The KLiQ are here to run rough shot over the whole company and they don't care who gets hurt along the way. Instead of standing back and letting that happen all of the WWF Superstars should be banding together, not watching the carnage unfold from a safe distance.....Owen knew that, so did Davey......the Steiner's....hell, even Jerry Lawler stood up and did something......and on Sunday night, my brother Owen is going to hand the KLiQ its biggest blow yet.....because he's going to take that World Wrestling Federation Title, right from around Shawn Michaels smug waist.</p><p> </p><p> Dok asks Owen how his shoulder is holding up after the abuse it took last week. No longer bandaged, Owen says he's spent the last seven days both rehabbing and resting. He rotates his arm saying that he's still in some pain, but not enough to keep him out of that ring.....and no where near enough to stop him from capturing the WWF Championship on Sunday. He says that tonight, Shawn Michaels, Hall....Nash.....they're all going to get a taste of what's in store for them at In Your House.</p><p> </p><p> Dok mentions that Hall and Nash have been very open about their desire to capture Tag Team gold...and this Sunday they finally get that opportunity as they......Hendrix doesn't get to finish his sentence, because Scott Steiner interrupts, shouting that the only thing that Hall and Nash have got the opportunity to do.....is have their asses handed to them by the Steiner Brothers...."see me and my brother, we worked too hard to have the privilege to wear these belts.....and Sunday night....the KLiQ....are going to get the privilege of having my boot.....straight up their ass."</p><p> </p><p> With that the five men walk off, presumably to prepare for their match later this evening, leaving Hendrix to sign off back to Vince, but before the scene ends, we briefly see the lone figure of Jeff Jarrett lurking in the background, watching the Hitman walk away.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B+ </p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Jericho_zpswdgqcakv.jpg</span> VS. <span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Crediblekliq_zps2cagnrfx.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> After the news that he WILL in fact be eligible to challenge again for the Light Heavyweight Championship, Chris Jericho begins the long task of earning a shot tonight.....against the man that arguably cost him the title to begin with, Justin Credible. The match itself is pretty good, although marred with the usual outside interferences that come hand in hand with any match involving the KLiQ, eventually though, Waltman sticks his nose in one too many times and gets evicted from the ringside area by the official, leaving Credible to go it alone. He screams at the official for the decision, but leaves himself wide open, allowing Jericho to catch him with a roll up that he transitions into a Liontamer.....and before you know it, Credible is crying out in submission.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> Chris Jericho</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> C+</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Jericho_zpswdgqcakv.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Goldust_zps20awxhyl.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> Jericho celebrates his victory, but quick as a flash he's attacked by a gold clad assailant......Goldust is back! After laying a beating to Lionheart, Goldust finally hooks him and drives him to the mat with the Curtain Call that leaves Jericho down and out. The Doctor tries again, and again, until finally he slams his note pad down and yells "HEY!" Which finally gets Snows attention. Again he asks Snow if he knows why he's here. Scorpio however is looking for a path back towards the Title he lost at Wrestlemania....and losing to a newcomer isn't the way to get back into the title hunt. </p><p> </p><p> Obviously both men put it all on the line for this one....and while Scorpio is no slouch, Mysterio is clearly the quicker of the two. Kama is there at ringside however, ensuring to make his presence felt any time the officials back is turned....and he WAS involved in the finish....just not the way he intended, because while drawing the attention of the referee, Halushi hit the ring, looking to inflict some more damage on Rey. Scorpio was happy to take the assist, hooking Mysterios arms behind his back so that Hakushi could hit his opponent with another dose of that deadly green mist. Unfortunately for Scorpio, Rey was able to wriggle free of his grasp....and Hakushi's spray only blinds Scorpio. Mysterio sends The White Ninja flying over the top rope and crashing into Kama. Scorpio struggles to his feet and Rey connects with a pinning Hurracanranna which he locks in tight for the three count.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> Rey Mysterio</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> C+</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Hendrix_zpsw5xcdjjf.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Lynn_zpsh2mc53xp.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> With Mysterio still celebrating his victory in the ring, we head to the back where Dok Hendrix is standing by with the man who will challenge for the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship at In Your House, Jerry Lynn. This is a bit of a fluff piece, trying to introduce Lynn to the World Wrestling Federation audience, who outside of seeing him in a handful of matches, aren't overly familiar with Jerry Lynn the man. Lynn talks about what a privilege it is to be able to challenge for this title live on Pay Per View, before speaking about his history with Sean Waltman, telling us that he and Waltman know each other very well, having wrestled each other all over the world, before either of them made it to the WWF....he says he knows what Waltman is going to do before he even does it. Dok says that while that may be the case, he needs to factor in the possibility that the rest of the KLiQ may have an influence in the match. Lynn says that he's taken that into account as well.....but like Chris Jericho proved earlier, even the mighty KLiQ can be stopped. Dok thanks Jerry, before wishing him luck as Lynn walks away. Hendrix is about to send us back to McMahon at commentary, when a huge arm draped over his shoulder as two men walk into view.....