I'm the first to admit that it's still a learning curve for me so it might be a bit hit and miss initially. </p><p> </p><p> I started a 1996 rewatch last year so I'm also watching a lot of stuff around this time. Whilst Furnas and LaFon controlled much of the match, the Hardy Boyz combination of youth and energy proved too much in the long run and the Hardy Boyz picked up a well earned victory.</p><p> </p><p> Jeff Hardy came out of the match head and shoulders above everyone else, although he will be the first to admit that he was a little off his game</p><p> <strong>Grade D+ 50</strong></p><p> </p><p> Matt and Jeff thank the crowd for being on their side and promises them that they are working hard to improve and will one day go down as a Hall of Fame tag team.</p><p> </p><p> The guys aren't the best on the mic, nor in the ring, but they are only 20 and 23 and will improve heaps if given the time</p><p> <strong>Grade D+ 51</strong></p><p> </p><p> Light heavyweight Jerry Lynn takes on fellow veteran Steve Armstrong next, in Armstrong's first match for the WWF.</p><p> </p><p> The two guys had some good chemistry together, I am sure they have probably crossed paths many times outside of the WWF. Despite a hard fought debut, Lynns experience in the big leagues proved too much and he submitted Armstrong with a Cross Armbreaker</p><p> <strong>Grade D+ 49</strong></p><p> </p><p> In a night of debuts, Mike Awesome made his first appearance in a winning effort against Skull. The two guys were fairly evenly matched until the well traveled Awesome saw the opportunity and hit the Awesome Bomb for the pinfall</p><p> </p><p> Although Awesome was fine, the crowd really didn't like seeing Skull wrestle. Maybe it is time to cut him loose</p><p> <strong>Grade D- 39</strong></p><p> </p><p> With Wrestlemania just around the corner, we air a promo video to remind everyone why they should tune in</p><p> <strong>Grade A* 95</strong></p><p> </p><p> Two big bruisers in the main event of the evening as Faarooq takes on Chainz. He calls out his brother who accepts his request. Owen accuses his brother of trying to ruin his big Wrestlemania opportunity by trying to injure his leg last week. Owen starts to tell Bret that he is obviously jealous of his recent success, when Michaels music hits and he makes his way to the ring. Shawn takes a mic and agrees with Owen about Bret being jealous - an obvious attempt to antagonise Bret. </p><p> </p><p> Shawn turns his attention to Owen and reminds him of what Bret did to him last week. Shawn asks for the video of Owen Hart tapping followed by him holding his damaged leg to play. This pushes Bret to his breaking point and he tells Michaels to shut up. He turns to his brother and tries to save face by telling him he is proud of what Owen has done, but his is business and not personal. He says that if he doesn't win the title at Wrestlemania, he hopes Owen does and then they can meet in the middle of the ring in a battle of the greatest wrestling family of all time.</p><p> </p><p> As Michaels starts to warn Bret and Owen that he won't lose at Wrestlemania, I head to the ring to interrupt the argument before it gets too heated. I congratulate all three of them on making it to the main event of the biggest wrestling show of all time and tell them my plans for the three of them tonight. Each of them will have the chance to impress and build some momentum as they all do battle in singles competition. All three guys seem taken aback and try to argue my decision, but my mind is made up and Owen Hart will be up next!</p><p> <strong>Grade A* 99</strong></p><p> </p><p> Owen Hart, still suffering from his battle with his brother last week, stands waiting in the ring for his mystery opponent. A few short seconds later, some familiar music hits and Tatanka makes his way to the ring to great applause! Tatanka has been away from the WWF for two years, as he requested some time off to recover and spend time with his family. Interestingly, his last WWF match was against Bret Hart, the brother of his opponent tonight.</p><p> </p><p> Tatanka has always proved to be a tough competitor and this match was no different as he showed no sings of ring rust. He took advantage of Owen Harts injured leg, working hard for the much desired victory on his return. Unfortunately for Tatanka, Owen Hart had momentum on his side and his proved enough as he hit the Piledriver for the pinfall.</p><p> </p><p> It was great to see Tatanka back, even if he didn't win, and I am sure he will prove an important member of the roster going forward</p><p> <strong>Grade B 79</strong></p><p> </p><p> As Owen Hart heads to the back, he passes brother Bret on the ramp who is heading to the ring for his warm up match. The two share a look as Bret applauds his brothers performance.