What's going on in YOUR game?

So Asanovic was suppose to have this awesome showdown title fight with Taneyev for the light heavyweight title but he went with an injury training. So I thought he got a cut or something simple.

Nope! He shattered his elbow and is going to be out for a full year? I've also run into the UFC problem of people cleaning out their divisions.

Braulio Moura is probably going to end up fighting Adam White even though he's already beat him because the only other valid contender in my opinion is Petey Mack and Moura beat Mack for the title so.

Lamont Banner has also completely annihilated Featherweight. He annihilated it to the point where I moved down Atep Of Indonesia just to give him a challenge and knocked him out in the first round

I'm trying to build up James Diggle to fight him but he's already beaten him too.

I hardly ever post on here but WMMA 5 is the game I'm spending the most time on these days, and this Modern Warriors UFC save is my brain child so I just thought I'd talk about it. I've been thinking about doing a diary or youtube let's play about it but I don't have time for the editing and typing right now.

When UFC Undisputed 3 came out I fell in love with MMA. I loved all the techniques and arts to fighting there were and I was hooked instantly. Most of all, I loved the idea of making my own PPV, and being able to decide who faces off against who, so using create-a-show mode I would create my cards and keep spreadsheets on fighter rankings and records. It was very time consuming but I loved it. WMMA 3 came along and it was game over, the perfect MMA booking simulation. WMMA 4 was nice but I didn't have much time to play it. But boy do I make time to play this game. I feel like I am Dana White.

Anyways, I am using the first version of the Modern Warriors RW Mod, and am currently in October 2019 inside of a very deep UFC save in which there is one fight card every week. Since the beginning of the save in February 2018, I have hosted 85 fight cards with at least 10 fights on every show. I have had multiple title changes, including 3 in a very competitive Welterweight division.

Current Champions:

HW: Cain Velazquez- KO on Stipe Miocic at UFC 226, has defended twice.

LHW: Daniel Cormier - has defended 3 times, but out with Injury currently.

MW: Chris Weidman - KO on Luke Rockhold at UFC 230, has defended once

WW: Rory MacDonald - KO on Rafael Dos Anjos at UFC 240, my recent PPV

LW: Conor McGregor - Lost title to Edson Barboza, won it back at UFC 237

FW: Yair Rodriguez - KO on Max Holloway at UFC 237, will defend vs. Aldo

BW: TJ Dillashaw - Last defence against Dominick Cruz at UFC 238

FLY: Demetrious Johnson - Has defended 3 times, will face Kyoji Horiguchi next

W FW: Sarah Kaufman - TKO on Cyborg at UFC on Fox: Cyborg v Kaufman

W BW: Ronda Rousey - Submission on Holly Holm at UFC 238

W FLY: Mackenzie Dern - Won tournament final at UFC on Fox: Joanna v Gadelha

W SW: Claudia Gadelha - Last defence against Joanna J at UFC on Fox

I have turned the All-Female promotion Invicta into a developmental system that I send my prospects to, in order to get some wins in their pocket as well as some notoriety by being on UFC Fight Pass. This allows me to pick up any prospects I seem fit, as I can see whether theyre ready for the big time, according to their time in Invicta. It also allows me to snatch up any promising regens that come up every beginning of the month.

My goal is clear, put on the best fight cards possible, and dominate the world MMA scene. I'll keep you guys posted.

Darrin Blood pulled a Jon Jones.

He was one of my most successful champions up until he got pop'd for TRT after his seventh Welterweight Title defense against Danny Rowan. He's out for a year now so I guess I have to strip him of the belt and have Rowan fight somebody else for it.

This comes right after Asanovic finally comes back from his training injury so I guess one of my top stars is going to get taken away for a year every year from now on.

I want to set up the 155, 165 and 175 division thing for the new year. So Moving Welterweight up and keeping lightweight as is but I don't know what to call the 165 weight. I really don't want to call it super lightweight or light welterweight or something. Anyone got ideas?

Playing the Modern warriors mod as Ufc & the light heavyweight has become a joke. First I move Cormier up to heavyweight & he beats Miocic to hold 2 titles. So I put Gustafsson up against shogun for the light heavyweight interim title which Gustafsson wins. Cormier is then done for recreational drugs so I strip him of both titles. Jon Jones then returns & beats Gustafsson in seconds. Cormier returns from a ban & is talked out of retirement. The Jones vs Cormier rematch finally happens & Jones wins again. Hes then done for ped's so its another no contest. I promptly sack him & now the title is vacant again. I guess Gustafsson will get the title again just for keepin away from the Charlie :-o

Just about to enter 2005 with GAMMA and there appears to be something built into the game that means LeToussier and Rubenstein just can't stand each other.

