WWE 2017: Chaos & Anarchy

(Hey guys, and welcome to my new dynasty. I plan on making this the best I can, with fleshed out but not overly long shows, dirtsheet reports, house show results, and keeping a sense of realism while ultimately trying my hand at repairing WWE's spotty booking and inconsistency. There are a couple notable changes from current WWE. First, there aren’t any divas outside of managers/personalities/etc and I’ve removed the cruiserweight title and done away with a lot of cruiserweight talent. This will let me utilize the remaining guys from that division more cohesively with the rest of the roster. These changes are the only big ones. I hope you guys enjoy!)

It's the Monday after Wrestlemania 33. The show itself was a mixed bag that, while not differing much from the rumored card that came several months prior, did end up delivering in a few key matches and moments. Full results follow. The WWE Universe is primed for an explosive and always-notable Raw following Wrestlemania to see what new storylines will present themselves and where the company is headed.

Randy Orton def. Bray Wyatt for the WWE Championship via pinfall in 20:43.

Orton destroyed Wyatt immediately following his victory at Elimination Chamber. The Viper revealed his ruse the same week on Smackdown, accentuating that he’d infiltrated the Wyatt Family from the outside and broken them apart, leaving Bray helpless and alone. He’d stood back and let Bray peak, and now he’d destroy him once and for all. Bray challenged these claims by pointing out Orton’s unwavering loyalty, but promised that Orton would fall back in line after their Wrestlemania match. The two were able to get inside each other’s heads, often anticipating each other’s moves and creatively countering them. At the end, Orton managed to counter a Sister Abigail into one of his own, and follow it up with an RKO to win the WWE World Title.

Samoa Joe def. 29 other men to win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal in 15:31.

Samoa Joe made his entrance into the ATGRBR known weeks in advance, and despite other entrants dismissing him, he made a point with six eliminations overall. The final four were Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Kane. Everyone teamed up on Braun, though he fought them off and managed to eliminate Kane. Joe and Nakamura managed to wear him down and eliminate him. The fierce rivalry between Nakamura and Joe was re-ignited for the four minutes it took the two to outmaneuver each other to Joe’s victory by throwing Shinsuke over the top rope.

Brock Lesnar def. Goldberg for the WWE Universal Championship via pinfall in 10:34.

After months of frothing at the mouth for an opportunity to destroy Goldberg, Lesnar brought a fire we haven’t seen out of him in years. Often found taunting and toying with his prey, Lesnar was a man with a burning desire to destroy at Wrestlemania 33. To his credit, he survived another round of two spears and a Jackhammer, countering Goldberg’s pin attempt into a Kimura Lock. Ultimately, it was a series of four suplexes and an F-5 that would spell the end of Goldberg’s Universal Championship reign, though it was a hard-fought contest on both ends.

Roman Reigns def. The Undertaker via pinfall in 18:31.

In what was the most controversial match of the night, Reigns and Undertaker did battle in the ring. The Big Dog and The Phenom pushed each other further than either thought they’d have to go, but somehow, Roman Reigns managed to become the 2 in 23-2. Roman smiled as the crowd unanimously booed him, satisfied with the work that he’d done.

Shaquille O’Neal def. Big Show via pinfall in 10:00.

Despite Big Show talking this match up as something he’d take lightly and how dumb Shaq was for agreeing to it, he found himself in a lot of trouble at the start. Show ultimately gained momentum, but after he missed a KO punch, Shaq managed to level Big Show and keep him down for 3.

Seth Rollins def. Triple H via pinfall in 22:46.

Seth Rollins hadn’t been seen on WWE programming since his vicious injury at the hands of Samoa Joe. Triple H, geared up, stepped into the ring and demanded Rollins be counted out to secure his victory. Rollins’ music followed, and he proceeded to wrestle Triple H in what many are calling the match of the night and an instant classic. The two took each other to the limit, including Triple H resorting to a low blow at one point, but it was a final (and 2nd) Pedigree from Rollins, followed by a Curb Stomp that allowed him to keep The Game down for the 3-count.

