<p>Parque de Bomberos</p><p> </p><p> [OOC, I tried something different in this format. The preshow match gives you the winner and the grade. The first couple of matches got short summaries and then the big three matches got longer. I also had some issues getting graphics to load in so I will try to add those in later! Please let know if you like the format -- or what format for shows you like best. I figured this format made the bigger matches feel a little bigger and also made it quicker to write the smaller matches.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>ALL Parque de Bomberos</p><p> Wednesday Week 4, March, 2016</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Pre Show</p><p> Teresa Perez vs. Claire Winters</p><p> <strong>Winner</strong>: Teresa Perez, E.</p><p> </p><p> Ariel Breaks vs. Natalie DeMarco vs. Concepcion Gomez vs. Elsa Calvo</p><p> </p><p> A four way contest to officially start the third show for Amazonas de Lucha Libre. Each woman got the opportunity to showcase some offense, but it was not a long match. Less than ten minutes with neither woman really taking control or looking like a big star. Gomez and Calvo ended up on the outside after double dropkicks from Breaks and DeMarco and then Breaks rolled DeMarco up for the three count in a short opening contest. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner</strong>: Ariel Breaks, E+</p><p> </p><p> Laura Flame vs. Tamara McFly vs. Thea Davis vs. Fuyuko Higa vs. Simony Sentinel vs. Maria Guest</p><p> </p><p> The six woman scramble was all over the place. It was spot-fest with no real rhyme or reason to anything being done. McFly was clearly supposed to be the ring general in this match but she definitely had seen better days and was looking at her prime in the rear view mirror. Higa shone in this match -- her strong strikes and her ability to do anything in the ring really came through and she directed traffic and had the match running through her. Every woman bumped for her big time and got her strikes over as lethal -- including a kick to Guest’s head that the bubbly babyface sold like she got kicked by a horse.</p><p> </p><p> Flame and Higa got into a strikes exchange, each one kicking each other as hard as they could -- much different than the normal strikes in a lucha libre contest. Right in the middle of the kick exchange, Davis clotheslined both of them and let out a roar. Sentinel hit Davis with a big Implant DDT and got caught with a superkick from McFly.</p><p> </p><p> Flame hit the Flame Fire Kick on McFly after the superkick and got the victory in a sloppy but entertaining six-woman scramble.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner</strong>: Laura Flame, E+</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Quinzel & Svelte vs Saez and Suarez</p><p> </p><p> Saez and Suarez were making their first appearance as a team here against the former AAA Tag Team Champions. Both Quinzel and Svelte were coming off of singles victories at the last show and were looking to capitalize on those with a big tag team win here. Saez and Suarez showed some really good team work early on -- using their speed to work over Selina Svelte. Both used a lot of kicks to Svelte’s lower body and tried to keep the smaller woman from tagging in The Mistress of the Backbreaker -- who was also the tallest woman in the match.</p><p> </p><p> Svelte thumbed Saez in the eye and dragged her by her hair to tag in Quinzel -- who took over the match. She hit Saez with a variety of backbreakers -- including a suplex into a backbreaker that left Saez writhing in pain. Saez managed to make the tag into Suarez, but unfortunately Suarez got hit with Quinzel’s Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker that she calls Spinal Trauma and that was all she wrote for the upstart duo.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winners</strong>: Quinzel and Svelte, D-</p><p> </p><p> Houston Handley vs. Bizzaro</p><p> </p><p> Bizzaro was looking for her first victory here in ALL and Handley was getting her first singles contest after two tag team losses. The match started and both women were all over the place. It was clear that these two women did not have chemistry in the slightest -- and it was also clear that Bizzaro did not come with her working boots on as she slipped off the second rope when she attempted some sort of move off the second rope. Handley did her best to try to carry Bizzaro, but they weren’t able to do much of note. </p><p> </p><p> Handley managed to hit her Houston's Problem [brainbuster[ and got the pin for the win.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner</strong>: Houston Handley, E+</p><p> </p><p> Mexican Tag Team Championships</p><p> Electric Dreamer and Mystery Pink versus The Anti Establishment</p><p> </p><p> Electric Dreamer got out to the ring and pointed to the curtain where Mystery Pink pushed through and came out to good applause. This is her first appearance here in Amazonas de Lucha Libre. A ten year pro, she’s the only woman to have held OLLIE’s Campeonato del Mexico. Dreamer and Pink high five and turn to watch their opponents come out.</p><p> </p><p> The Texas-based Anti Establishment push through the curtains with the Mexican Tag Team Championships wrapped around their waist. The crowd begins to boo the rudo champions who are attempting to make their second title defense.</p><p> </p><p> Pink started the match off against Hernandez and started off hot. She put Hernandez in an overhead wrist lock, bent her back to the mat and stomped hard on her bent arm. Hernandez yelped in discomfort and Pink started to work over her arm, using a blend of sharp strikes and various arm holds -- clearly trying to take away Hernandez’s ability to hit the running bulldog she favors.