</p><p> </p><p> Bret Hart's opponent is revealed to be the tough Ahmed Johnson, who will be sure to test Bret's skills.</p><p> </p><p> Much like last week, Bret goes start to work on Johnson's legs, trying his best to slow him down and give himself the advantage. Despite some scary moments for Hart, in the end he locks in the Sharpshooter and forces Johnson to tap to risk serious damage</p><p> <strong>Grade B 78</strong></p><p> </p><p> We head to William Regal's locker room, where he is stood alongside his manager Jim Cornette. They are discussing last weeks attack on Regal by European champion Steve Blackman, when Sunny enters. She tells Regal and Cornette that they have angered Blackman with their actions and he will meet Regal in the ring at Wrestlemania and show him why he is the European champion</p><p> <strong>Grade B- 71</strong></p><p> </p><p> Tag team action next as the champions New Age Outlaws get the chance to demonstrate their tag team dominance against the team of Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. Whilst the young tag team had their moments, the New Age Outlaws were too strong and too seasoned and secured the win when Road Dogg hit Cage with a Piledriver</p><p> <strong>Grade C 63</strong></p><p> </p><p> The New Age Outlaws announce that at Wrestlemania they will face three other teams in a four team tag match for the titles. "We welcome the challenge!"</p><p> <strong>Grade B+ 84</strong></p><p> </p><p> The Rock, who is on the streak of his lifetime, does battle with Phineas I. Godwinn next. The impressive Rock was too much for Godwinn, who is more comfortable with a tag partner at his side.</p><p> <strong>Grade B- 71</strong></p><p> </p><p> Goldust comes out and congratulates The Rock. Goldust says it would be his honour to play a role in the Rock blockbuster story, but warns him that he won’t quit like the rest of his opponents. Goldust tells Rock that he may be the leading man, but every leading man needs to face adversity</p><p> <strong>Grade A* 99</strong></p><p> </p><p> Light Heavyweight champion Jushin Liger faces off against Jeff Hardy, who is taking part in a rare single competition. Hardy put on a very impressive display, holding his own against the well traveled champion. Unfortunately his inexperience proved his downfall and Liger managed to hit the Liger Bomb for the win</p><p> </p><p> I thought Hardy might look terrible compared to Liger but he really did impress me. Liger was only marginally better, despite the years more experience</p><p> <strong>Grade C- 58</strong></p><p> </p><p> Following the win, Wrestlemania host Sylvester Stallone walks towards the ring. He congratulates Liger and tells him he is a big fan. He announces that he has been granted the opportunity to make one match for Wrestlemania and he had decided that he wants it to steal the show! That is why he has picked Liger to defend his belt. In a ladder match against 5 other men!</p><p> <strong>Grade A 90</strong></p><p> </p><p> Two hard hitting Texans do battle as Steve Austin faces off against Blackjack Bradshaw. The two guys put on a really strong and at times brutal display, which ultimately Austin won when he hit the Stunner for the pinfall</p><p> <strong>Grade B 81</strong></p><p> </p><p> Austin calls out Sid who answers the call but chooses to remain at the top of the ramp. Austin tells Sid that if he won’t meet him now, he can meet him at Wrestlemania. He warns Sid that he won’t hold back and will make it his goal to end Sids career! Sid looks slightly taken aback, but in the end agrees as long as it’s for the title</p><p> <strong>Grade A* 100</strong></p><p> </p><p> The WWF champion Shawn Michaels get to show off his stuff as he does battle with his former tag team partner Marty Jannetty. Michaels didn’t have as comfortable a time as he would like, as Jannetty seemed to know what Michaels was planning and managed to avoid it every time. Michaels experience in big matches proved the difference as he managed to gain the upper hand before eventually hitting the Sweet Chin Music for the victory</p><p> <strong>Grade B 80</strong></p><p> </p><p> The main event saw Ken Shamrock face the British Bulldog in a technical master class. Shamrock, presumably trying to keep something in the tank for his big Wrestlemania match, managed to eventually secure the win when he caught the seasoned Bulldog in an Ankle Lock for the submission win</p><p> <strong>Grade B 81</strong></p><p> </p><p> Vader and Triple H joined Shamrock in the ring