Can a raven rise from the ashes?

I asked the question to my local bartender a couple days after thanksgiving. Everyone in the wrestling world now knows me has Raven Robinson thanks to my tenure has the face of the USPW women's division, though I think Alicia Strong and the fans of the "Strong-hold" would disagree with that statement. I never thought I would have reached the highs of mainstream women's wrestling glory, but through it all I was able to make great relationships, have great matches, and achieve a career I believe some women would be a bit envious of.

"The 2/3 falls match against Alicia Strong at _____ will always go down has my favorite women's match of all time". Gary said with a delighted grin on his face.

But the sun always sets....

Time always moves on

And death.....death is always a given

We're sorry but we feel that is finally time for us to move on from you Raven....We are looking to move the division into a new direction especially with the new management that has come in. No hard feelings though Raven?"

"No, not at all....."

The words still stuck in my head. I always figured I would retire has a USPW superstar, have one last run with the title, and be inducted into their hall of fame has the first women wrestler. But as my uncle would say, "There is a difference between reality and expectations!"

Is 40 really the new 30? I am on the wrong side of 40 but I still feel like I could go and have a good match with anyone. I still fee like I can have a good match against any kind of style. Brawling, Technical, High spots, you name it Raven Robinson can still do it.

"I think Raven Nightfall can still do it". Cat said, with a determined look on her face has she raised her head from a ledger she was reading.

I slowly walked around the offices in a dreamlike trance, stopping to look at the posters on the wall of past events, pictures of great matches, special moments that this promotion had given the wrestling world, and stopped right in front of the pyramid of "Past Alumni". I made my way up from the bottom of the pyramid and stopped at the top where it had a picture of myself.

AAA- Angel Athletic Association.

The first American women based wrestling promotion in the USA. And in June of this year, it will be 20 years since the promotion doors opened.

Catherine paced around her office spinning her head towards me every time she would mention a goal of hers that she wants to take this promotion that is so near and dear to her heart.

"AAA has the ability to be so much more. We can eventually take this promotion beyond a regional promotion and eventually take it national. I have a 10 year plan Raven and really put a women's wrestling promotion on the map. I'm thinking California, New York, Dallas, Miami. I want to hold events out there. I want to make the AAA Femme Fatale championship a true world championship and hold events in Japan and England. AAA can be the end all be all of great WRESTLING period."

"A 10 year plan huh?" I asked her, raising my eyebrows. There was no way my body was going to hold up for another 10 years so my curiosity was now def. tingling as to why she called me up to her office. Does she see my has the centerpiece of this plan? Am I just here so I can be the gatekeeper for the younger talent that she thinks are going to be the faces of the company? Maybe she just wants me here on a one-off autograph signing session to boost merchandise sales.....

My head was racing in many different directions.....

"Cat, the position I am in I am ready to do whatever I can do to help. And between me and you my financial situation is not in the best, all those years at the top had me spending and investing in things that had no real return. I just need a couple of years to get me back to where I need to be...." I said, very embarrassed to even look her in the eye.

Cat took a deep breath and then lowered her head a bit to meet me at eye level. "I want to make you head booker. Cherry thought she could do the job but she is more and more developing outside interests has she gets ready for her eventual retirement and doesn't want that to interfere with her duties her at AAA. Plus, it would give her more time to guide the younger girls on the roster so they can be the next "BOMB"." Cat ended the statement mimicking Cherry Bomb like no one else could.

"I would do it Raven," Cat proclaimed with her thumbs pointed at her chest. "But there is no way I can oversee this company and book the promotion at the same time. I know some owners like their hands everywhere but not me, its too much. I know you have a good mind for the business Raven and I think you'll do great......"

"Do you want the job?" "Do you want the job?" "Do you want the job" played in my head has Cat's face faded from view.....

Staring into the mirror of my hotel room I began to splash water in face....again and again.....

The meeting went better than I could have ever expected. Not only was I offered a 3 year contract to wrestle, made head booker, and will be making the most money on the roster.....though that was something I will not be letting the other girls in the locker room know.....knowing how my tenure was going in USPW I began to really follow the product and knew the story lines and booking direction that the company was going in has they headed towards the biggest show in the history. I was hoping to keep the boat in the right direction

There was a knock on the door. A knock I wasn't expecting as I didn't think they would be here until tomorrow morning but maybe they had heard the news. I wouldn't put it past them because I'm sure their "long reach" can grab a hold of information anywhere now in this world.

