Impact Wrestling: We Are Impact.

Absolutely brilliant.

Definitely should've believed in Sydal to keep oVe together I guess. :p I'm thinking Garza Jr. still loses to him, lol, but I don't know. He's a good young prospect.

Ready for Lockdown, that's for sure.

"Countdown To Lockdown"

jjGzWQw.png

Location: Impact Wrestling Studios / Chicago, Illinois, USA - Announcers: Jeremy Borash & Josh Matthews

[Produced from the Impact Wrestling studios, featuring footage from the pre-recorded Chicago tapings, this episode will be produced in the days leading up to Lockdown. Hosted by Jeremy Borash and Josh Matthews, the show will take on a less structured format than a regular episode. As a result, the directions of the episode will be less specific, allowing a more “realistic” and “analytical” look at the upcoming Lockdown Pay-Per-View.]

Before the main part of the show begins, Eddie Edwards and Ethan Carter will promote the Main Event of the show. They will go one on one, with Ethan Carter looking to once again become the Impact Grand Champion. It will be shown through a graphic on-screen that if Ethan Carter becomes the Grand Champion tonight, he will be placed in the Main Event of Lockdown.

<hr>Introduced by Jeremy Borash and Josh Matthews after the opening credits, the show will begin in a “sports hub” type setting, with the words “Countdown to Lockdown” on a large screen behind the two men.

Explaining the concept of the episode, Jeremy Borash will say that tonight viewers will be given a unique insight into the mind of the competitors, “just days before they step inside the most brutal structure in Impact Wrestling - the Lockdown Steel Cage!”

Running through the card, Josh Matthews will take the leads, promoting the following matches:

  • Ivelisse Velez © vs. Allie - Impact Knockouts Championship [This will be the first confirmation of the match, which Borash will give a little background to, saying it was confirmed earlier this week]
  • Matt Sydal © vs. Garza Jr. - Impact X Division Championship; If Garza Jr. loses, he will leave Impact Wrestling
  • Rosemary vs. Taya Valkyrie

This will lead Josh & JB to discuss a match which had previously been confirmed, but will now no longer take place. Explaining that Dezmond Xavier picked up an injury since the episode which aired last week, it will be announced that The Gatekeepers will still face Zema Ion, but a new partner has been drafted in for the night. Jeremy Borash will talk up the former X Division Champion, “Mr. Total Nonstop Attitude” Kid Kash.

HfNMtyj.png

A short homemade promo will then be shown, having been sent in by Kid Kash. In it, Kid Kash will talk about his return to Impact Wrestling, as well as his intention to put “The Gatekeepers” back in their place.

Continuing to discuss the card, Jeremy Borash and Josh Matthews will run down the “Main Event matches” of the Lockdown event, talking about the following:

  • Alberto El Patron © vs. Eddie Edwards - Impact World Championship [borash will note than this could change by the end of the night, as the Impact Grand Championship will also be put up at Lockdown]
  • Latin American Xchange vs. “The Fight Back” - Lethal Lockdown Match

Going in-depth of the Lethal Lockdown match, JB & Josh will introduce three members of “The Fight Back” in the form of James Storm, Moose and Johnny Impact. The three will talk up the Lethal Lockdown match, speaking on experience of Steel Cage bouts. They will also talk about the huge news from last week, with Josh Matthews asking for confirmation. It will be at this point that Johnny Impact officially confirms Rey Mysterio as the fourth man in their team to face LAX at Lockdown. The hosts will then speak about Rey Mysterio’s history with Konnan, the man who first brought him to wrestle in North America.

<hr>Following a video package of Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie’s rivalry, which has seen Crazzy Steve get caught in the middle recently, it will be time for the first match from Chicago, Illinois.

LAX’s Ortiz & Santana bt. Braxton Sutter & Crazzy Steve: Two men who had previously fought back against LAX will be defeated fairly comprehensively by two of the four men who will represent Konnan in the Lethal Lockdown.

Entering the studio after that match, Allie will talk about the confirmation of her match against Ivelisse Velez at Lockdown, saying that despite them being inside a Steel Cage, she is still wary of what LAX may have planned. Allie will talk about her dream of becoming the Knockouts Champion, saying that this Sunday is her best chance yet!

<hr>oVe bt. Billy Carr & Dan Barry: The second match to air, oVe will score a somewhat tainted victory over the two local competitors that have impressed during their Impact Wrestling run so far.

Returning to the studio, Jeremy Borash and Josh Matthews will be joined by Natural Selection, the new World Tag Team Champions.

R6JdxKW.png483pBsc.png

Eli Drake and Brian Cage will talk about their victory last week, before turning their attention to Lockdown. Eli Drake will talk about the fact that they don’t have a match scheduled, but promise that they will be at the Pay-Per-View, and they will be looking for a fight. Eli Drake will add that it seems there are no rules in Impact Wrestling any more, so maybe they need to open themselves up and issue a call out to the Tag Teams of Canada. Either than or they’ll take the night off.

<hr>Taking an in-depth look at his Impact Wrestling run, a video package will show everything that led to Garza Jr. making the challenge to Matt Sydal. Putting his career on the line, the desperation of Garza Jr. will be put over, as well as the potential for this Sunday’s Lockdown Pay-Per-View to be his final match in Impact Wrestling.

Garza Jr. bt. Caleb Konley

<hr>Returning to the second hour of the show, LAX will crash the set. Causing chaos, LAX - and particularly Konnan - will be given free reign to send their response to “The Fight Back”.

hedifeB.png

Konnan will explain that Homicide and Low-Ki are out on business at the moment, but say that they will be ready for Lockdown. Konnan will then take aim at Rey Mysterio, calling him a “ungrateful rat”. Konnan will say that he brought Rey into this world of wrestling and he can take him out!

When LAX leave the set, the commentators will promote the night’s Main Event, explaining that there will be three five minute rounds between Eddie Edwards and Ethan Carter.

James Storm and Homicide go to a Double Countout: Brawling all around ringside, the two men will eventually battle out of the sight. As a result, the referee will have to call the match off, declaring a double countout. Following the match, the brawl will be caught up with and shown to be continuing. This will be the case until security, referees and crew members pull them apart.

<hr>Back in the studio, Joseph Park will greet Jeremy Borash, while dismissing Josh Matthews. Interviewed by JB, Park will vaguely talk about his appearance at Lockdown, saying that not only will he be at the show, he will also be making a huge announcement about the future of his agency!

Ivelisse Velez bt. Local Talent: After a convincing victory, Velez holds her title high in the air.

Recorded in a similar style to Kid Kash’s homemade promo from earlier, The Gatekeepers’ response will be shown. They will say that there is a difference between a veteran and a hasbeen. They will state their intention to show that, this Sunday at Lockdown.

<hr>

4szpEqH.png

<hr>The graphic promoting the appearance of Rey Mysterio, will be followed by a full and comprehensive look at the entire card for Lockdown. JB & Josh will also inform viewers to keep up to date with Impact Wrestling’s social media, including more in-depth looks at each of the rivalries, available on the Impact Wrestling YouTube page.

Eddie Edwards bt. Ethan Carter to retain the Impact Grand Championship, winning all three rounds

Following the match, a promo cut by Eddie Edwards in Chicago, Illinois will be played. Promoting the PPV, including the fact that the status of the Impact Grand Championship will be on the line, Eddie Edwards will eventually be cut off by Alberto El Patron. Standing at the top of the ramp, Alberto El Patron will come out and raise his Impact World Championship.

Pp3sDMm.pngP25AlFe.png

The show will end with the two men engaged in a staredown, as JB & Josh appear in the corner of the screen. Promoting the Impact Wrestling debut of Rey Mysterio, as well as the huge Impact World Championship match, they will get in the final “hard sell” for this Sunday’s Lockdown Pay-Per-View!

This desire came from the chip on the former Impact World Champion’s shoulder, after he was forced to vacate the title in the Summer of 2017. Feeling that Impact Wrestling had turned their back on him, Alberto looked elsewhere to reestablish his position within the company. Having come to a “handshake agreement” with Konnan and LAX, Alberto El Patron used this association to dominate opposition and become the Number One Contender. This led to the first episode of Impact Wrestling in 2018, where Alberto El Patron - without any outside help - clinically dismantled the Impact World Champion, defeating Johnny Impact via referee stoppable to fulfil his goal.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Despite having numerous Contenders lined up since that date, the first four months of 2018 has seen Alberto El Patron make zero defences of the Impact World Championship. This wasn’t through lack of challengers, but instead as a result of Alberto and his LAX associates making a concerted effort to target and neutralise any threat to Impact World Championship. While this went on, Eddie Edwards continued to establish himself as an international superstar, simultaneously holding the Impact Grand Championship, and the GHC Heavyweight Championship.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> The two men first crossed paths a couple of months ago, after Johnny Impact was declared unable to compete in a match where he was scheduled to team with Moose against Alberto El Patron and LAX. With Moose facing a 4-on-1 handicap match, he was joined by Eddie Edwards and Nakajima & Marufuji. During this match, Alberto El Patron was able to score a victory against Moose and it was later revealed that the Number One Contender had suffered an injury during the contest. With an “untouchable” status surrounding Alberto El Patron, and his ability to make challengers “disappear”, question marks arose as to whether anybody would be able to overcome Alberto El Patron (and his various methods of keeping his Impact World Championship). Up stepped Eddie Edwards…</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Initially, Alberto El Patron completely dismissed the Impact Grand Champion, claiming that his role in “screwing over” Homicide in a title defence as the reason. The persistent Eddie Edwards eventually got the attention of Alberto El Patron, only to be shot down on multiple occasions. Questioning the character of Eddie Edwards, after he looked to “steal” the Number One Contendership from his apparent friend Moose, Alberto El Patron would eventually turn his attention to the title that Eddie Edwards currently holds. Running down the Impact Grand Championship, Alberto El Patron suggested that the title had “no history, no lineage and no prestige”. The disrespect of the Impact Grand Championship was eventually taken to the next level, as Alberto El Patron stamped on the centerplate of the title, in the middle of the ring. This was the fuse paper which ignited this rivalry, as Eddie Edwards lunged at Alberto El Patron, taking the World Champion down.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> The following week, Eddie Edwards made an impassioned challenge for the Impact World Championship, but was once again shot down by Alberto El Patron. Having taken particular issue with the Impact Grand Championship, El Patron eventually agreed to defend the title against Eddie Edwards at Lockdown, on one condition. This was where Alberto El Patron laid out his response, demanding that Eddie Edwards put the Impact Grand Championship up as collateral, promising to destroy the Championship should be win the match at Lockdown.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Locked inside a Steel Cage, in the Main Event of the Pay-Per-View, this match will prove that “The Man” can make the Championship… and can break it too!</span></span></p></div></blockquote><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="44295" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong>Lethal Lockdown</strong></span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong> </strong></span></span><img alt="1UMBg30.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/1UMBg30.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="zbxYOib.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/zbxYOib.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="MBBzVT1.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/MBBzVT1.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="FlrPi4u.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/FlrPi4u.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="1vq09KX.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/1vq09KX.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="1AjM6w0.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/1AjM6w0.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="BHbkbJD.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/BHbkbJD.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="N3labAa.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/N3labAa.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="2m3RYnU.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/2m3RYnU.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong> Latin American Xchange vs. “The Fight Back”</strong></span></span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><div style="text-align:left;"><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"><em>”This is no longer about taking over Impact Wrestling… this is about taking it down!”</em></span></span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>- Konnan</strong></span></span></span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></span></span></p><div style="text-align:right;"><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"><em>”We stand together… against LAX!”</em></span></span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>- Johnny Impact & Moose</strong></span></span></span></p></div><p></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Since their return to Impact Wrestling last year, the Konnan led group known as LAX have dominated. Recently, their domination to the next level, as the group became close associates of the powerful Alberto El Patron. As well as holding the World Tag Team Championships for much of the past twelve months, LAX have helped Alberto El Patron to the Impact World Championship, a title he won on the same night that LAX newcomer Ivelisse Velez became the Impact Knockouts Champion. Throughout their run, several trademarks of the group have showed up time and time again. These include their ability to attack in numbers, their relentless targeting of anybody who opposes them, and their complete lack of respect for authority, and the rules imposed upon them.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Two men who have stood against LAX, and were some of the first to declare themselves as members of “The Fight Back” were Johnny Impact and Moose. Arising from the two men’s chase of the Impact World Championship, each man found himself on the receiving end of some of LAX’s most brutal attacks. The effects of these assault would cause both men to miss several weeks of action throughout the past 4 months. Despite this, they continued to fight back against LAX, making it clear that they wouldn’t back down from this war. </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Outnumbering their rivals at every turn, LAX’s single focus - to dominate Impact Wrestling - allowed them to take advantage of the other commitments of their rivals. This meant that while a plethora of talents looked to stand up to LAX, including Allie, Braxton Sutter, Eddie Edwards and Marufuji & Nakajima, LAX always had an advantage. Following the dictatorial leadership on Konnan, LAX have made it clear that fighting as individuals against a unit as cohesive as themselves is simply not possible. This, as well as the announcement of the 4 vs. 4 Lethal Lockdown match, led to the official formation of “The Fight Back”.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Initially consisting of Johnny Impact and Moose, “The Fight Back” once again found themselves outnumbered. It was only after the conclusion of his rivalry with the so-called “Team Impact” (consisting of Ethan Carter, Brian Cage & Eli Drake) that James Storm was able to even the odds, albeit only temporarily. Soon Konnan had confirmed LAX’s final member, with Low-Ki returning to help the cause of his former teammates. However, the biggest surprise was yet to come, with nobody more shocked at the announcement of the final member of “The Fight Back” than LAX’s leader Konnan. Confirmed as the fourth member of “The Fight Back” just over a week before Lockdown, the Impact Wrestling debut of Rey Mysterio is undoubtedly the most anticipated moment of the upcoming Pay-Per-View event. Whether Rey Mysterio can inspire his team to victory, against a group led by the man who brought him into the consciousness of the North America audience is in the balance, but has led to one of the most eagerly awaited Lethal Lockdown matches in Impact Wrestling history.</span></span></p></div></blockquote><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="44295" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong>Impact Knockouts Championship Match</strong></span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong> </strong></span></span><img alt="FfulCsK.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/FfulCsK.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="1vq09KX.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/1vq09KX.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="GZlfmYj.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GZlfmYj.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong> Ivelisse Velez © vs. Allie</strong></span></span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><div style="text-align:left;"><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;">“It’s about time this little girl grew out of these childhood delusions.” </span></span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>- Konnan, when asked about Allie’s Championship ambitions</strong></span></span></span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></span></span></p><div style="text-align:right;"><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;">”You can call me a loser… you can call me a failure… but you can never call me a quitter!</span></span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"> I have never… I will never give up on my dreams!” </span></span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>- Allie</strong></span></span></span></p></div><p></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> To get to the route of this rivalry, you must go back to the first Impact Wrestling of the year, and the debut of Ivelisse Velez. After Konnan led LAX in “taking over” the broadcast of Impact Wrestling, “El Jefe” spoke disrespectfully towards the Impact Knockouts Champion, Gail Kim. This drew the attention of Gail, who was scheduled to vacate the Championship which she is so closely link to, as she officially retired from in-ring competition. During her retirement speech, she spoke out against LAX, particularly Konnan who had orchestrated the hijacking of the show. This proved to be a mistake, as her husband Robert Irvine - who was sat in the front row - was surrounded by Homicide, Ortiz & Santana. Threatening her husband with physical violence, Gail Kim was left with a choice. Either she defended her Knockouts Championship for one last time, or she watch LAX take her husband away to do with him whatever they wished. Eventually, Gail Kim accepted the challenge, expecting to face LAX’s Diamante. Instead, she was introduced to the group’s newest member, Ivelisse Velez, who caught Gail off guard and secured the victory. Humiliated in what was supposed to be her walk off into the sunset, Gail Kim would not be seen again, deciding to put the safety of her family before her deep desire for revenge.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> With a new Knockouts Champion, and the dominance of LAX growing, the roster fell almost entirely silent, despite the injustice which had just played out in front of them. The exception to this came from an unlikely source, as Allie became the first person to speak out against LAX’s actions. Breaking the fear-induced silence, Allie condemned LAX’s treatment of the company legend, standing alone in calling out Ivelisse Velez. This bravery didn’t get Allie very far, and the numbers game from Diamante and Ivelisse Velez was only neutralised by the return of Allie’s boyfriend Braxton Sutter. Standing by his woman through thick and thin, Sutter has often been the driving force behind Allie’s desire to keep fighting. Of course, this has made things even more personal, and has resulted in Braxton finding himself in increasingly dangerous situations.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Looking to break Allie, Ivelisse Velez continually looked to humiliate Braxton Sutter, going as far as physically assault her rival’s boyfriend. Using the tactics previously used on Gail Kim’s husband Robert Irvine, LAX went one step further, actually kidnapping Braxton Sutter, with the Impact Wrestling competitor going missing for two weeks. Resurfacing during Allie’s first Knockouts Championship match against Ivelisse Velez, she was met with the same choice that her hero Gail Kim had faced two months earlier. Forced to give up the dream opportunity that she had fought so hard for, Allie was made to lay down in the middle of the ring, in order to secure the safe return of Braxton.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> In the weeks following, Allie reached her lowest point. Just as Gail Kim had before her, Allie considered stepping down, questioning if her own personal goals were worth the risk that was posed to the person who matters to her most. A competitor himself, it was Braxton Sutter who convinced Allie to keep fighting. While her first attempt to become the Knockouts Champions had failed, she refused to give up, and following an impressive victory over LAX’s Diamante, Allie was rewarded with another shot at the Knockouts Championship. This time the match will be contested inside the Steel Cage, meaning that the effectiveness of LAX’s involvement will be drastically diminished. Having dreamed of becoming Knockouts Champion since she first saw Gail Kim win it over a decade ago, Lockdown could present Allie’s strongest opportunity yet for her to fulfil a career-long goal.</span></span></p></div></blockquote><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> <hr></span></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Lockdown Card</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong>Impact World Championship</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong> </strong></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong><span style="font-size:8px;">If Eddie Edwards loses, he will relinquish the Impact Grand Championship</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Alberto El Patron © vs. Eddie Edwards</span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong>Impact Knockouts Championship</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Ivelisse Velez © vs. Allie</span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong>Impact X Division Championship</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong> </strong></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong><span style="font-size:8px;">If Garza Jr. loses, he will leave Impact Wrestling</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Matt Sydal © vs. Garza Jr.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong>Lethal Lockdown</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> LAX </span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;">(Homicide, Low-Ki, Ortiz & Santana)</span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> vs. The Fight Back </span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;">(James Storm, Johnny Impact, Moose & Rey Mysterio)</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Rosemary vs. Taya Valkyrie</span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Kid Kash & Zema Ion vs. The Gatekeepers (Petey Williams & Sonjay Dutt)</span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> What will be the purpose of Joseph Park’s appearance?</span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Will any member(s) of “Team Impact” (Brian Cage / Eli Drake / Ethan Carter) compete at Lockdown?</span></p></div><p></p>

