Pro Wrestling SAISHO: A New Beginning

Recommended Posts

Pro Wrestling SAISHO held their first show of 2016 on New Year's Day. The show had no matches advertised in advance other than Azumamaro Kita defending his Destiny Championship against KAZ and the Diamond Dogs defending their Destiny Tag Titles in a fourway tag match.

SAISHO Genesis 2016

Mito Miwa makes an entrance and calls out his new business partner, his older brother Akahito Miwa. The Miwas go on to say that they're at the forefront of a revolution in professional wrestling. From now on, every SAISHO bout will be openweight and the wrestlers that build the most momentum will be the ones getting title shots. No backstage politics and no favors.

Match Results:

Connor Threepwood & Samoan Destruction Inc defeated Japanese Phoenix & The Night Terrors

Bryan Holmes, Frankie Perez, Greg Gauge, Bulldozer Brandon Smith, and Greg Black defeated Eagle Kawasawa, Razan Okamoto, Tanyu Toshusai, Tsuneyo Yanagimoto, and Orange Tsuchie

The Diamond Dogs defeated Akamatus & Nakasawa, the American Cobras, and the Hurt to retain the SAISHO Destiny Tag Team Championship.

Azumamaro Kita defeated KAZ to retain his SAISHO Destiny Championship

I'm really looking forward to this diary. I love the fact that SAISHO is its own company now not tied to PGHW.

You have a stacked roster here. So many guys who would be great in the future: Yoshinaka Taku, Greg Gauge, Orange Tsuchie, Tsuneyo Yanagimoto, Bulldozer Brandon Smith, Razan Okamoto, Tanyu Toshusai. Kita & Sugimura will be great too, BBS as well. Great roster.</p>