to celebrate when the lights go out and smoke surrounds the ring. After a few seconds of eerie silence, a swarm of hooded men appear, carrying three coffins. They place them outside the ring, before turning and leaving. Triple H, Vader and Shamrock, clearly confused by the occurrence, carefully approach the coffins, each of them standing alongside a different one. Triple H gives his team mates a nod before all three swing open the coffins, unsure as to what they might find. What they did find was three empty coffins. Confused, they regroup and discuss what just happened when four lightning bolts strike the ring, setting fire to it. We go off the air as the three of them stare at what is happening to the ring</p><p> <strong>Grade A* 100</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:18px;">Overall Rating B+ 83</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:18px;"> TV Rating 20.97</span></strong></p></div><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>---</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><em>A really good showing for the go home show before Wrestlemania, made even sweeter by beating out Nitro in quality. Their managed a B 82, falling short of our B+ 83. However, their TV ratings are still higher than ours at 22.26</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> Following the show, I received a series of emails regarding Shawn Michaels and Triple H and how they seem to be causing a lot of rifts in the locker room, turning guys against Bret Hart and anyone associated with him. Both Michaels and Triple H are in positions to lead this company to greatness, but I don’t care for this schoolyard silliness. I am not sure what I can do to stop it, so hopefully they realise the error of their ways sooner rather than later</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> British Bulldog, who just put on an impressive display against Ken Shamrock, approached me after the show and asked for some time for to recover. I don’t currently have anything planned for him so a week’s holiday would be good for him</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> We have decided to drop Kevin Kelly from Shotgun announcing duties and add the Honky Tonk Man to the table. I am hoping his experience will add some legitimacy to proceedings</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> Both Adam Copeland and BG James have relocated recently. James has decided to head to the North West whereas Copeland has laid his hat in Puerto Rico</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> Mankind has approached me regarding a pay rise. I am a big Mankind fan and I think he has a long future in the WWF so I wanted to keep him happy. I granted him the full pay rise he requested</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> In ECW news, Bam Bam Bigelow lost his ECW World Heavyweight title to Phil LaFon. LaFon features as a lower midcarder on my roster, but is a main eventer over at ECW. That shows the gulf in class between us. That being said, I am really happy for him</em></p></div><p></p>

Each guy was given a moment to shine in the match and make a name for themselves, but it was Jeff Hardy who really impressed. If it wasn't for Ligers experience in the big league, Hardy could have walked away new champion. The future is bright for this kid</p><p> <strong>Grade C- 55</strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Road_Dogg.jpg" data-src="https://s1.postimg.org/4rgmtn48nj/Road_Dogg.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Billy_Gunn_98_2.jpg" data-src="https://s1.postimg.org/3vk5e752an/Billy_Gunn_98_2.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Mosh.jpg" data-src="https://s1.postimg.org/9avfasl5bz/Mosh.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Thrasher.jpg" data-src="https://s1.postimg.org/150lygmbkf/Thrasher.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Road_Warrior_Animal_98.jpg" data-src="https://s1.postimg.org/3bcryeicfj/Road_Warrior_Animal_98.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Road_Warrior_Hawk_98.jpg" data-src="https://s1.postimg.org/1jjt3i3x0f/Road_Warrior_Hawk_98.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="D_Lo_Brown_99.jpg" data-src="https://s1.postimg.org/3t2tmzxv9r/D_Lo_Brown_99.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="The_Godfather_98.jpg" data-src="https://s1.postimg.org/4ep8ngk1fj/The_Godfather_98.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Tag team action next as the rampaging New Age Outlaws continue in their quest to prove they are the best tag team in the world. So far they have beaten every single team put in front of them, but tonight they must beat a trio of teams!