"Agent Smith, so nice to see you." I said opening the door to the room, condescension dripping from tone.

"Raven." Agent Smith barked. "Check in time was two hours ago. How did it go?"

"Went better than expected. I was offered a contract, head booker, and put in charge of hiring and firings that are within reason." I retorted.

"So you didn't even have to grease up Catherine to get her to hire Agent Angela Bruin (Eve Runcord). That is great. Because you know the deal you have with the agency. If you fail to do what you have to do on your terms there will be a jail cell waiting in your future. The Taxman always gets his man....or his woman....."

OOC: Ive started and stopped two dynasties in the past due to computer issues but now that I've finally taken care of that with a new purchase and ontop of things at work I am going to try my hand at this again. I am a massive fan of women's wrestling and the C-Verse version of it and hope to do it justice like some of my fav dynasties that are on this forum are doing right now. Well that could have went a little better.....

There will always be a apprehension when a new sheriff arrives in town. I had heard that's what some of the girls on the roster where calling me, "the new sheriff". I wanted to make it clear to all of them that my intentions are good and I all want is to continue to drive this company in the right direction and get the girls the best exposure and talent development they can achieve.

Black Widow, a woman I have never really seen eye to eye, was having a discussion about me to Sarah Taylor and Christy Higgins and a fight broke out between the two. Well, I wouldnt really call it a fight, but more of a beat down has Widow apparently did not like the good things Sarah had spoken about me and how I was an "idol" of hers etc.

Now, I had all the intentions to fire her right there on spot after I heard the incident, but with our first show a week away, there was no way I would be able to find a suitable replacement to be our road agent, which was already in the pipe lines....

The first phone call I made after telling Eve Runcord that a contract had been faxed to her "office" for her signature was to Vixxen.

The wheels were already turning in my head for storylines and I wanted Vixxen to come back and be an integral part of an angle which we planed to sow the seeds of very shortly. Unfortunately, Vixxen did not want any on-camera role and all she wanted to do was be a road agent. And there was no way I was going to convince her otherwise.

The day after Christmas Angel Athletic Association held its annual tryout Camp and seminar to find potential signees to sign to the Cat's Lair. Some of the graduates from the Lair had come through the camps and would have never gotten an AAA opportunity without it. The all-day camp was very fruitful for myself and Cat has there were two stand out female competitors that were offered contracts to the main roster right out of the gate has they showed amazing potential.

Maria Guest, who is a very good technical sound wrestler and Sandra Shine, who is a very good all round high flier. The plan is to team them up in a tag team and help bolster out tag division has that is one of the weakest point about the company.

I treated Cat to a dinner at her favorite eating establishment, "Big Belly Burger", and after she was full and happy and laid out my plans for the first card of 2016

Woohoo, sincerenoble is back, with AAA.

Looking at the roster board you have 14 Faces (17 Faces minus SMY and J-RO who tend get snatched up by USPW, and Lady Liberty is normally cut due to bad attitude and an expensive contract) and only 12 Heels, so I assume that there are further signings to be made.

That's a very ambitious Cat Quine, but at least you have a pretty clear path to Cult size barring raids from USPW and NOTBPW.

Comments: The stipulation is what pushed this over the top for me. J-Ro and SMY are prime targets for the national companies, so having a storyline title shot for Nadia or Wade in your back pocket wouldn't hurt.

#1 Contender Match For AAA Femme Fatale Championship

Jaime Quine vs Cherry Bomb

Comments: Similar to my comments for a couple of the other matches down the card, I can see either wrestler here winning, but Cherry vs SMY sounds like a tremendous match. Jaime can bide her time and get her win back down the road, but if she wins here, I think she's on a rocket ship to the top.

Comments: Talia can be big for you, so I'll say Christy becomes her first victim. It'll be interesting to see who you set up as the face to finally take down Quinzel.