Throughout his run with the title, Sydal has enjoyed a healthy rivalry with many of his fellow X Division Athletes. Starting out much the same, the desire of Garza Jr. to become the X Division Championship has gone from healthy competition, to an unhealthy obsession with Matt Sydal’s title. Stemming from defeats to the X Division Champion, and a struggle to integrate into the wrestling culture of Impact, Garza Jr. has found himself driven to more and more desperate actions, in his desire to prove himself to the North American audience. Often, this has resulted in issues with Sydal.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> One of the most laid back figures in Impact Wrestling, the X Division Champion is somebody who is content to live his life with as little conflict as possible. Having successfully defended his Championship on a number of occasions, while keeping out of the usual drama of a rivalry, Matt Sydal’s laid back attitude may have been a catalyst for Garza Jr.’s growing frustrations. Unable to beat the man, for whom success appears to come all too easy, Garza Jr. allowed his emotions to get the better of him. This came to a head when Garza Jr. was unable to put away the Champion in a non-title match, with the angered Garza Jr. getting DQ’d after he refused to acknowledge a rope break. Even after the bell, Garza Jr. would not relent, and it took members of the security team to eventually lead him away.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Having created this personal issue with Matt Sydal, Garza Jr. appeared to distance himself from those actions, and while he stopped short of an apology, it did appear that the incident could be put down as being the result of a uncharacteristic slip by Garza Jr. Continuing to impress, Garza Jr. found himself with the opportunity he desired, and after doing what appeared to be enough to become the new X Division Champion, he managed to defeat Matt Sydal. Unfortunately, the victory came as a result on a countout, and Garza Jr. saw his title opportunity slip through his fingers. This heartbreaking disappointment, coupled with an increasing doubt in his ability to fulfil his ultimate goal, lead Garza Jr. to make a drastic call. Issuing one more challenge to Matt Sydal, Garza Jr. asked for a final opportunity at the X Division Champion. So desperate was he to earn this shot, he vowed that should Matt Sydal walk out of Lockdown as X Division Champion, Garza Jr. would leave Impact Wrestling forever!</span></span></p></div></blockquote><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="44295" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="HfNMtyj.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/HfNMtyj.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="qVqXzX6.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/qVqXzX6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="1vq09KX.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/1vq09KX.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="CfvJqz1.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/CfvJqz1.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="GfQ0Q4P.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GfQ0Q4P.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong>Kid Kash & Zema Ion vs. The Gatekeepers</strong></span></span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><div style="text-align:right;"><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"><em>”Without the classic matches we had… there is no X Division!”</em></span></span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>- Petey Williams</strong></span></span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"><em>”This division doesn’t run through us… we run through it!”</em></span></span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>- Sonjay Dutt</strong></span></span></span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></span></span></p><div style="text-align:left;"><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"><em>”You are not the X Division anymore… this is 2018, </em></span></span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"><em><em>we</em></em></span></span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"><em> are the X Division!”</em></span></span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>- Zema Ion</strong></span></span></span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Upon their return to Impact Wrestling in 2017, Petey Williams and Sonjay Dutt’s addition to the X Division provided a welcome link back to the “golden generation” of the division, and their veteran status saw many of the company’s young talents looking to them for advice. Both men enjoyed successful returns, with Sonjay Dutt becoming the X Division Champion for the very first time, 14 years after his Impact Wrestling debut. However, a few months after their debut, it appeared that the honeymoon period was over. With their win-loss ratio getting weaker by the month, there was a change in the attitude of “The Gatekeepers”. Initially this manifested itself in the advice they were passing down to their fellow X Division Athletes, and was amplified as Dutt and Williams began to overstate their places in Impact Wrestling history. When some of the younger members of the roster caught wind of this, they distanced themselves from Petey Williams and Sonjay Dutt.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> This didn’t sit well with the veterans, who felt that the younger talent were showing them a lack of respect. The issues came to a head on an episode of Impact Wrestling, when a team consisting of Dezmond Xavier, Mike Bailey and Zema Ion defeated The B.T.C. Joining Dezmond Xavier and Zema Ion in the ring, The Gatekeepers would shockingly attack the duo, just moments after shaking their hands. From this moment, Williams & Dutt were open in their beliefs, stating that without them there would be no X Division. This didn’t sit well with Xavier and Zema, but try as they might, they could not get their Tag Team match against the duo. Eventually The Gatekeepers would agree to the match, but waited until after Zema Ion had already been in action that night to do so. As a result, The Gatekeepers picked up a victory over the youngsters, taking advantage of the fatigued Zema Ion. From that moment on, the self styled “Glass Ceiling” refused to engage with the up and coming stars, and eventually Xavier and Zema were forced to go over their heads.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Having finally received confirmation of the match from Impact Wrestling management, disaster struck. Having faced before, in the first ever “Red Wedding” match, it appeared that the rivalry between the two women couldn’t get any deeper. In fact, when Taya Valkyrie returned to Impact earlier in the year, it appeared as though she had changed. As hard as she tried to convince her fellow Knockouts of this, one woman remain skeptical throughout. Struggling to keep her emotions in check, Taya Valkyrie has shown glimpses of her former self, but managed to largely convince her colleagues that she had changed for the better. Again, Rosemary was not convinced.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Eventually, Taya was given a chance to prove herself. An opportunity to silence the doubts that Rosemary had, and prove herself a valuable asset to “The Fight Back” against LAX. This came following an injury to Allie, who was ruled out of a Tag Team match which also featured Rosemary and the female members of LAX. Having agree to fill in for Rosemary and even the odds, Taya had a last minute change of heart. Telling Allie and Rosemary that she “couldn’t do it”, Taya left Rosemary in an impossible position. With Rosemary suffering defeat, and a post-match beatdown from Diamante and Ivelisse Velez, Taya ran down to make the save… but choked. Backing out at the final moment once again, Taya left Rosemary alone in the ring. When Rosemary demanded answers the following week, she got none. While Taya did apologise for her actions, even convincing Crazzy Steve to try and “reason” with Rosemary, her true colours shone through, as she pushed Steve into Rosemary and issued the challenge for Lockdown. Rosemary was all too ready to accept the challenge, and this long and personal rivalry will take on an extra edge, as they go one on one inside the Steel Cage.</span></span></p></div></blockquote><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> <hr></span></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Lockdown Card</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong>Impact World Championship</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong> </strong></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong><span style="font-size:8px;">If Eddie Edwards loses, he will relinquish the Impact Grand Championship</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Alberto El Patron © vs. Eddie Edwards</span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong>Impact Knockouts Championship</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Ivelisse Velez © vs. Allie</span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong>Impact X Division Championship</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong> </strong></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong><span style="font-size:8px;">If Garza Jr. loses, he will leave Impact Wrestling</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Matt Sydal © vs. Garza Jr.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong>Lethal Lockdown</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> LAX </span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;">(Homicide, Low-Ki, Ortiz & Santana)</span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> vs. The Fight Back </span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size:8px;">(James Storm, Johnny Impact, Moose & Rey Mysterio)</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Rosemary vs. Taya Valkyrie</span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Kid Kash & Zema Ion vs. The Gatekeepers (Petey Williams & Sonjay Dutt)</span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> What will be the purpose of Joseph Park’s appearance?</span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Will any member(s) of “Team Impact” (Brian Cage / Eli Drake / Ethan Carter) compete at Lockdown?</span></p></div><p></p>

