<p>Might get this as well. I heard it's great to let AI sim matches and run your own universe. The CaW mode also seems amazingly detailed (though Lesnar CaW's aren't that great imo). And there's an MMA rules mod. So many options. Much bang for your buck. </p><p> </p><p>

Would be all over this if C-verse was in.</p>

<p>One more question, on Steam Workshop, I see loads of wrestler mods but no ring mods. Are ring mods not shared on Workshop yet?</p><p> </p><p>

EDIT: Nevermind, I see ring is only basic edits, and only wrestler/referees are on Workshop.</p>

<p>In truth Blackman, I personally feel that's it's much better for simming than playing. The edits are getting better and better as time passes, though I do agree with you on Lesnar. No-one has nailed his appearance yet.</p><p> </p><p>

Also, remember that this is still in Early Access atm - that's not stopping me having an absolute blast with it already - and that there is more to come. A promoter / GM mode has been confirmed. MP3 support is coming. I do hope that they add rings and belts to the Workshop, though they have confirmed that a logo editor is currently being worked on.</p>

Looking forward to the Management mode. Been playing this afternoon and I'm really enjoying it.</p><p> </p><p> One more dumb question, when setting a roster as babyface/heel/neutral does it matter? Is it just a cosmetic thing for easy management or does this set the wrestlers alignment?</p>

The alignment doesn't appear to do too much at present. One thing I have discovered is that workers need to be in the same stable in order for interference to occur when using seconds. So you'd need to have Heyman in the same group as Lesnar for instance.

<p>As far as Lesnar goes, in my opinion Deranged-Stu has blown the competition out of the water with his seen <a href="http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1040530501" rel="external nofollow">HERE</a>. Stu is a long standing member of the Fire Pro community and his edits for FPWR are off the hook. Hes only done a handful for World so far, but has devised a plan for future edits hes putting out.</p><p> </p><p>

Its also important to remember, that its not just about how good a wrestler looks in this game. There is a huge amount that goes into (or should at least) into creating the AI for any given wrestler. I personally would rather have an edit that maybe wasn't perfect in appearance but who's AI was spot on rather than the spot on appearance but they wrestled like a doofer.</p>

I've edited over a dozen CAWs this past week to get the hair, costumes and body size looking more accurate. Lucha masks are a pain, though! <p>So, how do you guys organise your wrestlers? I'm just looking for some ideas. At first I was going to do this, all set to neutral alignment:</p><p> </p><p>

WWE</p><p>

- RAW</p><p>

- SDL</p><p>

- NXT</p><p> </p><p>

Modern</p><p>

- ROH</p><p>

- GFW/TNA</p><p>

- NJPW</p><p>

- Other</p><p> </p><p>

Legends</p><p>

- WWE</p><p>

- WCW</p><p>

- ECW</p><p>

- Other</p><p> </p><p>

MMA</p><p>

- UFC</p><p>

- PRIDE</p><p>

- Other</p><p> </p><p>

But now I'm thinking it'd be better to seperare everyone into a correct face/heel divide, so what do you guys do?</p>

So, how do you guys organise your wrestlers?

I did do a setup very similar to how you listed yours originally, but I'm thinking that separating them into the proper alignment groups would be beneficial. I am now toying with ..

WWE RAW

- Face

- Heel

- Staff

WWE SDL

- Face

- Heel

- Staff

.. and so on. I'd also be interested to hear how others are doing this. :)

For 250+ CAWs. Lots of categories to make match selection quicker. Didn't bother with Stables or Trios -- I just choose a leader (like Omega) and an associated tag team (like Young Bucks) or throw random wrestlers together. Can't be bothered with a brand split without a management mode.

Main Roster (eg. WWE):

Male - Babyface

Male - Heel

Female - Babyface

Female - Heel

Tag Team - Babyface (Male Only)

Tag Team - Heel (Male Only)

Secondary Roster (eg. NXT):

Male - Babyface

Male - Heel

Female - Babyface

Female - Heel

Cruiserweight Roster (Male only):

Babyface

Heel

Legends Roster:

Male

Female

Much like OOTP, most of my Fire Pro joy comes out of simming... and it's a lot more fun (at least for me) than some might expect. I can't wait to get started working on all my own wrestlers. Hopefully, I'll be able to do some ringwork as well - I'd love me a mat that looks something like my Avatar.

<p>milamber: re, Lucha Masks - A really good way to do lucha masks is to start just from a base (using either Rey Mysterio Jr.'s mask near the beginning of the heads just for convenience, or commit to scrolling a lot ways down for different mask bases, or ALLLLLLL the way down for the "generic" mask that was at the end of the Fire Pro Returns head list) and then with only the Mask filter on, piece together the masks bit by bit (obviously, having the mask reference pic next to the window will be a huge help).</p><p> </p><p>

I used the piecemeal method to recreate my FreedoM mask by modifying the HEAT (Minoru Tanaka) mask to more resemble Sexy Star's.</p><p>

<p>So I finally got the game today... and it seems to run alright on my machine, though I've yet to simulate a match. So far, all I've done is mess around a little with the editor. And I think... I have a lot to learn. Not 100% sure just what I'm doing yet, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it sooner or later. </p><p> </p><p>

Looks fun so far.</p>

<strong>PPV Score: 85.5%</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Favorite match:</strong> Sami Callihan vs KUSHIDA. 20 minute back-and-forth with superb chemistry.</p><p>

<strong>Underrated match:</strong> Aries vs Gallagher in a brutal submission-style barnstormer.</p><p>

<strong>Worst match:</strong> Los Ingernobles vs Titus Brand was a flop. I wasn't paying attention but I'm sure it was Titus' fault <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p>

<strong>Surprise Result:</strong> Bayley knocking off Asuka in her 2nd title defense. I might have to check their stats in the editor...</p><p>

<strong>Stats:</strong> Worst rated PPV but still solid. 7/10 champions retained.</p>

<p>Been waiting for someone else to post in this thread, because it seemed weird somehow to be posting right behind myself, but... oh well.</p><p> </p><p>

I can't say enough good things about those NWA edits. Been playing around with those, and... it's been awesome! If Fire Pro only had Wargames, then it'd be truly epic!</p><p> </p><p>

Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat just churned out a match that was evaluated at 100%!!!!! Who could have seen that one coming? </p><p> </p><p>

<p>I'm still loving FPWW too. Simming quite a lot as I run a small promotion using a spreadsheet that I've put together for myself. I'm using a modern era setup at the moment, but I've also completed the prep work so that I can have a second promotion going with workers from across the eras. Bit like a War Of The Immortals approach.</p><p> </p><p>

Mind you. I've had as much fun tweaking the stats of workshop edits to use so that they have a unified scale. Something that could be an issue if using the work of multiple creators. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
