Kijar: I love that Taven story, he is capable of being that rare heel that actually makes people hate him. The hatred for Hammerstone is real haha.... You know he and Rosas and Avalon have even been in matches together! He will earn your respect...... Ok, maybe not.

Between Kijar and The Lariat's suggestions for the TPT I might as well just purchase Championship Wrestling from Hollywood. Austin Draven, who I also enjoy, is probably too popular for the TPT as he's featured on Lucha Underground at the moment and they are on fire so he is pretty popular... Might not deter me though. I'll need to dig more into Ray Rosas to get a better feel for him, I see him put up in diaries here and there (...mainly Kijar's haha) but really don't know much about him. Peter Avalon on the other hand I know and have seen live. Not a bad thought there. Brody King is a guy I've enjoyed in his recent MLW and EVOLVE work. There is a role for him, and it might just be in the TPT... Maybe i'll just put he and Punishment together and call them 6'7"+ Tattooed guys with above average athleticism. Good call on him. Last but not least, Douglas James. I'd never heard of him to be honest, so I pulled up some stuff on YouTube/Twitter... I'm down. He fits the ROH style and he's only 24 in the game so that's a big plus. Definitely going to be a contender. In the interest of transparency, my current shortlist for the TPT 2019 has 11 guys on it (and we are still months away!). All 11 are guys either that have been suggested or that I've enjoyed watching at some point. Only eight will make it in... Dun Dun Dun.

This makes me think I've used Ray Rosas to death already. :p True on the Draven note also, I only became a fan after his reality TV stint anyways. :p The reasons he is a terrible Big Brother player are the same reasons he is a great wrestling character.

As far as Taven, yes. 100%. I think the gimmick performance stats in Fleisch's mod have him lowballed in the Heel regard, due to his start as a lil' babyface. :p Can't recall if that is still the case.

That comment has convinced me to give Hammerstone a chance. :D not kidding, though its a slim one haha

Good call mentionining PPA, Lariat, I thought about it but was thinking "well, I also had PPrAy as ETs in my old ROH diary so.." Haha