Drake will say that the reason he asks this is because they have been in the back all day, and they haven’t seen one person who could be considered to be “in charge”. He will continue, saying that they’ve been looking for that figure all day, and of course they haven’t had any answers about their role tonight. It is for that reason that Eli Drake stands in the ring with his oldest friend as the Impact World Tag Team Champions. And since there is no law in Impact Wrestling, then they’re going to shut up construction down. Park will say that when he looks around at Impact Wrestling, and the chaos that marked the past six months of the company’s history, he has been led to a number of conclusions. One of these conclusion is that Eli Drake has a point, and there is a “dog eat dog” mentality in the company. But as a result of that, Joseph Park has been throughout entertained, watching the evolution of this ulta-competitive environment. This is what he believes Impact Wrestling need to harbour, and that brings him to why he is why he is here. Joseph Park will then tell Natural Selection that if it is law and order they want, then they’re looking at “The New Law of Impact Wrestling”.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Reacting to the announcement, Eli Drake will ask Joseph Park “what do you know about running a wrestling company?” Joseph Park will reply by saying that he may not have been in this business for as long as the men in the ring, but he does understand the traditions, the rules and the standards expected by the corporate executives, the boys in the back, and “most importantly” the wrestling fans who keep this business going. Joseph Park will say that he has done his research, and he has now been employed to do a simple job. That job is to enforce the rules to the “letter of the law”. This will not satisfy Eli Drake, who will have further objections. However, Joseph Park will quickly shut him down, saying that his job isn’t to be part of the show, his job is to make sure that there is a show for the talent of Impact Wrestling to showcase themselves. He will add that the current roster is jam-packed full of talent, and his job is to ensure a level playing field for every single man and woman who works for the company.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Eli Drake will continue to probe Joseph Park, saying that if this is about equal opportunities, then why are two of the Champions of this company not on the card. Cutting in, Eli Drake will say that just like in the “World Series of Soccer” the United States are going to kick Canada’s ass. It should also be noted that the match will be the only non-Steel Cage match of the night. Out of the gates, the highly charged Mike Bailey and Stu Grayson will take the match to the unprepared Eli Drake and Brian Cage. This will result in a match where the Team Canada members enjoy an impressive amount of offence, worrying the World Tag Team Champions on a number of occasions. Eventually, the tide will begin to turn, and the increased presence of Brian Cage in the ring will serve his team well. Now able to take control, the World Tag Team Champions will grow cocky, and risk being the creators of their own downfall. Taking advantage of a communication error between Natural Selection, Stu Grayson will be able to hit Brian Cage with a Springboard Flying Knee. This will knock the big man off balance, as Grayson brings Mike Bailey into the match. Looking to take Brian Cage down, Mike Bailey will make his way to the top rope, but will be distracted when up there by Eli Drake. That split second lapse will allow Brian Cage to regain his bearings, resulting in Mike Bailey being caught from an attempted Crossbody. Running towards the corner, Brian Cage will use Bailey as a battering ram, knocking Grayson off the apron. He will then shift Mike Bailey onto his shoulder, delivering a Running Powerslam. As Brian Cage covers Bailey, the commentators will put over the decisive moment in the match, emphasising the impact of Eli Drake’s distraction moments ago.</div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Winners:</strong></div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Natural Selection </div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Duration:</strong></div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"> 8 minutes</div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></div></span><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Following the match, as Natural Selection celebrate their victory in the ring, the commentators will talk through highlights from the match. However, it will be noted that the Impact World Tag Team Champions were victorious, even with the words of “The Law of Impact” Joseph Park ringing in their ears. </span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><em>(2 minutes)</em></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Moving on, the commentators will switch their focus to the next match of the evening, heavily promoting the upcoming Lethal Lockdown match. This will include footage of the various Championship victories of members (and associates) of the group, mixed with soundbites from the outspoken leader of the group, Konnan. Eventually, the tone of the package will change, with the focus switching to “The Fight Back”. Standing together against LAX, the roster began a counter offensive against Konnan’s group, with Johnny Impact and Moose, and then James Storm stepping up to the plate. With James Storm and Johnny Impact out in the ring, the group will be able to focus their attention solely on Moose. Despite this, the former Impact Grand Champion will be able to fight back against LAX, taking Ortiz and Santana down. While he impressively takes the fight to both Ortiz & Santana, he will fail to see Homicide making it back to his feet. Throwing an array of kicks, Low-Ki will help to squash any potential uprising from Storm, Impact and Moose. This will serve them well, as their sole focus becomes the final entry to the match. Having completely and utterly dominated the Lethal Lockdown match to this point, all four members of LAX will stand across the ring, eagly anticipating the entrance of Rey Mysterio.</div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="1UMBg30.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/1UMBg30.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="zbxYOib.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/zbxYOib.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="MBBzVT1.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/MBBzVT1.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="FlrPi4u.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/FlrPi4u.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="1vq09KX.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/1vq09KX.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="NlYtxao.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/NlYtxao.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="kYrIefh.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kYrIefh.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="xyC1mgx.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/xyC1mgx.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="2m3RYnU.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/2m3RYnU.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Latin American Xchange vs. James Storm, Johnny Impact & Moose</strong></div></div><p></p><p></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> As Rey Mysterio makes his way, he will embrace the fans in the front row. However, when he reaches the steps that lead into the ring, he will be confronted by Konnan. Going face to face, Rey Mysterio will not say a word. Neither will Konnan, but his body language will tell the story. Shaking his head at Mysterio, Konnan’s feeling of betrayal will be talked about on commentary.</div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Reaching the top of the steps, Rey Mysterio will look to the ring, realising the challenge that lays in front of him. Josh Matthews will sarcastically say “welcome to Impact…” and Jeremy Borash will talk about the Lucha legend being thrown in at the deep end. Once he enters the ring, Rey Mysterio will be the sole focus of LAX, who will be happy to take their time. Rey Mysterio will tell the four men to bring it on, as the ceiling of the Lethal Lockdown lowers. Looking up at the weapons above them, Homicide, Low-Ki, Santana and Ortiz will prepare to finish the job, but fail to notice what is happening behind them.</div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> With their singular focus on Rey, LAX will be oblivious to James Storm, Johnny Impact and Moose all simultaneously rising to their feet. With the odds now evened up, Jeremy Borash will declare that “The Fight Back… is on!” At this moment, Rey Mysterio will run at Homicide, as the other three members of LAX are grabbed from behind. Taking the fight to each member of LAX, “The Fight Back” will be the first to retrieve the weapons hanging from the top of the Steel Cage. Using a Trash Can, a Steel Chair and a Kendo Stick, Storm, Moose and Impact will have their counterparts complete under control. With the action in the ring thinning, Rey Mysterio will be allowed to showcase his impressive abilities, with the commentators putting over him as being “in the best shape of his career” and looking “better than ever” inside the ring.</div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> On the outside, Konnan will become irate, as he sees a victory which appeared to be in the bag, slowly slip away. Back in the ring, it will become fairly academic for “The Fight Back” who will dismantle the dominant LAX in a ruthless and cathartic manner. With the match in their hands, “The Fight Back” will hit signature move after signature move on LAX, looking to delight the audience. James Storm will hit a Last Call Superkick to Santana, while Johnny Impact takes out Low-Ki with an Impact Elbow. Moose will hit a Go To Hell to Ortiz.</div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Now, “The Fight Back” will be left with one member of LAX, who they will surround in the ring. Homicide will slowly make his way to his feet, eventually becoming aware of his surrounding. As Homicide makes a vain attempt to fight his way out of trouble, Jeremy Borash will put over the “original” member of LAX, who has been Konnan’s right-hand man for well over a decade. It will therefore mean the most, according to Borash, that he is the man that all four members of “The Fight Back” are able to take down. Taking it in turns, James Storm will be the first to act, hitting Homicide with a Superkick. Homicide will then turn into a second Superkick from Johnny Impact, before being hit with a Discuss Lariat from Moose. Staggering back to his feet, Rey Mysterio will hit Homicide with a Dropkick to the back, sending his neck into the second rope. Realising that he won’t be able to hit the “619”, Rey Mysterio will acknowledge this with a shrug, as Homicide rebounds back up. Passing Homicide over to Moose, Rey Mysterio will watch as Moose hits another Spear to Homicide, before dragging him into position. Rey Mysterio will then climb to the top rope, as the three other members of “The Fight Back” ensure that LAX stay down. Mysterio will then hit Homicide with a Frog Splash, pinning him to score the victory for his team.</div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Winners:</strong></div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Rey Mysterio </div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Duration:</strong></div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"> 25 minutes</div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></div></div></span><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="44295" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong>Location:</strong></span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> In-Ring</span></span><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong>Duration:</strong></span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> 3 minutes</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Following the match, the commentators will put over the victory of “The Fight Back”, who came back from certain defeat to overcome LAX. When Rosemary asked for answers, Taya only had an apology, the sincerity of which was vastly undermined by her actions after it. Looking to gain the edge, Taya will get the better of Rosemary, and send her crashing down to the mat with a Russian Leg Sweep.</div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Taya will then demand that the Steel Cage door be opened. However, as she goes to leave the cage, Rosemary will make a last ditch effort to stop her, grabbing Taya’s foot. Taya will fight her off, stamping on the hand of Rosemary. She will then grab the prone Rosemary, dragging her away from the door. Taya will then pick her up from the canvas, looking to trap her between the top and bottom rope. With Rosemary’s arms caught in the ropes, Taya will go to leave the cage, but come back to talk more trash. This will prove a mistake, as the seemingly hopeless Rosemary sprays Red Mist into the eyes of Valkyrie. Now blinded, Taya will try to crawl out of the ring, but will lose her bearings and fail to escape. While Taya struggles, Rosemary will manage to free herself, allowing her to stalk her opponent in the ring. When Taya does make it to her feet, she will stagger straight into a “Red Wedding” from Rosemary, which will be enough to secure the victory.</div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Winner:</strong></div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Rosemary</div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Duration:</strong></div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"> 10 minutes</div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></div></div></span><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Following Rosemary’s victory, she will be joined in the ring by Crazzy Steve. While he has crossed the line on a couple of occasions, Garza has made it clear that the issues aren’t personal, but instead stem from his strong desire to prove himself to the North American audience. This will be pointed out as what inspired him to make the challenge - following a heartbreaking countout victory in his last opportunity - to put his Impact Wrestling career on the line, if he can’t win the X Division Championship at Lockdown. As a result of the heightened stakes of the match, both competitors agreed that escaping the cage is not a valid method of victory, an agreement that was ratified earlier in the week. Putting over the importance of the match, the commentators will point out the tentative start to the match, with both competitors trying to work out the other’s strategy. This will be compounded by the competitor familiarity with each other, resulting in a fairly slow start. Of course, with the styles of the two competitors, it wasn’t long before the action kicked into gear. Sent to the ring to go all out, the match will be fast paced, with each competitor laying everything out in the ring. This will be particularly true for Garza Jr., for whom his Impact Wrestling future will depend on success or failure. With Matt Sydal seemingly able to deal rather comfortably with some of Garza Jr’s best shots, the commentators will point to a “tone of resignation” that Garza showed during his pre-match interview, with Borash suggesting that he has mentally prepared himself for the worst case scenario. Despite this, the action in the ring will tell a different story, one of a man who very much sees himself in with a chance.</div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Throwing everything that he has at Matt Sydal, the challenger will struggle to make that decisive impact on the Champion, and his frustration will begin to show again. This will result in the match becoming slightly less polished, as Garza Jr’s instinct to fight takes over his training and in-ring skills. The change of tact will seem to serve Garza Jr. well, and he will hit an impressive Superkick that will gain him a very close fall. One of his best shots, the kick out will have Garza Jr. close to pulling his hair out. However, Garza Jr. will have another idea, locking in “La Campana”, an elevated revere Boston Crab. This will wear Sydal down, but will not be enough to secure victory. At this point, desperate times will call for desperate measures. Garza will wait for Sydal to get back to his feet, before hitting him with another Superkick. Instead of going for the cover this time, Garza Jr. will look to the top of the cage. The commentators will speculate on what he has planned, reacting in disbelief as he begins to climb the Steel Cage.</div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> When Garza Jr. reaches the top of the cage, his expression will be that of a crazed madman, who has been pushed over the edge by his desire to become the X Division Champion. The commentators will say that this is a man who has ran out of ideas, and is set to take the biggest risk of his career. Garza Jr. will then turn his back on the ring, attempting his signature Moonsault (the regular version of which failed to put Sydal away earlier) from the top of the Cage. However, at the last moment, Matt Sydal will move out of the way, sending Garza Jr. crashing into the mat. Laid motionless in the ring, Garza Jr. will be covered by Matt Sydal, who realises that there is no further action required. Having risked it all for the X Division Championship, Garza Jr. will be defeated as a result of his own actions.</div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Winner:</strong></div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Matt Sydal</div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Duration:</strong></div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"> 12 minutes</div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></div></div></span><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="44295" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong>Location:</strong></span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> In-Ring</span></span><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong>Duration:</strong></span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> 4 minutes</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Having had a lot taken out of him by Garza Jr., Matt Sydal will be subdued when he is handed the X Division Championship.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="2yxjlqb.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/2yxjlqb.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> While Sydal will acknowledge the crowd, his celebrations will be muted, as he casts a sympathetic glance towards his challenger. The commentators will react to the “disgusting actions” of Garza Jr., suggesting that he had this “Plan B” all along. Despite his promise to leave the company if he lost, Borash will suggest that he has a feeling that Garza Jr. has no intention at all of going through with the agreement. Hijacking what was set to be Gail Kim’s retirement speech, LAX took the then Knockouts Champion’s husband hostage. Threatening him with physical violence, Gail was forced to defend her Championship for one final time, to avoid her husband coming to serious harm. As a result, an unprepared Gail Kim was defeated by the debuting Ivelisse Velez. Instead of fighting for revenge, having already agreed to retire, Gail Kim walked away, prioritising her family’s safety. With the Knockouts Locker Room falling silent over the injustice, one woman stood up to the group. Footage will show the trouble that has followed Allie, since she made the brave step to speak out about the nature of Ivelisse’s victory. This will include the harm done to her boyfriend, as well as the humiliating moment when she was forced to lay down for Ivelisse Velez, in a Knockouts Championship match. Like Gail, Allie considered walking away as little as a month ago, but was convinced to stay and fight by Braxton Sutter, the man who had been tortured by LAX simply for standing by his girlfriend. It will also be put over that tonight she isn’t just fighting for herself, but for her hero Gail Kim, who was humiliated by Ivelisse Velez all those months ago. On the other side of the ring, a cold and calculated Knockouts Champion will be waiting. Bringing the emotional energy to the match, Allie will look to put over a determined figure, who will fall into the various traps of Ivelisse Velez’s approach. This will allow Ivelisse to take control of the match, after it settles from Allie’s opening flurry. The next few minutes which follow will be extremely one sided, with Ivelisse Velez dismantling Allie with ruthless precision. As this dominance continues, the commentators will call the match “one of the most one sided Championship matches in Knockouts history”. This will appear to come to ahead when Allie makes a failed comeback attempt, and is knocked out with a Roundhouse Kick from Ivelisse Velez. Instead of going for a cover, Ivelisse will dismissively ask for the cage door to be opened, allowing her to walk her way to Championship victory. </div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> However, as Ivelisse comes close to leaving the ring, Allie will grab her by the foot. This will look to be a bad idea, as Ivelisse Velez brutal stamps on Allie’s hands. The Knockouts Champion will then continue to lay boots into Allie, until she can no longer put up any resistance. Velez will continue to walk out of the cage, but as she places one foot on the ring steps, Allie will grab her around the waist. Refusing to let go, Allie will eventually be able to drag Ivelisse Velez back into the ring. Bundling over, it will be clear that Allie has next to nothing in the tank. Sensing this, Ivelisse will leave Allie in front of the cage door, instead opting to leave via the other side of the cage. Climbing to the top turnbuckle and looking to scale the fencing, Ivelisse Velez will again look set to score a comprehensive victory. Once more, there will be fight left in Allie. Joining Velez, Allie will reach the top turnbuckle and grab her opponent, bringing her back down to the rope. With both women now stood on the top rope, Allie will use her last morsel of energy to overpower Ivelisse Velez. Crashing down from the top rope, Allie will be able to hit a Cutter to Ivelisse Velez, resulting in a huge impact in the middle of the ring. It will be pointed out that if not for the actions of Diamante, there would be a new Knockouts Champion. That will be of no help to Allie, who will be clearly upset as she leaves the ringside area.</span></span></p></div></blockquote><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> With the commentators continuing to talk about the broken dream of Allie, and yet another injustice from LAX, they will reflect of “The Fight Back” and their victory earlier in the night. Putting over the heroic performance, particularly of the “game changing” Rey Mysterio, they will say that despite Allie’s defeat, there is still another chance tonight to hit back at LAX. This will lead them to talk about LAX associate Alberto El Patron, and his match against Eddie Edwards. As both men are shown on a split screen, each holding a Championship, it will be put over that for Eddie Edwards tonight isn’t just about the revenge that Impact Wrestling are seeking, but also about defending the honour of his Impact Grand Championship. This will lead into the video package for the Main Event. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Following clips from both men’s Championship victories, the difference between the two men will be highlighted through their words. While Alberto El Patron has considered himself to be the rightful Champion from day one, Eddie Edwards has continually fought to prove himself and the worth of the Impact Grand Championship. These two opposing ideas came to a head, when Alberto El Patron’s behaviour caught the attention of Eddie Edwards. In response, El Patron ran down the Impact Grand Championship, claiming that it has zero value to the fans and the competitors. While Eddie clearly disagreed with Alberto, it was only when the Impact World Champion disrespectfully stamped on the Impact Grand Championship that this rivalry burst into flames. Losing his cool, Eddie Edwards laid a beating on Alberto El Patron, defending the Championship which he had fought so hard to win. Edwards vowed to prove his Championship status to Alberto El Patron, but the dismissive World Champion refused to engage with him. Eventually, after Eddie made a passionate defence of the title, Alberto El Patron’s position shifted, inspired by his desire to destroy the Impact Grand Championship. Setting up the Main Event of Lockdown, Alberto El Patron agreed to allow Eddie Edwards to challenge him for the Impact World Championship, as long as he agreed to put the Grand Championship up as collateral, should he fail to win the match. </span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><em>(4 minutes)</em></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> <div style=" border: 2px solid black";"><div style=" border: 4px solid blue";"></span></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>[impact World Championship Match]</strong></div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><img alt="NVQ5Jhw.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/NVQ5Jhw.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="1vq09KX.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/1vq09KX.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="5gNMLT6.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/5gNMLT6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Alberto El Patron © vs. Eddie Edwards</strong></div></div><p></p><p></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Establishing the differences between the two men before the bell, the in-ring introductions will highlight the differing attitudes of the two competitors. Cockily handing over the Impact World Championship, it will be clear that the confident Alberto El Patron feels sure that he will be holding it again at the end of the night. On the other side of the ring, Eddie Edwards will have a “moment” with the Impact Grand Championship, well aware that it could be the last time he holds the title. When the bell rings, the two men will begin to feel each other out.</div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> From this, Eddie Edwards will gain the first strike, and there will be an extremely early attempt from the challenger to lock in the Ankle Lock. El Patron will frantically escape the attempt, but it will quickly be established just how quickly this match could end. This early scare will appear to unsettle Alberto El Patron, as Eddie Edwards keeps calm and collected, acting almost as a matador to Alberto’s raging bull. The commentators will suggest that this is a moment in a match that would usually see Alberto roll out of the ring to take a minute to regroup, but point out that it is simply not an option in the match. As a result, he will have to ride the wave of Eddie Edwards’ momentum, looking to find an opening. Put over as a test of Alberto’s resolve, the Impact World Champion will eventually find the chink in Edwards’ armour, beginning to focus on the elbow and shoulder of the Impact Grand Champion. There will also be work done to the elbow and wrist, with the commentators explaining that the Ankle Lock relies on the wrenching motion of the lower arm.</div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Having done a similar job on Johnny Impact when he won the title, Alberto El Patron will employ the same approach. This will allow him to make the middle portion of the match his. Eddie Edwards will enjoy some bright moments, but El Patron will quickly look to slow the match down, grinding away at his challenger.</div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Zoning in, Alberto El Patron will focus his attention on the areas most affected by the Cross Armbreaker, and with Eddie Edwards down he will prepare to lock in the hold. When Edwards returns to his knees, Alberto El Patron will be straight on top of him, locking in the Cross Armbreaker. In the struggle that follows, Edwards will desperately look to avoid the move, with the commentators suggesting that the challenger knows that if Alberto locks the move in fully, then it is game over. Eventually, Edwards will be able to roll over, putting El Patron in a pinning predicament. Not realising until the referee counts two, Alberto El Patron will kick out. The reversal, as well as the close call of the pin attempt will startle El Patron into action, and he will furiously take the offensive to the next level. This will see him repeatedly lay his boots and knees into the elbow and shoulder of Eddie Edwards, before picking him up from the canvas. Putting Edwards’ arm behind his back, El Patron will launch Eddie into the Steel Cage, shoulder first.</div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> This will be the theme of the rest of the match, with El Patron throwing Edwards into the turnbuckles. When Alberto El Patron next attempts the Cross Armbreaker, Eddie Edwards will escape his clutches, seemingly heading towards the door. Whether a coincidence or a desperate escape attempt, Alberto will not take it well. Opening the Steel Cage door, Alberto El Patron will mockingly stretch out the hand of Eddie Edwards, before slamming the door onto his arm. El Patron will repeatedly slam the door into the arm of Eddie Edwards. However, during the last time he attempts to slam the door, Eddie Edwards will hit a back kick to Alberto El Patron, hitting him with heel of his boot between the Impact World Champion’s legs. El Patron will fall to the mat, as Eddie Edwards looks to leave the cage. Stopping the escape, Alberto El Patron will grab the leg of Eddie Edwards, putting on his own Ankle Lock to the Grand Champion. After another struggle, Edwards will roll out of the move, sending Alberto El Patron crashing into the door of the cage. Falling backwards, it will have only been the ropes that stopped El Patron from leaving the cage.</div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> From here, Eddie Edwards will look to leave, but the damage to his ankle will force him to crawl. While Eddie Edwards will reach the exit, he will be grabbed from behind by El Patron, who will throw him across the ring with a German Suplex. With the door now shut, Alberto El Patron will spot the chain that had been used to lock it and pull it out. Approaching the challenger and putting his knee on Eddie’s neck, El Patron will place the chain around the elbow joint of Eddie Edwards, pulling back his arm in a vicious manner. Edwards will yell out in pain, and Alberto will pull back in a final wrench, which has a whiplashing effect on the arm. Alberto El Patron will then mockingly begin to signal for the Cross Armbreaker, slapping his wrist before grabbing Edwards by the hand. Locking in the hold in the middle of the ring, Alberto El Patron will pull back on the hold in a violent manner. Going from arrogant to rabid in the blink of an eye, Alberto El Patron will demand the referee ask Eddie Edwards if he gives up. The referee will speak to Edwards, and while it won’t be explicitly clear that Edwards has submitted, the official will call for the bell.</div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Winner:</strong></div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Alberto El Patron</div><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Duration:</strong></div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"> 20 minutes</div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"></div></div></span><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="44295" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong>Location:</strong></span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> In-Ring</span></span><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><strong>Duration:</strong></span></span><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> 3 minutes</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-family:'Trebuchet MS';"> Breathing heavily, Alberto El Patron will return to his feet after holding on to Edwards’ arm following the victory. Carrying the Impact World Championship, Alberto El Patron will demand the Grand Championship is given to him. When the referee brings it over, Alberto El Patron will snatch the Championship from his hands, before throwing the title up the stage. El Patron will then continue the short way up to the top of the ramp, kicking the Championship forward as he does. On commentary, Josh Matthews and Jeremy Borash will be disgusted by Alberto El Patron’s actions. This will be taken further when he turns back to face the ring, placing his boot on top of the conquered Grand Championship. He will then hold his Impact World Championship high in the air, as Lockdown concludes. The commentators will add their final thoughts, saying that despite the victory of “The Fight Back” earlier tonight, and the hope that it brought, there is still a long way to go to solve the issues that face the company. They will promote this week’s upcoming episode, asking if Joseph Park is the right man to enforce order on the chaotic landscape of Impact Wrestling. Whether he can do this or not, he will face the backlash of a wounded LAX, and an Impact World Champion who only appears to be growing stronger by the minute.</span></span></p></div></blockquote>

