wwe9112
When booking angles, I always put EVERYONE I want to push in one big angle with someone that is massively over and I set everyone to "major success" does this help them get over any quicker or am I just wasting my time?

Also, for the MDB file, what are your favorite queries to run? I've been searching around here for a while for people's queries to run, but I've yet to find many -- actually only one...or do you have any personal programs, etc. you run for tracking things?

Thanks.
HarryFandango86
I'm not so sure it gets them over faster, but it means they'd be winning any storyline they are involved in, I believe they get a boost for coming out of storylines with a degree of success. noknuckles
I believe how it works is that "Major Success" in angles improves how well they do in the storyline. Then when the story ends and they did well story-wise, their momentum increases.

So if you use "Major Success" angles involving people not in a storyline together, then none of the storylines progress, and noone gets any better off in the story.

So for example, let's say you have Owens and Styles in a story. Owens powerbombs Styles through a table. This'll give Owens success in the storyline. However, if Owens powerbombed Jinder through a table, that wouldn't help him gain any steam in the Owens/Styles story so it would have no effect. If for whatever reason you had Owens and Styles double powerbombing Jinder, then that would give both of them storyline success

The Major Success angles won't directly increase the involved wrestlers' popularity beyond the regular benefits of just being in hot angles. The benefit comes from increased momentum gains due to storyline success, which can snowball into momentum bonuses (higher scores in angles and matches), which will help speed up popularity gains.

If you want to leech off of more popular workers, there are ways to do it. You can put a stable together in a storyline (the storyline being that the stable is dominating and destroying everyone). Let's say this stable consists of two popular workers, Sasha and Charlotte, and you add a third person, Emma, that you are trying to get over. You'd have Emma tag along in 3 on 1 beat downs. This'll be a double whammy of improving Emma's storyline success as well as being in highly rated segments with Sasha and Charlotte

In your example, you would put everyone in a single storyline called "Let's get over together." You then do what you're doing, keeping an eye on how everyone's doing in the story and ending the story when you think you need the momentum boost.

In fact, I think the worker's "success" in a Storyline is mostly cosmetic (not entirely sure about this part), and it's really just the Storyline heat that's important.

The benefits (momentum) you receive from success in angles isn't' affected by storylines (other than how the storyline heat affects the segment rating), that I'm fairly sure of.

(As of the current patch I think workers who are not being judged on their abilities no longer has pop gains)

The success is purely cosmetic and helps you keep track of what's happening and has no impact on momentum or popularity