AJ Styles def. Shane McMahon via submission in 17:26.

AJ Styles blamed everyone (except himself) for his inability to regain the WWE Title at Elimination Chamber, including a public beration of Smackdown GM Shane McMahon. Shane took the insult-laced tirade in stride, and promising AJ Styles that he would get another shot at the WWE Championship if he could beat him at Wrestlemania. Despite the back-and-forth, chaotic nature of the match the two had, AJ ultimately forced Shane to submit to the Calf Crusher, and then beat down Shane after the match to put an exclamation point on their rivalry.

John Cena (w/ Nikki Bella) def. The Miz (w/ Maryse) via submission in 26:47.

Despite the fact that Cena held a victory over Miz at Wrestlemania 27, Miz didn’t seemed phased at all about battling one of his former adversaries again on the grandest stage of them all. Indeed, at a few points during the match, Miz looked to have everything in the bag, but Cena showed why he’s a 16-time World Champion, and ultimately forced Miz to submit to an STF.

Kevin Owens def. Chris Jericho for the WWE United States Championship in 17:20.

After Owens turned on Jericho the night after losing his WWE Universal Championship to Goldberg, he made it clear he wanted the thing his former best friend held closest to him: his US Championship. Despite Jericho’s best efforts (including 2 Codebreakers) Owens persevered and managed to put Jericho away after a Pop-Up Powerbomb.

Baron Corbin def. Dean Ambrose, Apollo Crews, Dolph Ziggler, Kalisto, & Mojo Rawley in a ladder match to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship in 16:36.

The Intercontinental Championship ladder match, seemingly now an annual match taking place at Wrestlemania, opened the show to a great reception. All the Smackdown stars left it in the ring, with a notable ending sequence that saw Corbin and Ambrose trading blows atop the ladder until Corbin shoved Ambrose off, sending him crashing into a ladder propped up against the ropes behind him. Corbin secured the championship and won his first singles championship in WWE.

PRE-SHOW

The Club (Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows) def. American Alpha (Chad Gable & Jason Jordan) via pinfall in 9:54.

In a battle of brand supremacy, both tag champions agreed to settle their differences on the biggest stage of them all. It was a fierce back-and-forth battle until Karl Anderson hit a low blow on Jason Jordan while the ref was distracted with Luke Gallows, allowing The Club to score the pinfall.

Neville def. TJ Perkins, Rich Swann & Jack Gallagher via pinfall in 12:03.

These three cruiserweights brought a fun and physical match to the pre-show. They left no time for things to slow down, with all three men giving it their all the entire match. Neville managed to get Perkins out of the ring and hit a Red Arrow on Jack Gallagher for the victory.

Cesaro, Sheamus, & The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E & Xavier Woods) def. The Shining Stars (Epico & Primo), Rusev, Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas via submission in 16:43.

This match kicked off the pre-show, and while not a spectacle in wrestling, did serve to give each guy a notable spot and helped warm up what portion of the crowd had settled in. Cesaro picked up the victory over Bo Dallas at the end with sharpshooter.

<span style="font-family:Georgia;">-</span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>The Undertaker</strong></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> suffered a dislocated shoulder in his match with Roman Reigns and will be out for 4-6 weeks. It's being reported that it was dislocated from the impact of one of Reigns' spears. -Another notable injury, </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>AJ Styles</strong></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> suffered a sprained PCL and is expected to be out 3-4 weeks, though they may keep him on TV coming off his major win over Shane McMahon.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;">

-It is currently unknown where </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Roman Reigns</strong></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> stands, as despite his rivalry with the Undertaker presenting him in a more traditional heel role, he is still being pushed as a babyface. The smirk after winning last night may indicate Vince is okay with turning him.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;">

