Part of me really wanted to put Brutal Bob in here because I kinda of, sort of, knew him (He used to wrestle locally and I have had a few conversations with him, we were not friends or anything.) back in the early to mid 90's but I just can't.</p><p> </p><p>

<p>ROH TV, November 2018, Week 1: Special Edition (Honor Rumble)</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;"><span style="font-size:18px;">ROH TV, November 2018, Week 1</span></span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="44489" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p>We open the month of November with a Special Edition of Ring of Honor television. On tonight's episode the 30-man Honor Rumble returns and the final four men standing with punch their tickets to the Survival of the Fittest with the overall winner naming the two pools they'll compete in. As the announcers begin to run down the Honor Rumble and lay out the evenings plans, <strong>Royalty</strong>, led by <strong>Cody</strong>, make their way down to the ring. <strong>Cody</strong> has a message for <strong>Kenny Omega</strong> and the <strong>Bullet Club</strong>. First and foremost, <strong>Kenny Omega</strong> <span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>WILL NOT</strong></span> be getting a Ring of Honor World Championship opportunity. He's already had one, and as a non-permanent member of the roster, that's all he's entitled to. However, <strong>Cody</strong> and his <strong>Royalty</strong> mates will take on the <strong>Bullet Club</strong> at <strong>Survival of the Fittest</strong>. But this won't be just a normal fight. It'll be the fifth ever edition of <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Steel Cage Warfare</span></strong>. The first since 2013, and it'll be Four on Four. Cody drops the mic and the group walks out. <strong>Ian Riccaboni</strong> squeals with glee and quickly points out this must mean there is a fourth, wrestling, member of <strong>Royalty</strong> and we haven't met him yet! He confirms that main event at Survival of the Fittest will be the fifth ever edition of Steel Cage Warfare, <strong>Royalty vs. Bullet Club</strong>.</p><p> </p><p> Backstage we see Women of Honor champion <strong>Nattie Neidhart</strong>, she says she's promised to revamp the Women of Honor division and she's continuing by bringing in another Women who has made an impact all over the globe, <strong>Madison Rayne</strong>! Suddenly, <strong>Tenille Dashwood</strong> enters the screen and reminds <strong>Neidhart</strong> that this is "All About Me" ... She says that her loss at Global Wars was a minor setback, but by the end of the year she'll reign supreme. </p><p> </p><p> Back from commercial <strong>Dashwood</strong> is making her entrance for a Women of Honor bout with <strong>Mandy Leon</strong>. <strong>Dashwood</strong> makes relatively short work of <strong>Leon</strong>, forcing her to tap out.</p><p> </p><p> With that we go to a quick video highlighting the first three qualifiers for the Survival of the Fittest, <strong>Jay Briscoe, Low-Ki and Alex Shelley</strong>! As the package wraps up we see the first three entrants to the Honor Rumble, the losers of the first three Qualifiers, <strong>Jay Lethal, Kenny King and Mark Briscoe</strong>...</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><span style="font-size:14px;">Honor Rumble</span></span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p> With <strong>Lethal, King and Mark Briscoe</strong> in the ring we await the fourth participant and the start of the bout...</p><p> </p><p> BOOM BOOM...</p><p> </p><p> <iframe width="260" height="120" src="<a href="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Dj9urIvwRWk?rel=0&controls=0&showinfo=0" rel="external nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/embed/Dj9urIvwRWk?rel=0&controls=0&showinfo=0"</a> frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; The show of strength is a sight in the middle of the ring and he tosses <strong>King</strong> over the ropes. <strong>Romero</strong> looks to take advantage but <strong>Hammerstone</strong> pushes him aside and turns to face <strong>Chuck Taylor</strong>. <strong>Taylor</strong> comes at <strong>Hammerstone</strong> but is promptly tossed from the ring as the horn once again sounds.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Eliminated: Kenny King and Chuck Taylor</strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Frankie Kazarian</strong> makes his entrance at #12 and immediately joins his partner <strong>Romero</strong>.</p><p> <img alt="Cbw2583.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Cbw2583.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <em><span style="text-decoration:underline;">In-Ring: Jay Lethal, Mark Briscoe, Hammerstone, Rocky Romero, Frankie Kazarian</span></em></p><p> </p><p> With these five in the ring the battle turns into a five-man brawl for a the next five minutes, during which <strong>#13 Cheeseburger, #14 Jonathan Gresham, and #15 Odinson</strong> make their entrances.</p><p> <img alt="ZXteJld.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ZXteJld.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="sIemKyp.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/sIemKyp.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="5wIQJMM.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/5wIQJMM.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <em><span style="text-decoration:underline;">In-Ring: Jay Lethal, Mark Briscoe, Hammerstone, Rocky Romero, Frankie Kazarian, Cheeseburger, Jonathan Gresham, and Odinson.</span></em></p><p> </p><p> Now with eight men in the ring we see <strong>Romero and Kazarian</strong> square off with <strong>Odinson and Hammerstone</strong>, in another segment of the ring <strong>Jay Lethal and Mark Briscoe</strong> continue their long-brawl that has been on-going since the beginning of the bout. <strong>Cheeseburger and Jonathan Gresham</strong> meanwhile pop the crowd. The horn sounds again and at #16 here comes <strong>Damien "Punishment" Martinez</strong>. </p><p> <img alt="CQvreaf.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/CQvreaf.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> He immediately throws his hands around the necks of <strong>Cheeseburger and Gresham</strong> who gallantly try to fight him off but are both disposed of.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Eliminated: Cheeseburger and Jonathan Gresham</strong></p><p> <em><span style="text-decoration:underline;">In-Ring: Jay Lethal, Mark Briscoe, Hammerstone, Rocky Romero, Frankie Kazarian, Odinson, Damien "Punishment" Martinez</span></em></p><p> </p><p> The horn sounds again and at #17 here comes the <strong>"Warbeard" Hanson</strong>.</p><p> <img alt="TPXMrhF.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/TPXMrhF.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Hanson</strong> makes a straight beeline for <strong>Martinez</strong> and the two big men exchange massive blows. Meanwhile, <strong>Mark Briscoe</strong> goes to eliminate <strong>Jay Lethal</strong> and gets him over the ropes but <strong>Lethal</strong> skins the cat and slides back under. The horn sounds again and at #18, <strong>Dalton Castle</strong> comes out.</p><p> <img alt="DJeshS8.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/DJeshS8.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> With <strong>Castle</strong> in the ring he goes straight after <strong>Mark Briscoe</strong> and he and <strong>Lethal</strong> team up to make the elimination. With <strong>Briscoe</strong> on the floor he is livid and storms out. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Eliminated: Mark Briscoe</strong></p><p> <em><span style="text-decoration:underline;">In-Ring: Jay Lethal, Hammerstone, Rocky Romero, Frankie Kazarian, Odinson, Damien "Punishment" Martinez, Hanson, Dalton Castle</span></em></p><p> </p><p> The horn sounds and at #19 <strong>Matt Taven</strong> joins his peers <strong>The End</strong>. </p><p> <img alt="85QSprR.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/85QSprR.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Now holding a three on two advantage over <strong>SoCal Uncensored</strong>'s <strong>Frankie Kazarian and Rocky Romero</strong>. <strong>Jay Lethal and Dalton Castle</strong> now continued work together and they manage to eliminate <strong>Damien "Punishment" Martinez</strong>. Before <strong>Castle and Lethal</strong>'s partnership can be sealed <strong>Jay Lethal</strong> does what has to be done and connects with a swift dropkick from behind sending the party peacock crashing over the top rope........ But.... <strong>Castle's Boys</strong> have been hiding and they rolled out into a formed a human "shield" to prevent Castle's feet from touching the ground... <strong>Lethal and Hanson</strong> now engage in a battle and it was definitely a favorite in this bout as both men hit some signature spots. <strong>Lethal</strong>, devoid of most of his energy is tossed from the ring but as <strong>Castle</strong> begins to climb back in, <strong>Lethal</strong> hits him and lands on the apron. <strong>Castle</strong>'s boys this time can't save him as he hits the ground and dejectedly he has been eliminated. <strong>Dalton Castle</strong> has been eliminated mere minutes in. The horn sounds and at #20 <strong>Will Ospreay</strong> makes his entrance.</p><p> <img alt="OkoebUA.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/OkoebUA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Eliminated: Damien "Punishment" Martinez and Dalton Castle</strong></p><p> <em><span style="text-decoration:underline;">In-Ring: Jay Lethal, Hammerstone, Rocky Romero, Frankie Kazarian, Odinson, Matt Taven, Hanson, Will Ospreay</span></em></p><p> </p><p> The next set of eliminations saw <strong>The End and SoCal Uncensored 2.0</strong> exchange eliminations as <strong>Kazarian</strong> eliminated <strong>Odinson</strong>, but was then subsequently dispatched by <strong>Hammerstone</strong>, who in turn was booted by <strong>Rocky Romero</strong>... who in turn was eliminated by <strong>Matt Taven</strong>, this quick set of eliminations was a highlight, but <strong>Matt Taven</strong>'s success was short lived as <strong>Will Ospreay</strong> got him from behind and tossed him out.