K-Nection
<p>I can say that my photobucket was not hit yet....and I have been dreading the day it might. I'm curious on why they are selectively targeting people? It just seems odd to me but I've used the site for the better half of a decade and it pains me to move.</p><p> </p><p> Edit: After reading into the situation more I'm glad I wasn't locked yet because I had some photos that I really wanted to save. I downloaded all that I wanted to keep so if photobucket does nuke my photos I haven't lost all of my work. This knee jerk reaction from them is alarming and I can't understand why they randomly changed their terms of service and started holding people's pictures for ransom. Tactics like these don't keep businesses in business for long.</p>

Andylion
If anyone wants any image hosting i have created a site for it. TEW Image Hosting This is the first time i have done something like this. any issues with it send me an message. I love that this exists. A bit nitpicky on my end, but is there a way to get smaller versions of an image without uploading them separately? Like on photobucket, how I could copy the url of the smaller image/preview and it would show up as a smaller version in the thread? I liked being able to do that for managers, but if it's not a thing I can do easily here it's not a deal-breaker by any means.

I always wondered how people did that, if there was a trick to shrink the picture or whether they uploaded a smaller image....now I know and I cant even do it because photobucket is obsolete

dnmt
Just want to add my name to the list of people ticked off by this. I was planning to get back to my NJPW diary today, but literally every post used one small little logo from Photobucket that's now gone. I am probably just going to start anew, and already began building my new game. Unfortunate for us all.

Beejus
Out of curiosity about that. So my usual picture size is 100x100. If I plug a picture of that size in, then if I use the shrink code it'll just go down to 25% of that? If math is with me, that would make it about 75x75, which is what my manager pictures usually run anyways. So that would be awfully handy if so. So if you're like me and don't have the time to resize the manager pics, just upload what's already in the cuts folders and choose the appropriate BB code that imgur provides.</p>