-</span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Seth Rollins'</strong></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> appearance at Wrestlemania was surprising, reports say he was only cleared effective Friday. WWE may lighten his in-ring work for the next several weeks to make sure he recovers properly as to not risk re-injury. At this time, WWE is unlikely to continue to push him as a headliner.</span></p>

Brian Kendrick def. Xavier Woods (w/ Big E & Kofi Kingston) via pinfall in 9:41. C-

TJ Perkins def. Bo Dallas via pinfall in 8:04. E+

WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW

Raw kicks off with a video recapping all the moments of last night’s Wrestlemania 33, focusing on Reigns beating Undertaker, Lesnar defeating Goldberg, and Rollins returning to defeat Triple H.

The camera pans around the arena, highlighting the energetic fans jumping up and displaying their signs.

Michael Cole: Welcome, everybody, to Monday Night Raw! After a truly historic Wrestlemania last night, what will tonight hold?

Byron Saxton: Cole, we’ve got a brand new WWE Universal Champion! What will “The Beast” have to say tonight?

Corey Graves: Cole, Saxton, all due respect, but having a new champion is nothing compared to the feat Roman Reigns accomplished last night. He became one of only two men to beat The Undertaker at Wrestlemania!

Michael Cole: Reigns is confirmed to be here, and it’s said he’ll address his victory over Undertaker. But earlier today, Triple H sent out a tweet asking everyone to tune into the opening segment of Raw for a massive announcement!

Triple H’s theme rings through the arena, transitioning the cheers to loud boos from the fans. Triple H appears and makes his way down, dressed in a suit but sporting a black eye from his clash with Seth Rollins last night. He grabs a microphone, but the thunderous chants of “Loser!” and “Seth Beat You!” don’t let up.

Triple H: Keep it up, go ahead.

(Fans Continue To Chant)

Triple H: See, it doesn’t matter that you guys are all hyped up for Seth Rollins. (Loud Pop). What happens now is we move forward. Last night Seth Rollins beat me (Loud Cheer), but what he didn’t do is he didn’t take who I am. Seth Rollins knows who I am better than anyone. He knows that my grudges aren’t ended in a single match. He knows I run the show. He KNOWS I always get what I want.

Triple H paces around the ring, looking out into the audience.

Triple H: Almost 3 years ago, I said the same thing to The Shield as those 3 men stood in this ring on top of the world, and I saw them systematically destroyed. Now . . . now, Seth Rollins will see the same thing happen to him. I’m not going to stop. As of this moment, Seth Rollins, consider—

Rollins makes his way down to the ring, no smile to be found on his face. Orlando comes unglued, cheering on The Architect. Rollins grabs a microphone and comes face-to-face with Triple H.

Seth Rollins: Are you done? ‘Cause I’m hearing a lot of the same old stuff that the mighty ‘Triple H’ spews every time he’s on TV anyway. In case you’re still confused about what happened last night, you LOST! (Pop). I’m not going to listen to your threats in the back. You wanna do this, Triple H?

Rollins sets the microphone down and takes his shirt off, tossing it into the crowd.

Seth Rollins: Let’s do it then! Seth Rollins versus Triple H, match number two!

Triple H shakes his head.

Triple H: You don’t get it, Seth. Even though you won, you’ve still lost. Trust me, by the time this is over, you’ll have nothing. I’m coming after the things you hold dear to your heart. Your dignity. Your pride. Your job. Your life. Watch your back, Seth.

Triple H drops his microphone and exits the ring, leaving Seth standing alone.

Byron Saxton: Harsh words coming from The Game!

Corey Graves: Not harsh, Byron. True. Has Triple H ever not followed through with something he said? If I’m Seth Rollins, I’m worrying about the seeds of doubt Triple H just planted into the back of my mind.

