<font color="#202020">After the signature WWE “Then. Now. Forever.” clip aired, the broadcast cuts to a video package highlighting all the events that took place this past Saturday at NXT TakeOver: Chicago. In front of thousands of screaming NXT fans, things got heated as the Superstars of NXT brought their all. The controlled chaos of SAnitY members Eric Young, Sawyer Fulton, and Alexander Wolfe ruled the ring as they bested the trio of Roderick Strong, Drew McIntyre, and Kassius Ohno. The WWE United Kingdom Championship changed hands when Pete Dunne outlasted Tyler Bate in one of the best matches in the world this year. The reign of Asuka continued as she beat bitter enemies Ruby Riot and Nikki Cross in a grueling Triple Threat match. Hideo Itami finally accomplished his NXT goal as he defeated “The Glorious One” Bobby Roode to become the NXT Champion! And finally, The Authors of Pain retained the NXT Tag Team Championships against #DIY. But what happened after shocked the world, as Tomasso Ciampa turned his back on his once good friend and left Johnny Gargano in a heap of debris of broken tables and broken hearts. Now, with NXT TakeOver: Chicago in the rear-view mirror, NXT is all the rage!</font></p><p> </p><p>

<font color="#202020">Cut to opening package for NXT, showcasing the future Superstars of the WWE - including the NXT champions, Hideo Itami, The Authors of Pain, and Asuka. The cameras pan around the Allstate Arena as NXT is still in Chicago, Illinois for another night of action. The NXT commentary team of <b>Percy Watson</b>, <b>Tom Phillips</b>, and <b>Nigel McGuinness</b> welcome the viewers to the show as they hype up tonight’s show. <i>“And tonight, Aleister Black is once again in action on NXT as he takes on Wesley Blake.”</i> proclaimed Phillips. All that and much more tonight on WWE NXT!</p><p> </p><p>

</font><hr></p><p>

<b><font color="#de9502">GRAN METALIK def. RAUL MENDOZA -</font></b><font color="#202020"> These two high fliers from Mexico wowed the audience and showcased their skills that shined in the 2016 Cruiserweight Classic - however, this match was not officially contested in the WWE Cruiserweight division. Both Metalik and Mendoza took to the air and showcased the art of Lucha Libre in NXT. With the crowd firmly behind him, Metalik called for the end of the match as he drove Mendoza to the mat with the Metalik Driver for the hard-earned victory.</p><p> </p><p>

</font><hr> </p><p>

<font color="#202020">Cutting backstage, the Iconic Duo of <b>Billie Kay</b> and <b>Peyton Royce</b> stand in <b>William Regal</b>’s, the NXT General Manager, office. Kay and Royce let Regal know just what they thought about not being on the NXT TakeOver: Chicago card. Billie and Peyton, the two bestest friends in the whole world, seem quite surprised as Regal apologized and told the Iconic Duo that they can earn the chance for a title shot at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III card in just a few weeks. <i>“But who do we have to beat to go on and beat Asuka?”</i> asked Billie and Peyton at the exact same time. “<i>That, ladies, you will have to wait and see.”</i> retorted Regal before asking them to leave his office. Who is this surprise?</p><p> </p><p>

</font><hr></p><p>

<font color="#202020">A video package is shown recapping the post-match attack from Tomasso Ciampa to his former partner Johnny Gargano from this past Saturday at NXT TakeOver: Chicago. After losing the tag team ladder match against the Authors of Pain for the NXT Tag Team Championships, Ciampa burned his friendship with Gargano by dropping him through a table and leaving “Johnny Wrestling” in a hopeless heap. Phillips, from the commentary booth, revealed that Tomasso Ciampa will address the events next week on NXT. But the question remains on everybody's’ hearts: DIWhy?</p><p> </p><p>

</font><hr> </p><p>

<font color="#202020">After their hard-hitting match at NXT TakeOver: Chicago, NXT Interviewer <b>Kayla Braxton</b> managed to get a word with the two thirds of the trio consisting of <b>Roderick Strong</b>, Kassius Ohno, and <b>Drew McIntyre</b>. Braxton stood by with both Strong and McIntyre. <i>“SAnitY may have won tonight, but this is far from over between me and Eric Young. Young has come after my family and when I get him one-on-one, he’s going to feel what its like to tempt a family man.”</i> noted Strong before leaving the interview scene. Leaving Drew alone, he simply stared down at Kayla and stated that he will not be doing this interview.</p><p> </p><p>