Comments: As with Quine vs Cherry, I think this will come down to how fast you want to push Paige. Here, though, I think Croft needs the win more, and I've always seen DD as more of the veteran whose main purpose is to lose to the younger, up-and-coming stars.

Tracy Brendon vs Steffi Chee

Comments: Tracy is a veteran, but depending on her destiny roll, she could have a lot of years left to go before she starts to decline. A victory here would be a good way of setting her up for a new storyline.

Good Lookin Bunny vs Zoe Ammis & "The Mistress Of The DDT" Steph Blake

Comments: It's going to be real hard for kingjames' version of Steph Blake to not influence my pick here. That said, there are two established stars in this match, and they are on the same team. Goodlooks might be something should she split with Bunny, but until then, I see her team taking the loss.

Sarah Taylor Vs Selina Svelte

Is it weird that this is the match I'm most excited to see the result of? In kingjames' and my diaries, Sarah has never come close to a win. She has a lot of potential, so do you set her up as a new star, or is she in for a year or two of learning? With Selina being further along than Taylor in her development, I'll say Svelte gets the win.

The first show in 2016 for AAA opens on the announce desk with our hosts, AAA lead annoucer and AAA Hall of famer Catherine Quine. They wish everyone who has purchased this show a happy new year. Jim Lou makes a joke saying that the has already broke a resolution which was to keep to a strict financial budget, but he went to http://www.AAAwrestling.com and purchased the 2015 box set. They run down tonights card and debate if the A-List can finally defeat thier long time rivals in Joanne Rodriguez & Sara Marie York. They also reflect on if the "Angel of Dark" Raven Nightfall will ever answer The Devil's Daughter cryptic messages issued to her for all of 2015.

If One Of Us Wins....We Both Win

and the fans erupt in joy as she comes out flanked by her tag team partner for tonight and fellow fan favorite Joanne Rodriguez. Sara wants to thank the fans for coming out to the first AAA show of the new year and making it a sell out. "You guys are the reason I do this, you guys are the reason I fight so hard, so I can be the champion for you.....the people".

Joanne Rodriguez agrees with Sara and even though she wants to be champion again one day she concedes that Sara has been a great champion unlike their opponents tonight, the A-List.

"Demelza and Nadia walk around here like they own the place, that their mere presence should make every single wrestler back there in that dressing room bow." J-Ro shouts with determination. "Me and Sara have been going back and forth with you too but tonight we want to put an exclamation point on the fact that it doesn't matter how much money you have, where you've wrestled before, how much stroke you can achieve with the board. When it comes down to pure SKILL. Sara and myself and just better than you!"

That last comment did not go down well...

"I'm sorry to disappoint you two losers but this thing of ours doesn't end until that Femme Fatale championship title is off your waist," Demelza says with clenched fists motioning to her Sara Marie York.

Demelza goes on to say that without herself and Nadia this promotion would be nothing of has-beens, losers, and woulda-coulda-shouldas and that the real reason this dump of a place is sold out is that these miserable people can get some joy out of their pathetic lives by catching, if just for 20 mins, a glance of real superstars.

Demelza, looking pleased with herself, soaks in the chorus of boos that rains down upon her after her last statement.

Nadia steps forward. "Thats why we're goosing the contracts like they would say up in......well you two would know nothing about seeing offers and contracts fly your way......thats why we're upping the stakes."

Nadia challenges Sara Marie York to put a potential AAA Femme Fatale championship title shot on the line in tonight's main event tag match.

"Whichever one of us pins either of you, they'll get a title shot."

Sara Marie York, not even allowing Nadia to come to a complete stop with her last statement accepts the challenge.The fans like that and so does the A-List who both then leave the ring looking rather pleased with themselves, especially Cat Jemson who cant stop patting Nadia Snow on the back.

In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Good Lookin' Bunny continued to move into prime contention for a AAA Tag Team Championship Title shot by defeating the team of Steph Blake and Zoe Ammis in an hotly contested match which saw a ref bump and a missed pinfall count when Steph Blake hit her devastating sling-shot DDT finisher on Jessica Bunny 12:20 when Katherine Goodlooks defeated Zoe Ammis by pinfall with a Pretty Fly.