SAMI ZAYN VS. RUSEV (W/ LANA)

Rusev absolutely dominated Zayn for most of the match, even toying with him at spots, much to the audience’s disdain. Zayn managed to counter a few times, but his momentum never lasted. Rusev was caught off-guard when he was taunting to the crowd, allowing Zayn to score with the roll-up and get the 3 count. 11:42

Backstage we see Cesaro & Sheamus warming up for action. Saxton reminds us that tonight, Cesaro & Sheamus will tag to face both The Club & The Shining Stars!

C-

==

We cut backstage to see a black SUV pull up to the arena. Out steps Roman Reigns, fitted in a leather jacket and sporting a gym bag. The crowd boos heavily.

Corey Graves: There he is, the most controversial man in WWE at the moment!

Michael Cole: Corey, of course referring to the fact that Roman Reigns became one of only two men in history to defeat Undertaker at Wrestlemania.

Byron Saxton: What will Roman have to say tonight?

C+

==

R-TRUTH (W/ GOLDUST) VS. BRAUN STROWMAN

R-Truth stood up to Braun in the beginning, and even tried to get him to dance alongside him, but once Braun’s amusement was finished it was game over. Goldust could only watch from the outside as his partner was utterly demolished by Strowman. 2:08

D+

==

Following the match, Strowman picks R-Truth up and throws him outside the ring. He grabs a microphone, clearly upset.

Braun Strowman: I’m done with these games . . . I want a real opponent . . . and I want them now!

Braun drops the microphone and puts his hands up.

Big Show’s theme hits, and the crowd cheers as he makes his way down the ramp, talking trash to Strowman. He climbs over the top rope, and the two come face to face, screaming at each other. Strowman picks Show up and backs him into a corner. Big Show replies by striking Strowman in the face. The two trade blows until Show clotheslines Braun over the top tope, sending him reeling. The fans cheer in unison.

C-

==

Backstage, we see Seth Rollins coming out of the locker room. Stephanie McMahon enters the view. (Loud Booing). She seems happy.

Stephanie McMahon: Hope I’m not catching you at a bad time, Seth.

Seth Rollins: After I beat your husband last night, how could I be having a bad time? (Pop)

Stephanie’s smile wanes, business seems to overcome her.

Stephanie McMahon: I’m not here for a social visit, Seth. Listen, I hope you didn’t have any plans, because I just spoke with Mick Foley. You’ve got a match tonight.

Seth Rollins: Yeah? Who against?

Stephanie motions to Rollins’ knee.

Stephanie McMahon: Oh, just the same man who took you out of commission before . . . Samoa Joe. (Pop)

Corey Graves: Samoa Joe versus Seth Rollins TONIGHT!

Michael Cole: It looks like things are already beyond personal between Triple H and Seth Rollins. This is the same man who took Rollins out for months the last time the two crossed paths!

C+

==

NEVILLE VS. DARREN YOUNG (W/ BOB BACKLUND)

Neville and Young managed to have a very back-and-forth match here, though the audience wasn’t invested in it. Young made for quick roll-ups and covers on Neville, trying to catch him off-guard. Neville always seemed one step ahead, though, and sealed his victory over Young with a Red Arrow that he used the ropes for leverage on to keep Young down. 11:40

C-

==

Following the match, Backlund helps Young up in the ring. Titus O’Neil’s theme hits, and Titus comes out onto the stage with a microphone. He mocks Young’s loss, questioning why he’s in the WWE and why he’s looking to a “fossil” like Backlund to help him. Titus promises that as long as Young sticks with him, people will keep changing the channel or going to the bathroom when he’s on.

C-

==

We see Mick Foley on his cell phone in his office. In walks Kevin Owens, US Title displayed proudly on his shoulder. (Mixed Pop). Mick abruptly ends his call and puts his attention on Kevin.

Mick Foley: Kevin, how are you?

Owens intensifies his stare at Foley.

Kevin Owens: Mick, I’m your new US Champion. Why don’t you address me with a little respect?

