FUJI) TO RETAIN THE WWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS IN THE RAW BOWL | The rules are simple, any member of any team can be tagged in at any time, and the two legal competitors must make contact before tagging out. After a member of a tag team has been pinned or has been submitted, both members of the team will be eliminated from the Raw Bowl! The action was fast-paced from the start as Billy Gunn and Bart Gunn fought valiantly to retain their WWF Tag Team championships. The first team eliminated was the duo of the Intercontinental Champion Razor Ramon and Savio Vega after Goldust appeared at the entranceway, causing the distraction on Ramon that led to Owen Hart securing a quick rollup to eliminate “THE BAD GUY” and “THE PUERTO RICAN SENSATION”. The next team out of the Raw Bowl would be 1-2-3 Kid and Psycho Sid, after Billy took out 1-2-3 Kid following a leg drop from the second rope. Jim Cornette and Mr. Fuji tried their best to assist Hart and Yokozuna from the sidelines, but a miscommunication between Yokozuna and Owen led to Owen being squished by the Bonzai Drop! After Bart delivered a lariat with such brute force that it forced Yokozuna to roll out of the ring, Billy dropped down for the pinfall to secure the victory.

Still to come tonight, The Smoking Gunns will be presented with the Lombardi Trophy! Also tonight, we will go inside Billionaire Ted’s Wrasslin’ Warroom for the first time ever! Hendrix noted that the WWF Tag Team Champions, The Smoking Gunns, will receive the Lombardi Trophy later on in the broadcast. Also noted is to stay tuned for the huge match between “BIG DADDY COOL” Diesel and “KING” Mabel. Hendrix tossed it to Jim Ross, who stood outside Diesel’s locker room wanting a word with “BIG DADDY COOL”. Diesel refused to leave the locker room, but Ross noted that he can hear the big Diesel training hard inside the locker room, obviously prepared to face a man such as King Mabel.

Ramon knocked on every door and very madly opened one only to interrupt a meeting between “THE MILLION DOLLAR MAN” Ted DiBiase, 1-2-3 Kid, and Psycho Sid. The Million Dollar Corporation was not too pleased by the interruption, but Razor quickly left the room only for his buttocks’ to be grabbed by the gloved hands of Goldust. Ramon, initially pissed off, gave chase to Goldust backstage. Ramon couldn’t keep up, however, as Goldust quickly left the arena and hopped into a nearby waiting getaway car.

Kicking things off, Hunter Hearst Helmsley did keep things in the ring to try and leave Godwinn’s bucket of slop out of the ring. However, with the known alliance between Hillbilly Jim and Henry O. Godwinn, the “PIG FARMER” had the clear advantage throughout. As the action spilled out near the hog pen, the match came to a close as Hunter backdropped “THE PIG FARMER” into the Hog Pen to pick up the win. Hunter Hearst Helmsley may have won the match, but Henry O. Godwinn won the war at In Your House as he dragged “THE GREENWICH SNOB” into the Hog Pen and threw him around in the slop. The pigs squealed and Hunter was disgusted, but the records books will always show that HHH was the better man on this night.

While drinking some Lipton Brisk Iced Tea, the Brooklyn Brawler entered the room and presented the Raw Bowl champions with the Lombardi Trophy: a literal trophy with Brawler’s face taped on top. Billy and Bart shook their heads as Brawler stated that they should be happy to win the best trophy in the world. Brawler then ate his words as the band of WWF wrestlers beat him down and dumped an entire cooler of Iced Tea on the Brawler.

As soon as the bell rung, Diesel ran forward and smoked the king right in the face with a big boot that secured him the victory at only 10 seconds into the match! Diesel celebrated his victory to a loud roar from the crowd, but Sir Mo looked to deflate the crowd as he attacked “BIG DADDY COOL” from behind. Diesel, however, was prepared as he quickly dispatched of Sir Mo as well, leaving him flat and out with a huge Jackknife Powerbomb! Who can stop Diesel ahead of the Royal Rumble match? In fact, who can stop Diesel IN the Royal Rumble match?

As Raw comes to a close, the broadcast switches to Billionaire Ted’s Wrasslin’ Warroom as “BILLIONAIRE TED” asked his panel of creative writers and WWF rejects in the form of “THE HUCKSTER”, “THE NACHO MAN”, and “SCHEME GENE” on what they could do to face the WWF in war. The only obvious answer was to copy every storyline the World Wrestling Federation has done in the eighties. The finishing touch, in which “BILLIONAIRE TED” was most happy about was the idea of “THE HUKSTER” facing “THE NACHO MAN” in a match that everybody and their mother has seen at least three dozen times already. That’s the type of action you will find in “BILLIONAIRE TED”’s Wrasslin’ Show, old and outdated wrestling, but in the World Wrestling Federation… the New Generation reigns supreme and brings to you fresh and exciting matches and stories! The World Wrestling Federation, where the focus is on the next generation of Superstars, and not a bunch of old guys who should have retired years ago!

Ross also notes that a special encore presentation of The Undertaker vs. King Mabel Casket Match will be shown, as well! But enough of an introduction, let’s go straight to the action as Ahmed Johnson makes his entrance to a sizeable reaction from the crowd.