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Eliminations: Odinson, Kazarian, Hammerstone, Rocky Romero, Matt Taven</strong></p><p> <em><span style="text-decoration:underline;">In-Ring: Jay Lethal, Hanson, Will Ospreay</span></em></p><p> </p><p> With <strong>Jay Lethal, Hanson and Ospreay</strong> in the ring for the time being <strong>Ospreay and Lethal</strong> look to go after <strong>Hanson</strong> and even the size difference but before they can do battle the horn sounds and here comes #21 <strong>Bob Evans</strong>.</p><p> <img alt="lcn6Vtg.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/lcn6Vtg.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Bob Evans</strong> heads down to the ring and leads the crowd in "The Clap" and it seems to be contagious as <strong>Lethal, Hanson and Ospreay</strong> join <strong>Bob</strong> in a synchronized, comedy, clap. The horn sounds and #22 <strong>Shane Taylor</strong> heads down.</p><p> <img alt="z8LEixZ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/z8LEixZ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <em><span style="text-decoration:underline;">In-Ring: Jay Lethal, Hanson, Will Ospreay, Bob Evans and Shane Taylor</span></em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Taylor</strong> slides in and immediately ends the clapping, striking <strong>Evans</strong> with a sickening chop across the chest. The big man, lifts the equally big man and slams him down with a power slam. <strong>Taylor</strong> gets up only to be met by <strong>Hanson</strong> who has a full head of steam and connects with a rolling Viking Kick which sends <strong>Taylor</strong> stumbling and bumbling before <strong>Will Ospreay</strong> connects pulls the ropes down and sends him over the top-rope. <strong>Brutal Bob</strong> is back to his feet but wobbling and <strong>Ospreay</strong> claps for him... <strong>Lethal and Hanson</strong> begin clapping as well and The Clap continues to spread...</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Eliminated: Shane Taylor</strong></p><p> <em><span style="text-decoration:underline;">In-Ring: Jay Lethal, Hanson, Will Ospreay, Bob Evans</span></em></p><p> </p><p> Entrant #23 sees no laughing matter in The Clap as <strong>Vinny Marseglia</strong> makes his way down and immediately goes after <strong>Jay Lethal</strong>.</p><p> <img alt="IJqAdoA.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/IJqAdoA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Ospreay</strong> does what has to be done and eliminates <strong>Bob</strong>, politely but appropriately as <strong>Hanson</strong> rests up. #24 is on his way out and it is <strong>Flip Gordon</strong>.</p><p> <img alt="VskZOFh.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/VskZOFh.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Eliminated: Bob Evans</strong></p><p> <em><span style="text-decoration:underline;">In-Ring: Jay Lethal, Hanson, Will Ospreay, Vinny Marseglia and Flip Gordon</span></em></p><p> </p><p> Now with four smaller workers and <strong>Hanson</strong> in the ring the speed of the bout begins to pick-up. <strong>Ospreay</strong> continues his role and goes bouncing from corner to corner striking at will and leaving <strong>Marseglia</strong> in a daze and he tries to keep up. <strong>Flip Gordon</strong> goes after <strong>Hanson</strong> but <strong>Hanson</strong> bats him out of the sky and grounds him. <strong>Lethal</strong> takes a shot but <strong>Hanson</strong> again swats him down. The horn sounds and at #25 here is <strong>Raymond Rowe</strong>.</p><p> <img alt="P5BbpIx.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/P5BbpIx.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <em><span style="text-decoration:underline;">In-Ring: Jay Lethal, Hanson, Will Ospreay, Vinny Marseglia, Flip Gordon, Raymond Rowe</span></em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>War Machine</strong> is in the ring and as a unit they go for <strong>Lethal</strong>, but <strong>Flip</strong> makes the sacrifice and pushes <strong>Lethal</strong> out of the way, <strong>Lethal</strong> stumbles through the middle rope to the floor but isn't eliminated, the exhaustion of the bout and lasting for over 30 minutes so far has clearly impacted him as he appears to be out-cold on the floor. <strong>Flip</strong>'s sacrifice, though noble, led to his elimination as <strong>War Machine</strong> revved up and took him out... on the other side of the ring <strong>Will Ospreay</strong> eliminated <strong>Vinny Marseglia</strong>, who didn't do much to prove his value here...</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Eliminated: Flip Gordon, Vinny Marseglia</strong></p><p> <em><span style="text-decoration:underline;">In-Ring: Jay Lethal, Hanson, Will Ospreay, Raymond Rowe</span></em></p><p> </p><p> The horn sounds and #26 <strong>Josh Woods</strong> makes his way down.</p><p> <img alt="bjZ9QLL.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/bjZ9QLL.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Woods</strong> slides in and <strong>Ospreay</strong>, for a brief moment appears to have evened up the score against <strong>War Machine</strong>, but <strong>Josh Woods</strong> immediately goes after the smaller man and tries to make the elimination... <strong>Ospreay</strong> hangs on and <strong>War Machine</strong> comes charging, sending <strong>Josh Woods</strong> from the ring as <strong>Ospreay</strong> slides back in and rolls to the other side. He's back to his feet and <strong>War Machine</strong> faces him down. <strong>Ospreay</strong> is ready to take them on but before anything happens the horn sounds and #27 <strong>Beretta</strong> heads down and joins his fellow member of CHAOS in the ring. </p><p> <img alt="osDZUwf.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/osDZUwf.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Eliminated: Josh Woods</strong></p><p> <em><span style="text-decoration:underline;">In-Ring: Jay Lethal, Hanson, Will Ospreay, Raymond Rowe, Beretta</span></em></p><p> </p><p> With only three more men left to make an entrance the announcers begin to think of who can be left. <strong>War Machine and Ospreay/Beretta</strong> begin a solid program in the ring and no eliminations are made as <strong>#28 "Switchblade" Jay White</strong> makes his way down... </p><p> <img alt="3cvhWUO.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/3cvhWUO.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> He stops at <strong>Jay Lethal</strong>'s recovering body and tosses him back into the ring. Now all six men are in the ring. <strong>War Machine and Beretta/Ospreay</strong>'s battle continues and <strong>Jay White</strong> joins the fray, leaving <strong>Lethal</strong> to recover. The three on two beat-down begins to take place, but <strong>War Machine</strong> seems content to leave <strong>Ospreay and White</strong> be, and turn their attention to <strong>Beretta</strong>, as <strong>White and Ospreay</strong> begin exchanging crushing blows in the middle of the ring. <strong>Beretta</strong> is little match for <strong>War Machine</strong> as they eliminate him. Ring of Honor six-man tag champion <strong>Christopher Daniels</strong> and newly returned <strong>Austin Aries</strong> make up the final guys. As <strong>Aries</strong> enters the ring... all seven men back up to corners with <strong>Lethal and Ospreay</strong> in one, <strong>Daniels</strong> in another, <strong>White</strong> in yet another with <strong>War Machine</strong> in the final corner as <strong>Austin Aries</strong> was showered with streamers in the middle of the ring... Two Ring of Honor legends engaged in battle as two young stars <strong>Ospreay and White</strong> also exchange blows. <strong>War Machine</strong> meanwhile does what needs to be done and goes after <strong>Jay Lethal</strong>. <strong>Lethal</strong> musters enough energy to fight them off for a few seconds. <strong>Hanson and Rowe</strong> go for a double clothesline but <strong>Lethal</strong> manages to duck and <strong>Hanson and Rowe</strong> miss, <strong>Hanson and Rowe</strong> turn around and as they do <strong>Will Ospreay</strong> who was irish whipped by <strong>Jay White</strong> leapfrogs off <strong>Lethal</strong>'s back, poetry in motion, connecting squarely with <strong>Hanson</strong> who goes stumbling over the top rope.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Eliminated: Hanson</strong></p><p> <em><span style="text-decoration:underline;">In-Ring: Jay Lethal, Will Ospreay, Raymond Rowe, Jay White, Christopher Daniels, Austin Aries</span></em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rowe</strong>'s frustration leads him to go after <strong>White</strong>. <strong>Ospreay</strong> turns his attention to the brawl in the corner with <strong>Aries and Daniels</strong>, he goes full speed from corner to corner and connects with <strong>Aries and Daniels</strong> leaving them all in a heap in the corner. <strong>Rowe</strong>'s strikes connect loudly with <strong>White and Rowe</strong> makes the elimination.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Eliminated: Jay White</strong></p><p> <em><span style="text-decoration:underline;">In-Ring: Jay Lethal, Will Ospreay, Raymond Rowe, Christopher Daniels, Austin Aries</span></em></p><p> </p><p> Now down to five guys <strong>Jay Lethal</strong> is in bad shape and propped up in the corner. <strong>Raymond Rowe</strong> stands tall as <strong>Ospreay, Daniels and Aries</strong> have a three-way brawl. <strong>Lethal </strong>mustering perhaps his last bit of energy goes flying across the ring and connects with the threesome in the corner. <strong>Daniels</strong> falls to the right, <strong>Lethal</strong> falls straight down and <strong>Aries</strong> is draped precariously over the ropes. <strong>Ospreay</strong> took the least of the blow and he used that remaining energy to toss <strong>Aries</strong> to the floor, shockingly eliminating him.