Don't know that it matters. I like all the combos though. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p>

-Riddle has more upside, but Filthy should win unless he's signed to a regular contract.</p><p>

-Tough to call, but I feel like something is brewing there in the Club. Or maybe that's just current NJPW spilling over into my predictions...</p>

Talk about a way to make a statement, <strong>Rush, Naito and EVIL</strong> have limited time as 3-man unit but you'd have never known it by the way they came out flying early in this bout. <strong>The Hung Bucks</strong> meanwhile have the experience edge, but that was neutralized by the overall skill of their opponents. The booking committee seems to have forgotten about some of the more well known teams recently, but this was a good chance to showcase some of the other teams in Ring of Honor. The first elimination came relatively quickly when <strong>Odinson</strong> annihilated <strong>Cheeseburger</strong>. The next elimination came when <strong>Rhett Titus</strong> rolled up <strong>Caprice Coleman</strong> leaving the <strong>Dawgs</strong> and <strong>Taven + Odinson</strong> in the ring. These teams started to exchange blows, but ultimately <strong>Odinson</strong> overpowered <strong>Titus and Ferrara</strong> and got the victory for his team. Now SANADA set his eyes on winning a singles title in America. <strong>Marty Scurll</strong> on the other hand definitely had a solid scouting report on <strong>SANADA</strong> as he was able to keep him grounded through much of the match. The match wound-up becoming more technical than one would have expected, with <strong>SANADA</strong> and <strong>Scurll</strong> exchanging moves on the ground for a good few minutes. As you can expect, <strong>Martinez</strong> went after the elbow, and <strong>Low-Ki</strong> was clearly weakened but that didn't stop him from his typical stiff offense. <strong>Martinez</strong> managed to rip the tape off the elbow, but that seemed to benefit <strong>Low-Ki</strong> as it freed his range of motion. <strong>Priscilla Kelly</strong> got up on the ring apron and while the referee was busy getting her down off the apron, <strong>BJ Whitmer</strong> threw talcum powder into the face of <strong>Low-Ki</strong>. <strong>Low-Ki</strong> now disoriented fell victim to <strong>Martinez</strong>, who locked in a hammerlock on the injured elbow and forced <strong>Low-Ki</strong> to tap.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Damien "Punishment" Martinez defeated Low-Ki after BJ Whitmer and Priscilla Kelly got involved</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> Medical staff tried to offer <strong>Low-Ki</strong> a towel for his face but he pushed them away and called for a microphone. <strong>Low-Ki</strong> in his trademark baritone voice called out <strong>BJ Whitmer</strong>, telling him he will end him and his friends. Pound for Pound the three big men all had something in common. On the other end of the spectrum there was <strong>Matt Taven</strong>, and unfortunately for his team, his lack of power and size came back to haunt him as <strong>Hanson and Rowe</strong> managed to get <strong>Odinson</strong> out of the picture and hit Fallout on <strong>Taven</strong> for the win and number one contendership.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">War Machine defeated Odinson and Matt Taven to become the Ring of Honor #1 Contenders to the ROH Tag Titles. </span></strong></p><p> </p><p> The <strong>Best Friends</strong> suddenly appear and say that Ring of Honor officials must have accidentally forgotten them in the this battle. As the bell is rang <strong>Riddle</strong> gets up and gets straight into <strong>Lawlor</strong>'s face. Both men start swinging at each other and the bell consistently keeps going off. I came up with a plan for a feud with Whitmer involved and think this will give Low-Ki's character some direction. AND build up the fact that Naito is cashing in on the fact that he beat Cody back in May for a pay-per-view bout in October for the ROH Title if Cody still holds it... But Cody's going to have a very formidable challenger at Death Before Dishonor. </p><p> </p><p> The rest of the card was up and down.</p><p> </p><p> ------------------------------------------------------------</p><p> <strong>Prediction Contest (Session Three, Third of Five Rounds)</strong></p><p> Blodyxe: 9/10 + 8/10 + 7/9 </p><p> TheFinalCountdown: 9/10 + 10/10 + 8/9</p><p> DGenerationMC: 9/10 + 8/10 + 8/9</p><p> The Lariat: 7/10 </p><p> BHK1978: 6/10 + 8/10 + 7/9</p><p> Kijar: 4/10 + 7/10 + 7/9</p><p> Powerbrock100: 7/10 + 8/9</p>

