AlexB
This is sounding more and more like the best bits of WMMA3 & 4 meshed together and with other improvements... getting more pumped with every entry!
Foulejandro
This is getting me super pumped about the game. Will create hilarious injuries for people to get.

CroCop is fielding offers.

Chris Leben tried, Matt Hughes wanted to, Shane Carwin said he was, Heath Herring did.

It's not a rare thing and I wish it was a part of the game. You could do it manually in WMMA 3 and it was removed from WMMA4. When I asked Adam about it, he said doing so wasn't intended for WMMA 3 and could cause fatal flaws. I never experienced any of those personally. There were workarounds for 4, but I think that an "unretire" feature would be extremely beneficial for the game given the landscape of MMA.

Nobody is really retired as long as Bellator is in business.

Maybe a high "dedication" stat but for all we know they are dedicated to something else after their retirement or have started a gym. "Glory" hounds could come back for a title opportunity.

The financial requirements should be very harsh though.

edit: This deal's getting better all the time. 8-)

16-man tourneys. That's awesome. No information yet on the amount of damage retention going into the next round, but even if it's not there the option alone is awesome in and of itself. You can even schedule 32-man tourneys and host the finals a few months afterwards. Together with the AI option for simulation and the recuperation time mod one would believe this journal couldn't get any better. But Adam usually spreads out the juicy features so we'll be all right. :-)
Mike Louis
Company Hall of Fame

I’m so glad that we now have promotional Halls of Fame. A ideal solution for second tier fighters who while they might’ve won a couple of titles, just don’t have either the name value or major PPV / TV title wins to make the regular hall of fame.
RedsRule
Tournaments back is big. I loved giving my prospects a couple of tournament wins early to help his reputation/etc. Sometimes it backfired and led to other guys becoming more of a prospect. klnOmega
So hyped now. Tournaments are the greatest feature. It"s time to begin work on a UFC 1 mod.

All Adam has to do now is not screw up the UI again and this is the best entry in the series by far.
Sfelk
I'm loving it! The hype is real folks!

Tournaments are an amazing addition but the AI Grand Prix feature takes the prize for me. GSP might actually come off impressive as he's a serious guy, but the others who are talking about it... I bet those will not be competitive fights, but I guess you can always match them up against each other which could also be a condition.
Tag01
one night tournaments and AI-ran grand prix are two things I wanted badly, but man these other features are killer too. Today was a good day in the dev journal.
Mr T Jobs To Me
1 night tournaments being back is great, are in-fight injuries fought through as well, do they cause byes, or are they turned off for tournaments? They weren't in 4 because injuries would have messed things up, as I recall.