</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Bradshaw_zpsyeklbtgo.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Windham_zpsckvmqtgx.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> ......it's Barry Windham and Justin Bradshaw, the Texas Long Riders. They ask Dok, doesn't he have anything to ask them....or are they not important enough for him. Dok stutters over his words for a second as he is engulfed by the mass of the thick Texans, before regaining his composure and asking the Long Riders their thoughts on their upcoming Pay Per View match with the Smoking Gunns....and does the addition of Mr. Perfect serving as an advisor give them any causes for concern? Windham tells Dok that the only concern they have, is how many times they have to hand the Smoking Gunns their asses before they're done with them. Bradshaw says that just like Wrestlemania, you're going to see the Texas Long Riders heading off into the sunset with their hands raised, heading down that victory trail on their way to the WWF Tag Team Titles......and that, Windham says.....will be absolutely perfect.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Cornette_zpsotngxvu5.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Kane_zps4ckfviic.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Mankind_zps1wlg1gdh.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> Back at ringside and the lights go out....usually signalling the arrival of The Undertaker.....tonight however the corner posts explode in fire and when the lights do come back on they cover the arena in a deep red shade signalling the arrival of Jim Cornette, his weapon of mass destruction Kane....and the deranged individual that is Mankind. They climb into the ring, where Cornette, never one to be lost for words, has a microphone in hand.</p><p> </p><p> "Another week, another show.....and more importantly another no-show for your beloved Undertaker.....and yes you can boo, I would boo as well.....because believe me, there is no one more disappointed at the disappearance of the Deadman than us.....see Kane here, Kane is a very patient man.....he waited a long, long time, to finally get his hands on the Undertaker.....and for that to be it.....for the punishment to be over, almost before it even started....it's almost anticlimactic."</p><p> </p><p> He goes on to say that sooner or later, the world will find out the reason that the Undertaker has taken a sabbatical....and it's not to lick his wounds....it's because he doesn't want to look this man Kane in the eye and have to both admit and atone for his sins.....but in the mean time, his boys will have to get their amusement elsewhere, and if that means taking apart these so called Son's of Samoa at In Your House, then so be it. He tells Yokozuna....Kokina....whatever you're calling yourself now.....you may say that myself and Fuji forced you to abandon your heritage and your identity....but we didn't have to try very hard to do it.....when we promised you titles, money, success, you couldn't throw down your grass skirt and coconut quick enough....and now, because things are suddenly not going your way, you're a good old Island Boy again, don't make me laugh....Rikishi, Kokina....by the time these two men are done with you, you're going to be swimming back to that island, as fast as your fat little arms will let you.</p><p> </p><p> With that Kane raises his arms, before violently snapping then down, causing the corner posts to erupt again as we go to commercial.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Ahmed_zpsnxyvo3jj.jpg</span> VS. <span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Mero_zpsmzyk9myf.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> It's match time again, and unlike the earlier match featuring two men that the crowd can't stand in Faarooq and Hunter Hearst Helmsley, here we have two men that the crowd can get behind. With Ahmed being the more familiar of the two however, the fans are definitely behind him more, but that doesn't mean that Mero hasn't built up quite the following in his short tenure here. This is a good honest fought battle, with the two combatants shaking hands before locking up. Johnson is obviously the stronger of the pair, but Mero is deceptively quick and agile considering his size and both men use their strengths to their advantage.....although not one to be out done, Ahmed throws the odd high spot in their too, including a particularly good (as opposed to his usual clumsy) dive over the top rope to the floor that levels Mero. </p><p> </p><p> The two battle back and forth, but in the end Ahmed's power proves the turning point, as when Mero whips him off the ropes and doubles over, looking for a backdrop attempt, Johnson is able to lock him in that position and hits a big Pearl River Plunge for the one, two, three.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> Ahmed Johnson</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> C+</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> Following that contest we have a brief promo package, urging us to buy In Your House, this Sunday, only on Pay Per View.....and when we come back we are treated to the sight of Double J, Jeff Jarrett making his way to the ring.</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Jarrett_zpsk69bwqey.