We had two ROHWrestling.com Pre-show exclusives as <strong>Sumie Sakai</strong> defeated <strong>Jessie "Bonesaw" Brooks</strong> in WOH action and <strong>Rhett Titus</strong> defeated <strong>Flip Gordon</strong>.</p><p> </p><p> Our televised portion kicked off with <strong>Dalton Castle</strong> defeating <strong>Frankie Kazarian</strong> in singles action. Post-match, <strong>Dalton</strong> got on the microphone and told <strong>SoCal Uncensored 2.0</strong> that the Party Peacock is back on track, and thanks to the them and their antagonizing ways only further lighting a fire in Dalton's.... <strong>The Boys</strong> stepped in to prevent <strong>Dalton</strong> from finishing the sentence, fanning him down... <strong>Dalton</strong> then finishes by saying, next month at <em>Death Before Dishonor</em>, it'll be <strong>SoCal Uncensored</strong> who is dishonored as <strong>Castle and The Boys</strong> will retain.</p><p> </p><p> Backstage we see <strong>Chris Sabin</strong> and <strong>Alex Shelley</strong>. <strong>Shelley</strong> asks <strong>Sabin</strong> why he wasn't at the PPV and says he's been distant recently. <strong>Shelley</strong> says if <strong>Sabin</strong> had been there he knows they would have captured the opportunity to become the #1 Contenders. But <strong>Sabin</strong> stops him and says he wasn't there because he had bigger things to do... like tonight, he has places to be, and walks out. Leaving <strong>Shelley</strong> standing there. <strong>Will Ospreay</strong> walks up after <strong>Sabin</strong> leaves and volunteers to be <strong>Shelley's</strong> partner tonight.</p><p> </p><p> In tag action the <strong>Best Friends</strong> scored a victory over <strong>Coast 2 Coast</strong>. The <strong>Best Friends</strong> tell the cameras that unlike some, their friendship is stronger than ever!</p><p> </p><p> Next we see <strong>Matt Taven</strong> talking to <strong>Odinson</strong>. <strong>Taven</strong> tells <strong>Odinson</strong> that the PPV taught him that they needed more manpower. Looking directly into the camera, <strong>Taven</strong> says next week, he'll face <strong>Marty Scurll</strong> for the television title and that <strong>Marty </strong>better watch out, <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">The End</span></strong> is here.</p><p> </p><p> The newly, potentially temporary, team of <strong>Alex Shelley and Will Ospreay</strong> defeated <strong>Tough Guy Inc.</strong> in a match that showcased <strong>Shelley and Ospreay</strong> as a team they showed that they might be a force if they choose to tag together in the future, but for now <strong>Alex Shelley</strong> is clearly concerned with reuniting with his long-time partner, <strong>Chris Sabin</strong>.</p><p> </p><p> Backstage <strong>Jay and Mark Briscoe</strong> are walking towards the entrance curtain and <strong>Jay</strong> screams something about wanting to face "A Young Buck" tonight. They happen upon <strong>Matt and Nick Jackson</strong>... <strong>Mark</strong> immediately swings a crutch at <strong>Nick</strong>, taking him out as <strong>Jay</strong> lays into <strong>Matt</strong> screaming your coming with me. <strong>Jay Briscoe</strong> drags <strong>Matt Jackson</strong> out to the ring and the main event begins. Having jumped him in the back, <strong>Jay Briscoe</strong> clearly didn't have much interest in adhering to the <em>Code of Honor</em>, but as he got <strong>Matt</strong> to the ring and the bell rang, <strong>Jay</strong> mockingly shook his hand. <strong>Matt Jackson</strong> made a comeback and the match turned into a solid main event but <strong>Jay Briscoe</strong> did get the win in the end, hitting the Jay Driller.</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> ---------------------------------------------------------------------------</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;"><span style="font-size:18px;">ROH TV, September Week 1, 2018</span></span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="44489" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="HO2Q7wI.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/HO2Q7wI.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> In an ROHWrestling.com Exclusive we taped "<strong>The End</strong>" defeating the enhancement team of <strong>Brad Kevins and Kriss Stark</strong>. This will be available online after the episode so be sure to tune in to find out who is teaming with <strong>Odinson</strong>.</p><p> </p><p> The show opens with <strong>SoCal Uncensored 2.0</strong> taking on <strong>Will Ospreay, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin</strong>. <strong>Sabin</strong> appears completely disinterested in this match-up but he partakes in a couple tags. As the match gets going <strong>Ospreay</strong> is knocked off the ring-apron "accidentally" by <strong>Sabin</strong>, who tags out to <strong>Shelley</strong> and goes to ringside to "help" <strong>Ospreay</strong>. <strong>Shelley</strong> gets the momentum going, and goes for a tag but <strong>Sabin</strong> is down on the floor with <strong>Ospreay</strong> and looking out into the crowd. <strong>Kazarian</strong> sneaks in from behind and rolls up <strong>Shelley</strong> to get the win as <strong>Ospreay</strong> can't get back into the ring in time and <strong>Sabin</strong> made no effort to break-up the count, feigning interest in something happening in the audience. Post-match <strong>Sabin</strong> blames <strong>Shelley</strong> for the loss and <strong>Shelley</strong> begins arguing with him. <strong>Ospreay</strong> tries to reason with them but <strong>Sabin</strong> just walks off as <strong>Shelley</strong> shakes his head.</p><p> </p><p> After last weeks assault and defeat of <strong>Matt Jackson, Jay Briscoe</strong> took on and took down <strong>Hangman Page</strong> this week. Post-match, <strong>Jay Briscoe</strong> called out <strong>Cody</strong>, saying <strong>Jay Briscoe</strong> has proven himself as the best wrestler in the company. <strong>Cody</strong> comes out and disagrees with him and the two men exchange words. <strong>Jay</strong> challenges <strong>Cody</strong> to a title shot but <strong>Cody</strong> doesn't respond, instead walking out.</p><p> </p><p> We get a hype video with the <strong>Best Friends</strong>, they say that they feel like they are back on track and next week they are challenging the #1 Contenders, <strong>War Machine</strong>.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Jay Lethal</strong> defeated <strong>Caprice Coleman</strong> in a bout that was surprisingly good. <strong>Lethal</strong> has consistently proven himself as a star in this company and this bout continued to show that. Though he fell short last month against <strong>Cody, Lethal</strong> will continue to be a threat as the year progresses.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Low-Ki</strong> is seen with a Doctor, the Doctor is checking his elbow out and says "All Good, I see no new damage"... <strong>Low-Ki</strong> looks up at a camera and calls out <strong>BJ Whitmer</strong>, saying that <strong>Whitmer and Damien</strong> tried to end him, but you can't break a warrior. What <strong>Whitmer</strong> did was spineless and only what a man who is afraid of a fight would do.</p><p> </p><p> In the television main event, <strong>Marty Scurll</strong> defended the Television Title against <strong>Matt Taven</strong>, <strong>Odinson</strong> was suspiciously missing from ringside, but as <strong>Scurll</strong> had his hand raised......</p><p> </p><p> <iframe width="240" height="130" src="<a href="https://www.youtube.com/embed/rFg7I8pX7OU?rel=0&controls=0&showinfo=0&start=9" rel="external nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/embed/rFg7I8pX7OU?rel=0&controls=0&showinfo=0&start=9"</a> frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Odinson</strong> and another large man, identified as <strong>Hammerstone</strong> (last seen during the Top Prospect Tournament), jumped the guardrail and immediately decimated <strong>Scurll</strong> in the middle of the ring. <strong>Taven</strong> grabbed a microphone and told Marty... He says that being a World Champion is hard work, but its work cut out only for a man like <strong>Cody</strong>. With that said, he's a fighting champion and at Death Before Dishonor... It'll be <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Cody vs. Jay Briscoe</span></strong> for the ROH World Title.</p><p> </p><p> What a huge announcement to start our show! Our first match meanwhile involves <strong>Low-Ki</strong> defeating <strong>Silas Young</strong>. <strong>Low-Ki</strong> hit a Ki Krusher and managed to keep his elbow out of harms way throughout the bout. Post-match he calls out <strong>BJ Whitmer</strong> and gets <strong>Whitmer, Priscilla Kelly and Damien "Punishment" Martinez</strong>. <strong>Low-Ki</strong> challenges <strong>BJ Whitmer</strong> to a <em>Fight Without Honor at Death Before Dishonor</em>. Whitmer nods happily and says he'll see him there.</p><p> </p><p> In a pre-recorded promo <strong>SoCal Uncensored 2.0</strong> promise to win the titles back at <em>Death Before Dishonor</em>. Saying they won't be robbed like they were in "International Waters".</p><p> </p><p> Our newest tag team, <strong>The End</strong> is out next, they take on the recently dysfunctional <strong>Motor City Machine Guns</strong>. In fact the match starts with <strong>Shelley and Sabin</strong> arguing with eachother on the way to the ring. The camera picks up <strong>Sabin</strong> saying he's sorry, and he's focused. <strong>Odinson and Hammerstone</strong> pick up a shock victory though when <strong>Sabin</strong> walks out on <strong>Shelley</strong> in the middle of the match. <strong>Shelley</strong> looks distraught in the ring as <strong>Matt Taven</strong> pushes him from the ring and with a microphone tells <strong>Marty Scurll</strong> that at Death Before Dishonor, <strong>Odinson</strong> is cashing in his prize for winning the <em>Top Prospect Tournament</em>, and much like his mentor "ME" (Matt Taven), he'll capture the television title.</p><p> </p><p> In a pre-recorded promo back in Sandy Fork, DE the <strong>Briscoes</strong>, surrounded by their family discuss what Ring of Honor has meant to the them and what the ROH World Title will mean to <strong>Jay Briscoe</strong>. At <em>Death Before Dishonor</em>, <strong>Jay Briscoe</strong> is bringing back the ROH World Title to Sandy Fork, DE. And Dem Boyz will reclaim their spot as ROH's wrestling dynasty.</p><p> </p><p> In the main event, the <strong>Best Friends</strong> defeated the tag team #1 Contenders, <strong>War Machine</strong> in a very solid bout. <strong>Beretta</strong> hit the Gobstopper on <strong>Ray Rowe</strong> to get the victory for his team. <strong>Ian Riccaboni</strong> wonders on commentary what that'll mean for the Tag Title Contenders and encourages us to tune in next week to find out.</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> ---------------------------------------------------------------------------</p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Notes:</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> DREAM~!: Definitely hard to book the crossover shows, but they are a lot of fun. They let me bring in guys I wouldn't normally use and it allows me to book some guys as features rather than as full-time guys so I enjoy it. But it does create some headaches.</p><p> </p><p> Blodyxe: I think it's safe to assume he wrapped that crutch around the back of Titan and/or El Soberano Jr at one point or another during the bout ;-)... Plus as you saw on TV he used it to neutralize a Young Buck.</p><p> </p><p> I'm using Hammerstone (Alexander Hammerstone from the Top Prospect Tournament) as the second piece of The End tag-team because I thought his name flowed so much better with Odinson than his actual partner from EVOLVE and FIP (Mike Parrow). Plus I like the look of Hammerstone. At 27 and 24 respectively, The End could be a true force as a tag team, plus they have excellent chemistry which is a big help. I personally don't love Matt Taven, but I liked the idea of a former ROH TV champ and Top Prospect Tournament winner (Taven) mentoring Odinson and subsequently Hammerstone. He's definitely more on an unknown but I need a couple of those types of a guys and I wanted a character that fit the product and I think he does.</p><p> </p><p> I think the build-up for Death Before Dishonor has been solid so far, we have a challenger for the TV, World and 6-Man titles all set-up and we still have two weeks of TV left. I'm happy about that.</p><p> </p><p> Lastly, we've just grown to Cult-Size. Which is both great and scary... especially since the WWE and NJPW both have fallen to Cult recently, leaving us in a bit of a wrestling wasteland. Though WWE is definitely still "international" in scheduling, which is good. I may make some Exclusive PPA contract offers to some of my stars if I'm forced into it, but for now it'll be status quo! We have A+ Momentum, which is awesome but I think as we move from Regional to Cult that'll take a hit.</p>

