<p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>BREAKING NEWS</strong></p><p>

</p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

</p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>(Los Angeles, California)</em></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Mick Foley and Keiji Mutoh were seen leaving the SSW offices after a days worth of meetings with SSW Owner Vince McMahon.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

When asked for comment, Mick Foley responded, "First off, it's great to be right here in Los Angeles, California" then went quiet and looked around for about 5 seconds.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

When pressed, Foley continued "We just finished hammering out the details of a trading alliance between SSW, PCW, and DPW to use wrestlers in each promotion and cross-promote shows. We are very excited to join this partnership and will provide more details shortly"</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

On a conference call later, Vince McMahon gave us some more details,</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

"Haha, pal, you know getting access to the PCW Network (how did they steal my network anyway) and DPW Universe is a great opportunity for us to showcase the SSW brand around the planet. Plus, there's The Rock, Conor McGregor, and BRAUN!!!! Have you seen Braun? He's HUGE!!!"</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Keiji Mutoh, also on the call, relayed some booking plans for DPW's year.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

"You have Kenny Omega vs. Chris Jericho II through XIII planned for the first 12 months, then we will figure it out from there. Now, if you will excuse me, I need to talk to Vince as I just heard him discussing putting Kento Miyahara under a Green Hornet gimmick with one of his staffers".</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Paul Heyman, who folks did not know was on the call, ended it with "Ladies and Gentleman.... that will do it for today. Thanks for joining us"</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

<p>Now that most of the draft is out of the way, time for a few takes.</p><p>

</p><p><strong>

Personal Draft Goal?</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Get a solid base of UK and BritWres Talent and supplement that with some over American guys and the odd Japanese star for a bit of variation. I think the only major players I missed out on were Finn Balor and Drew Galloway but I didn't expect to get them anyway with how we structured the draft. I maybe could have got Galloway but I prefer the guys I went with. Happy I got T-Hawk although it was perhaps a bit early and I'm surprised that I ended up going with a Women's Division, and especially surprised I got one as good as I did, with the likes of Becky Lynch, Asuka, Bayley, and Candice LeRae. I have 2 great Road Agents in Finlay and Regal, who can also be a GM, I have a good announce team in Phillips and McGuinness, and Wuertz will be a good referee, even if I had John Cone (of all people) sniped the same round.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>What pick was I most happy about?</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Either getting Becky Lynch, Asuka, Aleister Black or Neville, I think all of them could have potentially gone early</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Are there any picks I regret?</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Not really, even EVIL who I traded out I had a plan for, but it fit into NoLegs' roster better to have him and since we have an alliance I can still use him when I need to, and it allowed me to get the team of Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan which is nice. Other than that I feel like I could have signed someone else instead of Chief Deputy Dunne, but only Gulak and Ember Moon went after him and I forgot about both of them after almost getting them earlier on.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Favourite pick for each company?</strong></p><p> </p><p>

NoLegs - Flamita, Haskins, Cobb and Angelico will all do amazing in his company, especially with his booking style</p><p>

Dr_A - Matt Riddle and Conor McGregor, interesting story you could tell there, also Keith Lee. (Noam Dar as I was about to press send, I forgot about him)</p><p>

Southside - KENTA, he was my 2nd choice Japanese pick or my Puro guy, Shiozaki was a good pick up for the round</p><p>

Sinestro - Samoa Joe, I wanted him so bad and hoped he'd slip past R3, Rusev, the next guy I wanted after Joe, Elias</p><p>

Jack - David Starr, Sasha Banks and Blake & Murphy were all people I was about to take</p><p>

Larrikn - Ibushi was my original locked in R4 pick, I like the DG influence and Kzy especially. (As I am typing this you just picked Aussie Open who I completely forgot were in the database and I'm now kicking myself for not drafting.)</p><p>

Uncrewed - What can I say, he saw his opening and swept everything, Strickland was a great pickup</p><p>

Andrew - Managed to get Cena at 3, Miz at 5 and Jericho at 7 which is unheard of in these drafts. Also, The Hurricane is the best R30 pick, don't even @ me.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Picks/Non-Picks that surprised me?</strong></p><p> </p><p>

NoLegs - Nothing really, maybe White so early but the man is over atm so it's good. Oh, and Silas Young was a bit of a panic pick I think</p><p>

Dr_A - Elgin, Just Why? Also, Yujiro is weird considering you only have Page out of the BC but I guess they team?</p><p>

Southside - I feel like Dieter is kinda pointless for you, lots of other guys you could have taken. Not having a Japanese Ref is interesting. Also taking 2-3 members of a couple of stables but not getting/trading for more was a bit odd. Rocky Romero without any of his partners?</p><p>

Sinestro - Nakajima was an interesting choice that early. Bram, like Elgin, Just Why? Moose is eh, Rhino on his own, I like him but meh there are better big vets</p><p>

Jack - Jinder without the Singhs, FaceBrooke on her own, especially in a predominantly WWE/Impact company might struggle, Gargano was a very early pickup but I kinda understand why</p><p>