</p><p> </p><p> Pink tagged in Dreamer who came off the top rope with a flying one-footed stomp onto the arm of Hernandez. Hernandez dropped to a knee and tried to dive over to Rojo but Dreamer wouldn’t let her. Hernandez tried to use her right arm to fight free, but Dreamer gripped her left arm and did a springboard arm drag that looked like it might have wrenched Hernandez’s arm out of socket. Hernandez used the ropes to pull herself to her feet and Dreamer came running for what looked to be a mid-rope avalanche or flying body press of some sort, but Hernandez ducked out of the way and Rojo was there to throw a knee right into Dreamer’s face.</p><p> </p><p> With Dreamer now stunned, Hernandez was able to make the tag and bring in her fresh partner who immediately went to work trying to ground Dreamer. Noted for her power, Rojo got Dreamer on the ground and began to pound on her. Solid strikes to the body followed up by a deadlift German Suplex. The young girls in the audience were firmly behind Dreamer, trying to will their apparent hero to get back on her feet when Rojo drove a knee into her before tagging back in Hernandez who used her right arm to let out a barrage of strikes. Her tattoos glistened with sweat as she went to the apron and springboarded herself back in and hit a leg-drop that got a near fall.</p><p> </p><p> Rojo came back in and continued the assault on Dreamer, including a nasty looking belly-to-belly suplex into the corner where she tagged back in Hernandez who springboarded back into the ring and hit an elbow drop on the prone Dreamer and got another near fall.</p><p> </p><p> Hernandez set Dreamer up for the running bulldog but as she began to leap, Dreamer shoved her off. Hernandez turned around and came charging back -- only to be caught with an enzugari in the already damaged left arm. This provided the opening Dreamer needed to dive forward and tag in Mystery Pink.</p><p> </p><p> Pink came in like a house of fire. Big right hand to Hernandez. Flying forearm to Rojo. Dropkick to Hernandez, dropkick to Rojo. The crowd was on fire as Pink hit the ropes and came charging back at Hernandez who lifted her up and dropped her throat first on the top rope. Pink grabbed at her throat as Hernandez rolled her up and put her feet on the middle rope.</p><p> </p><p> Alejandro Pascual did not see the feet on the ropes as he counted the one, two, three. Luigi Marin -- who didn’t really get involved in this contest, was ecstatic to see his team win.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winners</strong>: and STILL Mexican Tag Team Champions, The Anti-Establishment, D+ </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Esperanza Montero versus Cherry Bomb</p><p> </p><p> Cherry Bomb came out to the ring like a woman on a mission. The crowd was familiar with her. She’s been one of the most prominent female wrestlers in North America -- her eight year run in USPW giving her international exposure. The crowd instantly began to boo her -- and she soaked it in. She even feigned like she was going to attack a little girl in the front row which got the crowd even louder. She got in the ring to the chorus of boos and just soaked it in.</p><p> </p><p> Then the screen above the entryway said the word “Montero” and the place came unglued. Montero is a name that holds a lot of meaning here. It is a family legacy. It is lucha libre royalty and when Esperanza Montero stepped out from the curtain she just conveyed star. Just like her brother Gino and to a lesser degree her brother Luis. She stood there for a long moment just letting the crowd welcome her. She was dressed in gear that resembled the classic gear of her father -- the classic white and gold. </p><p> </p><p> When she got in the ring, referee Alejandro Pascual did not even have time to signal for the bell before Cherry Bomb was all over her. Hard forearms to the back and to the face. She drove her face into the turnbuckle and then dragger her eyes across the top rope in an attempt to blind her. Cherry lifted Montero up into the air, dropped her legs over the top rope and let her slingshot back to a vertical position only to fall backwards for a big slingshot suplex. Cherry pulled Montero back to her feet and hit her with another hard forearm that sent the rookie wrestling her first match ever stumbling into the turnbuckle. </p><p> </p><p> The crowd as all over Cherry when she draped Montero’s throat over the top rope and locked her arms around her neck, trying to choke her out with the ropes -- only breaking when Pascual reached four on the dreaded five count. Cherry pulled Montero back out to the center of the ring and lifted the young woman up into the air and just held her there. Showcasing incredible strength, Cherry continued to hold Montero there, letting all the blood rush down into Montero’s head before falling backwards again with a stalling vertical suplex that got her a near fall. </p><p> </p><p> Cherry pulled Montero back to her feet and finally the young woman was able to fire off a punch, then a second punch, then a third punch and the crowd came alive. Montero hit the ropes and came charging back with a leaping leg lariat that knocked the squat Cherry Bomb off her feet. Montero hit the ropes again and caught Cherry Bomb with a spinning hurricanranna. </p><p> </p><p> Montero laid in a couple of kicks and then hit a Tornado DDT. All of her offense looked crisp and showed the trademark blend of smooth technical wrestling and great aerial ability that made her father famous and has propelled both of her brothers to stardom with OLLIE.