He mentions Global Wars is only two weeks away, and that <strong>Tetsuya Naito</strong> will get his shot. <strong>Naito</strong> appears, but <strong>Cody</strong> wisely says he's a businessman and that he'll save the fight for the pay-per-view. But tonight, <strong>Naito</strong> can face another member of the <em>Bullet Club</em>... <strong>Hangman Page</strong>!</p><p> </p><p> Our first bout featured <strong>Hirooki Goto</strong> making his first appearance since last years Global Wars tour. Goto easily defeated <strong>The Beer City Bruiser</strong>. </p><p> </p><p> New Women of Honor champion <strong>Nattie Neidhart</strong> is out next, she's out to say the that her winning the title is only the start of the reboot the Women of Honor needed. She says the division needs even more shaking-up. This brings <strong>Brandi Rhodes</strong> out. She congratulates <strong>Nattie</strong> on the victory. Saying that last weeks loss was heartbreaking, <strong>Brandi</strong> announces she's stepping down from in-ring competition, effective immediately. <strong>Brandi</strong> says that when your the Queen you need to pick the battles you can win... and in-ring competition isn't a battle worth fighting. She says she knows she needs to put all her attention into the Dynasty that <strong>Cody</strong> is building and leaves the ring on that note. <strong>Nattie</strong> finishes the promo saying that next week she'll have more news on the shake-up...</p><p> </p><p> <strong>KUSHIDA</strong> makes his return to ROH next, easily defeating <strong>Vinny Marseglia</strong> in his bout. Post-match, <strong>Chris Sabin</strong> calls out <strong>KUSHIDA</strong>, claiming <strong>KUSHIDA</strong> is just like <strong>Alex Shelley</strong>, a man who rides the coat-tails of others to opportunities he never deserved. The announcers mention that<strong> KUSHIDA</strong> has held the ROH Television title and is a major star in Japan and wonder if <strong>Sabin</strong> has bit off more than he can chew.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>War Machine</strong> defeated <strong>Tough Guy Inc</strong> in the penultimate bout of the night. Post-match though <strong>Lethal</strong> is cornered by <strong>Whitmer and Martinez</strong>. Before anything bad can happen <strong>Low-Ki</strong> flies down and clears the ring. He grabs a microphone and tells <strong>Lethal</strong>, at Global Wars, they'll team up to destroy <strong>BJ Whitmer and Damien Martinez</strong>.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Hirooki Goto</strong> and fellow NJPW stablemate, <strong>Beretta</strong> defeated <strong>Silas Young and The Beer City Bruiser</strong> in a bad bout. <strong>Young</strong> was very frustrated with <strong>Bruiser</strong> during and after the bout, leading to some speculation there was trouble in paradise.</p><p> </p><p> Backstage we see <strong>Cody</strong> sitting with the rest of the <strong>Bullet Club</strong>. He mentions how the group hasn't always been as close as they once were, but that they all know they need a unified front to defeat <strong>Tetsuya Naito</strong> at Global Wars. <strong>Cody</strong> asks them all to follow their leader and help ensure the belt stays around his waist.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Nattie Neidhart</strong> is out next and she says at Global Wars she's brokered a partnership with Japan's best Women's Wrestling promotion, <strong>STARDOM</strong> and she's issuing an open challenge for one of them to answer....... Well the star is here.<strong> Dashwood</strong> tells <strong>Nattie</strong>, STARDOM can wait... at Global Wars, The Australian Beauty, <strong>Tenille Dashwood</strong> will face <strong>Nattie Neidhart</strong>.</p><p> </p><p> In our next bout <strong>Flip Gordon</strong> defeated <strong>Tom Lawlor</strong> when <strong>Matt Riddle</strong> came down to the ring and distracted <strong>Lawlor</strong>. <p>ROH Global Wars PPV Preview</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="color:#FF0000;"><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>ROH Global Wars Preview</strong></span></span></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="44489" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p> <em>Global Wars</em> marks the end of the 2018 collaborative NJPW and ROH pay-per-views and will feature an explosive main event that will see <strong>Cody</strong> defend his <em>ROH World Title</em> against the IWGP Heavyweight Champion, <strong>Tetsuya Naito</strong>. <strong>Naito</strong> scored a singles victory over <strong>Cody</strong> in May during the first War of the Worlds tour and used that victory to position himself as a challenger for <strong>Cody</strong>. <strong>Cody</strong> meanwhile has defeated all comers and will be forced into perhaps his hardest challenge yet!</p><p> </p><p> The <em>ROH Tag Titles</em> will be on the line in a bout that is sure to bring the house down. <strong>Mark Briscoe</strong> is returning from an ankle injury that kept him out for much of the last two months, including August's War of the Worlds Pay-Per-View that saw his brother defend the Tag Titles solo against two of CMLL's top challengers. Now back at full strength the <strong>Briscoes</strong> will take on the force known as <strong>War Machine</strong> in what is certain to be an explosive battle.