Larrikn - Naito and then no other members of LIJ, Roppongi 3K without Rocky, Unless I'm mistaken it's quite an old roster, so maybe the lack of youth?</p><p>

Uncrewed - Not taking Sin Cara? Unless you did? I get confused with him/them. </p><p>

Andrew - Charlie Haas is very old and doesn't have Shelton, Surely there was someone better than Matt Morgan, I was going to say Kazarian until I realised CHRISTOPHER DANIELS DIDN'T GET PICKED. Your pop situation might mess you up a bit, that's a lot of very over workers and then a fair bit of meh. Also a lot of picks that weren't on In Ring Workers</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Any plans for your save?</strong></p><p> </p><p>

I think I'm going to kick off with a 16 man tournament to crown my first Heavyweight Champion, some of my lower card guys will fight it out for the National Title, probably in a 6 man ladder at the first PPV. I think I'm going to have to pick up Christopher Daniels for a role somewhere. Going to pick up a few tag teams in Kings of the North, The Hunter Brothers, Maybe Polo Promotions with Joe Coffey, as well as picking up Los Federales Santos Jr to go with CD Dunne and teaming Jack Gallagher and Aiden English. I don't know the plan to crown the first champions yet but I'll work something out, I might make a knockout tag tournament and change the Heavyweight title to a G1 style because that's not over done <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />. I think I have a really strong Women's roster that can be added to with some great British talent like Jinny, Kay Lee Ray, Katey Harvey and more, and their championship might get decided in a Battle Royal/Scramble match. Luckily I don't have any 'local' rivals so I can play quite chill and book more fantasy than ratings orientated, unlike some of the Japanese companies. Since I have an alliance with NoLegs I might look to bring in some of his guys for a big cross brand PPV, maybe featuring the likes of Kushida vs Neville, Okada vs Dunne and Moustache Mountain/BSS vs Storm x Benjamin/War Machine</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Feel free to leave your replies/comments about my thoughts, and copy it and fill in yourself <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

Yujiro and Page is an established tag team. Also, AJ Styles, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows and Cody. Imo I have the parts of Bullet Club that matters... ;)

As far as Elgin, well, he's good, and every promotion needs a good villain...

Personal Draft Goal?

What pick was I most happy about?

Jay White, I love him and so to get him in round eight was good, same with Alex Shelley and BUSHI when they went.

Are there any picks I regret?

Silas Young, is someone I don't have much for

Favourite pick for each company?

Mike - Will Ospreay, he's an incredible hand to have

Dr_A - Anderson and Gallows, if I got a top Bullet Club guy, they would've been mine

Southside - Kento Miyahara, definitely didn't expect him to go that early, would've loved him.

Sinestro - Drew Galloway, great heavyweight to have, wanted him personally but there's too many people I had to get beforehand

Jack - Johnny Gargano, he's brilliant

Larrikn - Roppongi 3K, I would've loved to have them

Uncrewed - Johnny Mundo, he went right after I realised he was still available

Andrew - John Cena in round three

Picks/Non-Picks that surprised me?

Mike - Literally everybody, he couldn't have picked a worse roster if he tried (jokes, love you matey x)

Dr_A - Ted DiBiase Jr, don't even know why he's in the mod anymore

Southside - Axel Dieter Jr, I'd call him very useless in Japan

Sinestro - Bram, I'd rather watch my goldfish wrestle and he died when I was seven.

Jack - FaceBrooke, that one caught me off guard

Larrikn - Adam Cole since he doesn't have any stablemates, great pick-up that late though, last bit applies for the Aussies too

Uncrewed - No one really, potentially Rich Swann I guess?

Andrew - Matt Morgan, Charlie Haas, those also caught me off guard

Any plans for your save?

Destroy DPW, destroy PWK, obtain a stranglehold on Japan and then use my alliance with Mike to destroy his company too- wait did I just type that?

Personal Draft Goal?

Basically 80's NWA if it lived in modern Japan. Grab some strong in ring guys, some good "character" guys, and have some vets to boost up the performance skills. A lot of the draft was "prospect hunting" as I knew I couldn't compete with Okada in National battles, so prioritized getting some young guns who could grow into figurehead types down the road.

What pick was I most happy about?

Kento - Blackout vs V-Trigger was just "too sweet" (See what I did there) to pass up. No lie, Kento is my favorite guy in Japan. I reached based on pure stats for him but very excited to have him.

Are there any picks I regret?

Lack of tag teams. Just missed on KES, War Machine, Violent Giants based on where I had them on the draft board.

Favourite pick for each company?

NoLegs - Marafuji, Suzuki, War Machine, Angelico. Oh yeah, and those Okada and Tanahashi guys

Mike - Tommy End, soooo jealous

Dr_A - AJ, Riddle, Keith Lee all wouldn't of made it past me if he hadn't picked them

Sinestro - Nakajima perfectly spoiled my plans of re-uniting him and Kento as Kensuke Office/Diamond Ring. Revival as well

Jack - Edwards and American Alpha

Larrikn - So many. Ibushi was a heart-breaker. Joe Doering, Violent Giants, basically the whole roster. With both of us without Okada/Tana it will be fun who turns into the "super-indy" of Japan

Uncrewed - La Sombra, Ricochet and Fenix

Andrew - Every pick in the first 11 rounds. National battle machine

Picks/Non-Picks that surprised me?

