PGHW:The Dawn of Destiny

Recommended Posts

After Kaneko screwed me...

http://i.imgur.com/Xx728Nc.jpg

nothing. I did nothing. Well, kinda. I planted myself a 'source' within PGHW.

I did some work with GCG. Yes, GCG. Ironic. I owed one to Kudo.

After Kaneko screwed me out of BHOTWG, I spent my days quietly. I did some business stuff here, paid back debts there, ran away from some fat guy elsewhere....I think it was Kanishoki

Then, it happened. My source called me.

http://i.imgur.com/fGNRGil.jpg

Heard about the Tsunami?

Never in my life did I hear such a stupid thing.

Heard about the Yakuza?

Acually, I did.

Well, it seems like Tatsuko is involved with them.

And it seems like someone found out.

The economy just got thrown in the trash. Tatsuko's position is severely weakened. It's your chance.

Now, don't get me wrong. When I planted a 'source' in PGHW I expected it to be an useless waste of money. Then the tsunami happens and now Tatsuko is in the law's doghouse?

I couldn't make a mistake.

I called him.

http://i.imgur.com/Nn5ddvk.jpg

WHO THE HELL IS THAT?

I laughed. Somehow, he recognized my voice. I tried to bring him to BHOTWG during his 'Iron Man' days. That was 10 years ago.

I ALREADY TOLD YOU, PGHW IS MY HOUSE! I RUN THIS PLACE NOW!

Last time we talked, he seemed more professional. Of course, he wasn't involved with the Yakuza at that time. At least I think he wasn't.

...you know I don't own Burning Hammer anymore, right?

...

He was so angered he didn't even knew who he was competing against. I took my time and finally told it all.

Calm down. I know about your schemes, I know you are weakened.

Look, I have my influence. I still do. It is influence enough to hide your Yakuza situation.

WHAT DO YOU WANT? LEAVE ME ALONE!

What I want? PGHW. I'm doing you a favour. Either I leak everything I know and take it over, or you "sell" it to me and live your life. I can even keep you under contract.

!¨#*&$¨@*&¨$*&%

Of course. It all happened in Japanese. Happened is your key word.

Now, I must say, Tsunamis often don't ruin countries. Lives are lost, buildings are destroyed. But we stand tall.

Now, when a Tsunami, the biggest one to date, hits a 'hotspot' for investors, and in one sweep devastates the headquarters of over 100 companies, then there's an actual issue.

When the economy dies, the industry dies with it. With a poor economy, interest in wrestling fades away. People don't have the time or the money to waste in wrestling. Most of them.

Now, why the hell did I think a time like this was perfect for a return?

Honestly, I can't answer that myself...

...but I do know, it's time to take PGHW to a new level. A new direction.

Aaaaand it's done. Kaneie Komine has returned. With PGHW. Will he destroy BHOTWG or will he finally run PGHW to the ground?Well, he tried for almost 20 years.

The Grand Avatar was deleted from the save. All avatars were. The only reason I used his pic is because, uhh, nobody knows who Komine's source is.

Definitely not Hornswoggle, I guarantee.

Now, in which direction will Komine take PGHW?

Well, it surely will be a hell of a ride.

Akinori Kwakami, Eisaku Kunomasu and Tetsunori Yasuda vs. Seiji Jimbo and KitoGuchi(Chohjiro Kitoaji & Bussho Makiguchi)

Kwakami started out with Seiji Jimbo. They basically just traded suplexes, forearms, elbows and clotheslines before Kwakami tagged in Kunomasu.

Kunomasu, as always, worked Seiji's arms. The latter managed to reach Kitoaji and they traded blows and armbars. Makiguchi, Jimbo, Yasuda and Kwakami started a brawl on the outside.

Yasuda, who got tagged in right after and Kwakami got the better though and it became a 3-1 attack on Kitoaji for a while. He struggled without his partner but eventually hit the lariat on Kunomasu, not realizing he had tagged out. Distracted, he received the Minilla Plunge(Northern Lights Bomb) which meant the

end of the match.

Official Result: Tetsunori Yasuda pinned Chojiro Kitoaji with the Minilla Plunge.