After the match, an irate Steph Blake had to be constrained from destroying head referee Dwight Kumas

"You've traveled the world Steffi, wrestled countless matches and countless different opponents and that has gotten you nowhere. Compared to someone like me you are nothing. I waited so long to finally go one on one with you and was disappointed.......not in yourself....but in myself for ever thinking highly of someone like you!"

Tracy hits another Idaho Crunch on Steffi and leaves the ring to a shower of boos.

In a match that turned into an insane brawl it was Paige Croft who picked up the victory, unknowingly. The Devil's Daughter, who had nailed Paige Croft (and the referee) with her finisher, Going Down Below and looked sure to pickup the victory, was attacked by a returning Raven Nightfall. Raven Nightfall planted DD with a Nightfaller and left the ring through the crowd, not smiling, not looking angry, completely void of emotion.

Paige Croft defeated Devil's Daughter in 13:48 by pinfall following interference from Raven Nightfall.

This was a brutal hard-hitting wrestling match that saw a table come into theh ring, as Jaime leaped off the top rope and planted Cherry Bomb through the announce table. But it was not enough to overcome Cherry Bomb who continues her march to the Femme Fatale title.

Winner: Cherry Bomb defeated Jaime Quine in 14:59 by pinfall with a Cherry Bomb.

During the match, Demelza Wade motioned for Cat Jemson to assist her in inflicting damage that might have secured Wade the pinfall over a fallen Joanne Rodriguez but Jemson seemed to be feigning an injury.

After the match, Nadia and Cat celebrated in each others arms as the fallen babyfaces looked on vowing to give them their receipts at a later date

Winner: The A-List defeated Joanne Rodriguez and Sara Marie York in 20:01 by pinfall.

I'll drink to that.......

I taped glasses with Catherine as we sat down to go over my first show in charge of the booking. The fan feedback was amazing with the show going down really well with our fans.

"It was the best show we've had in a long time Raven, i must admit." Catherine said wiping the remnants of her vodka tonic drink. "I know she is my step sister, but Jaime really put on a good performance last night."

Of course you would say that....

"Jaime has improved by leaps and bounds from the last time I saw her in person. The future of AAA is looking mighty bright." I laughed as I motioned for the bartender to bring us another round.

Catherine continued to run down the rest of the card and how she felt the matches went down and complimented all the girls that made it onto the show as none of them took the night off and gave it thier all. Perhaps the prospect of me now being in charge of creative put a "pep in their step" as they jockeyed to show their ability and their worthiness of receiving a push down the line.

"I see you're looking to expand the roster even more Raven," Catherine said while looking at her phone. "Now Ive seen Charity Sweet in action and myself and Anne had been keeping tabs on her but Lauren Richards...."

Charity Sweet, a woman with looks to sex appeal to die for, a great work ethic, and an "it-quality" you cant teach to just anyone was offered a contract which she signed for yesterday. It was always said about her that with the right gimmick or angle she could be shot into the stratosphere.

Lauren Richards, a wrestler who has only being training for a year but who Hell Monkey swears is the next big thing in women's wrestling. I had watched tapes of her wrestling on the indepedent scene and she def. has all the in-ring skills to potentially blossom into a real usefull member of the AAA roster.

"Did she just accept the contract offer". I asked Catherine, knowing thats what she must be reading in her phone."

Catherine replied with her yes and that she trusts my judgement on the hiring side of things but something was sitll bothering her and i kenw what it was.

"The name, yes. I know. She's is going to change it to Laura Flame......"Red Hot" Laura Flame."

Catherine shook her head in agreement.

I took the dinner/meeting/roster hiring evaluation/girls night out in another direction. We ha spke about plans to expand the promotion but funds were going to be needed in the chest before that could happen. We settled on trying to run two shows a month quarterly to see how our budget would hold up.

Catherine leaned over to me and showed me a potential DVD cover for the next event which would have Cherry Bomb on the cover. It looked amazing and showed Cherry posing in one of her vintage psychotic poses.

The cover should def. catch the eyes of potential buyers

And speaking of catching the eye............

"You were right Raven. Alot of the reviews on the show def. noticed our upgrade in production values. The new entrance way flanked by the new lighting, the fantastic new logos on the aprons, and the screens for the videos really made a difference."

