[CVerse] GSW: Boyz-N-The-Ring, Take 2

<p>GSW Urban Warfare 2016 card (Subject to change)</p><p>

GSW American title match: <strong>Remmy Skye</strong> vs Fro Sure vs Cali Slick</p><p>

Remy could lose the title here. I think he'll survive again though by taking advantage of the more storied rivalry between the two challengers.</p><p>

GSW Tag Team titles match: <strong>Hotline Miami</strong> vs Busta Capp & Deaf Touch</p><p>

I can't see the rough pairing taking the straps. The only way I could see it happen is if Death Row run interference.</p><p>

GSW Top Crew titles match: La Raza vs <strong>State of Destruction + Mystery Partner</strong></p><p>

You intimated before that La Raza are on borrowed time. SOD have been kept ticking over so I think they step up again here.</p><p>

GSW West Coast title match: <strong>Omar</strong> vs Cheech Kong</p><p>

Omar to retain. Maybe... <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p>First of all I would like to say, that you are doing a pretty good job, I love how are you booking GSW, is something that if it was broadcasted on television, my parents wouldnt want me to watch it, and thats part of the magic, I got to admit Im more on an IPW fan, mostly as Im a John "Nemesis" Campbell Fan, and I dont know any one else in any of both promotions, so Im usually on Nemesis side and like him to win, but Im going to admit you have gotten me invested in the show, you earned yourself a new subscriber and I hope you continue this diary.</p><p> </p><p>

Before predicting I would like to point out that Im not a native English speaker, Im a native Spanish Speaker, so I apologize in Advance for any Typos, also this is the first time I have ever read anything about GSW so Im sorry if i dont know the lore and i say something in my predictions pretty dumb.</p><p> </p><p>

GSW American title match: <strong>Remmy Skye</strong> vs Fro Sure vs Cali Slick</p><p> </p><p>

I see CJ Weston costing Cali the match, Fro Sure has been pushed to the moon on so many diaries, and Remmy Skye is rarely used in Dynasties, so I hope his push with the title continue.</p><p> </p><p>

GSW Tag Team titles match: <strong>Hotline Miami</strong> vs Busta Capp & Deaf Touch</p><p> </p><p>

<em>I think Hotline Miami are Sociopathic Psychos, and that works for them on a strangely satisfing way, and they are a real tag team unlike their opponents.</em></p><p><em>

</em></p><p>

GSW Top Crew titles match: <strong>La Raza</strong> vs State of Destruction + Mystery Partner</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Honestly I believe State of Destruction are going to win but Im still betting on La Raza, mostly because they are more cohesive as a trio than a tag team + 1, and that they have a special place on my heart as im hispanic as well, so i hope to see them triumph.</em></p><p> </p><p>

GSW West Coast title match: <strong>Omar</strong> vs Cheech Kong</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Omar has been on a roll recently, and I dont see Cheech Kong as a credible threat to end his title reign, Omar is young and full of Potential hope to see him grow to the Main Event</em></p><p> </p><p>

Would you consider signing Ash Campbell, and booking him in a 3 on 1 handicap match against 3 Superheavyweights, and have them beat the pulp out of him, just to stick it to Nemesis?</p><p>

Why Aces High Got Fired?

When La Raza contracts come up and you cant renew the two who have problems with the law, Are you going to keep the remaining one?

Would you consider signing Ash Campbell, and booking him in a 3 on 1 handicap match against 3 Superheavyweights, and have them beat the pulp out of him, just to stick it to Nemesis?

Would you recommend that I read your other GSW diary?

What is your objective with GSW?

What size is GSW? Do You Think you will get a Broadcasting deal in this diary?

As an ECW fan myself, I like the story of Nemesis and DAVE, but I'm not really keen on reboot attempts like IPW or PSW. GSW caught my attention due to it's special flavor, it really feels like a 90s West Coast gangsta rap song or movie (hence the title of the diary as well). Fun fact, I do put on said music when booking for this diary :D

- Aces High is a terrible influence backstage anyway, but he wrestled that 6 man tag match stoned out of his mind, which upset all 5 other men in it, which in turn messed up backstage morale. The move did improve his behavior though and somehow he didn't develop any negative relationship with me, so he could always make a surprise return down the line.