Kozue Kawashima and PRIDE Koiso vs. Masaru Ugaki and Yoshimi Musashibo

Despite also working extensively as singles wrestlers, Kawashima &

Koiso's experience together meant the world in this match. Musashibo and Ugaki did try a lot but simply couldn't stop Kawashima and Koiso's constant tag team moves. The latter also tagged out a lot more and always kept a fresh man in.

It eventually turned into Kawashima vs. Musashibo. Kawashima had already challenged Musashibo, actually, had already demanded his Glory Crown rematch. With Elite Series winner Eisaku Kunomasu out of the way, another bout between the two is all but unavoidable now.

Musashibo, despite being far more tired and on great disadvantage, fough hard and managed to tag in Ugaki. Ugaki went as fast as ever and also forced Kawashima out.

Koiso unloaded a series of Forearms and clotheslines but Ugaki stalled his momentum with the Arc Kick! Then the Throat Crusher(Fireman's Carry Hot Shot)! Choke Takedown(Kneeling Choke Slam)!

<em>Well, the first big news under my rule just happened.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

Bryan Holmes, one of our main foreign talent, announced his retirement.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

I did try to convince him to stay for another year, but I couldn't. While I did not know him so well, Tatsuko told me It'd be a good idea to do a 'retirement tour' for him.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

So, our next tour will be the </em><em><strong>Holmes Retirement Special</strong></em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

We'll be touring every Tuesday and Saturday.</em></p></div><p></p><p></p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>After sorting out the tour, I took a look at Tatsuko's shopping list</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Komine sent you a letter. It wound up in Mexico.

Meanwhile, in the BHOTWG headquarters

http://i.imgur.com/VzjNadu.jpg

Well, I can finally breathe. Mr. Kaneko is out there trying to buy companies or something. Nobody could ever understand the guy.

http://i.imgur.com/qNg4lfa.jpg

Boss?

I told you, I don't how where your phone is.

...I can get another. Speaking of another, Okazaki has the world title since January and...

There's quite an untold rule in BHOTWG. "Kikkawa wants, Kikkawa gets". Specially since the INSPIRE situation, his position as top star always gets him one more win, one more title.

He's never the kind of guy to overuse his 'powers'. But when we decided to job him three times to Masaaki Okazaki, who flopped wonderfully as champion then I guess he has a point.

However, even Kikkawa's position as our ace has been doubtful. Even though nobody beats him overall, a lot of our guys are "almost as over", "almost as better-looking". Don't get me wrong, Kikkawa has almost everything you'd want. He's charismatic, but not 'Ace' charismatic. Sensational Dragon for instance overshadows him, but is not as over and simply doesn't have the same Star Power.

But we don't have a star bigger than Kikkawa. This has plagued us for years now.

I better get back to work.

I know. I'm not your guy. You've been talking this since Kaneko gave you the job.

Look, you're the best thing I have. When I left Burning Hammer, Komine lost his job and everyone was afraid of the consequences.

I'm trying, I really am. Do you think being an Ace is easy? We've talked before. PGHW, WLW, heck, even GCG are bigger threats than ever.

You need me.

I know. Let's do this. Let's dominate like we always did.

On that day, a new Fire Dream was born. A fire dream of Minamoto and Kikkawa. Can they stop MJM's rise? Will PGHW finally become number one?

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Yeah, I decided to write-up something more 'serious' for Burning Hammer, but I can't help but put something 'not serious' there. You must be wondering if I'm the guy for a PGHW diary. Maybe I just think every C-Verse businessman is a slightly different Vince McMahon. I really couldn't get a good talk because I can't imagine Kikkawa showing emotions for too long. Up next, we'll go back to PGHW with the pre-tour press conference.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Well, we have working agreement with them so.................

Uhh, let's pretend I said 'CILL'

TEWDOTCOM:Pride Glory Honor Wrestling Press Conference. What Just Happened?

http://i.imgur.com/jS58pMR.jpg

Kaneie Komine opened the press conference by saying PGHW's expansion plans were already in effect.´

The first official announcement caught many by surprise.