I offered my hand to her to slap me an "I told you so" handshake which she laughed it off.

"Spend money to make money, got it." Cat joked.

Little did she know though I had a birdie in my ear.......

I was content with how the production values were. I thought it added to the charm of AAA but when the "AGENCY" had received word that CZCW had increased their production values......

"Well, you got no choice. Convince her Robinson. Convince her now!" Agent smith barked at me on the phone before introducing me to a dial-tone.

AAA returns to the Washington State Gymnasium on January 15th 2nd 2016. They say money is the root of all evil and the driving force which sends many on thier way down to hell. They havent met the women of AAA with Championship Gold in their sights........

I am super psyched to see another AAA diary It'll be fun to see the divergent evolutions from a similar starting point. Happy to see that - no matter the universe - Jaime Quine and Cherry Bomb seem destined to be on a collision course. Raven Robinson/Nightfall is an intriguing pick for your user character. She's in many ways in a similar place as Cherry Bomb - long-time AAA talent who went to USPW, coming back to AAA in the latter stages of her career. So long as their bodies hold up, Cherry Bomb vs. Raven could be a massive success, given their respective USPW-based popularity.

Comments: Assuming you haven't been raided by USPW or NOTBPW, I think York takes this. Cherry vs Jaime doesn't really need the belt, and while I could see Snow becoming champion, I think the money match is in SMY vs Wade for the belt.

Comments: Got to say, this is pretty much a toss up. After losing at the last show, Blake can probably use the win more, but I think Brazzle can be just as big of a star for you as Steph can, and if you lose J-Ro and SMY to a raid, you are going to need some more strong faces.

Comments: Wade kept strong for an eventual feud with either SMY or Snow.

They welcome everybody to the show and hope they are bearing this cold weather out here in washington state because the action that the women of AAA is going to bring to them tonight should heat them up. "The tempature outside is cold but you can best rest assured the ladies tonight are going to heat up this gym with thier fire, determination, and passion." Catherine shouts out. They run down tonight's card and give their thoughts on tonight's Main Event Femme Fatale Tripple Threat Championship match between the champion, everyone fav. girl next door Sara Marie York, and her two opponents, Cherry Bomb and Nadia Snow.

Sara thanks the fans for the cheers and loves that eventhough she and Joanne came up short at Pretty Amazing, due to Cat Jemson always sticking her head into their affairs, that tonight she will prevail and walk out of this event has the AAA Femme Fatale Champion

"Cherry Bomb won her #1 contendership for the title at Pretty Amazing and Nadia Snow cheated her way into a title shot tonight too. Sara Marie York doesn't run from any challenges. I am a fighting champion and want to prove that I am the best wrestler here in AAA. So I went to the board and asked them to make a triple threat match tonight."

The crowd cheers for the announcement of the main event. Sara Marie York shakes her head in agreement of their applause.

"But to be the best, Ive got to beat the best......."

Sara turns to Joanne Rodriguez who has backing up Sara's words with head shakes and claps.

"J-RO, I know how tuff of a competitor you are...from personal experiences....the matches we've had in the past have been classic encounters. I asked the board to make tonight a Fatal 4 Way match. Me, Cherry Bomb, Nadia Snow, and J-RO. One walks out of this gym tonight with the most prestigious championship in women's wrestling. The Femme Fatale Championship. What do you say J-Ro?"

J-Ro looks to the crowd to help her with the answer but there was no she was going to let an opportunity to become champion again.

"Sara you know I respect you has a friend and has a competitor. You're my best friend in this business. But you let me into this match and you already know what the outcome is going to be...." Joanne says with a smirk on her face.

"I know you're gonna give it your all J-Ro. I wouldn't expect anything less...." Sara says with her hand outstretched looking for Joanne to shake and accept her challenge.

J-RO shakes and the fans erupt into cheers.