- Mexico's Finest starts as a Main Eventer, but he's dropped down after my signings. He's also a mess backstage and has law problems, so I'm probably letting him go. LatiNoFear has zero things going on for him besides tag experience in Brown Pride, so he'll be out the door too. MexiCain is the only one without law problems, also the only one who can work the mic and has some potential, so I'm probaby keeping him around. Hispanic wrestlers are hard to come by and precious given GSW's style

- Given that GSW's owner Brother Grimm hates Nemesis' guts, I wouldn't even risk bringing Ash Campbell around. That is, if he'd ever let me, since he's got a hiring veto and he's not afraid to use it.

- Here's a link to my previous GSW diary, if you wanna take a look. The writing is way more extensive and it might give you an idea of who's-who, but I do see myself making a lot of similar moves during the first couple of years, so reading it might ruin some surprises for this diary or make it feel a bit repetitive.

- My objective right now is to survive. GSW is bleeding money and any popularity gained from shows is immediately negated by Regional War penalties, as CZCW is constantly coming first and I can't compete with them. That said, I try to at least not come last, a spot I usually push IPW into thanks to mildly better Production Values. Hopefully, CZCW will soon grow to Cult size, meaning they won't be partaking in Regional Wars any more. In the long run, I plan to grow GSW and the endgame would probably be to drive IPW out of business, whether they go bankrupt or I buy them out.

- GSW is Small and like I said, isn't gaining any popularity to grow anytime soon, I'm just trying to keep it from falling to Local size. Even if I do manage to gain enough popularity to shoot for a Broadcaster deal though, the Product itself is so edgy I'll have to find someone willing to put up high risk stuff on their network, which is never an easy task.

Once again, the show opened with the steamy Nicole Kiss running down the card in reverse order, which of course ended with the opening match and her client Omar defending the GSW West Coast title. Although the veteran Kiss rocked the mic while shooting from the hip and got the show off to a strong start, her act feels a bit repetitive and with age catching up, there are rumors that her time with Brother Grimm's company is coming to an end.</p><p>

Nicole Kiss isn't the only female valet in GSW fighting a losing battle against time though;Osiris seems to be facing similar problems as her presence added close to nothing during the opening match. The two cruiserweights put up a solid performance though that got the crowd hotter thanks to their athletic offense, while also catering to the fans' hardcore appetite when Omar hit Cheech with a chair that got stuck folded around his neck, then proceeded to hit him with the High Velocity Headbutt while he was still trapped, a move that ended the match with a bang but may have taken too much out of both men's bodies.</p><p>

In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, Misfit and State Of Destruction defeated La Raza (Mexico's Finest, LatiNoFear and MexiCain) in a 3 vs 3 Sadistic Madness match in 9:30 when Misfit defeated LatiNoFear by pinfall with a Last Caress. Misfit and State Of Destruction win the GSW Top Crew titles.</strong></p><p>

Introduced as Misfit and sporting a devilock, the man known as Mutant in FCW made his GSW debut under what can best be described as a weird occult/horror rock/psychobilly gimmick that oddly enough went over with the fans. The big heavyweight immediately felt like he fit right in with his two teammates and his presence added to the mayhem of this quick but violent brawl, the chaos of which hid how bad State of Destruction were performing but didn't hinder the newcomer from putting up the best performance out of the six men in the match. This was largely due to a reckless style that showed little regard for his own well being, apparent when he provoked and willingly let Mexico's Finest chokeslam him through a table, only to lure the leader of La Raza into a setup for a double team move by the slow moving State of Destruction. That move eliminated Finest for the rest of the match, a booking necessitated by his niggling injury that hurt the flow of the match, as it let the less experienced and popular Brown Pride to carry the rest of it for their team. To their credit, both MexiCain and LatiNoFear survived double powerbombs to the ring steps from State of Destruction, before Misfit dragged LNF inside the ring to show off his Last Caress finisher that led to the pinfall.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="Fo7vCOc.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Fo7vCOc.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Ygf5mGn.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Ygf5mGn.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="rItxlch.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rItxlch.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p>