Today, Ring of Honor proudly announces that we have come to terms with former WWE Divas Champion and one of the final members of the Hart Dungeon, Nattie Neidhart. Nattie comes to Ring of Honor after spending more than a decade with the WWE. Determined to make an impact Nattie is quick to point out that her husband, TJ Wilson, competed for Ring of Honor way back in 2003 in a match against another member of the Hart Family, Teddy Hart at Glory By Honor. Nattie has promised to make an impact in the squared circle and she has promised to bring respect to the Women of Honor division.

ROH TV September Week 3 and 4, 2018

ROH TV September Week 3, 2018

eDxFe34.png

A mere two shows away from Death Before Dishonor and before we went live we had two ROHWrestling.com Exclusives. In Women of Honor action, Deonna Purrazzo defeated Priscilla Kelly and in a hard-hitting bout Tom Lawlor submitted Jonathan Gresham.

The show opens with Cody and Brandi Rhodes, the self-proclaimed King and Queen of Ring of Honor, and the ROH World and Women of Honor champions respectively coming out to the ring and beginning to cut a promo about Death Before Dishonor. Suddenly a familiar guitar riff is heard and out walks Nattie Neidhart to a big pop. Nattie immediately begins to cut a promo on Brandi and the Women of Honor division as a whole, saying it needed a shot in the arm. Kelly Klein runs out from behind and attacks Nattie, a brawl ensues and security rushes down to stop it, Brandi and Cody flee the scene as Nattie calls for a match, right then and there with Kelly Klein.

In the subsequent bout, Nattie Neidhart submitted Kelly Klein with the Sharpshooter, making a successful ROH debut.

War Machine, disappointed in the loss last week to the Best Friends, tell them they will put their #1 Contendership on the line at Death Before Dishonor for a chance to right the wrongs and defeat Best Friends.

Jay Lethal defeated Damien "Punishment" Martinez in a shockingly good bout. This was more of just a chance for both men to be seen on TV though there may be a tie-in down the road.

We get a video with Tom Lawlor. He's training in an MMA facility. He looks up at the camera, and says "I Am A Weapon" as it fades to black. The announcers talk about the cold-cock shot he took at Matt Riddle last month.

