Jobbertrev Posted January 10, 2018 Share Posted January 10, 2018 I love playing C-Verse because of the balance that the default (and 97) database gives me that most real world mods don't have, which gave me the thought of renaming mainly younger wrestlers with young counterparts. I'm going through trying to imagine what 19-22 year old would work if they became named Randy Orton, or a young CM Punk, etc to see these guys rise up through their career with a slightly different name. Any specific guys pop up with this train of thought? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Olathay Posted October 31, 2018 Share Posted October 31, 2018
This is an excellent idea!

I was following a similar approach, namely using the (robust) main game database and then switching out the worker images with appropriate real world workers.

In my mod I have only female companies, so I deleted the others and then adjusted the bios to avoid referencing any of the "missing" companies. My mod starts with the big three female companies, with another eight or so coming in at random points in the future. Over time I may expand on this.

I did not use the real world names (so far) for a couple of reasons:

(i) The workers would eventually regenerate with different names;

(ii) If not regenerating then the other issue would be how to avoid male wrestlers coming in as random new workers.

Though, your idea makes me consider whether I should change their names and bios too.
Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