</font><hr> </p><p>

<b><font color="#de9502">PATRICK CLARK def. ROBERT ANTHONY -</font></b><font color="#202020"> “The Velveteen Dream Experience” has arrived at NXT as the enigmatic and ambiguous Patrick Clark made his official NXT debut here in the Allstate Arena. Robert Anthony is a local competitor from the Chicago area, and he showed some fire, but Clark got the best of him for most of the match. After a devastating neckbreaker in the middle of the mat, Clark lept off the top rope and connected with a picture-perfect Macho Man-esque Elbow Drop for the victory.</p><p> </p><p>

</font><hr> </p><p>

<font color="#202020">After winning the WWE United Kingdom Championship at NXT TakeOver: Chicago, <b>Pete Dunne</b> stood by with NXT interviewer <b>Kayla Braxton</b>. Dunne noted that ever since January, Tyler Bate was wrestling on NXT as UK champion on borrowed time and at TakeOver, Pete Dunne put everything back to where it belongs in the world. Dunne concluded by saying that he will take on all challengers, and they will all feel the reason why he is called “The Bruiserweight”.</p><p> </p><p>

</font><hr> </p><p>

<font color="#202020">Braxton was a busy lady this past Saturday after NXT TakeOver: Chicago as she looked to get a comment from the new NXT Champion <b>Hideo Itami</b>. Itami with the championship belt slung over his shoulder refused to comment as he glared at Braxton. Hideo kept walking, keeping one hand on his championship, as the commentary trio wondered what had gotten into the new NXT champion.</p><p> </p><p>

<b><font color="#de9502">ALEISTER BLACK def. WESLEY BLAKE -</font></b><b style="color:rgb(32, 32, 32);"> </b><font color="#202020">Main event time here on NXT as Wesley Blake looked to put an end to the momentum of Aleister Black here tonight. Black, always enigmatic, kept the former NXT Tag Team Champion intimidated with his entrance that wowed the NXT Universe here in the Allstate Arena. Blake looked to strike first as he immediately charged and hit Black in the face with a forearm, knocking Aleister Black back. Blake then connected with a quick snap suplex that only garnered a one count. Black and Blake both hopped back up to their feet and Blake connected with another forearm, but Aleister no-sold it and then headbutted Blake, knocking Wesley on his arse. Black bounced off the ropes and nearly crushed the sitting Blake with a double foot-stomp. Black lifted Wesley Blake back to his feet using his one leg and then he knocked him out cold with the Black Mass spin kick for the victory!</p><p>

</font></p><p>

<font color="#202020">Aleister Black sat cross-legged in the middle of the ring as replays of the devastating Black Mass kick are shown. Wesley Blake rolls out of the ring in a heap, as Aleister Black stands… or in this case, sits… tall to end the night. Catch WWE NXT live next week on the WWE Network for more NXT TakeOver: Chicago fallout. The cameras pan back to Black, still sitting in victory, as NXT fades to black.</font></p><p> </p><p>

<div style="text-align:justify;"><b>Lars Sullivan & Dan Matha</b> def. <b>Steve Cutler & Wesley Blake</b> - The impressive duo of Sullivan and Matha steamrolled over their competition here in Cocoa Beach. Cutler and Blake are working a disgruntled employee gimmick, but they were unable to get past the monstrous duo of Sullivan and Matha.</p><p> </p><p>

<hr></p><p>

<b>Sonya Deville</b> def. <b>Liv Morgan</b> - The NXT Women's division was next as the crowd favorite Morgan faced the MMA badass Deville. Morgan and Deville went back and forth, but Sonya came out on top with the Guillotine Choke.</p><p> </p><p>

<hr></p><p>

<b>Oney Lorcan</b> def. <b>Adrian Jaoude</b> - The brutal Oney Lorcan brought the fight to the Brazilian freestyle wrestler. Adrian did manage to take down NXT's resident bruiser, but Lorcan eventually finished the contest with his single-legged Boston Crab.</p><p> </p><p>

<hr></p><p>

<b>Killian Dain</b> def. <b>Raul Mendoza</b> - This was Mendoza's NXT house show loop debut since signing with the WWE full-time last week. The Cruiserweight Classic competitor, however, did not stand a chance against SAnitY's Killian Dain. Mendoza fell victim to the Ulster Plantation.</p><p> </p><p>

<hr></p><p>

<b>Aleister Black</b> def. <b>Kassius Ohno</b> -  A main event anywhere in the world, these two put on an absolute barnburner. Ohno and Black traded shots and strikes that would make Misawa proud. Ohno eventually fell to the mat following the Black Mass kick that let Black make the cover for the victory.</p><p> </p><p>