</p><p> </p><p> The crowd was firmly behind Montero when she hit Cherry with a straight-jacket German Suplex for a near fall and then a Fisherman’s Suplex for another near fall. With Cherry on the mat, Montero climbed to the top rope and went for a 450 splash that Cherry countered by getting her knees up and then rolled her up with a small package for a near fall that almost brought the roof off the building. Cherry picked her up and lifted her into the air like she was going to do some sort of powerbomb variation on the smaller woman but Montero was able to lift herself up and off of Cherry Bomb. Cherry turned around and Montero grabbed her and immediately hit her with the Destiny Explosion [Exploder Suplex] that looked as beautiful as when Gino does it. The crowd counted along with Pascual as he counted the one, two, three and Esperanza Montero won her first professional match. As Montero got her arm raised, the crowd roared with approval -- not only did Montero get over, but the match between her and Cherry Bomb might have been the best match that ALL has put on so far.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner</strong>: Esperanza Montero, B-!!!</p><p> </p><p> Mexican Championship</p><p> Queen Amazon vs. Aguila Azul Celeste</p><p> </p><p> Amazon and Celeste had a long stare down to start the contest. The size difference was on display here. Amazon is bigger, looks stronger, looks more imposing, where-as Celeste looks like the quicker athlete in the contest. Last month Amazon laid Celeste out with a Triple Powerbomb and the tension between the two is clear when the bell rings. Celeste comes right out, firing kicks to the thick legs of the more-powerful Amazon. Amazon stumbled back and Celeste hit a big dropkick. Amazon got back to her feet and Celeste shot her off into the ropes across the ring. Amazon came ricocheting back and Celeste hit another big drop kick that sent the stronger woman to the mat and out of the ring. Amazon took several steps away from the ring, clearly trying to get her wind back and cut the early momentum of Celeste.</p><p> </p><p> Celeste followed Amazon out of the ring and Amazon quickly slid back in. As Celeste slid back in, Amazon drove a knee right into the center of Celeste’s back -- not giving her the chance to get into the ring or to her feet. Amazon took control of the match from here, beginning to really work over Celeste’s back with a series of suplexes and submissions focused on the lower back. Amazon fired Celeste off into the ropes and tried to use Celeste’s momentum to lift her up above her head into the Military Press position. Celeste slid out of her hands though and hit her with a dropkick to the back that knocked Amazon out of the ring. With her opponent standing on the floor, Celeste hit the ropes and took to the sky, flipping through the air so she landed back-against-chest on Amazon, driving them both to the ground.</p><p> </p><p> Celeste tried to pull Amazon back up to her feet, but her back gave out and she wasn’t able to -- so she had to roll into the ring solo while the referee administered his count. ALL uses a twenty-count on the outside, and by ten Amazon had not yet gotten to her feet. By thirteen she was on her knees and by seventeen she had rolled back into the ring. Celeste pulled Amazon up and mustered all her strength to hit the bigger woman with a snap suplex that laid Amazon in front of the turnbuckles. Celeste pointed and the crowd began to cheer as the reigning Mexican Champion climbed to the top rope. She spread her arms like the eagle she is named after and leapt into the air, rotating backwards to complete the rotation of her Aguila Press, but her landing was far from graceful as she crashed hard into two thick knees that Amazon had managed to raise to her chest. Amazon rolled away from the now-gasping Celeste and pulled herself to her feet. The crowd booed loudly as Amazon shoved Celeste’s head between her legs and wrapped her strong arms around the midsection of the champion.</p><p> </p><p> Amazon hoisted Celeste into the air and drove her into the mat for one powerbomb -- but she didn’t stop there. Keeping her grip, she showed off her impressive lower body strength and lifted Celeste back into the air and drove her into the mat for a second powerbomb. Again, showing her strength she pulled her back up for a third time --but she did not drop her immediately. Instead, she walked from one corner to the other, taunting her opponent and the crowd with her strength. When she arrived near the other corner, Celeste swung her body down and used her legs to whip Amazon head first into the top turnbuckle. Amazon hit the mat hard and Celeste pulled herself to the top rope and leapt off, this time hitting the Aguila Press perfectly. Senior (and only) ALL official Alejandro Pascual was right there to count the 1, 2, 3.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner</strong>: and STILL Mexican Champion, Aguila Azul Celeste, C-</p><p> </p><p> After the match, Celeste was attacked by last month’s challenger Purple Viper, who threw her into the guard rail and then hit a shotgun dropkick that sent Celeste over the barricade and into the crowd.. Viper picked up the Mexican Championship and grinned at it before dropping it back on the ground. It helped that apparently they have great chemistry and that Esperanza's gimmick, a simple fan favorite, got rated as a great. I hope y'all are enjoying the diary so far.</p>