</p><p> </p><p> The <em>Television Title</em> will be defended as <strong>"The Villain" Marty Scurll</strong> prepares to do battle with the darker side of <strong>Jay White</strong>, known as <strong>"Switchblade" Jay White</strong>. Over the summer, <strong>Jay White</strong> tapped into this darker side and began having great success in NJPW. During <em>Death Before Dishonor</em>, <strong>"Switchblade"</strong> returned to ROH and made an immediate impact leveling <strong>Marty Scurll</strong> with his devastating maneuver known as Blade Runner. Will the Villain be able to avoid it, or will he once again fall victim?</p><p> </p><p> Just two weeks ago the <em>Women of Honor</em> division saw its second ever champion crowned when <strong>Nattie Neidhart</strong> defeated <strong>Brandi Rhodes</strong>. In the weeks since the divisions facelift that Nattie promised has been in full effect. First and foremost, <strong>Brandi Rhodes</strong> announced her retirement from in-ring competition, stating that the Queen of Ring of Honor has learned there are certain battles she doesn't need to fight and promising to focus more on ensuring her husband, <strong>Cody</strong> continues his reign. <strong>Nattie</strong> meanwhile introduced a partnership with STARDOM, Japan's top female promotion, that will see some of the biggest stars in female wrestling visit Ring of Honor. But before she could formally make an open challenge to anyone from STARDOM she was interrupted by the debuting <strong>Tenille Dashwood</strong>. Now at Global Wars, <strong>Nattie Neidhart</strong> will make her first defense against <strong>Tenille Dashwood</strong> in what is sure to be one of the best Women of Honor match-ups we have seen.</p><p> </p><p> After two weeks of unsuccessful battles with his associate, <strong>The Beer City Bruiser</strong>, <strong>Silas Young</strong> has taken matters into his own hands, challenging <strong>Hirooki Goto</strong> to a one-on-one bout that is sure to be hard-hitting and true test of <strong>Silas Young</strong>'s Real Man mentality.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Chris Sabin</strong>'s crusade to prove he is a true singles star took a slight detour last month when former partner <strong>Alex Shelley</strong> defeated him at <em>Death Before Dishonor</em>. <strong>Sabin</strong> wasn't deterred though as he immediately targeted <strong>Shelley</strong>'s partner from NJPW, <strong>KUSHIDA</strong>. After costing <strong>KUSHIDA, Shelley and Ospreay </strong>a match that could have seen them named the 6-man champions, <strong>Sabin</strong> issued the challenge to <strong>KUSHIDA</strong>, promising to send him back to NJPW with a loss, and reestablishing <strong>Sabin</strong>'s place among the best in ROH.</p><p> </p><p> Two months ago at War of the Worlds August, <strong>Tom Lawlor and Matt Riddle</strong>'s match was ruled a DQ when <strong>Lawlor</strong> refused to a break a hold on <strong>Riddle</strong>. The subsequent brawl post-match saw <strong>Lawlor</strong> take a cheap shot on <strong>Riddle</strong> that left <strong>Riddle</strong> down and out on the mat. Two months later, unsanctioned and uninvited, <strong>Matt Riddle</strong> returned to Ring of Honor with revenge on his mind costing <strong>Tom Lawlor</strong> his match against <strong>Flip Gordon</strong>. ROH officials moved quickly and agree to a one-day deal with <strong>Matt Riddle</strong> that will see <strong>"The King of the Bros"</strong> take on <strong>"Filthy"</strong> in what is sure to be a hard-hitting and ruthless rematch.</p><p> </p><p> Last but certainly not least, we will see long-time rivals turned hesitant alliance <strong>Low-Ki and Jay Lethal</strong> team up to deal with the persistent problem that is <strong>BJ Whitmer and Damien "Punishment" Martinez</strong>. Last month at <em>Death Before Dishonor</em>, <strong>Whitmer</strong> made his return to the ring, losing to <strong>Low-Ki</strong> in a Fight Without Honor that showed neither man had any respect for each other. Post-match, an enraged <strong>Whitmer and Martinez</strong> attempted to end <strong>Low-Ki'</strong>s career but before the damage could be inflicted <strong>Jay Lethal</strong> cleared the ring. Fast forward two weeks, <strong>Jay Lethal</strong> defeated <strong>BJ Whitmer</strong> in another hard-hitting bout, but much like <strong>Low-Ki</strong>, post-match, <strong>Lethal</strong> was jumped by <strong>Martinez and Whitmer</strong>. This time it was <strong>Low-Ki</strong> to the rescue. Subsequently <strong>Low-Ki and Lethal</strong> challenged <strong>Whitmer and Martinez</strong> to a tag match that will likely see blood-spilled.</p><p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="44489" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">ROH Global Wars Match Card</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><ul><li>ROH World: Cody {C} vs. Tetsuya Naito<br /></li><li>ROH TV: Marty Scurll {C} vs. "Switchblade" Jay White<br /></li><li>ROH Tag: The Briscoe Brothers {C} vs. War Machine<br /></li><li>Women of Honor: Nattie Neidhart {C} vs. Tenille Dashwood<br /></li><li>Grudge Match: BJ Whitmer and Damien "Punishment" Martinez vs. Jay Lethal and Low-Ki<br /></li><li>Rematch: "Filthy" Tom Lawlor vs. "The King of the Bros" Matt Riddle<br /></li><li>Chris Sabin vs. KUSHIDA<br /></li><li>Hirooki Goto vs. Silas Young<br /></li></ul><p></p><p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> -------------------------------------------------</p><p> </p><p> The two weeks between PPVs was a challenge, I think I'll change that up in 2019, but I think the card came together pretty well and I'm really excited about this one, specifically as it moves towards Survival of the Fittest and also Final Battle. Lots of fun stuff coming up. Every match here serves a purpose in the story-telling for these characters and that'll be fun!</p>

