After the first month WWA and RRW remain the global top dogs. NGP has huge problems. They have fallen to cult size and struggle to maintain their roster.

 

All other companies are expanding coverage and are in a healty place.

 

Wooooooooooooooooow. :p Those damn alliances man.. Nah, I tested the product and now that I know that is not the problem, this one comes down to the fact that I opted not to draft a TV Show or Broadcaster, so my popularity just can't be sustained without that.

 

EDIT: Oh, I'm also about a thousand behind in the National Battles in Canada. :p Haha at least I have a fun trajectory to play. Also the product tires people out quick. :p

I wish the AI used stables properly it's ridiculous that you end up with unassociated workers as trios champions. Happens all the time in NJPW, I once saw Okada, Naito and Omega as 6 man champs</p>

That watchers game of course has some odd champs etc because that's what it does.</p><p> </p><p>

Obviously with WWA I am pushing Madison Eagles but Miz as the champ - ummmm I think not - well not for any length of time. EC3 & Cody is intriguing though - the more I think about it the more it gels in my head as an interesting idea.</p><p> </p><p>

No doubt in most peoples games you will outperform the AI purely by buying judiciously and booking well.</p>

So I decided to play a watcher game

 

The AI is an idiot. I'm saying that first - the proof is below.

 

Possible issue is Taker is supposed to be owner/booker but it hired Gabe Sapolsky as a Booker. No problem when I play but for everyone else it's going to hire a mystery booker for WWA.

 

I have a ton of popular guys so of course Dolph Ziggler becomes world champ. You stupid Artificial Intelligence especially since I checked the contracts and guess who is less than 4 months out from his contract coming up? Thas right Mr Ziggles!

 

Big Cass & Stu Bennett win the tag titles. Really? Not the New Day, Not the 2nd city Saints? Big Cass & Stu Bennett ... WTF!!!

 

Luckily it gives Madison Eagles the womens belt. Of course when you look at the hires below it will become obvious why.

 

Bobby Lashley has the IC title. Tolerable I guess.

 

New hire Brother Devon wins the internet title. Yep that title for up and comers is around a 44 year olds waist!

 

It hires refs Dan Eckos, Jason Ayers, Mike Chioda, Bryce Remsburg & Justin King (exactly how many refs does it think WWA needs?)

 

It hires Gabe Sapolsky, Micheal Hayes, Norman Smiley & Ricky Steamboat (It's gone Road Agent happy)

 

It hires Booker T as a Colour Commentator. Sigh!!!

 

It hires the following workers - Konnor (renamed Ryan O'Reilly), Viktor (renamed Apoc), 50yr old Blue Demon, Brother Devon (and put a belt on him), Bully Ray, Carlito, Eddie Colon, Chavo, D'Lo Brown, Eric Young, Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Homicide, Incognito (the current Sin Cara), Jake Hagar, Jimmy Yang, Jushin Liger (a sprightly 52 year old) Kenneth Cameron (Bram), MVP, Rhino, Tiger Dragon (a 50 yo Ultimo Dragon).

 

Now maybe I'd hire Carlito, eric Young, Swagger (Hager) and at a push Yang and Rhino but 3 plus 50 guys and a bunch of aging 40's guys is not smart.

 

It hired Mickie James - that's it 1 woman for a women's division now totalling 4 workers.

 

4 weeks in and I give up watching because the AI is a frakkin moron.

I started now my own game, where i serve as the owner of rated r wrestling. I will report back when im some months in.</p>

<p>I'm doing something similar. It's taking me a while to start because I need at least 11 more bodies at my level and I am flush with choices. Obviously at least 1/2 of those will be women's wrestlers. I'm shortlisting like crazy.</p><p> </p><p>

The obvious 6 month hire of Big Show where I drain his remaining pop away by having him job like Steve Lombardi to put absolutely every young guy over is a must. He's pretty lazy so he'll enjoy spending so much time on his back.</p><p> </p><p>

I shortlisted the rosters of all 8 rival companies because I want to ensure I don't miss out on any of the gems.</p><p> </p><p>

I checked some contracts and hiring Taya Valkyrie, Bea Priestley & Nikki Bella became a bit more attractive as Mundo, Osprey & Cena are actually randomly generated as short timers in my game. Mickie James & Brandi Runnels too because both Nick Aldis & Cody Rhodes are short time in WWA and their wives will make them happy campers.</p><p> </p><p>

Okada! Now I know I'm in an alliance but it's Okada and I am not sitting on my hands and letting him go because long term that's a chance too good to let pass. RFW drew a real bad hand because all their big guys came up as short timers (less than 7 months) and I am sure KRPW will try to poach them. Heck I might try to poach Sanada, Shinsuke, Naito & Omega because that's hard to pass up. Admittedly both of KRPW's big Japanese talents are up relatively early too so Japan is going to be bloodbath. </p><p> </p><p>

ILL has good contracts for their major talent except Mundo who has like 68 days on his deal and Penta who is in the 120's. They probably should be able to retain their talent especially since Mexico is all theirs. Mundo might be worth a bid though. Daniel Bryan is up mid year but his head injuries have me concerned, I doubt he's worth the money required to prise him away.</p><p> </p><p>

Northern Grappling in Canada is going to be a feeding ground because they aren't at a level to compete long term with RRW & WWA in a bidding war and Joe & AJ are up relatively early.</p><p> </p><p>

The euro feds are cult too so Toni Storm & Travis Banks are definitely getting offers early on. Finn Balor is about 6 months away and I suspect there will be a few bidders for him. Both drafted such Eurocentric feds though that they will probably be able to retain most everyone that comes up because they aren't going to be inundated with offers.</p><p> </p><p>

RRW is looking okay except Cena ... that's going to be awkward for them because I have to drive his price up. All the Shield guys come up between 5 and 9 months in. </p><p> </p><p>

Ringside Stories - Rousey is up in less than 3 months. That's going to be a moral dilemma for me because as much as I love being in an alliance she's just so perfect for my fed. Renee Young has some merit too because of Ambrose being available about a month after her.</p><p> </p><p>

Luckily for me all the guys I want to keep are a year or more - now will the AI try to steal Aaron Henry, Tama Williams, EC3, Nick Aldis, Cody Rhodes Dolph Ziggler, Earl Hebner or Big Cass early in the game (first 6 months). Maybe but even if they succeed I wont lose too much sleep over it. I want to keep them all but I'm not getting caught in a bidding war for any of them. I cant imagine the AI suddenly deciding Tama Williams is a must have. </p><p> </p><p>

The first 6 months are going to be interesting because I suspect there is going to be some bidding wars and issues for some of the smaller feds retaining their top talent.</p>

I'll be honest though, I wasn't expecting some of my wXw guys to have the same levels of pop as Sheamus and Cesaro</p>