After the titles were handed to the new champions, Misfit grabbed a mic to cut a promo and introduce himself while State of Destruction were just looking mean in the background. The comparison didn't do the newcomer any favors, but he still did admirably well, to the point where it is rumored that the trio are set for a long run with the titles and perhaps a special name. The change seems to be good for Boneyard who's adding some depth to his gimmick, but BB Colossus felt a bit stale and needs to add a little tweak or use this opportunity to reinvent himself altogether.</p><p>

Hotline Miami make defence number 1 of their GSW Tag Team titles.</strong></p><p>

Billed as "GSW Originals", Capp and Deaf Touch took on the drug-fuelled duo of the masked hardcore brawlers Hotline Miami. There was nothing pretty about this brawl (except maybe Kandii) that quickly spilled out of the ring and involved plenty of weapons. Despite the defending champions' expertise in that sort of match, Capp turned the tide when he caught Tony the Tiger with a crunching Inverted Atomic Drop that seemed to legitimately injure his pelvis or tail bone when it connected with Capp's knee.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="L6k5ZVG.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/L6k5ZVG.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="mGqZ0ic.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/mGqZ0ic.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Death Row showing up was no surprise, but what was surprising was the fact they attacked both teams, before grabbing a mic from the announcers' table to say that they should be the ones getting a title shot. Given GSW's standard rules, matches can't end by DQ so Death Row had ample opportunities to do some damage before departing, but it was Richard the Rooster who rose from the pile of bodies to catch a recovering Deaf Touch with a Running Big Foot for the pin.</p><p>

Remmy Skye makes defence number 2 of his GSW American title.</strong></p><p>

The big triple threat main event was a real car crash of a match, full of dangerous spots, high risk moves and ultraviolent weapon use. Remmy Skye had to deal with the combined offense of both his opponents as soon as the match began, being not only the defending champion but also white and a lightweight high flyer. This cleared the ring for a trademark GSW brawl between Fro Sure and Cali Slick, with Skye getting back in the match later on when the other two were spent and he had recovered from the initial attacks. Not wasting any time, Skye immediately went for high risk attacks and although he did take out Fro, Slick caught him mid-air and brought him down hard with a spinebuster.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="c5MMsLb.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/c5MMsLb.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="T6FiAgv.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/T6FiAgv.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Just as Slick had everything going his way, CJ Weston rushed Raheem Stash to the ring. The two bitter enemies traded blows but Weston's presence sealed the deal when he clipped Slick's leg from behind with a lead pipe. Stash proceeded to powerbomb Slick on the apron and rolled him into the ring for Skye to pick apart. The champion spent no time and climbed the top rope to hit a Skye Diver, then pinned Slick to win the match and retain the title.</p><p>

<em>The West Coast Wars took a big turn in October, with GSW climbing up to 2nd place in the Regional Wars just behind CZCW, which led to hostile remarks between the two promotions shortly after. Meanwhile, IPW was pushed to the dead last spot behind the likes of AAA and QAW, which supposedly sparked an internal crisis, the effects of which lashed out as well when IPW publically decided to pick a fight with not just CZCW, but the SWF behemoth as well in what many call a suicidal move.</em></p></div><p></p><p></p>

GSW's November show opened with Carlos Barerra cutting a promo on La Raza and how they've been blackballing him, calling them hypocrites. The young latino proceeded to hype himself and play out his Street Fighter gimmick while running down Brown Pride for their recent performances, saying they're not even on the same level as Mexico's Finest. Instead of the targets of his promo though, his words brought out GSW's Commissioner of Violence. Big Magic's menacing aura totally wiped out whatever Barerra had built up to this point as it made him pale in comparison, but the entire segment did get the show going on the right foot as Big Magic announced he'd be giving a shot at Barerra to the first member of La Raza to come out. Things are never simple in GSW though and the Commissioner upped the ante when he made it a Loser leaves the Barrio match, which meant that either La Raza could shut up Barerra for good or he'd be able to wipe out a member of the group and potentially take his place.</p><p>