-Realistically I think there's no way NJPW would sign off on the IWGP champ losing a singles match outside the company, but I can't see you putting the title on Naito.</p><p> </p><p>

Riddle tried to go for a take-down but Lawlor kept him at bay for the first four minutes or so. In fact, Lawlor recorded the first real takedown, sweeping the feet out from under Riddle and immediately jumping on him for the ground and pound. Riddle powered out though and both men retreated to their corners to regroup. Lawlor got cocky and began to taunt the crowd and that's when Riddle snapped into overdrive, leaping at Lawlor and connecting with a Flying Knee to the chest. Now firmly in control Riddle wore down Lawlor and despite a valiant effort to stay alive, forced him to tap.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Matt Riddle defeated Tom Lawlor</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> Post-match, <strong>Matt Riddle</strong> cuts a promo on <strong>Tom Lawlor</strong> saying he knows that Tom's suspension from MMA officially ended this week and that Lawlor was just using wrestling as a way to keep his name in the news. The Villain meanwhile is always popular and as he strode the ring with his title, umbrella, and plague doctor mask, we knew we were in for a show. This bout started off more technical than most expected, with Scurll showcasing the British "Strong" Style and forcing White to tap into the darker, fiercer side he has only recently begun to reveal. Marty had a near-fall mere minutes into the match and that seemed to set White off. Switchblade brutalized Scurll for what felt like five minutes and then went for the Blade Runner only to see Scurll connect with an eye poke and roll him up for a quick two count. After the near pinfall Scurll continued to control the ground and isolated White's shoulder, weakening him enough to eventually lock-on the Crossface Chicken Wing and retain his Television Title. White really had Scurll on the ropes in this one, and if it weren't for The Villain's dastardly tactics we may have had a new champion. Riccaboni opines post-match that we certainly haven't seen the end of this one.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Marty Scurll defeated Jay White to retain the ROH Television Title</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="44489" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><em>ROH Women of Honor</em></p><p> <strong>Nattie Neidhart {C} vs. Tenille Dashwood</strong></p><p> <img alt="XLrx1xE.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XLrx1xE.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="kTDXWu3.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kTDXWu3.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="8G0Deji.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/8G0Deji.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Two former stars of the Divas division who have recently made their way to the revitalized Women of Honor division squared off in this one. Definitely the case here. Whitmer and Martinez though weren't about to just lay down and take it. In fact Whitmer and Martinez controlled the offense for the bulk of the match. Martinez size and agility allowed him to keep up with Lethal and Low-Ki and his deranged attitude toward pain seemed to make him a great partner for Whitmer. Whitmer meanwhile went after the elbow of Low-Ki right away, but Lethal was able to tag in and he chased Whitmer around the ring until Martinez tagged himself in as well. Lethal and Martinez then had a nice sequence that saw Lethal take Martinez down and climb up top for the Hail to the King, but Priscilla Kelly got onto the apron, only for Low-Ki to come flying across the lower portion of the ropes and take her out with a huge shoulder block as Lethal soared over Low-Ki and connected with the Hail to the King for the victory. </p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Jay Lethal and Low-Ki defeated BJ Whitmer and Punishment Martinez</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> Post-match Lethal and Low-Ki embraced in the ring as Martinez carried Kelly to the back and Whitmer was left licking his teams wounds.</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="44489" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><em>ROH World Title</em></p><p> <strong>Cody {C} vs. Tetsuya Naito</strong></p><p> <img alt="vHbt8iT.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/vHbt8iT.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="kTDXWu3.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kTDXWu3.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="EpaJlLo.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/EpaJlLo.