Starting with NJPW

Does anyone have any tips or advice when booking with NJPW? I have been booking them for months and the ratings for both shows and matches haven't improved and are really low compared to when the AI books them. I have also tried booking NJPW in a whole load of other historical mods and I have the same issue. Also if anyone also has tips on booking the G1 Climax, that would be grand :)

You can't start a game and go straight to A rated matches. It takes some time.

For NJPW, I would say put your best workers, performance wise, on the top of every card. Building storylines is good but with most perf > pop feds, you don't need storylines, but then, it depends on what mod you are using and what the product is.

Also, keep an eye on workers' individual performances every match and keep a track of that, and the ones who are are consistently getting got match ratings, push them to the top. These are the guys you need to push. A little trick I use is to go to my roster screen, and filter the workers with Excellent and Great in-ring skills, they are great workers most of the time.

All I can say is try to copy their style right now. Stables, tag team matches with veterans and young lions to develop their skills and pop etc.

I guess you are relatively new to the game, judging by your post count. Just keep on playing and you will learn everything with experience. And make sure to ask a lot of questions for the parts you don't know.
