What I've been considering is if it would be worth it to cap our size to Cult just to keep our heads down and avoid national battles all together. What I don't know really is what the benefits are to take that step from Cult to National. Do I really want to be National for some reason I can't think of? The one direct thing I can think about are TV deals as some broadcasters require that you are a certain size to sign with them. Is that it? I cant tell you how the AI will handle an alliance long term.</p><p> </p><p> You could play a watch game and see what happens. I suspect with only 3 companies in the US and with the set up for WWA America being built to go global it's possible it wont be an issue. They are far more likely to be concerned with initial rival R-RW and Mexico & Canada feds long term than worrying about turning on an ally. The other 3 Nth American feds are male so they aren't talent raiding you if any of the 4 of you get into National battles longterm. So those 3 again are far more likely to be at war with WWA America. I kind of suspect you might be totally fine puttering along happily and growing slowly whilst the boys go to war. That said with so few feds the AI may not even bother with that. Kijar Posted August 28, 2017 Share Posted August 28, 2017 I'm also very excited to see how the AI handles the world we've been creating here. Probably the most unique world I've seen come out of a real world draft. Most times seem just hungry for talent, but we pretty much all had a set goal in mind with our rosters and we built a world with each unique one. Also, setting max size to Cult is a very useful tactic, as you can build up popularity all the same, get it to a crazy level, and then finally grow to National when you are clearly able to sustain it. Talent fleets away, but if you have enough money you can keep them around no matter who throws a contract offer at them. Been thinking about what I want to do TV and PPV coverage wise, and I decided that if the company is big enough, they will look for that stuff themselves so I won't be drafting a tv show or broadcaster deals of any kind as I will pick it out in game and if the AI version of NGP will do as they see fit. Dr_Avalanche Posted August 28, 2017 Share Posted August 28, 2017 Yeah, that's one effect of being a lower size level, isn't it. Other companies view you differently. The AI running the other companies in the alliance might view us as irrelevant, workers will prefer to work for the bigger companies, etc. On the other hand, putting on good enough shows to offset losing a national battle every month might be near impossible and I might be forced down to Cult before long if I don't start there voluntarily. And that might be worse. Here's what I'm gonna do I think. I'm going to cap our size at Cult until we build up a ton of momentum, then when we are well prepared, let go of the cap and move up. In my C-verse game I managed to get stars of my regional size QAW up to 80-90 pop. At that point, it might be possible to put on good enough matches and events that we at least break even pop-wise. Otherwise our companies have remarkably few touching points. I imagine Dahlia Black is part of a stable and would be counterproductive to trade away to complete another stable. Thats okay we all wanted to crush you like a bug anyway - now it's just that much easier to despise you It will be interesting to see how the AI handles your fed. People near the top of both trees are genuine friends - HHH/HBK is the obvious one but there are plenty of others. I wont be declaring war in my game, I'll be concentrating on growing my brand. Who knows what the AI version of Undertaker will do? I think it's funny that Taker has taken the names to many of the old WWE events - I can imagine Vince have conniptions. I also don't know how the AI will treat Dr. A's womens fed. If he does cap at cult then maybe your fed takes one or two girls who can work as managers but not much else. With mine I have a womens division but there will be workers a plenty unemployed. It will be interesting to see if there are any pickups by the AI.