</p><p> </p><p> The New Age Outlaws hit the ring first to a riotous applause. These guys are real crowd favourites right now. As they cut a promo to remind the world they are the best, they are interrupted by a familiar theme song as the Legion of Doom head to the ring. The two teams start fighting before the next two teams have even made their way to ring. This prompts the Headbangers to charge down and join in the commotion. The final team of the night, D'Lo and Godfather, slowly make their way to the ring whilst laughing at what awaits them. After watching from ringside for several minutes, they enter the ring and the match officially starts.</p><p> </p><p> What follows was a decent, if a little crowded, match. The four teams took turns in locking horns whilst the rest of the guys used the distraction to gather their senses and have a breather. The ending came as Billy Gunn founds himself in the ring alone with Mosh. Gunn used this opportunity to hit the Gunn Slinger for the win</p><p> <strong>Grade C- 70</strong></p><p> </p><p> The New Age Outlaws celebrate another successful night as the commentary team discuss whats next in store for the champions</p><p> <strong>Grade B 79</strong></p><p> </p><p> We air a short video package showcasing the life of Brian Pillman who sadly lost his life recently. As the video finishes, we cut to the ring where 15 competitors are stood ready to do battle in the Brian Pillman tribute battle royal.</p><p> </p><p> This was not only a chance to honour a great wrestler who was taken too soon, but also an opportunity to give a Wrestlemania bonus to some well deserved guys who we had nothing for. </p><p> </p><p> The match was nothing special, as so often is the case in battle royals involving lower to mid carders. In the end, The Sultan proved too strong for the rest of the field as he dumped Blackjack Bradshaw over the top rope for the win. </p><p> <strong>Grade C 60</strong></p><p> </p><p> Stallone enters the ring and hands Sultan the Brian Pillman tribute trophy, who hands it to Jackal as they make their way to the back. Stallone once again uses his charisma to spur up the crowd and get them excited, before he is interrupted by Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett is angry at being left off of the biggest show of all time and tells the crowd that it is disgusting that a "washed up actor" has such a prominent role. This prompts Stallone to challenge Jarrett to a match right here and right now!</p><p> <strong>Grade A* 99</strong></p><p> </p><p> The match was kept short to mask Stallones lack of wrestling ability and ended up being a glorified squash to give the fans something to cheer. Jarrett started the match by continually feigning a lock up before stepping away and stretching off in the corner. After the fourth time at attempted this, Stallone threw a big right hand that landed square on Jarretts chin, knocking him out cold.</p><p> </p><p> The match did exactly what was expected of it and the crowd cheered loudly as Stallone was declared the winner and Jarrett was helped to the back by the officials. Interestingly, Stallones greenness was evident as Jarrett approached me after the show to complain that Stallone injured him with a botched move</p><p> <strong>Grade B- 76</strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="The_Undertaker_97.jpg" data-src="https://s1.postimg.org/9122otod7j/The_Undertaker_97.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Kane_13.jpg" data-src="https://s1.postimg.org/91eu2zlfz3/Kane_13.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Mankind_2.jpg" data-src="https://s1.postimg.org/1uncpnqslb/Mankind_2.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Triple_H_19.jpg" data-src="https://s1.postimg.org/3qcowfx37z/Triple_H_19.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Vader_7.jpg" data-src="https://s1.postimg.org/5b2fvx0ifz/Vader_7.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Ken_Shamrock_2.jpg" data-src="https://s1.postimg.org/482ql1a96n/Ken_Shamrock_2.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Our co-main event of the night sees The Ministry face off against long term rivals Triple H, Vader and Ken Shamrock. These guys have been at war for a while now and both teams will look to finish off their opponents once and for all.</p><p> </p><p> The match started slow, with no one team managing to gain the upper hand. Anytime one team started to look like their would take charge, the fellow team members would interfere and break things up.