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Eliminated: Austin Aries</strong></p><p> <em><span style="text-decoration:underline;">In-Ring: Jay Lethal, Will Ospreay, Raymond Rowe and Christopher Daniels (All Four Qualify For the Survival of the Fittest)</span></em></p><p> </p><p> With four men left and all qualified for the <strong>Survival of the Fittest</strong> the bout now turns to see who will be making the pools. <strong>Lethal</strong>'s exhaustion leads him to being the first elimination as <strong>Ray Rowe</strong> easily lifts him over and out. But <strong>Rowe</strong> seemed to take his eyes off the endless energy of <strong>Will Ospreay</strong> who connects with a blow to the back and then manages to toss <strong>Rowe</strong> over the top. Leaving <strong>Will Ospreay and Christopher Daniels</strong> as the final two. <strong>Ospreay</strong>, having entered at #20, began wearing down and <strong>Daniels</strong> took advantage. The one-time Ring of Honor World Champion and Ring of Honor original hit the Angel's Wings and then lifted the limp body of <strong>Ospreay</strong>, winning the Honor Rumble outright!</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Eliminated: Jay Lethal, Raymond Rowe and Will Ospreay</strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Christopher Daniels wins the 2018 Honor Rumble and will have the right to make the polls for the Survival of the Fittest</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Ian Riccaboni and AJ Kirsch</strong> hype the phenomenal match-ups and say that exclusively at Ring of Honor's <strong><em>Honor Club</em></strong> we will be announcing the eighth, Wild Card, and Christopher Daniels will be make the two pools!</p><p> </p><p> What a night!</p></div><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> ----------------------------------------------------------------</p><p> </p><p> Up Next, Christopher Daniels will be naming the two pools and the cards for the Survival of the Fittest Day 1 and 2 will be posted! <p>Honor Club Exclusive: Pool Announcement for Survival of the Fittest</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="color:#FF0000;">Honor Club Exclusive: Survival of the Fittest Announcements </span></span></p></div><p></p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="RTGjUjf.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/RTGjUjf.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Our first-ever Honor Club exclusive programming kicks off with <strong>Ian Riccaboni and AJ Kirsch</strong> sitting at a table in front of an array of screens. They discuss the <em>Honor Rumble</em> and then play a five minute highlight package. Some of the highlights shown:</p><p> </p><p> </p><ul><li>The Return of <strong>Colt Cabana</strong><br /></li><li><strong>Will Ferrara</strong> avenging <strong>Rhett Titus</strong>' elimination<br /></li><li><strong>The End and SoCal Uncensored 2.0</strong>'s back and forth eliminations<br /></li><li><strong>Dalton Castle</strong> landing on <strong>The Boys</strong><br /></li><li>The Clap with <strong>Bob Evans</strong><br /></li><li><strong>Jay Lethal</strong> surviving multiple near-eliminations and making the final four<br /></li><li><strong>Will Ospreay</strong> leading way with the most eliminations<br /></li><li>The Surprise Return of <strong>Austin Aries</strong><br /></li><li>The Final Four: <strong>Raymond Rowe, Jay Lethal, Will Ospreay and Christopher Daniels</strong><br /></li><li>The Winner: <strong>Christopher Daniels</strong><br /></li></ul><p></p><p> </p><p> As the package wraps up <strong>Riccaboni</strong> mentions that <strong>Daniels</strong> will be with us later in the program to make the pool announcements. But first, let's send it to the ring of for an Honor Club, <em>Future of Honor Exclusive</em>. In our first ever Honor Club Future of Honor exclusive, <strong>The Boys (Brandon and Brent)</strong> defeated <strong>The North Star Express (Darin Corbin and Ryan Cruz)</strong>. <strong>Corbin and Cruz</strong> are a tag-team out of Minnesota who have been teaming together for a number of years, while they gave a good effort they were no match for <strong>The Boys</strong>.</p><p> </p><p> Back in the studio <strong>Riccaboni and Kirsch</strong> were joined by <strong>Christopher Daniels</strong>. <strong>Daniels</strong> discussed winning the Honor Rumble and what it would mean for his career to capture the Ring of Honor World Title once again. <strong>Riccaboni</strong> then lays out the format for the Survival of the Fittest. There will be two pools of four. Each man in a respective pool will face the other three and the wrestler with the most points will win his pool and face the opposing pools winner in the Survival of the Fittest finals. Two points will be awarded for a victory and one point for a draw.</p><p> </p><p> ROH CEO <strong>Cary Silkin</strong> joins us to announce the Wild Card. He begins by saying that this man is a former Ring of Honor champion... Before he can get further, <strong>Austin Aries</strong> joins the program and thanks <strong>Silkin</strong> for welcoming him back and giving him the Wild Card spot. After all he should have qualified but it took three men teaming up to eliminate him... <strong>Daniels</strong> looks smugly at <strong>Aries</strong>. <strong>Silkin</strong> takes the microphone back and says that <strong>Aries</strong> isn't the Wild Card... The Wild Card is the man who started 2018 as the Ring of Honor World Champion, <strong>Dalton Castle!</strong> <strong>Aries</strong> is livid and storms out of the studio. <strong>Cary Silkin</strong> then instructs <strong>Daniels</strong> to pick the pools.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Daniels</strong> deliberates and using a touch-screen places the competitors in their respective pools. As he finishes a graphic pops up showing the pools.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>Pool A</strong></span></p><p> </p><ul><li>Raymond Rowe<br /></li><li>Jay Lethal<br /></li><li>Jay Briscoe<br /></li><li>Will Ospreay<br /></li></ul><p></p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Pool B</span></strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>Christopher Daniels<br /></li><li>Dalton Castle<br /></li><li>Alex Shelley<br /></li><li>Low-Ki<br /></li></ul><p></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Kirsch</strong> asks <strong>Daniels</strong> for his commentary on why he picked the pools the way he did. He says that he's stacked Pool A with a bunch of guys who beat the living daylights out of each other and thusly leave the winner of that pool weakened for <strong>Daniels</strong> when he captures Pool B. <strong>Daniels</strong> thanks the hosts for their time but says he has other things to attend to and leaves.</p><p> </p><p> As <strong>Daniels</strong> leaves they segue into discussing the Main Event at Survival of the Fittest, <em>Steel Cage Warfare</em>, a match-up that will be returning to Ring of Honor for the first time in five years as <strong>Cody's Royalty</strong> will take on <strong>Kenny Omega's Bullet Club</strong> in a four on four elimination brawl, inside a steel cage. The match will start with one man from each team inside in the cage. These two men will do battle for five minutes. At the end of the five minutes a member of one of the teams will be randomly selected to enter the cage, therefore giving his team a brief advantage. This advantage will last for two minutes before the next competitor, representing the opposing team will enter. This will alternate in snake format until all eight men are in the ring.</p><p> </p><p> First Five Minutes: Team A1 vs. Team B1</p><p> Next Two Minutes: Team A1, A2 vs. Team B1</p><p> Next Two Minutes: Team A1, A2 vs. Team B1, B2</p><p> Next Two Minutes: Team A1, A2 vs. Team B1, B2, B3</p><p> Next Two Minutes: Team A1, A2, A3 vs. Team B1, B2, B3</p><p> Next Two Minutes: Team A1, A2, A3, A4 vs. Team B1, B2, B3</p><p> Next Two Minutes: All Competitors Eligible</p><p> </p><p> However at anytime during this match if a competitor is pinned or submits he'll be eliminated from the bout and therefore negate any potential advantages or exacerbate any disadvantages.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Riccaboni and Kirsch</strong> mention that we already know who the four members of Bullet Club are, <strong>Hangman Page, Nick Jackson, Matt Jackson</strong> and of course, <strong>Kenny Omega</strong>. But we only know three members of Royalty. ROH World Champion, <strong>Cody</strong>, ROH World Television Champion, <strong>Marty Scurll</strong> and not to be forgotten, <strong>Chris Sabin</strong>. They speculate on who the fourth member will be and say that they are sure <strong>Cody</strong> has a plan...</p><p> </p><p> The show wraps up with <strong>Riccaboni and Kirsch</strong> running down all eight competitors and announcing the cards for the first two nights of the televised <em>Survival of the Fittest</em>. They also announce these two shows will be 90 minute specials!</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="44489" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Survival of the Fittest Television Night One</span></strong><p> Pool A: Raymond Rowe vs. Jay Briscoe</p><p> Pool A: Will Ospreay vs. Jay Lethal</p><p> Pool B: Low-Ki vs. Alex Shelley</p><p> Pool B: Dalton Castle vs. Christopher Daniels</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Survival of the Fittest Television Night Two</span></strong></p><p> Pool A: Raymond Rowe vs. Jay Lethal</p><p> Pool A: Will Ospreay vs. Jay Briscoe</p><p> Pool B: Low-Ki vs. Dalton Castle</p><p> Pool B: Alex Shelley vs. Christopher Daniels</p></div></blockquote>

