CJ Weston sits at the same weathered high-top table as we saw him previously. The tattered concert posters from years gone by stand as a great contrast to his simple black v-neck shirt. That said, it’s obvious that this is “his spot”; where? We don’t quite know yet.

 

Unlike earlier, CJ is making direct eye contact with the camera this time. There’s no drink before him, again unlike before. That said, he does have a black leather-bound book in front of him. It’s small and equally as worn as the space he finds himself in.

 

“It didn’t take long for Grimm to try to sweep our legs out.”

 

CJ seems more energized today. Not in a “man, that was a great work-out” kind of way but rather in a frustrated, defiant sort of way.

 

“He went right for Rem (Remmy Skye); tried to put a wedge between us right away. He could have signed him at any point, but he waited until I wanted him. That’s when he swooped in…”

 

CJ shakes his head, annoyed (even when removed from the situation after all of these years).

 

“We kept ‘em. As we all know. That contract though…”

 

Weston bites his top lip a bit as he shakes his head, an angry twitch if you will.

 

“By the end of it all, Rem was coming away with eighteen-hundred a month. That’s a good six-hundred higher than was first expected. F*cked is over early on, paying that much.”

 

We change our scene now in which to see Brother Grimm seated in the back of what appears to be a limo. The interior is a shiny-black leather; track lighting creating a sleek vibe. Despite it being dark in the limo, Grimm still wears his black sunglasses; an accessory that he simply cannot live without.

 

Grimm runs his left hand across his perfectly barbered beard as he shakes his head, pursing his lips.

 

“I didn’t go after no Remmy Skye. Why the HELL would I want that motha-f*cker? I could have had him at any time, didn’t sign him. Weston’s blowing smoke up ya a$$. What else is new.”

 

We, again, return to a shot of CJ Weston leaning forward with his elbows on the weathered high-bar table in front of him. He seems as agitated as ever.

 

“Of course he’d say that. He’s not going to admit that he lost. F*ckin’ punk.”

 

All of a sudden, we switch to an entirely new scene. Here, we see a slender-built man sitting in a meditative state. His legs are crossed, his arms stretched out slightly, and his fingers curled up in a traditional pose. Around him, the room is a light tan coloring; beads, Buddha statues, and dim-lighting everywhere.

 

The cameraman pans around to look directly at the front of this person’s face. Here, we see an aged Remmy Skye. It’s hard to really pinpoint how old he is at this point; however, the couple greys in his hair tells us something.

 

He slowly opens his eyes, directing them calmly at the camera lens as he speaks in an equally calm manner.

 

“Grimm is lying. He tried to sign me.”

 

That’s all we see of Remmy Skye. We cut back to the sight of CJ Weston nodding his head, snarling in a smirking fashion (as if he heard Skye clarify his statement). Then, we see Brother Grimm running his left hand across his beard, shaking his head in the process (again, as if he could hear what Skye had said -- but didn’t).

 

Finally, we cut back to CJ Weston one last time.

 

“Skye was ours. Grimm wanted him. He didn’t get ‘em. Case closed.”

Chavez is younger, he has improved as a wrestler, and him winning is a way to keep the Latino Kings happy, also Brendan Idol has always been incosistent with his performances, and Chavez is more popular than Idol, getting that Pop from his time in FCW.
