It makes little sense to combine two top tiers from seperate db's as it is inherently unbalanced. It anyone retains his belt over three times it'd be a miracle. Imo those "gimmick fights" are better suited to sim matches outside of "career" mode.

I hope Adam doesn't spend too much time updating the cornellverse and spends more time making the game better. The cornellverse is something modders can easily update once the game is released and seeing as only a certain percentage of people playing the game actually use the cornellverse, I just don't see it being as important as other things.

I can't wait to play the new version! Give it hell, Adam!

WMMA's C-verse is pretty far from TEW's in terms of fanbase, but I think we all agree that the core experience of the game should be decent and interesting at the very least. So I hope he spends time to properly adjust everything. Keep in mind that it's a nice change to writing lines of code (at least I assume he finds it fun).

Testing of the game has started weeks ago so continuing to write on the code would be counterproductive. Now it should mainly be tweaks so he's not wasting time when he's writing the database. Testers are probably playing a random database as you can generate a gameworld in mere minutes in WMMA4.

I'd like GAMMA and ALPHA-1 to already be High National, SIGMA, BCF and one or two of the others to be Low National and for there to be 5 to 10 new regional level companies already in existence with a lot more to debut. Obviously with a lot of new fighters to fill all these companies.

I'd also be happy with some retconning of fighters as suggested elsewhere to bring down the ages of the existing fighters to give them a bit more longevity.

One game I would like to see is for fighters careers to last a bit longer and for time decline to be a bit more variable, so fighters who drink, do drugs or have a lot of very hard fights would deteriorate a bit more quickly and those who look after themselves or who take less damage in fights could easily stay at their peak until their 40's

I don't know if you have plan to include conflict with fighters who want to do extra mma activities like movies, wrestling, boxing etc...

This is already in WMMA4 in the shape of "layoffs". I don't think the game mentions the reason involved, but the fighter in question would be "taking time off", which is what it comes down to.

The idea of being a "part-timer" can be simulated by modders through the "devotion" stat (might be named different, but it's basically a general stat to sim training intensity).