They've had 1 more fight since I took over and Rubenstein won via 2nd round KO. So the series is 3-0 in favour of Rubenstein with a UD and 2 KO victories under his belt and, still, LeToussier calls him out for a 4th fight with Rubenstein accepting. The Heat on this is 'Nuclear' but I can't really justify booking it because who wants to see LeToussier get pummeled for a 4th time?

Some of the belt's are being hot-shotted around as people seemingly can't manage a successful title defence. The Super Heavyweight hasn't had a successful defence since the game started. Gary Sampson beat George Pickering. Kel Ryan beat Sampson, McIneen beat Ryan, Glossop beat McIneen and now Ryan just beat Glossop to become a 2 time champion.

Heavyweight Division is similar. Since last update, Foster got the title back KO'ing Kapur with 1 second to go in the 4th after being knocked about for the whole fight. He then immediately dropped the title to Terron Cabal who then dropped it in his first defence to Kapur.

Fezzik retired but I convinced him to return and join us for the Icon vs Icon battle vs James Foster. Fezzik KO'd Foster in the 2nd round. It seems he's sticking around til he loses. Lars Gunnar Ekberg is the hero of this save. Calling out everyone he can and backing it up by whipping their ass. He's currently 9-0 and since I started he's beaten Gaby Corrales, Sam Hoynes, Fatuma Roy, Sylvester Collins, Pai Cheng, Aleksander Ivanov, Mason Archer and Tim Boyer in the process. Only Cheng made it to the end of fight and lost by UD. Ekberg is about to get his shot at Kapur for the title.

Rubenstein defeated Mike Watson to win the Light Heavyweight title for a 2nd time. He then successfully defended vs LeToussier and Van Der Moot (Won via TKO after only 1:27 of Round 1. That was a shock!) before losing to Affonso Villar.

Adam White is the current interim Middleweight Champion. He was set to face Dean after missing a year of action due to a concussion. A few weeks out, Dean goes down with a Major Concussion and will miss 16 months of action. Garner vs White is made for the interim title, as I can't strip Dean, and White wins easily. Not much else to report here.

Manuel Silva is the unbeaten champion at Welterweight and I can't see him losing. His next defence is vs Jack Humphreys. Humphreys is my idea of Chael Sonnen. Trash talker supreme. He's had 4 fights so far, won 3 with 1 NC. He beat Rufus Stephens via UD but got popped for drugs and was banned for a year. He & Nathan Chambers went back and forth on Social Media for a year. On his return, Humphreys wins via UD and now faces the champion.

I'm considering Humphreys vs Silva to be similar to Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen. The defence is happening in Brazil too.

Fiyero Lermentov is unstoppable as champion at Lightweight. Luiz Machado has had 1 successful defence as Featherweight champion but we've recently added Tomohiro Takuchi, Willy Basset, Li-Kong Ho & Phillip Ziskie to the division so we'll see how this develops.

Rennaya Rives won the women's Flyweight Tournament to be crowned champion. We've only 12 women in this division but it's a start. Plus Pamela O'Niell has recently joined too so the division has been put on notice.

Only one award for GAMMA for the year 2004. Affonso Villar wins fighter of the year which means a GAMMA fighter has won it for the past few years. 2002 was Rav Kapur and 2003 was Fiyero Lermentov. Alpha-1 take back the crown for company of the year.

That's the latest news from my save. A lengthy update. Sorry.

GAMMA - May 2005.

Super Heavyweight. Kel Ryan champ. (14-1) 2nd reign. One defence. Title has been passed around a lot. His only defence so far was against Ravi Kapur who I moved up to challenge him as Kel was turning down every fight offered due to his pop being significantly higher than the challengers offered.

Heavyweight. Ekberg champ (17-1). Yet to defend. Took title from Satinho in a close fight. Won by majority decision.

Light Heavyweight. Danny Akabaro champ. Yet to defend. 15-0 (4-0 GAMMA) Took the title from Van Der Moot. Won his first three fights with the company by TKO/KO in a combined total time of 1 minute and 11 seconds, including a 10 second stoppage of Jin Katou. An absolute savage.

Middleweight. Braulio Moura champ. One defence. (31-5-1NC) Took the title from Ramon da Silva Ramos in a lopsided decision.

Welterweight. Helio champ. Two defences. (26-1-1). Won the strap from Diego Arteta to become double champ as he already held the Lightweight title. Decided to keep Helio at 170 for now and vacate the LW title.