</p><p> </p><p> Momentum really started to shift when the battle moved to ringside and the Ministry went to work on their opponents, using the barriers and commentary tables as weapons. With Mankind and Triple H doing battle on the ramp and Undertaker and Vader fighting in the ring, Kane used this opportunity to chokeslam Shamrock through the Spanish announce table. The Ministry used this man advantage to really take charge. Kane joined his stablemate Mankind on the rampway as they beat down Triple H. At this point, Undertaker hit Vader with a Chokeslam for the win at the 25 minute mark.</p><p> </p><p> The guys really put on a show and far surpassed my expectations.</p><p> <strong>Grade A* 100</strong></p><p> </p><p> The three Ministry members gathered in the ring as the lights go off. A moment of eerie silence is broken by the sound of thunder as flames shoot up from the ring posts. What followed next was a series of gongs as a crowd of masked men head towards the ring carrying three coffins. The fallen wrestlers were then placed in the coffins before being carried off to the back</p><p> <strong>Grade A* 100</strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Shawn_Michaels_9.jpg" data-src="https://s1.postimg.org/6lxfq7xr5r/Shawn_Michaels_9.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Bret_Hart_14.jpg" data-src="https://s1.postimg.org/6lxfq81m1r/Bret_Hart_14.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Owen_Hart_97_3.jpg" data-src="https://s1.postimg.org/32o9eknttr/Owen_Hart_97_3.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Its main event time and they have a lot of work to do to beat the previous match. I decided to give these guys time to work as they are all exceptional talents. Whilst the match didn't outdo the Ministry match, they still put on an impressive main event which the crowd was really behind. The guys went out there and played up the various stories involved; the Hart brothers not trusting one another, the hatred between Shawn and Bret and Owen chasing his first world title.</p><p> </p><p> The ending came as Bret Hart looked certain to win the title off of Shawn Michaels when he had him locked in the Sharpshooter in the middle of the ring. Just as Michaels was about to tap, Owen charges Bret from behind, striking him in the back of the head. Michaels used this opportunity to roll out the ring and gather his senses, whilst Owen grabs his brother and hits him with a Piledriver. Owen appears to have a moment of crisis regarding costing his brother another chance at the title, but in the end he decides to lock in a Sharpshooter of his own. He drags Bret to the middle of the ring, who has no choice but to tap out.</p><p> <strong>Grade B+ 87</strong></p><p> </p><p> Owen releases the hold and is handed the title by the referee. He falls to the floor in tears and the show goes off the air as confetti rains down on an emotional Owen Hart</p><p> <strong>Grade A* 97</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:18px;">OVERALL GRADE B+ 86</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:18px;"> PPV BUY RATE 0.48</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>---</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><em>After the show I took Owen to one side and gave him a big hug. First out is the brawling Irishman, Fit Finley. Finley - who has claimed back to back victories over the Blackjacks - faces off against Bob Holly.</p><p> </p><p> Holly, who hasn't been in the best of form as of late, showed why he is well respected within the squared circle with his early onslaught, however the experience of Finley ultimately proved too much and he secured the three count by way of Tombstone Piledriver</p><p> <strong>Grade C- 54</strong></p><p> </p><p> Next up sees relative WWF newcomer Lance Storm do battle with the Japanese Junior TAKA. Whilst TAKA may have more experience in the WWF ring, Storms rich technical background helped carry him to a submission victory via the Canadian Maple Leaf.</p><p> </p><p> What Storm lacks in charisma, he more than makes up for in ring prowess. If nurtured right, he could have a long and successful future.</p><p> </p><p> Unfortunately, TAKA seemed to have a bit of an off day and it affected the match.</p><p> <strong>Grade C- 55</strong></p><p> </p><p> We air a short promo video which highlights the Wrestlemania main event and ends with a shot of Owen Hart celebrating in the ring.