So no 16-man tourneys, but maybe that's best for realism's sake. Still bummed me out a little, though, as if you enable grappling rules it would definitely be an option. But I guess we can always host multiple ones on the same day.

The only promotions off the top of my head that held 16 or more man tournaments were Rings, Pancrase, and UFC at UFC 2 (still miffed the only available footage of those first 8 fights is terrible VHS quality. We know it exists, UFC! Put it on the DVD!)

Also, I think a Russian promotion once did a 64 man tournament.

Or perhaps a 4- or 8-man tourney to cap it off. It's just that the more people involved in the "second stanza", the more you have to wait (on average).

A 64-man tourney would be insane and very anticlamatic when it comes to action. But I guess you can have a 64-man tourney by holding regional qualifiers for an 8-man "tourney of champions". But where are you going to get 64 workers of the same weight unless you employ the entire WMMA universe? <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Then please give us some examples of these “groundbreaking features” you are missing so far. I’m genuinely curious.

Almost all of the suggestions in the aptly-named thread over the last year have been made possible, so I think some credit is due.

But the "back of the box" features so far are the customization with the fight engine(which should allow stuff like the DBZ mods and the Comic Book mod makers to really go ham and make it a more palatable fight engine for those crazy purposes. I'm looking forward to that)and One-Night Tournaments are back. Still got 2 weeks plus, I expect to get about 2 more box backers and I'm looking forward to what those will be.

Also here's hoping we get HD monitor support? Maybe figure out the fullscreen thing? Please?