Lightweight. Lamont Banner champ. Yet to defend. (18-2) KO'd by Ziskie at Featherweight and dropped a split decision to Lermontov at Lightweight, Banner recovered to stop Seth O'Breen in two rounds to win his first title.

Featherweight. Phil Ziskie champ. Two defences. (29-3-1) Stopped Lamont Banner in 95 seconds to become the first GAMMA Featherweight champ. He should have a baby with Pam O'Neill. The kid would be the G.O.A.T.

Bantamweight. Brian Claremont champ. One defence. (17-4). Stopped Ollie Rockmetteller in 49 seconds to become the first GAMMA champ at 135lbs. A division very much in it's infancy.

Women's Featherweight. No current champ. Still recruiting for this brand new decision. I have a few ladies I'll be moving up from my 135lb division too, I recruited a few natural Featherweights to give Pam O'Neill a challenge.

Women's Bantamweight. Pam O'Neill champ. Six defences. (24-1). Hope Lehane recently took her to a fifth round but was never really in the fight. Unstoppable. Has just suffered a major concussion and will be sidelined for 13 months. Rain Richards will face Katy-Jayne Paulson for the interim title.

Looking to open flyweight divisions for the men and the women in the next 12 months. Tempted to close the men's Super Heavyweight division.

Loving the game. I have a PS4 and a big ass TV but I spend my time glued to the monitor of my ten year old desk top PC playing this.

I started the game as WARRIORS with no popularity and 250k I believe. It's been fun, now in 2005. I won company of the year!

Heavyweight - My most competitive division, my first three champions couldn't manage a successful defense Olu Yolo on the other hand, did manage one defense, but lost it when Vitor de Melo came calling. Notables in this division include Khru Duangjan, Pai Cheng, Kurt McDonald, and Taye Burnett.

Light Heavyweight - Pedro Sousa is the current champion, and has been since the belt was introduced. 3 defenses made, the most in my company. It's weird, I originally had Sousa win it to just hold it for more talented men to join my roster. But so far he has beaten back Hyun-Shik Lim twice and Gekko Goto. I was for certain Lim would win it and hold it for a while, but no. Fortunately, I have a strong champion now, my LHW is my most prestigious title, and I have finally a competitive division. Notables include: Emil Karlsson, Hyun-Shik Lim, Junior Patinkin, Gekko Goto, Allen LeFleur, Marcos Maciel, Kendall Tracey.

Middleweight - A fairly good division. Julio Gutierrez is my champion. Frederico Vergara beat Reed Howlett and Martin De Vries before dropping it to Gutierrez. So far he has been a good champion too. He beat JJ Reid who GAMMA left go of, and Ervierton Laurentino. Still, this division isn't the best one I have. Notables include Davis Spyrou, Ethan Sutton, Tyrone Malik.

Welterewight: My most entertaining divison to book, I am based in Ireland so having Brian O'Flaherty talk shit and win bouts is so fun. He was former champion until ALPHA-1 let go of Fukusaburu Hirano and O'Flaherty called him out. The match didn't last long. Regardless this division is packed but I don't think any of them are on Hirano's level. So Hirano will remain champion until ALPHA-1 take them away from me. Notables include: Kafu Bunya, O'Flaherty, Craig Hulme, Callum Henson, Filip Hristov, Ryan Beeker.

Lightweight: A terrible division if I can be honest. Can't find much talent. A regen joined and he is basically God right now, and realistically the only one who can challenge Manoel Cabral who just beat former champ Ron Chuckle senseless in a title match. "Notables" include: Jake Walken, Bosco Curbeam, Ron Chuckle, Shaiming Lu (the regen)

Does anyone have any suggested hirings?

Featherweight: Like the Lightweight division but a little bit better. Heiko Pander just beat Freddy Lomax RIGHT as Lomax decided to leave for Alpha-1. Lomax was an excellent champ and Pander was the underdog by a large margin and still came out with a unanimous decision. Stoked. This division has solid talent, so I'm happy. Notables include: Foggy Lee, Azor Portela Nunes, Saul Cervantes, Jefferson Mindawe, Stephen Conti, Taki Inouye.

Bantamweight: Not yet. I'll wait a bit.

Women's Division: Same as. Going to grow first as I am only mid level regional.

That's what's up. Really loving this edition of WMMA.

Officially entering the Anderson Silva era! Rich Franklin rocked him in the first round though, so a rematch is definitely on the horizon (probably in Cincinnati just like IRL).

Chuck has been unable to win "the big one" in my game, so easing him back into the title picture with a fight and KO against Jeremy Horn. Love this game!!

So this happened. I was convinced he was programmed to be a druggy, but he's actually not.