</p><p> <strong>Grade A* 100</strong></p><p> </p><p> This leads right into tag team action as the Headbangers and the Godwinns lock horns. Godwinn with the Stage Dive</p><p> <strong>Grade C- 54</strong></p><p> </p><p> The main event of the evening saw the rampaging Sultan square off against veteran Marty Jannetty. Hart thanks the fans for supporting him over the years and sends a special thank you to his brother Bret for pushing him to the next level by constantly challenging him to be better. He informs the fans that Bret will be away for a while as he has a few injuries that he has been working through, but that he will be back and better than ever and Owen is prepared to once again go to war with him when he returns.</p><p> </p><p> Finally, Owen thanks Shawn Michaels. Owen recalls the checkered history between Bret and Shawn and tells the crowd that watching those two world class wrestlers really taught him a lot about what separates the top dogs from the guys that will never be good enough to hold the WWF title. With this, he asks the audience to give a round of applause for his Wrestlemania opponents, which they happily obliged.</p><p> </p><p> Next Owen turns his attention to what is next. He informs the crowd that this is the first day of what will be a long and successful reign at the top of the WWF food chain and that he is prepared to face everyone that earns the chance. With this, he is interrupted by what has become very familiar music to him as former champion Shawn Michaels approaches the ring.</p><p> </p><p> Michaels wastes no time getting to the point and he demands his WWF championship rematch right here tonight. Despite Owen offering to postpone the match until Unforgiven in order to give Michaels some time to recover from last nights grueling match, Shawn demands it is tonight before dropping the mic and heading to the back to prepare before Owen even had time to reply.</p><p> <strong>Grade A* 100</strong></p><p> </p><p> Following on from his Wrestlemania victory over Goldust, The Rock looks to continue his win streak and make in 17 singles wins in a row at the expense of Ahmed Johnson.</p><p> </p><p> The Rock really showed ring awareness far greater than his 2 years experience warranted and he dominated the majority of the match against the large brawler. The two guys actually put on a great wrestling match and seemed to really click in the ring together which really helped keep the fans invested right up until the point that The Rock hit Johnson with his signature move, the Rock Bottom.</p><p> <strong>Grade B- 72</strong></p><p> </p><p> As Rocky celebrates, he is once again greeted by an ominous gold light followed by Goldusts creepy voice. Goldust congratulates Rock on another great victory over a really tough Johnson, but warns Rocky that he got lucky at Wrestlemania as Goldust underestimated Rocks leading man qualities. Now, however, he has sussed Rock out and he knows what he has to do in order to be the last man standing when the climatic scene ends</p><p> <strong>Grade A* 96</strong></p><p> </p><p> William Regal and his manager Jim Cornette cockily head to the ring, flaunting their new European championship to the booing crowd. </p><p> </p><p> He won't be defending his title tonight as he goes one on one with a wrestler who is more comfortable in the tag team division in the shape of Matt Hardy. The young lion gave it his all in his chance to shine and it was his willingness to take a risk that ultimately proved his downfall as he missed a top rope leg drop before Regal locked in the Regal Stretch for the submission victory</p><p> <strong>Grade C+ 67</strong></p><p> </p><p> No sooner had Cornette presented Regal with his title belt when Blackman came storming to the ring, with Sunny following behind him - high heels in hand. </p><p> </p><p> This would-be attack proved enough to scare Regal and Cornette enough to make a quick exit through the crowd, letting them live to fight another day.</p><p> </p><p> Interestingly, Sunny came across quiet stale here. I might have to tweak her gimmick slightly soon</p><p> <strong>Grade C+ 70</strong></p><p> </p><p> We cut to the back as Tag Team champions the New Age Outlaws greet us. They start reeling off the list of teams that they have beaten in recent history, including the three teams that they beat at the Grandest Stage of Them All last night. They say that is it now obvious that they are the greatest tag team champions of all time and that there isn't a team in the world that are worthy of sharing a ring with them. For that reason, they are treating themselves to the night off, but will be back next week to see if a new "threat" emerges</p><p> <strong>Grade B+ 86</strong></p><p> </p><p> The three Ministry members have proven unstoppable recently and Mankind continued that impressive display of dominance again tonight by controlling Chainz on his way to a win. </p><p> </p><p> The two guys actually performed pretty well together