LatiNoFear put up one hell of a farewell match, showing improvement in his Performance skills as he was the better worker in the bout and literally went out with a bang when Barerra drove him through a barb wire table that had been set on fire for the knock out finish, which also served to establish Barerra as a legitimately tough brawler. A decent opening to the show, this had fans guessing as to what the future of La Raza will be, the only thing for sure though is that the group will carry on being a focal point of the promotion's booking for the coming year as well.</p><p>

Another overbooked brawl full of weapons and blood galore, the chaos in this one helped hide the terrible performance of State of Destruction as well as Magwitch. BB Colossus was the bright spot for his team, showing improvement in his Performance skills while on the other side, Tony the Tiger introduce some great spots to enhance his Raging Bull gimmick.</p><p>

No overbooked match is complete without a run-in and this one featured Death Row once again going after Hotline Miami in continuation of their feud. Magwitch was thus left to fight on his own, setting him up for Misfit's Last Caress that ended the match to keep the GSW Top Crew titles on his team.</p><p>

Pushing his brand new pimp gimmick, Hard-1 introduced fans to his prime talent, Kandi Fornia, an obvious jab at GSW original and Warehouse hostess Kandii as well as a play on the worker's usual alias of Kali Fornia. Going under her usual Adult Film Star gimmick thanks to her striking resemblance to famous real porn star Vikki Candi, the new face was well received by the audience and her red hot looks brought out Fro Sure for a sizzling tongue-in-cheek freestyle rap. Things did get a bit out of hand though when Fro laid a hand on the merchandise, leading to an improptu match between himself and Hard-1.</p><p>

Hard-1 put up quite a fight despite his ageing body, though it was without a doubt Fro Sure who single-handedly carried the entire match. What made things worse for Hard-1 was the fact that Kandi Fornia felt awkward on his corner and took away from the match instead of adding to it, as apparently she and the veteran have zero chemistry. Perhaps as an improvised finish, Kandi Fornia spat on the fallen Hard-1 who had proven too weak for her and left the ring wrapped around Fro Sure's arm, a move that if nothing else will serve as a narrative explanation to the severing of her connection to Hard-1.</p><p>

Remmy Skye makes defence number 3 of his GSW American title.</strong></p><p>

Cali Slick entered the main event match as a favorite, the stipulation favoring him as it not only prevented interference but the barb wire brutality served his style while it limited Skye's high flying arsenal. To say that the main event was a Car Crash would be an understatement, as both men bled heavily with the cage used again and again as a weapon. Skye was having enough trouble with the cage already, he also seemed to be in a really bad night, which at least he somehow covered with his "drug fuelled extremist" gimmick as Slick did most of the heavy lifting. Things did turn around after the thirteenth minute though, when Skye risked it all to climb the cage wall, jump off and hit his opponent with a missile dropkick that drove him through the cage door. Slick crawled his way back into the ring as Skye made it to the top rope with ample time to set up his Skye Diver finisher, which he hit for the pin and a hard-fought title defense.</p><p>

<em>Despite IPW putting up a better show this month, GSW found themselves escaping the last position in the West Coast Wars as QAW took that spot when they came up fifth. Based in Texas, the American Luchadoras promotion is still causing a buzz on the West Coast, though given the situation there and their business strategy so far, QAW are not considered a serious potential player in the game as they are expected to chose a less competitive area such as Mexico or the Midwest for their expansion.</em></p></div><p></p><p></p>