Would be funnier if it was recreational drugs though. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

It is wrong of me to hire Ivanov and Satinho just for the giggle upon seeing their nicknames opposite of each other at the weigh-ins? <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I'm currently in the process of trying to form a Men's Strawweight division in the near future, and I will also be forming a Women's Atomweight division soon, using the formula the UFC did in real life for their Flyweight division. I will use The Ultimate Fighter as a tournament in order to get the fighters I'm bringing up from Invicta some TV time, before hosting the final on PPV for the inaugural UFC Women's Atomweight title. I've also recently started streaming my gameplay and posting my vids to YouTube. Check 'em out if you've got some time and give me some feedback!

I just saw probably the most brutal KO I've seen since playing WMMA5, Alpha 1 hosted Sukarno vs Atep 2 and as you'd expect it was fireworks from the opening bell. The best part however was the finish, early in the second round Sukarno opens Atep up with a feint hits him with a brutal body kick that broke Atep's ribs then proceeded to Soccer kick and stomp on his already broken ribs, then the coup de grace was a flying stomp to the head. Atep managed to get away with a 6 month medical suspension but damn he'd be lucky to ever recover from that mentally.

TL;DR = Sukarno lives up to his nickname, Atep in hospital.

So I havn't done an update on my game for a while - I am currently midway through 2013 with my created promotion Matt FC (MFC). I started off with no fighters on my roster and just signed free agents, and i have grown to become the biggest promotion out there. My promotion is tournament based, where fighters have to win a tournament to earm a title shot (like the early Bellator days). I'll do a little round up of each division.

Heavyweight

Aleksander Ivanov (2002-2004) & Morgan Wakarewarewa (2004-2006) dominated the heavyweight division in my early years with each fighter making 3 defences of the heavyweight title each. Then until 2008 things got a bit messy with nobody able to keep the belt - it changed hands between Murilo Satinho, Sam Hoynes & Aleksander Ivanov (2nd riegn). In 2008 Murilo Satinho won the title for the 2nd time and was a dominant champion, defending the belt 4 times. In 2010 Svein Haugen caused a big upset to win the title but he couldn't keep hold of it as Hector Jimenez took hold of the title. Jimenez has turned out to be the most dominant heavyweight champion in MFC's history and is the current champion, successfully defending the belt 5 times to date.

Lineage: Aleksander Ivanov (3 defences) --> Morgan Wakarewarewa (3 defences) --> Murilo Satinho (0 defences) --> Sam Hoynes (0 defences) --> Aleksander Ivanov (0 defences) --> Murilo Satinho (4 defences) --> Svein Haugen (0 defences) --> Hector Jimenez (5 defences to date)

Most successful Heavyweights: Murilo Satinho & Hector Jimenez

Light Heavyweight

Asides from one dominant champion, the light heavyweight division has seen the title change hands regularly. Datsakorn Pratoomwong was the first MFC champion and after 1 defence Allen LeFleur won the title in 2003. LeFleur managed 2 defences before Joshua Hope surprisingly won the title. Hope managed one defence however in 2006 Valentin Tanayev took the title which he would hold for nearly 4 years, becoming one of the most dominant champions in MFC history accross any weight class. A record 7 title defneces including 6 stoppages saw him reign until late 2009 when Matthew Michael Kirby shocked the world to win the title. Kirby managed just 1 defence before Lars-Gunnar Ekberg finally won the title on his third attempt. Ekberg made 2 defences before Allen LeFleur won back the title he lost 8 years earlier. However in the most recent LHW title fight Renan Heleno took the title and is the current champion.

Lineage: Datsakorn Pratoomwong (1 defence) --> Allen LeFleur (2 defences) --> Joshua Hope (1 defence) --> Valentin Tanayev (7 defences) --> Matthew Michael Kirby (1 defence) --> Lars-Gunnar Ekberg (2 defences) --> Allen LeFleur (0 defences) --> Renan Heleno (0 defences to date)

Most successful lightheavyweights: Valentin Tanayev & Lars-Gunnar Ekberg

Middleweight

The middleweight division has been similar to that of the lightheavyweight division in that asides from one dominant champion, the title has been passed about a lot. Bill Brown was the first middleweight champion and he had a solid run of 3 defences before Heath Kaladaris took the title. After one defence Bill Brown won back the title in a rematch, however lost the title in the very next fight to Kadonomaro Deguchi. He managed one defence before Heath Kaladaris took the title for the second time and this time it was an extremely dominant run - Kaladaris successfully made 7 defences between 2006 & 2010. Ramos Da Silva Ramos took the title from Kaladaris with a big upset and managed to defend the title twice. Paul Goodfellow came from nowhere to win the title in 2012 however was unable to defend the title. Toshiaki Ukiyo won the title and managed one defence before current middleweight champion Gavin Marshall took it from him.