Up next Will Ospreay got a measure of revenge for his friend Alex Shelley defeating Chris Sabin in a match that was actually pretty disappointing. Post-match, Alex Shelley came down to the ring and got in Chris Sabin's face. Shelley tells Sabin he wants a fight Death Before Dishonor. Sabin says he'll get that fight now and goes to swing at Shelley but Will Ospreay steps in and pulls them apart before it can devolve into a brawl. He and Shelley walk up the ramp as Sabin tells Shelley he'll see him at Death Before Dishonor.

In the main event, The Television Champion, Marty Scurll and The Young Bucks, though not always on the same page over the last few months, seem to be on good terms here as they teamed up to defeat Matt Taven and The End. Scurll forced Taven to tap to end the show.

ROH TV September Week 4

f78Uawm.png

The show opens with a shot from earlier today. The Young Bucks and Marty Scurll are shown arriving when suddenly Odinson, Hammerstone and Matt Taven jump them. We know that Odinson is challenging Scurll at Death Before Dishonor using his prize for winning the Top Prospect Tournament to gain the title shot, and as the show opens Ian Riccaboni tells us that The Young Bucks have requested a match against Matt Taven and Hammerstone at Death Before Dishonor as well.

The show opened with Jay Lethal once again showcasing his skills as he defeated Kenny King in our opener.

We then get a video package with Cody and The Briscoes each individually hyping what will be the Pay-Per-View main event.

In a tag bout, Coast 2 Coast defeated Good Burger. Shaheem Ali had to be helped to the back though and he may have been hurt, time will tell.

Low-Ki is out next, he calls out BJ Whitmer, tells him a Fight Without Honor means that anything goes and Low-Ki isn't afraid that it will mean Damien and Priscilla will be involved. Low-Ki just wants to beat the tar out of BJ Whitmer.

Nattie Neidhart won another Women of Honor bout, defeating Mandy Leon. Post-match Nattie said she came her to bring respect to the division and that starts at Death Before Dishonor when she captures the title that has been collecting dust around Brandi Rhodes waist. She tells Brandi to not even worry about accepting it, because this isn't a challenge its a FACT.

We went to sit-down interview filmed earlier with Chris Sabin. The cameraman asks him what happened between he and Shelley over the last few months and came to a head last week. Sabin says that Alex Shelley has always been jealous of the accomplishments that Chris Sabin has achieved and that Chris Sabin has achieved more than Shelley ever will. He promised that at Death Before Dishonor he would win the one on one with his "former friend."

In an awful main event for a go-home show, Flip Gordon and Jonathan Gresham defeated The Dawgs. With a big PPV coming up tomorrow, you'd think we would have had a better bout, but I suppose thats the downside to five weeks of build-up in a smaller company.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Ring of Honor Presents: Death Before Dishonor Preview

The eighth edition of Death Before Dishonor features eight explosive matches.

The Ring of Honor World Title will be on the line as Cody will defend against ROH Original, and 1/2 of the current ROH Tag Champions, Jay Briscoe. Over the last two months while Mark Briscoe has been out with an ankle injury, Jay has seen to it to uphold the family name, defend the gold, and now set-out to capture the ROH World Title again. He'll face a stiff challenge in the "American Nightmare" Cody. The self-proclaimed King of Ring of Honor is sure to have some tricks up his sleeve, but ultimately this one will come down to who wants it more!

The Ring of Honor Television Title sees a new challenger as Odinson, the winner of the 2018 Top Prospect Tournament back in January, has finally decided to cash-in his prize and challenge Marty Scurll for the TV Title. Already a powerhouse in his own right, Odinson formed an alliance with another former Top Prospect Tournament winner, Matt Taven over the summer, and after months of promising "The End" they debuted Hammerstone as the third member of this physical stable earlier this month. Scurll will have his work cut out against the much larger Odinson, but if there is one thing we know about The Villain its that no challenge is too large for Marty Scurll.

Capturing the 6-Man Tag Titles at July's Rager at Sea Pay-Per-View seems to have corrected the course for Dalton Castle as he has managed to reel off multiple victories in singles action in the last two months. Back with The Boys, they'll face the former champs, SoCal Uncensored 2.0 in their toughest challenge as champs yet. Can Castle and The Boys defend or will the titles wind-up back in So Cal.

Our final title bout will see the newly debuted Nattie Neidhart take aim at the only Women of Honor champion we have ever known, Brandi Rhodes. Rhodes hasn't been much of a fighting champion and this will certainly be her hardest task yet. Neidhart may have only arrived on the scene two weeks ago, but she has openly stated she is here to bring respect to the division, and a win will certainly solidify that.

Honor, it is not just in our name, it is our motto and it is our truth. Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin have been long-time partners, capturing tag titles all over the world together including here in Ring of Honor. But recently we've seen the cracks in the facade showing and over the last month The Motor City Machine Guns have collapsed. At Death Before Dishonor, both men will put their individual Honor on the line as they go one-on-one for the first time in Ring of Honor.

Respect, another core value in Ring of Honor, and another item that has been disrespected and tarnished over the last few months by someone who should be actively interested in upholding it. BJ Whitmer formally aligned himself with Damien "Punishment" Martinez in early 2018 and has set-out to "Exorcise" Ring of Honor of its demons and its past. Whitmer and company set their target on Low-Ki at the Rager at Sea two months ago. In that bout, Martinez lost, but in the process hyperextended Low-Ki's elbow leaving him with some damage. The next month, at War of the Worlds, Whitmer assisted Martinez in defeating Low-Ki and in the process further damaged the elbow. The World Warrior, Low-Ki, meanwhile has set his eyes directly on the ring-leader, Whitmer, who hasn't stepped into a Ring of Honor ring as a competitor in a televised bout since February of 2017. Low-Ki took it a step further making it a Fight Without Honor, fully acknowledging that Martinez and Priscilla Kelly will get involved and not seeming to care.

With their partner in crime Odinson challenging for the Television Title, Hammerstone and Taven set-out to weaken Scurll and his Bullet Club teammates The Young Bucks with a vicious pre-show attack just last night before our final television show prior to the pay-per-view. And while they succeeded, they also drew the unfavorable assignment of having to fight a very pissed Young Bucks. Nick and Matt Jackson have had some ups and downs this month, including being jumped by The Briscoes and now by The End. After this assault though they took matters into their own hands, telling the competition committee that they wanted to fight Taven and Hammerstone and they wanted to do it at Death Before Dishonor.