Terrific man, seriously. The World X Cup caught me off guard, I am terribly excited. Watching the competitors slowly unravel as the episode poured on had me hyped. Thinking Garza's well-done turn was to introduce those four as World X Cup participants, with Sydal heading the USA team? Petey surely has to head the Canadian team. :D What of Sonjay then? :p

Good main event with ADR going over in impressive fashion. I wanted ti also highlight your subtly ability to use the X-Division wrestlers with the other workers, as TNA has done a fine job of for the most part, in the past. Obviously just pointing this out because of how 205 Live is squandered by the talent exclusively fighting each other, in part. I enjoy it personally, but know why it flopped.

Just days after the brutal and historic Lockdown Pay-Per-View, Impact Wrestling returns with another jam-packed show. With LAX still reeling from their defeat to “The Fight Back”, Joseph Park announced that the recently returned Low-Ki will team up with his close friend Homicide, to face the team of Eddie Edwards & Moose. Having lost to Impact World Champion, Alberto El Patron, at Lockdown - in a extremely physical contest - the defeated Eddie Edwards declared himself fit to compete. Eddie Edwards was forced to relinquish the Impact Grand Championship as a condition of the loss at Lockdown, and will be desperate to get back to winning ways as soon as possible.

Another competitor looking to put Lockdown behind her is Allie, who was defeated by Ivelisse Velez in her Knockouts Championship match. Putting everything into victory, she was just moments away from becoming the new Champion, when the Steel Cage door was slammed in her face by LAX’s Diamante. Sienna presents the latest challenge to Allie, and will look to capitalise on the wounded Championship hopeful.

At Lockdown, as “The New Law of Impact” was revealed to be Joseph Park, a huge announcement was made. Promoting the return of the “World X Cup”, representatives from all four of the teams will be in action on this week’s Impact Wrestling, each looking to get early points on the board. Giving a preview of the World X Cup, Team Mexico’s King Fenix, Penta El Zero M and Daga made premature debuts at Lockdown, entering the cage to attack the X Division Champion Matt Sydal. Initiated by the defeated Garza Jr., who had claimed he would leave Impact Wrestling if he lost, “La Rebelion” made their first impact on the company, and will be heavy favourites going into the competition.

Also promoted for the show is an appearance from Rey Mysterio, who led “The Fight Back” to victory at Lockdown!

"Blood on the Battlefield"

2hH2T7x.png

Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada - Announcers: Jeremy Borash & Josh Matthews

Impact Wrestling will open with stills from this Saturday’s Lockdown Pay-Per-View. The video package will show key moments from the evening, such as the announcement of Joseph Park as “The New Law of Impact”, the victory of “The Fight Back”, who defeated LAX in the Lethal Lockdown match, and the debut of “La Rebellion”, who attacked Matt Sydal after he had just defeated their friend Garza Jr. The Championship victories of Ivelisse Velez and Alberto El Patron will also be shown. Speaking over the package, the commentators will say that there is “blood left on the battlefield” and all the reaction to Lockdown will come tonight on Impact Wrestling. This will lead into the opening credits of the show. (3 minutes)

Location: In-Ring

Duration: 10 minutes

Straight out of the opening credits, the music of LAX will play. As the gunshots are heard throughout the building, the commentators will run through the night that LAX had at Lockdown, with focus squarely on the headline grabbing defeat to “The Fight Back”. Making their way to the ring, the entire contingent of LAX will fill the area.