NoLegs - Flamita and James Storm that early, maybe? The roster is really solid

Mike - ZSJ in round 2 I guess. Guy is just not my jam, but market demand it makes sense there.

Dr_A - No Lance Archer to complete KES

Sinestro - No Aiden English for Rusev day

Jack - The sisters Apache

Larrikn - Love them all, huge roster crush on his guys

Uncrewed - Shadow Boy and El Santo Jr grow into SQ monsters that he could of fit in somewhere

Andrew - Early non-exclusive TV deals

Any plans for your save?

Omega vs Jericho II-XIII via alliance loans. Bullet Club feuding with everyone including themselves. Kento beating everyone, always.

RE: Dieter

27, good technical skills and pretty high star quality. He won't be an Ace for DPW, but will be an Openweight/IC title holder type for the next 10 years if we can keep him.

<p>Admittedly, I've been sidetracked most of the past week, so I can only speak to my situation and the roster I drafted. If I get the chance to revisit this once stuff dies down, I'll absolutely do that.</p><p> </p><p>

I also know I need to send title/TV/PPV info, and I'll hope to have that done tomorrow. For now, here we go.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Personal draft goal?</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Simply put, I wanted to be the evil empire. It didn't necessarily start off that way, but starting about when I picked Cena in round three, I realized my roster would be one that most of the rest of those in the game would love to hate. I don't mind being the bad guy!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>What pick was I most happy about?</strong></p><p> </p><p>

There were a couple, but Triple H being available in the 11th round was absolutely stunning to me. I get he'll probably be in time decline, but that seemed like a steal.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Are there any picks I regret?</strong></p><p> </p><p>

This is where I justify a few of my picks. The Matt Morgan selection, in particular, seems to have puzzled a few people. Simply put, his A star quality and B+ menace were too much to ignore, and in my game, he may be EC3's bodyguard. Haas is there to serve as an experienced jobber that can teach some of the younger guys how to work, and his in-ring skills were very appealing in the 39th round (even though he'll be in time decline).</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Any plans for your save?</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Make tons of money and buy everyone else out. (maniacal laugh)</p>

<p><strong>Personal Draft Goal?</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Create a real world TCW, or an American AJPW. Hard hitting, old style wrestling.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>What pick was I most happy about?</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong></p><p>

Oddly, it's the late round picks. Being able to draft Chuck Taylor, Drew Gulak and Flip Gordon gives me joy, even if they don't particularly fit into my product.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Are there any picks I regret?</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong></p><p>

For the most part it's the picks I didn't make. Taking my time to pick up at least one of Kofi Kingston and/or Xavier Woods to complement Big E. Forgetting about Lance Archer. And NoLegs is completely fair in wondering about Ted DiBiase Jr. I'm pretty sure I've never seen him wrestle. It just seemed useful to draft a tag team partner for Cody. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Favourite pick for each company?</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong></p><p>

NoLegs - Flamita is a nice pickup. </p><p>

Southside - I would have killed to have a couple guys like Kento Miyahara and Daisuke Sekimoto in my company. </p><p>

Mikemanwba - Neville was a good pick. I would have loved to have Roderick Strong and WALTER. </p><p>

Sinestro - Samoa Joe. Would have fit like a glove in PCW. The Revival.</p><p>

Jack - I would have loved to have K.O. Getting Sasha Banks in round 24 is a contender for steal of the draft.</p><p>

Larrikn - Yuji Okabayashi in round 25 and Hideki Suzuki in round 26? Get out of here. Not fair.</p><p>

Uncrewed - The audible to late draft a women's division with Io Shirai, Kairi Hojo, Mayu Iwatani and Ronda Rousey...man.</p><p>

Andrew - Paul Heyman is the only *really* good manager in the draft. I was looking at HHH as my number one choice as owner/booker. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Picks/Non-Picks that surprised me?</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong></p><p>

I don't want to second guess what plans people have for different wrestlers, so it's not a matter of "bad" picks, but Southside picking Velveteen Dream surprised me a bit? Not sure what Larrikn is going to do with Adam Cole (in a company I otherwise adore, it looks 100% my jam). </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Any plans for your save?</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong></p><p>

None. Will most likely just do a watcher save to see how it plays out.</p>

My first show of DCW Live, leading up to DCW Episode 1 in the middle of April. Not the best ratings, but I expect a rocky start while I run some tournaments and get people where on the card I want them. I've actually decided the entire 12 man G1 style tournament will have randomly generated results, expecting a Sheamus vs Neville final which is fine by me. Tag KO tournament is starting next week, and Becky got a win to show her off to the home crowd. Extraordinary Gentlemen are English & Gallagher for those interested</p>
