Towards the end of the Monday night wars the WWF was almost at the end of the attitude era. The WCW was close to going out of business. The parents television council were putting pressure n the WWF to tone it down. The WWF has some of the greatest entertainers in wrestling history, along with story lines with so many twist and turns it kept everyone guessing, So many stars, so many great characters, but the pressure from outside sources and income is starting to make the WWF tone it down. At a time where the Rock was the first person to challenge Stone Cold as the No1 face of the company, Kurt Angle and Triple H the major Heels, with Kane, Big Show and the American Bad Ass all capable of realistically looking like they could beat anyone. An injured HBK wouldn't even be missed. The birth of the great TLC matches within the last year a 24/7 Hardcore Championship Coming straight off one of the greatest Royal Rumbles off all time, the only thing now that could stop the WWF continuing this amazing period, would be the outside influences and the WWF itself.

Using the 2001 January mod by 'The Mod Squad' i will be doing a dynasty i have been wanting to do for a long time. For me 2000/2001 was the peak of wrestling/WWF, i loved everything about this period. I also personally believe the WWF went downhill from here on. I think it started to go downhill early 2001 and the invasion story line didn't go down well either. I will be booking the WWF from the Raw after the Royal Rumble and trying to keep the booking as i would expect it be in the attitude era (Attitude forever). The bonus for me is, i didn't watch full shows from this point on wards, so new characters after this point i wouldn't know them inside out, so even if i go down the same route, i should have my own twist on it so i am not copying any future character exactly how they were in real life (that should save anyone saying but 'x would never have said that)

For those interested. I will be playing as Dana White for no particular reason other than he is a user character and he will not be involved in anything re WWF. I have taken over as owner as i believe Vince's relationships will stop me hiring certain people that would have come back for the right money. I have also edited a few things in the mod which were not actually correct at the time (but the mod makers put it in for play ability) I have also made a few people available to wrestle who may have retired at the time, but came back to wrestle after their retirement (again in theory, for the right money they would have come out and wrestled) Vince is still the owner in on screen.

The mod starts week one in January, I have carefully researched the shows that took place up until the rumble and made them exactly the same in the WWF, so the WWF is exactly where it left off. (except Drew Carey i had to use another wrestler to take his place in the RR) The only difference is all the other companies will have had a slightly different start to the year (Sid vicious wont have broken his leg etc)

O.K guys, so just a quick update. I am still writing shows out and i have completed a few weeks in game and written notes down (brief notes of the shows). The issue is writing them up fully on here with he presentation.

Ive got two options

1. Write the shows in much less detail or

2. Put shows out at a slower rate, possible every few days or once a week.

Going forward ill let anyones who's reading decide. PM me if you want.

Unless any one has any tips on writing out shows on this site without all the formatting taking forever.

The next show is 80% written so won't be long

Basically you can find one angle that is special enough to flesh out while keeping the rest simple.

Meanwhile Buchanan has set up Bubba on a table in the ring. D-Von runs in to make the save and whips Buchanan into the ropes and the Dudley's hit the 3D through the table. Austin starts fast paced with many punches to Big Show and kicks to the knees. Every time Austin looks to knock Big Show down he is countered with a powerful looking move giving Big Show time to recover. Austin is whipped into the ropes and as he goes for the Thez Press, but Big Show moves his head down and they clash heads. Big Show is holding his head as Austin is rolling around the floor cut open Austin makes is way towards the corner and tags Rock who enters the ring bringing a lot of energy. He knocks Kane off the apron as Vince, HH and Angle make their way down to the ring. The referee and Austin are distracted by these. Back in the ring Kane and Big Show are both in the ring and double team Rock The referee orders one out and Kane stays the legal man Kane hits Rock with a chokeslam and goes pin and Rock kicks out on 2. Kane picks Rock up for the tombstone and he reverses it and hits Kane with a rock bottom. Both men are down and Rock tags Austin Vince is now at the announcer table and picks a chair up and goes to enter the ring. Austin hits Kane with a stunner when Triple H and Kurt Angle run into the ring form behind the ref and Angle hits Austin with the belt Rock tries to enter, only to be taken out by Triple H Angle puts Kane over Austin and the referee turns round and counts to 3 WINNER: Kane & Big Show (GRADE - 77)</div> Big Show does not seemed fascinated by how it ended as McMahon, HHH and Angle make their way up the ramp gloating. Rock and Austin (full of blood) both lay on the ground looking up at Vince and Co as the camera focuses on the two's faces as the show ends. <div style="text-align:center;">Show Rating - 81</div>