DxdO1Fh.pngFfulCsK.pngzbxYOib.pngZkqPPcb.png1UMBg30.pngMBBzVT1.pngFlrPi4u.png

Wasting no time, Konnan will be straight into a heated tirade calling Rey Mysterio a “traitorous rat” and ranting incorerantly about the rest of “The Fight Back”. He will be angry with how the victory has been presented, saying that what happen at Lockdown doesn’t mean anything. Konnan will then point to Ivelisse’s Knockouts Championship, saying that when it matters, LAX still manage to get the job done. He will continue, saying that “The Fight Back” tried to humiliate them at Lockdown, but that victory was the biggest mistake of their lives. He tells everybody - including that oversized idiot Joseph Park - to look in this ring, saying that Impact Wrestling have pissed off the wrong people. Konnan will continue to make threats towards those who have stood against LAX, until he is cut off by the sound of Alberto El Patron’s theme.

NVQ5Jhw.png

In stark contrast to Konnan and the members of LAX in the ring, a suited Alberto El Patron will be all smiles, as he walks down the ramp . It will be clear that Konnan isn’t happy to be interrupted. Taking a microphone, Alberto will put his hand on the shoulder of Konnan. Looking to calm him down, Alberto El Patron will tell Konnan that Lockdown was a success. He will then raise his Championship in the air, trying to reassure Konnan by telling the whole group “don’t worry… I still got this!” This attempt to raise morale won’t have the desired effect, but El Patron will continue to try and lift the spirits of LAX. He will also put over his dominance of Eddie Edwards in the process. Despite Alberto’s misjudgement of the mood of LAX, Konnan will bite his tongue. However, as Alberto El Patron goes to carry on, another member of LAX will have had enough.

Stepping up and taking the microphone out of the silent Konnan’s hand, Low-Ki will tell Alberto El Patron “we don’t give wanna hear about your title!” He will then tell Alberto that last Saturday, they were beaten by a bunch of asskissing stooges. Low-Ki will take another step forward, looking Alberto in the eyes and asking “do you really think we give a damn about you beating Eddie Edwards?” This antagonistic response will lead to Alberto El Patron squaring up to Low-Ki, and the two supposed allies will have to be kept apart by the leader of LAX. As Konnan begins to talk to both men, ensuring that they don’t come to blows, the music of Joseph Park will begin to play. When he appears on the ramp, the commentators will remind the viewers that at Lockdown, Joseph Park was named as the “New Law of Impact”.

IS43FWs.png

Speaking without the bumbling manner that he is know for, Joseph Park will play his role much “straighter” than he has previously. Talking in a serious tone, he will demand that LAX and Alberto “stop right now!” Park will then tell LAX that they have tried to run this place for too long, but they don’t get to play by their own rules anymore. Joseph Park will inform LAX and Alberto that things are going to change in Impact Wrestling, and they won’t get everything their own way going forward. This will mean that it is up to them to rise to the challenge of a level playing field, or go somewhere that they can get away with their usual bully tactics. Konnan will look to give it back to Park, but “The Law of Impact” will tell him that the decisions have already been made, and the changes start tonight. Telling Konnan that LAX don’t get to make their own matches anymore, where they set the rules, or stack the odds in their own favour, Park will inform the group that being “outsiders” doesn’t make you “outside of the law”. His job is to ensure that the calls that management make are enforced equally upon everybody who steps inside the ring. Speaking of management, Joseph Park will be delighted to announce the Main Event of tonight’s Impact Wrestling, where Homicide and Low-Ki will be in Tag Team action… against the team of Eddie Edwards and Moose. Joseph Park will then return to the back, as LAX react to the announcement in the the ring. As Konnan resumes his diplomatic duties in the dispute between Alberto El Patron and Low-Ki, the commentators will take great delight in the fact that there is now somebody who Konnan and LAX have to answer to. Borash will call this a “great start” to his new role for Joseph Park - especially as cracks begin to form in the previously solid unit of LAX.

Using talk about the announcement made by “The Law of Impact” for the Main Event as a segue, the commentators will switch focus to another of Joseph Park’s announcements. At Lockdown, Joseph Park announced the return of the “World X Cup”, and Josh Matthews will run through the details of the four team tournament. He will then excitedly confirm that the tournament will start tonight, with some surprising names making up the teams.

Kl14KRy.png

Speaking as the graphic appears on screen, Jeremy Borash will talk about the unique nature of the tournament. Following the rules of “soccer”, from where the tournament takes it name, victories will gain three points, while defeats will gain zero. In the event of a draw, teams will score one point each. He will also inform viewers that all of the teams will appear in some form tonight, beginning with a segment designed as a way of “Introducing Team Canada”. Showing clips of the performers in Impact Wrestling (and Global Wrestling Network partners), the team will be revealed via their signature moves. Adding to the already confirmed Mike Bailey and Stu Grayson, Team Canada will be completed by Tyson Dux and Petey Williams. (2 minutes)

Kaito Kiyomiya & KAZMA vs. King Fenix & Penta El Zero M

While this match will be the first of the “World X Cup”, the commentators will use the time to talk about the debut of King Fenix and Penta El Zero M (alongside Daga) at Lockdown. Following Garza Jr.’s X Division Championship match defeat to Matt Sydal, the three men joined him in the ring to attack the X Division Champion. Earlier this week, the four men were named as the members of “Team Mexico”. While their intentions will be speculated on, as will Matt Sydal’s response, the focus will eventually turn to the in-ring competition. During the match, the commentators will also tease a “Japanese and North American wrestling icon” as one of the other members of “Team Japan”, promoting an appearance from him next week.

As the contest continues, both teams will manage to display their offence, but it will soon become apparent that the “Team Mexico” representatives are competing at a higher level. Eventually, they will take complete control of the match, scoring an impressive debut victory. Covering KAZMA, the win will come after a Pentagon Driver, which is followed by a 450 Splash from Fenix.

Following the victory, the commentators will discuss the successful start for Team Mexico. As Fenix & Penta have their hands raised, they will be joined by Garza Jr. and Daga. Garza Jr. will have a microphone in his hand, as Daga holds out a flag with the words “La Rebelion” on.

as56cAq.png1JTFBuA.pngQu1XldD.pngi0EcSNJ.png

Standing together in the ring, La Rebelion will spread their flag across the ring, as the commentators talk about the debut of the group at Lockdown. Having agreed to leave Impact Wrestling if he lost his X Division Championship match at the Pay-Per-View, Garza Jr. was defeated by Matt Sydal. However, when the match was over, three men entered the cage, joining Garza Jr. in a post-match attack of the X Division Champion. Once this is explained, Garza Jr. will address the audience.

Talking about the events of Lockdown, Garza Jr. will say that “the old Garza Jr. has left the building...” He will say that he no longer stands in this ring as the individual he once was, now he stands together with his brothers. Garza Jr. will say that when Matt Sydal pinned him at Lockdown, he realised that it was “time for Plan B”. He will then introduce, Daga, King Fenix and Penta El Zero M, leading the group in putting their fists together. Garza Jr. will then declare “we are La Rebelion… and the X Division is ours!”

Heading back to ringside, the commentators will talk about the formation of La Rebelion, promoting the impact that they have had in such a short space of time. They will then switch focus to the Main Event of the evening, sending over to the back, where Eddie Edwards and Moose will be set to discuss the match.

Location: Locker Room

Duration: 2 minutes

In the Locker Room, Eddie Edwards and Moose will be seen preparing for their match. As they do this, they will be asked about the Tag Team Main Event later on, where they will face LAX’s Homicide and Low-Ki.

TDHtXdx.pngxyC1mgx.png

Speaking first, Eddie Edwards will put over the efforts of “The Fight Back”, saying that “this guy” (pointing to Moose) got the job done at Lockdown. Edwards will say that he might not have completed his mission on Saturday, but that just makes him even more determined to take LAX down tonight. He will add that he is banged up, and he is hurting because of what happened to the Impact Grand Championship, but he will not stop fighting. Eddie will then send a warning to Alberto El Patron, telling him that things are far from over between them.

From here, Moose will take over, saying that everybody saw what Eddie Edwards is capable of in the Main Event of Lockdown, and there is nobody he would rather stand shoulder to shoulder with in the ring tonight. He will inform the viewers that he and Edwards have travelled all over the world together, and they don’t fear the threat of LAX. Moose will talk about the victory of “The Fight Back” against LAX, saying that the momentum is on their side, and time is almost up for Konnan and LAX.

Returning from the commercial break, stills will be shown from Rey Mysterio’s Impact Wrestling debut. Scoring the decisive fall, and proving vital to his team, the success of Rey Mysterio’s debut will be discussed by the commentators. They will talk up Rey Mysterio as one of the biggest stars in the history of Pro Wrestling, speaking delightedly of what they hope is a long-term association with the company. (1 minutes)

Location: In The Back

Duration: 2 minutes

Footage will be shown from “earlier today”, and a meeting between the World Tag Team Champions and Ethan Carter.

bz46915.pngR6JdxKW.png483pBsc.png

Speaking to the Impact Wrestling cameras, Ethan Carter will point to Natural Selection, saying that it looks like their job here is done. He will put over the Impact World Tag Team Championships, before turning to them and shaking their hands. Eli Drake will thank Ethan Carter for what he has done for them, but Carter will say “the pleasure was all mine”. Ethan Carter will then walk away, with Eli Drake making a final statement to camera. He will say that “Team Impact” may be going their separate ways, but their spirit will live on forever.

Braxton Sutter vs. Tyson Dux

Joined at ringside by their teammates, Braxton Sutter will have JT Dunn, Kid Kash and Zema Ion with him. On the other side of the ring, Mike Bailey, Petey Williams and Stu Grayson will be stood. As the match begins, the commentators will note the surprise in seeing Mike Bailey and Tyson Dux on the same team, after Bailey was taken out of action for two months after a brutal assault from Dux. Despite this, the team will stand united on the outside, with Mike Bailey clearly less supportive of his partner than others. In the ring, the determined Braxton Sutter will look to weather the offence of the gritty Tyson Dux. With much of the match being dominated by Tyson Dux, he will have comments for Sutter’s Team USA partners at ringside. At one point, he will even speak down to his own partner Mike Bailey, telling him to “watch and learn”. This phrase will come back to bite Tyson Dux however, when he is rolled up by Braxton Sutter, seemingly out of nowhere.

On the other side of the ring, Mike Bailey will stand with his hands on his hips, showing no sympathy to Dux. Petey Williams will see this, and will be joined by Stu Grayson in attempting to bring the two together to create peace. This suggestion will anger Mike Bailey, who will make it clear that he has no intention of reconciling with the man who caused him to miss two months at the start of his Impact Wrestling career. Stu Grayson will accept this, but Petey Williams will look to press Bailey. Williams will tell Bailey and Tyson Dux to shake hands, pointing to the home crowd to try and convince them. Dux will extend his hands, but when Mike Bailey refuses, he will lose his cool. Pushing Mike Bailey, Tyson Dux will be pushed back. Clearly a very heated and personal rivalry, the two men will have to be held back by Petey Williams and Stu Grayson. Eventually, both men will remove the pissed off Mike Bailey from the ring, leading him to the back while telling him to calm down.

Coming back from the break, the Impact World Team Champions will make their way to the ring. As they do, the commentators will talk about their run in with “The Law of Impact” Joseph Park. This Saturday at Lockdown, they defeated Team Canada’s Mike Bailey and Stu Grayson.

R6JdxKW.png483pBsc.png

Standing in the ring, Eli Drake will talk about what happened at Lockdown, saying that because there’s a new law in Impact Wrestling, he’s supposed to sit down and shut up now. Drake will say that anybody who knows him, knows that isn’t how he rolls. Eli Drake will say that for over a year, he has been the man steering this company in the right direction. From holding the Impact World Championship, to introducing the world to “The Machine” Brian Cage, Eli Drake has done more than anybody for Impact Wrestling this year. He will say that Joseph Park arriving doesn’t mean that Eli Drake now has to answer to somebody, it means that there is somebody who can answer to him. Drake will say that despite this, they have still been ignored all day. He will add that he tried to speak with “The Law of Impact” earlier, but he was told that Mr. Park was busy. As a result, he will say that the World Tag Team Champions stand in the ring, while have no idea who their opponents are tonight. Drake will say that he doesn't know what game Park is playing, but it stops tonight. On that note, he will call out their opponents for the night.

Natural Selection vs. Veterans of War

Presenting a physical threat to Natural Selection, in a way many of their opponents have been unable to do, Mayweather and Wilcox will take the fight to the Impact World Tag Team Champions at the beginning of the match. When Brian Cage enters the ring, he will exchange powerful offence with both members of the opposition, eventually taking charge of the match. While V.O.W will give a good account of themselves, and will come close on a number of occasions, a knee to Mayweather’s back will be enough to knock them of course. Losing their heads in the process, V.O.W will be defeated when Brian Cage hits Mayweather with a Running Powerslam.

Location: In-Ring

Duration: 7 minutes

Returning from the break, Natural Selection will still be in the ring. Having just been victorious, the commentators will say that the two men have spent the last few minutes arguing with the audience.

