I saw him in a DDT main event live a month ago, and he is quite incredible. 74 pop is perhaps a little high, but he is essentially the ace of DDT, which I *think* is the second largest promotion in Japan at the moment after NJPW? I'm making my 1 th pick and checking my big board spreadsheet and Brock Lesnar is sitting there and I hadn't put him to red as taken so I go check the spreadsheet and sure enough nobody has taken him. Now I don't like Brock (he's a tool) and I dont much enjoy booking him - I know he'll work with who I've got in that Japanese realism style but if anybody is looking for a Main eventer and wants to make a fair trade offer somewhere down the line feel free. Then with my 11th rnder I get Dos Caras jr - what could go wrong with that situation? </p><p> </p><p> 10 rounds in how is everyone feeling about their rosters. </p><p> </p><p> I've got some great workers with enough years left to keep me solid for a good while and one young gun to emerge later. Okada of course is golden. As much as I don't like Lesnar the thought of matches with Okada, Naito & Devitt does make having him worthwhile. After my first three picks which went perfect, I've missed out on so many names I thought I'd pick as soon as my turn came around. Neville, Ricochet, Takashita, YAMATO, Shingo Takagi, Naruki Doi. I did not have my eyes on Brock Lesnar, but if I had realized he had slipped that far, I would have surely picked him up just like Alpha did. There were also a bunch of Mexican luchadors that I would have liked to have added, but I was never going to be valuing them as highly as southside_hitmen (and of course, that's not a knock on southside_hitmen's drafting, just that we have different circumstances to take into account).</p><p> </p><p> On the other hand, I have some things to be happy about. I have the Golden Lovers Omega and Ibushi, they belong together. I've got the best Japanese talker in Nakamura. I have a streaming service and I have the top woman I wanted (even if Shirai probably is the pick I could have waited another round to make and she would *probably* have still been around). </p><p> </p><p> I think my midcard is going to be alright, but it doesn't feel as "lucha" as I would have liked.