<p>ROH Television, Survival of the Fittest Night 1 and 2, November Week 2 and 3, 2018</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="44489" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="color:#FF0000;"><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>ROH TV, November Week 2, 2018</strong></span></span></p></div><p></p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><em>Survival of the Fittest Night One</em></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Xc6XxSY.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Xc6XxSY.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Our first night of the Survival of the Fittest got started right away with the first bout from the B Pool, <strong>Alex Shelley</strong> vs. <strong>Low-Ki</strong>. In a technical bout that went back and forth <strong>Alex Shelley</strong> scored the victory and the critical first two points.</p><p> </p><p> We then got a promo with <strong>Royalty</strong> discussing <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Steel Cage Warfare</span></strong> and what the four-on-four elimination bout will prove to the world. Wrestling's Royal "Family" will prove that they are the best in the world and that the <strong>Bullet Club</strong> will never be the Best In The World. </p><p> </p><p> In our second bout of the Survival of the Fittest we saw our first bout from the A Pool, <strong>Jay Lethal</strong> vs. <strong>Will Ospreay</strong>. Two of the best bets in the business went toe to toe and in the end it was <strong>Will Ospreay</strong> hitting the Os-Cutter and coming out on top with the victory.</p><p> </p><p> Backstage, <strong>The Young Bucks</strong> promise that the <strong>Bullet Club</strong> is fine and that Steel Cage Warfare will prove that the <strong>Bullet Club</strong> is better without traitors and that <strong>The Elite </strong>are exactly that... Elite.</p><p> </p><p> In a tag bout, <strong>Frankie Kazarian and Rocky Romero</strong> defeated <strong>The End</strong> (<strong>Hammerstone and Odinson</strong>). This bout was set-up based on the Honor Rumble, and post-match, knowing that <strong>Daniels</strong> was busy preparing for his match in the Survival of the Fittest, <strong>Matt Taven, Odinson and Hammerstone</strong> got some revenge and laid out the victors. <strong>Taven</strong> screamed that the 6-man belt would soon be <strong>The End</strong>'s and that this was just the beginning of a painful demise. </p><p> </p><p> In our second bout of Pool A, <strong>Jay Briscoe</strong> defeated <strong>Raymond Rowe</strong> in a violent, hard-hitting encounter that proved to be the match of the night. <strong>Rowe</strong> had a near pinfall and really showed that he can go as a singles guy if need be, but it was <strong>Jay Briscoe</strong> with his hand raised post-match.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Austin Aries</strong> made an appearance before the Main Event, he went on a rant saying that he debuted in Ring of Honor in 2004, and is a two-time Ring of Honor World Champion, but <strong>Cary Silkin</strong> didn't seem to think that was good enough to be the "<em>Wild Card</em>"... With that he joined the commentators for our Main Event,</p><p> </p><p> In the main event, and second Pool B bout, we had a utter disaster of a bout between <strong>Dalton Castle</strong> and <strong>Christopher Daniels</strong>. This match just didn't work. <strong>Daniels</strong> is on extreme time decline and showed here. <strong>Dalton Castle</strong> got the win with the Bang-A-Rang, but the overall match left a sour taste in everyones mouth. The show went off the air with <strong>Aries</strong> getting in the face of <strong>Castle</strong>, but ultimately backing down and walking away as the cameras faded out.</p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> ---------------------------------------------------------------------------</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="44489" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong><span style="font-size:18px;">ROH TV, November Week 3, 2018</span></strong></span></p></div><p></p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><em>Survival of the Fittest Night Two</em></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="0UoQ0WN.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/0UoQ0WN.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Night two of the Survival of the Fittest kicked off with Pool B and <strong>Dalton Castle</strong> (Two Points) facing <strong>Low-Ki</strong> (Zero Points). Same as last week, <strong>Austin Aries</strong> came down and joined commentary, keeping a close eye on <strong>Dalton Castle</strong> and saying that he has been facing the has-beens of Ring of Honor. <strong>Riccaboni</strong> tries to point out that<strong> Daniels and Low-Ki </strong>were both in Ring of Honor when <strong>Aries</strong> debuted, but <strong>Aries</strong> smugly rejects everything <strong>Riccaboni</strong> says. The match in the ring looked to be going <strong>Low-Ki'</strong>s way, but then <strong>Mark Brisco</strong>e made his way down to the ring and got in <strong>Low-Ki</strong>'s face on the ring apron. Last month <strong>Low-Ki</strong> qualified for the <em>Survival of the Fittest</em> by beating <strong>Mark Briscoe</strong> and this clearly didn't settle well with <strong>Mark</strong>. The distraction allowed <strong>Castle</strong> to take advantage and steal a win and put himself in the drivers seat. It also eliminated <strong>Low-Ki</strong> from the tournament, though he'll still have a night three bout on deck.</p><p> </p><p> Post-match, <strong>Low-Ki</strong> tries to chase <strong>Mark Briscoe</strong> to the back, but he is stopped by <strong>Jay Lethal</strong> who tells him that they will take care of things professionally and not to stoop to that level... <strong>Low-Ki</strong> seems to be ok with that answer.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Cody, Marty Scurll and Brandi Rhodes</strong> are seen, <strong>Brandi</strong> stands guard over their titles while <strong>Marty</strong> and <strong>Cody</strong> tell the camera that <strong>Chris Sabin</strong> is out tying up some loose ends and that the reinforcement has arrived.</p><p> </p><p> In the second Pool B bout <strong>Alex Shelley</strong> (2 Points) carried <strong>Christopher Daniels</strong> (0 Points) through the bout and scored the two points. At the <em>Survival of the Fittest</em> Pay-Per-View the third match in the pool between <strong>Alex Shelley and Dalton Castle</strong> will have direct implications in who will be in the finals later that night as they both have 4 points!</p><p> </p><p> Post-match, <strong>Matt Taven</strong> comes out and tells <strong>Christopher Daniels</strong> that <strong>The End</strong> is here and the end of his career will come at their hands. He practically begs for a title-shot for he and his crew but <strong>Daniels</strong> tells him <strong>SoCal Uncensored 2.0</strong> still runs the show and they don't respect <strong>The End</strong>. <strong>Daniels</strong> tells <strong>Taven</strong> that he's been disappointed in his performance here and frankly it has made him question how much he has left...so... if he can't score the victory over <strong>Low-Ki</strong> at Survival of the Fittest, and earn a mere two points, he'll grant <strong>The End</strong> their wish... But if he does win, then no title shot for them... <strong>Riccaboni</strong> adds that he's been told that if <strong>Low-Ki</strong> wins, ROH's competition committee will grant he and <strong>Jay Lethal</strong> a future Tag Title shot at <strong>The Briscoes</strong>.</p><p> </p><p> In the first Pool A bout of the night <strong>Jay Lethal</strong> (0 Points) faced <strong>Raymond Rowe</strong> (0 Points). <strong>Rowe</strong> once again proved he could hang with the best in the singles division, but again he fell just short against a former ROH World Champion.<strong> Lethal</strong> took him down with the Lethal Injection and scored the two points.</p><p> </p><p> Backstage we lay eyes on <strong>Madison Rayne</strong> stretching and doing her thing when suddenly <strong>Tenille Dashwood</strong> attacks her and beats her down. <strong>Dashwood</strong> tells <strong>Rayne</strong>, "This is all about ME! This is MY show, and this is my Women's Revolution... Not Yours"...</p><p> </p><p> In tag action <strong>The Young Bucks</strong> defeated <strong>Coast 2 Coast</strong> in a fun story-telling bout. As the match ended <strong>Chris Sabin</strong> walked down the aisle with <strong>Hangman Page</strong>'s noose in his hand...both <strong>Bucks</strong> turned to face <strong>Sabin</strong> and of course, a hulking mid-6-foot man, wearing jeans and a jacket with a hood and mask covering his face attacked the <strong>Bucks</strong> from behind with a <em>running lariat</em>,<strong> Sabin</strong> slides in and he and the <strong>masked man</strong> beat down <strong>The Young Bucks</strong> as security tries to get a hold of the action in the ring. <strong>Sabin and the masked man</strong> head up the ring and are joined at the top of it by <strong>Scurll and Cody... Royalty</strong>, now four men strong, leave the scene, stronger and bigger than ever, but we still don't know who the large masked man was.</p><p> </p><p> In the main event, and second pool A bout, <strong>Will Ospreay</strong> (2 points) took on <strong>Jay Briscoe</strong> (2 Points). This was a bout that had a lot riding on it, with the winner putting himself in the drivers seat. In a bit of a shock finish, <strong>Will Ospreay</strong> scored the win, hitting the Os-Cutter on <strong>Jay Briscoe</strong>.</p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="44489" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:18px;">Survival of the Fittest Night Three Pay-Per-View Preview</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p> The Survival of the Fittest concludes with the final four pool matches, followed by the Survival of the Fittest finals which we crown the winner of the Survival of the Fittest and grant the winner a shot at the ROH World Champion Cody at Final Battle.</p><p> </p><p> The pool round concludes with the final four bouts. In Pool A, <strong>Raymond Rowe</strong> (0 points) will look to score his first victory as he takes on <strong>Will Ospreay</strong> (4 Points). <strong>Ospreay</strong> merely needs a draw to guarantee his spot in the finals. <strong>Rowe</strong> is formally eliminated but he'll look to build on two solid appearances and play spoiler. Pool A will also see <strong>Jay Lethal</strong> (2 Points) taking on <strong>Jay Briscoe</strong> (2 Points). Both men fell victim to <strong>Will Ospreay</strong> and now will be forced into cheering for <strong>Raymond Rowe</strong> in the hopes that he can stop <strong>Ospreay</strong> and give the winner of <strong>Lethal/Briscoe</strong> a spot in the finals. ROH Officials would like to remind you that in the event of multiple competitors finishing with the same amount of points, both competitors will advance to the finals, so it is conceivable that we could see a triple threat or fatal-four-way final!</p><p> </p><p> In Pool B,<strong> Low-Ki </strong>(0 Points) and <strong>Christopher Daniels</strong> (0 Points) battle for pride as neither has scored a victory in the first two nights of the battle. <strong>Christopher Daniels</strong>, ever the master manipulator, has promised <strong>The End</strong> that if he doesn't win he'll grant them a shot at he and SoCal Uncensored's 6-man titles. But if he does win, then The End won't get a shot, meanwhile, <strong>Low-Ki</strong> has his own issues to worry about as <strong>Mark Briscoe</strong> cost him his last bout and will certainly be on the mind of<strong> Low-Ki </strong>during this one. Especially since with a win, <strong>Low-Ki and Lethal</strong> will get a shot at the <strong>Briscoes</strong> belts. In the other bout <strong>Alex Shelley</strong> (4 points) will take on <strong>Dalton Castle</strong> (4 points) with the winner guaranteed to fight again tonight in the finals of the Survival of the Fittest.</p><p> </p><p> After her assault on <strong>Madison Rayne</strong>, <strong>Tenille Dashwood</strong> will take her on in a Women of Honor bout that is bound to have ramifications towards the title race. The winner of the Survival of the Fittest will obviously challenge Cody, but the other seven guys all need some story direction and I think we are doing a nice job of getting there. He and Castle utterly bombed.</p><p> </p><p> Re Surprise Entrants for Honor Rumble: Doug Williams is too "old" for CEO Cary Silkin and was blocked... But he was a contender. I went with Cabana because his annoying theme was stuck in my head and I wanted someone for Ferrara and Titus to have a small story with... Austin Aries has always been a favorite and I thought about making him the fourth member of Royalty before deciding instead to go this direction. The Wild Card snub is a nice storyline that I could see him getting pissed about... I hope you agree. Jimmy Jacobs was another contender for Royalty... he is a Princess afterall. Instead,... well.... You'll see. He's been in Ring of Honor before, that's all I'll say.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="44489" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><strong><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><span style="color:#FF0000;">Survival of the Fittest Quick Picks (Session Four)</span></span></span></strong></strong><p> </p><ul><li>Pool A: Raymond Rowe (0) vs. Will Ospreay (4)<br /></li><li>Pool A: Jay Briscoe (2) vs. Jay Lethal (2)<br /></li><li>Pool B: Christopher Daniels (0) vs. Low-Ki (0)<br /></li><li>Pool B: Alex Shelley (4) vs. Dalton Castle (4)<br /></li><li>Finals: Pool A Winner or Pool B Winner (Since there is a potential this could be a 3 or 4 way just pick will the winner be from Pool A or Pool B)<br /></li><li>WOH #1 Contendership: Madison Rayne vs. Tenille Dashwood<br /></li><li>Steel Cage Warfare: Bullet Club (Kenny Omega, Hangman Page, The Young Bucks) vs. Royalty (Cody, Marty Scurll, Chris Sabin, ???)<br /></li></ul><p></p><p> </p><p> Bonus: Who will be revealed as the fourth member of Royalty?</p></div></blockquote>