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> This is what you paid for. The main event. IWGP Champ vs. ROH Champ. And this one was a dandy, in fact, Meltzer called it the second-best match in ROH this year. It just had that big match feel. Cody made his way down to the ring, accompanied by his lovely wife Brandi Rhodes. Naito on the other hand rode solo to the ring, but had the fans in the palm of his hand. The announcers hyped that he captured the IWGP World Heavyweight title at Wrestle Kingdom 12 and that at Wrestle Kingdom 13, he'll defend the title against the G1 Climax Winner, Cody's stablemate in the Bullet Club, Kenny Omega. They also highlighted the rift Omega and Cody have had. A rift that saw Cody and Omega fight each other in May, one week after Naito defeated Cody in a non-title bout. As this one got underway Naito and Cody went through a number of rest holds and other methods to build a match slowly. The fans ate it up.</p><p> </p><p> Riccaboni continued that Omega is still obviously close with The Young Bucks, but that the Bullet Club fractures have been seen, even throughout the summer. However, he mentions the club all arrived here at the Joyce Center tonight together and that Cody himself has mentioned that he respects Omega as the leader of the Bullet Club in NJPW and considers himself the President Pro Tempore when Omega isn't present... for example in Ring of Honor.</p><p> </p><p> Naito began to work over Cody's left shoulder and took firm control of the bout at this point. Naito hit a big suplex, sending Cody into the corner. Naito posed briefly and then hit a running kick to the face. Cody was busted open from the force of the kick and blood began to slowly leak from his eyebrow. Naito went to work, raking at the cut area and forcing the issue. He went for a strong irish whip, but Cody reversed it and mounted a comeback only to see Naito mount his own. </p><p> </p><p> As the match reached 20 minutes the video board flickered to life...</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQsnOCuvfr_l2jHxwgctuAsxeiAoj5y6D-Dz-vsamsILwuUUSlA" data-src="https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQsnOCuvfr_l2jHxwgctuAsxeiAoj5y6D-Dz-vsamsILwuUUSlA" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Kenny Omega</strong>, clearly in a vehicle of some kind, spoke "Tetsuya Naito... baby... What can I say. I honestly hope this payoff is fun and works for y'all. I was having a bit of trouble with the whole Bullet Club rift and the direction I wanted to go with it and then I started scripting it out in my mind and decided I loved this direction. I want this to stay true to Ring of Honor and I think a strong stable has been a driving force in ROH in the past (Age of Fall, House of Truth, S.C.U.M.) so this is harkening back to those days with an original stable, not one based in Japan that happens to be in America, but without the leader... I never really liked the Bullet Club in ROH to be honest.</p><p> </p><p> TFC actually hit the nail on the head, I don't think NJPW would willingly let their champ lose a singles bout to the ROH champ on a PPV, at least without a solid story. When Omega won the G1 I knew that was the opening to pull this off here. NJPW cameras/media were "present" since Naito was in the bout. This ending, though making Cody look a little weaker than a clean victory. Allows Omega/Naito to be built further. Omega disrespected the belt and disrespected Naito. Cody meanwhile needed to either run solo or build his own small stable in a Bullet Club Esque fashion. With Scurll holding the TV Title, and Cody holding the World Title, bringing an elite tag wrestler, albeit without a partner, like Sabin into the fold made even more sense to me. I hope you all will enjoy it.</p><p> </p><p> Side note: The prediction prize will be to name the faction. I have two names and logos currently designed, the names are hinted in the promo. I'll send them both to the winner and they can pick.</p><p> </p><p> As for some of the stories in the show: Silas Young's contract expires in two days. He is 38 and going nowhere. I might bring him back down the road, but I didn't need him and he was stalled. Time to let him go... I haven't decided what to do with Lawlor, he isn't going to MMA in the game yet (though it is set in his profile so it could happen). In reality his MMA suspension ends in October of 2018 so this was a chance to consider writing him out for a bit. KUSHIDA and Sabin not having chemistry SUCKED. <p>Wow, that was really interesting and something I did not see coming. And yeah, I can actually see NJPW approving a scenario like this. The IWGP champion lost, but it wasn't clean and it advanced his Wrestle Kingdom feud (let's hope the AI actually books that match, yeah? <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />)</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="CobheadJake" data-cite="CobheadJake" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="44489" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I am a little surprised you had Hangman stick with Kenny rather than Cody, IRL it'd be the other way around. Looking forward to seeing where you take this though.</div></blockquote><p> You're right, but I don't think it'll be hard for him to create an explanation as to why it went that way (he's probably got that all figured out already.) I also think it's easier here since the game started at the beginning of the year, meaning Kenny cutting Hangman off at NJPW's New Beginning and stopping him from challenging Jay White never happened.</p>

