wwfmark
http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=6467&stc=1&d=1488688767 by Dave Meltzer Only a few days into the New Year and we already have what might be the biggest story of 2017. In the past few months, word has spread that Shane McMahon has become increasingly unhappy with his inability to secure any sort of backstage power in the WWE and his role with the company has strictly stayed on screen. Rumours were that it was due to Stephanie and Paul pulling a power play but as of this writing; I could neither confirm nor deny that story. Sometime within the past couple weeks Shane put in his notice with company but the real story here is Shane sold his remaining stock, well sold might not be the correct word as he has essentially traded his stock to the company for the rights to all WCW names, logos and trademarks and Shane is re-opening WCW. While that is shocking on it’s own, what is even more shocking is Shane has somehow managed to secure the contracts of several WWE wrestlers and has signed them to written contracts with WCW. Those contracts include Cesaro, Rusev and Lana, Roderick Strong and both member of The Revival Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson. From what I understand Shane has also signed Kenny Omega, Jay Lethal, Cody Rhodes, Mike and Maria Bennett, Ricochet and Marty Scurll to written contracts and more wrestlers will appear on WCW on a per appearance basis. The first show is scheduled for later this week in a small building in California so it would appear that Shane McMahon will be running smaller shows at the start. dnmt
Extremely interesting idea. I love the roster so far, but am wondering if you can do anything to make it more WCW esque. Maybe a distinct cruiserweight division?

Maybe a distinct cruiserweight division? I've already booked up to August in game time so won't be able to do that anytime soon. Thanks for reading so far. olympia
nice concept and love the write-ups so far. Was a little surprised to see Omega get so much hype and then come into lose his first match -- but I'm sure he'll be back and atone for that. Look forward to see who your first champion is -- Aldis would make a good choice but I've always thought Roddy Strong could do well on top if given the chance

I'm taking a slow build approach here as I had some early long term plans but people weren't getting over as I hoped so had to change a lot. His recaps what happened last week in his first round match of the Heavyweight Title tournament and talks about how Nick Aldis took the easy way out because he knew he couldn't beat someone as good as himself without cheating. Omega tells Aldis if he has any balls he will get out to the ring and face him like a man. It doesn't take more than a few seconds for Nick Aldis to slowly stroll to the ring and grab a microphone but before he can begin to speak, Omega lays the boots to Aldis which knocks him out of the ring. It sounds like the two matches in the semis will be Cesaro vs. Nick Aldis and Roderick Strong vs. Jay Lethal with the winners moving on the face each other for the WCW Heavyweight Title.