Instead of someone coming out to start the show, a video plays on the screen above the entrance ramp. A shaky video rolls, probably shot on the fly by someone using a smartphone camera. Whoever's shooting seems to have spotted the reigning GSW American champion Remmy Skye and discreetly follows him. Skye creeps into an empty parking lot, the cracked concrete and growing weeds a testament to this place being left to its own fate long ago. The 'cameraman' hides behind a bush as Skye walks up to a trailer, smoke coming out of its chimney. Two men stand guard by the door, white skulls painted over their faces like a simplified Dia de los Muertos facepaint. They nod at Skye, a sign they know him and Remmy knocks on the door. Moments later, the door opens and Skye holds up a handful of dollars, his arm shaking. An unseen figure from inside grabs the cash from his hands and puts a dimebag in his hand, the contents not clearly visible but obviously of a shady nature. Skye says thanks and runs away, the camera still shooting the van.</p><p>

The show off to a strong start after the controversial intro video, this match lit up the fans even more thanks to the high risk offense of the two men in it. If Omar sought to replace Nicole Kiss with Osiris, it clearly didn't work as the two turned out to be an awkward pairing with no chemistry. Still, Osiris had plenty of flesh on display to please the rowdy GSW fans and both wrestlers did a fair job of putting up an exciting match.</p><p>

CJ Weston showed up to pull Osiris by the hair somewhere around the fifteen minute mark. The move caught Omar's attention and Perez capitalized by locking his opponent's head and jumping to the first, then the second, then the third rope to deliver a spectacular Triple-Jump Tornado DDT to win the match.</p><p>

As soon as the bell rang, CJ Weston grabbed the GSW West Coast title, rolled into the ring and handed it to the new champion himself. Perez held both the strap and Weston's hand up in celebration while the manager cut a promo to welcome the newcomer to Weston's Crew. Weston went on to talk about his people holding the gold once again and tried to trash-talk Cali Slick, but his new Loose Cannon persona was terribly received by the audience who would have been just fine with a simple line to wrap up the new alliance.</p><p>

An injury to Richard the Rooster meant that an audible was called and the finish was changed on the fly. Death Row win the GSW Tag Team titles.</strong></p><p>

Given the people in it, their hot feud and the titles on the line, the semi-main event was set to steal the show and it did just that, but not for any of those reasons. Hotline Miami and Death Row did their worst to inflict punishment on each other, with heavy bleeding and weapons galore taking up the bulk of the match.</p><p>

"The hardcore clown" Magwitch also showed up to assist his Psycho Circus friends, his interference originally intended to tip the scales in favor of the champions. Magwitch was supposed to barely not-make-the-save of Richard the Rooster getting piledrived onto a trash can, which would then send him into a frenzy, before dragging Richard onto one of the fallen members of Death Row. The stunt spot though went all sorts of wrong and Richard was was unable to even move for a few dramatic minutes. Though only officiating for a few months after the departure of GSW's original referee Moore Vincent, his replacement Chad Brent threw up the X and the finish was altered on the fly, with Knuckles barely laying a hand over Richard for the pin. It has been since reported that the fall caused a Major Concussion and Richard the Rooster will be out for at least a year. How that will affect his status with the company as well as his tag team partner Tony the Tiger remains to be seen.</p><p>

Despite the incident, GSW twisted the knife and as the paramedics rushed in to check on Richard the Rooster, Cali Slick and Raheem Stash brawled their way out of the backstage area and onto the entrance ramp. Despite being bigger and stronger, Stash seemed to be on the wrong end of the fight, a sign that he had somehow been caught off guard. Slick screamed something at him about Weston's Crew, before hitting him with the Slick-Back. Stash was laid out and Cali walked away, leaving behind an extra body for the paramedics to worry about.</p><p>

Jokingly referred to as the "Battle of the Kandiis", the main event was another trademark GSW Car Crash, with big spots, physical fighting, weapons, bloodshed and no-frills violence, street-style. Both competitors really left everything in the ring, with Busta taking a Sure Thing piledriver to the floor off the announcers' table and Fro getting sandwiched with a Mafia Kick between a chair he was holding in front of his face and another stuck on a corner between the ring ropes. Meanwhile, the two ladies got into a full-on catfight on the outside, with Kandii ultimately shoving her opponent onto a spent Fro Sure who was struggling to catch his breath, sending him jaw first onto another Mafia Kick from Capp. Busta fell onto his opponent and finally got the three count to book his ticket for a title match next month against none other than Remmy Skye.</p><p>