Last but certainly not least we have War Machine vs. The Best Friends. At War of the Worlds, War Machine won a multi-team gauntlet match to be named the #1 Contenders to The Briscoes Tag Titles. With Mark still on the shelf, and Jay challenging for the World Title tonight, War Machine stated that they only wanted to challenge for the titles when their opponents were 100% committed. Meanwhile, Chuckie T and Beretta were left out of the War of the Worlds gauntlet match and in turn, felt snubbed. After scoring a win against Coast 2 Coast in late August, The Best Friends asked to fight War Machine to prove that they still had it as a team. In that bout three weeks ago, Beretta scored the pinfall and The Best Friends took home a victory against the #1 Contenders. War Machine, being competitors then laid out the challenge, offering up their #1 Contendership if the Best Friends could beat them again at Death Before Dishonor

Everyone alive agrees with BHK on this one. Whitmer knows that's his place in wrestling, at least</p><p>

Few thoughts here. No secret this is my favorite tag team of all time. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> The split provides so many different angles, but at this stage in their careers, I am hopeful that one of the two goes pretty far in the company from this split. It is indeed a toss-up who is better, but Sabin has escaped the tag curse a bit more than Shelley, I'd say.</p><p>

ROH Death Before Dishonor VIII

Ring of Honor Death Before Dishonor VIII

Sunday, September Week 4, 2018

Announcers: Ian Riccaboni and AJ Kirsch

In an ROHWrestling.com Exclusive: "Filthy" Tom Lawlor knocked out Leon St. Giovanni.

Our show opened with a traditional pay-per-view opening video that covered the stories we'd be seeing unfold here tonight. While it obviously focused on the main event, Cody vs. Jay Briscoe, it actually ended with a package on Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley. They've been close friends and travel partners since 2007, but of late they clearly have been on completely different wavelengths. After finally coming to a head over the last month these two grapplers will go one-on-one to open this show.

Alex Shelley vs. Chris Sabin

These two former partners and champions had no love lost in this one as they immediately began exchanging punches in the middle of the ring. The brawl ultimately resulted in both men chopping eachother across the ring until Sabin took the low road and kicked out the leg of Shelley. Sabin took to beating Shelley on the mat before finally getting the bout going with some of what was expected, the combination of speed and quick hitting power that Chris Sabin has been known for. Alex Shelley, sensing an opportunity slipping out of his grasp managed to fight back and even countered an early Cradle Shock attempt from Sabin. With Shelley gaining the momentum Sabin slid out of the ring and took a breather. Shelley came flying out of the ring and hit a huge Tope Con Hilo to take Sabin down on the ramp. Shelley threw Sabin back into the ring and went up top for another high-risk maneuver, but Sabin rolled out of the way and again out of the ring. He started to walk up the aisle and was leaving the ring but Will Ospreay stepped out of the entryway and Sabin slowly backed up back towards the ring, where he was again met by Shelley flying over the top rope. Shelley rolled Sabin back into the ring and hit the...

Automatic Midnight in the center of the ring... 1-2-3.

Alex Shelley defeated Chris Sabin

As Shelley celebrated, Will Ospreay hopped into the ring and hugged his friend, raising his arm in celebration as Sabin cowered away up the ramp.

After a great opening bout, we returned to the ring as War Machine prepared to put their right to a shot at the Tag Titles on the line.

#1 Contendership for the Tag Titles

Best Friends vs. War Machine

TKL2LiD.jpgosDZUwf.jpgVSTPXMrhF.jpgP5BbpIx.jpg

After our last bout featuring former best friends we transitioned into a match featuring current Best Friends. Beretta and Chuckie T felt snubbed by ROH, but set out to prove they deserved a chance and War Machine is always up for a fight. In this one we saw both teams prove why they are two of the best teams in the game today. The fans were firmly behind both teams, which made for a great environment for both teams to highlight what they are great at. In avenging a loss from a few weeks ago, Rowe and Hanson hit Fallout on Chuckie T to secure the win, and maintain their right to face The Briscoes next.

Speaking of the Briscoes, a cameraman was outside as a big pickup truck pulled in and Jay and Mark Briscoe got (well Mark hopped) out of it and headed toward the MassMutual Center.

Women of Honor Title

Brandi Rhodes {C} vs. Nattie Neidhart

U71ElE6.jpgVSXLrx1xE.jpg

Nattie Neidhart arrived on the scene two weeks ago and immediately went after Brandi. Kelly Klein and Mandy Leon were both casualties of the Sharpshooter leading up to this bout and Nattie has promised to bring respect to the division. Brandi meanwhile may be the only champion in history, but she's only defended the title a few times in the nine months she has held it. Tonight Nattie set out to change the record and kickstart the division and to be frank... she did just that. Forcing Brandi to submit to the Sharpshooter and subsequently crowning a new Women of Honor champion.

Post-match as Nattie was crowned, the cameras panned over to Brandi Rhodes who was crying profusely in the ring that she had just lost the title.

The Young Bucks made their entrance next, followed by The End and Matt Taven. Though Odinson is scheduled to face Marty Scurll later tonight, he accompanied his stablemates down to the ring for this one and that in turn prompted Marty Scurll to head out to the ring as well.

Matt Taven and Hammerstone vs. The Young Bucks

85QSprR.jpgNlkd3lW.jpgVS8378v4n.jpgNEHdvLg.jpg

The Young Bucks are bound to put on a show and they can definitely pull a plus match out of anyone, Taven and Hammerstone, along with Odinson, ran roughshod over The Young Bucks prior to the final episode of ROH TV before Death Before Dishonor and this attack is what set this match up. Hammerstone, weighing 240 pounds and standing 6'3" certainly had the size advantage over the Bucks here but his inexperience in big matches was exploited as Matt and Nick managed to be just a step ahead of him at all turns. Matt Taven meanwhile helped balance the match out, but he too was outsmarted by The Bucks for much of the match. At ringside Scurll and Odinson balanced eachother out, each carefully scouting the other to make sure they didn't get involved. After Hammerstone missed a big discus lariat and sent himself out of the ring, The Young Bucks double-teamed Taven and hit the Meltzer Driver on him for the victory.

The Young Bucks defeated Matt Taven and Hammerstone

That prompted Odinson to slide into the ring and go after The Young Bucks, but he was met in the ring by Marty Scurll and the Young Bucks encouraged Paul Turner (the referee) to ring the bell and start the Television Title bout.