"The Main event has been set." Jim Lou Freebush yells. "Fatal 4 Way Femme Fatale Championship match. The Good Lookin' Bunny defeated the Uprising in 12:23 when Katherine Goodlooks defeated Selina Svelte with a Pretty Fly after Selina who was distracted when her tag team partner, "The Backbreaker Messiah" Talia Quinzel, started brawling with Christy Higgins who was sitting on Commentary. What makes the situation funny is that it was Talia who asked Christy to watch the match, hoping that she might learn a thing or two from her while they put a beat down and defeated everyone's favorite Bunnies. Fortune shined bright for the Bunnies has this win put them in prime contendership for a AAA Tag Team Title shot.

"Demelza, you're not helping." Cat said with an annoyed look on her face. "Nadia should be first in line ahead of that psychotic barbarian Cherry Bomb. A-List always comes first."

Demelza walks over to Nadia and pats her on her shoulder. "This is the perfect opportunity for you Nadia, you don't even have to pin the champion to do it and you know we'll have your back. Unless.....you...think...you can't do it." Demelza said, palms outstretched.

"As Is." Nadia retorted back. "But of course Sara would do that....she's not the most bring person in the world." Nadia laughed which drew an almost fake laugh from Cat Jemson.

The camera cut on Demelza Wade who just had an arched eyebrow looking on.

In a hotly contested match, the violent violet Simony Sentinel took it to one half of the tag team champion, showing her impressive aerial arsenal but Kate Lilly defeated Simony Sentinel in 7:31 by pinfall with a Lilly Launch Pad following interference from Debbie Rose who attacked Simony on the outside while Kate distracted the ref.

After AAA officials are able to get Simony Sentinel to the back who was livid and wanted to extract some revenge against the Delicate Flowers who cheated her out for the victory. The tag team champions just laughed off her attempt, grabbed some microphones, and began to address the fans.

The announce to the fans what they have been up to for the past few months.

"We've been travelling all over the world. We've been to Mexico, Europe, and Japan. Putting on great tag team matches and backing up our claim at being the best women tag team in this universe!" Debbie Rose exclaims.

"But with all that being said, we keep hearing little birds in our ear telling us that the Good Lookin Bunny have been tearing up the tag team scene in AAA the last few months. Well! That's easy. The Delicate Flowers weren't here to put them back in their place has always, always being second best compared to us!" Kate Lily adds in.

"And If you guys are so condfient at being the best tag team in the universe. Put those belts on the line right now!" Jessica Bunny barks at them.

The Delicate flowers pace around the ring as the fans cheer at the aspect of a second title match occurring tonight but their hopes were dashed when the Delicate Flowers "declined" GLB's request for a title match. Kate Lily exclaimed they have more "important" issues to attend to but they will glady face them next month at AAA More Than Meets The Eye.

Throughout the match Blake seemed obsessed with the idea that head referee Joe Kumas was going to try and "cheat" her out of the ring which ultamelty lead to her defeat.

The camera cuts to a pre tape interview with Cherry Bomb who is holding a bible in her hand. Rather than insult the AAA board who decide to make the main event into a triple threat match, she starts clapping her hand in agreement with a big smile on her face. She WANTS to beat up both Sara Marie York and Nadia Snow, who she has never liked, going back to their USPW days.

"I never liked you anyway, stupid petty arrogant B-------"

Cherry starts quoting various scriptures from the bible and then abruptly stops and proclaims the hell this book, pointing at the book, is nothing like the hell that is gonna go down in that ring tonight. Cherry ends the promo with a statement, "Hell Hath no Fury like a Cherry Bomb scorned....is right....B------s!"

The camera fades to black

A match that had everything but the kitchen sink. Hard-hitting, intense, and at times vicious. Blood, sweat, and tears were spilled in this match. Sara Marie York was determined to prove her excellence in one night over the best talent that AAA had to offer. During the match, Cherry Bomb had Nadia pinned but could not get the 3 count after Cat Jemson cracked her in the back of the head with a chair several times, while the referee was down. That was not the only time the A-List would get involved in this match. All four women fought as if this was going to be the last time they were ever going to be in the ring. JRO almost pinned Nadia with the J-Rocker but Demelza grabbed her legs from underneath the bottom rope and pulled her to the outside, which lead to the ref ejecting Wade from ringside.

But Nadia Snow secured the victory and her first Femme Fatale Championship Title when she planted Sara Marie York with her patented Snowball twice to Sara Marie York and made the pin in 22:48.