R6JdxKW.png483pBsc.png

With a microphone in his hand, Eli Drake will look down the camera lens, saying “yeah, we’re still here… and we’ve got something to say!” The first target of his ire will be Joseph Park, who Eli Drake will suggest has an agenda. He will ask the audience if they remember Joseph Park’s behaviour just a few months ago, questioning why anybody would trust him. But that won’t be the most annoying thing that Eli Drake has heard this week, and he will talk about people claiming that “they are Impact.” Eli Drake will say that not only is that already being done, but the people who are saying it “have been here for about five minutes… between them!” He will then say that he doesn’t need to name names, and everybody knows exactly who the ringleader is. If they don’t, he has a clue. But no matter what names people want to give themselves, they are not “Mr. Impact”, they can’t be. He will then point to the two men in the ring, saying “because… we are Impact!” Having clearly been trying to draw a specific person out, Natural Selection will be successful, as Johnny Impact comes out to the top of the ramp. Johnny will then be handed a microphone.

kYrIefh.png

Responding to Eli, Johnny Impact will say that he knows exactly what is going on. They want him to go to the ring, and then they can outnumber and attack him. Impact will say that he isn’t that stupid, so he’s going to stay on the ramp for now. Slowly moving forwards, Impact will add that he doesn’t think Eli Drake understands what he means when Johnny says “We are Impact”. Johnny will go on to explain that the phrase isn’t about him claiming that he is a bigger part of the company than anybody, or that he is responsible for anybody else’s success. When he says “We are Impact”, he means that the boys in the back, the fans in the audience and everybody watching at home are working towards one goal, and together they have the power to make Impact Wrestling the best it can be. Johnny Impact will continue to walk, and once he reaches the bottom of the ramp, he will tell Natural Selection that the difference between them taking the “Team Impact” name, and him calling himself “Impact” is that they don’t give a damn about this place, where as he has worked every day since he has been here to make it better. Eli Drake will then look to goad Johnny Impact, claiming that he’s “just another so called saviour, bringing slogans and catchphrase… and nothing else!” Looking to fire Johnny up, the interaction will merely be a set up, as Ethan Carter makes his way down the ramp.

bz46915.png

Walking slowly, Johnny Impact will not become aware of Ethan Carter, until the former 2-time Impact World Champion’s arm is around his head. Caught completely off guard, Johnny Impact will have his head driven into the ground, as Ethan Carter hits him with a One Percenter. Jeremy Borash will be confused, stating that “Team Impact” were supposed to have gone their own ways earlier tonight. With a nod between the two sides, Josh Matthews will suggest that this was a “parting gesture” from Natural Selection, who’s distraction allowed Ethan Carter to take Johnny Impact out. As the three men leave the area, Johnny Impact will be helped back to his feet, having had his head slammed into the floor.

Duration: 2 minutes

Going into the private location of LAX, Low-Ki will be seen stood up at the table, pacing back and forth. As he does this, the rest of LAX will be sat still.

DxdO1Fh.pngFfulCsK.pngzbxYOib.pngZkqPPcb.png1UMBg30.pngMBBzVT1.pngFlrPi4u.png

With Low-Ki looking agitated, Konnan will ask him what is wrong with him. Low-Ki will stop in his tracks, turning to Konnan and telling him “I’ve been thinking…” He will then talk about the association of LAX with Alberto El Patron. Konnan will tell Low-Ki to go on, and Ki will ask “what’s in it for us?” Konnan will ask him what he’s talking about, and Low-Ki will explain that he’s back and ask why they still need to serve Alberto. He will ask Konnan what Alberto has done for them lately. All eyes of LAX will turn to Konnan, who will clearly feel the pressure of the question. After Konnan hesitates, Homicide will get up from the seat and put his arm around Low-Ki. He will say to Ki that they don’t need to worry about that right now, they’ve got to focus on the Main Event. Homicide will then lead Low-Ki out of the room, as Konnan shifts uncomfortably in his chair.

Andrew Everett & Trevor Lee (of The B.T.C) vs. oVe

Looking to put on a fast-paced, back and forth match, the two teams will be sent out to compete in a fairly even match. The commentators will talk about the momentum of The B.T.C, and the struggles that oVe have faced recently. They will also comment of the team’s slight change in approach in the last few weeks, and how it has seen an upturn in their fortune. This aggressive style will be on display once more, and will serve them well as they pick up the victory. Isolating Andrew Everett, oVe will be hit him with “The All Seeing Eye”.

Winners:
oVe

Duration:

</div>

Following the match, oVe will aggressively celebrate, with the commentator saying that it is clear how much getting back to winning ways means to them. When the two begin to leave up the ramp, focus will switch to someone else desperate to get back to winning ways, the woman who was controversially defeated by Ivelisse Velez at Lockdown, Allie. This will lead to an interview conducted with her earlier in the day.

Location: Locker Room

Duration: 2 minutes

Allie will be seen sat on a bench. Her head will be down, and it will be clear that she is still feeling upset about the events of Lockdown.

GZlfmYj.png

Speaking in a disheartened manner, Allie will say that at Lockdown, when the Steel Cage door was slammed into her face, she knew her dream was over. She will say that as much as the steel slamming into her face hurt, it is nothing compared to how she has felt for the last few days. Allie will point out how hard she had to work to just earn that shot, speaking pessimistically about her chances of getting another opportunity. As she says this, she will be approached by Sienna.

1ejUfjv.png

Initially, Sienna will pretend to have sympathy for her, but will soon make it clear that she is making fun of Allie. She will say that Allie has had an awful week, but add that it is going to get much worse during their match against each other tonight. The smug Sienna will then walk away, having added salt to the wounds of the upset Allie.

Coming back from the break, the commentators will talk about the “World X Cup”, and the impressive debut of Team Mexico. This will lead to talk of their debut at Lockdown, and that despite their successful start, their methods have not gone unnoticed. The commentators will then explain the fact that Garza Jr. had agreed to leave Impact Wrestling if he lost to Matt Sydal at Lockdown. However, when he was defeated, he was joined in the ring by his friends (known collectively as “La Rebelion”), who climbed the cage to attack Matt Sydal. They will then introduce the reaction of Matt Sydal, who was interviewed immediately after Lockdown was over.

Location: In The Back (From Lockdown)

Duration: 2 minutes

Caught while leaving the building, a pained and grimacing Matt Sydal will be asked for his reaction. As he stops, he will feel a pain in his back, clearly struggling after the attack from “La Rebelion”.

2yxjlqb.png

Matt Sydal will say that he doesn’t usually like to get involved in all the drama, but he feels he’s been left with no choice. Sydal will explain that despite his issues with Garza Jr., he always respected him, and he always thought that he was a man of his word. He will say that on Saturday, that trust was proved to be misplaced. Despite still being X Division Champion, Sydal will say that he isn’t in the mood for celebrating. Whatever happens, Matt Sydal will be certain of one thing, promising that his issues with Garza Jr. - and his buddies who debuted “tonight” - are far from over.

<div style=" border: 4px solid blue";">

GZlfmYj.png1vq09KX.png1ejUfjv.png

Allie vs. Sienna

Despite the lack of spring in her step, the downbeat Allie will do her best to embrace as many fans as she can before the match. Once in the ring, she will be met by a motivated Sienna - who has picked up several dominant pins recently. Allie will quickly be under pressure in the match, and Sienna will take advantage of her uncertainty. While Allie attempts a number of comebacks, she will ultimately unable to overcome the assertive Sienna. Hitting Allie with a “Cut-Throat” Suplex, Sienna will pick up a win over the vulnerable Allie.

Location: In-Ring

Duration: 1 minute

Sitting in the ring, following her defeat, Allie will cover her face, clearly feeling the emotional effects of the defeat. The commentators will call her past 7 days a “week from hell”.

GZlfmYj.png

Jeremy Borash will then go further into detail about her defeats, pointing out the trials and tribulations of getting the Knockouts title match, including serious personal trauma involving her boyfriend Braxton Sutter. Josh Matthews will also say that she is feeling the effects of failing her hero and inspiration Gail Kim, who she had vowed revenge on LAX to.

Location: Joseph Park’s Office

Duration: 2 minutes

Heading into the break, the commentators will talk about the Main Event, over images of Joseph Park looking through a black notebook. As he leafs through the pages, he will be approached by James Storm.

IS43FWs.pngNlYtxao.png

This will stop the commentators from speaking, as the viewer gets to listen in on the conversation. As Storm walks up to Park, “The Law of Impact” will smile. Cutting through the greeting, James Storm will show a serious demeanor. James Storm will tell Joseph Park that he has been fighting threats to Impact Wrestling for the past six months, and at Lockdown he got some closure. Storm will add that he’s been fighting these personal battles for so long, that he hasn’t had chance to take stock of his position in Impact Wrestling. He will tell Park “I need direction”.

Joseph Park will scratch his head, once again looking through the notes he has made on the show. Crossing a couple of things out, Joseph Park will point to a spot on the book. He will then draw around whatever is written there. While the text won’t be visible, it will please James Storm, for whom a smile will spread across his face. James Storm will then nod his head, extending his hand to Joseph Park. The two men will then shake hands, going into the commercial break.

Coming back from the break, the commentators will talk over a video package. The package will show highlights from the evening, catching viewers up on what has happened, going into the later stages of the night. They will talk through clips of various events during the show, such as those from the “World X Cup” matches, as well as the issue between Alberto El Patron and Low-Ki that appears to be creating issues within LAX. After a clip of Park’s announcement of the Main Event earlier, the commentators will introduce the next segment, where Joseph Park will promote next week’s show. (2 minutes)

Location: Joseph Park’s Office

Duration: 2 minutes

Returning to the Office of “The New Law of Impact”, Joseph Park will be seen sat on the desk. With his notebook in hand, Joseph Park will address the viewers.

IS43FWs.png

Joseph Park will speak with pride about the first episode of Impact Wrestling since he was named as “The Law of Impact”, praising the competitors in the 5 matches thus far. He will say that while not everybody will agree with his decisions, he has one simple goal in Impact Wrestling. That goal is to take what he feels is the best course of action, on a case by case basis. He will also say that he has learned that momentum is extremely important in this business, and given what promises to be a huge Main Event, he knows that they need something just as special to match it next week. He will say that he thinks he has just the match, but before then he will run down the rest of the show. Promoting the “incredible action” from this week’s World X Cup openers, he will say that he knows the “X Division Athletes” will be looking to match that next week, and they will be given the chance to do so. The “World X Cup” action next week will feature two more matches, one of which will be a multi-man match, featuring a competitors from each of the 4 represented national teams. He will also announce that Brian Cage will go one on one with Wilcox - at The V.O.W member’s request - following the events that took place earlier tonight.

All that will bring him to the announcement of the Main Event, where he will be delighted to inform the viewers that the Impact World Champion will be in action - just 11 days after his Lockdown victory. His opponent in that match will be “The Icon of Impact… The Original Outlaw… The Cowboy… James Storm!” Joseph Park will put over the former World Champion, saying that a victory next week would put Storm on the right track to earning an Impact World Championship match in the near future. Joseph will then say that, as everyone can see, there are a whole load of issues to be solved before next week’s show, and he needs to get back to working on those solutions. While he does that, he encourages viewers to sit back and relax, because once the Main Event begins, they’re going to be on the edge of their seats.

Eddie Edwards & Moose vs. Homicide & Low-Ki

As the match gets underway, it will be noted that Konnan is not at ringside for the start of the match, with Borash and Matthews pushing rumours of issues between the leader of LAX, and the recently returned Low-Ki. They will further explain the reason for this - referencing the incident earlier in the night where Low-Ki confronted Alberto El Patron in the ring. However, the uncertainty will have no effect on the cohesiveness of LAX’s Homicide and Low-Ki, with the two best friends working well together in a competitive match. Equally, the friendship of Eddie Edwards and Moose - who it will be noted have travelled the world together - will translate into a solid team, and both pairings will enjoy an even share of offence. Sent out to “steal the show”, the four competitors will leave everything in the ring, as they look to kick off Joseph Park’s run as “The Law of Impact” with an impressive Main Event.

The match will feature stiff, hard hitting offence throughout, and the commentators will call the competitors “four of the toughest guys in the business”. Low-Ki will particularly be put over, with a series of flurries from him resulting in close calls. Eventually, the best spell of the match for LAX will be turned on its head, as Low-Ki goes to the top rope to hit a Double Footstomp. Eddie Edwards will meet him on the top rope, hitting him with a Top Rope Superplex. Both men will crawl towards their corners, and when Moose goes up against Homicide, he will come out the better of the two. With Moose in firm control, Eddie Edwards will dive to the outside, hitting Low-Ki with a Suicide Dive. This will leave Moose in the ring with Homicide, where a Go To Hell will be enough to secure the victory.

Having taken one for the team, Eddie Edwards will stumble back to his feet on the outside. As he does this, he will be taken out by Ortiz & Santana, who are quick to involve themselves in the aftermath of the match.

TDHtXdx.pngMBBzVT1.pngFlrPi4u.pngZkqPPcb.png

The two trusted members of LAX will be eventually joined by Konnan, who will direct traffic as they throw Edwards into the Steel Steps. Konnan will then pick up the hurt Edwards, whipping him into Guardrail as Ortiz & Santana enter the ring. They will do this in order to stop Moose from coming to them.

xyC1mgx.png

Moose will be prepared for the former Tag Team Champions, but his attempt to resist LAX will fall flat when Homicide grabs him from behind.

1UMBg30.png

The attack will then become a three-on-one beatdown, and Konnan will issue specific instruction to the three members of LAX. With Moose down, Ortiz and Santana will get the Steel Steps and take them into the ring, setting Moose’s head against the bottom set. They will then take the top set of steps, slamming them together, with Moose’s head in between. Moose will slump to the canvas, and be rolled out of the ring by LAX. Dropping to the ground, Moose’s body will be motionless, and the commentators will speak disgustedly regarding the actions of the Konnan led group.

On the outside, Konnan will lift Eddie Edwards to his feet, and Ortiz and Santana will return him to the ring. At this point, Low-Ki will make it back to his feet.

zbxYOib.png

Low-Ki will remain on the outside, observing, as the three active members of LAX begin to attack Eddie Edwards. With the three on one attack going on in the ring, Konnan will say “set him up”. The three men will then ‘present’ Eddie Edwards, as the music of Alberto El Patron begins to play.