Oh yeah, I can definitely see the reasoning behind it in-game, just thought I'd point out the parallels really. I'm perfectly fine with it, evens ups the sides too and gives Hangman a reason to specifically go after Sabin, which could potentially lead into Sabin having a new teammate? (Seemed like he was hinting at that, by pointing out the stable's need for a tag team specialist)

ROH TV October Week 3 and Week 4

ROH TV, October Week 3, 2018

8Qy3sk0.png

In a ROHWrestling.com Exclusive: Dalton Castle and The Boys defeated "The Pastor of Pain" Caprice Coleman, TK O'Ryan and Shane Taylor and in a Future of Honor bout, Jaxson James defeated Kevin Kross.

Our show opens with Cody, Brandi Rhodes, Marty Scurll and Chris Sabin in the ring. The announcers discuss the end of Global Wars, and how this group made an incredible impact. Cody grabs the microphone and says they did what had to be done. He formally announced his new stable's name.

YanlTZD.jpg

ROYALTY

He said Royalty stands for the fact that they rule over not just Ring of Honor, but Professional Wrestling as you know it...As one could expect they were interrupted by The Young Bucks and Hangman Page rushing the ring. Royalty high-tailed it out of the ring as the announcers told us tonight these six-men would face each-other in a 6-man tag main event.

Our first bout was announced as a Survival of the Fittest qualifying bout. In said bout, Low-Ki defeated Mark Briscoe to earn his spot in the tournament. Jay Lethal accompanied Low-Ki to the ring during the match to ensure that Jay Briscoe didn't get involved and post-match, Jay Lethal and Low-Ki warned The Briscoes they are coming for the belts.

In a Women of Honor bout, Tenille Dashwood defeated Scarlett Bourdeaux. Though the match wasn't great, it was a good victory for Tenille.

In a pre-taped promo, SoCal Uncensored 2.0 discusses how now that the titles are firmly around their waists, they can now focus on winning the Survival of the Fittest and capturing the ROH World Title!

In the main event, Royalty (Cody, Marty Scurll and Chris Sabin) defeated The Hung Bucks when Chris Sabin hit the CradleShock on Hangman Page. As Royalty celebrated though Kenny Omega appeared on the screen, leaving us with a simple message...

"Cody, I'm Coming For YA!!!"

ROH TV, October Week 4

qY6Ro4W.png

In a ROHWrestling.com Exclusive and Future of Honor matchup: The End defeated Anthony Bowens and Kai Katana.

The show opened with another Survival of the Fittest qualifier as Jay Briscoe defeated Jay Lethal to punch his ticket. This bout stole the show and was a great start. Post-Match, Low-Ki and Lethal and The Briscoes brawl in the ring and the announcers put over that the teams have now split the singles matches.

In another qualifier for the Survival of the Fittest, Alex Shelley defeated Kenny King. Shelley continues to motor forward, and now as a singles worker appears more dangerous than ever-before.

Cary Silkin is out next. He invites a number of workers to join him in the ring. War Machine, Jay Lethal, Best Friends, The End and others all come out. Silkin announces that next week we will see eighth ever Ring of Honor, Honor Rumble. 30-men will enter. The final four will all punch their ticket... and... the outright winner will gain the advantage of picking the pool they will compete in. He mentions that the losers of the Qualifying bouts (Kenny King, Jay Lethal and Mark Briscoe), will get to compete, but they will be entering the ring as the 1-2-3 entries.

In a Women of Honor tag bout: Nattie Neidhart and Kelly Klein defeated Tenille Dashwood and Mandy Leon. Leon and Dashwood never were on the same page and wound up arguing with each other, which cost them the bout.

In the Main Event, Chris Sabin and Marty Scurll defeated The Young Bucks as the match was ending a video played of Cody attacking Hangman Page and leaving him bloodied and beaten, he draped him in the Royalty t-shirt as the show went off air.

----------------------------------------------

In the next post I'll answer some of the comments from the PPV, I think there are a ton of good thoughts and ideas there. Definitely love the interaction.

I will also announce a new "feature" of sorts revolving around the pre-show (it's minor).

More to come! Session four of the prediction contest will revolve entirely around the Survival of the Fittest, and will start with the Honor Rumble. I will post a preview prior to the match.

Ring of Honor TV: Honor Rumble Preview and Honor Club Announcement

ROHWrestling.com Exclusive: Honor Rumble Preview

This week on Ring of Honor television 30-men will be stepping foot into the ring with the right to be one of the eight men participating in the Survival of the Fittest on the line. Our CEO, Cary Silkin, announced last week that even the three men who lost their qualifiers will be allowed to enter the bout, but that they will be the first three men in the ring. Those three men, Kenny King, Jay Lethal and Mark Briscoe will begin in the ring, with the remaining 27 wrestlers entering every 90 seconds. The only way to be eliminated is to be thrown over the top rope and land with both feet on the floor.