<hr></p><p>

<b>The Street Prophets</b>, Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford, were out for a promo where they told the NXT Universe here in Cocoa Beach that they are the future of the NXT Tag Team division. The Street Prophets are here and they are coming for the NXT Tag Team championships. <b>Heavy Machinery</b> then came out and beat down The Street Prophets to a good reaction from the crowd.</p><p> </p><p>

<hr></p><p>

<b>Ruby Riot</b> def. <b>Mandy Rose</b> - A big clash of styles and of style here in Cocoa Beach. Mandy Rose is showing improvements in her work and could be somebody to watch for in the future, but Ruby Riot is on fire right now. Rose mistimed a clothesline that led to Riot connecting with the wind-up overhead kick for the victory.</p><p> </p><p>

<b>Buddy Murphy</b>, <b>No Way Jose</b>, and <b>Roderick Strong</b> def. <b>Bobby Roode</b>, <b>Riddick Moss</b>, and <b>Tino Sabbatelli</b> - A fun action-packed six-man tag team match that signals the end of Bobby Roode's run with NXT as he moves to the main roster. No Way Jose was a crowd favorite, and Buddy Murphy wowed everybody with his crisp offense. After taking care of Moss and Sabbatelli, the babyface trio knocked Roode senseless with Jose's Fastball Punch, Buddy's Murphy's Law, and finally Strong's End of Heartache that led to the pinfall on the former NXT Champion.</div></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></div></font><div align="center"></p><p>

<div style="text-align:justify;"><b>Heavy Machinery </b>def. <b>The Ealy Brothers</b> - Otis Dozovic and Tucker Knight overpowered the twin brothers, Gabriel and Uriel. However, the charismatic Ealy Brothers brought the fight to NXT's resident power duo. Heavy Machinery won the fun bout following their scoop slam combination.

<hr>

<b>Gran Metalik</b> def. <b>Raul Mendoza</b> - An excellent lucha libre contest between these two competitors in last year's Cruiserweight Classic. Mendoza definitely impressed with his high-flying antics, but Metalik's experience advantage gave him the much needed edge to win with the Metalik Driver.

<hr>

<b>Bianca Blair</b> def. <b>Aliyah </b>- Aliyah didn't stand a chance against the EST of NXT, who came out and shined in this match. Blair is showing expectional in-ring skills at this stage in her career and is most definitely one of the next big things in the NXT Women's division. Blair finished the match with The GreatEST 450 Splash.

<hr>

<b>SAnitY </b>def. <b>Riddick Moss and Tino Sabbatelli</b> - SAnitY's Killain Dain and Alexander Wolfe brought the fight to NXT's resident jocks - who did well in this match, as well. Moss and Sabbatelli are improving at such a fast-pace, you can expect to see them on the main NXT roster soon. Wolfe launched Tino out of the ring, spelling the end for Moss who fell victim to Dain's Ulster Plantation.

<hr>

<b>Akam </b>def. <b>Jeet Rama</b> - With Rezar and Paul Ellering by his side, Akam, one-half of the current NXT Tag Team Champions, bulldozed through the Indian superstar. Rama did try to put up a fight, but the monstrous Akam was too tough to handle. Akam finished Rama off with a huge Powerbomb to declare victory.

<hr>

<b>Hideo Itami and Asuka</b> def. <b>Buddy Murphy and Ruby Riot</b> - A very good mixed tag team match that pitted the current NXT Champion and NXT Women's Champion against two of the biggest underdogs on the roster. Murphy and Riot held their own against the champions, but the Japanese duo showcased why they are on top of the NXT mountain. With Riot and Asuka brawling outside the ring, Hideo Itami capitalized and dropped Murphy with the Go To Sleep to secure the pinfall.

<hr>

<b>Aleister Black</b> def. <b>Bobby Roode</b> - This was Bobby Roode's last match as part of the NXT roster, as he leaves for the main roster full time come Tuesday for Smackdown Live. Both men received dueling chants, with Black playing the heel for this match against the beloved Roode. Roode looked to connect with the Roode Bomb, but Aleister popped out of it and connected with the Black Mass kick for the one-two-three.</div></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></div></font></font></div>

<font color="#202020">After the signature WWE “Then. Now. Forever.” clip aired, the broadcast cuts to a video package highlighting the aftermath from the NXT Tag Team Championship Ladder Match from NXT TakeOver: Chicago. After a grueling match, The Authors of Pain defeated DIY to retain the championships. But what happened after was surely the most excruciating moment of the weekend: when Tommaso Ciampa turned his back on his good friend Johnny Gargano. Ciampa left Gargano in a heap of debris near the stage, while showing his true colours. And tonight, Tommaso Ciampa will be live here in Full Sail University to address his actions.</p><p> </p><p>

