He is a true master at getting the crowd to pop and will go to any lengths to do it. Whether he is exposing part of his opponent's skull from a chair shot or saying something so vulgar that offends the local bar down the road from the event.

The Shocker is extremely durable as he is early in his career but with his current skill set he might need to learn how to work the crowd correctly if he is going to have any true length to his career.

Club Exotico

For anyone who isn't familia with Mexican wrestling there is a sub-genre of Luchadors called Exotico's they are psuedo drag queens. Whilst they used to make out that it was all an act since the 80's many have come out openly. They tend to challenge the machismo common in traditional Mexican culture.

Great ring psychology and flashy showmanship mask solid technical skills. Not a great high flyer by lucha standards.

He has really, really good psychology and uses that and his mat and chain wrestling skillset to tell stories in ring.

I desperately want things like Exoticos - Guys dressed like Tax inspectors or weird gimmicks like being based on the 7 deadly Sins. That's what works for me - not Randy Orton - whose just a vaguely menacing guy - if I want to see a couple of vaguely menacing guys fight I can go down the street to the local club on a Friday night and wait for the inevitable.

Bio: James Smith is one of the finest young wrestlers on the independent scene. Training since he was thirteen, debuting at sixteen and never ceasing to train, he has excellent skills. He can brawl, fly and chain several submission holds in a minute. However, he has one major flaw. He's the least charismatic person in the world. Having an "average" look he also lacks any kind of mic skills and it's said that once he tried to cut a promo on a live show but it went so terribly wrong that by the end of it, when the actual match was starting, 90% of the crowd was either on the bathroom, at the bar or on their way home.

Born and raised in Hollywood, Starr started to get in trouble when he reached his teens. In an attempt to keep him out of gangs and the like he was sent off to live with his grandmother in Forth Worth, Texas. With little to do in the town he started to attend a boxing gym twice a week but it was the late night wrestling classes taught at the gym that really piqued his interest. After showing real ability in the ring Starr was booked on the small shows held by the gym students around Texas before heading out nationally onto the independent scene.

His in ring persona mixes the flash of Hollywood with the grit of Texas, where he is able to withstand lots of punishment while levelling his opponent with insane high risk aerial moves.

After graduating college, GEW signed the former NCAA wrestling champion to a contract sending him to their development promotion SENE to learn the professional wrestling business. Thunder excelled and was promoted to the main roster within a year. Thunder received a strong push upon debut impressing senior officials with his wrestling ability and strong microphone skills with rumoured talk of a European title reign on the horizon.

Then one fateful night his world came crashing down. After a show Thunder and a number of the GEW roster headed out to a bar. A rowdy patron began to hassle some of the female members of the group, when Thunder intervened a fight broke out resulting in the patron being in a coma for several months and suffering permanent brain damage.

Sentenced to jail time, Thunder has recently been released after serving eighteen months in jail. Once a well groomed, clean shaven babyface, Thunder now sports several tattoos and a unkempt look. The question is jail has obviously effected his outward appearance but how has it effected him mentally and in the ring and will anyone give him the chance to resurrect his career.