THE ROYAL SPIDER (with JERRY “THE KING” LAWLER) | This match was originally set to be Ahmed Johnson versus Jerry Lawler, but due to a “fracture” in his leg, Lawler had to pull out of the contest. The Royal Spider was an apt substitute, being royal himself, but he couldn’t handle “THE PEARL RIVER POWERHOUSE”. Even with a Lawler distraction to his benefit, The Royal Spider fell victim to the Pearl River Plunge that allowed Johnson to secure the victory via pinfall.

Ahmed Johnson returned to his feet and celebrated the victory, as Jerry “THE KING” Lawler was not impressed at ringside. “If Johnson is able to hit that Pearl River Plunge at the Royal Rumble, he’ll be able to put away Jeff Jarrett” exclaimed Ross. “I just don’t know if Johnson is perfect enough to beat double J.” argued “MR. PERFECT” Curt Hennig as the two bickered back and forth. A graphic is then shown promoting Isaac Yankem’s WWF Superstars match – up next!

However, Isaac Yankem controlled most of the match using his raw strength to overpower his lesser opponent. Yankem finally put Connor out of his misery by connecting with the DDS maneuver and it showcased a laughing gas type effect on Connor – effectively knocking him out, allowing Yankem to secure the pinfall for the victory.

Also, the Royal Rumble Match is on its way to becoming the biggest match of the year as new names have been added to the match: “MAKE A DIFFERENCE” Fatu, Doug Gilbert, “THE WINNER” Barry Horowitz, and “THE ARABIAN EXTREMIST” Sabu! The Royal Rumble Match is shaping up, and more contestant reveals will be announced on Monday Night Raw! But now, we return to WWF Superstars!

His guest at this time is none other than WWF Intercontinental Champion “THE BAD GUY” Razor Ramon! Ramon was met with a hero’s welcome from the Federation fans. Hennig had one simple question for the Intercontinental champ: was he afraid of the machismo of Goldust. “MR. PERFECT” used a few descriptive adjectives to describe “THE BIZZARE ONE”, all of which drew the ire of Ramon. Ramon stated that he is not afraid of “beating the androgynous right out of Goldust”. Hennig then presented a gift for Razor, which was given to him by Goldust right before the interview, in the form of a gold stuffed teddy bear that wore a bra. Ramon was disgusted and threw the bear down to the ring mat before stating that the interview is over. Ramon left the ring, holding the WWF Intercontinental Championship, as Ross questioned if Goldust was in the head of the champion ahead of their Intercontinental Championship match at the Royal Rumble event.

Both men traded hard shots throughout, showing their disdain for one another after an unsuccessful run as a tag team late last year. With Sunny at ringside, Skip displayed his cockiness throughout, however it almost cost him as Radford continued his battle for victory. Radford did have Skip down and out and pinned following a jumping cutter, but with the referee distracted by Sunny, an identical twin of Skip’s jumped into the ring and hit Radford with a knee to the back of the head that allowed Skip to win the match, after the twin rolled the two competitors over, via pinfall.

Rad Radford held the back of his head and he is clearly not happy with the result of the match. “Who is that new Bodydonna?” questioned Jim Ross, but the questioned remained unanswered.

A Monday Night Raw replay was shown that highlighted last week’s main event between “BIG DADDY COOL” Diesel and “KING” Mabel. In a bout that last only ten seconds, Diesel nearly kicked Mabel’s head off his shoulders and secured the pinfall. The television feed cut to a backstage promo from “BIG DADDY COOL” who remains very upset for not getting the WWF Championship Match at the Royal Rumble. Diesel promises to win the Royal Rumble Match to secure himself the main event Championship match at WrestleMania XII!

King Mabel and The Undertaker both hit hard and used their power maneuvers to their advantage. Mabel originally had the match won with the help from Sir Mo, but they left the casket lid open allowing The Undertaker to come back into the contest and to win the contest, by throwing both King Mabel and Sir Mo into the Casket, closing the lid shut to win the contest.

Hendrix and Pettengill are here to rundown the WWF Royal Rumble event card, that includes huge matches such as “THE BAD GUY” Razor Ramon versus “THE BIZZARE ONE” Goldust for the WWF Intercontinental Championship, and “THE PEARL RIVER POWERHOUSE” Ahmed Johnson versus “DOUBLE J” Jeff Jarrett! They then throw it to the WWF Champion Bret “THE HITMAN” Hart who has some words for his challenger, The Undertaker. Hart claimed that he is ready to take on all comers, be it living or dead, and he is not afraid of Undertaker. The WWF Champion is ready to go to war at the Royal Rumble, and he hopes The Undertaker prepares for battle. The feed then cuts back to Pettengill and Hendrix who hyped the WWF Championship Match before throwing the show to a commercial for the In Your House Encore presentation of the Bret “THE HITMAN” Hart versus The British Bulldog match from this past In Your House! The Encore will be aired this upcoming Monday on WWF RAW! WWF Superstars then faded to black.