and the crowd really got behind them</p><p> <strong>Grade B 79</strong></p><p> </p><p> Mankind is joined in the ring by his fellow Ministry members who watch as a team of hooded people carry three coffins down the walkway and leave them placed outside the ring. </p><p> </p><p> As has become tradition, Undertaker takes the lead in the mouthpiece department and he congratulates his Ministry brothers on another dominant display last night in disposing of Triple H, Vader and Shamrock. Taker admits that the three of them proved worthy competitors for the Ministry and acknowledges that they will no doubt return stronger and seeking revenge, but by then the Ministry will be even stronger and will be well on their way to taking over the wrestling world. With this, Lightening rains down from the skies, setting fire to the three coffins as the Ministry leave triumphantly</p><p> <strong>Grade A* 100</strong></p><p> </p><p> We next air a video recorded at Wrestlemania of Steve Austin fresh from his victory over Sid Vicious. Austin, with beer in hand, calls Sid a stupid SOB for thinking he can challenge him before warning the rest of the roster that he won't stop until he is the top dog in the whole WWF. He ends the segment by downing his open beer before opening a second and pouring in over the camera</p><p> <strong>Grade A* 100</strong></p><p> </p><p> Sultan, who has looked more impressive with each performance, did battle with the debuting veteran Norman Smiley. Wily Smiley used his experience to put Sultan in danger several times, but in the end the brute force of Sultan proved too much </p><p> <strong>Grade C- 56</strong></p><p> </p><p> Wrestlemania host Sylvester Stallone makes his way down to the ring as the fans all stand and give him a round of applause. He grabs a mic and thanks the fans for letting him appear at Wrestlemania. He tells everyone that it has always been a dream of his and it was made even better because he was given the opportunity to shut Jeff Jarretts big mouth. He tells the fans that he would love to return one day and tells them that he hopes that they enjoy the rest of the show. </p><p> </p><p> As he makes his way towards the ropes, Jeff Jarrett appears, looking scorned as he heads towards the ring. Jarrett demands Stallone gets back into the ring and face him once again so that Jarrett can atone for the mistake that is Wrestlemania. Stallone tries to laugh him off by telling Jarrett that he isn't a wrestler, but Jarrett sees red and charges at Stallone. We have a match</p><p> <strong>Grade B+ 85</strong></p><p> </p><p> Wiry of Stallones knock out punch, Jarrett tries to use his wrestling experience to get Stallone down to the mat. Unfortunately, Stallone proved too strong and he shrugs Jarrett off before landing a KO punch for the knock out victory</p><p> <strong>Grade C 60</strong></p><p> </p><p> Ahead of the main event of the night, we air a promo video detailing Owen Harts path to his first world title</p><p> <strong>Grade A 89</strong></p><p> </p><p> With Shawn Michaels in the ring waiting for him, Owen Hart makes his first walk to the ring as champion. Michaels, clearly angry that Hart is getting the fan attention that he so craves, greets Hart on the walk way where they start to brawl. The two guys spend a few minutes at ringside going at it before Michaels throws Hart in the ring to officially start the match. What followed was the type of wrestling masterclass that we have come to expect of Michaels and Hart. The two wrestlers had wonderful chemistry together and put on an exceptional match that wouldn't have looked out of place headlining Wrestlemania. </p><p> </p><p> The ending came when Michaels hit the Sweet Chin Music on Hart before going for the pin. The champion, no doubt spurred on by the thought of losing his newly won title at the first attempt, kicked out after 2.9 seconds, angering the already raging Michaels further. HBK prepares for a second Sweet Chin Music, but Hart comes to just in time and ducks underneath before connecting with a stiff mid kick setting up for the Piledriver followed by a Sharpshooter. Michaels tried his hardest to break the hold, but eventually had to tap out or face passing out.</p><p> </p><p> Defence one of Harts WWF title is in the book!</p><p> <strong>Grade B 81</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:18px;">Overall Rating B+ 83</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:18px;"> TV Rating 21.29</span></strong></p></div><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>---</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><em>Another impressive RAW and a great showing for the new champion.
