Would like to see some sort of system so we the players can’t abuse TBA to tie up fighters on standard contracts so that they never fight for any other employer.

Really like the idea of the fight staying on the card after injury though

The TEW series is rife with exploits up the wazoo and it still sells so it's a fair policy.

Glad to see the TBA feature coming back. Right now when I play WMMA4, I’m currently type in my promotion’s events on separate booking sheet text file. Whenever I can’t book fights right away (due to my fighters recovering), I use a second text file called Future Booking so when my fighters are eligible to be booked, I could add the fight. With TBA coming back, I can now book the event and then insert the fighters when they’re fully recovered.

The viewer at home doesn't go order a PPV because there's "a Swedish guy fighting in Sweden". It should perhaps have a bonus on attendance, but this should be covered by their pop being higher in the home region anyway. Wisconsin people will probably cheer more for the home guy, but they're not going to go watch because he's main eventing.

This skill boost we know exists because several fighters perform better because of it. You can make it dependant on personality traits or invent an attribute for it to strenghten the effect, but I would stop there for realism's sake.

There should probably be a small boost for the events critical rating (again depending on whether an event is reaching a televised audiance or not) if the hometown hero wins in style. I remember the last UFC event I went to and all the local fighters lost. The audience were really bummed out. Although in the UFC's case, it probably made little difference, apart from possibly losing a chance to convert some on the fence casual fans in attendance.

Either way, the new features announced thus far will make running bigger feds easier. Does this affect the underlying database, or is it a profile edit that only impacts the game that is currently in progress? I am assuming the latter...

The latter. The former wouldn't make sense as if you edited in things that happened, like title wins, they wouldn't have happened in the database itself.