<p>Man, I've never had a game where Daniels' decline wasn't slow as molasses, so that's a tough break. He has had a long go at it, great career. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p>

Ring of Honor Presents: Survival of the Fittest

Ring of Honor: Survival of the Fittest Pay-Per-View

Announcers: Ian Riccaboni and AJ Kirsch

Our show opens with Pool A's current leader, Will Ospreay taking on Raymond Rowe. Rowe has been a bit of revelation, despite failing to win a match so far in the Survival of the Fittest.

Will Ospreay (4 Points) vs. Raymond Rowe (0 Points)

OkoebUA.jpgkTDXWu3.jpgP5BbpIx.jpg

With a victory, Ospreay could punch his solo ticket to the finals. Back and forth this one went in the early going, Rowe held the power advantage and hit a number of power moves to weaken Ospreay but ultimately couldn't get the pinfall in this sequence. Ospreay made his comeback and went for the Os-Cutter, which has proven fatal for the majority of his opponents but this time Rowe caught Ospreay and threw him over his head sending Ospreay crashing into the mat. This shocking reversal proved to be enough for Rowe to capture his first victory, and force Ospreay into the waiting game to see if he'd be making the finals as a solo competitor or be forced into a triple threat.

Raymond Rowe (2 Points) defeated Will Ospreay (4 Points)

As Rowe heads up the ramp post-match, he is joined on the stage by his partner Hanson, and together they promise that 2019 will be the Year of War Machine!

Christopher Daniels (0 Points) vs. Low-Ki (0 Points)

IiF2KXD.jpgkTDXWu3.jpgxj4swgH.jpg

Christopher Daniels as a singles competitor might be showing his age and after winning the Honor Rumble he hasn't been able to score a victory in the Survival of the Fittest. Here, against Low-Ki, there was a bunch on the line as a victory for Low-Ki would set-up not one, but two, title matches for Final Battle. With a victory, Low-Ki and Jay Lethal will be granted the right to challenge the Briscoes, and with the subsequent loss, Christopher Daniels and his comrades at SoCal Uncensored 2.0 will be forced into a 6-man bout with The End and Matt Taven. Sure enough that came true as Low-Ki hit the Ki-Krusher and took the victory.

Low-Ki (2 Points) defeated Christopher Daniels (0 Points)

Matt Taven and The End come out post-match and taunt Daniels. This prompts Rocky Romero and Frankie Kazarian to run down and we get the subsequent 6-man brawl. Odinson and Hammerstone over-power the smaller team and hit the dueling Super Collider Powerbombs, and a Pounce that sent Daniels flying through the ropes. At Final Battle, SoCal Uncensored 2.0 will have a hell of the challenge...

Alex Shelley (4 Points) vs. Dalton Castle (4 Points)

xudhQ89.jpgkTDXWu3.jpgDJeshS8.jpg

In a bout that once again was underscored by some bad wrestling from Castle, Shelley and Castle went back and forth with many near falls, knowing that the winner would be competing in the finals. Both men have challenged, and in Castle's case held, the ROH World Title, but tonight it was Alex Shelley coming out on top, hitting the Sliced Bread #2 on Castle, and getting the pinfall and punching his ticket into the finals.

Alex Shelley (6 Points) defeated Dalton Castle (4 Points)

Post-match, Austin Aries makes his way down with a microphone and mockingly calls Dalton Castle, the Wild Card, he says that Ring of Honor clearly made a mistake in picking someone who couldn't win, and shouldn't be taken seriously. He says that he is here to stay and that Castle will learn why Aries is the Greatest Wrestler That Ever Lived!

Jay Briscoe (2 Points) vs. Jay Lethal (2 Points)

l8MTPbW.jpgkTDXWu3.jpgJNvytgY.jpg

A lot was on the line here as the winner of this bout will join Will Ospreay and Alex Shelley in the finals. There is absolutely no love between these two and this bout got off to a quick and physical start. With Lethal and his partner Low-Ki having already punched a ticket to face the Briscoes for the Tag Titles this was a preview of what was to come. The finish in this one saw Lethal and Briscoe exchanging fists in the center of the ring. They then both turned and ran into the ropes to build momentum... as they came at each other at full-speed they knocked heads and sent each other to the mat... Todd Sinclair began the 10 count.

Briscoe and Lethal both are beginning to stir and using the ropes to try and get back up...

Lethal has the advantage and is now standing, albeit wobbling...

9

Sinclair walks over to check on Lethal and as he does Lethal cannot focus on Sinclair and gives him no choice but to finish the count...

10

Briscoe is on his feet but Sinclair has called for the bell... Briscoe seems to think he has won the match and he is standing, and Lethal has collapsed back to the mat...

Bobby Cruise, upon consulting with Todd Sinclair makes the announcement...

This contest has been ruled a DRAW... Neither competitor successfully answered the 10 count... Both men will receive one point...

Jay Briscoe is livid and lifts Jay Lethal's dazed body... Low-Ki comes flying down the ramp and tackles Briscoe and begins pummeling him, here comes Mark Briscoe down the ramp to save his brother and he and Low-Ki begin exchanging blows in the middle of the ring. Security jumps into the ring and pulls both men apart, saving the bout for another day.

Jay Briscoe (3 Points) and Jay Lethal (3 Points) fought to a draw when neither man answered the referees ten count.

