DOTM Nominations - April 2017

Recommended Posts

The busiest Nomination thread EVER... with the Least Nominations ever... :p

I will extend nominations for a few more days to see if we get any more :).

P.S... nominating yourself is fine... most have done it through PM tho :D:D:D.

Its just voting for yourself that doesn't count :p

PM shouldn't count, lol. It should be baws out and in public.

<p>RW Diary of the Month Nominations:</p><p>

Uncrewed's <a href="http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=536010" rel="external nofollow">WWF 1994: Turning The Tide</a></p><p>

Uncrewed provides consistent entertainment with his diary and helps me be interested in 1994 and beyond of the WWF, a time I wasn't yet alive to witness, but am glad I can see it unfold via Uncrewed's vision.</p><p> </p><p>

Andylion's <a href="http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=535572" rel="external nofollow">WWF 1997: Anything Can Happen</a></p><p>

The roster in 1997 is a hard one to grasp, but Andy displays each character in a way that makes them very believable and I'm a proud reader. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Legendary Diary of the Month Nomination:</p><p>

The Final Countdown's <a href="http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=537148&page=58" rel="external nofollow">WCW: Heart and Soul</a></p><p>

For his ingenuity and unique diary format, this man's work captures what WCW should have been. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p><strong>Legendary Diary of the Month Nomination:</strong></p><p>

While I'm a Pop over Perf guy, this diary has kept me interested to see where WCW goes next with some original storylines and good matches to accompany them. Another great work from TFC.</p>

I don't see why it ought to be taboo. There are a lot of lurkers and people seem kind of hesitant to give feedback. Recognition and interaction are big reasons to write.

I agree. But it seems like most, if not all diary writers seem to always say "write for yourself" or "write because you love it" and make it seem like you should without recognition or interaction. It almost feels like I'm not allowed to say that I write to get feedback.

Andylion's WWF 1997: Anything Can Happen

The roster in 1997 is a hard one to grasp, but Andy displays each character in a way that makes them very believable and I'm a proud reader. :)

Thanks. :D I'm glad to have you along for the ride.

If it's not too late, I'd like to nominate my own 1999 Royal Rumble match for Match Of The Month because I worked hard on it and would like to see if people enjoyed it or not. :p

And while I'm on the subject (I promise this is my only time I'm gonna do this) I want to nominate that entire show for show of the month, because I really liked how I booked it.

I'll nominate A new generation.....a new attitude? by to4sty for RW Diary and, if it needs a second vote, AAA The Revolution Is Now for C-Verse.

The Kliq versus Bret and others from to4sty's diary I'll nominate for Storyline. Since we're allowed GMs and stuff, Cat Jemson from the AAA diary for Worker/Character, as well as the Brazzle/Flame Dog Collar Match from Women Of Wrestling for Match.

I second this motion, most for the use of the phrase "baws oot".

:D so i shouldnt mention that there was on private nomination :p.

P.S... I shall leave nominations open a further 24 hours... i'll put up the poll's this time tomorrow :)

To save low numbers for each category, how would everyone feel about a "committee" who nominates 2 for each category every month... along side all the normal nominations...

Sounds a reasonable idea to me

If you haven't read it yet, then DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND DO IT NOW! I don't want to step on anyone's toes, and granted I haven't read many dynasties lately, but his dynasty is already verging on the best one I've ever read.

If you don't believe me, check it out for yourself.

However much your being paid... SHAMEFUL :D:p:D. Thats some serious promotion for to4sty

However much he was paid, it wasn't nearly enough, wowzers, no pressure then lol. Thank you though, it certainly makes the writing process that little bit easier when you know people are enjoying what you put out.