Pride Glory Honor Wrestling is pleased to announce the signing of Buddy Garner to an exclusive deal, effective as of the beggining of the month of June.

Burning Hammer of The Wrestling Gods also made strong offers and we're happy and proud that the grappler chose PGHW as his new home.

Afterwards, Komine talked about business and the industry in general. It is the exact same talk we've been hearing for a few weeks.

He also said that PGHW had signed a number of Luchadores and juniors from Japan itself to compete against BHOTWG's Junior Divison and WLW.

The main names mentioned were Orange Tsuchie, Hidekazu, Super Joshuya, Haru Kurofuji, Amo Del Gato and Mr. Lucha III.Some of these wrestlers signed exclusive deals but others are only touring at least right now.

Komine also said that 'In PGHW, Juniors and heavyweights should wrestle eachother without split, as long as they can put good matches for the fans

This was clearly done to distance them from the BHOTWG style of splitting Juniors and Heavyweights with rare interactions between them.

Afterwards, it was time for Yoshimi Musashibo to talk about the company. It was said to be a heavily scrpited speech, but Musashibo did a very good job.

http://i.imgur.com/xMrEc6S.jpg

PGHW is changing, and it's not to surprise anyone.

Times are changing, the industry is changing. For too long we got stuck in the past. Changes had been happening slowly. Kaneie Komine came in to change and I respect that. Of course, PGHW still has an image. Our core will still be there. I'm pleased to be here and to see it all. I'm pleased to be your Cham---

LARIATOOOO!

PGHW truly shocked everyone here. A mountain of a man hit Musashibo during his speech. Not the most honorable move for either him or PGHW.

http://i.imgur.com/JRwmhD8.jpg

But the truth is, Marat Kohklov arrived in PGHW.

Paramedics attended Musashibo and the press conference was deemed over.

Aaaaand It's done. An attack during a supposedly non-kayfabe conference seems like something Antonio Inoki would do. Hey, controversy creates cash, right? Riiight?

The whole surprise was probably ruined by the whole huge star thing and the big ass 'LARIATOOOO!' in the middle of a press conference. Can you imagine someone actually saying 'I'm proud to be your chamLARIATOOO'?

I really couldn't think of a better debut. Attack the champion, ruin the conference, seems good. Multi-Man tag matches ensue!

This one was PGHW 101. For almost half an hour, Six men hit eachother with stiff shots and tried to rip off arms and legs. Eisaku Kunomasu looked specially good here, as he, at one point, held both KitoGuchi in a double Armbar. It was Kunomasu who ended the match,

submitting Makiguchi with the Kunomasu Vice.

vs.

http://i.imgur.com/eysSATE.jpg

http://i.imgur.com/6dK7vOc.jpg

This was a very fluid match. At some points, Kawashima & Koiso would dominate their opponents, specially Musashibo, who was clearly their main target, with hard shots and big power moves. Musashibo, despite being able to hit more of the same, preffered to take a metodical technical approach here. Garner mixed both styles well, and it made for a very good bout.

There were not many pinfall attempts, but you never knew when a lethal submission would be applied. This ended when Garner locked Koiso in the naked choke. Koiso promptly backed him into the corner, where Musashibo blind tagged Garner.

Unaware of that, Koiso hit the Running Koiso Kutter. Yoshimi was smart though and did not attack imediately. Instead, he waited for an unavoidable moment of angerness. This came when Koiso started to argue with the referee about the latter not making a count. Smartly, Musashibo applied the Yoshimi Lock. Kawashima looked in absolute rage as his partner was forced to submit.

Official Result:Yoshimi Musashibo sumbits PRIDE Koiso with the Yoshimi Lock

Overall Rating:B

Last Main Event Rating:B+(Kawashima & Koiso b. Masaru Ugaki & Yoshimi Musashibo)

Last Overall Rating:B-

That was far better than our previous one.

I was afraid this kind of finish, despite being quite deicisive would not fit well with the crowd but we need those to hype Kawashima vs. Musashibo.

Tatsuko already had cards set for the rest of the year so I'm just adding more matches. There still is a lot of rom for improvement here. I want the King's Road to be synonymous with great wrestling every week.