Mick Foley: Kevin, I don’t—

Kevin Owens: No, no no. No Kevin. Call me Mr. Owens, first off.

Mick seems resistant and annoyed.

Mick Foley: Mr. Owens, I—

Kevin Owens: Much better. See? You can teach an old dog new tricks. Now, shut up and let me tell you why I’m here. I took this (Kevin Pats His US Championship) off of my old buddy Chris Jericho last night. I never got my rematch from Fastlane for the Universal Championship. I want it, and I want it now. (Pop).

Mick laughs.

Mick Foley: Kevin, congratulations on the victory, but there’s another man who has a rematch too. His name is Goldberg. He’s the man who beat you for your title at Fastlane.

Kevin Owens: Mick, shut up. I’m the US Champion. I am the longest-reigning Universal champion. You’re a washed-up has-been who’s lucky to have a job. Make it happen.

Mick Foley: Kevin, I’ll see what I can do, but you’re also going to be required to defend that United States Championship. I can’t just overlook that.

Owens smiles.

Kevin Owens: Oh, I have every intention to. I will be the first-ever man to be both US Champion AND Universal Champion!

B+

THE CLUB (KARL ANDERSON & LUKE GALLOWS) VS. CESARO & SHEAMUS VS. THE SHINING STARS (PRIMO & EPICO)

This was a fast-and-furious affair that never let up or slowed down. Cesaro in particular looked incredibly dangerous every time he was in the ring, including at one point laying out both teams that opposed him single-handedly. However, it wouldn’t be enough to secure victory for himself & Sheamus. The Club showed how crafty they are at the end, waiting for both Sheamus & Cesaro to fully take out The Shining Stars, and then launching Sheamus to the outside and nailing Cesaro with a Magic Killer to secure the victory. 14:46

C-

==

After the match, Cesaro and Sheamus get applause as Sheamus helps Cesaro up. Suddenly, he blasts Cesaro with a Brogue Kick! The fans boo as Sheamus throws Cesaro to the outside and hits him with a White Noise! Sheamus beats and breaks two chairs over Cesaro’s back, completely obliterating him. “You Look Stupid!” chants fill the arena as Sheamus spits on Cesaro and taunts.

Michael Cole: My God, what was that? Sheamus has lost it! He’s turned on Cesaro!

Corey Graves: More like he’s eliminating the weak half of the team!

Byron Saxton: Did you see Cesaro in that match? He was on fire!

Corey Graves: Those chair shots sure put the fire out, didn’t they, Saxton?

C+

==

Backstage, we see Neville bump into Jack Gallagher. Jack apologizes, but tells Neville he couldn’t help but wonder why he had to cheat against Darren Young. Neville shoves Gallagher back and insults his nationality in response. Security force breaks the two up, but Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, and Big E find their way into the picture. They ask the two why they feel like they have to fight it out . . . when they could dance. The three dance to chants of “New Day Rocks!” as Neville and Gallagher go their separate ways.

C

==

SETH ROLLINS VS. SAMOA JOE

During Rollins’ entrance, Joe ambushes him from backstage! Joe beats Rollins down on the stage, and slams his head into the floor! Joe picks Rollins up and powerbombs him into the minitron display, laying Rollins out! Joe taunts as the fans jeer him. Medical rushes out to attend to Rollins.

B-

==

BIG CASS (W/ ENZO AMORE) VS. JINDER MAHAL

Mahal got very little offense in this one. Enzo cheered his buddy to a relatively quick victory with Big Cass hitting the Empire Elbow for the victory.

D+

==

Enzo grabs a microphone, and taunts to the crowd as they cheer loudly for Enzo & Cass.

Enzo Amore: Eh? Eh? Not bad?

The crowd cheers loudly.

Enzo Amore: I tell you what, Orlando! Enzo and Big Cass are on FIRE! (Pop). And you know what? We’re ready to take it to the next level, baby!

Cass grabs the microphone.

Big Cass: Orlando, you know EXACTLY what Enzo means!