ROH Television Title

Marty Scurll {C} vs. Odinson

NXdcx8x.jpgVS5wIQJMM.jpg

Turner rang the bell and therefore legalized the brawl that was going on in the ring with all six men exchanging blows. Suddenly we got a break in the action as both teams went to the corners and Paul Turner ordered both The Young Bucks and Hammerstone/Taven to immediately leave the ringside area. Matt and Nick obliged and baited Hammerstone and Taven into Stereo Superkicks at ringside. This led to both teams brawling their way up the ramp as the television title match got underway. Now that the chaos was out of the way Odinson took an early advantage using his 270 pound frame to manhandle Scurll. He went for a huge powerbomb but Scurll raked the eyes slid out. That led to some of Scurll signatures, including the fingersnap spot. He called for the Crossface Chicken Wing, but couldn't wrap his arms fully around the massive body of Odinson. This led Odinson to throw Scurll into the corner, he rolled both kneepads down and then ran full speed into Scurll in the corner. Scurll's limp body fell to the mat and Odinson lifted him up and hit a massive F-10. He covered Scurll but failed to hook the leg and Scurll managed to kick out at the last tenth of a second. Odinson was enraged and cornered Turner, but this rookie mistake allowed Scurll to regain some composure and bounce off the ropes and hit a Tornado DDT taking Odinson to the ground. He again called for the Chicken Wing... but this time had an idea, and unraveled his wrist tape, wrapping it around Odinson's frame and pinning his arm behind his body, he then locked on a tradition Crossface and Odinson, unable to free himself, was forced to tap out.

After the match the following image showed up on the big screen

8a1nRkG.jpg

The lights went down and when they came back up, "Switchblade" Jay White, who has been sporadically appearing on ROH TV making a mere three televised appearances all year, was standing in the ring wearing a long black coat, with his hair covering half his face. He stared at Scurll in the ring and then kicked him squarely in the stomach.....

NYD2.gif?resize=540%2C304

...Riccaboni called that move the Blade Runner and put White over as having had a big impact over in NJPW this summer and now, he's returned here to ROH ahead of the Global Wars PPV. Message sent!

ROH 6-Man Tag Titles

Dalton Castle and The Boys {C} vs. SoCal Uncensored 2.0

DJeshS8.jpgRETD52W.jpgRETD52W.jpgVSCbw2583.jpgIiF2KXD.jpgtpqum4A.jpg

Dalton Castle and The Boys, perhaps aided a bit by DDP during the Rager at Sea, captured the 6-Man Titles and Dalton Castle is clearly a new man thanks to the victory. Daniels, Kazarian and Romero meanwhile have been frustratingly lost since the loss. This one was frankly a bit of a let-down. The Boys are great at selling and even can fly a little bit but they just aren't on the same levels as the other four. Ultimately they were a bit of a handicap to Castle, who couldn't overcome the experience gap that SoCal Uncensored 2.0 had over his team. The finish of the match saw Frankie Kazarian hit the Wave of the Future on Brent Tate, only for Brandon Tate to try and pull some twin magic... unfortunately for him Christopher Daniels saw it and entered the ring to hit the Angel's Wings on Brandon. Romero and Castle were locked in a battle down on the floor and Kazarian and Daniels dually pinned the twins to recapture the 6-Man Titles.

SoCal Uncensored 2.0 defeated Dalton Castle and The Boys to become the new ROH 6-Man Tag Champions

SoCal Uncensored 2.0 celebrated in the ring with the belts they have reclaimed, and at ringside Dalton Castle helped both boys to the back. The announcers remarked that prior to gaining those titles Dalton was blaming The Boys for his troubles, today The Boys did all they could to help him keep the belts but it was just not enough and Dalton seemed to fully embrace and understand that, helping them to the back.

Fight Without Honor

BJ Whitmer vs. Low-Ki

10FM64k.jpgVSxj4swgH.jpg

A Fight Without Honor with a lone wolf and a trio generally doesn't end well for the lone wolf. But The World Warrior, Low-Ki, has taken part in more Fight's Without Honor than anyone else in ROH History and he took that challenge head-on as Whitmer entered the ring with Damien Martinez by his side. Whitmer and Martinez could have legally made this a handicap match, since there are No DQs in a Fight Without Honor, but Martinez climbed out of the ring and joined Priscilla Kelly at ringside as this one got underway. Whitmer, wrestling his first televised match in 19 months, didn't look like he missed a beat. Low-Ki meanwhile went straight at it. Low-Ki and Whitmer swung wildly connecting with numerous stiff shots to one another but Low-Ki never seemed phased. He took Whitmer out of the ring and that was when Martinez got involved for the first time, but Low-Ki outsmarted us all and pushed Priscilla toward Martinez as Martinez, perhaps stupidly, went for a pump kick. Connecting with Priscilla squarely in the jaw. Low-Ki sent Whitmer into the ringstairs and grabbed a chair to fend off Martinez, connecting with a running chair kick from the apron and taking Martinez down. Low-Ki then placed the chair on top of Whitmer on the floor and climbed to the top of the turnbuckles where he hit The Warriors Way, as Riccaboni pointed out, from nearly 12 feet in the air, squarely onto the chair and across Whitmer's chest. He covered Whitmer on the floor and referee Todd Sinclair made the count for the victory.

Low-Ki defeated BJ Whitmer

As Low-Ki was helped to his feet by Sinclair, Damien Martinez connected with the same kick that took Priscilla Kelly down earlier. He then pulled out a table from under the ring and pulled Low-Ki to the apron, he was clearly looking to hit the huge, South of Heaven chokeslam on Low-Ki through the table... but Jay Lethal came flying down the aisle with a chair in hand and Martinez dropped Low-Ki to the apron to face Lethal. Lethal swung wildly as Martinez, Whitmer and Kelly retreated to the back. Low-Ki looked up at Lethal, exhausted from the bout and Lethal nodded to him before sliding out of the ring and heading to back.

ROH World Title

Cody {C} vs. Jay Briscoe

vHbt8iT.jpgVSl8MTPbW.jpg

As Jay Briscoe made his way to the ring, with his brother Mark crutching his way down to the ring with the tag titles, AJ Kirsch pointed out that Jay Briscoe is a two-time ROH World Champion, having held it most recently in 2015. A one-time 6-man tag champion, and a 9-time ROH Tag champion, calling him the most decorated champion in ROH history would be a fair statement.