The outright winner of the Honor Rumble will get the advantage of picking his pool to compete in. Lastly the eighth and final spot will be a wild-card determined by the Ring of Honor competition committee. We can confirm that the participant who receives the Wild Card will come from the Honor Rumble as well!

With that in mind, here is an exclusive look at the first twenty-eight participants. In addition to these twenty-eight confirmed participants, ROHWrestling.com can exclusively announce here on the website that the final two "surprise" participants are both former Ring of Honor Champions!

Hints: The surprises are both former ROH Champions (note, it could be any belt past or present). The Wild Card will participate in the Honor Rumble but not place in the Top Four.

Ring of Honor Introduces: Honor Club

RTGjUjf.png

With the month of November, 2018, upon us, Ring of Honor is proud to introduce "Honor Club" the exclusive online streaming home of Ring of Honor's past and future! With your Honor Club membership you'll receive access to all of Ring of Honor's pay-per-views from 2003-2017 as well as archival footage from the best of 2018! In addition, Honor Club will become the new home to a monthly Future of Honor show and other exclusive footage, including matches featuring our own superstars competing across the globe with some of our partners.

-------------------------------------------------

Session Four of the prediction contest is underway!

I've launched the Honor Club as a diary feature and not an in-game feature (broadcaster), at least yet. I'll use the once monthly Honor Club post to feature our Pre-Show matches from the four TV shows in the month as well as highlight some of our guys as they wrestle for other companies abroad. I think it'll be a fun way to highlight some of the work the AI is doing with our guys, and will allow me to tell some of the stories of the other companies a little better. Plus it gives me a place to continue working out guys and letting them wrestle. Previously I'd been typing these up before the TV shows as ROHWrestling exclusives. That will likely now transition to the once-monthly post. Let's give it a try... If I ever make enough money I may launch the Honor Club as a broadcaster, but that's a LONG way away.

Now then, on to some commentary...

CobheadJake: TFC hit the nail on the head, this started prior to the current NJPW storyline, though I did really debate Hangman as the turning member... That said, it evens the score with Omega being a NJPW guy I use him very selectively.

The Final Countdown: I'm half-tempted to book WrestleKingdom for them just so I can accurately portray the story I want to have happen... If I do it, using the Honor Club will likely be a nice way for me to write it up in a very brief post.

DGenerationMC: Steel Cage Warfare you say.... Hmmmm............ Better tune in and see what happens!

Blodyxe: To be perfectly honest Silas leaving was a bit of a mistake, I forgot to renew him. I may resign him down the road, but I need something for him to do. I was originally thinking about him feuding with Beer City Bruiser, but that guy is so worthless.

Kijar: Definitely glad that it got that reaction, that was the goal... Now lets see if Shelley can win the Survival of the Fittest ;-).

I was originally planning the big Bullet Club vs. Royalty blow-off match for Final Battle, but I'm now going to run it at Survival of the Fittest as the Main Event. My reasoning is that Cody would otherwise not have a match there and that would be lame. Plus it'll allow Omega time to refocus on Naito.

The Survival of the Fittest will be three days, with the culmination on PPV. It will be two pools of four. Day One and Day Two will be the first two matches, with the PPV featuring the final four matches and the subsequent final. It'll take a bit of fancy booking...... but it'll work out just fine ;-).

Session Four Prediction Contest

Who Will Be The Two Surprise Entrants (2 Points, 1 Each) Was originally thinking you'd swerve with Jay Briscoe, but I'll say... Former WHC Davey Richards and I'm hoping Martel is right with former Pure Champion Doug Williams I feel like you could go wildcard with an Alex Koslov or Jimmy Jacobs or something.. we'll see. :D

Who Will Be The Other Three Finalists, and In Turn Qualify (3 Points, 1 Each) Dalton Castle, Jay White, Jay Lethal

Who Will Win The Honor Rumble (2 Points) You could probably go with... Punishment

Who Will Be Named The Survival of the Fittest Wild Card (1 Point) Rocky Romero