Enzo grabs the microphone back, and smiles, nodding at the crowd.

Enzo Amore: Orlando, Cass and I are officially ready to add a little . . . bling to our attire, know what I mean? Cass and I have jewels, we got clothes only certified G’s can wear . . . but we need a little . . . GOLD! (Loud Pop)

The Club’s theme hits, interrupting Enzo & Cass’s antics. The tag champions come out onto the stage, titles worn proudly over their waists.

Luke Gallows: Enzo, Cass, you guys have huge egos.

Karl Anderson: If you want a shot at these (Karl Pats Title) then you gotta earn it. You’re not cutting in line, or getting it for free.

Enzo & Cass exchange glances.

Enzo Amore: Ey . . . what do we have here, Cass? I think I know what we got. Orlando, you know what we got?! We got . . . a couple of haters! (Loud Pop)

Karl Anderson seems visibly annoyed.

Karl Anderson: Enough, you two idiots! You’re never coming close to this!

Anderson rips off his title and holds it high as the fans boo.

US CHAMPIONSHIP

KEVIN OWENS © VS. CHRIS JERICHO

This was a hard-fought, back-and-forth match. Both men gave it their all, and there were several tremendous exchanges that had the fans on their feet. At one point, Jericho went for a Codebreaker, but Owens reversed it into the Walls Of Jericho, nearly forcing Jericho to submit to his own finisher. Jericho managed to counter a Pop-Up Powerbomb into a Codebreaker towards the end, and if Owens’ foot hadn’t been under the ropes, Jericho would’ve re-captured his US Championship. Ultimately, Jericho went for a Lionsault, but Owens rolled out of the way and sent Jericho into the ropes, nailing him with a Pop-Up Powerbomb to secure the 3 count. 20:19

Roman Reigns makes his way down to the ring to a chorus of boos. He only looks around at all the fans and grabs a microphone. The booing drowns him out for a minute.

Roman Reigns: Boo all you want, it doesn’t change what happened last night. (Louder Booing). See, I get it. You guys are mad that I beat the Undertaker. (Booing). I’m an Undertaker fan myself, so I can relate. But you guys are missing the big thing here.

Reigns points at the ring.

Roman Reigns: This? This is now MY yard.

The fans’ booing is relentless.

Roman Reigns: I promised I’d address what’s next for me, and this is it. Defeating The Undertaker is something that you can never take from me. But I’m not stopping there. See, funny enough, the only other man that has beaten The Undertaker at Wrestlemania is a man that I have unfinished business with . . . and he happens to be Universal Champion. So Brock Lesnar, I—

Brock Lesnar, along with Paul Heyman, makes his way down to the ring. He has his Universal Championship displayed proudly on his shoulder. Heyman grabs a microphone.

Paul Heyman: Not to cut you off, Mr. Reigns, but I believe the WWE Universe is due an introduction of their BRAND-NEW, WWE UNIVERSAL CHAMPION, the beast, the conquerer, the ORIGINAL blemish in The Undertaker’s streak, BROCK LESNAR! (Loud Pop).

Reigns claps in sarcasm.

Roman Reigns: It’s a nice speech, Paul. Now I want my match.

Heyman laughs.

Paul Heyman: You know, it’s funny you mention that. See, we’ve received word backstage that Mr. Bill Goldberg didn’t even show up tonight to confront Brock about his rematch. Mr. Reigns, nobody is stupid enough to challenge Mr. Lesnar willingly. Mr. Lesnar ERASED the only blemish from his otherwise-unstoppable record. He took Goldberg OUT, hurt him so badly, scared him so HORRIBLY that he didn’t even show up tonight. Now you, after doing what Brock Lesnar did 3 years ago, now you want a shot at Mr. Lesnar’s title? The irony of it, Mr. Reigns, is that the fact remains: you couldn’t beat Brock Lesnar 2 years ago at Wrestlemania, and you can’t do it now. (Pop).

