I use gimp and i did this:

Drag and drop your picture to gimp, then choose Layer/Transparency/Add Alpha Channel to remove the background later.(you won't see the result, but that's ok)

Then choose the free select tool (the lasso) and cut the picture

if connected, choose Select/Invert or press Ctrl+I and finally press del on your keyboard to cut the picture.

Important step: save the picture as .png file to your desktop by adding .png at the end of your picture. It must look like this: Adam Cole.png

.png is important, because the background is not represented. If you save als .jpg, a background is automatically created, which would not make sense.

clean gimp by removing the picture.

Then drag and drop the background and the picture.

now you have to scale the picture by choosing the layer with your cut and right click on that layer. Now choose scale layer.

And of course you can move the picture with the move tool.

Save it as .jpg.

If you undo your actions, press ctrl+z

you can simplify it by searching for .png files (without background) then you don't have to cut.

Sorry for the english.

^ Something I didn't put in my very long PM. lol. SAVE THE PICTURE AS PNG! Not the finished worker, with the background. But, the one you cut, that now has no background. Save that shit! Pretty much every pic you see me post, I have a blank .png file saved of just the worker, logo, whatever it may be. Learned the hard way early on that if I ever decided to use another background, I had to freaking recut EVERYTHING. This way you can just copy and paste on the newer background, and go from a 5 minute job, to 30 seconds. lol.

The cut you posted looks pretty good for being newer. I chose to learn back in the day, because of two things. 1. I hated having to post so many pics, and then hoping the cutter would get to it, and do it the way I wanted. and 2. I needed a hobby.

To me, it worked out great, because as you've noticed, I have a certain look in my cuts, so I can utilize them as best as I, personally, wanted, just as you can once you get it all settled in.

Cuts are good, can't do it better.

Thank you for that comment, i hope one day to be as good as everybody else, i know everybody likes certain styles amd stuff....like FATALS style of cuts is my preference and gets me involved into the game more and with the wrestlers i'm using..... So basically i'm ripping off his style which i hope he is ok with.

I used to use drop shadow for logos, until i swapped backgrounds. In other areas, non TEW, I use effects all the time.

I think I use -25, or something right around there, on the rotate tool. That one is slightly trickier at times, because you have to figure out how big to make it, but still have to rotate it as well.