I'm also in the education field. I started as a classroom teacher but have moved out of a day to day classroom role. You have to take a lot of exams here too -- especially as a new teacher, though you don't have to take them each time you're in a new school. I hope your written exams go well. I don't know what subject you teach, but hopefully you knock it out of the park.</p>

<p>Luis Montero pushed back from his desk and took a long, much deserved drink from the highball glass next to his computer. Three months in to promoting his own shows and he was getting critical acclaim. His Parque de Bomberos show was the talk of the wrestling press and internet. Phil Vibert did twenty minutes about the show on his Vibert's Voice podcast. People were raving over Esperanza and her debut against Sherri. Yes, March was a good month.</p><p> </p><p> There was a knock on his office door - which wasn't really closed so it was more of a polite "Hey I'm coming in" kind of knock. Tamara McFly walked in.</p><p> </p><p> "Hey boss." She said, but didn't give Luis a chance to respond. "I'm just letting you know now that I plan on retiring in a couple of months. I know you had some plans for me to be one of the backbones of this roster and really work with the young girls -- but after the six woman scramble I woke up and could barely move. Too often when I'm working indy shots I'm finding myself in the same predicament. I want to preserve my quality of life and I think the best way to do that is retire."</p><p> </p><p> "So, why not retire now?" Luis asked.</p><p> </p><p> "I had already committed to some bookings through the end of June and I want to honor those dates."</p><p> </p><p> Luis nodded his head, "Well I appreciate the heads up."</p><p> </p><p> It was Tamara's turn to nod. "Of course. I'll let you get back to it."</p><p> </p><p> With that, she turned and was gone and Luis was left alone to ponder. He took another drink -- this one deeper and sighed. He was going to have to shuffle some long term plans, but that was okay. That's the wrestling business.</p><p> </p><p> He pulled out the recently printed advertisement for Genocidio and smiled. This could be another great show if things go how they're supposed to.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="45183" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p>ALL Genocidio</p><p> Wednesday, Week 4, April, 2016</p><p> Live at the Merida Resort</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Main Event</strong></p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Mexican Championship</span></p><p> Purple Viper versus Aguila Azul Celeste ©</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Semi Main Event</strong></p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Mexican Tag Team Championship</span></p><p> Birds of Prey versus The Anti Establishment ©</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Singles Match</strong></p><p> Hermosa Gurrerra versus Pinky Perez</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Singles Match</strong></p><p> Mystery Pink versus Poison Ivy</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Singles Match</strong></p><p> Estrella Blanca versus Jaguar Queen</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Tag Team Contest</strong></p><p> Concepcion Gomez and Elsa Calvo versus Tex-Mex</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Opening Match</strong></p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Trios Match</span></p><p> Tamara McFly, Thea Davis, and Natalie DeMarco versus. Purple Viper versus <strong>Aguila Azul Celeste ©</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Agula Azul Celste practivally doubles he popularity, Viper is not a realistic or credible challenger, if a title change happens is just a swerve for the sake of a swerve</em></p><p> </p><p>