Fans know what to expect when the big men holding the GSW Top Crew titles are in the ring and they got just that: the show got off to a strong start with a short but violent brawl, overbooked of course to hide the weaknesses of both BB Colossus and Boneyard. The story here was the internal dynamics of La Raza, with Finest and MexiCain not quite embracing Barerra after he ousted LatiNoFear and the CZCW alumni doing his best but not quite being in synch with his teammates, which utterly left MexiCain exposed to a devastating Colossus Avalanche.</p><p>

La Raza's troubles didn't end when the match did though. Barerra's long time tag team partner Miguel Rivera made his GSW debut once the match was over. Tension built as fans waited to see if the latino quartet would use their numbers advantage to get back at the champions or whether the reunited team of Notorious would attack the remainders of the original La Raza. After some back and forth trash talking between Rivera and Mexico's Finest, the latter was the case, with the fresh Rivera attacking the ex con while Barerra made sure MexiCain stayed down. The duo hit their Drop Off tag finisher on Mexico's Finest and the segment ended with Notorious standing tall, even if Rivera's Street Fighter gimmick was off to a sub-par start.</p><p>

With the GSW West Coast champion joining Weston's Crew, this tag match was a chance to intertwine the title storyline of former champion Omar with that of Cali Slick and his fight against Weston's clients. Once again, Slick put up performance of the match as he had to fill in for an off-game Omar. The former champion was in such a bad night he botched a move and ended up breaking the cheek bone of Perez rather early in the match, which led to the reigning champion having to work through the pain for most of the match and hindered his performance. Raheem Stash also had his moment when the big Jamaican hit a splash off the ropes, but the fatal man in the mix was CJ Weston, who cost his team the match when he tried to get involved but swung wide and hit Perez by accident.</p><p>

A lot of personal animosity in this match, dating back to Death Row's debut and hitting a peak in December when the duo gave Richard the Rooster a major concussion to win the titles. Besides Knuckles seeming a bit off game, the match was nothing to write home about, with the story and heat being significantly more important than the in-ring action. Blood was shed, weapons were swung but at the end of the day it was the inexperience and unpredictability of the Hardcore Clown that left his partner to take a serious beating, which led to a two on on advantage that set up the Death Sentence for the champions to retain.</p><p>

As is the norm with Big Magic heading creative, the main event was once again a stunt show of bumps, big spots, weapons and dangerous moves, a complete Car Crash that made the match more exciting than a brawler-vs-flyer matchup would suggest, aided by the fact that the two men seemed to have great chemistry fighting each other. Busta had his moments of hard hits and big moves while Skye took the high-risk flips and dives, many of which he botched to the point where it's a wonder he walked away without injury. Despite Remmy having a terrible night, his charisma, controversial "drug fuelled daredevil" gimmick and fortunately timed vigniette with Misfit from last month somehow made it all not just watchable, it made it feel real. The roll up finish saw Skye retain while keeping Busta strong and given the chemistry between these two, a rematch is bound to happen soon enough.</p><p>

Wrapping up the show, Fro Sure came out to talk down Skye, calling him a "pathetic junkie" who is unworthy to represent "the Dub" as its top guy. Skye tossed the insults aside with a smile, pointing out he's beat Fro for the title on more than one occasion, which Fro attributed to pure luck, before challenging Skye to one more match next month at Anarchy. Skye accepted and the fans were sent home happy with something to look forward to, though there's a distinct feeling that Fro Sure needs to spice up his gimmick as his promo was too reminiscent of his past feud with Skye and felt a bit stale.</p><p>