Cut to opening package for NXT, showcasing the future Superstars of the WWE - including the NXT champions, Hideo Itami, The Authors of Pain, and Asuka. The cameras pan around the sold-out Full Sail Arena in beautiful Orlando, Florida as the NXT commentary team of <b>Tom Phillips</b>, <b>Nigel McGuinness</b>, and <b>Percy Watson</b> welcome the viewers to the broadcast. Before they can announce any matches planned for tonight’s show, <b>Tommaso Ciampa</b> walks down the ramp to no music but a loud chorus of boos. Ciampa enters the ring and cannot get a word in for a good minute as loud “Johnny Wrestling” chant breaks out from all avenues of the arena.</p><p> </p><p>

As the chants drown out, Ciampa forms a smirk on his face. <i>“This is my moment… those are the exact words I told Johnny before I smashed his head into the stage back in Chicago, y’know a real wrestling crowd.”</i> started Ciampa as the boos continue to rain down inside of Full Sail. <i>“Speaking of Johnny Gargano, I would like to invite him down here so I can explain myself to him and to the whole world.”</i> added Ciampa as the theme music of DIY hit the speakers. After a good while, Ciampa smiles in the ring as the music fades to nothing. <i>“Oh wait, he’s not here tonight. In fact, you’ll probably never see your loved ‘Johnny Wrestling’ ever again… I did what I’ve had stored in the back of my mind ever since Johnny Gargano beat me in last year’s Cruiserweight Classic tournament. That was my tournament to win, and he deceived me. He told me we’d go in as equals and walk out as equals. But what happened? Johnny won that match and then he developed an ego.”</p><p>

</i></p><p>

Ciampa shakes his head before continuing, <i>“Johnny developed an ego even though I was the one who carried his ass to the NXT Tag Team Championships. I carried #DIY ever since we first stepped foot in an NXT ring. If it wasn’t for Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano wouldn’t even have an NXT contract. Not that any of that matters any more... I finished Johnny Gargano.”</i> The Full Sail faithful continue to drown Tommaso with jeers to no avail. <i>“There are a few things that are known facts in this world: I will become the NXT champion, #DIY is dead, and I am professional wrestling whether you like it or not!”</i> finishes Ciampa as he drops the microphone to the mat. Ciampa stretches his arms out in a Jesus-Christ-esque pose before leaving the ring and returning to the back, all while being booed by the Full Sail audience.</p><p> </p><p>

Dunne finished his competition with the Bitter End in a message to the world: he is WWE United Kingdom champ for a reason!</font></p><p> </p><p>

<font color="#202020">After the match, Dunne rises to his feet and holds the WWE United Kingdom Championship high into the air. Wolfe was accompanied to the ring only by <b>Killian Dain</b>, who tried to interfere throughout the match. After Dain hopped up onto the ring apron but ate a dropkick from Strong, referee Drake Wuertz had enough and sent him to the back! After a few minutes of back and forth with Wolfe, Strong was able to secure the victory following the End of Heartache for the pinfall.</p><p>

</font></p><p>

<font color="#202020">Following the match, Roderick Strong returns to a vertical base in celebration. Roderick has one thing on his mind, for sure, and that is wanting a one-on-one match against Eric Young. <i>“Eric, I know you’re listening from whatever cave you are living in. I want to make one thing clear. I want you to face me one-on-one like a man in this very ring. No Sanity members, no bullcrap. Just me versus you.”</i> proclaimed Strong before leaving the ring, the challenge laid out to Eric Young.</font></p><p> </p><p>

<b><font color="#de9502">HIDEO ITAMI</font><font color="#202020"> def. </font><font color="#de9502">ONEY LORCAN</font><font color="#202020"> -</font></b><font color="#202020"> This is your NXT main event, as the new NXT champion Hideo Itami faces off against the tough-as-nails Oney Lorcan in a non-title match. The bell rings and Lorcan backs Itami to the ropes which causes a quick break. Lorcan shoots the half, but Itami fights out of it and slaps the taste out of Lorcan’s mouth. The NXT Champion follows up with a clothesline and goes for the cover to no avail. Itami backs Oney into the corner, but Lorcan fights out with an elbow and a big boot. He follows up with a running blockbuster for a two count on the champion. Oney pops back up to his feet and is fired up. Lorcan and Itami jockey for momentum with hard shoot-style chops, and Itami gets the upperhand with a stiff headbutt that knocks Lorcan down. Itami connects with a flying clothesline from the top-rope for a two count. Lorcan fights back and chops Itami some more, but Hideo no sells it and yells out in a loud roar. Itami lifts Lorcan up onto his shoulders and connects with a Go To Sleep for the three count.</font></p><p> </p><p>