Ian Riccaboni points out that because of this, it will be Will Ospreay taking on Alex Shelley in a one on one bout in the finals. He says that bout will take place immediately after the Women of Honor bout that is next.

Madison Rayne vs. Tenille Dashwood

D0mc81P.jpgkTDXWu3.jpg8G0Deji.jpg

Madison Rayne's Ring of Honor debut was interrupted by Tenille Dashwood, who over the last month has set out to prove that the division is all about her. She hasn't exactly succeeded, losing to Nattie Neidhart at Global Wars, but here she was able to prove her strengths in the ring, forcing Madison Rayne to tap out to the modified Muta Lock that she is now calling the Me Lock.

Tenille Dashwood defeated Madison Rayne

Nattie Neidhart comes out and tells Tenille that she came here to revamp this division and she is proud of the direction it is going... but she won't stand for blindside assaults. She says she knows Tenille is selfish, but that she also knows she's a world-class worker... She respects her... and at Final Battle she'll give Tenille another shot at the title.

Survival of the Fittest Finals

Alex Shelley (Pool B Winner) vs. Will Ospreay (Pool A Winner)

xudhQ89.jpgkTDXWu3.jpgOkoebUA.jpg

The finals of the Survival of the Fittest staked Alex Shelley against Will Ospreay in a bout that was sure to highlight the speed and skills of both men. These two have become close friends over the last few months with Ospreay coming to Shelley's aid during his feud with former partner Chris Sabin. Earlier tonight, Shelley did battle with Dalton Castle but cruised through the Pool without a loss. Ospreay meanwhile looked to have Raymond Rowe on the ropes earlier tonight, but wound up feeling the power that Rowe has and took the loss. The physical toll of that battle was apparent early as Ospreay was slowed and appeared to be worn-down. Shelley took advantage of this early and hit a number of moves designed to further weaken, and clip the wings of his aerial assassin opponent. Ospreay bounced back though and had a solid comeback sequence, but he was struck down again by Shelley. Shelley allowed Ospreay to recover a bit but never really let him back into the bout, cutting him down again and again until he hit the Sliced Bread #2 not once, but twice, and made the cover to get the win, win the tournament and punch his ticket to the Main Event at Final Battle.

Alex Shelley defeated Will Ospreay to win the 2018 Survival of the Fittest

As Shelley was presented with the trophy, he embraced Will Ospreay and told the audience that Ospreay is the future of Ring of Honor. He said he knows that Ospreay will one day carry the brand and he's proud to call him a friend and ally. Ospreay then took the microphone and put over Shelley, calling him a resilient and skilled fighter who will capture the ROH World Title from Cody at Final Battle.

Steel Cage Warfare

Bullet Club vs. Royalty

vNNHqQo.jpgkTDXWu3.jpg61wS1Tj.jpg

The steel cage slowly lowered from the ceiling of the arena. As it locked into place, referee Todd Sinclair opened the door and Hangman Page and Chris Sabin made their respective entrances...

Ian Riccaboni reminded us that the first five minutes of this bout would see Sabin and Page going one on one. The bell rang and Page went right after Sabin, striking him with a quick blow. He sent him into the cage and clearly enraged began raking his face across the steel. Sabin swung his arms wildly and connected with an elbow across the ear of Page sending him back toward the ring. Sabin lifted Page and spit in his face before hitting a DDT in the middle of the ring. Sabin continued to control bout as the countdown began and the horn sounded... Marty Scurll was the second man out, giving Royalty the two-on-one advantage. Scurll entered the ring and he and Sabin began to work Page over further. Page fought back though and managed to stave off the two-on-one beatdown. Scurll went for an irish whip but Page reversed it, sending Scurll right into Sabin. The horn sounded and wasting no time Nick Jackson came running down, but rather than entering through the door he immediately climbed the cage and stood on top of it... as Sabin and Scurll looked up Nick Jackson came flying from above, taking both men, and his own partner, Page down. Page appeared to land a bit awkwardly and his knee gave out... Nick Jackson took himself out as well and in the carnage we see that Chris Sabin's arm was draped over Page... 1-2-3, Sinclair counted to 3 and Page has been eliminated...

Eliminated: Hangman Page

With the elimination Nick Jackson is now alone again, but not for long as his brother, Matt Jackson is the next to enter the ring. The Young Bucks are in the ring and Sabin and Scurll are both still recovering from the blow they took from Nick Jackson when he entered. Matt and Nick targeted Sabin, and they sent him into the cage.... SUPERKICK. Sabin stumbled back into the ropes and Nick Jackson came at him at full speed, cross body sent him bouncing off the ropes and laid out cold in the middle. Matt Jackson bounced up the ropes and hit a 450 splash... He covered Sabin...

Marty Scurll makes the save. Scurll engaged Matt Jackson but Nick Jackson made the save and Scurll was subjected to a two on one assault... the horn sounded and AJ Kirsch mentioned that this entrant would be the enforcer who debuted last night....

The enforcer came out in a Royalty zip-up hoodie, but quickly ripped it off, revealing himself to be....

T053M2E.jpg....

Davey Boy Smith Jr.

Riccaboni mentioned that Smith Jr was last seen in Ring of Honor over a year ago when he and then partner Lance Hoyt, the Killer Elite Squad, visited... Smith Jr entered the cage and immediately went to work on both Young Bucks... The now three on two advantage came into play as they beat down Matt and Nick Jackson. Smith hitting a vintage Bulldog Powerslam in the middle of the ring on both Matt and Nick... rather than covering them though the Royalty team both Young Bucks out cold in the middle of the ring as the horn sounded and out came the final member of Royalty. The Ring of Honor World Champion, Cody.

Cody made his way down to the ring and the four members of Royalty embraced in the middle of the ring... The pompously made covers on both Young Bucks...

Both Nick and Matt manage to kick out...

Cody is infuriated and goes to lift Nick Jackson up for a Silver Spoon DDT, but Nick manages to slide out and connect with a Super Kick to Chris Sabin... Cody turns... Super Kick... Matt counters a move from Scurll... Super Kick to Smith.... Scurll comes at him... Super Kick.... The Young Bucks are having a Super Kick Party and all four Royalty members are feeling the effects... The clock ticks down... Matt and Nick both climb the cage... they stand on opposite corners...... The horn sounds and here comes Kenny Omega....

The four members of Royalty are all recovering and bracing against each other in the middle of the ring, arms intertwined. Omega comes down and the camera pans to Cody's face staring directly at Omega... Omega points to the top of the cage and as the members of Royalty look up.... here come both Bucks from each corner....

Oh MY.......

The fans chant in unison

Holy S*** Holy S***, Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson just soared from 15 feet up and landed squarely on-top of all four members of Royalty.... all six men are down as Kenny Omega enters the ring... He looks at Davey Boy Smith Jr.... V Trigger square to the skull....

Kenny Omega has been in the ring for a mere 20 seconds and he's already eliminated half of Royalty... Scurll, Cody and The Jacksons are all stirring as Omega hypes up the crowd... Scurll and Cody both roll toward the left-most corner... Omega picks both Bucks up.... they One-Sweet each other and go running... Cody and Scurll move out of the and The Elite brigade collide with the corner and the cage. Briefly dazing them and allowing Cody to start barking instructions at Brandi on the outside. Brandi grabs the Championship Ring from the timekeeper and hands it to Cody through the cage... Cody feints injury and drops to a knee as Nick Jackson turns his attention toward Cody. Meanwhile, Scurll squares off with Matt Jackson and Omega... In one corner Nick Jackson runs at Cody, only to be met by the ring squarely across the bridge of the nose....... In the other corner Omega and Matt Jackson double-team Scurll with Omega lifting Scurll for a One-Winged Angel and then Matt Jackson jumping off the ropes to assist the completion of the move....A modified Meltzer if you will.

They both cover Scurll.... completely unaware that Cody has covered Nick Jackson in the other corner.... Todd Sinclair counts...

Matt and Kenny get-up after eliminating the Television Champion... Cody does the same... all three men look confused and Paul Turner, the second referee at ringside, confers with Sinclair. They determine that both Scurll and Nick Jackson are eliminated...

Eliminated: Marty Scurll and Nick Jackson

As Matt Jackson and Kenny Omega come to realize what has just happened, Cody realizes he's now in for a 2-on-1 battle...

Matt Jackson and Kenny Omega back Cody into the corner... Cody tosses his hands up begging for leniency... Omega and Jackson will have none of it and they jointly place boots to gut toppling Cody into the corner... Omega backs away as Matt Jackson holds Cody to the corner.... Cody's right hand, still clad with the championship ring, is draped over the rope.... Omega comes charging but Cody manages to swing the right hand and connects with Omega flush... Omega topples over and is down on the mat.

Matt Jackson strikes Cody and takes control, raking his face along the cage. Cody is prone in the middle of the ropes... Matt comes toward him but Cody slides out of the way, sending Matt flying into the cage and crashing hard to the mat... Cody rolls him over and locks in the American Nightmare Lock... Omega is beginning to stir as Matt Jackson tries to not tap out... Omega is up to a knee but Matt Jackson has no choice, he taps out.