Semi Main Event</p><p>

Mexican Tag Team Championship</p><p>

Birds of Prey versus <strong>The Anti Establishment ©</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>The Anti Establishment are on a streak and if their last challengers couldnt beat tham, i dont see them losing the titles any time soon, and although the Birds of Prey are a goodteam, they lack the popularity in Mexico to be Credible Challengers.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Singles Match</p><p>

<strong>Hermosa Gurrerra</strong> versus Pinky Perez</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Hermosa Guerrera continues her push, and goes on a dominant streak, is only logical to dod that if you want her to be the rival of Esperanza she needs to be over, and Pinky right now its just another body on your roster.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Singles Match</p><p>

<strong>Mystery Pink </strong>versus Poison Ivy</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Mistery pink needs to get her momentum back, after that lost chance at the tag titles, and although Poison Ivy is a good worker, the Popularity gap is too big.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Singles Match</p><p>

<strong>Estrella Blanca</strong> versus Jaguar Queen</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Estrella Blanca has a lot of potential and shes practically the face of the CILL womenss division, so I think you would want to capitalize on that, Jaguar Queen is a good one to have, and they will put one hell of a match, but i dont see her beating Estrella Blanca.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Tag Team Contest</p><p>

Concepcion Gomez and Elsa Calvo versus <strong>Tex-Mex</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>The Last couple of shows Tex-Mex have been winning, getting back their momentum, and they are the more stablished team of the two, so i say you are trying to make them the face challengers to the titles os they get the win.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Opening Match</p><p>

Trios Match</p><p>

Tamara McFly, Thea Davis, and Natalie DeMarco versus. <strong>La Bestias en la Jungla</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Usually would go for the first team but knowing Tammy is retiring, makes me thing you would want to use her to give a little more experience to younger gals, and at the same time putting them over, DeMarco is just to green, and I dont think you have big plans for The Red Queen, so I say the BIg Muscular Women win.</em></p>

Live from the Merida Resort

“Amazonas de Lucha Libre” by El Diablo Nunca Duerme played over the public address system to officially start the fourth show for the all-luchadora company. The sold out Merida Resort was brimming with a palpable energy.

The music transitioned from the official ALL theme to a custom song that sounded both intense and tribal. Padre Carrasco marched onto the stage dressed in a suit with a camo tie and stood there before being flanked by three of the biggest women in lucha libre, Deborah Young, Juliette King, Monster Ishimura. It is an intimidating looking site the three women who would be wrestling in the heavyweight division if they were wrestling against men.

They arrived in the ring and turned to wait as the hodge-podge group of Tamara McFly, Natalie DeMarco and Thea Davis. Padre yelled some instructions at his Bestias en La Jungla who nodded and jumped their opponents before the match had even started. Monster and King each lifted up DeMarco and Davis and tossed them out of the ring with double gorilla press slams, leaving McFly by herself.

McFly looked like a woman who recognized that she was going to be hurting in the morning -- but she was not going to surrender. She exploded at Young, tossing every blow she could at the much bigger woman, but Young drove her knee into McFly’s stomach and quickly lifted her up and dropped her with a hard Sitout Powerbomb for the win.

Winner: La Bestias en La Jungla, E+

Next up, Concepcion Gomez and Elsa Calvo teamed up for the first time to face Tex-Mex.

Calvo and Gomez showed some good team work early on. They isolated Handley, working over her neck. Calvo is, of course, an expert with the running bulldog and Gomez known for her surfboard stretch that she can really torque any part of the body she chooses -- which looked like it was going to be Handley’s neck from the way Calvo grounded Handley on her stomach and dropped knee after knee into the back of Handley’s neck. Perez jumped up and down and tried to will Handley back into the contest, but it didn’t look good.