Cody made his entrance next, his wife Brandi Rhodes came out with him, though she still looked disappointed and upset that she lost her title earlier tonight. Cody meanwhile has held titles all over the world ever since he left the WWE in 2016. He too is a two time ROH World Champion and so far in 2018 he's been virtually untouchable. However, today we've already seen his dynasty slowly crumbling as his wife lost the Women of Honor title. These two are two of the best workers in the company currently and this match delivered on the hype, though it did fall short of the Lethal/Cody battle from last month. Cody went to give her the title to "protect" and semi-mockingly told her "not to lose this also"... He kissed her and said I'm kidding honey, before handing her his ROH Championship Ring that he proudly wears on his right hand.

Mark Briscoe joined Riccaboni and Kirsch on commentary and promised he would not be involved in this bout. He discussed with the announcers that he and his brother have been living and breathing Ring of Honor since they were 18 years old and that the Briscoe Boys know that if you won't do it yourself, no one will do it for you. Reminding us that it is Sandy Fork vs Everybody.

As the bout slowly begins building both men hit a series of suplexes on each other, getting a rise out of the crowd. The next series saw both men exchange strikes to the chest with Jay hitting Cody so hard that his skin began splitting on impact. Cody battled back with a series of kicks and sent Jay to the floor. Suddenly, Cody climbed the turnbuckle and went to the sky with a moonsault to the floor, something we rarely see, and took Jay down. Brandi came over to check on Cody and Mark Briscoe got up from the booth to check on his brother. Mark, on crutches, and Brandi wound-up face to face. Brandi went to slap Mark, but he caught her hand, and shook it, winking at the camera as Jay Briscoe got back to his feet and "barked" at Brandi, sending her running from the ringside area. Cody took advantage of this brief distraction to take down Jay again and got in Mark's face. Mark backed-up and returned to the booth, staying true to his word that he would not be involved.

Back in the ring, Cody went bouncing off the ropes and went for the Disaster Kick but Jay caught him mid-flight and hit the Ura-nage. He lifted Cody and tossed him across the ring with a Fisherman's Suplex. He then hooked both arms but Cody powered out sending Jay flying. Cody went for the Disaster Kick again, this time connecting squarely with the jaw of Jay Briscoe. He rolled him over and locked on the American Nightmare Lock but Jay reached the ropes and earned a rope break. Jay draped his head over the ring apron, sucking wind to catch his breath and Cody broke the hold and proceeded to jump over the ropes hitting a leg drop onto Jay's neck, flipping him up into the ropes and leaving Cody on the floor. Both men down and out referee Todd Sinclair had no choice but to start the 10-count.

Both men are exhausted but Cody has a bit more life as he picks Jay up, he goes for the Cross Rhodes but Jay Briscoe's body falls to the ground...... Cody looks slightly confused and goes to cover, but Jay is playing possum and rolls Cody up out of nowhere, we might have a new champion!

1-------2-------Cody powers out. Jay and Cody are both up; Cody swings but Jay ducks and hits a dropkick, sending Cody to the corner. Here comes Jay, but Cody moves out of the way, Jay strikes the corner and Cody slides in behind him... Cross Rhodes......

Cody defeats Jay Briscoe to defend the ROH World Title

Jay and Mark Briscoe head to the back to a large applause, as Brandi Rhodes returned to ringside with the belt and ring to present her husband. Cody has a microphone and exhaustedly drops to a knee... he looks up at the camera and simply says.

"Naito....... At Global Wars........ You Are Next"

What an explosive announcement as we go off the air, Cody is granting Tetsuya Naito his title shot, the IWGP Heavyweight Champion will face the ROH World Champion, Cody, in the Main Event at Global Wars, a mere two weeks from now!

Notes:

Woo, I was having a brief bit of bookers "block" trying to figure out some stories for the Global Wars PPV that is a mere two television shows away. I've known since May when Naito defeated Cody during the first War of the Worlds tour, that this would be the Global Wars Main Event, so I'm thrilled to get to that pay-off. As I watched some of NJPW's real product I decided that the Switchblade character fits ROH and since it's an NJPW creation is a great tie-in for Global Wars, that's what prompted Jay White to make that appearance. He's been on my roster since the start, but I've tried to use him very sparingly and considered releasing him to more accurately mirror reality but I've decided this route makes sense and will fit. Beyond that Mark Briscoe is recovered, I had him "sell" the injury for an extra week so that it would fit the story. He and Jay will immediately have to refocus as War Machine will get their title shot. As for the Brandi Rhodes loss... well... She's EASILY the worst performer on my roster (in fact her individual performance in that match was an F+). There are a number of Women available that I think fit the ROH product and though I struggle to book women, think I have a plan that might work and translate and Nattie is the start of that reboot. Having her as a strong champion will allow me to rebuild the division around better wrestlers, which after all is what ROH is all about.

Matt Taven is absolutely a stable-guy to me... also he's a bad wrestler in the game and that limits what I can do with him because i'm a performance over popularity company. Odinson is actually blossoming into a solid worker, so that pairing works and it allowed me to bring in a new face in Hammerstone.

The Sabin/Shelley split was one I debated for awhile. I've always really enjoyed both Shelley and Sabin and they've been a great team in ROH and around the world for a while. I actually enjoyed Sabin's title run in TNA back in 2013, and it got me thinking about what made that character great. With Shelley's win I think it'll start a path for both Shelley and Sabin that will lead to new stories and new directions... worst case scenario they can reconcile one day... but they deserve a shot. Much like the Briscoes. Speaking of which, I'd been planning on one of them getting this September PPV title shot for a long-time... when Mark actually got injured in-game that opened the door for Jay to get the shot. It worked out perfectly. Jay and Mark are consistently putting up B's and A's in individual performance, though they work better as a team. They are the champs for a reason.

After Global Wars, we have Survival of the Fittest and then the year-end finale, Final Battle. Fun fun. Hope everyone is still enjoying the ride as much as I am!