Lineage: Bill Brown (3 defences) --> Heath Kaladaris (1 defence) --> Bill Brown (0 defences) --> Kadonomaro Deguchi (1 defence) --> Heath Kaladaris (7 defences) --> Ramon Da Silva Ramos (2 defences) --> Paul Goodfellow (0 defences) --> Toshiaki Ukiyo (1 defence) --> Gavin Marshall (0 defences to date)

Most successful middleweights: Heath Kaladaris & Bill Brown

Welterweight

This division has been all about 2 men: Evan Pizzarro & Evan Gardner. Asides from a breif stint by Diego Arteta, over the past 11 years the title has been held by either Evan Pizzarro or Evan Gardner. These 2 are so evenley matched - they have fought a record 9 times with Evan Gardner winning 5 times and Evan Pizzarro coming on top 4 times. Aswell as having the slight advantage in the head to head record, Evan Gardner also has the longest title reign when he successfully defended his title 7 times between 2003 & 2007.

Lineage: Evan Pizzarro (2 defences) --> Evan Gardner (7 defences) --> Evan Pizzarro (1 defence) --> Evan Gardner (1 defence) --> Evan Pizzarro (1 defence) --> Diego Arteta (1 defence) --> Evan Gardner (2 defences to date)

Most successful welterweights: Evan Gardner & Evan Pizzarro

Lightweight

Chan Kim Huat was the first champion of the lightweight division and had a good little run with 2 succesful title defences. Chakirit Mamanee came out of nowhere to take the title from him before Tarcisio Dantas won it in 2005. He held it for 3 years in the best lightweight title run during which Dantas made 4 defences of his title. He breifly lost the title to Hatsu Nishijima before winning it back during a rematch. Carl Chenoweth then took the title from Dantas in 2009 and held it for 2 years whilst making 3 successful defences. The newly signed Seth O'Breen won the title in 2011 however was unable to defend as Jazz Snide took the title off him. Snide has been a dominant champion to date and has defended his title 4 times in a row.

Lineage: Cham Kim Huat (2 defences) --> Chakirit Mamanee (1 defence) --> Tarcisio Dantas (4 defences) --> Hatsu Nishijima (1 defence) --> Tarcisio Dantas (0 defences) --> Carl Chenoweth (3 defences) --> Seth O'Breen (0 defences) --> Jazz Snide (4 defences to date)

Most successful lightweights: Tarcisio Dantas & Jazz Snide

Featherweight

The featherweight division has largely been dominated by 1 man: Lamont Banner. Banner was the first ever featherweigt champion of MFC and held the title for over 5 years during which time he made 8 successful title defences. Han Christian Bloch was the first man to defeat Banner however in an immediate rematch Banner regained the title. He made a further 2 defences before Heiko Pander surprised him to take the title. Pander managed 1 defence until Banner won the belt for the 3rd time in a rematch with Pander. Banner only managed 1 defence this time before Jonathan Lee stopped him, however Lee lost the title to Stephen Conti in his first defence.

Lineage: Lamont Banner (8 defences) --> Hans Christian Block (0 defences) --> Lamont Banner (2 defences) --> Heiko Pander (1 defence) --> Lamont Banner (1 defence) --> Jonathan Lee (0 defences) --> Stephen Conti (0 defences to date)

Most successful featherweights: Lamont Banner & Heiko Pander

Bantamweight

The bantamweight divison has been arguably the messiest divsion with not many long reigns. Ollie Rockmeteller was the inaugral bantamweight champion and managed a solid 2 defences before Lito Alcala won the title. Alcala defended it once before Rockmetteller won back the title in a rematch, however in his first defence Brian Calremont upset him to take the title. Claremont was promtly knocked out in his first defence by Lito Alcala so took the title for the second time and held the title for nearly 3 years during which time he made 4 defences. Ronaldo Freitas was the next man to take the title in 2010 but couldn't defend it and Alcala won it for the third time. The title changed hands again however as Zabit Mansurov took the gold for the first time. Mansurov managed one defence before current champion Lei Yin won the title from him, and Yin has defended the title 3 times to date.

Lineage: Ollie Rockmetteller (2 defences) --> Lito Alcala (1 defence) --> Ollie Rockmetteller (0 defences) --> Brian Claremont (0 defences) --> Lito Alcala (4 defences) --> Ronaldo Freitas (0 defences) --> Lito Alcala (0 defences) --> Zabit Mansurov (1 defence) --> Lei Yin (3 defences to date)