<font color="#202020">Following the match, Hideo Itami is not done there as he drags Oney back up to a standing position and drops him with another Go To Sleep! Lorcan is out cold as the remorseless Itami has a cold dead look in his eyes. The NXT Champion picks Lorcan back up, hoists him onto his shoulders once more, and connects with a third brutal Go To Sleep! Lorcan is motionless on the mat as Itami displays a cocky smile as he calls out for number four. Itami picks Lorcan back up, but <b>Kassius Ohno</b> runs down to the ring and makes the save. As soon as Ohno enters the confines of the squared circle, Itami leaves the ring and clutches his NXT Championship, not looking too impressed with the sudden appearance of “NXT’s Resident Knockout Artist”. Itami backs up the ramp with his arms held high in celebration as Ohno and NXT officials check on the condition of Oney Lorcan as NXT fades to black.</font></p><p> </p><p>

<p>WOW! A Filipina! I actually used Kris Wolf to represent the Philippines as I remember reading something about her being a Filipina (but haven't been able to confirm it anywhere else <img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> )</p><p> </p><p>

<div style="text-align:justify;"><b>No Way Jose </b>def. <b>Brennan Williams</b> - No Way Jose is back in Orlando and brought the fiesta with him in this match against "The Shogun of NXT". Williams has been tearing it up on the NXT live shows for a good while now, but this match was pretty lackluster. Jose took the win following the Fastball Punch.</p><p> </p><p>

<hr></p><p>

<b>Sawyer Fulton</b> def. <b>Alexander Wolfe</b> - Making his return, Sawyer Fulton is out to take out the members of SAnitY who kicked him out of the group when he came down with an injury earlier this year. Wolfe was his first victim and put up a fight, but the much larger Fulton won the match following a spinning gutwrench suplex.</p><p> </p><p>

<hr></p><p>

<b>Ava Kimberly</b> def. <b>Mandy Rose</b> - Ava Kimberly, formerly known as Kimber Lee on the independent scene, went toe-to-toe with the blonde bombshell Mandy Rose here tonight in the first women's match of the night. Rose is improving in the ring and would make a good selection for the Mae Young Classic to showcase her skills. Kimberly won with an Alligator Clutch submission hold.</p><p> </p><p>

<hr></p><p>

<b>Riddick Moss & Tino Sabbatelli</b> def. <b>Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford</b> - Two of the cockiest tag teams in NXT today went at it inside the squared circle. The NXT Universe here in Orlando were a bit confused on who to cheer for, but eventually sided with The Street Prophets. Dawkins and Ford bit off a bit more than they could chew and eventually Ford fell victim to Moss' bulldog finishing move.</p><p> </p><p>

<hr></p><p>

<b>Aleister Black</b> def. <b>Patrick Clark</b> - Aleister Black experienced "The Velveteen Dream Experience" here in Orlando, but still kept his aura of badassery throughout. Clark is impressive inside the ring and he gelled well with Aleister. In what is probably match of the night, Black eventually put an end to things with the Black Mass kick for the one-two-three.</p><p> </p><p>

<hr></p><p>

<b>Lars Sullivan & Dan Matha</b> def. <b>Kishan Rafter & HoHo Lun</b> - A total squash match in favor of the big combo of Sullivan and Matha. Rafter and Lun didn't get much in against these two behemoths, with Lars and Dan controling everything. Sullivan got the pinfall following a huge spinebuster to Lun, almost breaking the Chinese superstar right in half.</p><p> </p><p>

<hr></p><p>

<b>Asuka </b>def. <b>Liv Morgan <i>to retain the NXT Women's Championship</i></b> - Morgan won this opportunity by defeating seven other women at the May 12 NXT Live Event in Dade City. Asuka and Liv put on a respectable match, showcasing Morgan's improvements in the ring. However, "The Empress of Tomorrow" won the match unexpectedly with the Asuka Lock to assert her dominance over the NXT Women's division.</p><p> </p><p>

<hr></p><p>

<b>Drew McIntyre</b> def. <b>Cezar Bononi</b> - A decent main event which acted as a showcase for "The Chosen One" Drew McIntyre. Cezar showed great fire as a babyface, with Drew playing the role of the heel for tonight. Bononi missed a double axe-handle from the top rope, with Drew kicking him in the stomach and then connecting with the Future Shock DDT for the win.</div></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></div></font></font></div></p>