Calvo locked Handley’s head and began to run across the ring. Calvo leapt into the air but Handley managed to shove Calvo off and into the turnbuckles. With Calvo down, Handley fell into Perez’s outstretched hand. Perez leapt over the top rope and came in like a house of fire. A flying forearm knocked Gomez out of the ring before she could get her feet under her. Perez turned back towards Calvo who had just gotten back to her feet. Perez hit a Tilt-A-Whirl-Head-Scissors. Calvo hit the mat and bounced up and got a big arm drag, drop kick, and tornado DDT. Calvo got back up and Perez launched herself at her, leaping up so she was wrapped around her arm and kept spinning while straightening out Calvo’s arm. It’s a beautiful Around The World Armbar that causes Calvo to start tapping out.

Winners: Tex-Mex, D-

Jaguar Queen came out rocking a full jaguar cloak -- including a hood that was made of the Jaguar’s head which gave her a very intimidating look as she stood across the ring from the experienced Estrella Blanca. The current CILL Women’s Champion, Blanca, stared unblinking at Jaguar who took her cloak off. A strong lock up started the match and these two women were off to the races. Blanca started off using her speed to her advantage. Jaguar Queen is noted for her technical prowess -- but she did not get a chance to showcase it early on as Blanca kept the pace of the match to her advantage. Quick kicks, dropkicks, flying head scissors. Even a second rope moonsault for a near fall. After the near fall, Jaguar rolled out of the ring and asked for a time out.

Instead of a time out, she got hit with a suicide dive from Blanca that got the crowd up off their feet. Blanca roared and motioned for the crowd to give her a little bit more. They did just that, giving her exactly what she was asking for. Blanca reached down to pull Jaguar, up and when she got Jaguar to her feet, Jaguar jabbed her thumb in Blanca’s eye. The crowd booed as the rudo hit a snap suplex on Blanca right there on the outside. ALL does not have mats outside of the ring so Blanca’s back hit the unprotected floor of the Merida Resort Ballroom. Jaguar pulled Blanca up and rolled her underneath the bottom rope and then rolled in after her. Jaguar Queen kicked Estrella Blanca right in the shoulder. Blanca yelped and grabbed at her shoulder as Jaguar went to work. She locked in a seated arm bar and really bridged up on it -- trying to wrench the left shoulder out of socket. Blanca refused to submit though and instead worked her knees up under her and rolled forward, causing Jaguar to lose her grip.

Jaguar got to her feet and Blanca launched herself at her opponent. Jaguar ducked and Blanca crashed chest first into the top rope. She stumbled backwards and Jaguar hit her with a snap German Suplex that got her a near fall. Jaguar pulled her up to her feet and hit Blanca with a beautiful Butterfly Powerbomb that she followed up with the cover and the three count.

Winner: Jaguar Queen, D

Mystery Pink and Poison Ivy was the next contest and these two women put on a back-and-forth clinic of lucha-libre. These are two of the best luchadoras on the planet and they went back and forth, hold for hold. Both women are noted for being particularly strong grapplers with particularly strong chain wrestling ability. Ivy kept trying to catch Pink in the Venus Fly Trap [Octopus Stretch], but each time she went for it, Pink found a way to prevent it from being locked in. Pink got some separation and launched a hard kick to Ivy’s leg -- Pink’s martial arts background showing with her rapid fire kicks to the lower body and then side of Poison Ivy.

Ivy blocked a kick and hit one-foot drop kick that created some separation from Mystery Pink. Pink shook off the cobwebs and came charging back and Ivy ducked under and once again went for the Venus Fly Trap, but Pink again fought out of it and this time hit a Pele Kick that staggered Ivy and allowed Pink to hit a leaping DDT that laid out Ivy and allowed Pink to climb to the top rope and hit the Flying Body Press and get the one, two, three.

Winner: Mystery Pink, D+

Hermosa Guerrera came out to the ring next. During her entrance, she pulled a microphone out and let those in attendance -- and those who might purchase the DVD of this event.

“Tonight, I continue my quest to build my legacy and prove myself to be the greatest warrior in history. Tonight, I stand in the ring against Pinky Perez and I will allow her to hear the Call of the Warrior and to know what it is to find beauty in defeat.”