NVQ5Jhw.png

When Alberto El Patron appears on the ramp, he will be holding the Impact World Championship over his shoulder. He will also have dragged the Impact Grand Championship behind him.

Cutting back to ringside, Low-Ki will look across the ring to Konnan, who will also be on the outside. Shaking his head at the leader of LAX, Ki will immediately walk away, leaving through the crowd.

This incident will be highlighted by the commentators, but will go unnoticed by Alberto El Patron, who will carry on in his tracks. With a smug smirk on his face, he will be all too happy to take over from the groundwork that LAX have put in. Gesturing to Konnan with a thumbs up, that will be LAX’s cue to leave. Now left in the ring with a barely conscious Eddie Edwards, Alberto will begin to goad the man he defeated at Lockdown. Alberto will then grab Eddie Edwards by the hair, pushing the centerplate of the Grand Championship - which he dragged behind him all the way down the ramp - into the former titleholder's face. Jeremy Borash will say that Alberto is merely “picking the bones”, as he considers his next move in the ring. Throwing down the Impact Grand Championship, it will appear as though Alberto El Patron has an idea.

Lifting Eddie Edwards off the canvas, Alberto El Patron will grab his rival by the hair once more. The commentators will call Edwards “defenceless”, pointing out that he is completely at the mercy of the Impact World Champion. However, before he can execute whatever he had in mind, the music of Rey Mysterio will begin to play. Anticipating the arrival of the man that “led ‘The Fight Back’ to victory at Lockdown”, Alberto will pick Eddie Edwards up, throwing him out of the ring through the top and middle ropes. Alberto will then pick the Impact Grand Championship up off the canvas, holding it as he gestures for Rey to ‘bring it on’. Eventually, Rey Mysterio will appear, running down the ramp towards the ring.

2m3RYnU.png

When he reaches the ring, Alberto El Patron will be ready for him, and will swing the Impact Grand Championship towards Mysterio. Rey will duck the attack, bouncing off the ropes and hitting Alberto El Patron with a trademark Headscissors. This will lead Alberto El Patron into dangerous territory, as he falls neck first onto the second rope. The commentators will know exactly what is coming, as Rey Mysterio runs to the ropes to build momentum.

However, just a split-second before Rey hits the “619”, Alberto El Patron will move out of the way. Mysterio will follow through with the move, but will instead end up back in the ring, as Alberto El Patron scurries to the outside, backing up the ramp after what Josh claims was a “lucky escape”. Standing tall in the ring, Rey Mysterio will keep his eyes on Alberto El Patron, before asking for a microphone from ringside.

Rey Mysterio will tell Alberto El Patron to keep running, but add that there is only so far you can run. Rey will then say that he is here in Impact Wrestling, and he's here to become a Champion once again. Showing Alberto El Patron on the ramp, he will grip his Championship tightly, as Rey speaks. Mysterio will then say that he has a lot of history with Alberto El Patron, and they have battled all over the world. Mysterio will say that his latest battle has brought him to Impact Wrestling, and after his debut at Lockdown he felt better than ever. With that said, that feeling was topped tonight, when he arrived at the building and was greeted by company management with some huge news. News that concerns Impact Wrestling's next Pay-Per-View event. Rey Mysterio will say that in 8 weeks time, Impact Wrestling will present Slammiversary. He will say that Slammiversary is one of the biggest shows in the Impact Wrestling calendar, and this year it will be even bigger. Rey will explain that this is because, “this year, Slammiversary comes live… from my hometown... San Diego, California!”

Having dropped the announcement, Rey Mysterio will stand tall in the ring, as Alberto El Patron looks on from the ramp, concerned as he holds onto the Impact World Championship. The commentators will put over the huge announcement, saying that this year's Slammiversary is in Rey Mysterio’s hometown, and the Impact Wrestling newcomer will no doubt want to make a huge splash in his second Pay-Per-View appearance with the company. Going off the air, Josh Matthews will suggest that Rey may even have his eyes on Alberto El Patron, and the Impact World Championship at that event.

"Natural Order"

2hH2T7x.png

Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada - Announcers: Jeremy Borash & Josh Matthews

Impact Wrestling will open with a video package, looking back on the events of last week’s episode. At the beginning of the night, LAX took to the ring, looking to make an immediate impact following their defeat to “The Fight Back” at Lockdown. Instead, they were joined by Impact World Champion, Alberto El Patron, who told his associates that what really mattered was the fact that he was victorious at Lockdown. This didn’t sit well with the recently returned Low-Ki, who told El Patron that “we don’t give a damn about your title!” Leading to a confrontation that had to be mediated by Konnan, the cracks in the association began to show. Taking attention away from this, “The Law of Impact” Joseph Park announced the night’s Main Event, where Homicide and Low-Ki would team up to face two of Konnan’s groups’ biggest rivals. Eddie Edwards and Moose defeated the LAX duo, but were attacked by the rest of the group after the match. The assault was set up to allow Alberto El Patron to further humiliate Eddie Edwards, but resulted in Low-Ki walking out on his LAX brothers.

The attack would go ahead, with LAX leaving Alberto to “pick the bones” of the former Impact Grand Champion - a title now in his custody, and which he continues to disrespect. However, before El Patron could go any further, he was taken off track by the arrival of Rey Mysterio. The man who had led “The Fight Back” to victory at Lockdown physically confronted Alberto, coming close to hitting his first 619 in Impact Wrestling, before El Patron escaped. Taking a microphone, Rey Mysterio made a huge announcement, informing the Impact World Champion - and everybody else watching - that this year’s Slammiversary Pay-Per-View event would take place in his hometown of San Diego, California. (3 minutes)

Duration: 8 minutes

Coming out of the opening sequence, the commentators will briefly welcome viewers to the show. However, before they can get past informing the viewers that Alberto El Patron will be in action against James Storm tonight, the Impact World Champion will make his entrance. Once again, he will be seen to drag the Impact Grand Championship on the ground behind him. As he walks down to the ring, the commentators will talk about the Slammiversary Pay-Per-View in June, which will take place in San Diego, California.

NVQ5Jhw.png

Throwing the Impact Grand Championship to the ground, Alberto El Patron will say that he doesn’t give a damn about anything tonight, and he isn’t the mood for “you people”. Alberto will say that he is the Impact World Champion, but last week he was disrespected. He will add that Rey Mysterio had no business getting involved with him, but say that he expected no less from that “backstabbing rat”. Alberto El Patron will continue to rant about Rey Mysterio, saying that he is an embarrassment to his people, and that’s why he tried to embarrass the World Champion last week. Alberto will say that nobody disrespects him and gets away with it, calling Rey Mysterio out to face him. When he gets no response, Alberto El Patron will become further irate, and will call Rey a “pathetic coward”. With a final plea, he will say that “last week, you embarrassed me, Perro… come and face me right now!” Instead of getting Rey Mysterio, Alberto El Patron will be met by Joseph Park.

IS43FWs.png

Remaining on the ramp, Park will comment that given how angry Alberto El Patron is tonight, he’s going to stay as far away from him as he possibly can. With that said, Joseph Park will tell Alberto not to shoot the messenger, but inform him that Rey Mysterio will not be appearing tonight. El Patron will dictate that Park gets Mysterio to the building, because the Impact World Champion demands it. Joseph Park will reply that his hands are tied, putting over that Alberto El Patron isn’t the only person after Rey Mysterio. He will go on to explain that Rey Mysterio is one of the most iconic figures in Pro Wrestling history, and he has other commitments - agreements he made before signing with Impact Wrestling. Joseph Park will say that Alberto El Patron is clearly angry, but he won’t be getting his hands on Rey Mysterio tonight. Instead, as announced last week, Alberto El Patron will go one on one with “The Original Outlaw” James Storm, in the Main Event. This will not satisfy the fired up Impact World Champion, but he will have a message for his opponent. El Patron will tell Joseph Park that if he sees James Storm before tonight's match, warn him to call his drinking buddies, because he won’t be making it to the bar tonight, he will be going to the emergency room.

Coming out of the opening segment, the commentators will put over a huge Main Event, on what is set to be an action packed night in Impact Wrestling. This action will be present in the World X Cup, which the commentators will put over as well.

8J4QkrK.png

Talking through the table, the commentators will recap the results from last week, as Team Mexico’s King Fenix & Penta El Zero M were victorious over the Japanese duo of Kaito Kiyomiya and KAZMA. Later in the night, Team USA made a successful start, with Braxton Sutter defeating the dysfunctional Team Canada’s Tyson Dux.

Daga vs. Kid Kash vs. Stu Grayson vs. Taiji Ishimori

Promising to be fast paced and chaotic, this match will be put over on commentary, as it kicks off with a bang. As all four men hit big moves, Borash will hype up the quick opening sequence, saying that “this is what the World X Cup is all about”. Matthews will use the start as evidence of “how much this tournament - and representing their Nations - means to the competitors involved”. It will also be noted that the other members of the teams will not be at ringside for the match, due to the No DQ nature of multi-man matches.

Eventually, just Stu Grayson and Taiji Ishimori will remain in the ring. Exchanging back and forth, their time in the spotlight will be cut short, by Kid Kash and Daga. The two men will then brawl in the ring, with Kid Kash getting the better of the exchange. Going for the win, Kid Kash will be caught from behind by Stu Grayson, who will dropkick him to the outside. Returning to the ring, Ishimori will then do the same to Stu Grayson, before setting himself up for a dive to the outside. Taking out both Kash and Grayson, Ishimori will be grabbed by Daga, who catches the Japanese star off guard. Bringing him back into the ring, Daga’s plan will backfire, as he finds himself taken down by Ishimori. Taiji will then climb to the top rope, hitting the Mexican with a 450 Splash to seal the victory.

Following the match, Taiji Ishimori will stand tall in the ring, celebrating his team’s victory.

As his hand is raised in the air, Daga’s fellow Team Mexico members will make their way to the ring.

1JTFBuA.pngQu1XldD.pngi0EcSNJ.png

Ishimori will assume that they are just out to check on their friend, but it will quickly become clear that they have other intentions. Before he knows it, Taiji Ishimori will be taken down by Garza Jr, King Fenix and Penta El Zero M. Laying their boots into him, “La Rebelion” will aggressively shout at their victim, showing a lack of respect. After a short wait, Kaito Kiyomiya and KAZMA will run down to the ring.

nRlgcDP.png9Llyk2L.png

The two men will look to help their victorious compatriot. However, KAZMA and Kiyomiya will find themselves outnumbered by the members of Team Mexico. This will result in them falling to the same fate as Ishimori, and lead to the arrival of Yoshihiro Tajiri.

QB7HPYG.png

When the name of “Tajiri” appears on the screen, the commentators will put him over as a “legend”. Coming down to the ring, Tajiri will hit a flurry of strikes to Garza Jr., Penta El Zero M and King Fenix. He will manage to rid the ring of Team Mexico, with the help of his resurgent partners. Standing tall, Team Japan will watch as Team Mexico back up the ramp.

With Japan now on the board in the World X Cup, the commentators will once again focus on last week, introducing a more in-depth look at last week's Main Event.

Footage will show the hard-hitting, all out match between Eddie Edwards & Moose and Homicide & Low-Ki. Highly competitive, the match came to an end when Moose hit a “Go To Hell” to LAX’s Homicide. (2 minutes)

Location: In The Back

Duration: 2 minutes

Stood in the Locker Room, Eddie Edwards will be asked about the victory of his team last week.

TDHtXdx.png

Eddie will speak positively about the victory of his team, putting over the contributions from his partner Moose, the character of whom he will say is second to none. Despite the victory, Eddie Edwards will say that he hasn't forgotten about Lockdown, and he isn't going to let Alberto’s actions slide. Eddie will explain that he can take defeat, and he can accept that Alberto was the better man on the night. What Eddie will not accept is Alberto El Patron’s disrespect of the Grand Championship. Eddie will close by saying that no matter what it takes, he will teach the Impact World Champion a lesson in respect.

Returning from the break, the commentators will talk about the recent events surrounding Allie’s chase of the Knockouts Championship. After they discuss her defeat at Lockdown, footage will be shown from last week. Going one on one with Sienna, Allie completed a terrible week by falling to defeat against her opponent. (2 minutes)

Location: In-Ring

Duration: 6 minutes

Out of the video package, Allie will make her way to the ring. She will be joined by Braxton Sutter as she makes her entrance. The commentators will talk about rumours about an announcement from Allie that have been going around this week.

GZlfmYj.pngyYubj15.png

With her head down, Allie will address the audience, talking about the “week from hell” that she had last week. Throughout the promo, Allie will question her future, saying that over the last 6 months she has given everything to become the Impact Knockouts Champion. Allie will say that she has given her all, professionally, emotionally and personally. As she says that, Allie will turn to her boyfriend Braxton Sutter. Off microphone, she will say “I don’t think I can do this anymore”. With a tear in her eye, Allie will make it clear that she doesn’t see her place in Impact Wrestling right now. As she appears to be on the brink of announcing her intention to leave the company, Braxton will take the microphone from her.

Braxton Sutter will tell her to hold on, saying that she doesn’t really mean it. He will then look to get the crowd to show their support for Allie, telling her that she has worked too hard to give up now. Allie will put her head down, refusing to make eye contact with Sutter. Sutter will then ask her just to slow down, take a step back and think about it. Allie will still seem reluctant, so Braxton will compromise. He will then tell Allie to wait just one week, begging her just to think things through. If she still feels the same way next week, Sutter will promise not to stand in her way. Reluctantly, Allie will agree and will be led to the back by her boyfriend. The commentators will speak of the relief that Allie did not go through with her decision. They will say that if last week was the toughest of Allie’s career so far, the upcoming week may be just as important in deciding her future.

