PDoody Posted October 5, 2017 Share Posted October 5, 2017 With WMMA 5 on the horizon, I thought I'd end my progress on WMMA 4 with one final save, however this time I am going to do it in the form of a Dynasty to prepare myself for WMMA 5. I am using 5teezy's RW mod updated as of August, around one year after WME bought the UFC for 4.2 Billion. So without Further ado, lets get down to business. http://i68.tinypic.com/25sosgh.jpg Before I get into the rosters and such I have to point out a few things. As you'd expect I'll be running this playthrough as Dana White, CEO of the UFC. Firing is on so that can be an interesting twist down the line. I have put the majority of my points into Negotiating, Match Making and Promotion. I play with the Fog of War turned off because I just cannot stand it personally. I have chosen to start this mod one year after the sale because a lot of the people within the MMA media believed that the first year was going to be a rocky one for the UFC, and so, in the same way WME are dealing with what has happened throughout this first year. I will too. As of now the UFC has literally hundreds of people on their roster. The WW and LW divisions alone have upwards of 70+ and so I will be cutting a large portion of the roster, leaving anywhere between 25-40 in each Division. The UFC is supposed to be the place for the best fighters. With so many fighters that moniker becomes a little less important. Lastly to follow on with this, I will be ending the UFC's TV deals with Fox, I may still do the occasional Fight Night which I will hold exclusively on fight pass. But I plan on reverting to the style before the FOX deal, when the UFC treated itself more as a sport promotion as opposed to the entertainment factor it is now. Which means less annual shows. Right now the UFC do 50 shows a year. I plan on doing no more than 25-30 as to not over-saturate the market. Instead of doing 45 average cards and 5 good cards. I'll do 20 Great cards.