Promo Grade: D

Pinky Perez came roaring down to the ring and took it right to Guerrera. Perez was clearly coming out with something to prove. She’s been wrestling for six years. In those six years, she’s captured the CILL Women’s Championship on three occasions. She’s recognized as one of the best luchadoras in history and she’s standing across the ring from the first graduate of the Escuela de Amazonas, a woman who has proclaimed herself to be the greatest warrior in lucha libre. Perez tossed some quick strikes early on, shot Guerrera off into the ropes, hit her with a deep arm drag, kick to the back and then a standing senton. A quick pin attempt got only a one count.

Perez continued her all out assault on Guerrera. Some grounded elbows and then a standing moonsault got another one count for the more experienced luchadora. Perez pulled Guerrera to her feet and hit a snap suplex. She rolled with the suplex and pulled Guerrera up again. Guerrera threw several punches into the midsection of Perez, preventing her from lifting her again. Perez broke her grip and took two steps back to prevent Guerrera from immediately capitalizing.

Guerrera stepped forward and fired off a kick towards Perez that Perez blocked. Perez fired off a kick of her own, but Guerrera caught it and pulled her to her, which allowed her to throw a forearm to the side of Perez’ head. Guerrera hit the ropes came running back and hit a leaping knee. The knee to the jaw caused Perez to stumble back towards the ropes and Guerrera kept on her. Forearm, chop, forearm, chop, leg kick, irish whip, back body drop, standing double stump. Guerrera let her offense fly. She was showing that she was well trained in the basics and that while Perez has six years of experience on her -- the beautiful warrior was not going to be outclassed. Guerrera pulled Perez out onto the apron and hit a snap suplex onto the apron that caused Perez to fall to the floor. Perez was supine on the floor and Guerrera hit a springboard moonsault from the ring apron to the floor. She landed directly on the center of Perez.

She pulled Perez up and went to whip her into the guard rail. As Perez was running towards it, she managed to jump over it -- showing her impressive athleticism by clearing the guard rail and landing on her feet on the other side. She turned to look at a shocked Hermosa Guerrera and just shrugged. Guerrera turned to look at the front row fans who were roaring with approval. Perez motioned for Guerrera to bring it on. Guerrera feigned like she was going to come charging towards Perez and then rolled into the ring.

Perez hopped over the guardrail and went to slide into the ring, but Guerrera caught her with a senton to the back. Perez arched in pain as Guerrera wrapped both arms around her waist and hit her with a picture-perfect gut-wrench suplex. Gurrera pulled Perez up to her feet again and hit a standing drop kick that sent Perez back to the mat and got a near fall. Guerrera pulled her up once more and lifted her up for either a stalling suplex or a brainbuster, but Perez managed to squirm her body enough that she dropped down behind Guerrera. Dropkick to the back sent Guerrera crashing into the corner chest-first. Guerrera rest against the corner as Perez backed up and took aim before launching forward. She hit a leaping cannonball to the exposed back of Guerrera. When Perez landed folded up, she got her knees into position and then yanked back on Guerrera’s tights so that Guerrera fell right onto the knees of Perez. Perez went for the cover but only got a two.

Perez pulled Guerrera up and butterflied her arms. She looked out at the crowd who came alive as she lifted Guerrera up, but Guerrera managed to get her legs around Perez’s head. She managed to break the butterfly grip while hitting a hurricanana on Perez. Perez was quick to get back to her feet but she ate a kick to the gut. Guerrera lifted her up for a suplex but then spun her out into a powerbomb -- successfully completing her Call of the Warrior. She made the cover and got the one, two, three in what was a fantastic contest.

Winner: Hermosa Guerrera, C

Fuyoko Higa’s tag team partner, Gemmei Oonishi, was making her ALL debut on this show - giving The Birds of Prey their first international tag team contest -- and the 5SSW standouts were challenging the reigning, defending ALL Mexican Tag Team Champions, The Anti Establishment.

Higa and Oonishi showed the team skills that have made them stars in their native Japan, and also helped get the fans behind them against the diabolical Anti Establishment. Luigi Marin was very active on the outside of the ring, giving instructions to his Tag Team Champions. Higa and Oonishi isolated Hellcat from her corner and worked her over with a series of hard kicks, chops, and forearms. Hernandez took the beating and kept fighting, kept trying to swing punches of her own to create some separation but The Birds of Prey were on the hunt.