Agreed with all... can't really stand Whitmer. He does well on the microphone though, and Martinez needs that. I wanted Low-Ki to hit some big spots and decided that subjecting Whitmer to that was a good idea. Plus I think it helps that an ROH Original shut Whitmer up about "Exorcising" the past. Suck it BJ. Minor hint, I have something in mind for one of the three in this group, but we are four-five months away from that pay-off.

Also made the decision to take the belts off Castle/The Boys because well... The Boys auto-push to enhancement talent... and Castle has some direction now, so he doesn't need the 6-man belts. Daniels and Kaz have long been personal favorites, but they are both on Time Decline, so at this point its keeping a belt that I personally don't love warm... They can feud with some of my random threesomes like Coleman/O'Ryan/Taylor or even Odinson/Taven/Hammerstone... or maybe even a true jobber team of Cheeseburger/Woods/St Giovanni!!! hahaha.

The prediction contest is still going strong, thanks to all. This round will conclude at Global Wars. We will then have a Three session Round Four based on the Survival of the Fittest (November) before the grand conclusion at Final Battle!... and then we will reboot with 2019!

Just as a fun thought, I've already got four-five names lined up for the Top Prospect Tournament 2019. So I'm looking forward to getting there. I've gone a bit of an EVOLVE bender of late (hence the Odinson) so I'm enjoying finding characters I've never seen/heard of prior to watching it. I think that is what is great about the TPT concept. Also the Future of Honor concept...

I've really enjoyed the Secrets of Nitro podcast (if anyone is into podcasts it's a great 75-90 minute show with a former producer of WCW Nitro/the voice of the NWO). Some of the things I've heard him say about presentation and how they do things have really sparked some thoughts and ideas. And it's a nice way to pass the time as drive for long distances. Highly recommend it, as well as the What Happened When podcast with Tony Schiavone. ... It's also prompted the wild thought of a B-Show Diary highlighting the stars of WCW Saturday Night in 1999... you know like Road Block and High Voltage... Oh ok... kidding.

Oh ok... kidding.

Love the addition of Switchblade, terrific choice. One of the few people I wouldn't mind Marty losing to. :p

Your logic on the MCMG split is beyond exactly what I wanted to hear. :D Good decision, and like you said, worst case, they team again forever. :p

The title changes were well-booked. Brandi is an awful wrestler and the fact you put the belt on her in the first place shocked me. No complaints here, Nattie is a genuine gatekeeper at this point.

The Boys just shouldn't be title holders, let's be honest. I wanted to go the other way on those picks, and even the tag match. For some reason, most others went with Taven and Whomerstone, so I figured let's do it. :p But its the Bucks, and Odinson wasn't even involved, so I should've known. :) Taven plays his part well, I loved seeing him in person for the first time. I became a fan when he was heading to the top rope from the apron and turned around to yell "Matt Taven, b*tches" at the crowd and it was terrific. Almost two years later, I was cheering for him when everyone else was booing, and he yelled my way "you have a... weird beard!" :D:p:rolleyes:

If you want to round out the TPT, my first suggestion would be Ray Rosas. Perhaps Austin Draven as well. :)

This is definitely one of my favorite diaries I've ever read, keep up the great work.

Gutted I missed the predictions for this one. Then again, the show was well done so I can't complain too much.

As a SoCal guy, I'm a homer for Brody King and Douglas James, should they be in your game. Peter Avalon is another great talent, and he can team with Ray Rosas as PPRAY if to want to add to the tag division.

But I thought to myself that they have not really held the belts all that long so maybe they would keep them a tad bit longer. I had no clue that the Boys would only auto-push as enhancement talents but it does make sense because that is probably what they are on the real life roster.</p>

We can now confirm that <strong>Tenille Dashwood</strong> has officially signed a contract with Ring of Honor and the Australian beauty will be making her debut during the upcoming Global Wars tour that starts later this week.</p><p> </p><p> In year since she began taking independent bookings again <strong>Dashwood</strong> has set out to recapture the passion that made her a breakout star in her early 20's. Really enjoyed writing that show, so I'm glad it translated. </p><p> </p><p> Kijar: I love that Taven story, he is capable of being that rare heel that actually makes people hate him. The hatred for Hammerstone is real haha.... You know he and Rosas and Avalon have even been in matches together! He will earn your respect...... Ok, maybe not.</p><p> </p><p> Real-life ROH decided to pull a fast one on me today and debut Tenille at the show in Charlotte... I'd actually made an offer in-game to her last night as I thought she'd be another good fit for this rebooted division, so hey, I went ahead and pulled the trigger to make the announcement here.</p><p> </p><p> Between Kijar and The Lariat's suggestions for the TPT I might as well just purchase Championship Wrestling from Hollywood. <strong>Austin Draven</strong>, who I also enjoy, is probably too popular for the TPT as he's featured on Lucha Underground at the moment and they are on fire so he is pretty popular... Might not deter me though. I'll need to dig more into <strong>Ray Rosas</strong> to get a better feel for him, I see him put up in diaries here and there (...mainly Kijar's haha) but really don't know much about him. <strong>Peter Avalon</strong> on the other hand I know and have seen live. Not a bad thought there. <strong>Brody King</strong> is a guy I've enjoyed in his recent MLW and EVOLVE work. There is a role for him, and it might just be in the TPT... Maybe i'll just put he and Punishment together and call them 6'7"+ Tattooed guys with above average athleticism. Good call on him. Last but not least, <strong>Douglas James</strong>. I'd never heard of him to be honest, so I pulled up some stuff on YouTube/Twitter... I'm down. He fits the ROH style and he's only 24 in the game so that's a big plus. Definitely going to be a contender. In the interest of transparency, my current shortlist for the TPT 2019 has 11 guys on it (and we are still months away!). All 11 are guys either that have been suggested or that I've enjoyed watching at some point. Only eight will make it in... Dun Dun Dun.</p><p> </p><p> I have a concept I'm toying with involving the HonorClub streaming portal that Real Life ROH just announced. Running a couple tests/thoughts before introducing it to the story, but I think it'll be a nice addition.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Global Wars</span></strong> has a short build-up and I'll likely post the two TV shows in the next 24-36 hours. I also have one additional ROHWrestling.com Exclusive Post that'll be up in that time frame.</p><p> </p><p> I don't love pinballing titles a ton but I think the 6-Man Titles are designed in a way that it is ok... Plus when The Boys seemed to stop getting any Pop bump I knew they were screwed.</p>