Location: LAX “Club House”

Duration: 3 minutes

Heading over to the private location of LAX, the group will be seen discussing business.

As the conversation continues, the group will be joined by the Impact World Champion, who will make a rare appearance in the LAX “Club House”.

Pp3sDMm.png

Alberto El Patron will be in a bad mood, and will talk over everybody in the room, demanding that they listen to him. El Patron will then order Konnan to “do something”, saying that they need to sort something out tonight. He will tell Konnan that he needs to get Rey to show his face again, but first they need to deal with James Storm for tonight’s Main Event. Without waiting for a response, Alberto will then leave the room, with Konnan clearly feeling emasculated. However, he will look to rally the troops, only to be cut off by Low-Ki. Ki will say that he doesn’t get it, asking why Konnan puts up with this. Low-Ki will then look around the room, asking Konnan what “we” get out of this. Konnan will sigh, before getting up from his seat. He will then tell Low-Ki, who will be pacing back and forth, “Ki… it’s just business”.

Returning from the break, the Impact World Tag Team Champions will make their way down to the ring. As ever, Eli Drake will argue with members of the audience during the entrance. As he does this, the commentators will discuss the set up from last week, where Johnny Impact was lured in by Natural Selection, in order for Ethan Carter to jump him.

R6JdxKW.png483pBsc.png

Taking a microphone, Eli Drake will look to get the audience against them, before specifically turning his attention to V.O.W and Brian Cage’s upcoming opponent, Wilcox. Drake will question the level of competition in the division, calling on Joseph Park to “pull his finger out”. Eli Drake will request that when Cage does the business against Wilcox, the “Law of Impact” puts his thinking cap on and finds them a real challenge.

<div style=" border: 4px solid blue";">

Brian Cage vs. Wilcox

Wilcox will start the match well, and it will be suggested that Brian Cage may have found his physical match in Impact Wrestling. The V.O.W member will be consistently put over as a legitimate threat, but eventually the quality of Brian Cage will show through. From there, Brian Cage will take control of the match, and the commentators will be shocked at the ease with which he manhandles his opponent. Becoming a fairly straight forward contest, Brian Cage will defeat Wilcox after a Running Powerslam.

Returning to the ring, Eli Drake will once again have a microphone. After Brian Cage’s hand is raised, and Mayweather helps his partner to the back, Eli Drake will speak.

R6JdxKW.png483pBsc.png

Drake will point to his partner, saying that “this is the pinnacle of evolution”. He will add that the viewers have never, and will never, see better specimens than the two of them, calling them proof that only the strong survive. Eli Drake will say that they are two one in a million athletes, and quite frankly he doesn’t think Joseph Park realises the lightning in the bottle that he has in his hands. He will once more call on Park to do his job, demanding that he scours the globe in the hope of finding any single team who are on their level. Drake will then call the task impossible, saying that there isn’t any team in the world who can go toe to toe with them. As he says this, the music of Naomichi Marufuji and Katsuhiko Nakajima will play.

NajKZIg.pngJeQY8eT.png

The former Impact World Tag Team Champions will make an appearance, their first since losing the titles to Natural Selection last month. Eli Drake will be taken aback, but will eventually ask the former Champions what they are doing here. They will be quick to make it clear that they’re back for their rematch - as they look to become the two time Impact World Tag Team Champions.

<hr>Returning for the second hour of Impact Wrestling, the commentators will discuss the set up from last week, introducing footage from the attack - where Johnny Impact was jumped by Ethan Carter. Having claimed “we are Impact”, Natural Selection deliberately drew Johnny out for the attack, despite claims that they had gone their separate ways with “Team Impact” leader Ethan Carter. The commentators will say that the move has since been described as a “parting gesture”, marking the end of the Tag Team’s alliance with Ethan Carter. (2 minutes)

Location: In-Ring

Duration: 8 minutes

Out of the video package, Johnny Impact will make his way down to the ring. Taking a microphone, he will enter the ring. The commentators will note that Johnny Impact is out to call out Ethan Carter, following last week’s attack.

kYrIefh.png

Addressing the attack, Johnny Impact will briefly talk about the involvement of Natural Selection, before moving his focus towards Ethan Carter. Johnny Impact will say that while he has always known what Carter was like from afar, last week was his first real taste of what everybody knows about Ethan Carter. He will say that Ethan’s holier than thou attitude is totally transparent, and nobody is falling for it. He will then call Ethan out to face him in the ring. Ethan Carter will respond to the request, but remain on the outside of the ring, as he addresses Johnny Impact.

bz46915.png

Ethan Carter will say that he isn’t phony, but Johnny Impact certainly is. He will add that Johnny Impact has been in this company barely a year, yet he comes out to the ring and declares “we are Impact”. Not only that, Ethan will have an issue with the fans, who lap up his pathetic cheerleading. Ethan Carter will then talk about his tenure in Impact Wrestling, saying that he has carried to company on his back for years, and there is no way he is letting Johnny Impact come in and take the credit for anything. Johnny Impact will invite Ethan Carter to step into the ring with him, but Carter will refuse. Ethan Carter will say that last week is the closest that Johnny Impact is going to get to him. He will add that he could get in the ring and verbally slam Johnny Impact, but he won’t. Ethan will explain this by saying “you can give yourself the name, you can shout “This Is Impact… I Am Impact… We Are Impact! But you aren’t Impact… and you certainly aren’t worth my time”.

Ethan Carter will then leave the ring, heading to the back. Remaining in the ring, Johnny Impact will be clearly frustrated by how the interaction went.

Alexia Nicole vs. Rosemary

Coming off the back of her match with Taya at Lockdown, Rosemary will decisively score a dominant victory. While Nicole will show some resilience, and even manage some offence of her own, it will be clear that she is not on the level of her opponent just yet. A “Red Wedding” from Rosemary will secure her victory, as she continues to build on her Lockdown victory.

At the end of the match, Rosemary’s hand will be raised by the referee. She will also be joined in the ring by Crazzy Steve

As the pair enjoy Rosemary’s victory, they will be surprised when Taya’s music begins to play. Rosemary will make it clear that she thought things were over between them, but Taya will have different ideas - making her way to the ring.

siPq0Rp.png

Rosemary will get in Taya’s face when she enters the ring, but Valkyrie will smirk at her. Rosemary will want to know what Taya wants, but she will say nothing. Instead, when Crazzy Steve comes between the two women, looking to calm the situation, he will be kissed by Taya, to the shock of Rosemary. Taya will then leave the ring, exiting up the ramp. Crazzy Steve will be stunned, while Rosemary will become angry at Taya’s action. As the show goes to commercial, it will be unclear what Steve thinks of the kiss.

Returning from the break, the commentators will discuss the kiss - speaking in shock about the actions of Taya Valkyrie. They will say that it appears that her issues with Rosemary are far from over, and she intends to take the “mind games” to the next level.

Location: Joseph Park’s Office

Duration: 3 minutes

Heading over to the office of Joseph Park, “The Law of Impact” will be sat on his desk. Flicking through his notebook, with a pen in his hand, Joseph Park will look up to address the Impact Wrestling viewers.

IS43FWs.png

Joseph Park will promote the Main Event between Alberto El Patron and James Storm, contrasting their attitudes towards Impact Wrestling and the fans. With tonight’s show locked in place, he will talk about next week’s show - promoting the fact that the World X Cup will continue (also mentioning there is another World X Cup match coming up next, between two veterans). He will then promote next week’s show further, announcing the return to in-ring action of Naomichi Marufuji and Katsuhiko Nakajima, as well as a Main Event featuring Johnny Impact and Eli Drake. As Joseph Park tries to continue to promote next week, Moose will enter the office.

xyC1mgx.png

Moose will get straight to the point, ignoring Park as he tells him that he’s recording something. Moose will say that he doesn’t care what is scheduled for next week, or what Park has written in his notebook, he’s calling out Alberto El Patron. Joseph Park will say that while neither of them will be in action next week, he isn’t willing to make the match. Moose will be annoyed, but Joseph Park will give him a compromise. Instead of making the match, he is going to give Moose the right to open the show - allowing him to air whatever issues he wants to air, with whoever he wants to air them. He will add that maybe Moose and Alberto can solve their differences between themselves, but tell Moose that he only gets that opportunity if he stays away from tonight’s Main Event.

Moose will be pleased with this, nodding along and telling Joseph Park that all he wants is his fate in his own hands. He will then leave the office, with a smile on his face. Joseph Park will then turn to the camera, telling viewers “I don’t think you’re going to want to miss this!”

Petey Williams vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri

Sent out to put on a slower paced match than would be expected in the “World X Cup”, the two men will be put over as the two wily veterans of the competition. Jeremy Borash will say that these two men could be the key to their teams successes, but point out that Team Canada are going to have to get over their personal issues if they are to stand a chance. Both competitors will appear evenly matched throughout the contest, however a disagreement between Mike Bailey and Tyson Dux on the outside will throw Petey Williams off track. Trying to deal with them will result in his eye being taken off the ball, and when he takes control, Tajiri will be able to finish the match off with a Buzzsaw Kick to the head of “The Canadian Destroyer”.

Following the match, the two competitors will make it back to their feet. After Tajiri celebrates, Petey Williams will approach him.

UqHQnYR.pngQB7HPYG.png

Petey Williams will offer a handshake to Tajiri, showing the veteran a level of respect that he reserves for few competitors. Tajiri will accept the handshake, and go to leave. However, Petey Williams will tell him to hold on, going to the outside and producing a t-shirt which has the logo of “The Gatekeepers” on. Looking at the t-shirt, Tajiri will consider the offer, at which point Sonjay Dutt will join the pair in the ring.

GfQ0Q4P.png

When Sonjay Dutt reaches the ring, he will try to put the t-shirt on Tajiri, but will be stopped by Mike Bailey, who also enters the ring. Bailey will be followed into the ring by Stu Grayson and Tyson Dux, who will be concerned that Petey Williams isn’t focussed solely on the “World X Cup”.

zxPKU0f.png5an74RW.png36Ux1tO.png

Mike Bailey will confront Sonjay Dutt, telling him to stay out of the team’s business. Petey Williams won’t like this, but Bailey will point at Tyson Dux and say “he is bad enough… I can’t take Sonjay too”. At this point, Tajiri will leave the ring, allowing the drama to continue. Bailey’s finger pointing will annoy Tyson Dux, who will push Mike Bailey. Once again, this will result in the two men going after each other, with the commentators putting over Bailey’s quest for revenge - after Dux took him out for over two months. Once again the men will be pulled apart, and the issues in Team Canada will once again be there for all to see.

Returning from the break, after discussion of the cracks in Team Canada, the commentators will turn focus back to earlier in the night, and Alberto El Patron’s call out of Rey Mysterio. While the angered and humiliated Impact World Champion didn’t get what he wanted, he was given an outlet for his anger, a match with “The Original Outlaw” James Storm. (2 minutes)

Location: In The Back

Duration: 2 minutes

Just moments ahead of his match with Alberto El Patron, as he stands by the curtain ready to make his entrance, a uncharacteristically nervous James Storm will be asked about the upcoming match.

NlYtxao.png

James Storm will say that tonight is about an opportunity. He will say that it feels funny saying that, given his status in Impact Wrestling, and the accomplished career he has had, but it’s true. Storm will say that in all his time in Impact, he has had direction, a goal to work towards. Tonight offers him a chance to find direction once more. He will state that his one final goal in Impact Wrestling is to once again become the World Champion. This match with Alberto El Patron may be his best chance of proving that he is still - after 16 years in the company - a Main Event calibre competitor. Having said that, James Storm’s music will begin to play, and he will make his way out to the ring...

<div style=" border: 4px solid blue";">

NVQ5Jhw.png1vq09KX.pngNlYtxao.png

Alberto El Patron vs. James Storm

Going into the match, the confident Impact World Champion will appear to be toying with James Storm, implying that the challenge of the decorated “Original Outlaw” is beneath him. This will anger James Storm, but the ability and evasive tactics of Alberto El Patron will prevent him from doing anything about it. As a result, the story of the beginning of the match will put over the idea that Alberto El Patron is simply a level above James Storm. The commentators will use this to suggest that Alberto may just be a level above anybody in Impact Wrestling today.

Eventually, the determined James Storm will manage to fight his way back into the match, not through any particular tactics, but by swinging and swinging until he begins to make headway. While this method allows him to make the contest much more competitive than it had been to that point, it will prove unsustainable. Adapting his approach, Alberto El Patron will begin to pick his spots more and more efficiently, focussing particularly on the arm of his opponent. Commentary will put over that when in this zone, Alberto El Patron is unstoppable, and this will prove correct as the match goes on. While James Storm will once again look to make a comeback in the match, a failed Last Call Superkick will leave him in a vulnerable position. El Patron will take advantage of this, locking James Storm into a Cross Armbreaker, which will result in a submission victory for the Impact World Champion.

Following the match, Alberto El Patron will be handed both of the Championships that he currently has custody of. The commentators will put over the dominant Impact World Champion, who will stand over his downed opponent.

NVQ5Jhw.png

Looking to the mat, where James Storm lies in pain, Alberto El Patron will laugh, looking to belittle the challenge of his previous opponent. Alberto El Patron will then raise the Impact World Championship high above his head in the ring, while dropping the Grand Championship down onto James Storm. With the title over the body of “The Original Outlaw”, Alberto El Patron will put his conquering boot on the belt, while still holding the Impact World Championship in the air. This shot will draw Impact Wrestling to a close, with the commentators suggesting that Alberto El Patron looks better than ever, as his dominant reign at the top continues. They will however point out the chip on the Champion’s shoulder - his desire to get his hands on Rey Mysterio!