They looked like they were about to pull it out when Luigi Marin hopped onto the ring apron and got referee Alejandro Pascual’s attention. With the referee distracted, Rojo entered the ring and pulled something out of her kneepad. Oonishi turned around and got caught with a hard punch with a loaded hand. Higa came running at Rojo and also got a punch from the same hand. Rojo pulled Hellcat onto Oonishi and exited the ring right as Marin dropped off the apron. Pascual turned around and counted the three.

Winners: and STILL Mexican Tag Team Champions, The Anti Establishment, D

Aguila Azul Celeste was given a pretaped interview segment that did not go over well. It was clear that she was not very comfortable here.

PROMO: E

Purple Viper came out first in a beautiful purple snakeskin jacket that went very nicely with her purple outfit. She seemed to almost slither on her way to the ring. Once in the ring, she sat in a corner almost coiled up, like a viper ready to strike.

Next out was the reigning, defending Amazonas de Lucha Libre Mexican Champion, Aguila Azul Celeste. Her blue outfit shone under the light as she unstrapped the Mexican Championship from around her waist and handed it to Alejandro Pascual. He showed it to Viper -- still coiled in the corner. She nodded her head in acknowledgement.

Celeste’s first challenger is also her third challenger. Celeste gripped the top rope and pulled herself loose. Pascual called for the bell. With the bell rung, Viper uncoils and meets Celeste in the center of the ring for a lock up. It’s a solid lock up that Celeste gets the better of with a quick arm drag.Viper is back to her feet and gets hit with another arm drag. Viper gets back to her feet and gets hit with a third arm drag and this one sends her sliding underneath the bottom rope to the floor to catch her breath.

Celeste had other plans though, and immediately hit the ropes opposite Viper and came roaring back. Leaping up, she cleared the top rope and twisted her body in the air. Viper looked up and didn’t have time to move at all before Celeste’s body crashed right into her and sent them both to the hardwood floor of the ballroom. Celeste pulled Viper to her feet and rolled her into the ring. Celeste got on the apron and looked around before pulling herself up and bouncing off the second rope. She springboarded in with a tope con hilo. Celeste went for the cover but only got a two.

Celeste pulled Viper to her feet and dragged her into the corner. Celeste backed up all the way to the turnbuckle opposite Viper and then took off. She handsprung, turned in midair, and drove her elbow into the sternum of her opponent. Viper stumbled out of the corner clutching her chest and Celeste hit the ropes and came charging back. She leapt into the air and wrapped her legs around Viper. Turning, she completed the head-scissors that sent Viper through the middle and top rope and crashing to the floor once again. Celeste got to her feet and bounced several times before taking off. She hit the ropes and came bouncing back, this time she went to dive through the middle and top rope, but Viper had this once scouted. She reached up and grabbed a handful of hair. With a hand in her hair, Viper propelled Celeste into the guard rail -- which almost buckled with the force of the impact of the champion’s body crashing into it. Viper did not give Celeste time to convalesce on the outside -- she immediately pulled her away from the guard rail and turned her so her back was towards it. Lifting her up, she fell backwards and drove her body with a modified back drop suplex into the metal guard rail.

Pascual was demanding that Viper bring it back into the ring. She relented and rolled Celeste back in but immediately went for the cover. It only got her a two count. This didn’t seem to phase Viper who immediately went to work. She hit several snap suplex variations -- standard, German, Fisherman’s -- but none could gain her the desired three count, but each got her a step closer. Viper pulled Celeste to her feet, but Celeste immediately countered with a small package that got her a two count.

Viper kicked out, got to her feet and kicked Celeste hard. Celeste started to get to her feet and Viper springboarded off the second rope, flipping backwards, she extended her arm and got Celeste’s head for a textbook Springboard Inverted DDT.

Pascual counted one. Two. and just before his hand hit the mat for the three Celeste got her shoulder up and the crowd exploded. Viper got up and got in Pascual’s face, slapping her hand three times to indicate that she thought it was a three. She turned around and got caught with an enzugari. Viper crumpled to the mat and Celeste climbed to the top rope and leapt off. She hit the Aguila Press and Pascual slid into position.

One. Two. Three.