Eliminated: Matt Jackson

Omega and Cody are the final two standing. The Steel Structure surrounding them... Cody, still wearing the ring, looks at Omega, kisses the ring and takes it off, handing it Sinclair for safe keeping... this will be a good, ole' fashioned slobberknocker.

Omega and Cody tie-up in the middle of the ring, Omega makes the first move, connecting with a knee strike to the chest of Cody. Both men are already worn down from the bout but this has the urgency and feeling of an instant classic. Omega lifts Cody above his head into a suplex position but Cody strikes with a knee and wiggles out of it. He pulls Omega down by the hair and slams him into the mat. He lifts Omega and takes him into the corner... Cody hits a tornado DDT and then climbs the turnbuckle... Cody looks at Omega prone on the ground and goes for a moonsault... but Omega moves out of the way sending Cody into the mat with no pay off.

Omega is to his feet... he points the finger guns at Cody who is up to a knee... and here he comes.... V Trigger... Connects flush with Cody's skull. Cody wobbles and goes down... Omega lifts Cody up onto his shoulders...but somehow, someway Cody slides off the back of Omega. Omega turns around and Cody wildly swings, Cody misses and Omega locks a sleeper-hold in... he begins to rub his arms across the eyes, a maneuver he calls the Chainsaw Arms as Cody screams bloody murder. Omega tries to tighten the grip but Cody connects with a low-blow, lifting his leg up between Omega's. Omega is down on a knee... Cody musters up the energy now... Disaster Kick... lands squarely. Omega is down... Cody lifts him... Cross Rhodes... Omega is out-cold in the center of the ring but Cody wants more... he climbs the turnbuckle.... but doesn't stop there... all the way to the top of the cage... Cody stands tall a top the structure....... Oh my.... MOOOOOONNNNNNSAULT from the top of the cage... he lands on Omega... Cody is out, Omega is out, but Cody is on top of Omega...

The bell rings, the cage lifts, Royalty is successful, they've defeated the Bullet Club and Ring of Honor's World Champion once again has proven why he is one of a kind... What a match. Sabin, Scurll and Smith Jr lift their hero and Royalty celebrates over the body of Omega as we go off the air.

Royalty defeated Bullet Club in a Steel Cage Warfare, Total Elimination Match, Cody was the final man standing.

Post-Show Notes:

I debated a number of different solutions for the fourth member of Royalty, and took Davey Boy when I noticed he was without a partner in NJPW. Suzuki-Gun has basically died over there as Minoru retired, and they didn't resign Taka. Lance Archer/Hoyt is out for the year with an injury so then I saw Davey Boy as a logical fit for this wrestling "Royalty" group.......yes I'm aware he and Nattie are cousins, that may or may not play in as I develop this. ZSJ was another guy I debated... and I still might add him to ROH at some point, maybe even as part of the group... who knows...

Hangman Page suffered a Torn LCL during the bout... he's out for a bit. Which actually works well since the Young Bucks will now be able to run on their own.

We are over a month away from Final Battle and we already know four title bouts.

Cody vs. Shelley, Low-Ki/Lethal vs. Briscoes, Nattie vs. Tenille and The End/Taven vs. SoCal Uncensored 2.0... I'm happy about that. We also can infer Aries vs. Castle... Definitely cool with longer-term build-ups to the end of the year show!

Ryback was an interesting choice, one I hadn't thought of, and frankly CobheadJake nailed it, doesn't fit the ethos of ROH in my mind. Darren Young (AKA Fred Sampson) has been cruising the Indies and putting up decent ratings... but at 39 he didn't fit the group well enough for me. I've always liked Magnus/Aldis and he'd actually be a realistic choice for the enforcer type role. My fear with Sandow is that he becomes the focal point/main talker of the group (although now that I say that, it worked for Scott Hall as a support guy)... hmm. He is currently with Rival Lucha Underground, damn... Hero made the main roster! He's an opener, but he's on the main show!

Our hosts, <strong>Ian Riccaboni and AJ Kirsch</strong>, join us on the screen and announce that tonight we'll have a group of matches, highlights and exclusives from around the world... With that we kick it out to the first match.</p><p> </p><p> In our opening bout, <strong>Will Ferrara</strong> shocked the world and defeated <strong>Colt Cabana</strong>. <strong>Cabana</strong>'s return to ROH at the Honor Rumble was a fun surprise, but he was unceremoniously dumped from the match by <strong>Will Ferrara</strong>. After the match, <strong>Cabana</strong> told <strong>Ferrara</strong> that he was calling out "<strong>The Dawgs</strong>" for our Honor Club Main Event, and he had just the partner in mind...</p><p> </p><p> Our first Women of Honor exclusive bout saw <strong>Madison Rayne</strong> defeat <strong>Deonna Purrazzo</strong>. She won with the Big Boot to the face, and showed us why, despite taking the loss at Survival of the Fittest, she'll be a competitor worth keeping an eye on.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Riccaboni and Kirsch</strong> walked us through some highlights from the Survival of the Fittest next. The highlighted the following...</p><p> </p><p> </p><ul><li>Raymond Rowe scoring his first victory with an explosive reversal on Will Ospreay<br /></li><li>Jay Lethal and Jay Briscoe going to a draw and a Skull-Crunching collision; Kirsch made sure to point out that these two, along with their respective partners would be doing battle at Final Battle next month<br /></li><li>Low-Ki defeating Christopher Daniels, which set-up The End vs. SoCal Uncensored 2.0 for Final Battle<br /></li></ul><p></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Kirsch and Riccaboni</strong> reminded us to stick around as later tonight they'd recap the Steel Cage Warfare bout.</p><p> </p><p> Up next we saw the "Clap" make its way back into the ROH ring as <strong>"Brutal" Bob Evans</strong> scored a rare victory over <strong>"Wild Horse" TK O'Ryan</strong>. Bob is a mentor to a lot of these younger guys, and his dark charisma is entertaining us. He'll likely be a frequent fixture on these Honor Club exclusives. TK O'Ryan on the other hand has had a rough 2018. After winning the 6-man tag titles in 2017 with The Kingdom, O'Ryan missed a significant amount of time with a severe leg injury. He returned in late 2017 and really never found his footing in 2018. After The Kingdom was forced to disband we've seen TK O'Ryan loosely affiliated with Caprice Coleman and Shane Taylor, but they weren't seen with him here.</p><p> </p><p> In a fun, comedy bout, <strong>Cheeseburger</strong> defeated <strong>Ultimo Maya</strong>. Maya is a lucha-influenced high flyer with a good look, but ultimately ROH Dojo Assistant Trainer, Cheeseburger got the win here!</p><p> </p><p> They then ran us through the ratings from the pay-per-view:</p><p> </p><ul><li>Raymond Rowe defeated Will Ospreay ©<br /></li><li>Low-Ki defeated Christopher Daniels (D+)<br /></li><li>Alex Shelley defeated Dalton Castle (D+)<br /></li><li>Jay Lethal drew Jay Briscoe (B-)<br /></li><li>Tenille Dashwood defeated Madison Rayne (D+)<br /></li><li>Alex Shelley defeated Will Ospreay ©<br /></li><li>Steel Cage Warfare (C+)<br /></li></ul><p></p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Overall: C+</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> In our next exclusive bout Royalty's <strong>Chris Sabin and Davey Boy Smith Jr</strong> absolutely annihilated two "Future of Honor" competitors in <strong>"Iron" Shane Mercer and Kriss Stark</strong>. Mercer and Stark are both potential 2019 Top Prospect Tournament contenders, but neither got much in during this one. The announcers used this to hype the strength of Royalty.</p><p> </p><p> Up next, we saw an Honor Club exclusive highlight package featuring "Best Friends" <strong>Beretta and Chuckie T</strong> and highlighting some of their victories during the recent NJPW Lightning Tour and NJPW Power Struggle. It started with Power Struggle where despite their best efforts they couldn't defeat the ROH Tag Champion <strong>Briscoe Brothers</strong>! As it transitioned we found out that recently the Best Friends have teamed with <strong>David Finlay Jr</strong> to form "<em>Bestest Friends</em>" and during the tour they captured the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Titles! As part of our partnership with NJPW, we were able to air the victory. In this bout <strong>Beretta, Taylor and Finley</strong> defeated <strong>Taichi and Roppongi 3K</strong> to capture the NEVER Openweight Six-Man titles. It was a fun, comedy, filled back and forth bout and it showcased some of the skills that Beretta and Chuckie T haven't been able to showcase here in ROH.</p><p> </p><p> In our Honor Club Exclusive Main Event we saw <strong>Colt Cabana</strong> exact his revenge on <strong>The Dawgs</strong>, by teaming with <strong>Flip Gordon</strong>. Flip got the pin for the team, defeating Rhett Titus. This small feud appears to be just beginning and it's a nice way for us to integrate some of our forgotten talent!</p><p> </p><p> The final segment featured a recap of the Steel Cage Warfare bout. <strong>Cody</strong> and <strong>Omega</strong>'s ended sequence was highlighted, as were the insane high-spots that were featured throughout the bout. Kirsch and Riccaboni sign off, reminding us that we are only one month away from Final Battle!</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p></div></blockquote><p> ---------------------------------------------------------------------------</p><p> </p><p> As I've mentioned, I've been tinkering with the Honor Club concept. The bouts here are all from the pre-shows during the November TV tapings and Survival of the Fittest PPV. I think it's a good way to utilize the bottom rung of the card and have some small storylines (likely Women and things like The Dawgs/Cabana). I am also using it to test out tag pairings and future stars... I've mixed in the PPV match ratings (previously in the body of the PPV post), and some commentary. As well as every month I'll add a match or two or update from one of our partners. This month it was The Best Friends in NJPW.</p><p> </p><p> It's a bit of a throw-away post, but it can be used to highlight a lot of things. I'm planning on doing one prior to each PPV as a preview show (it'll include some Pre-Show or Honor Club Exclusive bouts) and a one after each PPV as a post-PPV show. It's inspired by the old-school WCW Worldwide or WWE Jakked/Metal shows.</p><p> </p><p> In the future I can update anyone on guys from around the globe, or companies from around the globe.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Let me know if you think this has value.</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> Lastly, I found the intro video today while on r/ squaredcircle. It was created by a gentleman named Robbie Green, the full size clip is here: </p><div class="ipsEmbeddedVideo"><div><iframe width="200" height="113" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/7gfZosrGWQQ?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" title="Ring Of Honor | Broadcast Opener Concept"></iframe></div></div>