Current versus former champion in the rematch of their December bout that saw the GSW West Coast title change hands. A shift from GSW's usual booking format, this time it wasn't the main event but rather this #1 contender bout that was booked as a Car Crash. The two brawlers went above and beyond in delivering hard hits, weapon spots, dangerous stunts and stiff, bloody strikes, which showed as they were both exhausted by the end, though they did come out of this without injuries. Slick carried the match in terms of performance, but having both Kandii on the outside and CJ Weston as a distraction on the announcing table was too much on his plate and eventually Busta was able to Capp-italize with a little help from his valet. No shame in Slick's defeat, though it looks like he'll be dealing with Weston's Crew for a little longer before he can turn his full attention back on the GSW American title.</p><p>

Not the kind of opener one would like after Grimm's heated intro, this basically served to give both participants some time in the ring and was thus nothing more than that. Deaf Touch did his best to get a decent match out of his cruiserweight opponent, but even so there are limits to what the rookie Kong can do. Still, he showcased some improvement in his Performance skills and even took a big bump for the finish of the match, when Deaf Touch gave him a top rope brainbuster head-first onto the steel post, before following up the move with a Crooked Moonsault for the win.</p><p>

The cut from a more-or-less arousing voyeur scene to the face of a bloodied clown with smeared makeup was enough to cause a shocking clash of emotions and get the psycho clown some heat, even if he somewhat "underperformed" in comparison to what the other two were doing, but footage of the segment along with some fan reactions has been circling the internet and will certainly be causing a buzz around GSW.</p><p>

Death Row make defence number 2 of their GSW Tag Team titles. </strong></p><p>

A well-worked and rather competitive match, this had both teams come out of it looking like a million bucks. Thanks to some extra edge to his Performance skills, Barerra rose to the occasion and put up a valiant fight next to Miguel Rivera, but it just wasn't enough against the tough team of experienced veterans holding the belts. The looming threat of a potential La Raza or Psycho Circus interference in this match added an extra layer of subliminal tension, but it never happened and this was a straightforward two on two tag team match from bell to bell. Probably the highlight of the match was Death Row hitting double powerbombs through tables on their opponents, a moment from which Notorious were never fully able to recover and it cost them the match shortly thereafter.</p><p>

Remmy Skye did make his entrance and rolled into the ring to get in Misfit's face, but the weird one merely answered with a cryptic smile. Referencing a past vignette, Misfit said his "juju" was now pumping in Skye's veins and it was time to collect. After some occult words spoken into a distorted microphone, Skye collapsed to the mat and began shivering as if he was having a seizure. Misfit retreated with the laugh of an evil mastermind and while may have come across as a bit cheesy, Skye's selling and/or improved acting (coupled with his real life drug abuse record) was so good fans were legitimately worried he might be having an overdose or something and this was a way to cover up for it.</p><p>

Fro Sure wins the GSW American title.</strong></p><p>

As the paramedics tended to Remmy Skye with shots of adrenaline, Busta Capp made his entrance and the third participant was revealed to be Fro Sure. Given how the fans exploded when his music hit the speakers instead of booing this as repetitive booking or a cheap chance out of nowhere for the bro with the fro, it is safe to say that Fro Sure is really getting better at his new tweaked Fan Favorite gimmick. Busta Capp did his part, largely boosted by his exceptional pairing with Kandii and brought the street tough in this Car Crash of a match, but for all his rugged brawling and weapons, it was Fro and Skye that really stole the show with their performances. Skye played up his drug fuelled daredevil gimmick to the extreme, pulling off the craziest, riskiest moves he could come up with and Fro did more than just work the crowd with his charisma, the highlight of it being when he was shoved by Skye back first onto a bed of light tubes, before Capp grabbed him by the hair to grind his face on the shards laid on the mat. Bloodied but unwilling to die, Fro fought through hell and when Skye missed a move to take out Kandii by accident, Fro capitalized and his uphill battle story ended with him pinning Capp after a Sure Thing piledriver. Fans loved the carnage and they loved the crowning moment of their chosen hero, ending the show on a high note and sending everyone home happy.</p><p>