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> Jarrett gets into the ring where he tells the crowd that he's sick and tired of Bret Hart raking his good name through the mud. He says that there is one thing he is not, and that's a coward......he's just a smart man....a very smart man, and a smart man knows when to pick his battles. He asks the audience why, why would he risk his own health and title aspirations.....to save a greasy haired little nobody like Bret Hart? He says that Hart walks around here calling himself the best there is, best there was and the best there ever will be.....but how can he be the best, when Double J, Jeff Jarrett is the greatest? That's the greatest singer, the greatest entertainer.....and THE greatest Wrestler in all of the World Wrestling Federation. He says if you don't believe me, just ask Owen Hart, who spent the last week as a one armed man, courtesy of yours truly.</p><p> </p><p> "Hitman, I know you've got your hands full on Sunday with Steve Austin.....but if you manage to get past him.....and believe me, that's a big if.....I'll be waiting, to show you first hand....that Jeff Jarrett, is scared on nobody."</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B+</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Owen%20Foundation_zpsfj2fxdgo.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/SSteiner_zpsxnleaaze.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/RSteiner_zps6gylvldc.jpg</span> VS. <span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/HBKKliq_zpsphlcapai.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/DieselKliq_zpsebe1dqdn.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/RazorKliq_zpsuigldmqk.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> It's time for the main event of the evening and we get a preview of the two World title matches that we have in store for us at In Your House, when Owen Hart tries to take the WWF Title away from Shawn Michaels....and the Steiner Brothers put the World Tag Team Titles on the line, against Hall and Nash of the KLiQ.</p><p> </p><p> This might be a six man tag match, but there are ten people out there, because Bret Hart and The British Bulldog are out in the corner of Owen and the Steiner's.....and Waltman and Credible are lurking around the corner of the KLiQ. McMahon says that Brian Pillman, may well have been out there tonight as well, had the KLiQ not taken him out earlier in the evening. The match itself is very good, with all six participants giving their all. The KLiQ trifecta managed to isolate Owen, working over the arm that was weakened last week. Michaels spends a lot of time in the match, clearly wanting to weaken his opponent ahead of his title defence, but eventually Hart is able to make the hot tag out to Scott Steiner, who erupts like a madman into action. Both Steiner Brothers are keen to get a hold of Hall and Nash in particular, but any KLiQ member will seemingly do. Scott and Shawn have an exchange, which sees Steiner pressing the WWF Champion over his head, before depositing him over the top rope and down onto Waltman and Credible on the floor. </p><p> </p><p> Owen puts it all on the line, as he climbs the top rope before flying all the way to the outside with a huge cross body onto the huddled group of Michaels, Credible and Waltman, just as Rick Steiner tackles Kevin Nash through the ropes and to the floor. That just leaves the two Scott's in the ring, Hall and Steiner....and its Steiner that comes out on top, connecting with a big Frankensteiner smack bang in the middle of the ring for the one, two, three.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner(s):</strong> Owen Hart & The Steiner Brothers</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/HBKKliq_zpsphlcapai.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/DieselKliq_zpsebe1dqdn.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/RazorKliq_zpsuigldmqk.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/WaltmanKliq_zpsplkqbets.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Crediblekliq_zps2cagnrfx.jpg</span></p><p> <span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Owen%20Foundation_zpsfj2fxdgo.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Bret%20foundation_zpsfcltfqfj.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/Bulldog%20Foundation_zpssd4apj29.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/SSteiner_zpsxnleaaze.jpg</span><span>http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt196/mattfletcher1980/RSteiner_zps6gylvldc.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> The match is over, but the action is far from. The six men continue to brawl, with Bret and Davey pairing off against Waltman and Credible for good measure. The Steiner's battle Hall and Nash all the way up the aisle way, while the Hitman and the Bulldog brawl at ringside with the KLiQ's two newest members. That leaves Owen and Shawn to duke it out in the ring. </p><p> </p><p> The two exchange a series of right hands, which Owen gets the better of, backing Michaels up into the ropes. He whips the WWF Champion off the opposite side of the ring and try's to connect with a clothesline, but Michaels ducks, rebounds off the ropes and connects with his patented flying forearm. Both men go down, but the Heartbreak Kid kips up and backs into the corner where he starts to tune up the band. Hart struggles to his feet and Shawn let's fly with Sweet Chin Music.......but Owen catches his foot......sweeps his other leg out from under him.....and turns Shawn over into the Sharpshooter. </p><p> </p><p> The carnage at ringside continues and with no body there to save him, Michaels starts screaming out in pain, banging on the mat and clearly submitting to the hold, as Owen sits back, pulling the Sharpshooter even tighter as the show fades to black.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> A </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Final Rating:</strong> B</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p></div><p></p>