After the match, once again Nadia and Cat celebrated in each others arms but had to make a beeline for the dressing room has Cherry Bomb transformed into a bullet and shot right towards them

In a Post Show segment with all the fans now standing and cheering, streamers poured into the ring has Sara Marie York and Joanna Rodriguez made thier out to the way following thier respective musical entrances. They both thanked the fans for allowing them to compete in front of them for so many years, they thanked each other for driving each other to be the best, and they thanked Anne Stardust for opening AAA and puting on the best women's professional wrestling for over 20 years.

"If It wasnt for Anne, we wouldnt be here and thats a fact!" Sara shouted to chants of "Anne, Anne, Anne!" from the fans.

They announced that they have signed contracts for USPW and they will be applying their trade there but they'll always be ANGELS 4 LIFE

When Robbie Sanchez came to me and said that they "creative wont have anything for you in 2016," it was code words for your contract was not going to be renewed. I would have been an idiot to think they weren't looking to replace me at top of the card, but that's exactly what it was.

Peering though the curtains has I watched Joanne Rodriguez and Sara Marie York say their goodbyes to the fans of AAA I thought about what this meant for Alicia Strong now. She always had her daddy to serve has a safety net and protect her spot has the defacto "queen" of the USPW women's division.

But times were a changin'......

USPW bringing in not just Joanne Rodriguez but Sara Marie York too had to have meant that one of those two, more likely Miss Sara, was now going to be the figurehead of that division.

I could see the smug look on Alicia's face slowly dissipating at that thought.

A part of me had really wanted to confront the girls, who on the first day when I arrived her, had said directly to my face that they had no plans to defect to USPW or NOTBW wrestling and that I can add them to my plans going forward in 2016.

"Atalanta has made a phone call." Catherine said has I answered her phone call. She told me that they had signed their contracts and were leaving in a week.

A silence that seemed that it would go on forever was finally broken by her when she coughed and said "This will truly stamp your era."

And it would......

Sara and Joanne had been the faces of AAA for the last couple of years and their departure would def. leave a vacuum in not only current story lines and future ones but the top of the card, face wise, was going to be a lil empty.

But Empty spots can always be filled....

Suzanne Brazzle has always been one of this company's most consistent over works and she could easily slide into that spot and of course I could never forget about the elephant in the room, Catherine's sister, Jaime Quine who in my opinion, had star quality written all over her. Jaime would probably benefit the most from this because she would never truly ascend to the top of this company with Sara and Joanne still around. But even with all that said the roster would still needed to be added to.

Damn USPW! Seriously, it is strange the way the game works. This is the second (maybe third) AAA diary I have seen SMY and J-Ro get signed at the exact same spot, but in my game, York went to NOTBPW in July 2016 and J-Ro didn't get picked up by USPW until May 2017. USPW didn't sign any women in 2016 at all, so it's almost like the game has it out for the player controlled companies.

Main Event--AAA Femme Fatale Championship Match

Comments: Would be interesting to use Nadia as a way of shifting the belt to Brazzle. I initially went with a win by Snow here, but I changed it thinking Brazzle wins by DQ after interference by Jemson or Wade, setting up a rematch against Nadia down the road.

Jaime Quine vs Tracy Brendon

Comments: This could really go either way, but I think you're moving Jaime up fast to be the one that eventually takes the title off of Snow.

"The Submission Princess" Paige Croft Vs Juana Huracan

Comments: Someone's tapping out! Should be a hard-hitting affair, but Paige has more to lose in the North West than Huracan.

AAA Tag Team Championship Title Match

The Delicate Flowers Vs The Good Lookin' Bunny

Comments: Ah, I'm probably wrong. Good Lookin' Bunny have been on such a tear, it's almost reverse psychology to think they will continue that with the belts on the line. But I think the money feud is Bunny vs Blake & Ammis, so I'll say that happens sooner rather than later.

Eve Runcord (Debut) Vs Ellie May Walton

Comments: A win in her debut? It usually doesn't happen as Eve isn't really that over, but with the background story you've gotten, I'm thinking the FBI Agent gets a win over Ellie May, who might just be on her way out of the company.