I dig it. You could also use it for figuring out which match was the best that month, feature the in-game "who's hot and not" and so on. Xplosion in TNA had some wrestlers talking alongside, that would probably help develop their mic skills in the game. I once tried an interview set up with Bryan Alvarez to hype upcoming shows, but I dropped it cause I'm lazy :p

ROH TV, November Week 4 and December Week 1

ROH TV, Week 4, November 2018

AiOfCD3.png

Fresh off the Survival of the Fittest, AJ Kirsch and Ian Riccaboni joined us at ringside, our recently crowned Survival of the Fittest Tournament winner, Alex Shelley was out first. The announcers hyped up the victory and the fact that at Final Battle he will do battle with Cody for the ROH World Title. But tonight he does battle with Jonathan Gresham. Shelley dispatches Gresham relatively easily but clearly this was to build-up the Final Battle bout as Cody and Royalty were out immediately after the bout to mockingly applaud Shelley. Like vultures they circled the ring before all four men jumped onto the apron and attacked Shelley. As the beat down began... Will Ospreay came flying out and gave it his all to dispatch Royalty, he managed to clothesline Scurll from the ring but Smith Jr got him from behind and lifted him... As he did, Nick and Matt Jackson came down the aisle and entered the ring. At this point The Young Bucks, Will Ospreay and Alex Shelley have now evened the scored with Royalty. As the Bucks cleared the ring and Cody and company headed back up the aisle. This battle clearly is just beginning...

Back from break "Switchblade" Jay White was out. He easily defeated Vinny Marseglia, planting him in the middle of the ring with the Blade Runner. White is always a threat and the announcers hype that he's looking at a big 2019, as they do that... K...I...N...G... KING, Kenny King's theme blasts out and the cocky bachelor comes out to cut a promo calling White a fly-by-nighter and not a loyal Ring of Honor soldier. He says guys like White come and go, but the King of the night is here to stay. He tells Switchblade that at Final Battle, Kenny King will break the blade.

We cut to the back where Austin Aries has arrived. The cameraman asked him if he had anything to say and Aries, as always, was happy to oblige. He called Dalton Castle a waste of space and a pathetic figure. He said that the fans supported Castle because they felt sorry for him. He said tonight he wanted to show Dalton how weak he was... and in order to do that he said that he, Austin Aries, would face both Boys in a handicap match.

In a Women of Honor tag bout, Scarlett Bordeaux and Deonna Purrazzo defeated Madison Rayne and Kelly Klein when Klein walked out on Rayne and left her in a handicap-style bout. Post-match Nattie Neidhart came out to both congratulate the winners and scold Kelly Klein for her act of cowardice... before she could finish Tenille Dashwood was out to tell Nattie that she would capture the belt and reshape the division as a whole.

We then got a promo hyping the Briscoes and Low-Ki/Jay Lethal's impending tag bout at Final Battle. It was hyped as a once-in-a-generation bout that will see four of the near-original members of ROH doing battle over the ROH Tag Titles.

War Machine, fresh off Raymond Rowe's strong showing at the Survival of the Fittest, quickly and easily dispatched of Damien "Punishment" Martinez and BJ Whitmer. Whitmer took the majority of the damage and Punishment had limited interest in helping Whitmer out of the ring post-bout. Perhaps signaling the end of their relationship.

Backstage Cody cut a promo about how Alex Shelley today is the same Alex Shelley he has defeated before. He says next week the lieutenants of Royalty will step up. It'll be a 6-man tag bout main event as Royalty takes on the Young Bucks and Will Ospreay... And at Final Battle, Royalty will continue to reign supreme when Cody takes out Alex Shelley.

In the main event Austin Aries toyed with The Boys before making Brent Tate tap out to the Last Chancery. He held the hold until Dalton Castle stepped in and chased Aries from the ring. As the show went off the air Castle said that Aries was a washed-up has been, seeking to recapture his own lost glory. And at Final Battle, Castle would send him back to the unemployment line!

ROH TV, December Week 1, 2018

kVbQxQP.png

This weeks episode opened with a bout featuring a member from each side of the Six-Man title bout that will occur at Final Battle. Matt Taven, representing The End, and Frankie Kazarian representing the champions, SoCal Uncensored 2.0. This bout was a bit of a let-down for the opener but Kazarian took home the victory for the champions side.

We get a promo video with the Briscoes. It plays highlights of their battles with both Jay Lethal and Low-Ki over the last 15 years in Ring of Honor. It highlights that Jay Briscoe made his debut with Ring of Honor on February 23rd, 2002. It mentions that the Briscoes first faced off with Lethal in 2003 and that they first faced off with Low-Ki in 2004. They mentioned that this is what Ring of Honor is all about. Pride and Glory, and that at Final Battle they will stand there and show both Low-Ki and Jay Lethal the respect they deserve... they'll shake their hands in the middle of the ring... and then they'll give the fans the brawl they expect... At Final Battle, It'll be the Briscoe Brothers, defending against Low-Ki and Jay Lethal in a Last Team Standing Bout. Tornado Tag rules... the only way to win is to both members of the opposing team to be unable to answer the 10 count.

Back in the ring we see a Women of Honor bout, fresh off the deception of Kelly Klein abandoning her, Madison Rayne scores a victory over Mandy Leon. The announcers hype that next week Rayne will team up with Nattie Neidhart to face Tenille Dashwood and Kelly Klein.

Backstage, War Machine is seen getting ready...the camera pans back to see Red Balloons, with the words "Horror King" on them in the corner of the room... We hear a light laughter and as the cameraman...

In our television main event Will Ospreay and The Young Bucks took on Davey Boy Smith Jr, Chris Sabin and Television Champion Marty Scurll. The bout went back and forth and was a hell of a television bout. The finish saw Ospreay plant Scurll with the Os-Cutter and the Young Bucks engage in a ringside brawl with Smith and Sabin. Ospreay made the cover and beat the TV champ... Alex Shelley celebrated with his new found allies in the ring post-match but was confronted by Cody in the middle of the ring. The two men stared each other down and the announcers hyped a contract signing for next week as we went off the air.

<p>ROHWrestling.com Exclusive: Injury Leaves Royalty Shorthanded</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">ROHWrestling.com Exclusive: Injury Leaves Royalty Short-Handed</span></strong></span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Mere days after wrapping our last television taping, <strong>Davey Boy Smith Jr</strong>, was back in New Japan Pro Wrestling representing <em>Royalty</em> and facing off with <strong>Tanga Roa</strong> in a non-televised bout. Unfortunately during this bout <strong>Smith Jr</strong> sustained a serious leg injury and will be out for the next 6-8 months. Ring of Honor officials wish <strong>Smith Jr</strong> the speediest and healthiest recovery possible...</p><p> </p><p>

Our own correspondent caught up with <strong>Cody</strong> en route to the next ROH Television event. <strong>Cody</strong> said that <strong>Royalty</strong> is a world brand and <strong>Davey Boy</strong> was in the ring representing the brand with pride. He points out that <strong>Davey Boy</strong> still won the match. He says <strong>Royalty</strong> will continue to conquer the globe, and that this is only a small blip in the bigger picture. He says the loss of the Enforcer of <strong>Royalty</strong> is painful, but that it doesn't change anything. <strong>Royalty</strong> are still the Kings of Ring of Honor and at Final Battle, you will see that Royalty can adapt on the fly... <strong>The Young Bucks </strong>were anticipating facing <strong>Chris Sabin and Davey Boy Smith Jr</strong>... well they can still anticipate facing <strong>Sabin</strong>, but <strong>Sabin</strong>'s partner... well... he will remain a mystery until the second he comes down that aisle.</p>