Reigns shrugs.

Roman Reigns: You know, that’s funny, Paul. I remember I had your boy off his feet, and he was about to get his ass popped with another spear when Seth Rollins cashed in. So no, I didn’t beat ‘Mr. Lesnar.’ But your little puffed-up action figure didn’t beat me either.

Brock moves towards Reigns, but Paul steps between then.

Paul Heyman: Easy, Brock . . . Mr. Reigns, you’re making a terrible mistake. I truly cannot believe you’re this shortsighted. Do you enjoy beatings? Do you enjoy ASS-KICKINGS? That’s all that awaits you if you take on Brock Lesnar. I can’t wrap my head around it. I cannot believe anyone would be as suicidal as you are to request a match with BROCK LESNAR!

Suddenly the lights die. The fans cheer loudly. All remains dark for a moment until . . .

Finn Balor's theme hits!

The fans come unglued as Balor’s music hits! The lights come back on, and he’s standing in the ring between Reigns and Lesnar! He exchanges glances with both of them! The fans have lost control!

Byron Saxton: It’s Finn Balor!

Michael Cole: Guys, the first-ever Universal Champion! He beat Seth Rollins at Summerslam but then had to vacate the title!

Corey Graves: Looks like he wants it back!

Byron Saxton: What does this mean?

Corey Graves: We’ve got both Roman Reigns and Finn Balor making bold declarations at a title shot with Brock Lesnar!

Michael Cole: Finn Balor is back, ladies & gentlemen!

<strong>Wrestling Observer Reporter</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">RAW</span></strong></span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;">

-It is being reported that WWE is building towards a </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Seth Rollins vs. Samoa Joe</strong></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> match at the next WWE Raw Pay-Per-View, Payback. The decision was reportedly made between both Vince McMahon and Triple H as they don't want to slingshot Rollins back into the main event so quickly after his injury. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;">

-</span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Finn Balor</strong></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> is expected to pick right up where he left off, heading straight back into the main event. Rumors are scarce, but it seems WWE will either go with </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Brock Lesnar vs Finn Balor</strong></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;">, or </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Brock Lesnar vs. Finn Balor vs. Roman Reigns</strong></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> for the Universal Championship at Payback. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;">

-</span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho</strong></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> stole the show at Raw, and it is being debated to let them have a third match at Payback instead of moving on to a new feud. A rumored feud was that Rusev would start feuding with Jericho and face him in a career vs career match at Payback.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;">

</span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong><span style="color:#4169E1;">Smackdown</span></strong></span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;">

-</span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Tye Dillinger's</strong></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> debut got a great reception in the audience, however </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Vince McMahon</strong></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> doesn't feel that Tye Dillinger was particularly impressive in his segment or his match, and possibly made both worse. It is expected that Dillinger will be intertwined in the Intercontinental Championship picture going forward.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;">

-WWE seems to be debating putting the WWE Championship back on </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Bray Wyatt</strong></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> as soon as Backlash, the next WWE pay-per-view. Though it'll be a quick switch, Wyatt continues to be incredibly over with the crowd and has found a permanent home in the main event picture. Less confirmed rumors also hint at a double turn between </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Wyatt</strong></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> and </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Orton</strong></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;">, though this would possibly damage Orton, who only turned face a few months ago.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;">

</span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong><span style="color:#006400;">Other</span></strong></span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;">

-</span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong><span style="color:#4169E1;">Smackdown</span></strong></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> beat Raw in viewership this week, coming in at 20,220,900. </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Raw</span></strong></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> meanwhile had 18,198,540. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;">

-It's rumored WWE may be interested in bringing back </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Ted DiBiase Jr.</strong></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> and </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Kurt Angle</strong></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> for in-ring roles. Angle has not been seen since the Hall Of Fame ceremony, despite firm rumors he was to take a GM-like role.</span></p>