Laura Flame (Debut) Vs Lady Liberty

Comments: Similar to the Runcord vs Walton match, Flame would gain even by losing, but I am almost certain Lady Liberty is getting fired after this match, so I'll go with Laura.

Comments: Hmmmm. Does Sarah get her first win? I just...I just can't pick her, especially against Talia.

Comments: I like that matchup of Guest and Shine, but in my mind it's a jobber team versus two of the premier stars that are left now that JRo and SMY jumped ship.

Thoughts on Previous Show: I've touched on it before, but I think it's refreshing to see a take on existing characters that deviate a bit from what we have come to expect. I'm looking forward to see their personalities develop. Sad but expected to see JRo and SMY go. It has become part of starting an AAA game it seem to lose those two pretty much right away.

Man, now I feel lucky that I got to keep SMY & J-Ro for six shows. Losing them this early is fast. But, on the other hand, this does gives you a little more time to figure out what direction you want to take AAA before Women of Wrestling rolls around. SMY and J-Ro, I found, were a crutch for my booking. Just throw them into the main event and boom, instant good grades. I hadn't really been able to figure out what to do with them, storyline-wise, when USPW came a'calling.

There's lot of possibilities in terms of who can take SMY and J-Ro's spots at the top of the card. In my diary, I've elevated Jaime Quine and Paige Croft to try and take those spots, but there are other options. You can face-turn Tracey Brendon or Nadia Snow. You can elevate Suzanne Brazzle back to the main event. You might be able to find a high-level worker that USPW or NOTBPW casts off. Or maybe you take a dark horse candidate and lift them from the midcard and into the main event spotlight. Lots of choices, I look forward to seeing which choices you make!

Brazzle was Nadia's first challenger to the title she won at Pretty Amazing and The Miracle Blonde was looking to put an end to the A-Listers championship reign at the first hurdle. This was a hard fought battle that swung back and forth has both ladies looked to exert their dominance on each other. But Brazzle was of course at a disadvantage because The champion had her A-List Manager Cat Jemson down at ringside trying her best to cause havoc. Cherry Bomb attacked Nadia Snow and then Cherry Bombed Cat Jemson through a table. Suzanne tried to regain a little bit of order by telling Cherry to leave as this was not the time or place received a Cherry Bomb for her inquiry into when and why Cherry Bomb does the "things" she does. Cherry left the ring to a mixed reaction and Nadia reaped the fruits of her reward with the pinfall victory. Winner: Nadia Snow defeated Suzanne Brazzle in 19:42 by pinfall with a Snow Ball following interference from Cherry Bomb. During the match we also had Cherry Bomb run in and attack Snow and Brazzle. Losing them this early is fast. But, on the other hand, this does gives you a little more time to figure out what direction you want to take AAA before Women of Wrestling rolls around. SMY and J-Ro, I found, were a crutch for my booking. Just throw them into the main event and boom, instant good grades. I hadn't really been able to figure out what to do with them, storyline-wise, when USPW came a'calling. There's lot of possibilities in terms of who can take SMY and J-Ro's spots at the top of the card. In my diary, I've elevated Jaime Quine and Paige Croft to try and take those spots, but there are other options. You can face-turn Tracey Brendon or Nadia Snow. You can elevate Suzanne Brazzle back to the main event. You might be able to find a high-level worker that USPW or NOTBPW casts off. Or maybe you take a dark horse candidate and lift them from the midcard and into the main event spotlight. Lots of choices, I look forward to seeing which choices you make!</div></blockquote> It def. took my me by surprise because before starting this diary I had planed out a year long storyline involving the two and the femme fatale title but had to scrap it after a couple continues in the game world. You're right through, it is almost like a crutch because your guaranteed at a minimum a C grade if you have either SMY or JRO in the main event so its def. making me think on my feet and change things up which has been fun and simulates what it would really be like to run a small regional company like AAA where there are two big national companies with women divisions. I'm hoping to build some of these younger wrestlers up so tha tilll have em' for a few years to replace SMY and JRO Question to you and all the other readers: Are you guys using DVD distribution or Internet? If you're using the internet are you seeing either huge gains in money every month or pop?
